Naruto x Demon Slayer au: Orochimaru - Written notes / Plot / Character design

Orochimaru takes inspiration from Obanai and Ubuyashiki. Like Obanai, he has poor eyesight but in both eyes. He has multiple snakes that emerge from his kimono to help him see when he requires his eyes. Like Ubuyashiki, he has a very calm tone of voice with an almost magical feel to it.

He often sits with his hands on his lap, and he bows when greeting people. He shows great appreciation for Tsunade and Jiraiya, whom he works along side of to run the leaf corps. His hands are feminine, and he has a very delicate touch and hold, but he's still plenty capable of carrying someone like Sakura without fault. Orochimaru wears a blindfold over his eyes, as they're very sensitive to light, and always has a soft smile on his face.

Kabuto is his right hand man. Orochimaru will send him off to gather information, and he will always retrieve it. He is also a great help in the lab. Sometimes, he acts as Orochimaru's eyes.

Orochimaru is first seen when Sakura is sent on the wrong mission. One of the Hashira sensei's sent her to fight one of Madara's higher rank demons, named Upper Moons, in hopes that her and Naruto will be killed. Sakura fought endlessly with this demon, through broken ribs, a broken arm and even a broken sword for hours. She strived for one reason - protecting Naruto, who was still recovering in his box from their last mission. He was blissfully unaware of the tragedy. Sakura cuts off the demons head, but before it could disappear, it stabs her in the stomach with her broken Nichirin sword. The box's straps were cut, so she slowly goes over to it, covering it with her body in a protective manner before passing out from exhaustion and blood loss. Naruto crawls out of his box after half an hour passes, he sees Sakura's state and panics. Trying to shake her awake, sobbing and wanting to scream.

Kurenai appears soon after, rushing to the two of them. Seeing Naruto startled, she approaches gently and smiles at him to let him know she's not a threat. Naruto reaches over Sakura and grabs her first aid kit, holding it out to Kurenai. "I'll try my best." She says, before starting to treat the wounds she can. Asuma joins her, helping her fix the sword wound, and reports:

"There's no sign of the demon anywhere. I asked some bystanders and they said it disappeared into ash. They also said it had a number in its eyes... so I'm assuming it's one of his..."

"This poor girl... fought... an Upper Moon? At her rank? It's a miracle she still has a pulse."

Naruto watches closely to make sure they aren't hurting Sakura, after the treatment, he reluctantly goes back into his box so they can start making their way to where they were instructed to go. Wanting to be with Sakura.

Orochimaru greets them in an unfurnished room in a small house, sitting in the centre. He holds his arms out in front of him, gesturing for Sakura to be put in front of him. Asuma does as told, and they begin their meeting.

Orochimaru: Welcome, Hashira. Glad to see you are unscathed. Shall we begin?

Kurenai and Asuma nod.

Orochimaru: The box... with the demon... what are your reports on him?

Asuma: He reminds me of the retired Hashira Minato.

Orochimaru: Hmm? Jiraiya's student?

Asuma: Yes sir. Their eyes are almost identical. But unlike Minato, he is very... sensitive. I've only seen him twice, and both times he has clung to and sobbed over this girl. They seem very close.

Orochimaru: Interesting... and you?

Kurenai: They behave kind of like siblings, Sakura taking the role of the elder. She was laying on top of the box as if to protect it, even if she died. He was hesitant to trust me, but he handed me a first aid kit for me to help her. He watched my hands closely when I was tending to her wounds, as if to make sure I wasn't causing further harm. They care deeply about each other.

Orochimaru: I see... open the box, please. I want to see the child myself.

Asuma places the box down and opens it, Naruto slowly crawling out, eyes gluing to Sakura. Orochimaru lifts the blindfond over his eyes, snakes emerging from his kimono, all staring at Naruto. Orochimaru beckons him forward, holding his hand gently and placing it on Sakura's chest to show him that she is still alive. Naruto is instantly relieved. After a somber pause, Orochimaru speaks.

Orochimaru: It was rumoured that Minato retired early because his wife was with child... I have reason to believe that this is him. There has been no contact with him since before these two arrived, so I have sent Kabuto out to investigate. Hopefully, he finds out more on the girls past as well.

