Happy Mother's Day!

To all the mother's out there on Simblr, I hope you have a beautiful day! To celebrate, I thought I'd share some of the new mothers that have popped up in my story/gameplay since the new infants showed up!

SimDonia Royal Family

Lillian, Alvin and their twins - Paola and Paolo! Their children's names were inspired by their honeymood trip to Monte Vista (where the twins were concieved lol). The happy family live in a beautiful Monte Vistan inspired Estate in Hallow Slough.

Rosalie, James, Stephanie, and James Jr! The family likes to enjoy a laid-back life and is not in the public eye too much because they're home enjoying their family! They live in a manor in Ophelia close to water so James can always be able to fish.

Katrina, Adam, their son, Thomas, adopted daughter, Stacy, Kara, and Katrina is pregnant with twins! Although they were the last to wed, they wasted no time expanding their family. The couple always wanted to adopt and have a big family. Soon, this family of 5 will be a family of 7! They live in a very eco-friendly estate with it's own farm.

The Wu/Kealoha Family

May, Mateo, their adopted son Evan, Mateo Jr. and Tyler! Mateo is a Sulani conservationist while May continues her career in interior design although she hasn't worked a lot since the boys came. Honestly, adjusting to being parents has been hard for them as they try to find their balance. May always wanted to adopt which she did and she also wanted to try for a girl, but the couple agreed that three is enough.

Eva, Tanner, their irish twins, Edgar and Allan their adopted daughter (Tanner's niece) Hannah! Also in Sulani, the couple live a hectic life! Starting with adopting Hannah after Tanner's sister passed away from narcotics. Soon after the couple found out they were pregnant, and then just 10 months later another bundle of joy joined the family. Eva's influencer career is currently paying the bills while Tanner struggles to get his degree while managing a family. But, he's hopeful that he will have a degree and great job very soon.

Rylee, Lawrence, and their twins Melany and Savannah! The face of Black Excellence are Lawyer Lawrence, Professor Rylee and their adorable twin girls! Rylee's parents have been super involved which has helped a lot. Lawrence is definitely hoping they will eventually try for a boy, but they are currently content watching the girls learn and grow.

sorry to ffxivlovepost always anyway Man the way the devs & game did so good in making an mc that is Basically a blank-slate for the players, and there's so many opportunities to make your oc However you like but. the game itself adds so much story and character to that blank-slate guy. amazing

WEDDING BELLS YALL

and brainrot. I've been sketching these ideas out for like, a year. And done nothing with them until this point

this has been festering. in my mind.

*note: I didn't get around to drawing it, but I imagine Sun, Moon, and Y/n say their vows at the Bell place thingie that I need to reread in the fic. Y'know, the place Moon climbs up to, to get away from y/n. Yeh they declare their love up there and smoochies*

Before moving forward, I'm gonna rant about outfits

this is the outfit that I base Sun and Moon's wedding look on because I just think it fits so well. I share this so you guys see the vision and forgive my inexperience with drawing these folds

Also, I went through several variations of what Y/n would wear before settling on this bc nothing that came up when I searched "gender neutral wedding gear" really fit

Wanted a mix between gown and suit and y'know this ended up being more suit but I like it a lot so we're going with that. It also came to me in a vision so that has to say something.

(Ok but I did envision Y/n having a dress similar to this one character's dress in Bad Guys but I couldn't draw it so I scrapped it)

(ok some details stayed but most of the concept had to go)

I'm sure there are plenty of fun things that can be included into this wedding, or edited, once more is revealed of the characters and their relationships

and who would be wedding guests is a little more up in the air, for instance and... who'd be able to show up in the first place considering unknown state of... living

MASSIVE TOTK STORY SPOILERS

Made some quickly colored sketches based on my thoughts and playthrough of totk now that I've reached the end of the main story (in 65 hours over 10 days...)

Explaining in order of appearance and also delivering thoughts opinions and spoilers on most things:

So since Sonia gets got and Rauru self sacrifices, and also Zelda shares a blood connection with them, they had to have had kids by the time Zelda got there. And I imagine she spent alot of time with them, since so much happens in those memories, so I like to think the kids and her got along. And I also image that these kids gotta look wild based on being half Zonia half Hylian. Wild looking halfling children left orphaned by Ganondorf.

