The protests at Emory university in Atlanta have been met with the most violent police brutality by far. Students have been tased, tear gassed shot with rubber bullets and THEY WILL NOT STOP because they are courageous Beings with a heart to match and the common people will not accept anything less than a Free Palestine 馃檹馃崏

Nothing like hearing how my mom and grandma are at a university assisting college students who got tased by cops because they were protesting for Israel to stop committing genocide.
That was the first thing I heard when I got home-
What the hell happened to first amendment rights? Because all I see now is that the freedom of protest and the freedom of speech doesn't apply when people speak out against genocide.
I live in such a hypocritical country, good lord.

If somehow you haven鈥檛 seen by now, while the Super Bowl is being aired, Israel is striking Rafah.
The people of Palestine had been told to go there, they were promised it was safe.
And while this is happening, even though earlier several tags on Palestine were trending, only one or two are now.
I haven鈥檛 written any posts personally on Palestine myself. I didn鈥檛 feel I had anything to add here aside from reblogging and boosting whatever I can but please. We can鈥檛 forget Palestine or its people especially now.
This has gone on too long and gone much much too far MANY times and now is when we need to push harder.
Many of the heads of Western countries are either beating around the bush and wasting time, or outright denying the things the Palestinian people don鈥檛 have the privilege to ignore. They don鈥檛 have the choice to look away from their pain, or the pain of friends, family, neighbors, their country. And even through all of this they鈥檙e still trying their damn hardest just to live. And we all need to listen.
So now, especially if you live in a western country like I do, now we step it up a notch. Now is the time if you haven鈥檛 already to read up on Palestinian history. Listen to what the people of Palestine are saying. Hold firm on the boycott like never before. Any and every way you can donate, do it. eSIMs, aid, anything that will reach. Save as much evidence as you can. Videos, articles. Don鈥檛 let Zionists pretend all of this never happened.
Even if you think there鈥檚 nothing you can do, I鈥檓 telling you, keep going. Even if you feel you can only give a little, if we all give a little together it becomes much more.
Hit imperialism where it hurts. In the wallet. Follow the BDS instructions, find protests in your area if you can, boost as much information about Palestine as you can find, call your reps, and do not lose hope. The people of Palestine are not dead. They are holding on even through all this and we all owe it to them to do the same.
A Free Palestine will happen in our lifetimes. But it will be hard fought. So go out there and fight hard! The governments can鈥檛 hide from their own people forever. The companies can鈥檛 bleed cash forever. The people will win. So push until we do. Do not look away. Free Palestine

"what does international law mean for Palestinian children in Gaza today? It has protected neither them nor their parents. It has not protected their families or communities, it has not protected their lives or limbs, it has not protected their hopes or homes. We are a proud and resilient people that has endured more than its share of agony.
It is so painful to be Palestinian today. "
Today at the international court of justice hearing on Israel's occupation of Palestinian territories, Riyad Mansour, the Palestinian ambassador to the UN, held back tears as he appealed to the judges to uphold international law in the Palestinian territories and help secure a two-state solution 'in which the two-states live side by side in peace and security'.

Are you a student who is unable to donate to Palestine, but still want ways to show your support?
Me too! Unfortunately, searching up ways for students who can't drive, spend money, or drop school for a week to show solidarity for Palestine just comes up with "centrist" (if not blatantly pro-israel) articles for teachers telling them how to stay neutral during discussions with students. So! Here are some ways that I've thought of to bring pro palestine sentiment into your school and community! You are more than encouraged to add on any ideas of your own!
Wear shirts, pins, or anything outwardly pro palestine. If you can't find something, make it.
Email your representatives. Email Congress. Email the White House, or whatever your country's equivalent would be. Let the people in charge know you want a ceasefire
Talk to your local library about holding an educational night about the genocide, and/or about Palestinian culture.
Talk to your peers. Find people who share your views. Create a fuss together.
Talk to your teachers about it. Having an authority figure on your side could make things so much easier for you.
Make stickers, posters, pamphlets, etc to put up around your school, town/city, anywhere you can.
Educate yourself on anti-palestine talking points and how to refute them in a calm and logical manner. (Palestinian Toolkit is a great website for that)
Speak up! It's fucking scary, but if you can, don't let people's bigotry go unchecked. (You can use knowledge from the last point to make it easier to talk)
But also, know when to give up. It sucks, but not everyone is worth wasting your time debating. Some people won't change their mind no matter what.

Just a small reminder
Do not stop talking about Palestine
Do not stop boycotting, do not stop protesting, do not stop speaking out. Be the voice for those who had their autonomy stripped away. Be the voice for the people, the parents, the grandparents, the children, the infants. Be the voice for the animals, the trees, the buildings, the very soil that has been desecrated. Stand up for what is right in whatever little way is possible, but do not stop talking about Palestine.
DO NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT PALESTINE
DO NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT PALESTINE
DO NOT STOP TALKING ABOUT PALESTINE

It's hypocritical of Zionists to accuse Palestine supporters of antisemitism when I have LITERALLY SEEN more antisemitism from Zionists compared to Palestine supporters.
Zionists: Being against Zionism is antisemitism! You're denying the Jews the rights to their homeland!
Anti-Zionist Jews: The genocide of Palestinians isn't okay, and Zionism is causing the genocide of Palestinians.
Zionists: GRRRRR YOU AREN'T A REAL JEW! YOU'RE A NAZI IN DISGUISE! 馃槨馃槨馃槨
The amount of times I seen Zionists tell anti-Zionist Jews that they aren't actually Jewish is insane, this applies to online and IRL.
Just yesterday someone said to my friend that they're a "Self-hating Jew". (What???)
Apparently being against genocide and colonialism means that person isn't actually a part of that religion now. 馃檮
Zionists claim that they support Jews, that is, until they don't support Zionism, then they (Zionists) go to scream at them about how they aren't actually Jewish and use the most antisemitic language known to man. 馃う
So tell me, who are the real hypocrites here? The Zionists, or the anti-Zionist Jews?

In almost a week of relentless violence, Palestinian authorities had already recorded 20 families completely wiped out from civil registry, meaning all living members of that family, of all generations, had been killed. It has been three months, and this number only grows. This, along with many of the war crimes Israel commits daily against Palestinians, is a form of genocide.
To kill entire families is to kill their stories, it is to burn a page of a people's history, their roots. It's deliberate.
"As the number of victims rises and more and more families disappear from Palestine鈥檚 rich tapestry of history and culture, there is a bewildered note to the mourning as people try to come to grips with what these disappearances mean."
- Mohammed R. Marwish, October 13th, 2023, Al-Jazeera
