I just know that for a week during 'Cry For Blood', Tim was giving Dick judgey eyes no matter what he did after he heard about his rooftop punchout with Helena.

I think Tim was made to have older sisters and Dick’s just there because there's no right universe where he ISN’T Tim's big brother

Hi! I absolutely love your DC character and relationship dissections, and I really want to integrate Helena Bertinelli into a fic that I’m currently writing, but I don’t remember a lot of the specifics as to her relationship to Tim? Could you please tell me??
Thank you so much! Yes, I'm happy to talk about Tim and Helena, especially because no one talks about them anymore (which is very sad, because they're adorable and I miss them 😭)
Tumblr media
Okay, so there are five comics you need to read if you're interested in Helena and Tim:
Robin III: Cry of the Huntress
"Benedictions" (Showcase '94 #5, Robin (1993) #6, and Showcase '94 #6)
The No Man's Land saga
Batman/Huntress: Cry for Blood
Batman: Gotham Knights #38-40 ("Knight Moves")
There's several other scattered individual issues and arcs that showcase some fun interactions, especially in Tim's Robin solo, but these probably give the best contained progression of their relationship.
Put simply, they're really good friends and have a deep trust in each other as heroes. Tim was the first member of the Batfamily to trust Helena and to work with her, and Helena often looked out for him during his early years as Robin. Helena and Bruce had a very contentious relationship (putting it mildly) for a long time, and Tim stuck up for Helena to both Bruce and Alfred on multiple occasions. Meanwhile, Helena clocked Tim as "just some kid" pretty early on and was concerned enough to try and look out for him, but also didn't condescend to him very much.
Right from the beginning, in Cry of the Huntress, they're pretty snarky with each other and Helena engages in some good-natured ribbing at Tim's expense that Tim doesn't take kindly to, but it's also pretty clear that Helena isn't dismissing his skills just because he's a kid and that Tim respects her even though Bruce doesn't like her:
Tumblr media
"You're late. We were supposed to meet after midnight. Batman never give you a watch?" "And you wonder why Batman doesn't ever mention you." -Cry of the Huntress #3 (1992)
Helena's a schoolteacher, and that's actually really important context when it comes to understanding her relationship with Tim. She knows how to talk to kids in a way that doesn't make them feel like she's talking down to them, and that's something Tim really needed at that point in his life. He was a kid and relatively new vigilante feeling rather insecure in his skills...but he was also a stubborn, prideful teenage boy who needed more than Bruce and Alfred's dysfunctional attempts to take care of him and his own father's well-meaning but neglectful attempts to parent him. So here's Helena, someone basically unconnected to the mess that is the 90s Batfam, who's more than willing to tag-team a case with Tim even though he's 13 and working for a guy she really doesn't like. Breath of fresh air, much?
Tim and Helena are actually fairly similar when they first meet; they're both rather quick-tempered, quick-witted, and impatient, for example. Even if they won't admit it, they both feel like they have something to prove to those around them. Helena has the benefit of being significantly "older, wiser, and more worldly" than Tim, but Tim has the benefit of being personally trained by Batman and is a bit more naturally analytically minded. Helena has a lot more trauma under her belt and a much larger thirst for violent vengeance than Tim does, but she's also a lot more independent and better able to look past what's immediately in front of her...so they balance each other out well.
It's a very cute and fun dynamic characterized largely by a lot of back-and-forth good-natured teasing:
Tumblr media
"I reread the comic. It's about a man who puts on a mask to fight the crime family he was born into. Pretty weird stuff." "You looked in a mirror lately, Huntress?" "Nice." -Showcase '94 #6
Tumblr media
"Hey, been keeping busy?" "If I'd known you were coming, I'd have saved a thug. "Thanks, but pass." -JLA/Titans #1 (1999)
Fast forward a couple of years and a few more adventures, including No Man's Land, where a whole bunch of nonsense happens to everyone (including Helena getting shot trying to save a bunch of infants from being murdered by the Joker, leading her to believe she's on her own and none of the Bats trust her), and we see that Tim is the only other 'Bat' besides Dick to explicitly voice that he believed she was innocent when Helena was framed for murder in Cry for Blood:
Tumblr media
"I think she's innocent. I think she's being framed.......why would she be so sloppy? If she really did it, why would she make it so easy to blame her? She's smarter than that..." -Cry for Blood #3
And he works to clear her name from the beginning, something Bruce and the rest of the Bats don't start doing until later:
Tumblr media
"...spending the week in the library clipping photocopies." "You're the one who wanted to clear her. I'm willing to let it go..." -Cry for Blood #3
Of all the Bats, Tim is the only person in this story (besides Dick, who somewhat loses faith in her after she accidentally shoots Bruce in the chest with a crossbow bolt) who pretty clearly respects not only her intelligence and skills but also her morals to the point where he basically doesn't even entertain the possibility that she killed the man. Tim knows who Helena is, and while he knows she's willing and able to kill he also knows she wouldn't have (or at the very least, she wouldn't have been this sloppy about it if she had).
Later on, he's also rather charmingly protective of Helena when he finds her with Vic Sage, rather like a bratty little brother being immature about his older sister bringing a boyfriend home:
Tumblr media
"Boy Wonder. This is a surprise." "Heard you were back in town. Who are you?" "He's okay, Robin." -Cry for Blood #5
So that's sort of the basics of their dynamic: Tim is the smart-ass younger brother figure who loves that Helena treats him like a grown-up (even though she constantly teases him about his age). Helena is equally charmed and annoyed by this snarky well-meaning kid who lowkey stalks her on more than one occasion and seems to know more about her own family history than she does, but she also deeply appreciates the respect and trust he shows her as a hero.
That's about where they stand when Helena's arc in Gotham Knights rolls around. As time went on and they worked together more often, Helena came to think of him as her little brother to the point where when she hallucinates him after being drugged, he calls her his "big sister":
Tumblr media
"Sleep later, big sister. Bad guys. Smackdown. You and me. Just like old times." "Sister?" "C'mon, you didn't get hit that hard." "Who...who hit me?" "Thugs. Skells. Lowlifes. Scumballs. Pick a flavor." -Gotham Knights #38
The panels I have in my "Tim Drake is the Batfam's Collective Younger Brother" folder is a lot, by the way. He just attracts older sibling figures...it's part of his charm.
And that's where their relationship stays until a) Helena stopped regularly showing up in Bat books and only really appeared in Birds of Prey and b) Tim started losing loved ones and slowly shutting people out of his life post-One Year Later. After that...we unfortunately don't get much on-panel interaction between the two of them, though they seemed to maintain a pretty good "off-screen" relationship based on the minimal interactions we did get.
