The metal around his body was given life by the syrum and it swiftly consumed multiple parts of its host.

Head

Mechanical Vines: His mask ripped as the wires grew over his face and in his mouth.

Body

Asphyxiation Wires: The metal grew and entangled itself around his body squeezing the breath out of him.

Weapon

Leaking Salvage: The endo salvage was twisted and deformed by the serum, they'd feel the pustula just as he had.

I was a bit busy so I couldn't finish it in time for Halloween, but I managed to get it done today.

something messed up about the acknowledgement that even adult animals play (and it's good for them), but play is discouraged of adult humans

part of this, I think, is the idea that if you are playing, you are shirking your responsibilities. and sure, humans can fall into the bad habit of using play as escapism and at the end of the day keeping food on the table/taking care of family, etc. should take priority

but if there's a mental health aspect to play in animals, why do we ignore those benefits for humans?

#yeah yeah we have board games and videos games but that's not what I'm talking about #I mean like #if you go back to my animals comparison there's a lot of physical play #and yes we have sports but fewer and fewer people are willing to participate in a sporting activity #the public education system has sucked the joy out of physical activity #so it's not attractive for a lot of people #and if you look at children there's a lot of imaginative play that adults just don't do #dungeons and dragons is helping to rekindle that #otherwise it's restricted to independant creative hobbies #anyway I was watching the birds with my cat #and by the way they're zipping between the trees in the rain I think they might be playing lol #that's what inspired this post lmao
