I genuinely want your opinion about this post, because I totally agree with your post, and thought this other one was a bit rude.

(sorry for my terrible English, I hope I'm not being rude to you)

dw, english is not my first language too so it's okay also you are not being rude. and yeah just like I said some people hate the "overhype" not Ayato hit this Ayato stans still convert it into ayato hate and start giving various reasons to prove their point. just like in this post. it's like if we go through other boys' contents more deeply like they did with Ayato, then we'll also find a lot of growth, development and plus traits in other characters. but nah they just wanna paint it on Ayato.

if we talk about Ayato forgiving Cordelia because he still hoped she got her feelings reciprocated, then Yuma forgiving Reiji is way more major and heavy, because we all know how bad Mukamis' experience was. and if Reiji wouldn't have burned down his whole village, Yuma wouldn't have ended on city streets, with memory loss and then you guys know the rest. orphanage was one of the most terrifying hell for them because of the war (and it's sad how it was so true) yet Yuma forgave Reiji and even wished for his happiness with Yui.

Reiji also had one of the biggest developments. he was someone with ambition but ignored and cast aside by never receiving his mother's acknowledgement. yet after meeting Yui he grew so much like, in Shu's LE route, he literally sacrificed himself to protect Yuma because he was guilty and even though Yuma already said he forgave him a long time ago why he did it, Reiji said no matter how many times Yuma forgave him, it wouldn't rid him off of his guilt and past actions. also he:

this is not even his own route! but Shu's DF route yet look at my boy. proof that Ayato is not the only one who is compassionate out of his route. and same goes for Mukami brothers, be it Sakamaki, their own family or even Tsukinami's route they are compassionate and that's really a big deal because after what happened to them, they laugh at things like "humanity" because nobody showed them such yet look at them in later games.

In other words, yes there are many reasons for Ayato stans to make Ayato the main hero because Rejet said it so but please stop putting other characters in the background, casting them aside like they didn't have it rough and are NOTHING compared to Ayato's sufferings and compassion. all of them had different environment. even triplets, ayato, laito and kanato were mistreated differently. and Laito only pushed away Ayato because of what Cordelia did to him, and remember, among vampires there is nothing like humanity and compassion that's why Laito never expected anything from any of his brothers and pushed Ayato away too. ALSO AYATO SAID IT HIMSELF IN LAITO'S DF THAT LAITO HAD IT WORSE FROM CORDELIA.

Yes Ayato probably killed Cordelia to protect his younger brothers + also what she did to him, and I really like that about him. but that didn't mean other characters didn't do anything. Carla sacrificed Shin's eye instead of giving up on his brother's life even if it meant Shin will hate him for his whole life but at least that'll still keep his little brother alive.

Ayato realised Karlheinz is the root of evil, so did Shu a long time ago but everyone have their OWN way with dealing things, and Shu just wanted a peaceful life with Yui that's why he never tried to ever mention his father or tried to face him head on. it was difficult for Mukamis to accept Karlheinz evil because he was their saviour yet they still took courage and betrayed him for the sake of evil. Reiji likes his father but in his CL good end, even he was speechless and finally had enough of his father's Adam and eve plan, rejecting the throne and taking Yui away.

Plot: It has been four and a half years since the events of season 4. (Setting this in November 1990, about a month until Christmas.) Vecna has been dormant, quiet. The most the main cast has to deal with is the portals and the occasional demo-dogs and demo-bats that slip through and has to be either sent back or killed to keep the town safe.

As a result of the world splitting open a gate to a different dimension Hawkins has been quarantined by the state of Indiana, no one is to leave or enter aside from government personnel to bring food and other supplies to the people of Hawkins. They tell anyone on the outside its a major outbreak and chemical leak to keep people away from the town, and during the years a large fence perimeter had been built around the town with government personnel patrolling.

[It is a very large radius so there's plenty of room to still explore Hawkins, the woods, even the lakes if you desire.]

𝙏𝙝𝙚 𝘿𝙚𝙩𝙖𝙞𝙡𝙨 - Joyce having sold her house moved into Hoppers cabin when returning back to Hawkins. Joyce, Jonathan Will, and El all live with Jim Hopper in his cabin. - The Party (& Teens) still lives with their parents (unless decided otherwise! There is freedom on this.) - Eddie, Billy, Chrissy, Barbara (Anyone who's canonically died if someone wants to roleplay them) all find themselves waking up either in Hawkins or in the Upside Down, alive again. Scars where their fatal injuries were had, their memory fuzzy as they're left wondering what happened.

[ LORE REASONING .... - Vecna revived them, think back to season 2 when Will was possessed. Vecna is dormant, the characters have no knowledge they're possessed. The act of reviving characters is to gather information and to put everyone on edge as he recovers and schemes. ]

It’s like looking at oneself through the mirror: the reflection is the same in all the core aspects but not quite when it comes to details. Some things are a bit more blurred by the passage of time, some seem clearer. And yet the main essence is similar enough for you to turn around and ignore that mirror even exists, for it shows parts of yourself you don’t want to deal with. Because it angers you and it makes you feel uneasy that someone, anyone, might be able to understand your deepest fears and traumas just like that.

What if they use them against you?

That might be the reason Ruki and Ryo don’t really interact with each other that often. They don’t know that much about each other either, but their character path is painfully similar: from living on the very top of the world to the filthiest mud. Having to grow up much faster than expected, forming an accidental yet somehow working family that finally gives them a real sense of belonging. Ruki took the role of the oldest sibling as he tries to lead his brothers into success —that is, following Karl’s plan— whereas Ryo wants to take any important role in her family but she’s not allowed: being a human is nowhere near enough and she wouldn’t even be able to make a proper vampire. The shadow of failure, of not being good enough to follow what they have to do, looms over both of them every day.

Ruki is able to keep his composure and not lose control. For Ryo, she’s much more prone to emotional outbursts under the right pressure. And that’s part of the game. Finding just how much playing around is needed for her to break, to put aside that seemingly mature and logical façade in order to show her fiery heart, burning bright. She’s still young and inexperienced, no matter how strong she tries to look.

They despise looking weak almost as much as they despise their own inner weakness: it’s always about being perfect. A good leader, someone able to overcome each and every obstacle in their way no matter the consequences. Willing to risk themselves one and a hundred times for what they deem the greater good or their mission, with a realistic yet slightly twisted vision of destiny and duty. Duty lies with one’s family, with those you owe everything to. And everything means everything. Able to give up their own life, their own happiness, as long as things are done the right way.

While Ruki is much more logic oriented, arguably thanks to being alive for much longer, Ryo is emotional and unstable. Even if her heart is surely freezing little by little, human nature is a capricious force that keeps swaying her left and right, not wanting to let her take the seemingly better, logical decision. Heart against mind seems like a never ending conflict but each of them have an opposing opinion on the matter.

They both have had bad experiences with family members of the opposite gender, which makes them judge especially harshly any people that reminds them of their family. It might be a deep fear of betrayal, of getting hurt by those who were supposed to protect them back when they shouldn’t have had any responsabilites. It might be the longing for the time before any of that happens. But they approach the opposite gender with caution and distrust, minding their words just as much as their actions. Any wrong move and they won’t hesitate to lash out at them.

Overall, they are two people that take most care not to show too much about themselves. Only what is necessary, just at the right time. Ruki is the kind of person Ryo aims to become one day, someone able to oversee every little movement in the board in order to choose the option leading to the best possible outcome. If Ruki is the King, Ryo would be more akin to a Bishop: close enough to the King to safeguard him, not quite strong enough to take a better position. Sacrificeable under the right premises yet extremely useful as long as played the right way.

And it takes a good player to know how to use that piece.

Actually L.L. in Dialtown real so let me ramble about them (I'll eventually give them a proper design [working on it but y'all know I hate drawing clothes] and introduction post but I just need to ramble now ok? ok.)

For starters the main people they'd have relationships with: Randy, Mingus and Hobo

Maybe Norm too but I didn't think of them both together much aside from the normie solidarity angle

They didn't actually replace their head but at the same time they kiiiinda did because after a while the tv they put on themselves kinda started merging with their flesh

This can be removed but it's not as easy as popping it out. Well, it is, but know. Yeowch.

L.L. also goes by a different name here because when meeting their first person (idk who that'd be) they didn't understand if they were asked "what are you" or "who are you" so they tried to say TV and Luly at the same time and just blurted out Tuvy and then were too embarassed to correct it.

Hobo logically realized pretty fast that they're not one of the creatures he made but he was like Eh Whatever bc who give a shit

L.L. is actually homeless here because they're piss fucking poor (like Norm, all their money is useless since it has a human headed president) so they either sleep with Hobo or with Randy

Now for some character specific things:

Randy:

I can't tell yet if they're dating. Maybe a little?

They most definitely fucked though

The only thing that differentiates L.L. from Gingi is that they can keep their thoughts to themselves. But they also want to eat this guy. Probably for way hornier reasons than Gingi does though.

They're still very protective of him tho trying to make him grow a spine but ALSO feel comfortable and capable of trust.

They also want to teach him how to fight but that's more of a pipe dream

Hobo:

They definitely have something going on of some sort. Probably not sexual bc i think that man doesn't care about the horizontal mambo but they're something gay.

They also have a sort of... Solidarity as beings who don't exist on a single universe because of the problems this cause that helps them bond.

By this I mean L.L. went to cry to his dumpster when they first realized holy shit Peter is here and he's alive (but I can't do anything about it because he won't recognize me, he doesn't know who I am.)

Hobo understood their despair all too well and did their best to try comfort them. Also offered them booze so they both got kinda drunk together and he taught them the pros of fucking ignoring stuff 👍

Aside from that incident though they're just low-key lovebirds. TV4TV love. He's very chill and L.L. really enjoys hanging out with him.

Also they're both doggies.

He's just rlly attractive.

They also like genuinely care about him and hate when he gets all self deprecating.

Oh yeah also they cook him actual food which he LOVES ❤️

Mingus:

Romantic + sexual they're so fucking .