Orochimaru moves his blindfold back into place, the snakes retreat as well.

Orochimaru: Is there anything further from you two?

Kurenai: What's going to happen to the Hashira?

Orochimaru: Until further notice, he has been taken of duty as a Hashira. We are having him evaluated for his mental state, and if he can come to terms with everything he will be allowed back, but we have decided that it is up to this child what his punishment will be.

Kurenai: Ah... I see... thank you, Lord Orochimaru.

Orochimaru nods to show his appreciation.

Orochimaru: Asuma?

Asuma: Uhm... the demon she fought... there was reports that it had a numeral engraved in its eyes. We believe that she fought one of Uchiha Madara's high rank demons.

Orochimaru: Ah... very interesting... I will have to interview her as well once she wakes. Just to be sure.

Asuma: Thank you, Lord Orochimaru.

Orochimaru nods again

Orochimaru: As of now, both Sakura and Naruto are seen as demon slayer corps members, as are the three siblings from the sand. They are all under the protection of Lady Tsunade, Lord Jiraiya and I.

Orochimaru stands up and walks over to the two Hashira, bowing with a hand over his heart.

Orochimaru: On behalf of the three Sannin, I thank you both for your services. I trust that you two will bring the children back safe and sound. Take care

He begins to walk to the door, disappearing into a puff of raven feathers.

Asuma and Kurenai release the breath they have been subconsciously holding, and make their way to begin their travel home.

While traveling a few months ago I started thinking about parallels between Danny using the ghost catcher and Elktaur from Centaurworld and came up with a new AU

NowhereKing!Danny AU

Details:

Standard DP origin story (activates portal, becomes halfa, fights ghosts, ghosts considered both evil and non-sentient by his parents)

Meets Val, still wants to date her despite her wanting him dead as Phantom

Danny and Val grow closer, they start dating

Danny's self hatred starts to grow, blames his ghost half for making him something Val would hate if she knew, plans to find a way to get rid of it

Finds the ghost catcher in the lab, uses it, but instead of getting rid of Phantom both Fenton and Phantom still have all of Danny's memories

Phantom feels betrayed by Fenton, who demands Phantom leave and then goes on to date Val without his other half

Fenton becomes a ghost hunter with his parents and Val, part out of self-hatred towards Phantom, part out of his continued sense of responsibility to stop all the ghosts from coming through

Phantom shows up to confront him and tries to convince Fenton that they should merge back together, Fenton refuses and shoots Phantom

The two are still linked, so it hurts both of them

Realizing he can't hurt Phantom or leave him to get hurt by someone else, Fenton traps him in a thermos and keeps it hidden

Years later Val discovers the thermos and opens it, is shocked Danny kept the capture of her mortal enemy secret from her for so long

Seems off, begins to suspect there's more going on than it appears

Lets Phantom go, tells him to escape through the FentonWorks Portal

Fenton finds out Phantom is free and pursues him, Val chases after him for answers

Phantom, Red Huntress, and three Fentons (everyone but Jazz) all end up in one basement with an active portal

Phantom shot, tries to flee through portal

Jack shoots at him, misses but hits portal instead and it explodes

Phantom trapped halfway through portal, in void between Ghost Zone and Human Realm

Time is different in void, ages pass as injured and alone phantom warps and adapts to survival in abstract space

For extra plot, Val gets sucked through portal by explosion, gets character growth in the Ghost Zone

Where are Sam, Tucker, and Jazz? What will they do when they find out what happened to Phantom? What about Dani or Vlad?

If Fenton/Phantom link works differently then Phantom could go through Nowhere-King-creating Trauma at the hands of the GIW

Or Fenton could turn him over to Vlad with the safety net of blackmail to make sure any experiments wouldn't come back to hurt him, in which case cloning, fusing/splitting people/ghosts, etc. are possible to go with The Nowhere King's minotaurs

This stuff could lead to a scenario that matches the Nowhere King better in that people wouldn't want to open the portal and risk letting him out

Me: XD excellent choice, Mob.... The blue flowers all say stuff about how Reigen is a fraudster like negative reviews.

Lucky: "it's not nice to lie" - mob, defending reigen's honor. he refuses to listen to anybody about the fox lmao. 😭 imagine it actually makes reigen feel bad.