Zelda gets saved from dragon form at the end, hoorah, however I think she should have kept some of the more dragon like features. I swear I'm not a furry but I just really like funky character designs. Something something how its become part of her something something I need lore videos on it immediately. Also a little Link mashup outfit (my favorite so far, pairing a horn with normal clothing)

So the sage avatars are like physical beings, hence why enemies can shoot at them and why they vanish when in villages in order to not scare people ig. Which to me implies that when you complete a sage dungeon with other sage avatars out, that actual sage can see them. While this has plentiful comedic potential, I do think Riju would be the only one to actually question it though. Also, I call the avatars "my shadow clone goons" or just goons for short, since they do like all my fighting for me. I sit back and block and they do all the work. Extra shout out to Tulin, I think he's killed more dungeon bosses than I have. I didn't wanna spoil Mineru to people so I just collectively call them my Goon Squad.

I thought it was really sweet how Zelda seems to have gotten a chance at having caring parental figures in Sonia and Rauru. I also think it's funny that the closest equivalent that I think Link has is in Purah. Who, when I got all the memories (and thus knew of the imposter and the fate of Zelda) and got the master sword, Link just straight up didn't share any of this until AFTER he got Mineru. Like. Buddy. All these people are worried about Zelda but you SAW THE MEMORY of Ganondorf using a puppet Zelda, and the memory of Zelda becoming a dragon. Like. He just chooses to keep those to himself until someone else brings it up. Straight up iconic. You keep all your secrets to yourself, little man. But it's funny how Purah literally had a line like "You knew all of this?! When were you gonna tell me?!" Lol

I have a lot of thoughts on this game, both good and bad, about the story, lore, mechanics, ect that I may make a post about eventually. However I do know that I'll probably make art of like every single new character eventually bc I dearly love them all (I especially think Yona has a cute design)! Anyways slay fun game I love it I shall continue to play 9/10

all of your inuokko art is so lovely it’s hard to pick just one!! i loved the ex-idol concept that was so perfect for inumaki, and the baseball and college aus are adorable too! we love mutual pining in this house 🥰

thank you so much for your kind words ❤️ i'm so happy to hear you liked the ex-idol toge and baseball player yuta au hehe that was so much fun to do. now that you mention college aus (which i also LIVEEE for), would it not be cute if they used to crush on each other when they were college students!! music major toge was part of the dance club and spent a lot of time on campus for practice, same for yuta who had been a prodigy baseball player his whole life. from his club's practice spot, toge had a convenient view of watching yuta practice (as did many other students haha, man always had an audience). from observation and also through word of mouth, he knew that yuta was a very sweet person, friend and teammate. he took care of his team well and everyone looked up to him. toge was inspired by his drive and it motivated him to try his best too.

for yuta it was a much more private experience. while toge would sometimes just join the crowd watching yuta or sit somewhere alone on a day with less people, yuta was intensely shy. he came across his school's dance club profile on social media one fine day and that's when he first saw toge. 30 minutes of doom scrolling later on their page and it was over for him...let's just say toge was a really good dancer with lots of charm and personality in his style (and also has a little fanclub of his own!).

despite them mutually pining for one another from afar, they unfortunately only ever interacted once. they happened to both be on their way out of school, and it was the day before yuta and his team went off to the all japan university baseball championship. toge's got a good luck charm for him but is way too nervous to actually approach him. luckily for toge, yuta accidentally drops his student ID. and the little opportunist within toge comes alive and dives to grab it before yuta can even do it himself (he still cringes about this moment years later). yuta's brain is also doing an internal system crash but somehow doesn't combust when toge very calmly hands him his ID back with the charm underneath. he then walks off in what seems to be the fastest speed yuta has ever witnessed. after the moment is over, yuta uncovers the good luck charm tucked under his ID and then, he combusts.

