u can find all the info i've shared on my mc ocs here, king thorn i should really rework a little because i love zem but ze just do not really have a good fleshed-out character or any good refs/drawings since i made them like months ago and my art has improved drastically.

MY SILLIEST LITTLE GUYS THOUGH MY WEIRD LITTLE BUGS ARE MY FABLEWILDS OCS <333 i should REALLY get around to making good refs of them. but u can find them all at #oc [name]. theres zephyr who ive probably drawn the Most because bug's been around the longest. aeolus & notos who each have two designs but theyre both canon because I Said So. sundew and lupine whose designs are honestly probably my favorites to draw. and then boreas and deimos who i NEED to talk more about. but i think ive posted a LOT more abt them in the meowdy & not so much here mostly because my friends love them and i never really get anyone askin about them whose not a meowdy member anyways. so since you asked.

xe are very sillay xe are based on a crow. xe are the dragon of Life which means xe're also the dragon of Death because those two things are interconnected. she's meant to have lots of pouches on her belts. also a big fluffy neck ruff thing and a cape made of big feathers. xyr earrings are: acorn & beetle on ears, flower & leaf on horns. but i do like the idea of changing out the flower for a skull of some sort

BONUS SUNDEW DRAWING!! bee has two tails and big goggles to scream Dragonfly at you and also chest armor not to protect zip really but to add to the Dragonfly effect. it has a shawl thingy that looks like dragonfly wings

another boreas, her design's not changed much at all. very geometric!! very shapes!! her wings are mechanical btw. because i thought it would be fun.

ao's Sun design (her redesign was quite recent. i like her new design better because its more coherent sksksks but i only have a few drawings of that; they're in his tag)

both of nox's designs side by side!! his Fire design kinda mirror's Ao's Sun design and its very flame-y. His stars design is a lot more childish & spacelike!! Fits his character a lot better. But doesn't match Ao as well.

Notos's stars form is meant to look a lot more childish. His clothes would have a very PJ vibe to them

Zephyr's outfit would be very leather-y! Its right leg (the one that isn't scales) is meant to be various patches of leather sewn together, and its jacket would be leather I think. Very much bard inspired!!

Lupine's outfit was inspired by the Onceler and has not changed since I designed him. I love her.

WANTED DYNAMICS WISHLIST ( WITH BONUS PLOT IDEAS! )

this is not a complete list and includes all types of dynamics! if you’re interested in any of these dynamics between alice and your muse feel free to message me, or reply to this post so i can message you! this is mutuals only however, if we’re not mutuals and you see something you like send me an ask and maybe we can become mutuals!

because i know it’ll come up, i generally play alice as either 22-23 pre endgame or from 24-28 during the blip and after endgame

everything is under the cut cause this post is LONG ! if you’d like to plot and nothing here strikes your fancy, perhaps consider my plotting call here!

GENERAL DYNAMICS I’D LOVE FOR ALICE !

– PEOPLE FROM BEFORE SHE JOINED SHIELD : alice grew up on the streets of brooklyn and lived there for seventeen years. she was a bit of a criminal as well, so there’s definitely potential there! she was recruited by SHIELD in 2012 after the attack on new york, so there weren’t as many vigilantes before then, but i’m sure we could come up with something! they could be allies, friends or even enemies. alternatively, maybe they’re people alice knows through her older sister who still lives in brooklyn and doesn’t know/didn’t know alice is an agent.

– CONTACTS FOR ALICE OUTSIDE SHIELD THAT SHE CAN UTILIZE AS AN AGENT : people that alice owes a favor to or that owe alice a favor. maybe people that alice worked with in the past and could come to again (they could even be people she met during her stint as vigilante)

– honestly give her FRIENDS OUTSIDE OF WORK, she needs people outside of SHIELD to spend time with.

– LET ALICE RECRUIT/TRY TO RECRUIT YOUR MUSE, either to SHIELD itself or just to her task force. i just think it would be neat. (this could be in her main verse, or the verse where she becomes director of SHIELD.)

CHARACTER SPECIFIC DYNAMICS !

– BUCKY BARNES : i will never not love the idea that alice is a thorn in bucky’s side that he just can’t get rid of, but maybe loves anyway. i think the culture shock between bucky’s generation and alice being a millenial/gen-z cusper could be absolutely fucking hilarious. she would be endlessly confusing to him, and probably extremely annoying, but i don’t think he’d try hard to get rid of her. especially if we’re following FATWS canon.

– SAM WILSON : in a similar vein to the dynamic, i imagine alice would also lovingly annoy sam. she looks up to him a lot and thinks he’s a badass, but that doesn’t mean that she’s not going to rib him a little. i can imagine that there’s a sort of interesting dynamic between them because they’d respect each other, but i’m sure sam probably thinks alice has a little too much authority for someone he kind of still sees as a kid despite the fact that she’s only ten years younger than him.

– SAM WILSON AND BUCKY BARNES : they get a combined section, because the dynamic between the three of them would be ✨ chaotic ✨ all the stuff i mentioned earlier applies, but now bucky and sam get to deal with alice at the same time. i think she’d be really helpful to them, but also a nuisance (affectionate). i think alice would remind both of them a lot of steve just a little too much.

– BOBBI MORSE : i need you to understand, alice adores bobbi, no matter the version. she think’s she’s so cool. i don’t know much about comic! bobbi so i will be referring directly to aos! bobbi, but i’m happy to adjust this to comic! bobbi!

i can see alice seeing bobbi as her work mom. i think alice would trust her so much. and maybe bobbi would mentor alice? i can tell you alice would love that for sure. she’d feel comfortable coming to bobbi for help, trust her on missions ect. after ward betrayed the team, alice would really struggle with trusting people and she’d need someone who understood her.

