My main hobby is just procrastinating in any way I can. The plan was to make a cup of coffee and then start working. What actually happened is that I watched a 3 part video series (by james hoffmann ofc) on Aeropress coffee and made a few cups with different variables. Still not sure if I found The Recipe for me, but it’s getting better (tho I don’t love the coffee beans I have)

i dont think sukuna gets jealous when ppl get handsy over his 'property' per se more like he'll feel offended that you had the audacity to try and take what is his. the first feeling will always be offense never jealousy. bc jealousy would imply that sukuna wants something that he doesn't have, but he wouldn't covet something that he already owns, right?

like he won't go green with jealousy when megumi will give someone the time of day over him, he'll go red with rage on that someone who tries to whisk megumi away because how dare you, you are beneath me.

you might think there isn't a difference, but there is. why would he get jealous? megumi is his. nothing changes that.

how he acts on it? he gets rid of the nuisance of course lol

Not only did OPLA took the fun out of Nami (and Zoro), but hate how they also made Nami steal from Kaya in the LA even though Nami only steals from pirates in the manga

I mean... I don't really agree? I can see your point, though. The manga focuses way more on her hatred for pirates and emphasizes the fact that she steals from them respectively more. But I don't think stealing from the rich is something out of character for her. In fact, I think it's pretty much in character and also gives us a great scene about Luffy's views on rich people and money.

Nami won't stop complaining about how much stuff Kaya has and that she doesn't need all these luxuries. That it's unfair for the people who don't even have the chance to eat properly. She complains from a place of experience and hatred towards monetary difference and privilege. Nami grew up poor and her whole story is about finding comfort in money because that's what could've saved her mom and her village. She had to fight for it. Her mom wouldn't stop saying that it didn't matter that they weren't rich because they had each other, but Nami wanted more. Nami wanted stability and knowledge she could only achieve from the books she stole and,, She wanted to be able to live without sacrificing these things because it's just unfair people have to live this way while others swim in money. Arlong took everything from her and the ONLY thing that could've saved them was money. So of course she finds comfort in money. And of course she doesn't like rich people. Nami stealing from the rich and complaining about how they didn't have to fight for these things is extremely in character, in my opinion. It was a great addition to her character and a good way to build up her story.

Then, Luffy. I like the scene in which Nami's trying on outfits and saying rich people don't need all these things, and Luffy responds in a more emotional, concerned way for Kaya. He's like "but there's so much stuff in here and it's so empty at the same time... I'm sure she feels lonely without somebody to share this with" and Nami instantly goes to a more extreme, stubborn POV of "nah, rich people don't have feelings". And I honestly think it explains their characters so well. Luffy is an empathetic boy who grew up in the wild and he had to fight to live. Not even for money because he didn't care about that. He fought to live. He doesn't consider money something good or bad. He considers it just another type of living. And honestly? For him, it's not even good because his own brother was rich. Sabo grew up in a rich family and the kid wasn't happy at all and Luffy knew this perfectly. In fact, Sabo was only happy with Ace and Luffy and Luffy knows this. And I don't know if OPLA wanted to do something like this, and maybe it's a reach, but I honestly think Luffy was thinking about Sabo in that scene. For him, the more you have the less you have to lose because none of those materialistic things are worth it. For Nami, the less you have the more you have to lose. Simple as that.

I like their different views on this topic, honestly. Especially since Nami ends up befriending Kaya and understanding Luffy's POV. That money doesn't give you happiness and Kaya misses her parents the same as Nami. Death doesn't discriminate and money won't save you from tragedies like those. Nami finds comfort in money but it's not even something real. It's a trauma response from losing her mom but she knows it won't save them at the end of the day. At least it'll help them be comfortable, of course, she won't ever let the crew be poor. And also she likes shiny things and expensive stuff but like, obvious trauma response. She's fond of luxuries because she couldn't have them when she was a kid and now she has the chance to enjoy them and it's like telling her mom she finally made it and she's living comfortably thanks to her sacrifice, even if it's unfair she had to do it in the first place. That money isn't all but it's quite obviously it is something useful. Unlike Luffy, who gives 0 fucks about it and honestly, I don't think he even has a good opinion on that. At the end of the day, they both agree on the fact that everyone should live equally and nobody should have this much money to waste when others are dying of hunger (Wano my beloved).

TL,DR: I think it's in character for Nami and it gives us a great view of her opinion on money and also Luffy's past and empathetic personality.

The thing is! As I said before this is a scene from the movie Sixteen Candles starring Molly Ringwald most known for The Breakfast Club movie that actually have an episode of Bob's Burgers dedicated to it. do you see the connection?

So yeah, don't remember if is actually mentioned but I'm totally sure Gene is a big Molly Ringwald fan, is just his type of girl icon.

