Letting Her Hair Down

“Sarah! You have to help me! I don’t have much time, she’ll take over again any minute. You have to find a way to destroy my ponytail. It’s the reason I’ve become a bully and a bitch and… and… ohhhh no I can feel her taking over again ahhhhhh…. Sarah? What do you want loser? I have places to be. God you’re such a tragic fashion case.”

Sarah looked at Chloe, the resident queen bee of high school and her former dorky friend, with confusion. One minute had been walking down the hall looking like the poster child for being an entitled princess, the next second she slipped and banged her head on the ground.

Sarah being the good person that she was rushed over to help her back up when Chloe started rambling about her ponytail being evil and controlling her. Had she just been pranked by Chloe with this insane story? Then again it did make some sort of sense. Before Chloe had had her bitch makeover she had been a kind and reserved girl, with an underdeveloped body but a good heart. But ever since she got back from her vacation sporting her new bougie and haughty look, with bolted on big tits and a piercing hot stare, she had been a terror to everyone, especially Sarah. Could it be all because of her ponytail? Sarah needed to find out but for now she had to play dumb.

“Oh sorry Chloe it was nothing.” Sarah said sheepishly. Chloe rolled her eyes and pushed Sarah out of the way and left.

As Chloe sauntered off, Sarah's mind raced with thoughts. She couldn't let her former friend suffer in this bizarre predicament. Determination filled her, and she made up her mind to investigate further. If there was any truth to Chloe's claims, she had to find a way to help her break free from the ponytail's grip.

Determined to find answers, Sarah delved into researching anything and everything about hair that could control someone. That’s when she came across the Hairasite.

According to the legend, hairasites were parasitic organisms that resembled strands of hair but possessed a malevolent consciousness. They were known to attach themselves to unsuspecting hosts, taking control of their minds and manipulating their behavior. Sarah's heart skipped a beat as she read accounts of women exhibiting striking similarities to Chloe's transformation.

She discovered that the hairasite's control over its host could be severed by severing its physical connection. The only solution was to cut off the strand of hair hosting the parasite and destroy it completely.

With her newfound knowledge, Sarah formulated a plan to free Chloe from the hairasite's grip. She knew she had to get Chloe alone, away from prying eyes, to execute her daring rescue mission. After careful consideration, she decided to trick Chloe with an offer she couldn't refuse—a coveted invitation to an exclusive fashion event.

Sarah knew Chloe's new vanity would be her downfall. She crafted a fake invitation to a fictitious cheerleader fashion showcase, one that would lure Chloe into a private dressing room on the far side of school where Sarah could safely carry out her plan. The invitation, complete with glamorous details and a promise of VIP treatment, was carefully slipped into Chloe's locker.

As Chloe entered the private dressing room, her eyes which had been full of anticipation soon turned sour as she saw nothing but an empty room. Then she heard the door behind her click as it was locked.

As Chloe turned around to see what was happening, Sarah pounced. With a surge of strength, Sarah lunged at Chloe, grabbing her by the shoulders and wrestling her to the ground. They grappled with each other, their struggle fueled by a mix of desperation and the raw determination of friendship.

“Oh I am going to enjoy getting revenge on you when I get out of here.” Chloe said with a bone chilling laugh as she fought back fiercely, getting the upper hand. Sarah could feel the hairasite's influence giving Chloe’s body strength. But Sarah refused to give up. With a final burst of energy, she managed to pin Chloe down and swiftly reached for a pair of scissors.

In one smooth motion, Sarah snipped the ponytail clean off Chloe's head, severing the hairasite's connection to its host. The air crackled with tension as the room fell into a stunned silence. Sarah watched in wonder as Chloe’s body started to revert back to normal. Her kind soft face emerging from the cruel sharp facade it had once been. Her too nearly slipping off her as her breasts deflated and her height shrank. Disheveled and panting, she stared at Sarah with wide eyes, realization dawning upon her.

Chloe's gratitude poured forth as she regained her senses, her voice trembling with emotion. "Sarah, thank you... thank you for saving me from that nightmare. I don't know what I would've become without you."

However, as Chloe expressed her heartfelt gratitude, a sinister voice slithered into Sarah's mind, intertwining with her thoughts. "Sarah, dear Sarah, I underestimated you," the hairasite hissed, its voice silky and persuasive. "Imagine the power you could possess, the beauty you could radiate if I had chosen you and not Chloe. Join me, embrace me, and together we will rule this world."

Sarah's eyes widened in disbelief as she looked down at her hand to see she was gripping the ponytail she had snipped off Chloe’s head. She watched it’s tendrils reach for her like a weak newborn. Chloe's voice became distant, muffled by the seductive promises echoing in her mind.