Falling for them was DEVASTATING for Mingus like a huge blow to her pride like The Mayor™ falling for this random loser guy⁉️

Yes.

They're so cute together though sometimes when Mingus purrs L.L.'s head starts vibrating or vice versa

Also L.L. has experience being a scratching pole so that's no issue.

Mingus is both possessive and detached. You're mine but also go for a hike I am very busy right now do whatever you want idc.

Mingus is also Way nicer to L.L. than she is to anyone else. Her morality pet if you will. They're her favorite y'know.

And just like the previous two L.L. really worries for her and does try to help but she's stubborn. Probably could get somewhere post chapter 3 though.

L.L. really likes Tango too

Def nothing more than platonic going on there though but they often see him when they are staying over with Mingus

First time they met L.L. was weird bc they're just weird but also bc they realized this was THE Everett Harry spoke about so it was a shocker but they were trying hard to be respectful

Another time they outright flirted with him bc they were experiencing POST nut psychosis and were still very loopy. He was very flattered AND flustered.

They're definitely restricted from dating though. Sad!

I have several OCs for Jujutsu Kaisen and they have their own lore. Two of them have the same name, so it can be a little confusing, but one is a reincarnate of the other so that's why.

It's a little long to be sending in an ask, I'd hate to end up sending you an essay, so here's so brief bullet points:

Main OC is called Izanami and she was born in Heian Era Japan

Her excess of Cursed Energy altered her appearance physically, making her look like a doll. She was simultaneously pretty while also being unsettling to look at because she looked "off." Think of the uncanny valley

Parents wanted to kill her but decided to keep her because they were nobles and needed a heir anyway.

She was initially named Yurei by her parents, literally meaning ghost or spirit in reference to her appearance.

Her childhood was really lonely and she didn't have any friends due to her appearance

Eventually began rebelling as a teenager, only to have an unfortunate experience with a would-be suitor. He played with her heart and made it seem like he loved her only to publically humiliate her.

She attacked him and ran away after, abandoning her given name and renaming herself Izanami.

After traveling around Japan for a few years, she meets Kenjaku. They decide to work together because Izanami is bored and Kenjaku thinks she's useful.

Relationship eventually evolves from business partners to friends to lovers.

Izanami's Technique increases her lifespan by a lot, so she's able to work with Kenjaku for several centuries.

She was just as bad as he was, and she had a hand in a lot of his schemes. That aside, she shared his interest in cursed energy and wrote her own theories on it. She actually published her essays before she died, and they're very divisive among Jujutsu Society

She and Kenjaku settle down and have 4 children during the Taisho period only for her to die a few years later because her Technique can no longer keep her alive

Before she dies she promises so reincarnate and come back to them

She does, but unfortunately, since she's a natural reincarnate, she doesn't remember Kenjaku or their children at all

Fun fact, Izanami (Heian Era) named herself after the Diety, Izanami-no-Mikoto, but Izanami (modern/reincarnate) was unknowingly named after her past self.

Her parents in the modern world really liked Izanami's (Heian) aforementioned essays and theories, so they named their first daughter after her. Little did they know they're the same person, or at least the same soul 💀

Modern Izanami attends Jujutsu Tech with Geto, Gojo, and Shoko as first years, but she's 3 years younger than them. She was allowed to attend early for lore reasons that would be a little too long to explain.

She loses an arm and gains facial scars her second year for those same lore reasons and when Geto defects, she doesn't go with him but does support him. She defects as well, but opens her own business to act as a front while she investigates a way to force humanity to evolve Cursed Energy so that Geto won't have to kill everyone.

Her past self looked like a doll, but modern Izanami is designed after an Oiran with a lot of modern elements.

I hope all that made sense. Maybe one day I'll post full character sheets for my OCs or even stories, but trying to write out all of their lore is so hard @_@

Thoughts on Chapter 1 of Shirley Jackson's "The Haunting of Hill House."

For support, please don’t hesitate.

Dreams keep us sane in the face of reality. But what happens when our supposed hero turns out to be the villain? Those were my initial thoughts after reading the first sentence.

I found it peculiar that the first character introduced was Hill House. Is Hill House, despite being inanimate, the main character, as the novel is named after it? Will Hill House be the hero, the villain, the culprit, or the victim? Hill House has existed for 80 years and may continue for another 80—who built it, why is it in this specific location, and, most importantly, why was it abandoned yet kept alive? If Hill House was human, I'd see it as a character who is only alive because of its power—a stone amid woods. However, what was the cost of its power?

Dr. John Montague is the second character introduced. He studied philosophy, but his true passion is investigating supernatural occurrences. I think he'd be a deceiver who'd use any means to attain his aims while maintaining his social standing. I'm curious what he'd choose if he had to pick between his social position and his aspirations. Though a proud man, he compromised for his aims, indicating that he is more concerned with long-term goals than short-term comforts.

Dr. Montagues’ work on the cause and effects of psychic disturbances in a house brings him to Hill House. I feel like the author's stating that he thought himself careful and conscientious would be one of his undoing. The doctor seems calculative, and he knows this about himself. What if this leads to overconfidence?

Eleanor Vance has been caring for her sick mother since she was 21. I understand our obligation to our parents, but putting her life on hold for 11 years? Why didn't her mother urge her to get out there and live her life? Why couldn't she find a way to balance caring for her mother and living her life? I believe she became overly accustomed to that way of life. Aside from their unlikable traits, I believe she despises her immediate relatives because it is easier to despise them than it is to hate herself for putting herself in a cage. Freedom was what led her to Hill House.

Theodora strikes me as a free-spirited person with a sharp memory. A free-spirited woman with the moniker Theo. Her journey to Hill House was motivated by her curiosity and pettiness. I found reading about Theo and her friend's squabble amusing; they were petty, and I had no doubts that they would become friends again, if not stronger. Sadly, she left.

Luke Sanderson, I think, is a good-looking man who is a menace to his aunt but generally reasonable. The doctor perceived in Luke an instinct for self-preservation; I hope to see this in action. He is forced to go to Hill House; I guess he should have been less of a menace.

Back to Eleanor. Eleanor’s reaction is what happens when people push too much. No matter how passive a person might be, if one pushes too hard, he or she will fight back. Fighting back is part of survival; this explains why she was surprised by her own action. I am curious how their reaction will be when they find out that she took the car regardless. I think they would throw her out. A real family will be understanding, but so far they haven’t acted like one.

Eleanor is curious and observant, but I've noticed that she doesn't always make the crucial first move. I also wonder if she spent some of the time caring for her mother with her head buried in books because her imagination is tuned to a realm of fairy tales. She is remarkably innocent for a woman of 32; perhaps being cut off from the outside world may have prevented her from seeing the evil that permeates it.

I liked how Eleanor's happiness was conveyed without the author explicitly saying it. It was obvious from Eleanor's descriptions of her surroundings. She romanticized her surroundings and appeared enchanted by everything. I also observed that she was easily sidetracked and has not yet mastered the skill of compromising. She takes her commitments seriously, which could work against her. Although she believes herself to be socially awkward, she has so far been the first to strike up a conversation and is perceptive of social cues.

Why do I have the impression that I haven't seen the last of "the man"?

"Since the gate was so clearly locked—locked and double-locked, chained and barred," honestly, who in his or her right mind would try to break into a deserted, towering house in the middle of nowhere?

The last character introduced is the very cheerful, accommodating, and welcoming caretaker, Dudley (note the sarcasm). For now, while I think Dudley might be a threat, I don’t think he would be as much of a threat as he tries to be. (Empty gallons make the loudest noise.)

I wonder why her cheerful disposition did a 180 as soon as she saw Hill House. Is her subconsciousness warning her, or is she just projecting Dudley into the house?

In chapter 1, we are introduced to the characters, their lives before Hill House, and their reasons for coming to Hill House.

I'm guessing chapter 2 will be about them finally meeting and reacting to each other. I'm curious how Hill House will react to suddenly having people other than sour Dudley in it. It should be fun. I’m excited.

I m new on your blog and read your work and i fell in love with your stories. I read you were interested in taking request so can you take my request too? I was wondering if you can write a steve rogers x reader, where y/n is his girlfriend and he leaves her after civil war and then they see each other in infinity war, he tries to patchup with her but she ignores him because in past he often compared her to peggy and also because she knew about him kissing sharon and she is hurt. During the fight she doesn't talks to him and when tony returns from space she still continues to ignore Steve and when he confronts her she snaps at him for hurting her for a long time. He apologizes and somehow they makeup and also him kissing sharon was misunderstanding because sharon kissed him. And then they are happy together and also in endgame the reader is worried steve will stay in past but he comes back and they get married with the team present and have kids and live happily

He stood right there in his Captain America shield with all his former glory. Your ex boyfriend looked the same but there were some differences like he had a full grown beard and he was more muscular. He kept staring at you with longing and pain but it was not even the half of what you experienced while he was gone.

“(Y/N), you need to take the position left to Steve.” Tony pulled you out of your trance and you just stared at him when you comprehended his order. He had been there for you from the moment Steve left you after the Civil War. Sitting with you when you couldn’t sleep at night and forcefully feeding you when you spent the whole day starving. He didn’t want you anywhere near Captain but you both always worked best together and there were much more important matters at hand.

“But Tony, I can be with Steve.” As much as Rhodey wanted to be away from all of the people that were responsible for his fall, he didn’t want you to suffer. They all had seen you fall apart on the Avenger base when you realised that your boyfriend left without saying good bye to you and without an explanation. Just telling Tony on a voice message to take care of you wasn’t enough.

“I’ll be okay, Rhodey. You are needed near the buildings so if some of the aliens escape our defenses, you can be there to protect the city.”

All of the avengers kept stealing glances at the both of you because they knew that it was only a matter of time before you exploded. But they were wrong. You were not the stubborn, hot headed woman that did not let anyone walk over her. That woman died when Steve left. He took her with himself.

