Who else is with me on my theory that there is cat autism and there is dog autism.

Cat autism:

- usually introverted (exceptions can be made)

- Stare into the void and forget that you're supposed to be taking rapid notes in class

- Switching very quickly from understimulated to overstimulated

- Sleep>>>>>

- Hissing (but most of the time you have to mask it bc then people think you're weird for doing that 😃)

- "How to let someone know you appreciate them when you dont know how"

- Seen as rude and insensitive

Dog autism:

- Usually extroverted (again, exceptions can be made)

- Unintentionally loud

- "I will do anything for you fav person"

- If you give them anything even if it's a fucking gum wrapper they will cherish it for their entire life

- Blurts out thoughts

- Seen as over affectionate and emotional

BOTH:

- Just screaming/yelping as communication

- Gift giving

- DESPISE fireworks/any sudden loud noise

IF THERE ARE ANY OTHER IDEAS Y'ALL HAVE REBLOG I WANNA HEAR THEM (yes some of this is taken from one of Dannyphantom.exe's videos)

I know this because me and my other IRL autistic friend are a PRIME example of why I believe this theory

(EDIT: also I believe there are subcategories. Like black cats and orange cats, golden retrievers and huskies, etc)

MY THEORIES ABOUT ACHT'S EYES

Spoiler warning!!!

Acht's eyes are seen for a brief moment during side order's gameplay, and later where seen from pictures of Acht when they were not sanitized yet.

But thanks to @splatoongamefiles for providing more details of Dedf1sh's model, their eyes where confirmed to be of a Yellow colour.

But why are their eyes like this tho?

As far as we know about sanitized octarians, they were almost all potrayed with black scleras and teal irises (the sanitized octoling's eyes were never revealed, but they were probably the same as other octarians. Many fans got the memo since i saw a lot of fanarts of them with those eyes).

During Octo expension, Dedf1sh was said to be no different then any other sanitized octolings, drained from all willpower and no memories of who they were, being nothing then one of Tartar's pawns. Their passion for music was the only thing that Acht wasn't stripped from, so they could only play their tracks that echoed thought the Deep sea Metro.

In Side Order however, Acht doesn't seem to be this mindless pawn in the slightest anymore, their green skin and blue hair being the only thing that remain from their sanitization. Strangely, their eyes returned to their original colours. That's it. That's all that changed of Acht's appearence.

Why? How?

WORRY NOT!!! I THINK I KNOW WHY!!

First and foremost, Marina has got to have to have something to do with Acht's redemption arc since the two were close friends during their time in the army.

And also, the reason of Acht's eyes going back to their original colours is it may be because they were no longer under Tartar's control.

The black scleras and teal irises indicates that a sanitized octarian is still brain-washed by the "test-subjects-based ink", and their purpose is only to follow Tartar's orders.

What could back up this theory is agent 3's sanitization. It was only partial, but 3's eyes were still different from their usual colours, but when they woke up after being knucked out by agent 8, their eyes were back to normal.

That being said...

I have 3 possible theories about Acht returning to their senses and restore their memory:

Theory #1:

Following her escape from the Octarian army, Marina was trying to reach out Acht since they left as well a long time ago, but they never responded to any of her messages.

After Tartar was defeated, Marina went to wander the Deep Sea Metro. She must have listened to the music echoing and recognized the voice of her lost friend despite the fact that it was affected by the sanitization.

Marina went on a searching spree across every corner of the metro to find a sign of them, until she finally found them in their sanitized state. Marina had no choice but to bail them out of their hellhole.

She was determined to help Acht regain their sense of self and catch up on them.

Marina never told Acht about the Memverse though.

Theory #2:

After Tartar was defeated, Acht was still working as a DJ at the Deep Sea Metro for a while. Then maybe because they were not under Tartar's control any longer, the sanitization of their mind slowly died out, their eyes fading back to their usual hues, and they were able to flee containment, seeking to restore their memories.

After Acht fully regained themselves, they ran away from the Metro to find Marina. Unfortunately, Order caught them and brought them to the Memverse.

Theory #3:

Acht was still under the influence of the "test-subjects-based ink" even if we beat Tartar, but Order somehow found a way to get throught their mind to be put into the Memverse.

just some addisons/spamton thoughts

so ive been swirling spamton’s speech quirks around in my head like a toilet with a broken handle and i think i’ve come up with a silly headcannon for it

(working with the assumption that spamton is/was an addison, i like the concept and it gives me good design ideas)

i think advertising not just being a job for the addisons, but a part of their biology is so neat. like go girl you were created for one thing and one thing only? and you can’t even do that properly? amazing cringefail potential. but anyways i think those ad interruptions are something that the whole addison species (?) can get

calling them pop–ups, like hiccups, and they’re sorta like a symptom of worse sicknesses like their cold/flu equivalent. i would think of it sort of similar to a vocal tic, but more like involuntary replacement of the words they’re trying to say with whats basically the first advertisement to ‘pop up’ if you searched for a phrase online. they can also come out as one-time things if someone gets really worked up or is too exhausted to think.

