Boy, I wished! I'm supportive of a Moriel mating bond.

Azriel and Mor being mates would be a good chance to redeem the whole 500+ pinning fiasco + his animosity with eris + he accepting Mor’s subtended rejection but not being able to stop pinning for her + if Azriel ends up with a pretty little lady, who also happens to be mated to another, it would eliminate the whole “oh, but what if his mate comes?!” narrative after he found love in the arms of his lady. From a fanfiction writer’s pov, aka me lol, it would be a nice way to tie lose ends with a pretty ribbon.

But, knowing sjm style, I think she is more incline to go down the Eris+Mor mates, or Elriel second/real bond, or use the concept of “there are many types of bonds” she’s been applying on CC.

Apart from Mor, the only person who Azriel has demonstrated romantic feelings for is obviously Cassian. Looool, jk. Or am I?

such. an. underrated relationship. ik people love to talk about the lines where she bullies him for his hair but i love this crumbs on cleavage line AND the fact that kaz truly is impressed by her skills not as a grisha, but as a performer>>> danielle galligan mentioned she used that last sentence to characterize her own performance as nina which i also love.

“‘Of course every time [the mark] pats his back pocket or the front of his coat, what is he doing? He’s telling every thief on the Stave exactly where he keeps his scrub.’

i adore her honesty and sass and everything about her honestly

i LOVE this because nina from matthias’ pov is always the best and this quote says as much about him as it does about her. get yourself a girl who will change your mind from its deadset ways that you’ve been brainwashed into since birth.

“Matthias was already up, seeing to their weapons. Nina stretched and yawned, adding a little arch to her back, pleased at the way his gaze darted over her figure before guiltily jumping back to the rifle he was loading. Gratifying. She’d practically thrown herself at him the other day. If Matthias didn’t want to take advantage of the offer, she could make damn sure he regretted it.”

i’ve read this book over ten times and just made solid eye contact with this line. i heard people spell girlboss like nina zenik. i also heard people were right.

As the oldest Zoldyck Member you was suppose to set an example for the ones younger then you. After all how hard could it be for an older sister to train the siblings to meet the proper requirements to be a top tier assassin.

Well it was and you was always looking forward to going on long missions. Sometimes with the second oldest of the Family, Illumi Zoldyck who was more closer to you and more open at least with you.

Once you started going on missions with Him it was there you met Chrollo Lucilfer who hired Illumi at one point and Illumi asked you to join him

From that point on you took on missions before Illumi could come back in order to finish it early and visit a certain Spider Leader.

He introduced you to his troupes at one point and they all like you. Of course you still had to see him privately in two places a fancy secluded Hotel or your favorite bookstore that had a nice little cafe part or it.

You was happy be in his arms as he read to you or told you a story off the top of his head. Or the times where you decided to help him steal a book. Which you almost got caught because you both decided it was a smart idea to have a heat makeout session.

Sometimes you had to ditch Illumi since he liked to secretly follow you. But you also knew how to avoid him and once he lost track of you, you headed for the hideout

"I see you lost him" he asked look up at you smiling. "Yes father will not be pleased seeing me here or with you of all people, but you know better then to cross me" you would say playfully but Chrollo knew you was serious.

"Come lets go to our spot" he stood up and takes your hand in his giving it a gentle kiss before walking with you towards Reading Café.

Ordering you both drinks and a slice of your favorite cake. Chrollo would feed you some smiling while you do the same giggling. This was by far the best things to do on your spare time and you plan on keeping it that way.

Needless to say both Chrollo and Y/n was unaware of a certain assassin and magician watching from the building across.

"She shouldn't be with him." Illumi complained frowning at this sight. "Hmm my dear Illu you shouldn't be with me either yet here you are~♡"

Illumi looks away "thats different" he counters. He felt a kiss on his cheek and he glares at Hisoka "keep telling yourself that Illu~♥︎"

This book has 4 different visitors to the coffee shop.

THE LOVERS - where a woman named Fumiko travels back in time to confront her boyfriend Goro who left her.

HUSBAND AND WIFE- a wife who wants a letter from her husband who now has Alzheimer's.

THE SISTERS- a woman who wants to see her sister again.

MOTHER AND CHILD- a mother who wishes to see her daughter that she didn't get the chance to know

The one I love the most is the story of Kohtake and Fusagi 🥹🫶 their story made me sob.

Not even mentioning the aesthetic of the book . It's set in a coffee shop in tokyo that I wish I could visit in real life. The element of this book just blew me away🥹🫶

Down to the volume 2 of this series!