"Take your positions and give them hell." Steve and you made your way towards your designated place.

"(Y/N), listen to me. I-"

"Do not talk to me. We are done." Keeping your eyes trained on the path, you avoided meeting his eyes.

"But, let me explain. I did not have a choice. You sided with Tony and I couldn't tell you that we were leaving." He tried to catch up with you but you were a woman on a mission.

"I did not side with Tony, I sided with the accords. And I was working my ass off to get you all out of there and I looked like a fool in the end." He collided in you as you abruptly stopped in your tracks.

"(Y/N), I didn't know-"

"You didn't know because you never tried to contact me. I was the one who had to go through multiple trials with the government because they thought I helped you all to escape." There were tears pooling in your eyes and Steve wanted to kill himself for being the cause. "I was benched for four months, for Gods sake."

You are reminded of those horrible times when you didn't know what your next step was going to be. The others tried to help you but you had to suffer through all the criticism alone. Some days you just wanted to leave it all behind and start a new life. But you weren't a coward. You wouldn't let anyone run over you like this and ruin your life. Getting back up was tough but you managed it. The day that you were allowed back on the field was the day that you decided you were not going to let anyone ruin your life.

"(Y/N), I made a mistake and I missed you so much." He tried to touch you but you flinched. A look of hurt passed his eyes and retracted his hands.

"Let's just fight. I want to kick some ass." The war crafts soon landed and you all got to fight. You had to admit that Steve was one of the best teammate that you had. He knew when to defend you and when to let you attack. You were busy fighting two of the aliens when one came from the back. Steve saw it and immediately came to your defense. You were never going to admit it but you missed this.

When the fight ended, you both made your way towards the main compound and saw all the avengers gathered together. Steve and you only had minor cuts throughout your body but nothing major. The moment you saw what all the commotion is about, your breath hitched. It was Tony with half of his skin burnt and taking his last breath.

Kneeling down beside him, you started crying. "Hey, it's okay. Just be happy and do not hold on to old grudges. Take care of family for me, please." Pepper was beside you and she started crying harder when she heard him. "Steve, come here for a second."

"I am so sorry for everything. You will always be my friend, Stark."

"We both were in the wrong, Cap. For what it's worth, do not lose (Y/N) because she is the best thing that has happened to you."

Tony was on his last breaths now and you both moved aside because Pepper wanted to have some last moments with him. There were some rifts in the team since the civil war but at this moment, you all were in this together. Tony was the one who brought you all together and saved many of you from your abusive lives. He was your best friend and you didn't know how you would spend your life without his sarcastic comments and his new inventions.

"You go, Tony. We are going to be okay. I love you." The words that left Pepper were a mere whisper but because of the pin drop silence, you were able to hear her.

"I love you too," Uttering his last words, he finally closed his eyes and all that could be heard were Pepper's wails of agony. Everything after it was a blur; the med bay, the briefing, the funeral. Time seemed to pass you by and you were numb the whole time. It was like a large piece of your heart was torn away from you and you didn't know how to react.

"(Y/N), can we talk?" Natasha lightly knocked on your door before you muttered a small come in. She looked around the room and noticed the lack of pictures in your room. The warmth that once radiated from your room was now gone. There were pictures of you with the team, with Steve and with Natasha. You liked to capture all the memories and it was one of the things the team loved about you.

"Hi."

"Hello. I just wanted to see how you were doing after everything."

"I am fine. Just processing everything." The loose thread on your blanket was the main focus of your attention right now.

"You don't seem fine. I know you, (Y/N)."

"No, you don't." Scoffing at her ridiculous statement, you felt anger bubbling inside your chest. "You were one of the first people who became my friend when I came to this tower. You knew I couldn't live without Chris and you. You both were my support system."

"(Y/N), I wanted to tell you everything. Believe me, I did. But we had to keep it a secret because we had to protect the other avengers as well."

"I have been listening to this reason from the past few days and I am done. I was ready to help you guys and you could have just contacted me once. I didn't know if you were dead or alive."

"I am sorry. I wanted to do it but it was never the right time. Half of the times you were surrounded by government officials. Can you forgive me?" The red head came and sat next to you on the bed.

"I can but I don't know if we can go back to the way things were."

"It's okay. We will be friends again. And as a new friend, I just want to tell you that Steve was miserable these past two years and he loves you so much."

"I don't want to talk about him, Nat. Let's go to the gym and spar."

"I am going to kick your ass as alway, (Y/L/N)."

"I have been practicing, Romanoff." You both went on to sparring and Natasha won in the end. However, the whole day you kept thinking about your ex boyfriend. He had been trying to talk to you from the past two weeks. It was hard for you to ignore him but you were now reminded of the times when he compared you with Peggy.

The small things that you did was always met with criticism like Peggy did not work in the field like this or Peggy wouldn't talk to him like a brat. Apparently, she was the mature one and you could never compare to her. Most of the times, you tried not to let the comments get to you but you were human. He might have done it unintentionally and you didn't want to hold it against him. But it hurt.

"We are going to talk today and you are not going to run away this time." He blocked you in the kitchen when you came out of your room to drink some water.

"Funny how you are saying that I am the one that is running away. Hypocrite much now, are we?"

"(Y/N), I am apologising to you because I can't live without you."

"You did so well for two years, I don't know why it is a problem now."

"I understand that you are angry with me. I wanted to be with you so bad but my duty as Captain prevented me from it." Your face was turned away from Steve but you turned towards him when you heard the words leave his mouth.

"Your job is more important than me?" Enraged, all you could see was red and you wanted to punch the daylights out of him.

"I thought it was but not anymore. You are the most important thing in my life and I don't want to lose you."

"Well, you have other women in your life so you don't need me."

"What other women?" Steve's confused gaze swept over your face when you spit those words out.

"I know about Sharon. You kissed her when we were still together. You cheated on me and I hate you for it." Pointing your fingers at his chest, you didn't realise when your voice started to rise.

Steve held your hands and pulled you close to his chest. "Sharon kissed me and I immediately backed off. I would never cheat on you."

You couldn't believe your ears right now. This was one of the things that helped you get over Steve. Believing that he cheated on you, made it a lot easier for you to despise him. Granted that never happened but it was still easier. However, he was still stuck in the past and he did not want to admit it.

"Even if Sharon is not a problem, you are still stuck in the past."

"What do you mean?"

"You are still in love with Peggy and I can not be your second choice anymore."

"Peggy has got nothing to do with this. She is dead and I love you."

"But I would have never been the one you loved if Peggy was here."

"That's not true. You both are totally different people and I love you now." Steve didn't know how to explain it to you. The things he felt for you were totally different for what he felt for Peggy. You made his breath hitch and his heart pounded whenever you smiled at him. He was so in love with you that he didn't think it was possible to love someone this much.

He knew that he compared you with Peggy before he left but at that time he was not ready to leave the past. It was unfair of him to do that to you while you tried very hard to meet all his expectations. However, he realised afterwards that you did not have to meet any of his expectations because you exceeded all of them. He felt so guilty and he just wanted to have you back in his life and forget about all the things that happened.

"I don't believe you."

"Please do. I want us to be okay before I go to return all the stones."

"You do that and then we can talk about us." He gave you a quick peck on the cheek before you could say anything. You were pretty sure that would stay back with Peggy and that's why you didn't want to reconcile things. You didn't want him to break your heart again.

"Ready to go, Cap?" Scott asked as he rechecked the time machine again. Everyone glanced at each other when he said that because they all thought that Steve might remain in the past for Peggy. They all had their doubts but everyone was scared to say them out loud. "You only have five seconds to get back before you are stuck."

"Ready." He glanced at you one last time and stepped in to the machine. You held your breath as Scott counted out loud and when he reached the number four, you were sure that he wasn't coming back. You were about to turn back when a snapping sound echoed throughout the room.

"I told you I will come back." Coming to a halt right in front of you, you couldn't believe your eyes. You pulled him in and kissed him ferociously.

"I love you."

"I love you too and remember that no one compares to you. I am really sorry."

"It's okay. You passed the test." When you both kissed again, all of your friends cheered for you.

As time passed by, you realised that Steve was the best person you could have possibly ended up. He was the literally the man of your dreams. Waking up to him every morning, cuddled up in your bed to going to bed with him kissing you goodnight. Steve made you breakfast every morning even when he was getting late and weekends were only reserved you.

The day that he proposed was still so clear on your mind. You remembered how he was nervous for a week that you thought something was seriously wrong with him. He would stutter and sweat when you got too close to him like it was a new relationship. There was a barbecue for the whole team on the compound and you all were gathered around the garden with drinks in hand. Everyone was enjoying it to the fullest when out of nowhere Steve knelt in front of you with a ring in his hand. After listening to his speech, you said yes with tears in your eyes.

"Are you ready?" Natasha asked you as she smoothed down your wedding dress that you spent months picking out.

"Yes." Pepper helped Morgan with the flower basket because the seven year old wanted to be the flower girl.

"Okay, then it's time." Walking down the aisle was worth it when you saw the adoration flicker in his eyes. He said some of the most heart warming words that had you ruining your eye makeup. It was a beautiful ceremony that only included close family and friends. You wanted a private wedding and you announced it to the world the next day. They all went crazy but the positive response was overwhelming to say the least.

Four months in to the wedding, you realised you were pregnant. Natasha was the one who sat beside when you waited for the test while Pepper brought a million of them for you. You were scared to tell him because you never discussed the possibility of having kids in detail.

"Just tell him. He is going to be ecstatic." Natasha tried to soothe you when you started crying with your face in between your hands.

"Okay. Steve will be home anytime soon."

"We should probably get going." Pepper and Natasha made their way towards the door and gently closed it.

"Hey, babe." Kissing you on the cheek, he immediately went to the washroom to take a shower.

"We need to talk."

"Sure. What's up?"

"I am pregnant." Blurting it out was not what you had planned but you couldn't think of another way. He stopped folding his armor midway and just looked at you with disbelief in his eyes.