– LANCE HUNTER : oh please please give me alice and hunter as a chaotic dad figure/daughter figure dynamic. i do not feel i need to say more but i will. team ups in team vs team prank wars. hunter worrying about alice when she’s on a mission. alice knowing she doesn’t need to worry about hunter but still worrying about him. same thing applies as with bobbi, after ward alice really struggles to let herself trust people and i think hunter would be able to worm his way into her heart.

– FRANK CASTLE : frank killed alice’s dad. there is nothing not hilarious about alice and frank having any dynamic at all. alice mourned her father, but she was never angry at frank/the punisher for doing what he did. her father deserved it in her eyes. i would love to explore the dynamic between them because it could be SO interesting because she’s the daughter of one of his victims, which might humanize her and connor (her father), but she’s also a SHIELD agent turned vigilante which i don’t think frank would agree with entirely. especially, since alice was inspired by him.

– YELENA BELOVA : *chanting* besties besties besties ! i think they’d come across each other after the blip, but i think maybe alice would have heard about yelena a bit from natasha. perhaps yelena would understand why alice became a vigilante more than anyone else (beside maybe frank castle). i can see a lot of fun in alice and yelena’s potential dynamic including but not limited to:

- roommates

- frenemies

- vigilante team up

- dog walking buddies

- queer platonic partners

– KATE BISHOP : *more chanting* besties besties besties! name a more chaotic potential duo, i’ll wait. i think alice and kate would feed off each other’s energy so well. potentially even too well. they’d encourage each other to make dumbass decisions, walk their dogs together and just generally be great friends.

hypothetically speaking, there is potential for them to be ✨ girlfriends ✨ but they do have a 5 year age gap so it depends on what the mun is comfortable with ect.

– MAYA LOPEZ : *even more chanting* besties besties besties! these two know a little bit about vengeance and i think they’d find commonality in that. they know what it’s like to lose someone they care about most in the world. i think they’d start out rocky, but could become close friends if given enough time and care. i could once again see alice and maya potentially becoming more than friends.

– MATT MURDOCK : okay so there’s a lot coming here! first of all, common ground, they were both raised catholic (though alice is no longer practicing), they’re both irish, they both become vigilantes. i love the idea that they might be on friendly terms as matt and alice (unsure on how they meet though) and allies/adversaries as daredevil and argent angel (wow look they both got biblical references in their names hmmm). i say both allies and adversaries because i think daredevil and argent angel would be on the same page ideology wise until alice decided to go down the punisher route and started taking down with people she believed deserved it after the snap happened.

i will and have to unapologetically say i am the captain of the matt murdock/alice gallagher ship boat. i am introducing that here as a possible dynamic but i will look nuts if i go into too many ideas here.

– JOAQUIN TORRES : *chanting again* besties besties besties ! i could see alice and joaquin linking up pre/during TFATWS to help track down the flagsmashers and other terrorist organizations that popped up during the blip. i could see them working together, but deciding to stay friends or even be more than friends afterwards.

– THE MAXIMOFF TWINS : (note i will not interact with eIizabeth oIsen/atj fc/whitewashed maximoffs) alice and the maximoff twins are extremely close in age. they’re some of the only mcu canon characters within alice’s age range. given that, i think there’s a lot of potential for alice to be friends with both twins. honestly, she goes out of her way to do so.

– WANDA MAXIMOFF : given what i said about alice’s dynamic with both twins in general, i think alice and wanda have a lot of potential to be friends or even more. alice does whatever she can to make wanda feel welcomed in SHIELD but i think they’d bond the most during civil war when they’re both on the run with steve.

given how alice reacted to losing her sister and the majority of her close friends in the blip, alice wouldn’t be able to completely blame wanda for how she reacted after losing vision. of course, she sees holding a town hostage as wrong, but alice didn’t react well either. she hurt people too. the events of multiverse of madness would drive a wedge between them, despite the fact that alice understood where wanda was coming from.

– PIETRO MAXIMOFF : pietro and alice are each other’s enablers. i can totally see them just being reckless dumbasses together. they have a lot in common seeing as they grew up without a lot of money and and value their sisters more than anyone else in their lives. meet the bane of SHIELD’s existence, it’s not hydra, it’s two chaotic people who had to grow up too fast.

– MCU/199999! PETER PARKER : alice was assigned to keep an eye on him undercover at midtown, but was pulled out after a couple months. i’ve always thought alice would think of peter as a younger brother figure. she would do anything for him. losing him in the blip is hard on her.

post nwh, i could see them meeting again just off hand around new york. alice wouldn’t remember him, but peter would remember her (cue me violently sobbing). i would love for them to start their friendship over again, maybe alice helps him study for his g.e.d. or something (she’s not as smart as he is, but she had to take her g.e.d. test too so she’s been there)

– MCU/199999! MAY PARKER : once she’s no longer under cover, i think alice would be welcomed in the parker household as a trusted ‘friend of spider-man’ especially with may knowing she was assigned to make sure peter stayed safe. i think alice would introduce may to her sister and they’d just sort of become family friends. (i do not want to acknowledge may’s death because i will cry, but please know alice would attend her funeral)

All the Youkaimatsus so far

JExcept sets that have all of them as the same youkais (Nekomata, Tanuki and the various Kitsune sets from Tabimatsu)

Pinup Poster from the Osomatsu Character Book #6 (July 2016)

A classic. The very first iteration of Youkaimatsu. Kind of hard to find since it was a bonus poster from the character book, so unless you were actively looking for the book, you wouldn’t find this.

Osomatsu - Kitsune (unknown how many tails he has but is often depicted in fan artworks as 6 or 9, 9 meaning strongest/wisest a kitsune has been, Spirit Fox)

Karamatsu - Karasu-Tengu (pun on Kara, Bird Man)

Choromatsu - Dodomeki (usually a woman cursed with long arms littered with many bird eyes because of greed. Most popular one imo)

Ichimatsu + ESP Nyanko - Nekomata (Two-tailed cat, legend says that cats who live longer than a 100 years gain a second tail)

Jyushimatsu - Rokurobi (available in two flavors. Long Neck and Floating Head. He is the former. Theorized to not actually be a youkai but created for entertainment. Also used as a literary device for a wandering soul.)