So yes, they're very cute and I find it really sad most people either completely ignore Helena all-together or ignore Helena and Tim's relationship even when they do include her, especially because he's basically the reason she ended up semi-regularly working with the Batfam in the first place. Let Tim be the adult Batfam's collective younger brother again 2k22 (just because he's the middle child now doesn't mean he can't still fill the role)!
Postscript: talking about post-Flashpoint!Tim and Helena is basically a lost cause for two reasons: one, Tim was quite literally a different person for the first five years of the reboot until Tynion gave him back his pre-reboot backstory and personality in Detective Comics Rebirth. Two, Helena didn't exist for four years and was largely a completely different person when she finally did show back up in Grayson; she's only recently gotten most of her pre-reboot history restored via the Shadow of the Bat: The Tower storyline in 2021 and hasn't had much interaction with Tim since. They basically haven't had much of a relationship to speak of since 2011, which is pretty sad given their pre-reboot dynamic but also largely explains why modern fandom doesn't really...know they're friends. More things to curse Dan Didio and the DC editorial staff for.

I did it to myself, but driving to Copenhagen and back (~3h each way) in one day is criminal. My poor lil butt is exhausted. I’m so glad I took tomorrow off work.

As far as I can tell, Batman is the kind of vigilante who makes sense for a Gotham that has a mafia and corruption problem.
Whereas Clownhunter is a vigilante who makes sense for a Gotham that has a Supervillains & their acolytes problem.
And now after reading a bunch of posts about Bao Pham I really want a crossover with his era of comics and the Preboot era because I want him teaming up with 1990′s Helena Bertinelli Huntress.

I would love to have canon interactions between Damian and Helena Wayne.
Because regardless of what the rest of the batfamily would think, I believe Damian would absolutely adore his little sister. He’d be the type of brother to attend all her pretend tea parties with her plushies. He would gift her a pet kitten for one of her birthdays, probably. And Damian would despise anyone who would go out of their way to make Helena cry.
Damian would probably hate being demoted to middle child status but I think he would love his baby sister.

Discovering yourself
Tumblr media
Request: Hiiiii. Would you please write something with Aegon x f!reader? I would love to see something where the characters are opposite. Would it be okay for the reader to be a bit shy and socially awkward and loves books and music but at the same time wants to experience a bit of life but doesn’t know how and is a bit afraid to get out of her comfort zone. Once she gets to know someone she talks and is super fun but it takes her a bit of time. And then there is of course Aegon who we know is quite the opposite. The reader fancies him and the two fall in love? Could that be possible? Thank you.
w.c: 3.4k
c.w: baratheon!reader, ooc aegon probably, hes a bit of an ass sometimes, fluff, insecure/shy reader, sfw! no smut since the request didnt state it, not proofread

Unlike the rest of your family you had been more than happy when your family received an invitation to stay at kings landing in the red keep for a helena's name day festivities as she had become close with your sister floris. You had not been able to come with the rest of the family last time as you had been in bed rest.
You couldn't even imagine how big the red keep had been and while on the way there you could barely sit still your sister hitting you on the shoulder more than once to stop you from moving around.
“Welcome back to the keep.” Alicent greeted the rest of your family before he eyes locked onto yours, “I don't believe I recognized you.”
You open your mouth to say something but there's a pause and nothing manages to come out so you put your head down as your father speaks, “my daughter, lady y/n, she was bedridden the last time we came to visit.”
Alicent lets out an acknowledged hum and you keep your head down fiddling with the fabric on your dress. You're sure your father will scold you later.
“a pleasure, this is my son aemond and his lady wife heleana, aegon could not be here..”
you can hear the annoyance in her tone but choose to not acknowledge it and greet the other two siblings.
more formalities are exchanged between the two families, “it is so wonderful for house baratheon to join us for heleanas nameday festivities, she has grown quite fond of your family-”
the doors of the room you were all in burst open, all head whip back to look in shock, “prince aegon!”
“I am here.”
“You are late.” you hear his mother hiss quietly to him as he stands in place next to his siblings.”
“apologies, my son prince aegon.”
alicent introduces her son. You had heard the stories of Targaryen beauty and thought the two Targaryen siblings were gorgeous but Aegon, despite the fact he looked tired and a little sloppy, was a different level of beauty. He hadn't even needed to try and he wowed you.
as if he could feel your stare he locks eyes with you and you shyly put your head down towards the floor oblivious to the smirk that's grown on his face.
Some more pleasantries were exchanged but you didn't bother to lift your head still feeling his stare. You wish you weren't so awkward, if you had been anything like your sisters who could keep their heads up high and smile while locking eyes while you could barely hold a sentence with these people.
You barely even notice you had all been dismissed until you felt yourself being dragged away by your sister floris. A part of you can't get the idea of Aegon out of your head, even  as you fall asleep that night you wonder if you'll get the opportunity to speak with him.
Today was meant to be the first of a three day long festival including a grand feast, a tourney and finally a ball all in honor of heleana.
The second you walk outside you are immediately hit with hundreds of people, it was definitely a celebration with music, people dancing, some watching the performers. It was magical, you had never seen such life brought to one place before.
You and the rest of your family were sitting in one of the higher tables closer to the targaryens, you watch as floris eagerly runs up to greet heleana while you stand with your sisters who make many comments on the festivities.
“I can't believe he can put that whole sword down his throat.”
“It was just on fire too, how preposterous.”
“Maybe he just has a lot of practice. Do you think he’s fond of men.”
Cassandra and Ellyn turn to you in horror while maris lets out your name in a chuckle while hitting your shoulder.
You shake your head with a grin but are horrified to hear the sound of laughter behind you and turn around.
“Prince aegon.” you're all clearly mortified as you all bow but he moves to stand next to you and stare at the man.
“If he is not he should start to be there is so much potentially to be held.”
“I am so sorry my prince i should not have-”
He waves you off with his hand and continues to look on in the crowd, “these events are such a bore they practically force you to make such a joke.”
“I did not mean to offend-”
“You talk like my brother.”
You have nothing else to say back instead just stand and watch the crowd disperse. It is only then you notice your sisters have all walked off elsewhere and you curse them in your head as the two of you stand in silence aside from the gulps Aegon takes from his chalice.
“What do you think about her?”
He points towards a contortionist not too far from where the two of you were standing. She had her leg way over her head.
“She is very pretty.”