The hairasite's voice grew louder, insidious and persuasive. "Sarah, don't you want to be admired? Don't you want to be noticed and feared? You have the power within you. Just embrace me, and we will become unstoppable."

As Sarah grappled with her inner turmoil, she locked eyes with Chloe, desperately trying to maintain her connection to reality. Deep down, she knew she had to find a way to rid herself of the hairasite's influence, but it was becoming harder by the second to not succumb to its alluring promises.

Chloe noticed the change in Sarah's demeanor, her concern deepening. "Sarah, what's wrong? You feeling ok?"

Ignoring the hairasite's relentless persuasion, Sarah took a deep breath and locked eyes with Chloe. "I need to destroy this hairasite once and for all. I have to get to the teachers lounge." Without another word Sarah unlocked the door and ran as fast as she could to the boiler room.

As Sarah's heart pounded with determination, the hairasite's voice grew more desperate. "Sarah, don't you see? I can give you power, beauty, everything you've ever wanted. We can become an even bigger bitch than Chloe was. We can bully her just like she did to you."

Sarah knew she needed to end this fast as she was starting to get turned on by the thoughts the hairasite was putting in her mind. Images of her commanding a clique of beta bitches to do her bidding and lording it over Chloe was making her unbelievably wet.

Breathing heavily, Sarah burst through the door of the teachers lounge, thankfully empty. She saw her goal though, the disused and often forgot about fireplace. With a trembling hand, built a small pyre of sticks and lit a fire beneath and watched the flames dance around and consume the wood, hungry for more.

The hairasite's voice intensified, filled with urgency as it tried one last ditch effort. "You can be in control!" It said as Sarah was one swing away from destroying it forever.

Sarah's hand paused mid-swing, uncertainty etching across her face. She turned to face the hairasite, her eyes narrowing with suspicion. "You have 15 seconds, explain."

The hairasite seized this opportunity, its voice dripping with convincing charm. "Absolutely, Sarah. I took full control of Chloe because she was boring and dull and had no interest in being a bitch but you… you I can sense want it. You crave it. You want to possess unparalleled dominance over those who have ever underestimated you. I don’t need to control you if you’re lust for the same things I do. Just me on your head, and I'll grant you the power you desire."

Hesitation clung to Sarah's every fiber, but the allure of control tugged at her deepest desires. The longing to be noticed, respected, and feared intensified within her. Swallowing her doubts, she cautiously lifted the severed ponytail, gingerly placing it atop her head.

As the hairasite made contact with Sarah's scalp, a sharp jolt coursed through her body. She winced, feeling the hairasite burrowing deeper, intertwining itself with her being. A surge of power rippled through her veins, and she could feel her entire existence beginning to transform.

As the hairasite's influence surged through Sarah's veins, her transformation continued with astonishing speed and detail. Her nails, once short and plain, elongated into sharp, perfectly manicured talons. Each nail shimmered with a deep shade of crimson, perfectly complementing her newfound allure.

Her makeup shifted dramatically, reflecting the captivating charm the hairasite bestowed upon her. Her eyes were accentuated with smoky, seductive eyeshadow, emphasizing their piercing intensity. Thick, luscious lashes framed her gaze, fluttering with a hypnotic allure. Her cheeks radiated a soft rosy blush, enhancing her flawless, tan complexion.

As Chloe cautiously entered the teachers lounge, her eyes widened in shock at the sight before her. Standing there, radiating confidence and exuding an aura of dominance, was the transformed Sarah. Her gaze turned icy, and a unnerving smile curled upon her lips as she locked eyes with Chloe.

"Well, well, well," Sarah sneered, her voice dripping with cruelty. "Look who decided to follow. Surprised to see the new me?"

Chloe stumbled backward, her voice trembling. "You let her go! It’s me you want, she doesn’t deserve this! Fight it Sarah, don't let this control you!"

A mocking laughter escaped Sarah's lips as she relished in Chloe's bewildered expression. "Oh, Chloe, I’m not being controlled by anyone or anything expect my long buried desires. It's time you realized that power and beauty is all I’ve ever wanted. I've shed my former self, and I won't be held back by weak friendships anymore."

Chloe's eyes welled up with tears, hurt and confusion etched across her face. "No! You’re lying! I don’t believe you! Give me my friend back!"

Sarah's expression hardened, devoid of empathy. “Friend? That's amusing. I have no use for the weak and pitiful. And just to prove it’s me, how about I let my hair down?”