Todomatsu - Yukki Onna (Also a joke on Todo being scared stiff. Yuki Onna pull tricks on humans that usually end on the person’s death via cold. Has a harsh and soft side)

Youkai Units from The Great Youkai War event from Hesokuri Wars (November 2016)

Most popular Youkaimatsu set, this baby could get milked for miles, but for some reason isn’t. Has a lot of variants (Awakened, Darkness, Snow, Sakura and Hyakki Yagyou) and connected to a lot of other sets: Denki Mystery, Colorless Overalls, Mononoke and a bunch of others. She is the top DOGG set.

Osomatsu - Shuten-Douji (Oni Leader with a penchance for Sake, literally carrying a big ass bottle of it on his back, since he is the leader of the sextuplets and the one seen drinking beer the most)

Karamatsu - Aoandon (Summoned after 100 supernatural stories are told. Originated from the blue (ao) paper lanterns (andon) that were sometimes used to give a chilling atmosphere)

Choromatsu - Daitengu (Great Tengu, Tengus were theorized to be ascended souls, but also has its origins in a Dog Beast that looked like a comet. For some reason Dog Beast turned into Bird Man. The bird man’s beak is often anthropomorphized into long noses. Tells humanity to behave by throwing invisible stones at them)

Ichimatsu - Nine-tailed Kitsune (So wise. So powerful)

Jyushimatsu - Inugami (Dog God that possesses people)

Todomatsu - Bake-Danuki (also known as tanuki, mischievous spirits, mostly known in pop culture for their BIG FAT NUTS)

Dayon is a miko, a shrine maiden. Hatabou is an Onmyoji, an exorcist, Dekapan is a kannushi, a shrine priest. Totoko and Iyami are regular civillians

One of the lesser known sets, considering that it’s just designs for a line of merch but their designs are so good? Why don’t people use these designs more often.

Choromatsu - Shuten-Douji (A possible reference to Season 1 Episode 2 where he gets the most drunk?)

Ichimatsu - Mizuchi (Legendary Water Serpent/Dragon)

Jyushimatsu - Kamaitachi (Beast that rides on dust devils. Cuts people using it’s scythe-like nails. The wounds are sharp but painless)

Todomatsu - Ungaikyou (A haunted mirror that can be used to trap spirits. The spirits in the ungaikyou can manipulate the reflection shown on it’s reflection.)

Kitsune Servant Set from Tabimatsu (September 2017)

Ok I know I said I wouldn’t cover the Kitsune sets from Tabimatsu since there are like 5 different Kitsune sets, but this one is noteworthy cause they have secondary Youkai traits other than the regular kitsune traits.

Shimamatsu was such a good game, what a shame it ended so soon. The 3D models were so cute. Edit: The two designs are from before and after evolution!

Osomatsu - Enma-san (A wrathful god in charge of judging souls in the afterlife. Resides over hell)

Karamatsu - Yamato no Orochi (Eight headed and Eight-tailed serpent/dragon)

Choromatsu - Kamaitachi (wields an actual scythe)

Ichimatsu - Youkai Catman or a Bakaneko (Catboy, furry)

Jyushimatsu - Yobuko (lives in the mountains, repeats whatevers shouted into the mountain, explains the phenomemon of Echos)

Todomatsu - Yuki Otoko (Snowman, a Yuki Onna basically)

“Inn” Osoma and Choroe from Osomatsu Season 2 Episode 17

A BUNCH OF PEOPLE REMINDED ME AND HOW COULD I FORGET THE BEST YOUKAI EVER. Osoma baby,,,, I’m so sorry..... Srsly, this skit was so good, I hope they make more skits like this where they make entirely new characters out of the framework of the sextuplets.

Osoma - A Zashiki-warashi, child spirits who live in store rooms or extra rooms, they died buried in their homes. Pranksters but meeting one is said to bring good fortunes to families. Osoma gets crossovered a lot with the other Youkai sets in JP fanart. A popular pairing is Dodomeki Chorosuke (from Denki Mystery) and Osoma also Kitsune Osomatsu (from the poster) and Osoma.

Choroe - Not necessarily a youkai, in fact in the episode she’s presented as just a regular human. But is theorized often to be a Yama-uba. An old woman banished to the mountains. She provides shelter to weary travelers (in the myth it’s just a humble shelter but you know. an inn is also considered a shelter) before eating them. In one story she eats the recently birthed baby of a woman who had to give birth in the mountains.

Mononoke from Hesokuri Wars (May 2019)

Technically they are all the same type of being, Mononoke, but they look different from each other. Mononoke can posses individuals and cause suffereing and even death. And technically they aren’t Youkais but Onryos, vengeful spirits. But Onryos can also be used to refer to youkais and truthfully I just wanna include this set cause their designs are so cool looking. This set’s attacks contain glimpses of units of other sets.

Edo Rock The Great Youkai Harvest Festival from Tabimatsu (October 2019)

This set is interesting cause rather than youkai alone, they are also musicians. This set also has another set like Hesokuri called The Great Youkai NEET which is basically the awakened versions, properly showcasing more of the youkai traits.

Choromatsu - Mizuchi (actually riding said serpent)

Ichimatsu - Black Kitsune (Hot Topic, Goth version)

Jyushimatsu - Frog. Just. Frog. (could be a reference to the legend of Jiraiya, the ninja who could shapeshift into a frog/ride big frogs. His mouth is cover just like a ninja is too.)

