I am fucking done trying to explain my food sensitivity to my mom.

I keep on telling her that I can't eat certain food because of the texture and that the store bought stuff is better because it has better texture, has the same taste the vast majority of the time and is easier to prepare. I know I have issues with not eating and not having a healthy diet, and I'm trying to improve my diet, but it's not as easy as just stop eating the processed food and everything to homemade. I can't just pick up a new safe food by just picking a food and sticking with it. I did find two ways to eat vegetables but I can't use the blender and she often doesn't have the time or the energy to make a green drink, and she doesn't like me eating fruit snacks with the spinach she gets which gets slimy and unbearable (even with the fruit snacks) in a few days.

My mom had ADHD so you would think she would understand, but this isn't the only thing she tries to push on me trying to help.

My mom doesn't laugh a lot, usually the most you get out of her is a small chuckle or a quick ha.

I randomly say shit that I know would make her laugh. (Situational comedy) So when she doesn't I can't stop myself and I just yell,

"I'm funny dammit!"

Going to an arcade is so so much more run when you go WITH someone and do everything together. I forced my brother to play piano tiles, DDR and air hockey with me and we might have done a slight bit of cheating. And it's the most fun I've ever had at an arcade. I got one of the little mochi squishy dinosaurs and a little rubber triceratops.

As a child I used to hit my friends to show affection and I wonder how nobody went “yeah no this kid is pretty autistic”