it doesn't get better yet, they don't meet again for a long time. yuta and his team go on to win the championship, but when he returns to campus with all the glory and confidence in the world (to finally speak to toge), he can't find him anywhere. tldr: toge got scouted by a really good music label and got whisked away to trainee life at 19 in the period of time yuta was away for championships; it all happened very quickly bc toge was quite naive and dropped out of school for a shot at his dream career) (why do i feel like im writing a such a cliche romance plot !! haha)

we'll get to the bad parts immediately. toge knew trainee life would be hard, but he was willing to give it his all to debut. except things didn't really improve after debut. before he could even notice all the red flags, it all came crashing down at 23 when toge had been overworked to the point of damaging his vocal cords. he left the group shortly after, and eventually left the label all together. as for yuta, he was scouted to play for a foreign team and left japan. his career was a success overseas and he'd attained the status as japan's pride. all the things he'd dreamt of as a kid playing baseball with his dad had come true. but in true yuta nature, he was like, yknow what, i think i've done it all and i really miss my friends and family. so i'm gonna move my life back to japan! bye bye! (not gonna give him the successful athlete sustains career damaging injury plot no yuta closed the curtains with his own hands simply bc he missed his friends) i think at this point (age 25) he's only thought of toge from time to time as this sweet boy from his college days that was out of his league, he hasn't heard or seen him in forever either. that is until he returns to japan, gets like a million brand deals, collaboration offers and of course, invites to events and parties for the elites and celebs of japan.

a few weeks after he returned to tokyo, he's invited to a private party to celebrate team japan's success at the winter olympics, with his best friend rika as his plus one. he meets a lot of big name athletes there and quickly becomes friends with maki zenin, one of japan's best speed skaters, and yuji itadori, one of players of the national ice hockey team. (geez i wonder who maki's plus one is)

when he feels himself go past tipsy and approaching drunk, he excuses himself to the balcony for a breather. he's known to be extremely talkative after too much alcohol and he doesn't really feel like pissing off his new friends. when he steps out, he sees a single person smoking by themselves outside and cringes internally (he hates the smell!). but he finds that he won't be stepping back inside so soon, because somehow, he's met with the very beautiful face of inumaki toge.

i started writing this back in the last week of december going on into january bc we had so many karasuno bdays back then so uhhh TECHNICALLY this is a late bday post honoring like four people LMAO but let's go!!

during kageyama's first birthday at karasuno he gets a mysterious series of texts from an unknown number that goes like > happy birthday > not that this means you're forgiven > just thought it was the right thing to do > i know it's your first since. well. you know > you don't have to text back or anything!!!! > fuck fuck fuck just pretend this never happened BYE

he brings up it up two years later when he, kindaichi, and kunimi are better friends and kindaichi buries his red face in his hands and screams and kageyama isn't sure why

kunimi pats him on the back and tells him not to worry about it

ennoshita has a playlist that is solely just like white noise and creaking sounds and generally just things that would make you shit your pants alone in the dark and when asked why he just goes "it's the only way i can feel anything inside"

tsukki will NEVER admit it but he ASPIRES to be the level of deadpan that ennoshita is

tanaka: "so . . . why do you like him again?" ennoshita, watching a video he recorded of futakuchi walking straight into a lamppost bc he was playing pokemon go: "he makes me laugh"

no joke i think ennoshita is a dateko celebrity bc everyone knows about the guy that futakuchi kenji pines over bc futakuchi kenji is just known in a million ways and maybe like 90% of them are Not Good

a third-year has futakuchi by the collar and they're like "all right PUNK get ready to have your lights punched out you'll be seeing stars when i'm done with you" and futakuchi just sighs longingly and goes "ennoshita has eyes like stars . . ."

daichi is that type of upperclassman who knows very single friend of his juniors' but not in like a cool older sibling way he does it in a cringefail modern parent kind of way

kogane used to be soooooo scared of him before finding out what a huge dork he is

actually kogane isn't scared of asahi bc he's so used to aone and asahi cries over it

(sorry for plugging in dateko so much i just genuinely think they have such a fun relationship with karasuno i ADORE it)

onagawa: "man idk how you do it" narita: "do what?" onagawa: "being the only normal person on your team"

yeah no narita is carrying the weight of the world as the only person with the brain cell on karasuno

sometimes it's ennoshita but he's been dead inside since first year so

suga tells the first years he knows martial arts but all he really did was go to one (1) judo club demonstration during his second year of middle school and somehow managed to flip the captain over by sheer luck and never tried again

for takeda's birthday everyone teams up to get him a really nice fountain pen, a classical poetry book, and a quality bottle of sake. for ukai's birthday tsukki leads a powerpoint presentation on why smoking is bad for you and that he really should stop, backed up with everyone else standing behind him with their arms crossed and nodding along