"Are you serious? Oh my god. When did you find out? I am so happy, baby."

"I found out about an hour ago. And you are seriously happy?"

"Of course, I am. We will have a mini you or me with us in nine months. I love you, baby."

"I love you too." Keeping his hands on your stomach, he hugged you tightly and you knew that you got your happy ending. You were one of the luckiest people alive because you have a husband like Steve and now you were going to have family with him.

Ooooh the angst!! The cherik fandom has an abundance of angst fics and I could probably make a list of hundred fics to recommend, but these are some of my favourite angsty cherik fics. I should warn you though, some of these require tissues.

Summary: Erik dies, or finds a reversey-time mutant, or a magical time travelling device, and wakes up in the past. This time, though, it's before he ever met Charles - in fact, it's before his mother died.

He can save his mother that one time (thanks to his mastery over powers carrying back), but what does Erik do after that? Does he stick around, or escape and run to find Charles again (and hope everything doesn't go wrong)?

I'd like to see a completely straight!Charles, out of pure love and care of Erik, initiate a romantic relationship with him. It can be because he wishes to give Erik something positive in his life or because he thinks it might help change Erik's mind about Shaw, the reason is up to author. Also, while Charles finds intimacy with Erik strange and awkward, he does enjoy the new, non-romantic layers that have developed in their relationship.

Summary: Charles, Erik, apple seeds and Shakespearean love affairs.

Ashes, Ashes – winterhill

Summary: Post-apocalyptic AU — When the bombs fall, and mutually assured destruction occurs, it turns out that Shaw was right and radiation does enhance mutant powers. Snapshots of the XMFC main ensemble in the time after the bombs: Erik decides to stay, Moira thinks she might be the only human left, Raven is having trouble sleeping, and Charles is losing his mind.

I reject your reality and substitute my own. Doesn't really work that way, both ways.

Summary: Charles wakes up without his memory. His sole caretaker, Erik, claims to be his husband, and tells him he's recovering from a car accident on their honeymoon.

Summary: When Charles got back from Cuba, he lost the two things which made him stand: his legs and the love of his life, Erik Lehnsherr. Charles can get used to the wheelchair but he won't ever be able to get pass the loss of Erik.

"I wish I never met him" is something Charles says one night, maybe a bit drunk, absolutely wrecked for sure. It's a bit silly but Charles figures out his only solution is to use his own powers to erase Erik from his mind, progressively.

Except one day Erik comes back to the Xavier mansion to win him back. And even if Charles doesn't want to stop forgetting about him, Erik will do anything he can to convince him otherwise.

Das Haus am See – sareyen

Summary: The Lake House AU:

Erik is an estate planning lawyer who takes some time off to get away from the big city after his marriage fell apart. He lives in a picturesque lake house by Chautauqua Lake for almost two years, before moving back to New York City. This is in 2019.

Charles is a famous but very private author stuck in a creative rut, and moves to his lakeside estate for a short while to try and find a reason to write again. This is in 2017.

By magic or fate, Charles and Erik discover that the letter box at the lake house has the ability to send letters through time, between Charles in 2017 and Erik in 2019. Through letters that transcend the barriers of time, Charles and Erik fall in love. Charles vows to find Erik two years in his future, and Erik promises to wait for him. Two years - just two, meagre years.

But, fate is fickle, and time waits for no one.

Appropriate Boundaries – Yahtzee

Summary: Charles has been having serious problems with back cramps in the year and a half since he's been in a wheelchair. His doctor prescribes massage therapy. But when Charles meets his masseur, Erik, in some ways they begin to heal each other. So how do you cross the boundaries between professional touch -- and the personal?

A Note on Paranoid Bella

For those not in the know, this is Paranoid Bella, she's paranoid. Remember, what keeps her alive and her main trait is that she's paranoid. She trusts no one: not the Cullens, not Edward, and certainly not the red eyed people eaters that enter the Cullen's home on the pretext of being old friends of Carlisle.

In Volterra she defects because she's given a very clear reason of why the Volturi would want her, what her purpose would be, and it's a give and take. Aro's not offering her a position out of the goodness of his heart and so Bella can in some way trust the offer.

These guys just showing up? Yeah, they want to eat her or make her Dracula's bride. Bella's just going to wait and see how this one plays out the same way she did with James and company.

And she's not wrong to.

Scenario 1

Demetri pops in (likely to be him as he'd be the one who knows where people are), sees a very delicious smelling human, and assumes Carlisle after centuries has come to his senses and has thrown this ridiculous celebration to devour this virgin.

Wait until Aro hears the news!

In other words, he assumes Bella is a snack, as most vampires would.

He congratulates Carlisle, asks if this is the only one, and Carlisle starts sweating bullets. "No, you see, this is my son's human girlfriend who he has no intention of turning" suddenly doesn't seem like such a great explanation.

But good god, that girl smells delicious, and before Carlisle can come up with some explanation or Edward can sprint with Bella out of the house, Demetri asks if Carlisle minds if he takes this one. It's been a long journey and Demetri's famished.

Before anyone can protest, Demetri eats Bella. Which mean Jasper and Esme also end up licking Bella off the carpet.

It's a terrible day for all.

Scenario 2

Carlisle interjects and notes he is still very much on the diet, fish are friends, not food. Bella is their guest, it's her birthday, and she's... um... Edward's human girlfriend.

The fuck? Demetri asks. Demetri asks them to explain, from the beginning (and by them he means Carlisle because the rest of these people are just Carlisle groupies).

Well, the explanation is weird. Demetri... doesn't get it.

He points out that sooner or later, the Cullens have to turn the girl or kill her, that's the law. So... if they like her, they should probably turn her before blondie over there eats her alive.

(Edward in the background is having a meltdown, this is the worst day of his life).

Bella pipes in that, actually, she's alright with being turned and ready to depart the human world. Demetri is pleased, see, the girl knows where it's at. He gives a very expectant look to Carlisle.

Between Demetri sitting right there, not buying any excuse to stall as he doesn't understand this 'graduation' concept, and Bella looking at him equally expectant, Carlisle finds himself turning Bella that night.

Edward never forgives him and likely tries to mercy kill Bella for becoming a monstrosity against her will.

Scenario 3

Demetri walks in five seconds later to Bella thrown into a glass table, blood everywhere, and a giant disaster. He assumes that Carlisle finally broke down on the diet thing, congratulates him, and probably eats Bella depending how hungry he is.

Everyone was so focused on Jasper not eating Bella that they never saw this coming.

Scenario 4

Alice sees Demetri's decision to visit and, with tears in her eyes, regretfully calls off the birthday party. She's very upset by this, but it avoids secenarios 1-3 and the Volturi finding out about Bella. She makes Bella promise to attend a postponed birthday party, and offers profuse apologies but an old friend of Carlisle's is coming to visit and they... eat people. Bella doesn't ask questions.

The Cullens do a deep cleansing of the house and pretend that no human has ever been over. No siree, no law breaking here, Demetri. Demetri has a grand time.

The new and improved birthday happens after Demetri leaves, Bella may or may not get a paper cut, if she does not then Edward is not prompted to leave and likely plans to nobly leave her after her graduation. Otherwise the saga happens as normal and Demetri gets to find out a few months later that Edward had a human girlfriend and that's why he acted so prissy and weird.

Given the nature of Alice's gift, it's likely scenario 4 that happens. Bella lives. For now.

Remember this art?

This art was something I drew when I was starting to play OMORI. I wanted to do something with the same style so I created this. I thought it was going to be a one off thing, but someone brought me the idea of making an AU out of it so here I am now. This is going to be a long post about my OMORI C:R AU which has implied spoilers for how things go in OMORI.

⚠Just a small warning that this AU has a lot of dark themes including death/death mentions. You have been warned.⚠

To begin, it follows a similar beginning for C:R where the group is lured and then the murders begin, however, the whole group is not killed. Someone pointed out how if this is a fight between William, they would win with one hit because the springlocks would go off, killing him. That happens in this AU and the group is able to get help, but Daniel never made it out alive. Bianca cried and cried, holding onto him and hoping he was still there/would be able to make it by the time they got help, but unfortunately, he had already passed.

Bianca and Michael suffered the most. Michael still thinks it is all his fault and is a complete mess over it (reasonably so). Bianca is suffering greatly due to losing her closest friend. She does not grieve well and after the traumatic experience, creates her own headspace.

The AU follows the similar story (aside from The Truth/the reason for why Sunny has his own headspace), although things needed to be changed up since there is only four people in the party and one of them takes the role of Mari.

Bianca takes the role of Omori, now being known as GUI in Headspace. A constantly neutral person who is always carrying around her knife. Her and Michael are the best of friends.

Michael takes the role of Basil and Kel (in battle at least.) While Michael in the comic doesn't take care of flowers, he still has a garden that he takes care of. He also has a collection of plushies at his house that he is very happy with/enjoys to show his friends. He carries around that one flower in his hand that can move on it's own! It helps him in battle quite a lot.

Charlie takes the role of Hero. She is the main healer in the group that is always there to cheer on the others. She also has her pet cat named Sugar! Sugar goes off to explore occasionally and will come back with new items for the group to have. A very helpful cat! Sometimes... It depends on the kind of items brought back!

Francis takes the role of Kel and Aubrey (in battle at least.) He is the tank in the party when it comes to battles, although personality-wise, he is very similar to Kel. Unlike the others, he is not entirely human since his hair can light on fire through strong emotions. The fire only gets stronger the more emotional he gets and will only get dimmer if someone calms him down. His hands and feet also heat up, allowing him to get a speed and power increase whenever he is at the highest emotion he can be (mostly enraged though.)

Daniel takes the role of Mari. He is always at the save points and will be there to help keep track of what the party needs to do. He just wants to see them have fun for the most part. He is very kind to them and mostly chill, occasionally sleeping at the "picnic" while waiting for his friends to come back. He really enjoys Gui and Michael's company a lot.