“Oh come on, you must have some other comments to make.”
You tilt your head at her as she moves into a split and lays down flat on her stomach.
“Men must certainly fight for her attention, I am sure she is a rather capable woman.”
Your words are faster than a bird and quieter than a mouse but Aegon certainly hears them and bursts out into a roar of laughter causing those around you to turn and stare. Your face flushes and you stare at the ground as Aegon composes himself still chuckling.
“You are a scandalous lady, y/n.”
You shake your head, “I do not know why I said such a thing.”
“You said it because it is true, look,” he leans in closer to you, much too close, and subtly points, “look at lord simon staunton he looks like he wants to eat her alive.”
You gasp and bring a hand to your mouth as you take notice and look back at Aegon who has a smile on his face, “he is old enough to be her grandfather, no even her great grandfather! That is ridiculous.”
Aegon shrugs, taking another sip of wine with a chuckle. “I rather think that's what he likes about it.”
You can't help but laugh for the first time in this whole conversation keeping your head down. Once you finally lift your head and look at him he's already looking at you. You feel a rush of heat flood your face, he stares at you for a moment longer, his eyes drift down to your lips. He opens his mouth to speak but before he can you hear your fathers voice call out your name.
“I must go.” you quickly turn, feeling embarrassed about the sudden tension between the two of you and barely hear him as you rush away, “i shall see you lady y/n”
You can barely relax the rest of the day your conversion with Aegon playing in your mind over and over. It was the first time you had been sop open with somebody you barely knew. It was so refreshing to be able to joke and laugh with someone who was not your family.that night you toss and turn in bed with a big smile on your face. In turn you cannot sleep so you sit up and contemplate what to do.
You would normally read a book but your father wouldn't allow you to take any on this trip saying there was no need for it but right now youre groaning and fall flat back on the bed.
An idea suddenly hits you, you remember from the tour one of the guards had given you there was a library not too far from your room. It wouldn't be an issue to go and grab a book really quickly right. A grin finds itself on your face as you realize the red keep has many books you have never read or even heard of and before you know it you throw on an overcoat and begin to quickly make your way over to the library with a lantern in hand.
Nobody would mind if you just took one maybe two books to keep you sated for the rest of your stay here right? That's what you think as you manage to sneak in and out of the library with two books under your coat as you quickly try to make your way back to your room. You almost reach your door before a voice behind you rings out.
“Now what could you be doing, wondering about by yourself..”
You turn and gasp, “prince aegon.”
In your shock the books fall out of your hands, you quickly bend down to pick them up missing the ‘ah’ that had escaped his lips.
“So you read?”
“I am so sorry-”
“You did not answer my question.”
You stall for a moment, not daring to lift your head from the floor. “Yes.”
He hums, “you are quite like my brother. I see no fun in it.”
At a loss for words you keep quiet and take a step back closer to your door, turning around fully before you speak, “i shall bid you goodnight-”
“You will sit in the royal box tomorrow for the tourney.” your movements freeze and you're thankful you are not facing him as your face must be full of shock.
You manage to compose yourself not turning around, “i thought my family would be sitting in one of the lower boxes-”
“Not your family. You. you shall sit in the royal box. With me.”
You feel a wild course of emotions run over your body. What does he mean, just you? Is he attempting to court you? He is trying to seduce you? Does he want something from you? Or maybe he is just trying to be kind? Maybe he takes pity on you after you had embarrassed yourself the last two days?
You must be frozen for a while because he begins to laugh. You take a deep breath, “I must decline.” because you certainly cannot sit in the royal box with the prince. What would the people think? What would your father think? You cannot even imagine having to try and explain why you would be sitting with them tomorrow.
“This is not a request. You shall join me tomorrow. I am the prince. I say it is so.”
“But my family.” “They shall sit in the box in one of the many stands below.”
“I cannot just leave my family.”
He tsks and huffs, “then so be it your family shall join us too. I'm sure heleana would be happy to be seated with floris.”
Did he want you to sit in the box so badly he was willing to just add your family at your request just like that? No, he wanted you to sit in the box. With him.
“alright, goodnight my prince.”
You do not even wait for a response as you book it down the hallway and slam the door to your room shut. The books you had gotten drop to the floor as you cover your hands with your face. Out of breath like you had just ran a marathon you find yourself unable to stop smiling.
When you and your family make your way outside you pretend to be shocked when your family is escorted to the royal box. You all greet the royal family who all stand to greet you. Aegon grabs your arm and ushers you to sit down next to him. You ignore the burning stares of your family as aegon quickly makes conversation with you.
“Isn't the view so great from here aren't you happy I told you to sit here?” it's not a question more so a statement and all you can do is nod your head.
“Oh come on you must have something to say to me.” he pouted at you and you swiftly turned away from him, “well you did not ask.” you mumble and he smiles, shaking his head and takes a drink of wine. “I certainly did not. You would have sat here one way or another.”
You're thankful Aegon is sitting in the front row of the box while the rest of your family is all the way in the back so at least you won't have to deal with the questioning of your family.
“Did you prepare a favor lady , y/n?” you turn back to face queen who addressed you and nod, “yes my queen.” not mentioning it is the same favor you've had for awhile as no one had ever asked for your favor. You do not take notice to aegons clenched jaw at the question and narrow eyes at the question.
The journey begins and you've never seen a tourney as big as this one. But as it is it is pretty uneventful. You cannot hold your surprise when you see aemond being introduced. “He is competing?”
Aegon next to you hums as he continues to drink, “he does not like this stuff, calls it horse shit but heleana wanted to see him compete so he entered.”
He of course comes up and asks heleana for her favor which she gladly gives him before he rides away.
“And his opponent, ser bronn beesbury!” The man rides in full confidence. When he takes off his helmet you can't help but admit he is a very handsome man, certainly not more handsome than Aegon but he was a very attractive man. He rides over near the royal box and Aegion sits up for the first time this whole tourney.
“Lady baratheon, you are the essence of beauty.” he holds up his hand towards the box and you're shocked in a haste you look over the edge and toss out your favor for him to catch.
“You bless me this day my lady.”
You sit back in your seat unable to say anything. You end up glancing at Aegon expecting him to make some comment about the man as he had been doing with all the other fighters that day. He was not even looking at you. An unreliable look on his face as he tapped his fingers on the table next to him. He started dead at aemond who stared back for a moment before nodding and slamming his helm down.