Sarah reached up to the ponytail tie and pulled it. Her blonde hair cascaded down and flowed hypnotically with every sway. She ran her perfectly manicured fingers through her locks, feeling a pleasurable tingle.

“See? There is no hairasite anymore. No Sarah. We are one cruel, manipulative and sexy bitch called Sasha and you’re just a loser nobody who could of had it all but now you’re just in my way.”

With those cutting words, Sasha pushed past Chloe, leaving her standing there, shattered and betrayed. The transformed Sasha reveled in her newfound power, savoring the control she now held over Chloe's emotions, and soon the rest of the school.

I have actually seen people blaming Marinette for Chat Blanc because of exactly what you said at the end. She left him the gift in the first place using her hero powers so there are a few posts floating around Youtube and Reddit saying that she is technically worse than Chloe or Lila because she is responsible for Chat Blanc. I've never seen anyone blame Adrien for it for risking dating her though. You see something new everyday. I guess if you squint extremely hard, they are both at fault for Gabriel's purposeful akumatization of an emotionally devastated destruction god's human channel? Down with these kids I guess? Why don't we blame Master Fu or Plagg for designating a neglected and abused 14-year-old who just lost his mom for the power to destroy anything he touches? I'm sure we can also find some way to blame Bunnix for knowing as much as she does and remaining mum, time rules aside. I think we can blame Emilie too because if she hadn't been bougie and given Adrien a 5th name in the first place, none of this would have happened. She married Gabriel as well so two points against her. Who else can we witch hunt?

Ok yeah blaming Marinette for "causing" Chat Blanc is also ridiculous, yeah technically she kickstarted those dominoes, but there's no way she could reasonably have foreseen what would happen. She's certainly not worse than Chloe or Lila. Those two are actively malicious, while Marinette in no way intended for things to have gone as horribly as they did in Chat Blanc. The only person who's truly at fault for that is Gabriel.

Villains Are Destined To Die modern fanfic headcanons

-In this modern au, Ivonne gets found shortly after the Duke adopts Penelope from the streets instead of being missing for 6 years and grows up with Penelope together so Derrick and Reynold don't hate Penelope or torment her for long but Penelope still resents them, and swore to them she would never call them her brother with heart.

-The imperial empire is still a royal thing so the Eckarts are a famous noble family still, and everyone attends this grand academy school only for the richest and talented students who have a special future ahead of them.

-Penelope grows up to be the prettiest girl school and is everyone's crush. Is the Queen Bee, popular with so many friends and followers, known to be Ice Queen, Snow princess or Snow White bc of her icy eyes, elegance, gracefulness and pretty face--overall looking like a ice queen.

-She's a girl with both beauty and brains, a nerdy bookworm who is studying archeology while so talented; She's the captain of the cheerleading team, is in the school aerobic gymnastic team so she's very flexible and aerobic, does fencing, plays the piano, loves figure skating, ballet and singing.

-Is super fickle, especially coming to food and her skincare. Hates the sun so she constantly carries around a parasol and sun cream to keep in the shade. Is mostly vegetarian, only eating fish, vegetables, fruits and yogurt (blueberry yoghurt icecream is her favourite), making her skin constantly glowing and healthy.

-Has a type of style that she only ever wears to define herself (she's a girl boss); only wearing Spring and winter themed clothes bc winter is the symbol of grief and spring is the symbol of moving on, in spite since she was only adopted and viewed as a replacement for Ivonne to not make it her weakness but her pride as fashion and aesthetic.

-Is very classy+feminine so she mostly wears lots of lace, tulles, dresses, skirts, frills, floral, cute, stockings, heels, coats and handbags. Also always wears turquoise or pale lavender eyeshadow with cat eyeliner but sometimes leaves her face alone since she has natural fair glass skin, rosy cheeks and baby pink lips that make her look like a porcelaine doll which get her a lot of compliments.

-Most of her clothes are designer too since she's a girl adopted by an elite wealthy royal Duke who is an absolute fool for his talented daughter so she's a fashion iconic at school as well~ she loves to shop at Chanel, Laduree and Christian Dior for cosmetics and perfume. She's a literal fashion icon to everyone.

-Not only is she famous in school but also around the world as well. The Duke has her perform songs at balls as the image of the Eckarts and she is alway busy with being a figure at donating charities or opening new buildings, and her modeling career (because again, she's a fashion icon).

-She has also made her own perfumes and fashion before which everyone is crazy about, and her instagram pics has millions of likes and followers. Penny also often goes out to luxurious parties or dinners with her friends so her insta is full of her having fun and living the bougie life. Has so many admires that she has her personal maid to come to school and clear out her locker that's full of chocolates, flowers and letters at valentine days.