okay that and they also get him a really cute apron (embroidered with crows!!) for him to wear around the store and a bag of good coffee

kiyoko has all - and i mean ALL - the snacks from the local convenience store on a tier list and when the vbc asked how the fuck she managed to do that she just went "my track team was a lot weirder than you guys"

actually the reason why daichi asked kiyoko to be the manager wasn't because kiyoko was the only one with no club activities going on it was because she gave asahi a hair tie when nobody else would and asahi had been trying to befriend her since (and also return said hair tie) but was too nervous to make the first move

asahi: "noooooo daaaaaaaiiiichiiiiiiiiii i caaaaaaaan't i'm so awkward and embarrassing!!!!" daichi, with all the confidence of a fifteen-year-old constantly winging it: "it's okay, i've got this!"

yeah he's just as surprised as you are that it worked out

especially considering he pitched it to her like a used car salesman

kiyoko carries a lot of hair ties with her when she starts just for asahi and when he leaves the team she doesn't stop bc she tells suga, daichi, and the second-years, "he'll come back, just wait and see"

Hahah I usually don't put my thoughts here as soon as they appear cos I don't want to make any statements in the heat of the moment since I know people on tumblr tend to grasp onto everything they read and take it as facts. BUT nevertheless here are my thoughts on Max pushing Charles off every time they start on the front row. This is gonna be a mess.

(I do not know how to write a short response)

I like everyone else was slightly surprised that Charles was so easy to forgive Max after he apologized in Vegas. I genuinely thought this time he would at least.. discuss it in a more heated manner (I'm thinking max and checo in Austria after the sprint). I wasn't sure about the state of their relationship after and I know it would not be austria 2019 but I did not expect charles to brush it off the way he did.

Thinking about it now after the race is over I kinda understand why he did brush it off. It did not affect his race that much, he was able to retake the lead, he was gunning for a win anyway, Max got the penalty, it was all fine. The safety car was the bigger issue so of course he's gonna focus on that instead of put his already new and fragile relationship with max in jeopardy over this.

That being said, I do not condone Max acting like this every time. It says something that when the race started before t1 even happened I was expecting Charles to be pushed. I think Max was genuinely scared in Austin but when Charles brushed that one off he is now more relaxed in trying riskier moves with Charles. And the thing is, Charles doesn't care now. He's car is shit, he rarely has a chance to win when Max does this so it's easy for Charles to say "it's okay this Max and Race Max are different, I want to maintain this friendship so I will forgive" now that he's p7 and essentially not fighting for anything in the championship.

But would Charles feel the same way if they were fighting for a championship? I don't think so. And it worries me because by that point they will be closer as friends probably and Max will try riskier moves and all of them will be brushed off by Charles but at one point I think it is bound to snap. And I'm scared that the more it goes on and the more times it happens its gonna be more serious on Charles' side. As in he's gonna be more hurt by it but also the strain in the relationship would be bigger.

I may be wrong and I may be reading them completely wrong. They may surprise me again and have a clean championship battle with no drama and there is nothing I would love more than that. And so far all I've been doing is praying for a championship battle and not thinking what that Entails but now that this has happened multiple times and now that Max has the impression that he can do what he wants on track as long as he says sorry and bats his eyelashes after, I think Max is not suddenly gonna start clean racing. He's gonna play even more dirty if they're fighting for a championship. I'm not saying Charles won't, I'm saying they both will but seeing this I do not think anymore that it's gonna be a clean battle. I'm still gonna enjoy and pray for it but with a hint of caution bc like I said what im seeing now (as cute as it is from a shipper perspective) worries me a little.

Hope this manages to paint a picture of my thoughts a little. Cos they're mostly just jumbled together pieces of "what if this happens what if that happens". But this is the general direction I'm going in. What if Max continues doing this when the stakes are higher and what if Charles doesn't take it as well as he is now when he is actually fighting for something? That's a lot of what ifs 😂 but yeah..

ah i've found something very nice

decided to read some short vns to figure out how to write one and i thought this first one i went for appropriately explicitly defined starts, middles, and endings as part of it's narrative. along with the whole time travel shebang (you play as time) i found this was a bit too appropriate for what i was deciding to write but thought hey this is the universe nudging me gently into finishing the thing.