The match began and you were wowed as aemond swiftly takes ser bronn down with an extra hard hit and ser bronn hits the floor and doesn't stand back up. You gasp as he's dragged off the scene and for the first time in the last couple minutes Aegon laughs turning to you. “What a fool thinking he can go against a targaryen.”
A part of you feels like he's not just talking about aemond.
you didn't speak to Aegon after the tourney as the men went out on a hunt and you're grateful especially since you're more than embarrassed after your thoughts during today's tourney.
Though it is very tough to answer your family's questions when you don't even know yourself.
Finally it was heleanas name day and the day of the ball. You spent the morning with your family, the royal family nowhere in sight seemingly preparing for tonight's ball.
When you arrive back in your room that afternoon to prepare for the ball you and your maid are shocked to see a beautiful red and black gown laid out on the bed. “Did my father prepare this?”
The maid shook her head, she's been your maid for as long as you can remember so she freely speaks around you, “the baratheons may be wealthy little ones but your father could not afford a dress like this one.”
The dress is gorgeous as you run your hands down it you can barely believe it.
“Well come on little one let's get you dressed.”
When your family comes knocking on your door their eyes all drop to your dress, “what is this look about?”
“Where did you get that dress?”
“Oh I made it just today.”
“Shut your mouth and tell me.”
“I had no idea it was simply on my bed when I walked into my room.”
The discussion of your dress continued until you had been standing in front of the door waiting to be announced.
“Is it not obvious the prince has given her the dress?” You and Cassandra whip your heads to look at maris who shrugs.
“Oh come on it's in the Targaryen house colors and obviously he seems obsessed with our dear sister.”
“Be quiet you three” you would be surprised if your father could not hear the pounding of your heart as you consider maris’ idea.
Would the prince really leave you a dress like this? What could that possibly mean? Before you have any time to think, you and the rest of your family are being announced.
As you walk into the room you fail to ignore the stares of your fellow peers as they all seem to gawk at the dress you had been wearing. Keeping your head lowered slightly you eagerly rush to your seat.
Soon after the main family is announced and everyone stands. When you see Aegon, a pit forms in your stomach. The suit he wears is basically identical to the dress you had on, your sister maris clearly also takes notice of this as she leans towards you, “told you so.”
As the queen gives a speech and thanks everyone you attempt to hide yourself behind your father out of embarrassment but still manage to notice the smug look on aegons face as he looks over at you.
Soon enough dinner is served and the music starts and you forget for a moment why you had been so embarrassed in the first place laughing with your family over good food and good music. After the food in front of you had been cleared you feel eyes staring into your back, refusing to turn around you attempt to continue the conversation you had been having with your sister maris who comments on the fact that one of the lords had stepped on ever girls foot whom he's danced with which causes you to laugh.
A throat clears behind you and you freeze, maris smiles, “good evening my prince.” Everyone greets him as well and he gives a greeting back. You turn back to look at him and your eyes widen as he holds out his hand.
“Dance with me.”
He says it in the same tone he had told you you were to sit in the royal box with him. It is not a question. “Aren't there any other ladies you would prefer to dance with?”
“No. Now come on.”
You glance over at your father who smiles and moves his head signaling for you to dance.
You grab aegons hand and he is more than eager to let you onto the dance floor with him. “I heard you are fond of music.”
“I am my prince,, where did you hear that?”
“One of your sisters had mentioned it. The plain looking one.”
You gasp, “how could you say such a thing?”
He chuckles his eyes never leaving yours, “I am simply stating the truth, I apologize.”
You huff and turn your face away from him, “if anything i am the plain one my prince.”
He huffs as he grabs your chin and turns your head to face him, “you are not. Now shut your mouth.”
A silence fills between the two of you as he continues to stare at you. “Why do you think that?” A pathetic laugh escapes you, “I am not the funniest, I am not the most pretty, not the most talented. I am the quiet sister who has no idea how to speak to people or has no confidence in anything. I shall remain alone forever as a spinster while my sisters all go off and get married.”
The song ends and the two of you stand still while everyone claps. You do not look at him while he stares at you.
“If you are so boring then why have you captured me so. If you are not unfunny then why do I find myself laughing more in your presence than I ever have. If you are so untalented then why are you the first lady I've enjoyed dancing with? If you shall remain alone forever then why do I wish to be by your side.”
You don't even notice that all the eyes in the room are staring at the two of you, aegon is your whole world right now.
“Marry me. And I shall open up the world to you.”

Having a lot of feelings about Cass and Tim in Blüdhaven where I’ve got to say their siblinghood finally starts to really kick in (instead of the ‘both being part of the team’ level they’ve been operating on for a while now).
They both spend a lot of time in their uniform pants and sports bras/singlets together after training, because that’s just what you do, hey.
They tend each other’s wounds after patrol.
Cass breaks into Tim’s apartment to steal his hot water and rice krispie treats even though she HAS HER OWN NICE APARTMENT (adequate housing? For Cass? Finally? Thank you Alfred).
Cass lovingly kicks Tim’s ass sparring and he runs her through detective skills (and makes provision for her reading level).
They have deep and meaningful conversations about their philosophies about Batman.
They mourn Steph together.
They’ve got each other’s backs and it’s really sweet and goddamnit what’s coming isn’t fair (but also you can see why Tim puts Cass into his “yeah but that makes no sense” ride or die category like Helena for all her actions after this point. He loves his big sisters).

Aegon had been drinking so much that it seemed like a bright idea to take his little sister, who had rarely left the Red Keep before, for a stroll down the street of silk. The street was busy with people going about their business many not even looking twice to see the prince as him coming around was a fairly common occurrence, "So little dove finally left the nest. Thanks to the better brother. I'm talking of course about myself." he slurried a foul smell of alcohol wafting off of Aegon. Drunk men were everywhere, so Aegon's demeanour didn't attract much attention,
Y/n chuckled as she walked the street of silk with her eldest brother, she wore a beautiful black and green gown as she held his arm partly guiding his drunk steps down the cobbles, she was very used to having to go out and fetch her older brother from whatever pit of sin he ended up in, "Aegon what are you talking about?"
Aegon stumbled, "Isn't it obvious? I deserve you much more than Aemond does. I am the heir to the throne. He is just a second son. A spare." he grumbled, "I can be so much kinder to you than Aemond ever could."
"I do not doubt you would be kinder Aegon. But it's been agreed since the moment I was born, you are the heir to be king when father passes, you married haelena the first daughter. Then Aemond and I are to marry as the second son and second daughter, the two spares it is simply the way of it. Father and mother agreed,"
"But I could be much greater to you, little dove." Aegon leaned in closer, brushing his cheek against her. "Married or not, I can make you so much happier than Aemond can." Aegon grinned playfully, "You would be happier with me. I would make you so much happier than anyone ever could."