-Is literally a mix of Elsa from Frozen, Marinette Dupain Cheng and Chloe Bourgeois from Miraculous Ladybug. Loves France and parisian lifestyle, and dreams to go back and live there again as it fits her standards perfectly bc of the amazing cafes, cuisines and beautiful architecture. Goes there during holidays on her own.

-She adores violets and orange blossom flowers so she wears them as the main notes in her perfumes and potpourri which she always has it made in her bedroom for her smell them. Has a very detailed bath and skincare routine with products specially made for only, her scared beauty secret that she can tell no one bc she always wants to look her best as a lady. Is known to leave the room smelling like spring.

-She's a bit of a daddy's girl since she was a child in fear of being kicked out when Ivonne was found safe and sound so she constantly acted wonderful and affectionate to manipulate and win the Duke's heart which turned out to have worked too well. She's the most talented member of the family so the Duke pays more to her than his sons and Ivonne.

-When Penny is around everyone she's graceful, sophisticated and glamorous but when she's around the Duke she's lovely like a doe, angelic and so adoring with shiny eyes that the Duke can't help but do anything for her and hang several pictures of her around his office while not so subtly bark at his own sons like soldiers.

-Callisto is the royal prince of Ioka and is the biggest, hottest guy in school but everyone is scared of him bc he grew up as a bully until he met Penelope. He's the captain of the football team and the best jock with a tense relationship between his step brother who is equally popular but only because he is that spoilt rich kid, so the whole school is divided into two factions; Callisto's team and his brother's team.

-His mother is the Queen of Ioka, trying to kill him by sending hitmen or poisoning him so Callisto is a pretty good fighter--mostly a fist fighter or a knife fighter so you can imagine how hot he is, all roughed up with bleeding nose and a fiery smirk.

-Everyone drools over Penelope but ofc are afraid to look at her bc Callisto is super possessive and easily jealous of anyone being around her, constantly around her like a ghost despite her repetitively turning him down. Everyone still thinks the two are the iconic power sweetheart couple that everyone strives to be like and admires.

-You bet there are bully girls who hate Penelope like Kellin and her side kick Dorothea who are super jealous of her and tried to bully her in middle school, only for Penny to grow more popular. Penny used to do fencing too so the losers are too scared to fight her except bark from a distance.

-Penny just rolls her eyes at them and casually says something to embarrass them in front of the whole school, and send them running away with red faces. Kellin and Dorothea are definitely those mean girls whose boyfriends end up having a crush on Penny anyway.

-The Eckarts are a royal elite wealthy family and the children attend a famous high school. Derrick is the heiress so he is a top student along with Penelope, working hard to graduate and take over his father's place. Reynold is a jock and part of the football team like Callisto, and they're both super popular for their handsome and princely looks.

-Ivonne is actually a 'stubborn but cute, good girl' and a 'younger twin-sisterly' type of girl who is kind of weak and super empathetic yet has very strong enthusiasm. She loves animals and children so she volunteers to work at shelters and orphanages with Vinter who she is great friends with.

-She likes to take care of the garden that her mother who passed away in the past grew, which was precious to her since it was the only thing left of her mother. Also loves to watch Disney, Pixar and Netflix Disney live action films bc she likes lovey dovey things like fairy tales no matter how painfully cliche they are as they're so dreamy to her.

-Even though she's super rich, she likes to wear just casual and simple clothes because she wants to look normal and fit in with the crowd, just so they won't feel intimidated by her. Like overalls over t-shirts or sweaters and shorts with sneakers.

-Ivonne and Penelope have a really good relationship; Ivonne admires Penelope as her cool and admirable sister while Penelope is protective of her, constantly concerned for her since Ivonne is clumsy and can hardly protect herself despite having a chihuahua-level scary bark that could scare anyone off.

-Derrick is brotherly to Ivonne, making sure she's happy and providing her with everything while he has a strained relationship and a big crush on Penelope ever since they were children. He never shows it since he's in denial that he likes her and just acts indifferent when she treats him like a stranger in private until one day she said she was moving to France to go to a different school best for her.

-He mans up and makes a rough decision to at least look at her as his sister at the moment so he could tell her not to go at the last minute, using the pathetic excuse saying their reputation would fall out of interest if she wasn't here and she shouldn't go to live by her own as an 'underage' girl. He definitely looks at step sister porn, this derdick.