maybe its a really stigmatized thing?? idk what if its like addisons cooties where they all think it’s contagious and its like an embarrassing thing if it happens? maybe it makes people think you’re

but i think, with spamton’s story, as he loses more and more of his humanity (and in my head, becomes more physically puppet-like as he gets manipulated) it would be cool if he perchance lost his ability to communicate clearly as well. idk might just be me though

Autism Problems 2

I hate the fact that when I ask a question because I am curious, neurotypicals see it as I’m an idiot, being rude, or offending them. Yesterday I asked my mother if she had put the proper amount of ingredients into the food, because it seemed like such a small amount, and she got pissed and automatically assumed I think she’s stupid. I didn’t call her stupid, and it wasn’t my intention to make her feel that way either. The worst part was when my father came over and asked me why I had asked her that. Am I seriously not allowed to ask questions or be curious? If something doesn’t seem right, shouldn’t I make sure it was correct? She always perceives my questions as rude or offensive, when in turn I’m just trying to understand things. I haven’t told anyone I’m autistic, so she doesn’t know, but that shouldn’t be an excuse. I just want to understand things properly, and to be understood, but with the way people react to my behaviors and traits and just me in general, it’s highly unlikely that it will ever happen.

ok. welcome to my completely unorganized collection of thoughts about conrad veidt and how he was actually the coolest guy to exist ever

so one of my favorite conrad veidt fun facts is he was carl laemmles first choice to play dracula in the 1931 movie (wayyy before lugosi was even considered) but he ended up turning it down because he wasn’t super good at english at the time and didn’t really want to leave europe again…such a bummer though just think we almost had a bauhaus song about him…

he was in THE best movie ever made (the man who laughs) and he should have won an oscar for that performance as gwynplaine im not kidding.

according to lil dagover conrad veidt would stay in character between scenes while filming caligari and would occasionally scare the other actors and i think that’s so funny it makes me giggle so much

conrad veidt got paid more than everyone else in casablanca despite only being in the movie for like 20 minutes because he was just that cool

i’ve mentioned this so many times but he was in the first pro lgbt film ever !!!!! but also something i don’t see mentioned very often is in 1926 he was in a pro-choice film (kreuzzug des weibes) !!!

ok so another fun thing is that in addition to the movie there’s also a radio version of a woman’s face with bette davis as anna holm and conrad veidt plays torsten once again and let me tell you he puts 110% into that performance if you haven’t listened to it please do it’s on youtube and it’s life changing. also fun fact a woman’s face was his favorite of his sound films

also everyone knows this but i always have to mention how conrad veidt was super openly anti nazi and after fleeing germany with his wife in 1933 he starred in so many anti nazi films and donated his life savings to the british war effort it is so messed up he died before it ended

also. just look at him. absolutely slaying.

in conclusion conrad veidt was the best actor to never win an oscar and basically the coolest guy ever. everytime i learn new trivia about him i gain even more respect for him

Sirius Black the 3rd

We all know Sirius - the star from the dog constellation - is the brightest star in the sky it's almost twice as bright as the star Canopus which is the second brightest star in the sky. (which is quite fitting for Sirius Black, the brightest in the family, Sirius does translate to glowing or scorching, and spoilers but the man can turn into a dog). What's insanely interesting to me about the name of Sirius (and his animal form) and his father Orion though is that Canis Major (the constellation that Sirius is a part of) and canis minor are known as Orion's hunting dogs.

Regulus Arcturus Black

The star Regulus is ranked 21 on the list of brightest stars, Regulus just so happens to be the brightest star in the Leo constellation (the fucking lion constellation, and Regulus did die because of an act of Bravery, to betray not only his family but the dark lord to try and stop him, knowing the risk of death) not to mention the star is also known as Qalb Al Asad, from the Arabic phrase meaning 'the heart of the lion'. The traditional name for the star 'Regulus' is Latin for prince/little King, more of its other names in different languages translates to things like The king, the great, the mighty. Another interesting thing is that it isn't just one star, it's actually a star system made up of around 4 stars that orbit each other due to their gravitational attraction. But while his first name is ranked 21 his middle name Arcturus (and yes I know his middle name is after his grandfather but this is about Reggie) is ranked as the 4th brightest star and is a red giant, it's also incredibly huge compared to our sun

Orion Black

(Again canis major and minor are literally his dogs.) In Greek mythology Orion was a huntsman placed among the stars by Zeus as a constellation. Another interesting link between Sirius and Orion is That in ancient Egypt, the stars of Orion were regarded as a god by the name of Sah who was known as the father of the gods. This was because Orion rises before Sirius, the star whose heliacal rising was the basis for the Solar Egyptian calendar

(Heliacal rising - the phenomenon of when a star first becomes visible above the eastern horizon just before sunrise after a complete orbit of the Earth around the Sun. What's also interesting is that the most historically import of these "morning stars" Is the rising of Sirius)It's actually very interesting to me that Orion and Sirius are named after those specific stars, they have quite a few connections to each other.