"I do not doubt you would, but there are things we cannot change, besides don't you love your wife and children?"
Aegon sighed and looked down at the cobbles. "You know mother forced me to marry her. And my children are a chore, you are the only one I care about."
"Aegon, that's very sweet and yes I do wish things had been different but these are the cards that have even dealt. We must learn to make the most of it. You know I will always be nearby, you and aemond are brothers you cannot allow this to come between you"
Aegon's expression sobered up a little. "You are right... you are right, little dove. I know. I know we have to play our cards right. I just... I wish things were different. That we had a chance to be together. But you're right that nothing can change the way it is. But I will always protect you, little dove. No one can harm you, no ever shall. Not as long as I breathe."
"thank you big brother" she cooed kissing his cheek
Aegon leaned his head against her. He was more affectionate to her than he had been to his wife at her best, or to anyone at their best really. Aegon seemed pleased to hear her call him 'big brother'. He was fond of that title. "So, little dove. Are you excited to be married?"
"... Honestly?"
"Of course, Are you not excited to be married?" Aegon frowned a bit, then he looked back at you, his expression solemn.
"Not really..."
Aegon stopped walking and looked at her. He squinted his eyes, and his lips curled into a frown. Aegon tilted his head and placed a hand on her shoulder. "What is wrong, little dove? What are you not saying?" His tone was concerned and gentle.
"... aemond frightens me sometimes. He says thinks, does things, they frighten me that's all, but in sure I'll grow accustomed once we're married"
Those words shook Aegon to his bone. "Does he... hurt you?" His eyes widened. "Has he hurt you since the betrothal? Or done anything to scare you?"
"no he hasn't... Hurt me exactly he just scares me, he often tells me of frightening tales, of fights that end in bloodshed, makes me watch him in the practice yard against the poor squire boys, often threatens to take me riding on vahgar with him." She explained, "the other night he... I shouldn't speak I'll of him,"
Aegon's expression hardened. He hated it when his little sister was treated in such a way that she was frightened by anyone. Aemond did nothing to ease Y/n's fears, only made them grow worse. Aegon felt protective of her. "No, little dove, you must. What did he do that night?"
"he wanted a kiss before he left my chamber, I was feeling tired so I politely declined said I'd give him two kisses the next day but he got angry with me tried to pin me on the bed and take the kisses I owed him when I pushed him away he forced me against the wall and took far more then kisses as a punishment he said"
And he was furious. "He did what? Did he... take... take liberties with you?"
she nodded sheepishly
"I want to know one thing and one thing only, little dove. Do you want to marry this man? This creature that calls himself our brother?"
"I do not... But father insists mother says it is no matter what he had done as my flower was long plucked anyway"
"I don't care what father says. I don't care what mother says." He paused again, and when he continued his voice was as cold as ice. "And I don't care what he says. I will not allow this. I cannot allow for you to be married to a man who you do not want. You are not his flower who has been plucked already. You are our family, and you will not marry a man who has used you."
"but if we are to follow the rule that no man who has used me can marry me... That would also mean you couldn't marry me" she giggled hugging his arm,
there was a slight smirk on his lips. Maybe it was the alcohol talking, "Oh, and why is that, little dove? Have I taken liberties with you that I don't know about?"
"It's strange... What you boys do and don't remember, do you really not recall what you use to do to me Aegon while we snuck around the red keep, when we made little blanket forts, when we used to... Kiss and touch in what's children should not" she reminds,
Aegon felt a weird sense of pride. Of course, he did remember those evenings. How could he not? It had been one of the most pleasurable memories of his life. “You are right, little dove."
"you hang your head as if in shame of those days? Do you regret our nights snuck away in blanket forts Aegon?"
"I certainly do not regret them, little dove. But... I suppose I am ashamed of what happened, or at least how wrong they are." He paused again, shaking his head. "I suppose I had forgotten that you looked fondly on those days. I had always thought they were a shameful memory for both of us."
"I recall no shame from that time. I was happy as we're you"
Aegon's lips turned up into a sad but genuine smile at the realization that she also had enjoyed that time as well. It was good to know that he hadn't been the only one, and that she had also felt pleased with it. "I suppose I was. Happy I mean. It's just that... as we got older, so did the guilt I felt. I always thought of those times as being so wrong and I felt horrible for it..."
"why? I wanted to play as badly as you did, never once did I deny you, I am sorry if I make you feel guilty for such things I do not think them horrible or wrong merely sweet experiments that I hold dear. And I'm sure if we were to make a blanket forts big enough for us both I'd be more then happy to continue our games "She smiled kissing his cheek
"My, my, little dove, are you suggesting what I think you are?"
she giggled "Depend what you think I am?"
"Are you suggesting that despite your impending marriage, you would like us to resume our... blanket fort games?" He looked at you, and his expression was almost bashful.
"mhm".she nodded
"And what if I said yes?"
"then I suppose we'd need to find somewhere to cuddle"
Aegon's lips curved into a smile. “Indeed we do little dove,” he smirked grabbing her hand and tugging her though the streets so they could find an inn for the evening to enjoy their time alone,

Character File
Name: Castle “Daddy” Alistair Aliases: Daddy, Captain Daddy, Big Daddy Age: 38 Gender and pronouns: AMAB using he/him/his Marital Status: officially unmarried; unofficially – very taken Surviving family: mother, father, sister
Physical description: Standing at 6’3” (190.5 cm) and weighing 225 lbs. (102 kilos) Captain Alistair is all around built strong and thick. Broad shoulders, slight tapering at the waist, and thick thighs. His hair is dark brown, shaved close at the sides and longer at the top – if he allowed it to grow out it would curl. His eyes are a very deep brown with a strong, square jaw and aquiline nose. Teeth are straight and even, though he has prominent canines. (face claim: John Bernthal)
Identifying/Unusual features:
Two facial scars; one across the bridge of his nose and one high on his left cheek. Both required stitches, though they were acquired separately.
Tattoos: The SpecGru symbol on the left side of his chest An ouroboros snake around his left thigh A rook with daisies on his right bicep (for his little sister) A full back pieces of the Grim Reaper with ravens
Two crooked fingers from a break that didn’t set correctly
While he has several scars, the worst of them is crisscrossing circles around his left calf; a steel cord wrapped around it multiple times and almost took the entire leg
Early Childhood:
Castle was born to Clancy and Helena Alastair in Michigan. Clancy had always wanted a boy, so after a difficult delivery, he and Helena were happy to stop at one and focus all their attention on their son. The first twelve years of his life were spent in a quiet suburb that was developed in the 50s.
