Quest with an artist Mc

bc i cant stop thinking ab himb....

i wrote this very impulsively so. yeah. theres a bit of horny towards the end, but theres also fluffy sweet things

• he learns of you being an artist when you find the time to create bloomic fanart.

• and you got endless showers of praise from him on how good it was (especially if the fanart included Xander)

• he just thinks its so neat. his artistic expression of choice is poetry, so he's not much of an artist when it comes to drawing.

• he can draw some basic flowers, but thats where his talents end.

• no matter your usual art media, buy gold (body safe) paint and paint his scars. kind of like how you paint the cracks of repaired pottery and such? except make it a vulnerable bonding experience.

• he has many scars all around his body from past accidents and gang related violence.

• i feel like he gets really insecure about them sometimes and worries theyll make you think too much about his past

• but seeing you turn them into something golden and beautiful with such ease and affection... gives him a new appreciation for those parts of him.

• he loves it even more when you connect nearby scars like intricate rivers of gold flowing across his body.

• make sure you fill the comfortable silence with lovely soft words of affirmation and kisses every now and then for the best results.

• absolutely call him your golden boy.

• the only issue is that he feels really bad for having to eventually wash them off.

• so take pictures and send them to him for just you two to hold onto ;)

• despite feeling bad about washing them off, he always feels so much better about his scars and body.

• and let him know this is exactly how you see his scars <3

• i feel like during times when you're not able to paint on him because of a late shift or something, he just looks back at the pictures and replays the soft memories for comfort.

• this is more towards the beginning of your relationship with him, when his insecurities about his past bothering you were the worst

• moving on from that, he is the perfect man to reference.

• he would find it so very funny if you ever complained about parts of him that are hard to draw.

• i could imagine just sitting there watching him work out and just... drawing the way his muscles flex and the way his body bends... dear lord those thighs...

• when you first did this, he immediately noticed. he didnt quite have the courage to ask if you were drawing him (after all, forms of art are very personal things)

• but when he sees you're staring at the sketchbook page more than him, he decides to take a break and ask you.

• not because he's getting jealous of the notebook. hes not a jealous person. the curiosity just takes over because the stares mean you're stuck on smthn or you're finished.

• and boy is he beyond flattered. flustered even.

• he's never really... thought much about himself. physically and mentally. so the fact that he's worth being sketched touches his very soul.

• if you're the type of artist who loves gushing over defined shapes and begin to ramble about the shapes that you love about him, his cheeks will be red and he will patiently listen to every word you have to say.

• as weird as it is to listen to someone describe his physical features with such passion, there's something special about the way you talk about it.

• especially if you suddenly realize what you're saying and get flustered.

• he likes feeling like art when its you. he loves the way you map out his body and turn the shapes of him into strokes of graphite poetry.

• .... he wouldnt mind if you drew him suggestively as well... so long as its for your eyes and his eyes only...

• of course there would be teasing about just how much you seem to adore his body, but never in a way that deters you from sketching him more.

• which, knowing Quest, his teasing quickly veers into horny territory. at the very least deep kisses.

• he says he just want to "give you more inspiration" and that "its his job as your muse"

• he definitely develops a fixation on your hands specifically. the way your hands trace his body delicately as if trying to memorize every line of him while making out with him on his lap.

• it absolutely drives him insane.

• the way his large hands encircle your wrist while his fingers press on your palms in bed. or when his fingers tangle with yours. and he can see you looking at it. memorizing every moment of it. of him. of the emotions tied to the image.

• that part he loves the most about your art. the pure emotion of it captured so perfectly

• oh yeah it definitely awakens something in him. especially if he finds you sketching those the next day peacfully at your desk.

• honestly i think you being an artist just changes the way he sees things. in the best of ways.

• he also finds himself massaging your hands absent mindedly while cuddling. and softly kissing them... they work so hard and he wants to take care of them for you.

• he is just so very happy to be your favorite muse.

