“Steve!" came from the living room
Bucky didn't seem distressed - if anything, he sounded very amused - so Steve only hummed in response.
“Come on, get your ass over here!" He grumbled.
"Why?" He was very cozy here, thank you very much.
“Come on, I found 21st century you on the internet!”
Alright. His curiosity was picked now. A 21st century version of him? What did Bucky mean by that?
Sighing, Steve got up then walked out of his mini-studio. In a few seconds he was next to his partner, who seemed to be laughing at his laptop. Steve dropped next to Bucky, who shifted to rest against his chest. He sneaked both arms around the brunet and placed his chin on his shoulder.
“What is it?”“Just look,” Bucky said, waving a finger at the screen.” Shuri sent me some weird recipe earlier, and I just found this guy.”
B Dylan Hollis, the name said. Huh, didn’t ring a bell. Although, the young man did look like he used to. Very thin, blond, blue eyes… yes, he could see the similarities.
“Oh but it gets better”, said Bucky who was looking at him from the corner of his eyes.
He clicked on what turned out to be a video, and after that came the most chaotic thing Steve witnessed in the last month - considering who his friends were, it was an achievement. It was amazing.
“Are there more?”
“Absolutely!”
Steve and Bucky rearranged themselves better, and they spent a solid ten minutes looking at this guy’s videos. The rice bread and carrot cake reminded them of their time, but the jello salad definitely made them seriously question the sanity of the people in charge of the food industry.
“Look at this one”, suddenly said Bucky, pointing at the screen. “Do you think it could be legit?”
“Only one way to know.”
Bucky nodded then clicked on a new video. ‘A fake apple pie, from the great depression’, the man announced. It did sound like a recipe straight from his Ma’s book.
They stopped watching after this one, saving the page to continue later. Instead, they got up, scoured their kitchen for Ritz crackers and when they found none, wrote down everything they needed and Steve left for grocery shopping.
When he came back an hour later, Bucky had everything already sorted out so they put away everything before Steve went to change into comfortable clothes.
The recipe seemed pretty straightforward - if you didn’t make your own dough, which they wouldn’t try today- so they set the oven to preheat right away.
Bucky played the video one last time, comparing it with the list he had scribbled down. Satisfied, he put the laptop away then -dramatically- cracked his knuckles. With a grin, he handed Steve the dough and the shell while he grabbed the crackers and the bowl. They set to work, talking about the last time they had seen someone cook this: Sarah Rogers, the year she fell sick. Talking about her, and after that Bucky’s family brought back memories and emotions they had almost forgotten, and they spent the time the pie cooked cuddling on their couch, a nature documentary as background noise.
Finally, the pie finished cooking, and they brought out small plates and went back on the couch. They looked at each other before digging into the dessert.
The mock pie tasted like home.

Introducing the Buckuary Intersectional Bingo!
Starting TODAY and going through February 28th, we will be doing the Buckuary Intersectional Bingo! It was an idea pitched by @polizwrites, who is very clearly a genius, and we're super excited!
So what is this? It's similar to a 5x5 bingo, except that each blank square represents a combination of the person (columns) and the trope (rows) as the inspiration for your fanwork. The FREE column lets you pair Bucky up with anyone/anyones -- or no one at all -- and the FREE row lets you choose your favorite tropes as the inspiration for your fanwork!
Pairings can be platonic, romantic, or sexual, and the interpretation of the trope is up to you - the only square policing is the minimum fanwork requirements and our usual BBB rules. Want to write a ShrinkyClinks fic to fill the No Powers AU? Sure! You’re dying to draw a Scooby Doo mashup for the supernatural elements trope? We’d love to see it! All fanworks are welcome, from art to fic to crafts to playlists, moodboards, rec lists, anything!

Scratching an Itch
It started as a way to blow off steam after a mission, this thing between Bucky and Clint. A quickie fuck in Clint’s apartment to help burn off the excess adrenaline. Bucky would bend Clint over the couch and pound into his hole until Clint came screaming from the force of his orgasm, Bucky following close behind with a few grunts and an awkward mumble of “thanks.”
But after six months of this dance, Clint found himself wanting more than the wham-bam-thank-you-man nature of their - whatever they are - but he is too scared to ask. Too afraid of losing Bucky.

Bookmakers, other teams and hockey fans from everywhere around the globe were eagerly awaiting the encounter. Both teams were at the peak of their success, and the rivalry between the two captains was often talked about. People thought they hated each other. Oh, how they were so far from the truth… They somehow couldn’t imagine people from their two countries being friends. How stupid. Not only did they not hate each other, they got along very -very- well. Way too much for direct rivals, that was for sure, too much also for the vast majority of russians.
Yasha was even friends - or at least on friendly terms - with other people from Steve’s teammates. It was a lot more than what he could say about the majority of his own team.
As Yasha stepped into the Arena, he looked around. The ambiance was electric: the public was screaming, there were cameras everywhere - he almost had knocked into one… As he caught the look from Captain America himself, it dawned on him that this was finally it. He smiled, winked at Steve before hopping onto the ice.
For Yasha, whatever the issue of the match turned out to be, it would be a victory. Either his team won, and he would have a nice medal and be able to call himself an Olympic champion… Or they lost and they were vice champions. In both cases, he had a shiny medal. In both cases, he would not go back to Russia. In both cases, he would be free.