Clancy owned fifty percent of a construction company that he built from the ground up with a childhood friend. When Castle was old enough, his father began to bring him to construction sites, teaching him the basics of both business and carpentry. Castle grew up with a strong appreciation for hard work and building things from the ground up, instilled by his father. He greatly admired Clancy’s dedication and hands-on approach as a leader.
Castle also had a deep love and respect for his mother, a music teacher at the local high school. She was both charismatic and eccentric, with a love of silly dresses and jewelry. She embodied kindness and compassion without compromising her own self-respect, the people she loved were her whole world. Family was everything to her and Castle feels that she taught him what love truly is.
In middle school, Castle developed something of a temper. Love, he thought, meant protecting his family. Insults or jokes about either of his parents were met with swift and violent responses. He spent many afternoons in the principal’s office (and many nights without dessert) from brawls in the lunchroom or curses traded across classrooms.
In the spring of sixth grade, Clancy got into an accident that left him with permanent damage to his knee and lower back. He chose to sell his half of the company to his business partner, then bought a small farm that he moved his family to that summer. While Castle initially was angry about the move, and angry that he had no say in the matter, he found that he really enjoyed the wide-open spaces and all the animals they now had to tend to.
Seventh grade brought better friends and a better attitude. Working on the farm gave him a physical outlet for all his growing hormones.
That winter brought a little sister.
Clancy’s younger brother (the well-earned black sheep of the family) had had an affair. When his affair partner died of birth-related illness, he was left with an illegitimate child. Neither his affair partner’s family nor his own wife wanted anything to do with the baby. So he brought her to his eldest brother, Clancy.
Even past their prime and with no particular desire for another child, Clancy and Helena took the baby girl in without hesitation. (Though Clancy did kick his younger brother’s ass quite soundly while Castle sneakily watched from the window.) She didn’t even have a name yet. Helena jokingly suggested naming her “Rook” to go with “Castle,” but then their son latched onto the name, and it stuck.
Rook became Castle’s whole world as he helped his parents care for both a baby and their new farm. He often sat with her when he came home from school – kept an eye on her while he did homework, giving his parents a break to take care of things they hadn’t been able to with the baby. While they weren’t technically siblings, they were blood, and Clancy insisted that the age gap between them meant that Castle needed to act responsibly with her. That she would look up to him since he was so much older already.
In high school, he would often walk (or carry) Rook to and from preschool on his way to his own classes. Clancy wanted him to join the football team, and while Castle enjoyed it to an extent, he preferred to be helping at home.
It was in his junior year that he began to seriously consider joining the military. By senior year, he had decided. When he graduated, he went into an ROTC program at the state college an hour away. Once he graduated, he joined the marine corps.
Military Career:
Alistair rose quickly in reputation and rank during his time in the marine corps. A level-headed and disciplined man, he became known for his leadership prowess early on. While not outgoing, he was well-regarded by his comrades and often a morale-booster, excelling in any unit he was placed in. He excelled in stealth and infiltration but had an impressive record as a sniper as well.
Unfortunately, his career was cut short when information leaked on a high-risk mission. The mission was a failure, with two teammates sacrificing themselves for the sake of the unit. At the safehouse, the remains of the team were ambushed just as exfiltration arrived via helicopter.
While trying to help a comrade up, a steel cord tangled around his leg and nearly dragged him from the aircraft. In the pain and panic, he dropped his teammate to his death. Alistair would have lost his leg if not for the quick response of his sole surviving team member.
Alistair would later discover that very teammate was the one to betray the unit. The man mysteriously disappeared, and Alistair was honorably discharged from service.
A year later, he was recruited for the PMC known as SpecGru.
SpecGru:
Keegan Russ is credited with coining Alistair’s callsign, “Daddy,” though his fellow teammate Nila “Nova” Brown quickly adopted it as well. They claim this is due to Alistair’s close observation, concern for health, and deep protectiveness for his squad. His adaptive and lenient leadership style has endeared him to even the most standoffish of his team – Nikto.
The addition of the fifth and final member to his unit has skyrocketed them to one of the highest success rates in SpecGru.

I have an idea for a full-season Eddie arc that I want to put into the universe. tim, feel free to plagiarize me yet again (but this time. i want a dm. i know you're around here somewhere come say hi). So. Anyways. Season 8
8x1: Eddie has broken up with Marisol. By the time this episode rolls around, they've already been broken up for a couple weeks/months. As mentioned in 7x5, he's struggling with the idea of Catholic guilt, struggling with the idea of faith in general. He mentions, in casual conversation, to Buck, Chim or Tommy (who is still with Buck on screen *coughs loudly*) that he's thinking about going down to Texas for a while. His grandmother is the most religious person he knows and he's always found comfort being in her space and soaking in her presence, so he wants to talk to her about his feelings. Whoever he's talking to agrees that's a good idea.
8x2 - 8x7: A couple episodes pass with the idea of Eddie taking some time off in the background of the audience's mind. Nothing major, just little throw away lines about getting the truck tuned up before he makes a big road trip, paying bills before he leaves, things like that.
8x8: The 118 responds to a call of a fire in a church. Two people are getting married and their families are in attendance. Eddie doesn't go inside the church but he fights the fire from outside and helps treat the injured. Almost everyone is pulled out safely but the mother of the bride. Her daughter is crying because she and her mother aren't on good terms and she doesn't want it to be too late for them to patch things up. Eddie and the bride get to talking, and the bride mentions she always felt like she wasn't enough for mom, that she found it impossible to live up to her standards. They had an argument before the fire broke out because the bride realized, on-screen, that she didn't actually want to marry the man she was going to marry because she was in love with someone else (that's what started the fire, her making that announcement caused someone to pass out, and blah blah blah). But she was only marrying this man because her mom thought he would be good for her, and the brides makes a comment about always feeling like she was living her life for someone else, in service of a standard she could never reach. Eddie, of course, can relate. The bride's mother passes away and, it's a tragedy and is treated as such, but at the end of the episode during the voiceover (*coughs louder*), we see the bride reuniting with the person she's actually in love with because her mother's death means she's free from having to try to, like, be perfect.
8x10: Eddie's been getting a call from his dad all throughout the episode but he's been ignoring it because [shenanigans]. This is a light-hearted episode and the tone will be important because when he finally answers the phone during the last five minutes of the episode, he's like "Dad, come on, jesus, what is it" and his dad tells him that his grandmother has passed away.