-Penny thinks he hates her but he actually really admires her like everyone else and wants to be close to her by her side that he gets jealous and sullen when she's with someone else and showing more liking to them, and he can't be affectionate with her as he wants to bc she pushes him away coldly so he spitefully turns to Ivonne 'since she's his only sister' but always goes back to her at the end.

-Reynold is teasing and tsundere yet caring and brotherly to Ivonne and Penelope. Only except he feels jealous and left out when it comes to Penny who he also has a strained relationship with ever since he treated her cruely, which he dwells on and thinks he should have treated her nicely as his sister anyway even if Ivonne were to never return back home.

-He's the one trying to act like they don't have tensions between them to desperately make them seem like they were good siblings, because he wants to and doesn't like that she has so many friends and hardly has any time to talk to him, feeling like she's slowly dragging away and he has no rights to ask why she never spends much time with him.

-When she is about to move to France, he panics while trying to figure out what to do and ends up stammering while forcing himself to swallow his pride and asking her not to go. He has the audacity to wish that Penny would drop what happened at the start and just forgive him so they would get along. At least he thinks better when it comes to Penny than Derdick creep.

-Penny gets confused a lot as to why he and Derrick do anything to show they care about her but she doesn't want to be looked down on again so she continues to treat them like they're strangers to her and ignores them bc she still hates for how they treated her back then.

-Both Reynold and Derdick regret being mean to Penelope, and try to make up for it while the Duke and Ivonne are disappointed, deadpanning at the two. Ivonne is the one always on Penelope's side and backs her up whenever Penelope argues with the two idiots because she thinks they're both idiots too.

-Vinter is an already graduated student and works at a orphanage that he made himself, and secretly looks after illegal children bc he cares so much about them. He's also from a royal wealthy family, and has a talent of doing magic tricks which he does for the orphanage children at their birthdays and has a cute white bunny as a pet that he takes with him from home.

-He looks at Ivonne as a little sister and has a crush on Penelope when he first met her, after Ivonne brought her here for a school project Penny needed to do. He falls more in love with her, even though she constantly treats him coldly bc the way he speaks to her annoys the hell out of her and thinks he's a strange silly man, but he thinks she's so beautifully pitiful at the amount of stress she does through everyday due to the pressure of being a superstar which he could see everytime he sees her.

-He feels bad that he can't help her because he's always blocked by everyone around her and she doesn't have any time to talk to him with her busy life so he does a favour by leaving her alone.

-Iklies is an immigrant boy (originally a prince) rescued from an illegal black market but made a reputation of being a really good fighter so the Duke hired him to be part of the private military police that he owned, becomes a security guard before beings friends with everyone. On the way he gets a crush on Penny who he feels so sorry for.

-Penny doesn't mind him but she often cooes over him (bc u know, he looks like a puppy) and plays with his hair a lot during his breaks since she can't stop feeling the fluffiness of it. Iklies is also the only one who she can talk to truthfully unlike her friends so they like to chat together in private out of eyes about everything, since they both feel sorry for each other.

-When Penelope graduates, she becomes a socialite leader of the women's society group of their town that she formed to do good things like donating charity and volunteers while studying at university. She kinda got depressed after graduating so she keeps herself busy like this.

-Ivonne loves the new group she made and is one of her follower, participating in the activities as well so Penelope gives her a particular role as her vice president and through this, Vinter with his orphanage gets connected with Penelope's group so he and Penny get close together as well with Vinter gladly doing so even though Penny doesn't want to but Ivonne insists on choosing his orphanage in particular for one charity project.

-Callisto still sticks around Penelope, trying to get her to date him or form a relationship. She still doesn't find any interest in him and is busy continuing on modeling, going to meetings for her group and going to special places with her father as the memorable member of the Eckarts, which thankfully helps her to have less time to see him around.

-Callisto is annoyed on top of his problem with his brother who is on the verge of turning into an adult and be crowned as the King. He's pretty busy as well, getting ready to be a king himself while constantly having assassins up his ass and after him and trying to pick off hungry men off his pretty lady.

-A few years later when Penelope finishes university and finally gets to go to France to work at a museum as a special job offer there that was sent to her, she leaves the women society group to Ivonne to make her the leader. Duke, Derrick and Reynold are hesitant to let her go but they do at the end since she's an adult with her own decision.

-Meanwhile Callisto decides to drop being the prince and follows her to France much to Penelope's annoyance. Iklies does as well to be her guard bc he doesn't want to be far from her and he lowkey is yandere and childish to keep her to himself only.

-Ivonne starts questioning if she could ever find a lover like a princess in a fairy tale like Penelope since she for all her life she was the one being overshadowed by Penelope and not really getting any attention as much as her, and she secretly had a crush on Callisto but never confessed because he loved Penelope like everyone else which was fine with her.