Todomatsu - Kamaitachi (could be a reference to season 1 where Todomatsu wields a scythe)

Iyami - Oni (not sure if he’s any particular oni but he does have the horns and metal club)

Atsushi - Ibaraki-Douji? (White hair and singular horn, most imporant servant of Shuten-Douji)

Karamatsu - I’m not exactly sure but he seems like a Mizuchi, a water serpent/dragon. He also could be another legendary serpent/dragon though.

Jyushimatsu - I’m not sure, at first i thought it might be a crab youkai judging from the legs, but upon closer inspection he has spider webs on his robes, so they may be spider legs instead. Could be a Jorogumo, a youkai that wields fire breathing spiders with it’s spider legs

Todomatsu - Bakaneko (I think? The veil could be the napkin a bakaneko puts on it’s head)

Ayakashi Sextuplet’s Retro Halloween Cafe merch from Web Kuji (October 2020)

Thank you @gradelstuff for telling me about this! Ayakashi are Youkai that appear above nearby bodies of water. Although the youkais they’re dressed up as (or are?) aren’t really what you would call ayakashi? Although it’s cafe themed, it isn’t actually from a cafe collaboration. These designs are merchandise meant to be won through lottery. So if say you really love Kara and Choro’s designs (I do), then tough luck buddy!

Osomatsu - Oni

Karamatsu - Now you may think he’s Dodomeki since he’s covered with eyes, but turns out there are two other eye-relateed youkai! Mokumokuren is a youkai phenomenon where eyes appear from torn paper walls and tatami floors, initially i thought this was it given the checkered pattern he was wearing. But he might actually be a Hyakume, a youkai covered head to toe in yellow eyes specifically. Underneath those eyes is a body of flesh roughly in the shape of a man. This Youkai isn’t particularly malicious, only detaching one of it’s many eyes to follow you and survey you for criminal activiy. He might also be a BackBeard, a youkai allegedly from the US, err that would make him a cryptid I guess? A Backbeard is often characterized as a shadow with a Yellow eye with a red iris in the center. Note: Backbeard’s true origins are not known as there doesn’t seem to be any cryprid called a Backbeard, it first entered the Japanese public eye as an antogonist in the show Gegege no Kitaro. Although ever since then this “yokai” has appeared in other media and games in Japan.

Choromatsu - He isn’t exactly dressed as it (only themed as it) but the youkai he represents is the one he’s holding, a Kasa-obake, One of my favorite youkais and it’s literally iconic. Thought to be a Tsukomogami, an object that gains a spirit after it turns 100 years old.

Ichimatsu - Edit: I’m not sure but he might be a Kuchisake-Onna. In the description attached to his teaser, it makes mention of specifically his wide smile, his dos dagger and his beautiful shirt. A kuchisake onna is a yokai that wanders in the street covering her face with a mask (skull mask for ichi) and a sharp object (his dos dagger). TW GORE DESCRIPTION: She asks you if you think she’s attractive and depending on your answer she muders you with her scissors, plunging it into you OR she takes off her mask showing her wide smile, her mouth slit at the corners to her ears and asks “how about now?” and depending on your reaction she cuts you in half with her sharp object OR she slits the corners of your mouth to look like hers. END DESCRIPTION. Ichi has the mask, sharp object, wide smile and “attractiveness”. Obviously it would be inappropriate to portray ichi in the same fashion as the kuchisake onna so he was probably given the internal organ tattoos to represent the gory yokai. (internal organs usually = gore in japan). This is speculah and he might be another youkai but this is all i can think of rn.

Jyushimatsu - sailor themed Jiangshi. Jiangshi are basically Zombies originally from Chinese culture. They hop around, and crave for life force. this little jyushimatsu has taken to tomato juice instead. (Bonus: the zombie that osomatsu is in the zombie set in hesokuri wars is also a Jiangshi)

Todomatsu - Kitsune (sly fox)

“The Night Path” Youkai from Osomatsu-san Season 3 Episode 6 (November 2020)

The latest and what sparked me to make this post tbh. This set reuses the Rokurobi design from the very first Youkaimatsu iteration! Full circle yo! I like to think of this set as an addition to the original youkaimatsu, since they’re both from the primary sources.

Jyushimatsu - Rokurobi (Again)

Totoko - Amabie (mermaid with three legs? prophesized about either good harvest or an epidemic, trivia: “Amabie” trended when Covid 19 hit the world)

Hatabou - Azukiarai (a youkai that originated from the sound of something like beans being washed near a river, anyone who comes near will fall into the river)

Dayon - Nopperabou (Faceless spirits that take the form of humans. They are harmless usually, they just scare humans)

Dekapan - Kappa (Mischievous River spirits)

That should be all of them!

A/n:

It gets pretty angsty so hold on.

Also know in this Fic, Bones doesn’t know the details about Tarsus IV that info is extremely classified and really, only select people know about it. So it’s really been swept under the carpet in this particular fic.

Spock heads down the hallway and to Jim’s quarters. Buzzing in as he always does.

....

No response.

So he tried again.

...

No response.

Now things were getting a little concerning. So when he buzzed for a third time and got no response he types in the override code for Jim’s quarters. Absolutely worried sick, and he realized standing there that...

Spock can’t feel their bond.

That prospect alone sends his heart racing even faster than his normal resting heart rate. Yet he swallows his panic as the doors open with their familiar squeak and he’s engulfed into a warm dark room. The doors squeak again as they closed behind him.

“Jim? My Jim, where are you? Are you alright?”

The worry while he can control it physically, slips into his tone. Eyes already adjusting for the darkness of the room, a small tribute to his Vulcan biology. His eyes adjust much quicker than a humans does.

“Go away Spock.”

Came the sharpest reply the Vulcan’s almost positive he’s ever heard. While the words themselves were not super harmful, the tone punctured.

On the bed was a small heep of blankets, he can only assume that huddled in all of those blankets was his Husband. He allows himself to frown and his brows to furrow. Jim never wanted him to leave whenever he was upset, always wanting him to hold close and not let go. So something, although going through his eidetic memory he doesn’t see anything.

