Ok but what if Padme died before she was “meant to”???????? Like everything seems fine and then- Anakin senses it in the middle of yet another battle. He felt her die and there was nothing he could do. Nobody else sensed parked death but Ahsoka and Obi-Wan did sense his wave of shock and sadness that was quickly buried as he tried to tell himself that it wasn’t true. It might have been something else or Perhaps a sith trick to distract him from the fight. She had to be ok. Once they were back on the cruiser, anakin basically vanished. Around a half hour later, Obi-Wan decides to look for him. He was worried about whatever it is his best friend sensed that made him react like that. By the time Obi-Wan found him, Anakin was sobbing in a dark, barely used storage room of sort where he thought nobody would look for him. Padme had died. He was right. When Obi-wan asked him what happened, he didn’t trust himself to speak so he passed Obi-Wan a com opened to holonet news article announcing the death. after that, everything was a blur. Anakin told him that he and Padme were married and practically begged him to not tell so he wouldn’t be kicked out of the order. Obi-Wan tried to help, to comfort and calm his former padawan. After that, Anakin never really seemed the same. The Jedi doesn’t really notice (or care about) these seemingly subtle changes in his personality but the people who actually know him and care about him definitely do. Ahsoka tries to find out why he’s acting differently by trying to get Obi-Wan to tell her but Obi-Wan wont out of fear of loosing Anakins trust. Ahsoka only figures out why her (now) former master was acting different a few years after the order collapses because of order 66, and after the empire has risen. Thanks to dumb luck, they both went to the same planet to hide out on.