8x11: Midseason premiere, the episode begins with Isabel's funeral, mainly because I want to see Eddie/Ryan in a nice tailored black suit (timothy, i'm sure you can relate). Anyway, the funeral is outside because it's important Eddie doesn't go inside a church yet. When it's finished, he goes back to the reception at Isabel's house. His sisters are there, everyone is there. He offers to help his mother in the kitchen and she tries to make conversation, but Helena Diaz has never actually learned how to relate to her son, so she says the wrong thing. It doesn't go well (but that's something to be circled back to in another season). Eddie looks at the pictures on his grandma's wall / mantle / whatever and sees himself and his sisters and his cousins when they were kids, smiling big at church christenings or whatever, and he's like... "I don't recognize this kid who was so happy to be inside of religion. I didn't know who I was then, and I definitely don't know who I am now because of it". He doesn't say it, but that's the vibe ofc, and Ryan's face is expressive enough that he can pull that off.
8x12: He's back in LA. Everyone is treating him with the utmost care because they are good people and they love him, and one evening, Eddie gets a visitor. He opens the door and it's his sister. (one of them lives in LA, remember?). In my head, that's always been Sophia, so he asks what she's doing here, and she holds up a bottle of wine. They sit on the sofa, they talk and reminisce about their grandmother, make apologies for the fact that they haven't been around for each other much despite living in the same city (but this isn't Eddie's family issues storyline, this is the Catholic guilt storyline. We will circle back to this in S9). So Eddie pitches the idea of faith to her, and asks what it means to her. It's the same question he wanted to ask his grandmother. Sophia says she has faith in the universe, faith that things always happen the way they're meant to, and it's a good answer but it doesn't speak to the core of Eddie's problem, which is that he always feels beholden to something he can't name/place.
8x14: Eddie continues to ask the people around him (Buck, Athena, Tommy, Chim) about faith and what it means to them. They all give him different answers. Athena has faith in purpose. Chim has faith in his family. Buck has faith in the inherent good of humanity. Tommy has faith in himself. It's not very helpful in the sense that no one gives him his answer, but it does reveal to him that faith can, does, and should exist absent of guilt, that maybe he's been doing it (or was taught) all wrong.
8x15: Insert an embarrassingly on the nose call about a kind, nerdy, reserved man who's lived by an unspoken rulebook all his life. He came out to Los Angeles on a whim and suffers from a hiking mishap where he's physically blinded by [something] and subsequently needs to trust that the 118, these people he literally cannot see, will save him. When they pull him to safety, he berates himself for even coming out to Los Angeles in the first place because he's not the kind of guy who does this, he just wanted to do something for him and now he feels stupid. And Eddie (because of course it's Eddie) is just like "no, you didn't do anything wrong. Look, you took a leap of faith (episode title btw). That's more than what most people can say. Maybe it didn't work out in this instance, but who knows how it'll work out tomorrow, or the next day. You don't know the future. None of us do, so maybe stop trying to live according to some giant colossal plan and just... live, and try your best. Isn't that all we can do?" And he watches the guy get airlifted away (thanks Tommy! *coughs even louder*) and it's like his lightbulb moment, like, oh. Yeah. He finally gets it.
8x16: Eddie walks into a church for the first time in years, and for the first time all season. It looks exactly how he remembers; wooden pews, high ceilings, the works. He takes a seat on one of the benches and prays / talks aloud to God and is just like, "I don't really know who you are and I don't know how to be what you want me to be. All my life I've been trying to be what everyone wants me to be to the point where I just don't even know who I am anymore, if I ever knew. So I don't know who you are, but I know I am who you made me to be, and I don't know who that is, but I know that person is enough for me right now. And maybe I'll figure you out along the way, maybe I won't. But, right now, what I know is that i can't be your perfect son because I can't be perfect at all, and I need to let go of the idea that I can and start living my life for me." So he walks out of the church and not much changes, but everything changes. You know?
And, like, obviously the story would need to be flushed out a little more. Obviously, this story centers more of the idea of faith than the idea of explicit guilt, but they're one in the same anyway because you can't have guilt without failed/presumably "failed" expectations. In this case, religious or spiritual expectation. So. I don't know. But there's just something so sexy about the idea of Eddie systematically and intentionally dismantling and releasing himself from all the things that have kept him from growing over the years. Starting with his survivors guilt in S5 and working his way through Catholic guilt in S8, I just love the idea of Eddie being purposeful in his own healing, especially in this post-breakdown era. Plus it'll give him a chance to have a storyline that's not romance-focused cos we've been leaning a bit too heavily into those. 🙃 But anyways. (Next up is his issues with Helena. btw. because we have yet to circle back to his family issues in canon but we certainly need to).

Mushy May Day 5: Animals
Skipping ahead to today's prompt from @forlorn-crows list which involves animals. I had the cutest idea for Mountain and Rain as soon as I saw it :D
Pairing: Mountain/Rain
Rating: Everyone
Word Count: 579
“Mountain!” Rain called out when he entered the greenhouse.
He had been looking all over for the earth ghoul for help with some chores, but he couldn’t find him anywhere, not even in the greenhouse where he often spent a lot of his time. How could he not find the much taller ghoul? He had to be somewhere.
“Where is he?” The water ghoul grumbled, crossing his arms as he walked out of the greenhouse.
He noticed the farm not too far away and caught the faint trace of the earth ghoul’s noticeable scent mixed in with the goats. He had to be there.
Rain quickly made his way over to the farm where some siblings of sin were rushing around with towels and looking absolutely delighted. What was going on?
“Oh! Are you looking for Mountain? He’s with Miss Marmalade. She just had triplets and Miss Bunny had her kids this morning. Twins!” Sister Helena chimed.
Ahh, Miss Marmalade was one of Mountain’s favorite goats. He had been talking a lot about her recently and how big she had gotten during her pregnancy.
Rain went over to the stall where Miss Marmalade lived and saw Mountain sitting cross-legged inside. Miss Marmalade sat next to him, looking noticeably smaller and very tired. Mountain had a very small goat in his lap that was suckling from a bottle. Two more baby goats sat near Mountain, fast asleep. All three were pitch black like their mother. The earth ghoul purred, making the ground around him vibrate.
“You’re so strong like your mama, little one,” Mountain cooed, petting the goat’s head. He didn’t seem to notice Rain before the water ghoul cleared his throat. He grunted and looked back at him, grinning from ear to ear.