“Jim, My-“

“I said Go. Away. Commander. Consider it an order from your Captain.”

Something was really wrong then. Yet he would not leave Jim’s side. Whatever it was, he had made a vow until death did they part. He wasn’t leaving.

“Then you will need to fill out the insubordination paperwork shortly.”

He sees the blankets move, and he can only assume he is being looked at.

“I am not leaving K’diwa. I am your bond mate, and I am worried about you. You did not answer your door, I cannot feel our bond, and your tone is enough evidence that there is something bothering you. I vowed to care for you and I intend to get to the bottom of it, so if that means facing insubordination charges then I will.”

More ruffling of sheets and blankets, and now he can see his bond mate. The dark brown hair, and make out his eyes in the darkness. Hand reached out towards him, and the pain is so sharp at the horrible broken voice his beloved uses. Their bond floods open and he can feel all of the jagged edges of self hatred attacking Jim’s mind.

“S-Sp-ock-”

His feet move on their own and in moments flat Spock had Jim in his lap still wrapped in a couple of blankets but held firmly. He sobs begging apologies from his lips and promises to never leave him. Every broken sound that leaves him makes the Vulcan’s heart ache, and wanting to tear apart whoever caused these precious tears to spill.

He assures Jim that he did no wrong, that he did not feel any hurt emotions at his words. That there was nothing there other than his overwhelming concern for the person he values the most. That he will always be there. Always.

He sends all of the pure intense love he feel for the brunette in his lap and reassurance through their bond to Jim. Using their physical proximity as an easy way to tap into his beloved’s head in gentle attempts to soothe the hurt he can feel. Whatever caused this got him good, where it hurt.

Eventually he calmed and Spock whispers gently resting his forehead against his human’s,

“K’diwa, My James, will you tell me now what is wrong?”

... There’s hesitation showing in those hazel eyes staring up at him,

“I promise you, no matter what you say, I will listen to every word.”

...

“Is there a problem with how I eat, Spock?”

What? That was such an odd question. Yet with those hazel eyes hanging onto his every moment for his reply he placed a gentle kiss to his forehead and answered,

“I have never seen it vary from normal that would produce the need for comment or medical intervention.”

...

“Do I hoard food, Spock?”

Spock instead of answering taps into their bond and catches just the thought of one event.

Tarsus IV

“Ha’su, does this have to do with Tarsus IV?”

He asks and Jim looks away ashamed- he knows he’s ashamed because he can’t hide it this close to Spock. Yet using one hand he guides his beautiful hazel gaze back to his own.

“My K’diwa, Tarsus IV is an indescribable horror you had to face at such a young age. I know you have tried your best to heal some of those wounds. I know this trauma will haunt you for the rest of your life, and it will always affect how you eat. A famine and genocide. Yes, I do notice you have a few non-perishable items around your quarters. However, I simply attributed them to the fact Humans need to eat more frequently.”

He runs a hand through those brown locks he loves so, so very much. He watches as those lips, a little swollen from his cries open,

“When food became such a struggle and for so long...I-I just—”

“Shh. You need not explain yourself to me. Your trauma and struggle with food is not invalid. It will never ever. Ever. Be invalid.”

This brings back a smaller wave of tears as his husbands arms wrapped around his neck rather then around his middle as they were originally.

“Did someone bring this up?”

“Yes.”

“Who?”

“Bones. Though he didn’t bring Tarsus itself up, he just made a comment on my eating habits and it well...Lead to an argument. He doesn’t know the full story though. I just haven’t told him yet because I haven’t been ready to. He only knows what my records say. Which isn’t much because the federation wanted to keep it hush hush.”

Spock nodded. So he would have to make a trip to Medbay and have an informative discussion with Dr. McCoy.

“Please don’t be mad at Him. He doesn’t know,”

“I am not mad because he did not know. However, I will be having a conversation with him if you are amenable to that to inform him of it so you will not have to.”

He feels a gentle nod at his words. Agreeing with him

‘I love you, and thank you for not leaving me alone and being willing to talk to Bones for me.’

‘I love you too, my Jim. I am absolutely smitten for thee, and I wish you to never forget that. Sleep now,’

‘I won’t, I promise I will never forget...’

Sleep the brunette does. It’s almost mere moments and he feels their bond gently going dormant. It’s still several moments before he gently rests his husband down and goes to speak with McCoy.

“Oh my god,”

Leonard’s hand his over his mouth. He was sitting at his desk as Spock had advised him to do so. Shock and guilt coated over himself.

“I didn’t know, I swear-”

“He informed me of such. I am not mad Dr. McCoy. I simply wished for you to understand.”

“I need to go apologize-”

“He is resting, however I am willing to let you know when he wakes.”

“Yes. Right. Thank you, Spock. I promise, I never would of said anything if I’d known. The only thing in his files says is he’s a Tarsus IV survivor. Nothing more. I never even knew what it was until now.”

“I understand Dr. McCoy.”

And he does.

“I will leave you to process this, and to go attend to Jim when he wakes.”

Leonard nodded as Spock exited.

Spock was holding Jim as he yawns and those Hazel eyes open. He doesn’t say anything but he can feel the gentle buzz in his head from seeing that his husband was still here just as he promised he would be.

“Commander Spock to Medbay,”

“Medbay here, What is it?”

“The Captain is awake if you wish to see him,”

“Alright. Be up in 15 minutes.”

“Noted. Spock out,”

The transmission was cut.

His partner seemed confused, so Spock relayed the message.

“He wishes to apologize directly, and I said I would inform him of your awakening.”

A simple nod comes from Jim.

...

It was actually less than 15 minutes when Bones shows up. Normally Leonard would say something to get them apart, but given what happened he isn’t going to say a thing about Spock holding Jim.

“Jim?”