-But she ends up single as most of the time it's always creeps that try to flirt with her and she gives up on the idea of finding love like her sister, wishing she could scare them off with one glare like Penny.

-Someday in the future the Callisto wins and takes over the throne as well, kicking his brother and mother out of the emperor who did something good for once by making him be the king instead as he was more suitable so there is a large crowning ceremony that everyone in Ioka attends.

-Duke finally retires and Derrick becomes the next Duke. Penelope would come back home after so long to attend the celebration for the Duke only, who says he wishes that she came home more often with a lonely look. Penny would feel awkwardly guilty and ask him to come to France with her since he was retired and live there with her at Paris to make up for it.

-Penny also finally agrees to get into a relationship with Callisto as well after almost 7 years so the news of the duchess of Eckart and the prince of Ioka getting into a relationship goes viral and they become the most popular couple in the world. Poor Iklies but he grows up to understand over the years with respect, a much happier ending for him.

-Reynold is in disbelief, thinking she's crazy and Derrick gets jealous that she's with someone else and tries to tell her not to be with Callisto which she finds him hilarious and gross for liking her but she demands him to make up his mind about her before she cuts him out of her life so he ends up making the full decision to view her as his sister and apologizes.

-Penny is still busy being a girlfriend to a clingy boyfriend, working as an archeologist, traveling, going to special events and dinners, looking after her father, going to interviews and modeling. It's tiring until she and Callisto get married with the most biggest wonderful wedding like princess Diana and Prince Charles's wedding, then they have Judith.

-Cue Reynold dying inside and the Duke crying angrily at how Judith resembles Callisto more. But I could imagine Penny and Callisto having another girl and one boy but they have Penelope's looks, which the Duke and Reynold would probably appreciate better although it would be strange for Derrick. They would still both treat all three children nicely though.

-The Duke would pick on a hobby gardening and babysitting the children for her in the quiet countryside of france. Ivonne, Vinter and Iklies would love to baby sit the children too, as everyone treats them so wonderfully. Judith would become the Queen while Penny's second daughter or son would become the heiress of the Eckarts next.

Okay, semi-serious question! What would each member of Miss Bustier's class in the Scarlet!AU, including Lila, dress up as for Halloween?

Well I think my ideas would probably apply to canon. And obviously I know France doesn’t really do Halloween (at least not how America does), so we’re gonna just retcon reality and pretend Halloween is a common thing to these kids, so basically:

Marinette: A character costume. From a cartoon or movie or game, whatever it is she’s handmaking and handstyling all of it and is scouring the internet to make sure every detail is 100% canon accurate. Every year she tries to outdo herself by getting more and more intricate characters. Year 1 - Princess Peach Paper Mario version. Year 5 - Princess Peach Smash Bros verison.

Adrien: It’s the first year he gets to participate and it’s not some bougie adult wine drinking party, so he either goes for a visual pun (sticking a bunch of beige paint swatches to himself to be 50 Shades of Grey) or goes super basic royalty free costume, like A Vampire or A Devil. If he has a partner he’d totally go couples costumes, but who decides the costumes depends on the partner. (Marinette would totally bow to his whims but Kagami would reel him in)

Alya: She’s been in different store bought Majestia costumes since she was old enough to call the shots. Only this year is she going for Hometown Heroes, but she’s completely caught between who to choose - Ladybug because obviously, or Carapace because her boyfriend, or Rena Rouge because it’s hilarious?! So many options!!!

Nino: He’s never gotten super into it but keeps it alive for Chris. Typically he’ll pull together a “closet costume”, like pulling out the plaid button up and sticking some straw out of the pockets to be a scarecrow. Going to parties with Alya makes him want to try a little harder this year so he’ll probably actually buy a full costume this year to go with whatever she decides to be (”Wait, you’re gonna dress as me this year?!”)

Canon Chloe: She’s worn her Ladybug costume a few too many times in public, so she’ll probably go for Queen Bee but with a twist - like a full ballgown princess but Queen Bee themed. It’s super expensive decorated with real rhinestones, as are all the costumes she’s had in the past because she’s in a personal competition with Marinette. It kills her that Marinette always gets way more compliments on her costumes.

SL Chloe: Same as above but Scarlet Lady themed. She’s at least smart enough to forgo the mask and demands pockets to shove Tikki into.

