It was a cold winter. really cold. the temperature was nothing compared to the cold demeanor coriolanus portrayed while in the capitol, though. luckily ever since the games, you and coriolanus had gone your own way. It was a small forest – the only thing in the array of debris was an abandoned cottage that coriolanus of course took the liberty of fixing up for you guys. It wasn’t much, and was definitely nothing compared to the luxury of the capitol, but it was enough for you and him. You and him – that’s how it had always been ever since you guys met; and that’s how it would stay. days at the cottage were peaceful. the suns rays peaking through the curtains you had made by hand as coriolanus stirs from his rest. you were awake. you were always awake before him, but somehow he never realized. you slowly bring one eye open as to not raise suspicion as coriolanus peppers kisses on your bare shoulder. it was mornings like these you appreciated. mornings like these that made you grateful you were his and he was yours. eventually you have to get up, and without a word you kiss him before leaving the room. the taste of mint lingering on yours and now his lips from when you had brushed your teeth earlier that morning. you decide to make breakfast for the both of you since coriolanus can’t cook for the life of him. you thought he had went back to sleep, but your speculation is quickly put to rest as you feel his arms wrap around your waist. “you never said good morning” he whines as he lays his head on your shoulder. “was my kiss not enough for you?” you retort as you turn the stove off. “Maybe another” he replies as he moves his hands towards your hips to turn you around. he kisses your cheek; not once, not twice, but three times, or at least that’s what you counted. “don’t be stingy” you say under your breath as you stand on your toes to pull him in for an actual kiss. his hands on your hips keep you steady as you run your hands over his freshly shaved and bleached buzzcut. he was convinced he wouldn’t let it grow out after moving here with you – which you were perfectly fine with. he pulls away to go do what you presume is taking a shower, and you walk away with a crimson red blush spread throughout your face. mornings like these were what you looked forward to. mornings like these were what made you realize you loved coriolanus snow.

Writing is pain but I love those small moments when you're writing and a new character decides to spawn in out of nowhere and you suddenly have this AHA moment of "you 🫵🫵🫵are absolutely going to ruin [other character]'s life 🫵🫵you are their new obsession 🫵🫵"

One thing I’m really looking forward to seeing is how they convince Percy not to join Luke. Up until the end of episode 4, Percy doesn’t have any faith in his dad or the other gods. He resents them all for abandoning their kids and doesn’t like their excuses. He is disgusted by how Athena treats Annabeth. He detests the whole claiming system and that the gods can just choose to claim them if they feel like it. And he is also being actively targeted by Zeus. What will be the turning point for him to not join Luke?

do y'all ever think about the fact that bobby is literally chris' grandpa? like yeah, bobby is a father figure to buck. but buck is also chris' second dad.

that's a dynamic i am reminded of whenever i see eddie and bobby interact outside of the fire station and it's a dynamic that should be explored more overall.

in my heart of hearts mike wheeler is absolutely an athena kid but i also have to offer up a concept that i think has extreme comedic and dramatic potential aka: repressed gay teenager mike showing up at camp half blood unsure of who his godly parent is and feeling insecure about not having powers and one day when he’s making not-so-secret heart eyes at his best friend and son of apollo will byers is when a bunch of glowing floating hearts show up above his head. and that’s how mike gets claimed by none other than aphrodite, the goddess of love and sexuality, and is in full denial about it for three days because he thinks it’s some kind of sick and twisted JOKE

(on aphrodite’s end, she’s upset mike is throwing away the gift of true love and keeps trying to trick him out of repression by making more and more improbable and hilarious gifts appear when he and will are hanging out. mike hands will a book and it turns into a box of chocolates and he has to fling it away like a frisbee before will sees it. they’re having lunch and romantic music starts playing. she gives mike the same blessing she used to claim piper and will can’t even look in his direction for a full day because he starts blushing so hard. fifty bouquets of flowers show up at the apollo cabin’s doorstep with a note that says love, mike and by the end of it, mike isn’t even repressed and unsure about his sexuality anymore — he’s just trying to not throw himself into the bonfire out of sheer embarrassment)

Currently thinking about the seven hearing stories about Percy Jackson and dismissing it as something that has been completely fabricated only to find out it's not even half of what Percy has actually done

Piper: Sure Percy totally beat the god of war

Annabeth: Yeah he was 12 I was convinced he was going to die

If I ever write a no powers au it is going to be a who dunnit about Zeus’s death because literally everyone has a motive and now since everyone is mortal everyone has the means to murder him.

Murder suspects

Athena- Believes that Zeus is running the company inefficiently and if he just listened to her everything would be fixed. Once tried to take over the Olympian Holdings. Her alibi is completely air tight like she knew this would happen…

Hades- Zeus once tried to harm his lover. Rival business owners.

Posideon- Extreme brotherly rivalry and also rival business owner.

Apollo- Recently disowned son who has taken his disowning suspiciously well… has the medical know how to pull off some interesting stuff. Second most likely to be framed.

Hera- We all know her motive. And you know what she deserves to kill him at this point

Luke- trying to destroy Olympian Holdings for its shady business practices and has his own complicated ties to the Olympian family.

Ares- Recently written out of the will for doing something stupid. Has a gun at all times. Most likely to be framed.

Hermes- Zeus’s aid for a ridiculous amount of time with no career advancement. Has info on the other suspects that he is very willing to share. Has recently been in hot water with Zeus over the actions of his son Luke.

Thalia and Jason Grace- Zeus’s bastard children who are set to inherit a lot of his money.

I have no idea who the detective would be since there isn’t an unbiased demigod with the intelligence to deal with this mess. Tempted to have the detectives be Percy and Annabeth. Will Solace would also make a great medical consultant.

Like Percy without Annabeth would go batshit insane right? Or should I say Perseus would go insane.

The whole Percy memory thing is kinda glanced over. He gets his memories back by MOA. The second he sees his Annie he’s okay. And then we’re done with it.

But what if it didn’t work like that? He loves Annabeth that bond hera wont break. But he doesn’t know everything about her. He knows thats his entire world. But he doesn’t know why.

Jason didn’t know about the legion. Or any of his time there. He still doesn’t have all his memories about that despite going home.

Why does Percy get that?

Imagine Him doing a move and leo being like “where’d you learn that?” And he just blanks, Luke’s name slipping from his brain.

Him back at camp, seeing someone (like clariesse or Katie. Not his best friend but they’ve definitely talked.) and them being happy he’s okay, and he just doesn’t know them. Them trying to remind him who they are. And he just doesn’t know.

Percy getting his Achilles curse memories back, and he doesn’t remember that its gone. Going headfirst into battle, unaware of the potential for injuries.

Percy hearing sally make a mean joke about gabe and he just doesn’t know who he is. He knows he hates alcohol. But not why.

Percy not remembering everything.

He knows what hurts but not why it does.