Me: I think Ekubo would be a monster he meets like the Mad Dummy.

Anon: He’s a ghost that takes the form of a ratted dummy and he’s just walking around, leaving fluff around everywhere lol.

Tenegaru: i dunno maybe he’d be like lancer and start out as an enemy but join the team like he does in canon lol.

Anon: Mixing both UT and DR together forgive me. [Referring to the party of Kris, Ralsei and Susie vs. Solo Frisk (with inner Chara)]

Lucky: eku joining the party and kind of quietly keeping mob out of trouble is sweet.

Anon: How would timelines be into play? That’s another question 🤔 Ekubo would show up from time to time on the title screen. He says you’re doing good in leading Mob in the right direction when you’re a Pacifist. But if you so wanted, you could reset everything….. or switch your current route up and start killing. Who knows.

Me: My vision: Mob runs into a weird dummy in the junkyard that is being worshipped by small random monsters and the dummy comes to life and it's Ekubo and then he follows Mob around. One of Ekubo's moves is making a little minion attack you.

Anon: Ohh please! That’s adorable. They try to make you laugh too.

Me: Do they tell horrible punny jokes in style with the original UT?

Anon: Oh god yes! We need that ROFL random humor in there too.

Me: Mezato, what would she be?

Anon: Honestly, I haven’t thought about it yet. I was mainly thinking about the main party like in DT and how they’d function. But I do know Mob would be the only human fs.

Me: I think maybe Mezato is a mini fox, same kind as Reigen, but Reigen insists that he's the only real fox around so clearly Mezato is something else XD you know how there are lots of dogs like lesser dog ? This time there's a lot of foxes.

Random Notes for Sabiorine AU

Because I really want to talk about this and have my stuff in one place.

The point of divergence is Guel putting his hands on Miorine after his victory in the ep9 flashback. Sabina happens to walk in on them and politely coughs. She then stumbles on Miorine's latest escape attempt. Miorine has decided that she needs to get out now because she's gotten a preview of what the rest of her life will be like. Sabina feels a twinge of sympathy because her own life was violent before being adopted. But Mio's escape attempt is foiled by her not having her own money. Sabina suggests she goes to her father and prove that she's capable of taking care of herself.

Delling is being harassed by SAL over allegations that the Group is biased against Earthians. They want him to let the rebranded Ochs Earth into the group. The Group is split on the decision. Miorine barges in and tells him what happened with Guel. He does not outwardly react but he does offer a proposal to Miorine: take over as CEO of Ochs. If she can make it profitable by her seventeenth birthday, he will cancel the duels. If she can't, whoever is Holder will marry her.

Back at Grassley, Shaddiq and the girls discuss what this means for their plans. Shaddiq was hoping to get his claws into Ochs more directly to make it easier to coordinate with the SAL, but he can work with this. Sabina suggests they co-opt Miorine and that he might want to duel for her hand sooner rather than later. He refuses because he wants to be the white knight who rescues her at the moment she would have been doomed. But if Sabina is so concerned, then she can duel.

The updated terms make Guel a laughingstock because Miorine is so desperate to get away from him. Sabina is easily able to bait him into a fight. It's a rough battle, but Guel has the upper hand until one of the Dilanza's limbs shorts out. Sabina hammers the weakened limb and emerges victorious. Mio changes the colors but tells her not to get too attached. Sabina will be the last Holder. Shaddiq is delighted. She'll keep the position safe and then take a fall. In the meantime, she can be a perfect inside person at Ochs.

Ochs shareholders are furious that a privileged spacian with no experience is heading their company. Mio's first order of business is to hire more Earthian staff, which is how she gets acquainted with Nika and the rest of Earth House.

The next thing to do is decide on a first collaboration. Peil and Jeturk want Ochs to help design military and police gear. Mio doesn't want to be any more entangled with the Big Three. Shin Sei wants help with mining equipment. They're too small to be a threat. Perfect.

She Sabina and Nika traveled to Mercury to meet with Prospera. Miorine is appalled by the poverty on Mercury. She meets Suletta and Aerial. Suletta is a nervous wreck but Nika is charmed by her and gushy over the suit.