Now, if you know how the game goes, you might be wondering how exactly they go on this big adventure in Headspace if Michael is still on the team for the most part!

They lose Michael for a bit, actually. After a fun game of hide n' seek and going to Michael's house, Michael goes missing when he picks up a Springbonnie plush that had fallen from the pile he was carrying over to his bed. He is reminded of what happened and similar to the game, everything goes from happy to dark really quick as Gui stops the dream. Gui then finds herself back in White Space with only one thing to do.

The next time Gui is back, Michael has gone missing! But he is not gone for long because they actually find him when looking through the first area (which is the Vast Forest.) He states that he had seen this big, golden rabbit around and wanted to follow it, but he lost it halfway through and can't find it anymore. He wants to find it though so the party agrees to look for it with him!

They end up going to make different areas in Headspace when on this search, but in each area, their assistance is needed in one way or another and they get sidetracked with helping others. At the end of the day, they all have one mission. Daniel is always cheering them on while they are going on these missions, always there for them if they need to stop and relax for a bit before continuing on.

In Headspace, it is always Michael's birthday! Everyone is used to it being that way! Yet...none of them ever age. They're always the same age they were the day before (with it being Michael's 12th birthday.) Why exactly is that? Well, Michael's birthday as the last time Bianca felt truly happy with all of her friends. She wants to hold onto that for as long as she can which is why it is endless. If the birthday party never stops, nothing bad will happen and they will all be happy together forever!

The times where the world begins to break and shows the cracks of reality symbolizes the party coming to an end. Bianca can't escape reality forever, inevitably waking up the next day, back into a world where Daniel is gone and she can't see him ever again.

A LOT has changed in the real world. Unfortunately, I don't have as much designs for the characters just yet, only this real world Bianca.

Bianca takes the place of Sunny in the real world. After what happened, she completely isolated herself for four years, spending most of that time inside staying in Headspace so she doesn't need to face reality. She has barely taken care of herself over those years. In the true route (where she goes outside), she wears a jacket to hide the fact that she is terribly malnourished. She also just looks empty and acts like it too, never saying much and always just wandering along, sometimes aimlessly. She even hallucinates occasionally and sees Headspace characters around the town.

Michael takes the place of Basil in the real world. He isn't doing so well either, especially physically since similar to Bianca, he hasn't been taking care of himself. Unlike Bianca, he still goes out into the real world. He actually dislikes sleeping most of the time because all he ever has is nightmares. He still greatly holds the entire situation against himself and feels guilt a lot, resulting in him distancing himself from his friends.

Francis takes the place of Kel in the real world. He is the one that brought Bianca outside of her home and hasn't stopped trying to get in contact with her. His time after Daniel passed was one of mixed emotions. All of them were so young and didn't know how to grieve that well. When everyone went their own ways to grieve, he felt abandoned. This sadness turned into anger as he turned out to be someone who had a lot of outbursts. Four years later though, he was able to move on (somewhat) and just wants to check on the others at this point. This is one of the reasons for why he brought Bianca out in the first place! He wanted to check up on her, but heard that she hasn't left her house in so long and that made him worry. Her appearance makes him worry even more. She is no longer the confident and energetic kid she was before.

Charlie takes the place of Hero in the real world. Two years after what happened, she moved away from Hurricane, Utah with her father, not only to move on, but also because she got accepted into a new school somewhere away. Her and her father come back for the summer so she can reconnect with her old friends! She is still the same caring person she was before, ending up taking her friends out to get something to eat. She just wants to get everyone together again, but it is obvious there is still tension. She understands though, she still hasn't recovered from what happened.

There is also some other characters that are included in the real world sections like Kenny. These characters only show up because Francis made some more friends while Michael, Bianca, and Charlie went on their own paths/ways.

The days still go similar to how they are in-game. The first day is one Bianca spends with Francis as he just wants to hang out again and Bianca reunites with Michael again. The second day has Charlie coming back and hanging out with everyone, ending with Francis and Charlie having a sleepover at Bianca's place. The final day has more content with them and most likely Michael, although I am not entirely sure yet. Everything gets a bit fuzzy when it comes to real world parts.

There is still a good ending and a bad ending though, plus the whole hikikomori route. At the moment, only the good ending and bad/neutral ending have been planned.

The last bit I have to talk about is Black Space. How does Black Space come to be if Michael is there for most of the time in the group? Well, after what is supposed to be the Humphrey section, the group begins to retrace their steps because they have reached the end of the line. Going back along Deeper Well, Michael ends up tripping and falling into the void below. The group panics because Michael is now gone! Instead of panicking, Gui goes to rescue Michael from this void area, ending up in Black Space.

When entering, Gui meets Stranger Michael who watches over Gui while Gui is going through the rooms and talks to her. He is completely cloaked in shadows and looks more like the real world version (him during the day of the party) instead of the Headspace version. He is rather frustrated/tired of what Gui is doing, especially with the death rooms.

Not all of the rooms are planned yet, but there is quite a bit regarding the "death rooms for Basil" that happen in the game. Since we want to keep them similar, there is at least 5 rooms where Michael ends up dying. These deaths are the same as the deaths that happen in the actual comic.

At the moment, that is all we have regarding the AU! There is more details here and there that were left out, but more will come as art is made for it. There is still a lot of planning to be done for it, but I hope it was a good read nonetheless! Thanks for reading!

The Two Zavalas.

This will probably get rambly because I’m writing off the cuff but here goes. I have to say, as someone who was not a fan of the so-called unreleased lore book (Those We’ve Lost), I really, really like the Forbidden Memory lore entry. I just did not like the writing on most of the entries of Those We’ve Lost (the one about Ayane Takanome was the only one that really came alive for me). The one about Zavala and his wife just never stuck the landing with me for a number of reasons. I’m not against the idea of him having a mortal wife in his past, I actually really like the concept (I’ve written it myself) but I would prefer it if she had a character/personality outside of being a dead someone to give him angst (that’s a concern I also have with Forbidden Memory but hopefully they’ll develop her a bit more in future).

The main things I didn’t like in Those We’ve Lost were the characterisation and the thematic take-away. The characterisation was just too unsubtle for me. Zavala was portrayed as emotionally stunted, while Shaxx was a flawless mega-chad who shouted all the time (If you want good Shaxx characterisation, this is where it’s at). I don’t think this broad strokes characterisation did either of them justice. As for the take away, I genuinely feel it was massively out of character for Zavala to imply that he shut down emotionally and wouldn’t open up again because it hurt too much. That’s just not how I see Zavala and I have never seen him that way. This new, actual canon, lore entry makes me even more certain in my interpretation of him.

Zavala is not devoid of emotion, he merely seems that way at first glance because of something this lore entry draws attention to: There are two Zavalas. First, there’s his public-facing self, the Commander. The Commander is steadfast, serious, stolid, confident-sounding. But then there’s Just Zavala. Just Zavala, by contrast, is anxious, he worries, he’s a little shy and socially awkward. He’s a nerdy bookworm who dunts his head on the ground and sneezes when he’s trying to be reverential. I’ve said for a long time that Zavala is a difficult character to get a handle on because most of what we see of him is an act. The player/Young Wolf never sees Just Zavala, they only ever see the Commander persona and he’s a very different animal from Just Zavala.

The Commander is driven by duty, he’ll put his personal feelings aside for the sake of what has to be done, he has a harsh edge to him. Just Zavala loves crochet, goes out of his way to make friends with Eva, checks up on Amanda and takes her out for lunch, worries about Eris, allows himself to be emotional in front of Ikora, jokes with Hawthorne. The Commander has no time for anything softer than iron but Just Zavala? He’s soft.

So the take-away from Those we’ve Lost is that Zavala is unemotional because he’s so hampered by grief, just does not ring true to me. The Commander might always keep a tight leash on his emotions but Just Zavala cultivates personal relationships quite deliberately and some of his most important relationships are with mortals.

So why do I think the take away from Forbidden Memory is different from Those We’ve Lost? Because there’s an acceptance in Forbidden Memory, the mood of the prose isn’t that Zavala just can’t go on, he’s honouring her memory in a very specific way. He remembers and mourns but he accepts he can’t go back to those times, he has to let her go (a philosophy that’s perfectly in line with someone who loves poetry by a zen buddhist). Also, the “parlour trick” line hints at an affectionate playfulness within him that the player never gets to see. Also, his choosing to do the parlour trick at the memorial suggests that he can focus on happy times, that he in no way regrets what he had with her, despite the pain of losing her. This lore entry is bittersweet, yet life-affirming in a way Those We’ve Lost wasn’t.

For me, the take away from his relationship with this woman isn’t that it left him emotionally hamstrung, rather, it gave him an insight into humanity that some other Lightbearers might lack. It’s clear that some humans see Guardians as a strange, alien breed because many Guardians set themselves apart from humanity. But Zavala isn’t like that. To my mind, this entry goes a long way to explaining why he’s such a dogged champion for humanity. He loved her, she who was “mortal and perfect,” he sees the value in humanity because he loved (and clearly still loves) a human. His love doesn’t bog him down in grief, it’s a motivation, it’s the reason he will always put the City before the Traveler, it’s the reason he’s so dedicated to saving humanity, it’s why he nurtured Amanda’s talents, it’s why he befriended Eva, it’s why he persauded Hawthorne to stay and essentially made her an honorary Guardian. He didn’t just love a human, he loves humanity and will do everything he can to preserve it. He doesn’t just honour her at the memorial, he honours her every time he puts on his armour and along with it, his Commander persona.

OnS Chapter 99 - Deep analysis - Love

Hello everyone, I hope you’ve been well; remember to take care of yourself everyone!

The new chapter is out, and of course,analysis and theories will come but, there’s something I want to talk about which was discussed with two friends from discord.

Therefore, let’s begin!

One of the things this chapter carried was “Love”. And many might say or state it’s the cliché of undeveloped romance but, the issue is, that’s not the central point of the story, how can I say this?

