In all honestly, I think the lack of new content for Splatoon 3 is partially due to Nintendo shifting gears towards their next console, with most of the original designers being assigned to work on other projects while some new faces took the reigns for this game (apparently 1/3 of the design team for Splatoon 3 was hired through a job posting that was posted to the Japanese Nintendo Twitter account a day after the game was revealed)

Bell-Mère:

“She left the Navy to be their mom after she found them. Nojiko was holding Nami but they aren't related biologically. Bell-Mere was not well off economically but always did her best to make sure they would eat and feel loved. Because it wasn't an official adoption, the family was not recorded as such in the village records. This would have been very helpful when Arlong came to extort "tribute" based on a household's population, however she 1-failed to kill him and 2-would not deny she had two daughters when confronted about the discrepancy. Thus either her or the two girls were covered by the savings... I think you can guess what happened.”

Cap’n Craig Cuttlefish:

“This old man hangs out in the sewers and young teens just so happen to follow him down from time to time. Those teens then go on to generally save the world, one of which was from his ex who was attempting invasion.”

hey you know how Haikara Walker hasn't seen a single sign of an official english localization after all these years?

wouldn't it be crazy if it got fully fan translated and typeset. cover to cover. that sure would be crazy. anyway don't click this google doc link. and be sure to avoid this internet archive link.