XYX HEADCANONS

i have recently joined the bloomic discord and talked abt xyx, with,,, so many people and here r my headcanons, there are,,, a Lot of them and they are so so so fluffy i promise

OKAY SO FIRST OF ALL - he has such a thing for petnames, and will Melt if u reciprocate

absolute pro at not being able to take what he can dish out, dont fret though, he absolutely builds a tolerance

ironically uses terrible pet-names in public, if you use some on him he Will make it a competition and he Will win ("snookums here wants a refund on this." "yes sorry, mcdreamy here said it didn't look good on me" "oh schmoopy , how you wound me i did not sa that")

xyx is such a people-pleaser, so he Knows what you like and what you don't, he'll keep an eye on your expressions subtly ("hey babe why is there so much snack you really like in our pantry?" "it was on sale!")

he will Spoil you, he's not the type to spend a lot of money on himself but on You?? oh you better watch out

still careful with his money but if you're eyeing that bag, or pair of shoes, or poster, he will buy it for you.

even if you off-handedly comment wanting something, expect it in your arms Soon ("i saw this really cool poster at the mall today?" "oh really? what did it look like doll?" "it was like, of my favourite character holding their love interest" "oh thats very cool" schemes)

will absolutely do the evil villain chair in dark thing with Cat if you come home late ("i've been,, expecting you" "babe its 1 am what are you doing up?")

he knows your favourite drink, exactly how you like it, and it tastes perfect everytime. YOU NEVER TOLD HIM EITHER, he just had you try a buncha things and watched your reactions ("hey love, im trying out a new recipe, wanna try?" "of course!")

dont think about it but seeing him playing with cat, watching the muscles in his arm flex??? him Noticing you noticing and flexing a lil harder, before going all out, Cat meowing indignantly over his bicep???

stop thinking about xyx coming home from work, seeing you and Cat cuddling on the couch?? being so in love that he scored someone as amazing as you?? he is just, so so so, in love with you at the moment?? that he just, comes over, picking u both up and twirlin you around. Cat immediately, outraged bats him the face but he doesn't notice because you're giggling so hard rn

if he's meeting your parents??? ohhh be prepared, he is such a smooth talker and hes Proud. He comes in, nicest most neutral cologne, nice powersuit, a subtle chain necklace with your initial???

he is All smooth talk, keepin an eye out for any cues of like or dislike on topics, always complimenting whoever cooked

when getting to the Interrogation? oh he's Ready ("so what do you do for a living" "oh well i work as a lawyer, it makes me elated to be able to provide for mc like i can" "nice, nice" *visibly impressed*)

the car ride home after??? oh he is Menace, he is all grins, puffin out his chest like a bird ("doll they loOoooveee me" "did you see that? arent you proud love?") you're gonna have to keep saying yes but its okayyy because you're both sickeningly in love with eachother

him being hella cheesy, tellin u one day ("hey doll, i bet i can hold the entire universe in my hands" "what??") and immediately cupping your face??? pulling you into a soft kiss??

you keeping that in ur mind,,, ready to strike back?? sitting on the couch with him laying between them, cheek pressed into your thigh as you both play with Cat? when Cat leaves, leaning down and cupping his face in your hands??? ("you are so gorgeous babe") and he goes Red (mc - 1 / xyx - 4million), his breath Stops.

leaning down to kiss him??? catching him even more off-guard?? absolute knock-out. he tries so hard to play it off ("ill never be as gorgeous as you doll") but being sooo off his game? so caught off guard??

a sunshower happening, cue you, dancing in the rain like a madman??? him coming over and seeing you?? glad u cant see him because he is Positive he looks so sappy rn. eventually meeting his eye?? running up to him and grabbing him by the hand?? leading him into the rain?? he immediately takes over the dance, spinnin and twirlin you around.

pulling you into his arms?? arms resting on your hips as you grab him by the face?? pulling him into a kiss???? laughter breaking out between you two, as he peppers your face in kisses??

doing research on filipino wedding customs, finding out that you traditionally ask the parents for their blessing

ASKING XYX'S PARENTS FOR THEIR BLESSING?? going over to their house for a dinner plan, getting him distracted and asking his parents for their blessing??? planning the wedding with them??? burning the unity candle?? the rice toss?? the money dance???

at the altar, can't even get though the first line of his vows before he cries ( "and i, xyx tak-" *literally sobbing*)

DOING HARANA FOR HIM??? getting all the members of the bloomic server to participate, as you sing his praises? good at singing or not he is so choked up in giggly, hands over face ugly bawling

lighting the unity candle with him is a whole ordeal, neither of you can stay still long enough to keep the flame steady, almost lighting the tablecloth on fire

him holding you as close as you can fit against him?? teary eyed all over again because wow, he cant believe that you really wanted to marry him??

post first dance, as the night wanes, hiding behind the couples table, on the floor, in his arms??? as he feeds u mango sticky rice and vice versa???

sayin sum cheesy shit like ("oops i missed a spot, hold still love") before leaning in for a kiss??? not realizing the photographer AND videograper saw this and got it all in 4k??