In one of the Afterwards Kagami released that sadly it’s not translated and I asked my friend which translated the raw chapters each time they were released to translate it; Kagami states the value of family and love, but for that, let’s talk about it on how that applies towards the story.

First of all, Kagami Takaya stated long ago that Romance wasn’t the main theme of the story; which so far has been true until the doubt that was born during the current chapter. But there’s a huge issue everyone dismisses, what could it be?

The issue is, love takes many forms, it’s not only romantic love or yearning for another person; how can I say this?

Within each chapter, we’ve seen love countless times among humans; and this isn’t romantic wise; it goes to the small shape of caring for another, it goes to worrying for the well being of another:

It might seem like it’s a common panel with comedy but actually, that’s the first time Shiho Kimizuki shows love and affection in the shape of caring twards a friend, towards family; towards someone who supported and encouraged him to take a decision in way more early chapters.

It’s true the squad is young, it’s true they’eve spent at least 5 months together due to how the story began; but yet, they slowly started to take care of each other in their own ways without stating it clearly.

Another proof of such emotion is this:

Another view of this is back in chapter 23 when Shinoa was going to tell Yu about the incident that happened when he became a seraph for the first time; but before that, the squad wanted to make a peaceful dialogue first and for that, they started to do it like a family would; Shinoa and Mitsuba aimed to cook for the guys that technically are the strength of the squad when it comes to defense; but of course, both ladies don’t know how to cook and this ended up depending on Shiho Kimizuki to cook a breakfast for the whole squad, therefore, what’s the point to this?

Correct. Love isn’t romance alone; love is caring for each other, making sure to deliver an appropiate notice to someone you care and that’s what the squad did together; they worry about Yu and true, they might not express it towards words but they can do it through actions:

Yoichi used something Yu repeated to them and that goes to what Mika taught him back when they were in the vampire capital; they became family, they took care of each other’s back and this applied to Mikaela as well not due to him being an important person to Yu but rather because they care about Yu’s happiness and well being; they care for a person that means a lot to someone within the squad and it’s reflected a lot on Mikaela when he showed distrust towards Yu’s friends.

Another form of love despite the picture uploaded is the fact that Guren loves deeply his friends and specially Shinya, does this mean it’s romantic?

No. Shinya was the very first friend Guren had, a friend that supported his idea to destroy the Hiragi Family so they could be free from their graps ever since the events before the Catastrophe; they trusted each other in order to find out what they Family planned along what Mahiru aimed; both were partners in arms to check each other’s back and eventually, those two started to find more friends which later on became Mito, Goshi, Sayuri and Shigure; and the reason for Sayuri and Shigure to be friends was because they’ve been loyal to Guren; they were supporting pillars but they saw themselves as followers from the Ichinose household until that slowly changed; they saw each other as equals and friends as well.

Even when the world was going to end, they raced towards it bravely even if it meant dying in the process, but of course,Guren couldn’t withstand such event which lead to the Resurrection.

Is there any other form of love?

Of course there is:

While it’s true the scene displays Kureto struggling agaisnt Shikama Doji and relies on kissing Aoi; it’s true that Kureto does harbor feelings towards Aoi but the fact that the shadow of his father, the shadow of the whole Hiragi Family was casted on each member; this only made that Kureto couldn’t express such feelings at ease, but such emotion of love could be seen back in the last volume of the LNs of the Catastrophe.

After the fight Kureto had with Mahiru; Kureto dialed his father to ask if this was also aware of everything to which Tenri replied that it was; that everything was proceeding according to certain plan.

And of course, during this conversation, Aoi Sangu became Tenri’s hostage since he ordered to shot Aoi; Kureto of course worried about her and made Aoi use her cursed gear to heal herself; and you might wonder, where’s the love within this?

The love in there as it’s pure form is the fact that Kureto does care about Aoi’s well being despite her being the least enjoyable character to see within the story by what the fandom has expressed so far and. Kureto despite having a cold demanor cares a lot about Aoi and it’s well seen in the fight against Tenri, when he goes and protects her.

Another form of love is the one that displayed Mikaela Hyakuya towards Yuichiro Hyakuya, a selfless love that was born from the very bottom of his heart:

Correct. Mikaela told Yu he loved him; such form of love it’s the purest because Yu meant the world to Mikaela; Yu became his light to fight all the things his heart endured, Mikaela wanted to see Yu happy, he wanted to see him safe after the events of Ferid killing their family in front of them without mercy.

Yu and Mika have had a strong bond with all the time they’ve spent together; they knew what bothered them along when to scold each other whenever was uneasiness.

The love Mika displays towards Yu is a sincere form of love, the one that aims or seeks to see the well being of an important person; a love that aims the total security of said person but within this, it does not only focus on that; Mikaela despite being a vampire was able to keep lingering emotions since his reason to live was still alive; he was aware of Yu’s nature and yet, he did his best to ensure his safety despite adversity; but within this, he was aware Yu was in good hands, he had a family that cared about him, and of course, may might say chapter 95 was the opposite of it but, chapter 99 really striked down on such beliefs:

Shiho and Yoichi were the first ones to get triggered by Yu’s easy emotions of just hearing Mikaela will be saved.

They doubted Guren for his actions and how it delivered to Mikaela’s death. They’re young, they don’t know how to express the form of love that goes by embracing someone or giving support words but one thing they do display is through actions; they care about Yu and care about what Mika held dear as well; they’ve lost their important ones in the process and they’re not willing to lose more.

And lastly, the love that confessed Shinoa Hiragi to Shikama Doji; while it’s considered quite surprising and even as something manipulated; in fact, that’s not really the case; Shinoa wanted to have a normal life, being a normal girl but she was aware she wouldn’t be one from the beginning and specially after remembering the events on which Mahiru ended sealing her emotions:

I understand very well that this might be unpleasant to some, or joyful for others; as the writer of this analysis, I don’t find it joyful nor unpleasant; everything is held within a neutral point of view; and what it’s displayed in said chapter is actually Shinoa accepting what her heart feels. She’s aware her heart does beat fast when she’s close to Yu but it doesn’t mean she’s obsessed with him nor means she lusts for him; but rather, just like Mikaela; she wants to see him happy, that for once he manages to have a happy life, that he is safe just like the squad does too.

The main focus of the story asides from defeating the First Progenitor isn’t about creating romance; but rather to show that love takes shapes, love is built with time, it can go for appreciation, respect, careness, happiness for the wellbeing of someone that changed a life.

P.S: Analysis are held within a neutral view, they don’t support ships nor anything. The choice of shipping goes only to each respective reader.

The purpose of this analysis is not to justify or say Kagami is enforcing romance but rather, he is aiming to show that adminst catastrophic events, “love” is the key to keep standing, to keep fighting even if the reasons to live may be silly.

And just like my favorite lore story which is Honkai Impact 3rd, they always state: “Fight for all that’s beautiful in the World.”

That is applied within this chapter as well. A fight against a being that has a God complex.

Athena and Ares

(Just my thoughts on them and their relationship)

I have a lot of feelings about these two. They have a very complex dynamic, where they don’t really like each other, but they can’t work without each other either.

Athena provides rationality to the cruelty of war. She is the strategy and logic behind it. The objective. One might say she represents the generals, and the politicians and the main heroes. Basically the big players.

And Ares? He’s the opposite. He represents the emotion associated with war. He is the bloodlust and the desperate fight. Where the battle is thickest, where there is no room for thought, and when its pure survival instinct that drives you, that’s Ares. He represents the worst parts: the blood and the violence and the cruelty. He is accompanied by fear and terror (Phobos and Deimos). One might say he is the god of soldiers.

So they need each other. If they actually worked together, they’d be one of the dangerous forces ever, even in god circles. But they don’t. Not only because of how differently they view the world, but also because of deeper nuances in their relationship.

Athena is beloved. She is Zeus’ favourite child and his right hand goddess. The people love her. She is the patron of one of the most powerful, influential cities, Athens. She is highly respected everywhere else too. A protector of heroes and a friend to humanity.

Ares, on the other hand, is disliked by many. Zeus says he is “the most hateful of all gods” and says he would have thrown him into Tartarus if he wasn’t his and Hera’s son. (Its in the Iliad) (This part always makes me sad poor ares) He is highly respected in Thrace and Sparta. But Athens dislikes him and worships him out of necessity only.

Even in modern times, Athena is considered a feminist icon and badass lady, while Ares is labelled a brute.

Most people know this. So why did I just type out all that? Cause context is important when delving into the myths.

So first of all, let’s debunk that last point I made. In the ancient myths (and I’ll try not to include romans esp. Ovid), it didn’t work that way at all. Of course it’s important to keep in mind that ancient Greece was very misogynistic. But still, Athena was not feminist at all. Her being a “masculine” woman (mostly) was what made her so acceptable to Athens and she was regularly used to shut down other women. Also:

(The actual translation of this scene was circulated a while back. So you’re probably familiar with this. Also I’m not saying this to offend any worshippers of Athena or anyone who admires her. There are a lot of bad things in greek mythology and Athena’s internal and external misogyny is probably the least of my concerns. Plus if the greek gods did exist, i believe they change with the society, so they will no longer be Like That in the present day.)

Ares, on the other hand, was incredibly feminist, especially for that time. He surrounded himself with women he loved and respected. (Aphrodite, Eris, Enyo, etc). His lovers were often famously women who challenged the status quo (Otrera, Cyrene). He was regularly show to be a good father to all his daughters, immortal and mortal. (Harmonia, Hippolyta, Penthesilia, Alkippe). Also:

Anyway, I won’t delve deep into that (well, any more than I’ve already rambled about it).

Now that we have gotten that out of the way, we can get to the hypotheticals.

I headcanon that despite ALL the evidence to the contrary, they maybe don’t despise each other completely. I see them having more of a love-hate relationship.

The thing is, gods are very contrary creatures. Zeus and Hera’s fights shake the world one moment, and in the next, they are as loving as any. Apollo is smiling and singing in one moment and skinning a satyr alive in the next. This complexity should be given this relationship too.