the story starts with time all alone, and finding space. i love the whole love at first sight schtick, oh and there's an implication of fated lovers thing ("it's like i've met you before" and all that jazz)

space is very cute

i find it difficult to talk about this game without spoiling it bc it's really short and there's not much to say about the exposition apart from space being super cute (the whole thing is around ~30 mins for me, at least less than an hour)

well, to be a bit less vague, i like the story's themes of loneliness. relationships are a complex thing, and memories aren't so reliable sometimes. and people do ultimately change. we misunderstand, we discuss, we compromise. i like that the story reminds us to do our best to try not to leave anyone in our lives lonely.

oh the the fluff between the characters is great, i like a lot

OH forgot to mention the music, it's super good. it fits over the emotional parts so well, especially the true ending song geez. also there are vocal tracks in the extras using eleanor forte and they're really good i need them on like, spotify to put in a playlist (one of them is there, it wasn't my fav but this is pretty nice)

if it gets you to play it you should know you get to kiss the girls

so you have to save space from being killed by this other girl nil, and she has the power to stop you from rewinding so you gotta start at the start every time you try to save space

the whole "doing different things but always leading to the same result" (insanity) plot line is very appealing to me, and this vn has that. space is killed every time you try to reset. you reset anyway. wowza. i love that.

eventually, we find out nil and space are the same, which is implied by their similar appearances and parallels and stuff. i like that, that's cool, so at that point the goal for you is to reconcile the two of em despite them being polar opposites of each other (space is the girlfailure and nil is the girlboss)

it genuinely hurt me resetting out of the nil ending btw, i didn't get a screenshot but jeezums (nil is best girl sorry)

a few resets in you get to have this moment with space

it's great

i don't like that this kiss decides you abandon nil, though. well, you come around eventually.

you get the true beginning by talking things out with nil, making up for what you've done (even if you don't remember), and deciding not to abandon either of them. that's great, i like that a lot. talking is good.

nil is super cute

to talk a bit more, i like how nil gets so desperate to the point that time misunderstands her intentions. i think, that like happens a fair bit in real life. heck if someone forgot about me to go and have fun with someone else i would uh, die. time hears her out eventually and they come to a compromise and it all works out for the three of them. they both forgive each other. and space doesn't die (yay)

the true beginning is basically a poly ending and that makes this vn a 10/10

based off request prompt: I have a really bad fear of driving and I've been trying so hard to get over it but it's just tough, could you possibly write an Ellie x Fem! Reader where Ellie tries to help her get over her fear of driving?

a/n: i really enjoyed writing this! i'm still learning how to drive myself so this was somewhat comforting. i hope yall enjoy this oneshot! and to the person who requested it, i hope you like it as well! this shit had me screaming and crying and throwing up bc ik ellie is one of the sweetest, most gentlest, and encouraging ppl out there.

Your hands shook nervously as you sat in the passenger seat of Ellie’s car. You bounced your leg up and down as you looked outside the window at all your surroundings. Everything blurred together: the street signs, the trees, the buildings, the night sky, all of it. Ellie kept glancing at you as she drove, making sure only to do it at red lights or stop signs. She felt it’d be kind of hypocritical of her to be that kind of bad driver while trying to teach you how to drive.

She finally pulled into the extremely empty parking lot of a local store and parked. She turned towards you and saw how you continued staring at your shoes. She could always read you so easily. She turned down her music, which was a playlist you had compiled for her to play while she drived.

“Hey…you okay?” she asked. You shook your head. “Nervous?”

“Yeah.”

“It’ll be okay. I’m here to help you, alright? Why don’t you tell me what’s making you so nervous.” She offered her hand out for you, and you gladly took a hold of it. The warmth of her hands comforted you as she rubbed her thumb against your skin. It grounded you, in a way.

“I’m just…This whole driving thing, you know? It makes me anxious and scared. Shit, one wrong move and everything’s fucked. Not to mention all the other drivers that are around you and all the rules you gotta remember. And, God, don’t even get me started on freeways. You literally can’t stop. And the idea of possibly getting in an accident scares the shit out of me. So many things could go wrong. Oh, and not to mention, dealing with insurance and all those sorts of things. Parking, backing up into spaces, parallel parking.” You could keep going for hours on why driving was so scary. The idea of having a whole machine under your operation that could quite literally crash terrified you.

