Just met some very kind people selling homemade nachos on the street to try and make their rent, right next to a megachurch advertising laser tag, an indoor pool, and concerts for its members.

Feeling particularly bad about this country today.

The fact that I can say right now that:

There is a Palestinian genocide occurring and nobody gives a flying fuck,

America is rearing its ass up and is on like the 9th stage of a transgender and possibly entire queer genocide,

People who have abortions in some states can face a death penalty,

And queer people, mainly drag kings/queens, are getting the death penalty for 'child sex crimes' just for being in public,

Just absolutely makes me lose complete faith in the fucking world. Especially considering I named only about 5% of the problems occurring right now. There is so much more..

Been thinking about maybe living in a different country someday. I asked for my parents advice for how to move out of the United States safely and cheaply. They said that I should join the military. Bruh, I gotta sign a contract to potentially kill and be killed for the USA to leave the USA? Imma just wait til I got more money.

(I know a lot of places are less safe than America, but we all know it ain't all it's cracked up to be, to put it lightly.)