Like I said above, they need each other. Both general and soldier are equally important in war. And I don’t think you can completely truly need someone and hate their existence at the same time. (There are exceptions)

This scene in the Iliad really got me thinking:

If you take the scene at face value, this is probably not something to think too much about. Its Athena going to Ares, insulting him a bit, and taking him away from the war.

But its more than that. First off, Athena goes upto Ares and can calmly convince him to listen to her. Second, look how she frames the question. She says “shall we” which i think is pretty important. Athena doesn’t need to worry about Zeus’ anger or his rules, as she shows later on in the Iliad, and before, during the Rebellion. Both Athena and Ares knows this well. So why does she also need to withdraw? She can make the point without adding herself to the equation. She can also fairly easily run him off the battlefield like she does later. But she doesn’t. And there isnt any hostility from Ares.

Instead, they go together, away from the battlefield and...sit down near a river bank? Basically relax as much as they can? That doesn’t sound like a hateful relationship.

There is also the fact that Ares was going to join sides with the greeks (aka on Athena and Hera’s side) until Aphrodite convinced him to join her instead.

Its clear from this that Ares doesn’t really have much of a stake in this fight. He doesn’t care much about the greater objectives of the war. The only thing that can convince him to take a side is the people one the sides. He fights for the people he cares about, not for any greater good. He easily changes his loyalty because of his love for Aphrodite. He frequently gets into fights to save his children. He goes against Diomedes partly because of how he wounded Aphrodite. All of this means that he cares for Athena too. (And for Hera ofc). Maybe he doesn’t care for her as much as he cares for Aphrodite, but its not really fair to expect him to.

I like to think they genuinely do care for each other a great deal, they just kinda suck at showing it. Maybe that changes as time passes. I can see Athena being quietly protective of Ares (maybe she makes up an excuse to send him away during the Rebellion because she knows he will be in danger otherwise). I definitely think she felt a little guilt (guilt, not regret) at stabbing Ares, seeing as it wasn’t really fair. Ares didn’t know she was there.

I also think that Ares, who spends a lot of time with awesome women and is very fierce in standing up for them if the need arises, will be the one who calls her out a lot of the time on her misogyny or hypocrisy. Athena also has a habit of suppressing any “vulnerable” emotion. She likes to keep all her guilt, sadness, fear, hurt, and regret all locked up tight. I feel like Ares is one of the few people she lets a few of those emotions out around, even if she still tries not to. And in the lighter moments, in private, maybe they joke around a bit and laugh, too.

Okay, now for the heavier bit. While i do think they care for each other, there is also a lot of resentment there. A lot of it, unfortunately, comes from how they are treated by their peers and elders. They like different people, they are liked by different people and they are liked to different degrees. Let’s talk about 3 of the main players.

1) Zeus. Does this surprise you?

I do think Zeus loves all his kids. He doesn’t like some of them, but he does love all of them. And he isn’t as bad of a father as everyone thinks. People have discussed that better so I’ll not rant about it here.

All that aside, he definitely has favourites. Athena is his favourite child (Apollo, I think, being his second). And this favouritism is SUPER OBVIOUS. Its like none of the rules apply to Athena, which is weird considering Zeus isn’t forgiving of those who defy his authority (did someone say Prometheus?)

Ares, on the other hand, is on the other side of the spectrum. The one Zeus dislikes the most.

We can see how this affects them in several instances. The most notable is probably in the Iliad, after Athena deceitfully stabs Ares and forces him to flee to Olympus, injured.

Ares calls Zeus out on his favouritism. He says that gods weren’t allowed to fight each other and if it were anyone else, they would have been punished. He says Zeus always does this, always lets Athena get away with everything, and that he needs to start getting his daughter under control.

Zeus doesnt like this too much and basically tells Ares to stop whining and that he isn’t much better when it comes to destruction. He says Ares is the most hateful of all gods and loves bloodshed. He says he would have gotten rid of him if he weren’t his son, but seeing as he was, Zeus cannot bear to see Ares in pain. He then gets Ares healed.

I can definitely see how this kind of blatant favouritism from someone who should be better to Ares would affect him. Ares is the firstborn son of Zeus and Hera. He should be getting a lot of respect, as per ancient standards but instead, he is overtaken by his virgin half sister from Zeus’ previous marriage, and many bastard half siblings.

Athena being able to break rules left and right, and Ares having to be nervous about even toeing the line will cause distance between them.

This in addition to his position as a god of civil order is a reason that i think he wouldn’t want to break any rule until he deems it absolutely necessary, like if someone he cared about were in danger.

I can totally see a situation where both of them try to help a hero but Zeus orders them not to. Athena then wants to break the rules, but Ares is very hesitant about doing so. Athena convinces him, either by taunting or by calmly urging him, to go along with it. They get caught but only Ares gets punished. Ares can then truly show Athena the difference between her and everyone else.

Remember when i headcanoned earlier that Athena sends Ares away during the Rebellion? That ties into this. She knows that if they get caught, ares could get into trouble whether or not he did anything. I expect Ares will be furious about it when he returns and finds out what happened though, thinking it was just to get him out of the way, until its revealed why she did it. Then he’ll probably be super awkward.

2) Poseidon

The equal and opposite force to Zeus.

Well, maybe not equal, but quite close.

Lets start with the canon. Poseidon HATES Athena, despises her completely, and he frequently clashes with her father too. They worked together one (1) time and as a result, Athena wasnt punished while Poseidon was enslaved for years. Then there is the fight for Athens, the whole epic of the Odyssey, and so on.

Meanwhile he and Ares are actually shown to be close. Other than the Halirhothius incident, they are pretty chill. Poseidon is the one who vouched for him after the Net Thing With Hephaestus. Poseidon is also pretty cool with Aphrodite and they work together occasionally.

I think Poseidon thinks of Athena as this bratty kid of his brother, who is constantly working against him. You know that one annoying cousin you have who you try to avoid during family reunions because you KNOW you will clash? This is that, but a thousand times worse.

Meanwhile Poseidon really cares for Ares, and Ares takes fatherly affection from anywhere he can get it. Poseidon maintains a good relationship with both Aphrodite and Ares. He is closer with Aphrodite and doesnt love Ares quite as much as Zeus loves Athena, but he still cares a lot.

3) Aphrodite

It is no secret that Athena hates Aphrodite. Even when Athena warns Diomedes not to harm any god, she says Aphrodite is the exception. Athena, along with many of the other Olympians, see her as nothing but a silly, flighty, hysterical goddess.

On the other hand, Aphrodite and Ares are known for their intense love for each other, from even before her arranged marriage. They have a lot of kids together, and are shown to be close with all of them. They each have like one story of jealousy/one story where they are at odds with each other, which is pretty good for such a high-profile couple (Aphrodite curses Eos and Ares kills Adonis). They are there for each other, like in the trojan war, when Aphrodite was wounded and Ares gave her his chariot to go back to Olympus. He also changed sides very soon, just because Aphrodite asked. Athena complains about this too.

I think I wouldn’t be far off in saying that Athena is definitely resentful of how close they are, and how much sway Aphrodite has over her brother.

While Athena definitely doesn’t see eye to eye with Ares, and disagrees with his domain, she still sees him as a War God. One of her kind. And she just doesn’t see how a War God can go for someone like Aphrodite. Basically, she doesn’t think Aphrodite is, for lack of a better term, good enough for Ares, seeing as she is a Love Goddess.

Ares, on the other hand, does not want to hear anything like this. He is fiercely defensive of Aphrodite. He defends her warlike aspect (Aphrodite Areia), while everyone else tells her that she has no place in the battlefield. He sees Aphrodite as more than what people have labelled her to be. Which is why I believe (other than Eos and Adonis), they have one of the healthiest open relationships in greek mythology.

This can definitely cause animosity between Athena and Ares, because of Athena’s scorn and Ares’ temper. It can also increase the conflict between Athena and Aphrodite.

Maybe as time goes on, Athena can start seeing Aphrodite as having more depth. I certainly hope so. While they wouldn’t be best friends, I don’t see why they can’t learn to get along. This could also strengthen Athena and Ares’ bond. As long as people don’t insult her or lay their claim on her domain of Love and Beauty, Aphrodite is often very supportive. I truly think Aphrodite can help Athena overcome her misogyny, with Ares.

In conclusion, Athena and Ares have a very complex relationship. They do not simply hate each other, and neither do they have the most loving relationship. But they do care for each other. But strain can often be put on their relationship from their relationship to other people as well. Hopefully as time passes, they can overcome that, and have a healthier relationship, instead of sharing a good moment and then proceeding to fight each other for the next 500 years.

STRIGA & MORANA

Morana followed Striga as they left Styira behind, always keeping her pace slightly behind Striga just in case someone- or something - decided to attack from behind. With their army at their side, they made certain to travel away from the catastrophe that occurred with Carmilla's death.

As their travel continued and the days passed, Striga knew Morana needed the comfort of knowing that they would be alright, that they would make it, but she was practical and she knew she could not promise what she did not know. The events at Styria had thrown all their plans to waste. And for that reason she knew that now was not the time to show emotions. Not when Issac had his own army of Night-creatures and Hector was alive, capable of using his damned hammer to create his own army as well. For now, their only chance of survival and rest had to be miles away from Styira in an abandoned Cathedral of all places in Verona.

"It's not much further," Morana said, noticing the distant expression on Striga's face. Had she known what was troubling Striga she would have tried to help ease her worries, but Striga was always so shielded and impenetrable to read. Verona was just a stop along the way, nothing permanent to their plan, but then again they didn't have a plan other than going West. Or a place…

"You shouldn't have to do this," Striga's voice echoed in the breeze, clearly she was upset about their current housing conditions. "We are Carmilla's sisters. Much more than that, we are Morana and Striga! They fear our name-"

Morana couldn't help but snort at that. Her light blue eyes glimmering with amusement. "They feared our name darling, now look what they've done to Styria. What they did to Carmilla and Lenore." Striga tsked at the sound of Lenore's name. She walked away from Morana, over to the edge of one of the Cathedral's pillars. Luckily the place was big enough to house most of the army inside, with enough space to give Morana and Striga their own private quarters, which was where they were at. In a practically empty stoned room with a crumbling window panel and missing stained glass.

