While working on my wip i realized something about the scene where Babe and Spina try to wake Eugene during the shelling when Harry got hit.

Eugene has a one man foxhole, it's big (or rather small) only for one man. Now correct me if I'm wrong, but amongst the rest of easy company, there would be at least two guys in one foxhole (I can think of Dike being alone in his foxhole as well, but I'm not counting him okay lol). And I'm thinking how it once again represents Gene distancing himself from the rest of the guys. (Or maybe I'm just looking too much into it lol but-)

Then Babe and Spina come running in and those two are the only two guys that Eugene actually bonds with, like I know he cares for all of the easy company men, but with these two it's different. With Spina, he talks about his life outside of the war, he talks about his grandma, and with the way Spina had asked about the cajun healers, I think they had talked about this before. And Babe, well, do I even have to say anything? Their relationship is just something else.

Spina and Babe just went "we know you're trying to put a wall around yourself but let me ask you about your people and let be ask you to call me by my really weird nickname, let us find you and help you get up when you're struggling, even if you didn't want that let us be there for you like you're there for us" and I think that's beautiful.

gregor x moloch is about the same morals wise as lila x bob

its a character x someone who tried to kill them, there's the age gap (im assuming moloch is likely like really old because of being a demon) and its honestly really weird how differently the fandom views them from each other. i in my own personal opinion find bob x lila to be questionable because of the power imbalance, but i just find it kind of dumb that bob x lila is viewed as the literal reincarnation of proship lucifer while gregor x moloch is viewed as completely fine, it MAY be the fact that bob knew lila as a kid that differentiates the two, but i'm just saying the two have a lot of similarities in the grand scheme of things

It's definitely the age gap. I feel like if that final scene with the photo wasn't there, Bob/Lila would be more popular since it has all the required ingredients for the slasher x final girl dynamic

Plus like. Look at ships like Bob x Dexter. Dexter is definitely around Lila's age if not younger, but people still ship it because of plausible deniability for Dexter's age

And I think another thing for Gregor/Moloch is that Gregor is also way older than Lila, I imagine that makes it more "okay" in most people's eyes

In New Horizons, if the game can't load an NPC due to their referenced model name being invalid, or for other reasons, the game will instead load a naked, unnamed Bob in their place as a failsafe. This was likely a dummy NPC used for testing reasons.