“You listed a lot of things,” she commented in an attempt to lighten the mood. It didn’t work. “I’m gonna start with the most obvious thing I know you’re scared about. You know, car crashes only ever happen when you’re careless or someone else is doing stupid shit. Mostly everybody driving doesn’t want to get in a crash, so they’ll do their best not to. And you’re not a careless driver, and you won’t be doing stupid shit before or while you’re driving.”

“I guess that’s true.”

“It is true. But that’s why you gotta be careful, babe, and you are. I don’t doubt you’ll be able to pay close attention to everything and maneuver around the idiots who can’t drive.”

“Okay, but what about freeways?”

“That’s what the slow lanes are for. You use them when you’re gonna go slow and when you’re a new driver. You’ll be okay.”

“It’s the fact you can’t stop and that it’s an endless stretch that scares me.”

“Think about it a different way, then. Endless freedom.”

You couldn’t help but laugh at her fearless and optimistic attitude. “Of course you’d see it that way.”

“Shit, I’d be a race car driver if I could. Sometimes I sp—Actually, forget I said that. Don’t be like me.”

“Yeah, I bet you were going to say something real insightful then.”

“I said nothing,” she insisted.

“Anyways, what about parallel parking? Or backing up into spaces in general?”

“That’s what practice is for,” Ellie replied.

“Well, what about other drivers? Some of them are such assholes.”

“Fuck other drivers. Literally just don’t care about them or the stupid shit they do, especially if it’s because they think you’re going too slow. They’re not important. You can just flip them off like me.”

“Oh, you mean the famous Ellie Williams technique?”

“Yes, exactly,” she said while smiling at you. She kissed your cheek. “Instead of thinking of all the things that scare you, look at them differently, okay? Don’t see what could go wrong, because then you’ll scare yourself. Just see it as things you want to avoid, and then they become reasons to be careful.”

“I suppose you’re right.”

“No, I am right,” she insisted.

You rolled your eyes. “Yeah, yeah, I’m sure.”

“Still nervous?” Ellie asked, looking you earnestly in your eyes.

“A little bit. I don’t know. The thought of driving makes me feel like everything’s out of my control, but also like there’s too much control in my hands. Does that make sense?”

“I get what you mean, but you can’t let yourself get caught up in that. Have some faith in yourself. You’ll do great.”

“It makes me happy you have such faith in me.”

“Of course I do! My amazing girlfriend is capable of anything. You could even pilot a spaceship.”

“That takes it a bit too far,” you laughed. She laughed a little, too, before getting somewhat serious. She moved a piece of hair behind your ear, staring at you as she was deep in thought. You watched as a smile spread across her face.

“Hey, you know how you call yourself my passenger princess? Because you sit there and look pretty, you give me directions, you handle the aux cord, and I get to touch your thighs?”

“Yeah? What about it?”

“Well, I love having you as my passenger princess, but just think about it. I could be your passenger princess.” Ellie didn’t particularly like the term for herself, but if she needed to call herself a passenger princess to encourage you, that’s what she’d do. She liked that term better for you since she loved treating you like a princess, but, hey, she saw how much your eyes lit up when she suggested the idea to you.

“Ellie, you’re a genius!”

“On occasion,” she gloated. “You’re free to put your hands all up on me.” You smiled so big, and you seemed so much happier than you did when you first pulled into the parking lot. “You ready to practice driving?”

“Yeah, just one question.”

“Let me hear it.”

“Are you even legally allowed to teach me how to drive?”

“Uh… I should be. But, if I’m not, doesn’t that make it more thrilling?”

“How long have you been driving for?”

“Well, I got my license when I was sixteen, but I learned how to when I was fourteen because Joel taught me.”

“So way before the recommended age.”

“Yeah, but that’s what made it fun,” she reminisced. “I think you have to be twenty-one to teach someone, so we’re good.”

“Okay.” You took a deep breath. “I think I’m ready.”

“Alright, let’s get to it.” Ellie opened her door and hopped out. She didn’t move to the passenger side just yet as she waited for you to round the back of her car. She opened the door wide for you to step in, and as you did so she smacked your ass.

“Ellie!” you yelled. She just laughed at you.

“Sorry, couldn’t help it,” she said, then walked over to the passenger side and jumped in. “Alright, babe, show me what you got. It’ll be okay. I’ll guide you every step of the way.”