Ngl. he doesn’t really exactly know what to do at first, but he eventually figures out what’s up.

But he’ll ask you what you need him to do, or if you want him to do anything.

He knows that you get a lot of dysphoria from it, and he tries to be as comforting as they can

Assures you that it doesn’t make you any less of a man, and you're still a man regardless. You'll always be his wonderful boyfriend, and he’ll be here for you.

He makes it a point to use lots of affirming language to help comfort you about your dysphoria

Calling you things like ‘my handsome boy’ ‘man’ ‘dude’, etc, etc.

When you’re cuddling, he’ll try and make sure to avoid touching spots that you're dysphoric about because he doesn’t wanna make you uncomfortable.

But he always offers to cuddle at night if you’re having cramps

They’ll hold you close, with his hands over your stomach in some sort of attempt to ease the pain.

He’ll probably go out to the store and buy you anything and everything you need

We all know he loves to spoil you.

But during your period? Oh he pampers you. Like A LOT.

He knows you're a bit more sensitive/vulnerable during this time, and he knows how bad your dysphoria can get too during this time, too.

Orders food that he knows you like and/or find comforting. Hes not too confident in his cooking, so he just orders.

Does anything you ask, and it is always there at your call.

Makes sure you have everything you need. Comfy clothes, heating pads, water, snacks, all that.

If it's REALLY bad, they’ll even see if they can stay and work from home just to stay there with you.

The thought that it’s digging into his raid hours crosses his mind, but his boyfriend is more important.

He probably does some research into how to help, and things that could be gender affirming for you, etc.

Makes you tea

He's just generally really understanding and supportive with you. He hates seeing you hurting and dysphoric, so he just wants to help.

They knew beforehand you were short, of course

They had kinda expected it, not being used to anyone taller than them

That comes with the territory of being 6'4

But truth be told they thought you were exaggerating when you mentioned barely broke 5 foot, and that you weren't even sure if you did

You were not exaggerating

He almost laughed, almost

You literally came up to his shoulder, he almost missed you you were so short!

But aside from the occasional teasing comments on it, I imagine he probably wouldn't mention it much

He was used to everyone being shorter than him, so by how much wasn't a big deal

However

That height difference got abused by the both of you

You had something high-up you needed to grab? Oh toastyyy~

They drop something? "Well you're closest to the ground"

You need to kiss them? Well it's not your fault they're so tall, you practically have to pull them down by their shirt!

He was trying to hide a present from you? That shit's going on the highest shelf in the house

On the note of you pulling them down to kiss, or to just be face-to-face

You could be married to the guy and they would still get flustered over it

Especially if it's just to pepper kisses all around their face, or just hold their face close to yours while you talk

It's like their heart stops, it's horrible (please never stop)

If you like being carried he'll do his damndest

Like he said, he likes pampering his partners

If that means giving you little piggy back rides around the house or carrying you bridal-style to the bed, well

Neither one of you is complaining, are you?

He's never needed a ladder or stop-stool a day in his life but when he notices you struggling to reach things, he gets you one

For those times he can't just grab things for you for one reason or another, and besides, he doesn't want you to be dependent on him

One time he was kneeling to do something and

It was so weird seeing you from this angle and not breaking his back to do it

You two were almost eye level

He was still taller

When you're doing his hair

(Which is often, mind you, they love it when you do their hair)

They actually don't mind having to sit on the ground in front of the couch for you to do it

The pros outweigh the cons

Ultimately I don't think the height gap is very prominent in how you treat each other though

You tease him for being tall, he'll return the sentiment, and then you'll go about your day like normal, utilizing each others' heights for each others' benefits

And besides, you're not the one bending down, and he's super easy to fluster

So really, you win

A quick note coming from Fafi on what Thanksgiving is, for those of you that don't celebrate it :] Thanksgiving is a holiday primarily celebrated in the USA and Canada. Its a meal where you come together with most commonly family but can also include friends as well. Its a time to give thanks and come together. Every family will do it differently and have different traditions but that's the basic description of the holiday. Anyhow enjoy!

