♥️ First, let's start with the definition of your birth chart, your birth chart or your astrological natal chart is supposed and meant to show your whole life stages, your destiny, challenges good and bad things, your cosmic journey!! Is like a map and you learn to discover yourself more and more with every placement you have!!♥️

Is heavily used by people who believe or have their own beliefs in astrology and spirituality, it was also used by most of our ancestors back in the times where it wasn't crazy to believe in astrology!!

Tips of how to learn to love every single placement/aspect in your natal/birth chart:

Try to start and read about placements in your natal chart, try to take it on stages, first start to read about your sun sign, the sun placement,the house of your sun sign then move into next planet as you wish or you like, just try to like not get dizzy and to do in order

Always think that even though birth charts can show or indicate some "challenges" or difficulties those hardships are for your own great good, so is not like some bad things happen to you and those bad things will stay in your life forever...NO don't think it that way, think as they will learn you something and you will learn something from them and then those things will go away!

Every sign is beautiful in their own way, yes there is some astro-beauty thing going on tumblr where some placements in your natal chart can indicate some specific things about your beauty and appearance, but is very important to not feel like you are not included!! No Venus sign is better or more beautiful than the OTHER!! All Venus signs are pretty in their own ways!! Just because someone has their Venus in Scorpio or Libra and you don't, that doesn't MAKE YOU less beautiful or less appreciated

Try to not always read negative things about your placements, yes is good sometimes to read about the dark side of some of your placements but if you constantly read negative things about your placements you can start to hate them because of the generalization in some aspects/placements in your natal chart based on some astrologers observations

Not every astrologer on this app is gonna describe placements or aspects in positive ways, for real some of them really just like to get into the dark or bad side from the start and you'll feel like your placements are bad and that is not good!! You can get depressed too just from the vibe of the post 😵

DON'T listen to generalizations!!! Some people may get hurt or jealous/envy whatever on some placements/aspects etc..and I don't see where this may come from because even if jealousy is a natural human feeling it still doesn't make sense because every chart is beautiful and amazing in their own ways! As I said some people may get hurt and start to generalize a single placement in that chart and from that thing, stereotypes rise up and bring confusion and negativity

Try to find people who you can share the same placements/aspects with, for example I'm lucky enough to have people in my life who happens to study/read about those natal charts and it happens for us to share the same placements in our birth charts and we start to talk about like the pro and contra on that specific placement and at the end of the day is just us trying to discover more about ourselves and liking that placement more and more

Be always open to hearing/reading new things about your placements, is that type of excitement who makes you happy to have that specific placement or aspect in your birth chart and you can feel happy at the end of the day, try and do it like me... I have Saturn in the 7th house in almost all my charts (not my natal chart one though) at first I thought is a bad placement but after I read more and more about it, it makes you to realize is not a bad placement at all and is just the generalization who made it to be in the way it is now in the media/online

♥️ If you think or feel bad about your placements from reading some astro observations on this app, you can always search them on google/safari or whatever searching site you use, there are so many sites out there who talk about placements and aspects in the online!! Sometimes you need to be careful to not fell in a trap while reading about it ♥️

Calvinism is a branch of protestanism that says that God has already chosen who will be saved and who would go to hell, without anyone having any choice in the matter. (Predestination) If there is a theology I deeply, deeply and genuinely despise to my very core, is predestination. It goes against everything I genuinely believe, the possibility of change, redemption, and choice.

I cannot believe it was the official religion of many countries. The doctrine of "some people are just born to go to hell no matter what you do". If you ask me about one theological belief I genuinely hate, it's this.

Like remember when the Trump administration was like “we’re not lying, we’re just using alternative facts”? And the general consensus was that a country in which two sides could no longer agree on a shared reality because one side could never be persuaded of objective truth by any type of evidence or facts was really fucking bad and dangerous?

I’m not any more inclined to accept “alternative facts” from a religious person than I was from Trump.

Mistress of Waters: Oshun

Throughout history, water has been used as a symbol of wisdom, power, grace, music, and sensitivity.

Across many ancient civilizations, love was placed under the domain of a particular deity, usually, but not in all cases, a goddess.

In the Classical world, for instance, there were Venus and Aphrodite, love goddesses of the Roman and Greek pantheons, respectively.