You nodded as you took the car out of park and put it into reverse. You back out of the parking spot slowly, then shift back to drive. You made sure to keep a steady foot on the brakes, and in general you were careful as you shifted between that pedal and the gas.

“What now?” you asked. Your heart sped up somewhat, but that was until you felt Ellie rub your shoulders.

“You’ll be okay. Let’s just try driving around. Can you do that for me, baby?”

“Yeah.” You slowly drove straight, then when you reached the end of the row of parking spaces, you made a turn into the next area. Ellie stayed silent as she watched you.

“You know more than you think, love. You’re doing great.” You made another turn after that, then another, until Ellie spoke again. “You wanna try parking? You can do it, babe.”

“Sure, I’ll try.” You were nervous as you drove forward until you found a spot you wanted. You were careful as you curved Ellie’s car to the left and parked in the spot, making sure not to get too close to the line that separated the two sides. Once you did that you practiced backing up and parking into the space behind it. After you finished you put the car in park and let out a huge breath. “Oh, God, that was stressful.”

“But you did it!” Ellie cheered. “I’m so proud of you! See, it wasn’t so bad.”

“Well, there weren’t any other people.”

“Don’t discredit yourself like that. The way you drove right now, that’s how you should drive when it comes to being around other people. Don’t let them intimidate you. You've been learning how to drive and practicing for a while, and what you did just now was perfect, okay? Perfect just like you.” You could faint because of the way she looks at you. “Next time you practice, I’ll be with you as you drive around other people, okay? And that can be whenever you wanna do it.”

“Alright.” You nodded as you tried to gather your breath and not get anxious again. Maybe if Ellie was with you it wouldn’t be so bad. You could do it with her by your side. “We can do that in a few days, if you want.”

“I’m off work on Thursday. We can do it then.”

“That works for me.”

“Good.” Ellie looked out the window and stared at the moon before checking the time. 11:34 P.M. “To celebrate,” she said excitedly, “let’s go get milkshakes or something. On me.”

“Really?” you asked.

“Yes. You did such a good job, so of course we’re gonna celebrate it. For the time being, you’re still my passenger princess, so I gotta treat you like it.”

“If you insist.” You undid your seatbelt and hopped out the car as fast as you could. You decided to wait for Ellie as she came out from the passenger side to the driver’s side. You pulled her in by wrapping your arms around her neck. Her hands immediately found your waist as you kissed her in thanks, but also with love. “Thank you for helping me out today.”

“Of course, babe. It was my pleasure.” She gave you another small kiss. “Now hop back in so I can buy you a milkshake.” You unwrapped your arms from her neck, and in the split second she turned around, you smacked her ass harder than she did for you. “Ow!” she yelled, covering her ass as she fell into her seat. “[Y/N], what the fuck?”

“Payback,” you said, as you sauntered over to the passenger side. After you got back in your seat and put your seatbelt on, you noticed Ellie glaring at you. “What?” you asked.

“I changed my mind. No more milkshakes.” She crossed her arms and shook her head comically.

“What? No, please, baby, we have to get milkshakes.”

“Should’ve thought about that before you smacked my ass. That’s my job,” she scolded.

“Are you serious?” you asked.

She shook her head and started laughing. “No. Now where do you wanna get milkshakes from?”

hi ive been following for a bit and noticed ur playing ffxiv and are in heavensward! i just wanted to stop by to say i recommend playing dark knight; the quests are fun and i think u would like the characters in there. as a heavensward job, the quests from 50-60 help round out the setting a bit more (wrt the dragonsong war, the systems in place in ishgard, those w power vs the victims, etc) which i think makes it a good job to pick up while progressing. it helps that theres some p funny shit that happens too. i <3 moogles

so i'm going to talk about my latest ex specifically bc i think he exemplifies what i'm most trying to get at here. he's a uphal moon, krittika asc, and pbp sun. and like all my other exes he was a dom too but he took it to lengths i had yet to seen till him.