Canon Sabrina: In order to match Chloe but not outshine her, Sabrina is ordered to be a bee (to be Queen Bee’s “Pollen”, though Sabrina doesn’t know what that means). She’s an adorabee and her outfit is also pretty expensive because it was commissioned by Chloe, but that also means Sabrina got zero input on it.

SL Sabrina: It’s the first time Sabrina hasn’t relied on Chloe to “make” her costume (or rather DECIDE her costume) and all the independence has Sabrina scrambling a bit. In the end, by borrowing some of her dad’s old things, she dresses as a Cutie Cop complete with a too big hat and handcuffs she has to SWEAR not to use.

Max: With some carefully painted cardboard and foam, he’s one of the bots from UMS III. Despite the crudeness of the costume, it is also meticulously model accurate, and also very difficult to move in.

Kim: 100% one of those inflatable T Rex costumes.

Alix: She’d probably wear her regular clothes but invest in a high quality wolf mask and hands and sneak up on people all night.

Nathaniel: He’d have to prepare months in advance but he’d show up as Super Nathan. He skips on the face paint but considering it’s his OC and he still draws it in his comic, I think he’s not emotionally tainted by being an akuma and it’s own little “Fuck You” to Hawkmoth. Plus it makes Chloe stay 10000 miles away from him.

Mylene: Mylene walks into a costume shop with no plan, wanting to be taken in by how a costume looks and feels on her. Because of that she has an eclectic background and no one ever knows what she’s going to come as. Last year she was a racoon because the costume dress had ears on the hoodie, but maybe this year she comes as a Mad Hatter because the costume came with a lot of pieces. Who knows?!

Ivan: He knows he’s going to avoid anything with a mask if he wants his girlfriend to come near him. That does knock off a lot of his favorite horror characters, so he goes an Adrien route and shows up as A Ninja. Yep. Definitely not a video game character, noooo, this is TOTALLY just A Ninja. Uhuh.

Rose: Unicorn Princess. With wings. And a tiara. And A wand. And a tail. And rainbow chalk in her hair. And stickers.

Juleka: She’s a witch, but not a store bought cute short skirt one. Like a voodoo hag that dragged herself out of the swamp to curse mankind. She’s basically one every year so she just adds onto her costume and every year her witch costume just increases in collectables. Vials around her waist and a fake crow on her hat, a spell book appeared one year, and spider webs draped over her shoulders. Uh, are you sure that’s just a costume Juleka?

Canon Lila: She doesn’t care much about the actual costume but takes a lot of care making sure it’s juuuuuust towing the line between cute and sexy. It needs to be attention getting but not bad attention. She goes for slightly childish characters, like Little Red Riding Hood, so she can get away with saying she thought it was “just adorable!” when she knows it’s showing her off. If I wanted her to be even cheekier, I’d have her find a “Sexy” Rena Rouge costume that’s pretty much Rena Rouge but in a skirt, and watch Alya convulse.

SL Lila: Drop the act and just admit she likes feeling sexy. Her friends help her find costumes that are age appropriate but scratch that itch and Lila puts more thought into the actual character. She gets a new appreciation for merging horror with pretty stuff - like a Zombie Cheerleader or Elsa but with ice coming out of her skin. It also lets her stretch her makeup skills.

okay, i love fragrance. it’s one of my top things to talk about, so, i decided to do a post explaining what perfumes i think some cyberpunk characters would wear ! i hope you enjoy lmao most of these are pretty mainstream because i do what i want. i had so much fun with this and let me know if you wanna see more :))

Judy Alvarez: Not a Perfume Superdose by Juliette has a Gun

It’s clean. There’s one singular note in this perfume. Ambroxan. It’s not super powerful, it dries down to smell like your skin but better. It’s unique. Judy likes it because of that. It’s not something offensive to her nose, nor does it bother her throughout the day. She goes for the superdose version because it’s a bit stronger than the original. Not to mention, V absolutely loves it.

Jackie Welles: Sauvage by Dior

It’s a bit basic. But you can’t ever really go wrong with it. It’s fresh, it’s spicy, it’s woody. With notes of bergamot, three types of pepper, lavender, vetiver, and cedar. It’s complex yet so so good just like Jackie. Misty is such a huge fan

Panam Palmer: Chloe Nomade

Is the name a little too on the nose? Maybe. But the scent itself is anything but basic. It’s a woody fragrance that screams I’m anything but a goody two shoes. It’s for the people that like to rebel, walk their own path. With notes of mirabelle, lemon, peach, jasmine, white musk, oakmoss, and amberwood. Panam lives in this scent.

