ive been seeing a new wave of transmedicalists lately I think we gotta start being vocal again about how nasty they are. you don't need to take hormones or have surgery to be a trans person. changing your name and pronouns is gender affirming care. wearing new clothes and hair and makeup is part of transitioning too. you dont need to pass to be trans, you don't need to be male or female.
nonbinary, agender, genderfluid, genderqueer people are trans too if that's a label they want to use for themselves. and anyone who says otherwise is a piece of shit. it's not "anti-transitioning" to say so, it's anti-telling other people what to do with their bodies. it's pro-minding your own fucking business and letting people do what they want with their gender and treating them with compassion and enthusiasm

I find it funny that when Maggie got separated from Nova and everything artino related, even her LAST NAME got WHITEWASHED
Not only does she lose her identity as an artino/that connection, gets paler probably due to being scrawny & living conditions, BUT HER LAST NAME ALSO CHANGES TO LITERALLY "WHITE" PFFFFTTT
#but yeah I hc that if she had grown up normally and in better conditions than she probably grew up in in canon#she'd have more melanin than the books describe#I think this even happened with nova where she began to be described as tan in Cinder's adventure#which isn't canon technically but I think we can infer that after spending more time with the renegades she got healthier#renegades trilogy#renegades fandom#maggie white#margaret white#evie artino#I mean she could still be white when she's healthy since I don't think the books have given much reference to what her parents look like#but it'd be neat to me that this is why#plus when she gets healthier she looks more like an artino than before and its def more obvious