The movie in itself is a movie that carries a lot of good memories for me. My mom loves to show me movies from her childhood and teen years.

I remember watching this movie with my mom we both laughing of all the craziest shit that this movie had, commenting how different movies were back then and crushing over Molly Ringwald.

And then just a couple of days ago as a way to find the inspiration again I decided to watch it again with my lil sis who almost cry in the end scene (not the romantic one, the one with the girl and her dad)

And we catch sight of a lesbian! Hunting lesbians in older movies since 2024

The thing is even though I love this movie I have to say is from the 80's, wich mean hella racist toward asian people, very misogynist, and it have boobs (that is not a real problem but since people on twit is trying to banned sex I added it) so yeah, watch carefully. But totally recommended.

There's a scene I would also draw with Tina and Bob from this movie.

Second fun fact. Even though this was the first drawing I made I didn't made the romantic interest until this wednesday.

Originally I though Alex, but I wasn't 100% convinced cause at that point I was heart broken at the realization they were probably discarding his character (note: I don't know if they are discarding the character) (read as a Mort situation) So yeah.

Then I though DAH! Courtney, but I don't ship them as a couple so that didn't seem quite right.

Then talking with Golden I got really fond of their OC Alexis and though, why not? I believed in signs.

The universe talk and I have to listen. The fact that Golden decided to tell me about their character right when I was starting to draw this piece was all I needed to know.

Also I though of just letting that spot blank and maybe made a dynamic were people put whoever they wanted with Gene. Which for me could been hella funny. But I don't think anyone would actually want to do that so yeah.

Q: Does Jiujiu ever talk to JL about his maternal grandparents?

Charles/Lando/Max where Lando retires suddenly and disappears from the paddock?

Oooo I love this idea

Lando leaving F1 would literally shock all of them, but especially Max and Charles who had been flirting with him. Maybe they were gently trying to date him, inviting him on dates, into their bed, and they thought everything was going great. They had planned to make everything clear with Lando and tell him that they had feelings for him, and then suddenly he isn't in the paddock come the next race day.

At first the rumors going around are just that Lando is sick. It's only media, that's not unusual, until McLaren hold a surprise media announcement saying that Lando won't be driving that weekend, or for McLaren again and that he has decided to step away from Formula 1. Everyone is in shock. Max and Charles try to talk to Oscar but he doesn't know what happened, he only found out that morning. Carlos hasn't heard from him, and neither has Daniel. George and Alex won't say anything. No one knows where Lando is or why he did this. He was doing well that season. Projected to possibly come second or third in the championship and is now just gone.

Charles and Max try to go by his home in Monaco only to find it's up for sale and Lando is long gone. It's then that they realize that Lando had planned this for a while. It wasn't a sudden thing. He just disappeared and no one will tell them where he is because they either don't know or claim not to know. Max F full on just tells them to stop asking, and that if Lando wanted them to know anything, then they would know.

Still, Charles and Max are devastated and just ask Max F to give Lando a message for them, that they are here for Lando no matter what and will respect his privacy but just want to know that he is okay.

For a while they don't hear anything, and they just continue life missing Lando. They ignore questions about him, just saying that they hope Lando is doing well and that the choice to retire was one Lando couldn't have made lightly, and that they know at the end of the day, Lando made the choice that was best for him and wish him the best. They don't comment on rumors.

And then one day, they get a number from Max F, and he tells them that Lando wants to speak to them. They are a bit skeptical at first, but when they call, it's Lando's voice on the other end. He sounds tired and little off, but they don't ask. They don't ask why he left, they just ask if he's okay and they go from there. Lando won't facetime them or visit or tell them where he is, but he calls and messages them most days. They know he's talking to George and Alex again too, and they live with this new found connection after months of worrying.....until they get a call from Max F

Max F is upset and rambling, and just gives them an address that they need to get to asap because "I know he'd want you here", and they have no idea what to expect but it certainly isn't a very skinny and pale Lando in a home hidden away in Switzerland, connected to a bunch of wires and an oxygen mask because he's so sick and has been for over a year but didn't want his illness to become a media circus like every other part of his life was, especially because he knew chances of recovery were small and he didn't want to spend his last possible months with cameras shoved in his face or his every movement analysed

human shockwave made her in a test tube as one of her Shadow War With Prowl projects to be her palm pilot/pocket advisor/shoulder demon who can best imagine her nemesis's next move due to having the same brain. i think this is realistic because robot shockwave has made dozens of furries in canon. uses her parabola-calculating eyes for excellency in climbing and her noble heart for trying to out-reason shockers into not doing things. she's a clouded leopard! watching them cavort around in the trees, i see prowl flitting through that black box computer :)