Johnny Silverhand: Tobacco Vanille by Tom Ford

It’s bougie as hell, maybe a little predictable for Johnny fucking Silverhand, but it’s not like he cares. The name of this fragrance gives it away, it’s sweet with notes of vanilla, tobacco, tonka bean, and cocao. Rouge swears that she can still smell it when they go to the drive in.

River Ward: 1 Million by Paco Rabanne

To me, this fragrance just kind of seems like something River would be so into. He’d tell everyone about it, like hey, smell my new cologne(it’s not cologne tho) and some people will love it and some won’t. It’s spicy, leathery, citrusy. With notes of cinnamon, rose, leather, amber, and patchouli.

Evelyn Parker: Love, Don’t be Shy by Killian

It’s sweet, it’s sexy, it’s bold. Not for the faint of heart. This perfume is a sweet white floral. With notes of neroli, coriander, orange blossom, jasmine, caramel, and vanilla. It falls in the niche category, which means the price tag is out of the world and Evelyn will keep dropping those eddies for it.

Kerry Eurodyne: Bleu de Chanel by Chanel

It’s Chanel. What can I say? Kerry lives for the iconic brands and Chanel is definitely that. It’s woody yet citrusy with notes of grapefruit, mint, jasmine, cedar, sandalwood, and white musk. It’s aromatic and the projection is there. Kerry likes everyone to know he’s wearing the good and he is.

i have been working on concepts for a miraculous/ouran host club crossover but there are. too many?? like there's "something something hitachiin twins follow marinette's fashion blog something something" but the one i like most is

marinette wins some sort of fashion design contest which gets her a free trip to japan to do.... either a short internship that ends with a fashion show, or a continuation of the contest which also ends in a fashion show. both gabriel and adrien are involved as a sponsoring big name designer + a model. ALSO if we want more people involved, chloe has demanded her dad send her to audrey in Japan bc she's jealous of marinette, and also kagami is there either bc gabriel invited tomoe bc they're friends, or she's just there visiting family. so those are the players on the miraculous side

the parameters of the contest are such that either finalist is sponsored by a specific big-name designer/brand, and marinette was not picked by gabriel. she's there under the sponsorship/mentorship of the hitachiin twin's mom

BUT marinette does NOT meet the host club via the hitachiin's mom. she meets them because she's wandered off to stalk adrien look around and gets lost and ends up in some sort of high-end bakery that the whole host club is at so honey-sempai can try

idk why she STARTS talking to them but she gives a super in-depth and bougie sounding review of the bakery goods and when asked about her life she happens to drop some VERY famous names in like Jagged Stone and the Agrestes and her friend the Tsurugi heir--

Like Marinette thinks she's just saying normal things to her new friends, so she's like "my friend Kagami is with me and said she'd show me around, but she had to stay back for fencing practicing so I'm on my own--" and then she tells a funny story about doing the exact same thing went she went to go see her friend Adrien in Shanghai, and Kyouya has connected all of the dots about who Marinette's apparent close friends are and is like EYES EMOJI

and also she mentions things, like. She has a view of the Notre Dame form her bedroom?? and she has been to all the bougie Parisian places Tamaki blabbers about, either as Ladybug or as a catering gig or just because she does have a few incredibly wealthy friends in her life (and also part of it is like-- most people just think anything Paris-related in automatically really fancy)

the whole interaction is very nice and the host club invites her to come visit so after it's all over, she texts Kagami and is like "i am lost but i met these nice people, do you want to go to whatever a host club is with me" and Kagami is like: what.

Kagami: Marinette, no offense but they only invited you because they think you're one of them. Marinette: ?? Kagami: They think you're a rich bitch, Marinette.

This turns into a horrible My Fair Lady Situation with Adrien, Chloe, and Kagami all trying to give her advice for existing in high society but none of them agree.

Chloe: You're Parisian, Dupain-Cheng! If they can't speak French, that's their problem. Adrien: No, no, no, it's always better to speak the local language. I'm sure Kagami can teach you-- Kagami: Your English is fine. Marinette, panicked: But do I have to know which fork is which??

(montage of Chloe trying to force Marinette to ignore waitstaff while Adrien is like NO!! BE KIND and Kagami is like NO WAITSTAFF tell them you have a self-driving car)

what i want this to turn into is Marinette realizing the Hitachiin twins are kind of mean about their mom babysitting "a peasant" for the duration of the contest and feeling pressured to go to her internship/design contest/whatever she gets to do in Japan in a ridiculous costume/disguise while also going to hang out with her new local friends as Marinette, and also Hawkmoth is around akumatizing people so Ladybug makes an appearance

....and somehow Haruhi finds out about all three identities and is like. Girl I thought I was leading a double life