“Miss Marmalade finally gave birth. Her kids are amazing, Rain! Come sit,” he chimed, patting the space next to him.
The chores needed to be done, but they could wait for a little bit. Rain opened the gate and went over to sit next to the taller ghoul. The little goat pulled away from the bottle and bleated at him, reminding Rain of a kit.
“She said hello. Miss Bernadette, this is Rain. Rain, this is Miss Bernadette,” Mountain said, handing the bottle to Rain. The goat bleated again and moved to crawl into Rain’s lap, her little tail wagging nonstop as she looked up at him with hungry red eyes.
“She likes you already,” Mountain chuckled.
“You sure? It could be from me holding the bottle,” Rain said, getting a better hold of the goat and letting her drink her milk.
“Nah, the other siblings tried feeding her, but she kept wiggling away until I came around. She likes you,” Mountain replied.
“That’s good to hear,” Rain said, petting the goat. He looked over at the mother and the sleeping siblings and couldn’t help but smile.
“They’re cute. No wonder you like it here,” he said.
“They’re good listeners and the goats love me the most,” Mountain said, petting the top of Miss Marmalade’s head. The mother goat bleated and nuzzled his hand.
“How long before the kids start climbing on you?” Rain chuckled.
“Give it a few hours. They’ll be all over me, but I’ll be ready,” Mountain crowed, dusting off his shoulders. Rain’s smile grew as he remembered all the times newborn goats were climbing on Mountain whenever he was sitting or hunched over. He looked forward to seeing that happen again soon.

pssssst hey quick question on the dl - who is helena bartinelli??
i cannot answer anon questions on the dl, so answer on the up-high, which she deserves:
HUNTRESS
Tumblr media
a.k.a. Helena Bertinelli, a.k.a. Gotham's coolest and most notable antihero, crossbow-wielder, and purple bat-associated vigilante.
Helena was born to an Italian mob family, but spent her childhood blissfully unaware of the family business--until her entire family was slaughtered in front of her when she was eight. She stayed with family overseas for the rest of her childhood, learning how to fight and protect herself.
She came back to Gotham for both vengeance and justice, and became one of Gotham's many vigilantes. Though her focus is on the mob, she'll step in to stop any crime.
She's also a schoolteacher! Good for her.
She is discerning in who she chooses to kill, but she does kill. As you can imagine, this put her at odds with Batman for a long time. Helena is pretty much the premiere example of Bruce trying to claim control over every vigilante in Gotham, no matter how little right he has. The argument on killing/ethics is valid, but his default was basically "do exactly what I say and fall in line under my command, or stop completely," which is why he's an asshole control freak and why I'm constantly mad about how she was treated 👍
Tumblr media
She was an absolute mainstay of the Batfamily before Flashpoint (2011) and it is personally hurtful to me that people don't know her. (Like, to be frank? She had far more of a presence than Damian or (living) Jason in the post-crisis era.)
You could count on seeing her in any major Batfamily crossover, from Cataclysm to Battle for the Cowl.
She was central to the biggest Batfamily crossover ever, No Man's Land, where Gotham was locked off from the rest of the country and turned into a lawless wasteland. Bruce left to sulk for the first couple of months and in absence of any other vigilantes in the field (only Oracle having remained in the city), Helena donned the mantle of the Bat for herself to protect the city. And when Batman came back, in return for all she'd done, she got...yelled at, assigned impossible tasks and criticized for not achieving them, her costume stolen and given to someone else, lied to, abandoned in the face of impossible odds, and shot multiple times protecting kids. Absolute fucking hero, honestly.
She also was on the Justice League for a while, though admittedly I have barely touched that run. To my understanding, despite nominating her for the position, Bruce was also the one to revoke her membership there.
Fortunately! things improved!!
In the early/mid 2000s, Helena joined the Birds of Prey, Oracle's team, and found legit friendships and support there with teammates like Dinah Lance/Black Canary. She finally got more respect in the community, and had a much better time.
Additional relationships include:
A big sister/annoying little brother type thing with Tim, who may disapprove of her killing but simply likes making friends too much :)
A great relationship with Vic Sage/the Question
One single issue where she met Steph that presented SUCH interesting potential that I desperately wish had been followed up on
On and off romantic/sexual tension with Dick, depending on the writer, which culminated in a single hook up that apparently most people around here would rather pretend didn't happen, though I really don't think it's that bad
A complicated relationship with Barbara, partially due to clashing personalities and conflicting morals (with Babs being nearly as much of a control freak as Bruce), and partially due to a shared history with Dick because DC loves making women be catty
Surely others from her first solo or time on the JLA that I don't know well enough to list!
Tumblr media
She's rad and determined and takes no shit but cares a lot, and I love her. We deserve more stories tying her teaching day job into her night work. We also deserve more stories with her in general.
If you would like additional Helena beyond just cruising my tag, I recommend:
Batman/Huntress: Cry for Blood - far more Huntress than Batman, this is a great 6-issue miniseries about Helena reckoning with her past, ft the Question.
Batman: No Man's Land - if you have the time for it, a big storyline but worth it.
Birds of Prey vol 1 (1999) - Helena starts to appear around issue #57 and becomes a central character from there.

I have this little fantasy that in s3 Aziraphale and Crowley have to go into hiding (just for while) to escape The Metatron's wrath and decide to disguise themselves by fem presenting.
But instead of just femming up Michael and David, we actually get two female actors portraying Aziraphale and Crowley for like one episode. Now - they would have to be British, and they would have to be older or middle-aged. This love story needs the wisdom and experience of millenia - hot young things just won't cut it. We need the assured sexiness of a woman who's lived and knows her worth. But who could bring Aziraphale and Crowley to life with Shennant levels of chemistry! It would be a big ask!!
For me, the one and only choice for Aziraphale would have to be Olivia Coleman - can't you just see it! The effervescence of Michael's Aziraphale, she could definitely match that! We know she'd bring the heavy emotions if needed. And fem!Aziraphale (Olivia) and male!Crowley (David) we already know that chemistry is tried, tested and perfect. But fem!Crowley...
I'm struggling with my Crowley...
My first thought was Kate Beckinsale, you know, keep it in the family and all! And that woman can be sexy as hell! Then I thought Emma Thompson, she can sex it up, and she's absolutely bonkers hilarious! But in the end, I settled on Helena Bonham Carter, if she can't bring Crowley to life then no one can! Plus, we know that her and Olivia have great chemistry, but would it work as lovers rather than sisters mmmm....