In West Africa, the Yoruba people believe in a love goddess named Oshun.

They inhabit the southwestern part of modern-day Nigeria and the southern part of Benin.

Although #Oshun is regarded principally as a goddess of love, there are other aspects to this Orisha.

Oshun is the goddess of love, sensuality, and water and the protective deity of the river Oshun. She is also associated with fertility, lushness, greenness, and life.

Alongside this river is a sacred grove, probably the last in Yoruba Culture, dedicated to Oshun.

When she came down to earth, she wore a gold dress and jewelry. This is why her worshippers also wear gold and yellow attires to honor her.

According to the tales, the gods came down, they completely disregarded Oshun while they engaged in creating the earth.

She returned to the heavens, where she spent time admiring herself in the mirror. Oshun often carries a mirror so that she can admire her beauty.

In the absence of Oshun, the other gods faced difficulties. They could not populate and revive the earth.

They went back to heaven to apologize and beg her. When she came back to the earth, she revived it with water.

Although Oshun governs love and sweet waters, she is also a benevolent deity.

She is said to be the protector of the poor and the mother of all orphans. It is Oshun who fulfills their needs in this life.

Oshun is commonly shown as a beautiful, charming, sensual, and coquettish young woman.

During the slave trade, Oshun was brought to the Americas and adopted into the pantheons, branching out of the traditional African belief system.

I described myself as irreligious earlier and that's certainly true : I don't attend church/mosque/shul or participate in any organised religion. but on the topic of 〜belief〜 ... I don't actually know....

like intellectually I know a deity probably doesn't exist. so I'm probably some flavour of atheist/agnostic. but when I think about the universe and life and look at old trees I'm like there must be something. surely. I can feel it. but then... is this deity omnipotent and uncaring because suffering, in which case I don't want to be a believer, or are they not omnipotent albeit capable of creation or just so fundamentally unhuman that any kind of prayer and devotion is utterly pointless.

the best description I can think of for now, is I am either an atheist who wants to believe, or a believer who doesn't

#on a side note #the belief system I created/am creating for the speakers of my conlang is something I can actually see myself practicing religiously #y know kinda like astrology. it completely fake but it's fun and harmless so you might as well ''believe'' in it for vibes #and I do think meditation is healthy #(prayer being fundamentally a form of meditation I think. even if you think some deity is listening)

By the way for anyone that it really bothers, I believe in and have fun with astrology, I don’t understand the aggressive hatred toward it but regardless I don’t support shitting on peoples beliefs or spirituality because you think it’s silly to believe in or because a couple people who believe the same thing were mean to you or made you uncomfortable

A lot of astrologers and bloggers give 12th house a bad rep by stating words like “the house of your undoing”, the “house of hidden enemies”. And yes it is also true. But the 12th house is also the house of our subconscious mind. The house of our soul. The house of our spirituality and beliefs. What hidden enemies can do once you know yourself deeply ? How someone else can be your undoing when you become the master of your 12th house ?

I decided to recall it the house of rebirth because it literally is. It’s the last house of the birth chart then it’s the 1st house, the house of beginnings and the self. What was the self before its beginning ? Nothing, maybe a soul, maybe memories, maybe the soul of an old person who just died and wanted to live one last time… The options are limitless, just as the belief systems in this world.

The 12th house symbolises also far way foreign land, so it’s the house of the unknown ready to be explored. A scary house really and who wants to dive into an unknown space without being prepared for it ? Let me tell you actually you have been preparing your whole life to dive into your 12th house without any fear and finally complete this life and go into your 1st house or another universe who knows ? Thus 12th house is the house of death and rebirth.

Right now we are living a time of death and rebirth too in terms of many things : major transits shifts, major political issues, more wars, revolutions, climate change, big spiritual practices happening at the same time, major changes in the work place, individualism being worse than ever, advance in technology, in medicine, …Things are moving at a faster pace no matter what we want to think of it.

What will you think if I tell you that your 12th house can eventually help you tackle life easily and become an alchemist ? By using your 12th house sign and placements at your advantage and helping your soul evolves ? By using the qualities of your 12th house to dive deeper in your subconscious, heal deeper your wounds and find your hidden strength and talents ?