The brunette’s head turns to look at his best friend.

“Hey, I wanted to apologize for what I said.”

He sits down on the edge of the bed. Spock watches as those hazel eyes follow him.

“Jim, god. I never, I never would have said any- any of that if I had known. I promise you. I had no idea what sort of demon you deal with every time you go to eat in your head.”

“It’s alright-”

“It’s not though Jim. I shouldn’t have said those things in-”

“Leonard.”

The doctors name makes him fall quiet.

“Leonard, You didn’t know. I hadn’t told you...Yet now that you know, could we schedule an appointment to maybe..do something about it?”

“Maybe try some anti-anxiety medications?”

Jim nodded.

“You got it kiddo. Whenever you’re ready you just let me know alright?”

“Alright.”

Bones gives a nod to Spock who had been silent for this whole time. He knows that means to gently and lovingly encourage him to do so in the near future. He leaves but not before Jim surprised them both by pulling the doctor into a hug. They held on for just a few moments and even Spock could tell the world was alright once more. The doctor then left, and Spock went back to holding his partner. Humming as he gently guided him back to sleep, and shortly drifted off after.

19! I have another one shot that may make this an even 20, but it’s currently half written!

2. What’s your total Ao3 word count?

257,652 which I think is not too bad for just over a year!

3. How many fandoms have you written for and what are they?

Three? On Ao3 anyway but all my docs are Agents of Shield or Agent Carter with one MCU crossover with both!

Yes! I try and reply to every single one as they make me so happy, even older fics! I love when people point out references I’ve made or ask questions.

I don’t really write with angsty endings! Everything tends to be very fluff, happy endings over here!

7. Do you write crossovers? If so, what is the craziest one you’ve written?

I’ve got my alternate timeline fics but that is just AoS and Agent Carter. One of my fics has a small mcu crossover as a small attempt to quell my post-endgame issues but is quite simple in reality! Here.

8. Have you ever received hate on a fic?

I have received what I would call “constructive criticism” on a OC’s name (each to their own) and one on my portrayal of a certain character (👀👀👀) but I kind of roll my eyes and get over it 😂

9. Do you write smut? If so what kind?

I don’t because I find it hard enough to describe kisses in a non repetitive way let alone anything else 😂

10. Have you ever had a fic stolen?

Not that I’m aware of! I did briefly think I might in Wattpad but I can’t work that website at all so I gave up trying to look 😂

11. Have you ever had a fic translated?

I haven’t but that would be so cool

12. Have you ever co-written a fic before?

I haven’t, and I honestly think I would over think that so much and I don’t think my writing is good enough for that!

13. What is your all time favourite ship?

Writing wise! I love writing Daisy and Sousa as I think the fact we only had their relationship build for a few episodes left two of my favourite character open for a lot of interpretation. But also like Peggy and Sousa lives rent free in my mind. None writing its Castle and Beckett, as I have a real soft spot for them as that’s what introduced me to fandom culture!

14. What’s a WIP that you want to finish but don’t think you ever will?

My Peggysous fic 😅 no I will, eventually. I’ve got it 90% planned but then I get distracted and write a fluffy one shot instead 😂 also the fact that the agent Carter fandom is a little quieter means I struggle with motivation sometimes!

15. What are your writing strengths?

Fluff I think? Chuck a few feelings in there as well

16. What are your writing weaknesses?

Describing smiles and kisses. I’m so repetitive. I also get ridiculously bogged down in details and dates that don’t matter, such as birthdays of the whole shield gang and working out their actual ages after time travel.

17. What are your thoughts on writing dialogue in other languages in a fic?

I love doing this, but am also very aware that I don’t speak another language and I don’t want to get it wrong or offend anyone!

18. What was the first fandom you wrote for?

Agents of Shield. Big surprise to everyone 😂

19. What’s your favourite fic you’ve ever written?

I find this so hard! I have a soft spot for my coffee shop AU series Brought Me to You as it’s what I first came up with a week after the finale and have only just finished, but I also love I’ll be Right Here (when you wake up) . One shot wise I really enjoyed writing It’s the Way They Love as it’s just different from what I wrote normally!

So, Episode 7 of Word of Honor, and where to start? No, I’m kidding, I know exactly where I’m starting, which is with some recognition of what a great job this show does of developing 98 percent of its multitude of characters, because the first two things I’m going talk about this week aren’t even Zhou Zishu, Wen Kexing OR Wen Kexing’s thirst (AKA, the three main characters of the show).

Well, I guess I’m really starting with the usual warning – this is a re-watch and so there are SPOILERS here, not only for this episode, but for most of the show. Scroll away and come back later if you’re trying to watch all 36.5 eps unspoiled.