Bear Chimera Transmutation Circle for Sam

I wanted to go into more detail on how I created the transmutation circle for Sam!

Here is the transmutation circle! I am thinking of cleaning it up but this is the first one I drew!

Below the cut is my explanation of how I created this circle! (It's pretty long so I suggest reading it if you have the energy too, or just skim through it! There are helpful links and explanations on the process I did to create one!)

Before I get into my explanation, the link below is the basics of alchemy in the show!

Alchemy Fullmetal Alchemist

First off, I started researching what goes into a transmutation circle. I stumbled across a couple of sites but one helped me in particular! Click here vvv

Analysis on Riza's Tattoo

This helped me understand what goes into the research behind transmutation circles. It uses science, art, and belief! Thankfully, science is a strong suit for me so I quickly grasped onto the idea of alchemy - So I am here to explain it!

Next, I stumbled across alchemy symbols! This helped me understand how a transmutation circle worked. Using different symbols within the circle can lead to different things happening. For example, the flame transmutation circle on Roy's glove uses the alchemy symbol for the element fire. I used Wikipedia for different symbols and what each of them mean!

Alchemical Symbols

From here, I was able to gather different symbols for the transmutation circle above! Each symbol that goes into a transmutation circle will do different things. Now I am not an expert on how to create a transmutation circle, but looking at the symbols, the transmutation circle explains what it should hypothetical do.

If I was doing basic alchemy, I would use a lot of the elemental symbols in my circle. However, a chimera is a branch of bio-alchemy which means I will be looking more at the processes instead of using elements such as copper (unless those elements had some sort of connection to them that would make sense of bonding two souls together and creating one entity)

Using the Alchemical process symbols, I was able to see which one would make the most sense in a chimera transmutation. In this case, I used the symbol for "cancer" which is a zodiac sign!

Cancer is the symbol to show the alchemical process of "Solution". A solution is a type of mixture that has the appearance of one substance, yet is a combination of multiple. For example, a mechanical mixture would have multiple substances that you are able to see with your bare eye (ex. A salad). However, a solution would be something that you would believe to be one pure substance, yet actually has multiple substances within it (Such as Salt water).

The cancer symbol can be seen in the transmutation circle (Highlighted in green):

I used this symbol since Sam was supposed to merge with a bear and create one entity. So, they would be similar to a "solution" .Since there are two entities (Sam and the bear) and they would become as one.

Next, I used the symbol for Mercury (or spirit). This means fusibility. Fusibility is how likely two or more substances are able to connect and become one.

The symbol for Mercury can be seen here (Highlighted in Pink):

This symbol was used because Sam was going to fuse with a bear. These two souls would fuse to create one which would be used in chimera transmutations.

And then! with a bit of artistic liberty plus the knowledge of a basic transmutation circle, I was able to create this!

I am no expert nor don't know if this would even make sense with the fma universe, yet this is what I came up with! One thing I did notice about other transmutation circles, is that every symbol was connected somehow. I am thinking of doing that and create a more polished one, yet these are the symbols I would use and even the structure itself!

I think the double empathy problem (which is, in this case, the idea that autistic people and neurotypical people both have barriers to communicating with one another and, by extension, both have to out in more effort than they would talking to someone of their own ‘group’ in order to effectively communicate and understand one another) is a great explanation of most the social issues I experience as an autistic person, but there’s an extra bit of important context that I don’t often see included in it

As an autistic person, I have put in a lot of effort over the course of my life to better understand and communicate with neurotypicals, but very few neurotypicals have done the same for people like me. I have, throughout my life, been expected (and, oftentimes in order to function, required) to constantly manage my behaviours and my viewpoints in a way that very few neurotypicals ever have or will, and while I am willing to make that effort to connect with the people important to me, I find too often that they are never expected to do the same in return

The double empathy problem can only be ‘solved’ by efforts on both sides. No autistic person can be understood from their efforts alone. No person of any kind can communicate if they’re the only one making the effort to do so

Today in the music study-hall I got called down to the school psychiatrist and naturally I was confused

The psychiatrist soon tells me that the gym teacher told her about what I put on the little "about me google form" that I'm an undiagnosed autistic and HOLY SHIT

I CAN GET AN EVALUATION FROM THE SCHOOL AND ACCOMODATIONS IF I NEED ANY

Next week is when she talks to my mom and I about it all and then sometime later I can get an eval >:) not my dream diagnosis BUT EVALS ARE AWESOME TOO I'M SO HAPPY