THANKSGIVING WITH THE WHOLE BLOOMING PANIC GANG HCS

sal and his wife happily host everyone at their house

you, quest, nightowl, toaster, biglady, june, and even xyx show up in person

and everyone thinks onion isn't coming because of his lack of enthusiasm in the chats about the whole thing, but he shows up and surprises everyone

unfortunately two2 couldn't make it (his mom wouldn't let him 💀) but he hops on a facetime with someone so he can say hi to everyone

xyx is probably wearing a christmas sweater and sunglasses when he inevitably rolls in late

sal and his wife cook a lovely thanksgiving dinner but everyone else brings something to add

when everything is said and done, sal and his wife made a big turkey (and also a vegetarian roast!!), cranberry sauce and stuffing, quest brought mashed potatoes, biglady brings green bean casserole, xyx buys dinner rolls at the store, nightowl brings cookies, and june bakes like 3 pies

you bring enough drinks for everyone; cider, champagne, etc.

everyone sits around salo's dinner table (which surprisingly has enough room for everyone, but not enough chairs so some of yall have folding chairs or lawn chairs)

someone probably says grace based off of onion's insistence

everyone digs in and banters throughout the meal, making the most of your time altogether

quest is probably really nervously polite the whole time

he also probably scolds nightowl's table manners, which they all call him old for

you talk about work, school, the plane rides, love lives, plans for the future, and ofc bloomic

sal tells everybody stories and you all listen intently and ask questions

you crack jokes and talk as if you'd known each other your whole lives, as if you'd never been separated by thousands of miles and computer screens

you're pretty sure you even saw onion smile

and when everyone leaves the table that night, heading back to hotels and such, they leave feeling full; both their stomachs and their hearts

“You mean the sheet?” They grin.

You groan heavily.

toasty x MC ffxiv HCs

i haven’t made a tumblr post in years but i’m gonna write some ffxiv-centric HCs about blooming panic (and specifically toasty) bc SOMEONE has to. end game ffxiv references ahoy

he mains ast in raids but can play nin almost as well. they like jobs with intense burst windows followed by some breathing room until the next minute window comes up. they started as a bard, tho

they regularly bunny themselves in the middle of limsa

they used to be a fanta addict, but they’ve stuck w male viera since it released.

if MC is new to ffxiv, they’ll play pld in for their first time in duties. if he sees them standing in an AOE or not doing a mech, he’ll put intervention on them so he can take the damage for them

if MC starts as a tank, he’ll instead make sure that MC never dies during pulls. they make sure you know how to rotate your mitigation during pulls and that you always feel comfortable wall to wall pulling. final pull of mt. gulg go brrrrrrr

hell, if MC starts as a dps they’ll do their best to learn the job themselves so MC can ask them questions about the proper rotation

once MC has their bearings, he’ll play ast w them and spoil them w card buffs. it gets to a point where they reflexively give MC the cards w/o even looking at who it’s meant for. if MC raids w them, they have to focus on not giving MC all the cards

first time MC does praetorium, toasty is there mimicking all the cutscenes while they happen. SUCH DEVASTATION WAS NOT MY INTENTION

as soon as MC finishes ARR, they solo some ARR extremes w them so you have some shiny horse mounts to ride around on

if MC already played ffxiv, once toasty calms down from their excitement, they try to see if MC would ever raid w them. couples who prog UCOB together stay together owo

they do their best to show that they love MC not bc they play ffxiv, but that it's just a fantastic side benefit

honestly they’re excited to have someone to do dailies w. whomst amongst us doesn’t have a semi-inactive FC between patches

during weekly raid reclear night, MC will randomly message them “you’re cute” to try and fluster him mid-pull. this frequently succeeds and toasty’s static teases them relentlessly about it

MC knows better than to distract toasty during raid prog (gotta work for the clear!!), but sometimes they sneak up on him from behind while they afk in limsa to hug him and kiss his cheek

they joke about getting matching in-game names so often that MC doesn’t know if it’s a joke or not anymore

between patches, they sometimes play other MMOs like guild wars or ESO between patches, but they always return back to ffxiv. xyx tries to get them to play runescape to no avail

they joke that they were the inspiration for hythlodaeus’s hair. MC will try to make them jealous by saying how pretty zenos’s hair is

every so often, they gift MC random glams or mounts from the mogstation. what’s that? MC appreciated a random glam set on someone in limsa? it’s their’s. god they’re pretty.

also they’d play on primal and i cannot be convinced otherwise

i haven’t played an otome game in years and i played this one bc i play ffxiv. truly incredible shit. u cowards need to add “flow” from ffxiv to all ur toasty playlists. or maybe the sephirot theme to mix it up. tyfp o7

Dating Nightowl (Blooming Panic HCs)

I want you to know that this man gets so happy when you buy snacks to share with him. Like his smile actually burns your eyes and his blush makes your heart swoon.