A Dawn of Fold video showing chemical weapons makes the rounds on the Internet. Mio is further appalled. That's illegal. Sabina has had enough and snaps at her that things like this happen all the time. It's how they make their money. It's how Miorine makes her money. Miorine tries to pass it off is not her problem, but she can't sleep. She watches the video over and over. These chemical weapons are illegal and immoral. She looks again at the proposed Shin Sei design. They can modify some of the parts to make cheap gas masks.

She contacts the board and sells them on a side project producing gas masks and air filtration systems, pointing out that they can be made cheaply and sold in bulk to Earth governments. Which still leaves the problem of getting the equipment to Earthians.

Sabina is flabbergasted when Miorine tells her and has to reevaluate her. She's beautiful when she's fiery. And as the president's daughter, she could be an invaluable asset if she were turned. Shaddiq doesn't approve because he wants Miorine kept pure. Sabina decides to do this herself and concocts a masked alter ego to meet with Miorine. "He" introduces himself as an Earthian agitator. He can get the equipment to Earth. Mio scoffs at the costume and calls him the Black Knight. Sabina runs with it. She arranges for delivery. Mio calls the chemical weapons terrible but the Black Knight disagrees. It's not the weapons. It's that they're used on people who have nothing. Revolution is the only way of changing things. Miorine says that there are already laws on the books against war crimes and crimes against humanity. It's just a matter of credible proof. Show her atrocities and Miorine will see they are brought to justice. The Black Knight promises to introduce her to the poor and suffering.

The rest of these are less outline and more stuff I want to see happen.

The Black Knight and Mio would travel to slums and refugee camps, including meeting Five before he was Five

Ochs Earth gains a reputation for civilian use products. Finances trend in a generally upward direction, though still in the red.

Nika and Suletta video call a lot. Miorine is frustrated they don't ask each other out.

Political arm of DoF reaches out to Miorine. Miorine won't give them cover for violence, but she is able to derail a Jeturk-backed military operation by leaking some footage in the area and making it more trouble than it's worth. Jeturk posts its first loss.

Vim commands Guel retake the title of Holder and simultaneously orders the sabotage of an Ochs lab. Mio is able to work out a strategy to defeat Guel but the prototype they've been working on is destroyed and the data wiped.

Miorine is distraught and trying not to show it. Sabina tries very badly to comfort her but Miorine knows that she's a placeholder for Shaddiq and Shaddiq is almost worse than Guel. He would treat her as nothing more than a doll. Sabina insists that she won't roll over for Shaddiq, surprising even herself. She's fallen in love during the Black Knight excursions.

Suletta would enroll about halfway through the story and get her own POV sections. She doesn't get into nearly as many duels. This causes Prospera no end of a headache.

Delling would still be nearly killed by DoF. Vim would be the conservative choice. Shaddiq throws his hat into the ring.

Shaddiq would ally with Prospera and also be the one protecting Aerial. He invites Suletta to Grassley and uses the Aerial in team battles.

Sabina and Nika both know that Shaddiq's affability is a front but can't tell Suletta that.

Miorine has a huge crush on the Black Knight, not that she'll ever admit it.

Sabina is finally unmasked when taking Miorine to the place she grew up. She yells at Sabina for being overly complicated and it devolves into a love confession and sloppy kiss.

Shaddiq walks in on them a few days or weeks later. He says it's fine, but arranges later for Sabina to be his contact to the militant arm of DoF and for her to confess to involvement in various activities. Miorine overhears everything and breaks up with Sabina. Shaddiq challenges her to a duel hours before the deadline. He beats her handily. But Mio has one ace up her sleeve: creative accounting shows a profit for this period. Her father would never let it count, but he's unconscious. She's free.

Shaddiq wins the presidency. He and Prospera work on QZ. Suletta is kicked out of Grassley to keep her safe and Aerial confiscated.

Suletta and Miorine bond over shared ministry and their girlfriends being terrorists.

Shaddiq/Prospera's regime is a reign of terror. Miorine realizes she has to fight back and enlists some of the DoF she earlier spurned. Sabina also realizes this isn't what she wanted. She and Miorine and Nika and Suletta reconcile.

Sabina takes down Shaddiq in a black Michalis. Suletta uses Calibarm to stop QZ.