SO, I mean, come on. Of course I’m starting with the Smartest Man in the World, who has finally shown up in this episode, and I’m reminded once again what an actual cinnamon roll, too good for this world, Cao Weining is. He’s maybe the single completely good character we meet – even Chengling wants to burn down somebody’s house at one point because he’s mad. But Cao Weining is almost too good to be true – and yet, there he is! Living his best life, being good, eating good, falling in love, and refusing to let his beautiful, clever, fierce girl’s neuroses come between them. I love him, y’all. And not just because he instantly falls in love with A-Xiang when he happens to see her beat up a bunch of drunk bro assholes in the inn where he’s having a quiet little lunch by himself before she storms into his life like a purple whirlwind. But let’s do think about this from his perspective, yeah? And let’s remember it as we watch the progression of their relationship, as we wait for the revelation we know is coming, and as – many eps down the line – he learns the truth of her. Cao Weining’s first experience of A-Xiang is someone who’s brave and capable, who defies outsized odds to come to the rescue of those in need, who doesn’t allow women and girls to be abused, who expects proper behavior from the representatives of the jianghu, and who is absolutely fearless in demanding just treatment and never even thinks to be intimidated when she faces unfair censure from an authority figure. This is the girl WKX raised, y’all. This is a girl who embodies everything Cao Weining has been taught to believe in as a cultivator. And this is the girl Cao Weining sees every time he looks at A-Xiang. Maybe, just maybe, this is the truth of her, and Cao-dage sees and understands it from the very first time he spots her, and anything else he’ll learn about her is really extraneous. (Hmm. I wonder what other relationship we’ll eventually end up seeing that kind of dynamic in, where someone truly knows you and believes in you, so everything else is unimportant?) Also, Cao Weining tells A-Xiang she’s very beautiful, and how many people do you think have ever told her that before in her life? He asks why he would want to fight and hurt her, and how many people – particularly men, given where she grew up – have ever told her that before? He buys her lunch – twice, because the first round gets cold. Remember a few episodes back, when WKX asked her who the second cutest person in the world was, and she responded that it was someone who would buy her a meal? Well, here he is. For bonus points, it is hilarious how badly WKX responds to Cao Weining’s very existence after ZZS points out the pair of them having a toast at the same inn that WKX and ZZS have stopped in WKX has dogged ZZS’s footsteps into. Poor Cao Weining doesn’t even get the shovel talk – although to be fair, he doesn’t get the full-court Ghost Valley Master press, either, so WKX must have been holding back somewhat – he just gets told to get out, before WKX grabs A-Xiang by the ear and delivers some scathing commentary on her taste in men, like he didn’t immediately fall for some rando who was tits out, drinking himself to death in the gutter.

ANYWAY, from the Smartest Man in the World, we’re going to move to Han Ying, My Beloved, who we see interacting with the Five Lakes Alliance again, this time in the person of Gao Chong, leader of Yueyang Sect and host of the upcoming Heroes Conference, da-ge of the 5LA. I had honestly forgotten we got to see so much of Han Ying this early on. What strikes me here is that this is a guy who I actually could believe is the second-in-command of Tian Chuang at what is it? 21 years old? When he’s doing his job, and ZZS is nowhere around for him to make pining puppy-dog eyes at, he’s focused and determined and a bit forceful and somewhat threatening and, frankly, appropriately arrogant for the job he’s been sent to do. He’s also wearing a cloak with a mini-Collar of Evil. He comes off as, dare I say, a capable leader of an assassin organization and a guy who’s able to do a proxy flex for his boss without looking completely ridiculous - which puts him one up on Duang Pengju, omg that asshole, and also makes me feel a little better about how I want ZZS to wreck him (or I guess, technically, him to wreck ZZS, because I’ve never seen a character (except Marcus Flavius Aquila, THANK YOU for your service, Channing Tatum) who put off such subby service-top vibes. WHY is there not more Han Ying/ZZS on AO3, fandom? I thought better … worse? … better? … of you.) When Gao Chong claims the Glazed Armor is a myth, Han Ying basically calls this older, respected zongzhu a liar and gets up in his face before refusing a dinner invitation and sweeping out in his mini-Collar of Evil with a credible “PAH.” My boy has layers, y’all.

What else? We start out the ep at Luo Mansion, a wedding scene, and I’m struck by how the Ghost Valley colors match traditional wedding colors, here. I’m thinking about how A-Xiang’s wedding dress won’t be red (and I think green was more common during the Tang dynasty?) although all the decorations will be, and I’m thinking about how we have this wedding as a book-end to that wedding, and I’m thinking about how it’s interesting that a girl who was raised in the Ghost Valley and protected by the Department of the Unfaithful meets a man who’s going to be so faithful to her in the same episode as this wedding with/of the dead. Ghoul, who’s one of the attendees from the Ghost Valley, also remarks that the red makes him hungry, so there’s a meat reference to throw into the thematic basket, I guess. (Also, hey. Ghoul is played by the same guy who’s Sun Yongren in Killer & Healer.) Lovelace (ugh) briefly menaces one of the Department handmaidens before Luo Fumeng shows up, and I think she’s Yun Zai or Hong Lu, one of the two maids that A-Xiang rescued from him, although I’m not positive, because her hairstyle is so different and hides a lot of her face, here. So, we’re all attending the “wedding” of Mu Yunge, the apparent fuckboy who got got a couple of episodes ago as bait for Ao Laizi when Changing Ghost got his hands (briefly) on the Danyang Glazed Armor. We did see a brief scene with Yunge in the last ep, when he woke up tied up in bed, being menaced by someone who appeared to be his dead lover – who hanged herself while pregnant with their child – but turned out to be Beauty Ghost using a face-masking technique similar to ZZS’s disguises. In the interim, Ghost Valley has kidnapped 10 cultivators as his wedding party, and – this is the important plot point – that includes Deng Kuan, head disciple of Yueyang Sect. We get to see some of Beauty Ghost’s ruthlessness here, as she carries in the dead woman’s memorial tablet draped in a red cloth – how’s that for some foreshadowing (my f’kn HEART) – to set it down in the “bride’s” place before Yunge is forced to bow three times. (Dead girlfriend was a Mo from Broken Arrow Manor, and I … am not sure if that is significant or not. Is she possibly related to Mo Huaiyang? Does anyone know which sect is associated with Broken Arrow Manor?) Beauty Ghost also kills two of the 10 “guest” cultivators for talking without permission as she explains the next event to them – cage match. Only one of them gets to get out alive. Deng Kuan, the best of them, apparently, pleads with everyone to not let themselves be divided, but we can all guess how this is going to go. I guess maybe he’s the other completely good character we meet, but he sure is a punching bag. He ends up the last man, sort of, standing, as he kills the final other person in self-defense, but not before getting stabbed, and he goes down and is out for the count.