ACCIDENTALLY DELETED THIS ENTIRE BLOCK OF TEXT ABT THEM ONFGFGG .. basically alecto has been cast out from pureblood society due to her family’s cowardly history and as a result is v poor . alecto is one of the only people outside of her family who sees her for who she is and validates her identity outside of the performance she puts on. and simultaneously alecto is one of the few people who doesn’t put any expectations onto lily . she doesn’t need lily to do anything but be herself and lot lily that is so RARE, because everyone wants her to be a prodigy and to be this big savior and hero and she doesn’t want that!! she wants to do her own thing!! and then alecto betrays lily by joining the deatheaters and it’s the worst possible thing she could’ve done because this betrayal has already happened to her. so not only has she joined the hate group that wants to kill her, she made lily look like an idiot for trusting her . and alecto doesn’t regret it . she craves power and glory over even her own Actual desires . she wants her family to be safe and will do anything to put them back on the map. at a point they both end up just wanting to hurt the other so much they almost die, and then nurse them back to health just so the other can feel how Hurt they are. alecto by lily not understanding why she needs to do this and lily because she did it. they want to be the other’s punisher, and their savior. they want to be the butcher who takes the pig to his own table and cuts the head off in a clean go: a mercy not provided by anyone else but a death nonetheless. real toxic yuri. alecto and lily would go to eachothers houses over break during the hogwarts years (alectos father isn’t a blood supremacist, he put that behind him due to a bad relationship w his parents . they r normal until alecto hates how it has caused themto fall out of good graces and tries to fix it.) alecto talks to lily about her dead mom and lily tells her about petunia. they have a genuine cute romance to the point lily is so shocked their 100% doomed relationship actually meets doom. she was genuinely caught off guard and that’s the part she hates the most .

in like a modern muggle au tho i have a clear vision of lily being a successful author who interviews alecto: masters in arts and language for her new book and ends up becoming alectos accidental sugar mommy bc alecto is dirt poor in every universe. amycus calls her a sugar baby and alecto plucks a leaf off his favorite plant (a crime against him worse than death) . big fan of the sugar daddy/mommy is the bottom trope and that is them here . sorry sorry . alecto leading service top nation but only w lily .::: she wants Lily to feel amazing all the time and nothing else . but also it isn’t ur typical sugar baby arrangement where it’s all sex n stuff …. they have a genuine connection and lily pays her to go on walks around a park and to play with her and amycus’ weird pets and pays her a “room and board” everytime she stays the night . just because she can. and she loves alecto and wants to spoil her as much as alecto wants to spoil her. it’s the worst thing to ever happen to alecto bc she is chronically Anti “charity for herself”…. but lily gets what she wants !!! anyways they are deeply in love .

what sets taekook apart from some of the other pairings? for example yoonmin hung out a LOT one on one over chp 2 and are also super cuddly/cute with eo, same w jihope. so why is it that we deem taekooks interactions as romantic but yoonmin/jihopes are not? i don’t actually believe in yoonmin or jihope but theyre pairings that i’ve noticed have also hung out a lot separate from the group and talk abt eo a lot. bc ik we have mentioned one of the things that solidified our belief in tkk was seeing how much they chose to hang out w eo in chp 2. but what exactly is the difference between those two pairings’ interactions and taekooks?

Two things for me: the history and Bighit playing weird games.

History

Other tkkrs who've done this longer might be able to comment on what chapter 2 looked like from their perspective but I've only been around for chapter 2. I've had to go back.

What I've personally taken from it is that all the stuff that happened in chapter 1 - obvious attraction, drama, love songs, 2018 that looks like it was the two of them having a bad time but together, touchy feely Grammys, "members and JK" - feels like it's solidified by chapter 2. Because what haters called fanservice is now very much their private time. Off schedule they're close. When ITS is making up storylines about them being distant and awkward, the reality of hiatus shows that they're not only close but so close that JK hangs with Tae's best friends and invites Tae's people to his album party despite seemingly nobody else getting their friends invited.

Bighit Games

If someone said to me "Peach, there are two couples in BTS", I'd guess the other as Yoonmin. So let's take them as an example of a pair that spent a lot of time together off schedule, have clear high regard and care for each other, potential attraction (I see it, other tkkrs don't), consistent contact over the years... So why don't I expend energy on them?

I think because I believe there's an intervention from Bighit regarding TKK that doesn't make sense. When have Yoonmin ever looked off camera then separated? When have they had a weird conversation on camera that doesn't stand up to timeline scrutiny? No forced narrative. No pretence that the other isn't there with them.

If it turns out Taekook were never a couple, I'd have to find Bighit staff and just be like "what WAS that about?" because it's the Streisand Effect: we're looking because they're telling us not to look.
