Before officially bringing Bowser back in my art, I felt like revisiting the body swap concept I had shared sometime last year. Switching two contrasting characters' personalities is always a fascinating exercise for me, and I couldn't pass up the opportunity to draw 'Evil Mario' again! 👀

I wasn't quick enough to make anything for NPMD release on YT but at least I've finished this thingy right before another big date

So I had the fantastic opportunity to commission @fadedjacket for a piece of the best ot3 out there and! You guys! I am screaming! I have been giddy with excitement to show off this baby each time I saw a wip. It has been amazing to see it come together and I cannot thank you enough Lou! A companion piece to this concept I posted a while back. I really wanted to show the other side of the coin to complete the idea and give you all a glimpse of Bowser’s true nature in my version. He is Mario’s antithesis in every way, meaning that he will be portrayed as truly and deeply evil. 🙇‍♀️

The ending credits of the movie was the only noise in the room, accompanied by the little noises Anetra was making, mostly asleep already, face buried in the crook of Marcia’s neck. Marcia shifted, just enough to card her fingers through Anetra’s hair.

“Hey, sleeping beauty, I need to get up, okay?”

Anetra just whined wordlessly and pressed her body closer to Marcia’s. Marcia huffed out a quiet laugh and ghosted a kiss on the top of Anetra’s head.

“I have tap class at 9:30, I need to be well rested,” she murmured.