One of my favorite note ideas that I tbh Genzo Genji/Hanzo

Student by day/superhero by night Genji and Shop keeper by day/assassin by night Hanzo SFW

Gen is a teenage superhero Han is a high school dropout who runs a ramen shop to get some cash, and he also does assassinations on the side to keep up with bills. Gen becomes a superhero at 15 using skills he learned from both Han and what he remembers from when the clan was still up.

When they were young, their family was taken down my OW either sent to prison or killed in action. Leaving Han and Gen to fend for themselves, ow unaware they were there. Ow later comes in to help Gen out giving him better gear and medical assistance even trying to recruit him but Gen denies it and wants to stick around Han (they don't know he's just a teenager). While Gen is playing hero Han is out at night being a very famous assassin working for a big company.

Han and Gens's alternate personalities clash hard, they have no idea who they actually are under the masks and costumes. By the end, Gen finds out that the assassin is Han and tries to talk to him but Han is taken away as a bribe to Gen to come over and work for the company.

In the end, Han and Gen fight together against the company, shutting it down with some help from Ow taking it to the press to really crush them. Han and Gen stay together protecting their city and helping Han create a better version of himself.

I can tell I got really into this idea by the fact I even made characterization notes for them so here have em

Characterization Gen

• Smart but often doesn't study mainly a goof/ bit of a punk in school

• However he makes many friends easily, very friendly with teachers and other students alike

• Uses the excuse of extra club activities for injuries and why he has been out for a long time

• Does mediocre in school mainly because of the superhero thing he does after school each day

• Acts more childish

• Sometimes asks Han if he could work with him instead since he doesn't really want to go to school.

• Will eventually learn to take school seriously at the end of the series and implied he does a 180 at his senior year/ basically becomes a bit more knowledgable and thinking clearly. Ends up as a fulltime hero working with OW

Characterization Han

• Hyper empathetic

• Extremely smart, helps Gen with homework so he manages to keep up somehow

• Highschool drop out to care for Gen

• Acts more like an adult than he should

• Speaks a bit smugly

• Add some dad jokes cause why not he's a old man in a 20 year old body

• Loves Gen very much and will literally kill for him (has killed for him) even though he also wants to punch Gen in the face sometimes for not paying attention to his studies

• A bit jealous Gen gets to go to school while he has to work (he's was a kid that had to grow up very fast there's gonna be some stagnated growth somewhere)

• At the end he tries to do things to redeem himself to Gen for unknowingly trying to kill him for two years, and gets to finish high school and get to college thanks to Ow.

Batsheva's Timeline: A Tadpole Divergence AU

1489: Bhaal intrudes on her life, calls her to Baldur's Gate. She returns to the city and becomes a serial murderer, truly deranged. The Guild becomes aware of her presence as she begins murdering shop keeps. Carelessly, almost caught drunk on bloodlust. Escapes to the Underdark Ruins to the Cult of Bhaal where she is worshiped beyond her wildest dreams.

Orin, who had been leading the Cult in her absence, grows jealous and attempts to kill Batsheva in the night. Batsheva, tipped off by her faithful servant Sceleritas Fel, is ready for Orin. She captures and tortures Orin, stripping her flesh and keeping her on death's edge all night as she butchers her, piece by piece.

Bhaal, impressed at her cruelty, names her Chosen.

1490: Bhaal discusses plan with Bane and Myrkul, contract formed to assist Bane's chosen in their plans. Eventually begin relationship, starting as equal partners.

1492: After the Crown of Karsus is stolen -- Batsheva's plan -- Gortash grows jealous of her favor, seeing how Bhaal dotes on her. Relationship turns sour, abusive.

1493: Sends Batsheva to Moonrise Towers to foster the Cult of the Absolute. Their false devotion to the fake god and not Bhaal angers and frustrates her, pleads with Gortash to allow her back.

1494: Begins assassinating patriars, shop keeps, bankers, anyone to instill fear and see Gortash as the only one to protect them. Gortash begins to grow more narcissistic, hates Batsheva and sends her on petty errands.

1494-1495: The Guild sends Vincent, the best at stealth and tracking, to follow her, investigate her.

What does zanes border manipulation look like can he make sheilds?

Shield is basic skill anyone can do.