"What they've done to us," Striga finished as she studied the grains of the stoned floor.

Morana approached her, sliding her hand up Striga's back pressing firmly over the tension in her shoulders, reaching over them and pulling Striga towards her, to face her. Affection was something that neither of them had shown recently, and Morana was eager to repair that. In front of the world they were vampires who were roughened by battle and queens in their own nature, but behind closed doors to each other they were love and devotion.

"The world would be bleeding rivers if I had lost you," she said as she caressed Striga's cheek and leaned forward kissing her lips tenderly. "But I have not. We get to spend eternity together and so, we have eternity to rise from the ashes of our destruction."

Striga's brow raised with interest as she looked down at Morana. She caressed her small face with her hand and watched as Morana leaned into her touch with her eyes closed. How vulnerable and tender she looked, a side no one else would see. Striga began to think how easily she could have never seen Morana's face again. How quickly she could be taken from her, just as Carmilla was vanquished. She frowned as she held onto Morana, "They will pay. All of them, Hector, Issac, every damn human to have so much as dared to live within 100 miles from you-"

Morana placed her hand over Striga's lips, preventing her from finishing. She could feel Striga's body tensing again. "Shh my love. Let us not poison our love with work."

Striga sighed and stepped aside, sitting on top of some old wooden crates. Her head bowing low as she looked at her hands, roughened by war. "How could I not think about all the work we have ahead of ourselves. I will not allow Carmilla's tragedy dictate our future."

Morana eyed Striga. She studied her in silence before moving to step in front of Striga and ran her hand through Striga's raven black hair. "You listen to me Striga, Queen of Styria, leader of the greatest vampire army in the world, honorable warrior and love of my being." She reached forward and lifted Striga's chin up, holding her head high. "You and I kept Styria thriving. We are mind and strength, we are Queens, we will take on those who turned their backs on us and take back what is ours, for we have worked so hard."

Striga's emerald eyes glistened as she heard Morana speak, she smirked and then she raised up from her seat to tower over her love. "I pledge my loyalty to you my Queen," Striga said with her hand over her heart.

"And I to you, my Queen," said Morana as she slid her hand down Striga's body sliding down to reach her hand.

Joined by the hands the two walked out of the vestry which for now was their chamber and out onto the main hall of the Cathedral, taking their place at the front of the Alter.

Some of the benches were removed and used as firewood, the little that remained was scattered across the aisle. Thousands of the vampire soldiers remained inside and quieted at the sight of their leaders. Those that remained posted outside, kept their ears perked to listen for orders as they kept watch.

Morana raised her arms above her, keeping her hand held onto Striga's. "We will continue going West. Not to run-"

"But to regain our strength," Striga added. They lowered their arms as they gave each other a quick glance before looking at their army.

"We will send the world a message. The Queens of Styria are not afraid and we are not weak," added Morana.

"They cannot take what they want from us. Carmilla died defending her castle, but we will not fail to defend what belongs to us, what we have built," continued Striga. She took a quick glance at Morana before continuing, "We will remind the world of its place. That they can not live without our control. They can not take whatever they please! This is our world! And if they were strong enough to throw us out and murder us, then they are strong enough to know this means War," She roared as she saw out into the faces of her fellow vampires. Every other human or creature was beneath them.

The vampires slammed their spears into the ground, a sound of thousands of metal clanging onto the floor in applause to their Queens.

Morana turned her attention as a scout vampire approached the alter, but remained a distance away. She stepped down and tilted her head, silently awaiting his report.

"Belmont lives. He and the Speaker along with Alucard are building a town."

Morana's head jerked at the sound of building a town and glared at the guard to speak faster. "Where?" She demanded as Striga strolled towards them, intrigued by the commotion.

"Around Dracula's castle," he paused. "Humans are allowed to go inside. It-It's a community," he finished.

"An army?" Striga raised an eyebrow as she looked to Morana who was lost in thought. "No, they must know an army of humans will never stand against us…No, there must be something more they're hiding," Morana finished.

The guard nodded. "I couldn't see much, but the Witch was there, and different. She smelled different, pure almost new."

Striga and Morana exchanged glances. "New?"

Morana gasped, her voice low, "Could it be? It would most certainly mean death and perhaps an end to vampires."

Striga shook her head, understanding the danger now. "A Belmont and a Speaker? It would be more powerful than either of them."

Morana shrugged as she ran her hand across her chin, "And with Alucard to protect it or any more its they decide to sire…"

"An army of their own," Striga finished.

"Unless there are none," Morana turned to look at Striga. They exchanged a glance. Carmilla's war was for herself, she wanted to own everything. But the birth of a Belmont and a Speaker, that could bring serious consequences to vampires once the child was of age. They don't wish to rule the world, but they wish to have the world respect them, vampires. Queens, who have lived longer than any other vampires and who deserve to be feared and attended to. If Issac hadn't sent an army against them yet, it must be because he knew.

Striga nodded, "They're all planning a war against us. With Issac and his Night-creatures in Styria and Belmont with that Witch procreating-"

"And Dracula's son as practically step-father, " Morana added.

Striga nodded. "We're nothing but a fixed platter for them. Unless we act now."

Morana turned to the guard. "I want you to take a few more soldiers with you, scan the place and report back what you find. If you encounter Issac, make sure you leave him a message," she ordered.

As he left, Striga straightened herself, not bothering to look over at Morana. "Will you join me to War my Queen?"

Morana grinned and looked down the aisle, where their army stood, and out towards the open doors of the Cathedral which showed their long journey ahead. "To War and Beyond my love," she answered.

If Isayama was rushing to the end he could have rushed to avoid Hanjis death instead of calculating situations to create a scenario to kill her.

Oh anonie, my thoughts about this are all over the place, imma try to sort them out for you, so bear with me ❤️

First of all, I actually have 2 theories regarding Hanjo, which I believe Yams just dropped and glossed over. I can't decide which one of them is more plausible. So you decide.

My first theory is that Hanjo was ought to have her own little arc. In that specific arc we were supposed to find out more about her past, that's the reason she was the only main character left without a background. It was meant to be important to the plot. My guess is: Hange's arc should have been the "titan scientists arc" hence all the statements of Yelena, Pieck, etc. about Hange "knowing more about titans than the titan scientists in Marley". I've also realized they deleted every scene in the anime where they were talking about these scientists and tbh this only proofs the point this was indeed supposed to be an important part of the plot but Yams gave up on his initial idea (don't get me even started talking about the serum injections of the volunteers that were shown to us plenty of times but Yams never made use of that AND FOR WHAT?). Furthermore I believe Hanjo would have died in her arc, but Yams skipped the entire arc, so she had to die a rather pointless, unnecessary and rushed death in the end (the latter is actually not an opinion, but a fact, prove me wrong, her death was unnecessary af).

Now here's the second theory, which I actually prefer, because I'm a biased Levihan trash lmao but hey, this is not random and out of the blue, we got all the hints, so lemme explain: Hange and Levi should have ended up together (platonic or romantic, take it as you wish, but don't deny the fact they're BFFs/soulmates), therefore I'm sure Hange was supposed to inherit the beast titan. Okay so I won't go that far to point out all the hints we got from Yams for the "Hange beast titan theory" to come true (there are already plenty of posts and videos about it, lemme know if you want me to send you some links, I'll gladly do that. Also check out the tags here on Tumblr). As I was saying, leaving all the hints aside, the way Zeke died without us knowing what happened to his titan and Falco turning into a birb titan all of a fucking sudden are major plot holes and don't make sense to me at all (let's still keep our fingers crossed Yams won't gloss over these plot armors and explain them properly in the last chapter🤞🏻). So that kinda proofs the point that something is indeed missing.

Sometimes I feel like, if Yams really is riding the train of "there's no space for people over 30 in my story and Levi's only alive cause he's a fan favorite", he wouldn't have let Hange live for that long. He wouldn't have revived her in the serum bowl arc. So what exactly was the point? Was she only supposed to be the bridge commander between Erwin and Armin? Or is there more to it? Imo if Yams kept her alive for that long, she was meant to survive alongside Levi and the alliance (at least a part of it tho I don't think Jean, Connie and Gabi are done for, they'll surely return to human beings and live happily ever after lol). And as a result of this, it would have been the most normal and common thing in the world for Hange and Levi to "end up together" and spend the rest of their lives together in the woods after surviving this war and retiring later on.

So why didn't Yams draw it as initially planned? Cause *inhales* HE'S AFRAID OF THE FUCKING BACKLASH! There you go, I said what I said and I'm not taking it back. For the fandom living together means being romantically involved, ergo declaring a pair as canon and these morons fans aren't having it. They would've sent death threats to Yams' address or God knows what 🤦🏻‍♀️ "So what to do now?" Yams probably thought as he carelessly decided to remove his best written character, thinking he probably killed 2 birds with one stone, cause we were not supposed to find out he skipped at least one entire arc and that he actually kneeled down to the salty antis... But hey Yams, guess what? WE FUCKING NOTICED AND WE AIN'T HAVING NONE OF YO' SHIT ANYMORE.

TL;DR so basically what I was trying to say is: Yams either planned to kill Hange off "properly" after her little arc finished or he wanted her to live on with Levi as the last vets alive BUT HE FUCKING CHANGED HIS FUCKING MIND FOR GOD KNOWS WHAT FUCKING REASONS AND HE'S STRAIGHT UP RUSHING THE ENTIRE FUCKING FINAL ARC WITH SO MANY FUCKING PLOT HOLES WHICH IS ABSOLUTELY NOT HIS FUCKING STYLE AND I'M FUCKING STRESSED OUT lmfao