Wanda groaned as she pulled the sweater dress over her head and struggled to adjust it around her curves. “Boha,” she cursed as she turned around, her head only moving when she had to, checking her reflection in the mirror. Nothing was fitting right nor was it hiding the protruding bump in front of her that she and Bucky desperately tried to keep a secret. She faced the mirror again, her hand resting on the bump and the other on her back. “Why didn’t I get a bigger size?”
“What’s wrong lisichka?” Bucky walked into the room, fingers working the buttons of the navy shirt he wore.
“I don’t think we can hide it anymore, miláčik môj,” Wanda sighed, looking at his reflection. Her hand ran over her belly as her head tilted to the side. “I think it’s time we finally told everyone.”
He finished the last button and wrapped his arms around her, his flesh hand resting over hers as he rested his chin on her shoulder. “They would be blind not to see that you are pregnant,” he mused, a small smirk forming on his lips.
“James,” she groaned, her eyes lit with amusement, “I’m talking about us...telling them about us.”
“Why do they need to know? I mean, we were able to date and get married without any of them, including Natasha, knowing about it.” He looked at her in the mirror, and noted the narrowing of her eyes. “Oh...you don’t want them to think you got knocked up from a one night stand. Ooof!”
Her high heeled foot slammed onto his bare one, knowing he could take it.
“James,” she warned, “si niekedy neznesiteľný, vieš o tom?”
“Lisichka,” he soothed, his metal hand coming up to drag a finger down her cheek and neck, “I’m teasing. I’m sorry that I offended you, lyubimaya.” He placed a kiss on her neck before stepping back. “If you want to tell them tonight, we will. And you look beautiful, Wans. Just like on our wedding day.”
They arrived on time but sat in the car for almost an hour as Wanda was having second thoughts about telling everyone close in their lives that she and Bucky had been secretly married for almost two years and now they are expecting a child in the next five or so months.
“We don’t have to go in, lisichka,” Bucky said softly, his flesh hand taking hers and giving it a squeeze.
Wanda shook her head and smiled. “It’s Steve’s birthday, we should go.”
“Lyubimaya, he’s going to have many more after this one. We don’t have to do this now. We can wait until mladshiy is here,” he offered, raising her hand to press his lips to her wrist.
“What makes you think it’s a boy?” she asked with a giggle, her hand turning to rest against his scruffed jawline.
“It’s a guess. Also, I really want a boy. I’m scared to be a girl dad.”
“She’s not going to break–”
“I don’t want to kill every person that comes to the door to court her.”
“That’s very sexist,” she teased, her hand falling to unbuckle her seatbelt. “Alright, let's go. They are going to find out sometime in the future.” She took a deep breath and opened the door. Bucky was by her side in seconds, his arm going around her waist and taking her purse from her.
“What the fuck am I seeing?” Tony’s jaw looked like it would fall off and drop to the floor, making Bucky chuckle to himself as he watched Steve glare at the billionaire.
“Tony,” Steve groaned, rolling his eyes and uncrossed his arms as he walked towards Bucky and Wanda. He gave them both a warm smile and hugged each one of them before he looked at Wanda. “You look amazing.”
“Thanks Steve,” Wanda replied with a bright smile.
“So, when did that happen?” Sam asked with a smirk, looking at Bucky with a raised brow.
“When did what happen?” Bucky replied stone faced, but Wanda could see the glint of mischief in his blue eyes.
“Oh, you know what,” Sam scoffed, shaking his head.
“Oh, we got married about two years ago,” Bucky replied nonchalantly, his right shoulder going up as his mouth pulled up in one corner. His response earned a sputter from Tony, who was downing a glass of scotch. His reaction made Bucky laugh, earning a light slap to the chest from Wanda, who was smiling.
“No shit,” Natasha teased, winking at the couple, “you tried hard, Barnes, but you didn’t succeed.”
“You knew?” Wanda asked, her eyes widening. “How–”
“I was a Russian spy. It’s my job to know things,” the redhead replied. “But I didn’t tell anyone. Not my business. Just a bit hurt that you didn’t tell me.” She gave her a mock frown but raised her glass in a salute and smiled.
“Well, Laura and I knew,” Clint added as he fiddled with something Wanda couldn’t see. “She called Laura within days of knowing, asking about everything she needed.”
“She told Clint and you kept it from me. I’m hurt, Buck,” Steve laughed. “C’mon, we can talk about this over here while Tony adjusts to the news.”
“Fuck off Rogers,” Tony replied, rolling his eyes. “Just more of trying to accept that these two are a couple and we never noticed...outside of Natasha. By the way, you need witnesses to get married, who did you have?”
“T’Challa and Nakia,” Bucky answered as he walked with Wanda over to the couch where Clint moved to the floor to let her sit.
“That’s where we got married too. In Wakanda. Away from prying eyes,” Wanda added, sinking into the comfort of the couch and slipped off her heels.
“Two years,” Tony repeated, “You two have been married for two years. How did we miss this?”
“He’s an ex-assassin and she’s a mind controlling witch,” Clint replied, pointing the straw he was fiddling with at Wanda. “Even if we did find out, I bet she could make us forget.”
“I wouldn’t do that,” Wanda scowled, her hand moving to hit the back of his head. “You’re all like family to me, to us, but there are something we weren’t ready to tell.”
“But now you know, and we can move on,” Bucky smirked, settling on the arm of the couch and earning a slight glare from Tony.