Zane's border manipulation (for now) is to open "gaps" which is a portal going from place to place.

Sadly, he's not stable enough to use the power, so he can't open gaps. Just some sort of other magic

The twins are more masculine presenting but are technically both male and female. However they both use male pronouns because that’s what sounds best to them.

Milly is MTF trans and her family is very supportive of her.

Meryl is a cisgender woman but an absolute disaster pansexual.

Livio is asexual, Razlo is aromantic. (This may be a cause of some inner conflict.)

Wolfwood is a functional pansexual but a disaster human so it evens out a bit.

Knives is a tsundere and doesn’t want his current partner to meet his crazy ex.

And Vash loves it when his partner plays with his hair.

SABA Dreamer AU: Scarlet and Her Younger Days

Time once again for posting at Midnight so I don’t lose my idea or sanity, so here we go. I just thought about my Sackboy Dreamer AU with 4 Players and went down a rabbit hole with some of the unused lines and DLC regarding Scarlet’s time as a Knitted Knight. From the cutscenes and the few fan creations I find online, there’s the fanon headcannon that Scarlet knew and fought Vex when she was younger. I decided to take it a step further. More under the cut:

For my version of Scarlet, she did earn being a Knitted Knight on her own and had her best friend plush knight that brought her luck, but I believe when she got older, she did join a group of other Knitted Knights and formed friendships with them as well.

Because I like parallels and angst, the three knitted knights that were Scarlet’s close friends parallel Sackboy’s Dreamling friends.

I do not have ideas yet on two of the knights, but I do have ideas for Faith’s parallel, a sackboy named Pique (He/They).

Pique starts off as the quiet, kind, and compassionate artistic sackling who also dabbles in scientific experiments. He loves telling stories and singing songs to the sackfolk.

He is also childhood friends with Scarlet and they would play Knitted Knight games with her plush and his Vex plush.

One day (like a month or two before Vex is prophesized to come back to Craftworld), Pique gets an idea to break the Vex cycle. He believes that everyone deserves a second chance (even Vex) and that nightmares are essential. He feels sorry for Vex and wants to effectively prove to him that dreams and nightmares could coexist without terrorizing one another. Pique wants to do experiments with Uproar and Dreamer Orbs to see if there’s potential to his plan.

Scarlet is wary like Pique has good intentions, but she believes it’s more complicated than that. Then again, she also feels a little bad about Vex, so she reluctantly supports her friend.

Just like most horror/science fiction stories, Pique experiments on himself so that his body and stitching are laced with Uproar. At first, everything is fine. Pique uses Uproar on quests and to save people, becoming a popular knight.

However, there is a slow corruption/transformation as he progresses. It starts out small like a little outburst or getting an inch taller or a little teasing. But then it evolves into arguments and getting carried away into battle. One time, Scarlet and the other Knitted Knights had to help Pique when he outgrew his home and got stuck.

While this is happening, Vex gets closer to resurfacing and he gets wind of one of the Knitted Knights becoming Vexed which he wants to use it to his advantage.

I read on the wiki that there are lines from the Knitted Knight trials that when Vex was in Loom in the early years, he was trying to steal all the stories. Didn’t find the voice line yet, but that helped me a bit.

So Vex somehow approaches Pique in his dreams or alone and manipulates them to help him steal the stories of Loom, claiming that the storytellers were hiding something.

In the middle of the night, Pique transforms into a being like Vex and pulls a Pied Piper with his singing, kidnapping the Storyteller Sacklings. I believe Pique’s vexed form is a dark King Knight motif.

Scarlet and the two Knitted Knights are on the scene. They are surprised about Pique. Vex makes Pique attack their friends. Angst angst angst. The rest is like one epic battle over another and they defeat Vex but while Vex is fading away, he takes Pique down with him and takes out Scarlet’s eye.

Present day, Scarlet feels guilty and has kept Pique’s Vex plush with her own. When she finds out about Faith’s encounter with Vex, she is internally freaking out and tries to keep an eye on the situation while trying not to alarm Sackboy.

One last thought, but I have the idea that Pique is in the Uproar secretly helping Faith out while basically getting revenge on Vex/redeeming himself from his mistakes.

And that’s what I have so far.