Cuddling 23/7 (Snack Breaks) because he is clingy af (affectionate)

Nightowl would probably take his s/o to meet his parents once, but he would stick by them with or without their approval (especially his mother’s)

A very devoted lover (not in a weird way)

Will always make his s/o feel cherished

Unfortunately, he gets snappish when he gets jealous because his insecurities flare up. He isn’t used to having someone that supports him unconditionally and lashes out to make it hurt less in case he is left alone again.

Don’t worry though! Nightowl would definitely seek professional help to make sure that doesn’t happen and most instances of jealousy are resolved by quick reassurances.

Nightowl would never purposefully make his s/o jealous and would immediately whisk them away for cuddles if he even senses they are.

Fights occur in any relationship and the fights between you two rarely get heated. Nightowl would never even think about laying a hand on his s/o and fights are resolved rather quickly.

This man is a sly, teasing one, though. (If you can’t tell, I end up liking this type by accident.)

While he does like to fluster his s/o, he would never ever pull any mean-spirited jokes considering he knows very well what it’s like to be the butt of everyone’s jokes.

Nightowl definitely like plants, but he often forgets to care for them, so he believed he didn’t have a green thumb for a while. Would adore having plants to care for with his s/o.

He just seems like he would like small, round cacti and mocca mix begonias for their dark leaves and bright flowers.

Also (this is just a given for me) FOREIGN PETNAMES!!!!!! I don’t care if his s/o has the worst accent or pronunciation ever; this man adores hearing his s/o speak another language to him. Like he practically melts into a puddle when he hears it.

Nightowl is a very intelligent person, given that he completed a graduate program in architecture, so I believe that he would pick up his s/o’s other language. He probably wouldn’t become fluent, but he could carry out a passable conversation or enough to make a declaration of his affection.

Okay so quick note, I’m going to be setting another post I have done to post later this week. It is going to be the first part of a series I want to do. However, I do want a bit of feedback if y’all enjoy it.

Hi!! Can I get a matchup for Blooming Panic?

I usually go by Raine or Senti (I just use Calliope/Octavian on here to avoid certain people from finding me) and I use he/they pronouns!

Some things I enjoy:

Roller skating

Conflict/confrontation involving me or someone I care about

My ideal date:

For me, something as simple as a little cafe date will suffice! It gives time to just talk with someone one-on-one without too many distractions or too many things going on at once. (also depending on where you go the food and music can be really good :D)

I tend to feel a bit pressured whenever someone takes me out somewhere really busy because like I said above, I dislike large crowds since they tend to scare me and just overall drain my energy

Quest

Quest is the man for you, I can see it in the stars.

You were interested in Quest from the moment you both joined the server. And he was interested in you too.

He always wanted to hear about your interests and things you were doing. He especially liked hearing about your adventures in roller skating.

Quest has always been a man of few words, he’s a much better listener than he is a teller, but you to blend well together and can easily keep a conversation going without any lulls or awkward silences.

Quest would hold your hand if you ever have to go down an escalator. I know he would, he’s a gentleman and would not let you feel scared of that tall long decent.

With Quest you never feel alone. He’s very good at making you feel wanted and cared for and he’s never more than a phone call away.

He will pick up the phone whenever you call too. No matter what time of day or what’s going on he’ll answer your calls. Weather that’s for a fun little chat or if you need to vent to him, he’s there for you.

Show him your chinchilla. He would absolutely love the little guy and think they’re almost as cute as you. He would also be very good at taking care of it when he is with you, even if he’s a bit nervous about it.

Quest has never struck me as a coffee guy, but he would absolutely love to take you to a cafe if that’s where you wanted to go. He’d have a nice little tea and bask in the atmosphere of it. and your company too of course.

“Good morning angel.”

Quests voice came from behind Raine. Before they could even turn around Quest wrapped his arms around the other and held them close to him. He was a bit damp from his shower, but Raine didn’t seem to mind.

The two had already made plans for a slow morning. Spending the earliest hours of the day cuddled up in bed, then both taking their turn in the shower. But Quest had one finale thing planned for their morning, so as the two parted he spoke.

“Would you come with me to that cafe you like so much?”