Meanwhile, cut to Zhao Jing and Shen Shen drinking and gossiping at an inn on the way to Yueyang. Shenshen – Shenshen – continues to bemoan Chengling’s uselessness, and also talks about the torture the other Zhang family members underwent just in time for Chengling to overhear in the hallway, so thanks a lot for even more trauma, Shenshen. Zhao Jing is so sad about it all, y’all. He’s just so very very sad, can we just stop talking about it, Shenshen, because you’re making him sad, and he’s just going to let Da-ge figure it all out, OK? Uh-huh.

Fourth plot thread of the episode is ZZS skulking around, following Chengling, trying to convince himself that this kid is safe now that he’s turned himself in to gone to live with the 5LA, even as ZZS spots Tian Chuang spies in the ranks of the Yueyang disciples and among the dumpling vendors on the streets outside. ZZS follows the dumpling vendor, gives him a code phrase and almost gets his head taken off by a Scorpion blade for his trouble, before stabbing Dumpling Man in response. WKX picks this exact moment to wander back into ZZS’s orbit, taking the chance to flirt as Dumpling Man spits up blood and dies in the alleyway, because of course he does. WKX tsks, accuses ZZS of being cruel, and quotes some poetry about fair faces and poisonous hearts, which - like all of his poetry - has a double meaning, because which of them is he really talking about, ZZS or himself? ZZS notes that WKX is openly wearing the (Danyang) Glazed Armor because of course he’s looking for trouble, but WKX loosens his stays and clutches his pearls and replies that he couldn’t possibly be looking for trouble – him? Philanthropist Wen? He’s not a merciless killer like ZZS. Whereupon ZZS finally says out loud what he’s been clearly thinking since he started going on about what an awful person he is in the LAST EPISODE, which is why the hell don’t you stop following me around, then? There’s some more flirting, and WKX continues to follow ZZS around, and ZZS takes note that WKX is obviously flaunting the Glazed Armor out in the open, and then there’s a little sleight of hand when Famous Pickpocket Fan Bu Zhi, oh noes! Steals WKX’s Glazed Armor right off his belt when he isn’t even looking! before WKX continues to follow ZZS around, conveniently into the same inn where Cao Weining and A-Xiang are having lunch. After WKX attempts to chase him away, we discover Cao Weining has had his wallet stolen. WKX deploys his Sadness Eyebrows to convince ZZS to turn over his wallet to pay for Cao Weining’s and A-Xiang’s lunch. ZZS – who does an admirable job of refusing for a bit – finally caves, and WKX orders lunch for everyone, on ZZS. Now all we need is Chengling, because the fam is not complete without Goldbean.

One shot: you’re having a nightmare.

Context:

You are the pilot on the way back from a mission with May (AOS), Sam and Bucky (TFATWS) and Steve is retired as cap but it's before he betrayed Bucky and went back to Peggy. Bucky's mind is strong and sturdy and he trusts himself again. When nightfalls and it's time for you to rest, he sees you struggling in a way he knows too well, he has to help.

On the Quinn jet you, Sam and Bucky are sharing a dorm room, it's big enough for three adults with three separate double beds. You were nervous, you hadn't slept in a room with anyone since the incident and you know that you had nightmares. You just prayed that Sam and Buck were heavy sleepers.

Night falls and May takes over the evening flight as you get ready for bed. You haven't really spoke to Bucky or Sam much but you had just completed a stakeout on Dreykov's daughter together, it was a bust.

"Man, it sucks to know that she's out there, torturing those people" Sam huffs as he sits down harsh on the bed, making the springs squeak.

"We did the best we could, that's all that matters - besides it was only a stakeout anyway. I wasn't anticipating any action" Bucky replies, they're both dressed in loose jogging bottoms and a t shirt, but as Bucky says this sentence he takes his off. Your eyes are trying desperately to find something else to focus on as you walk in the room but you can't take them off his build. Bucky smirks as he catches your eye.

"Stakeouts are hard Sam, even if we had a clear visual on her we couldn't intervene, we would've had to wait for Steve and Tony" you sigh "are the beds comfy?"

"Y/N you're asking two ex military whether these beds are comfy, our idea of coke is probably not the same as yours" Sam laughs

"Right..." you reply embarrassed "sorry I was just trying to make conversation."

You untuck your duvet and get into the bed, Sam and Bucky follow the action.

"Alright, I'm gonna turn in for the night, let me know when it's morning" Sam sighs adjusting in the bed

"I'm going to read my book for a while if that's okay" Bucky reaches over and turns on the lamp next to his bed, which is next to you. "Not too bright for you is it?"

"No, it's fine, I'm gonna hit the hay too anyway I'll be out like a baby soon"

Bucky has been reading his book now for roughly 30 minutes, he was enjoying the silence until he heard you stirring in your sleep. You moan slightly, and start to mumble incoherently.

"Stop... please"

"What... are you.... Doing"

He remembers this feeling.

You start to quietly cry in your sleep, and Bucky cannot stand to listen to your pain any longer.

He feels awkward but he knows what he needed when he was having nightmares, and he's assuming that you are having nightmares too. He's unaware of your past, but if it's haunting you like this, he doesn't want to think about what it might be.

Without a second thought he puts down his book, quietly gets out of his bed and lifts up the duvet to yours. Without trying to disturb you he slides his arm under you and lays with you on his chest, your head beneath his chin.

"Shhh..." he strokes your hair "hey-hey-hey, it's me it's James, you're okay I got you" he runs his fingers slowly down your hair tucking it behind your ear again and again until he feels your movements soften. "It was just a bad dream y/n, you are safe we're on the Quinn jet and we're going back to avengers place."

Your dreams get a lot calmer and you stop having the flashback that caused a stir. And you finally drift off into a deep sleep for what feels like the very first time.

"There better be a totally innocent reason that you guys are not in different beds or am I never sleeping in a room with you again" you stir into consciousness again, an unfamiliar warm feeling under your cheek, as your eyes open you realise that it's someone's chest. And Sam is looking directly at you both. You shoot up very confused.

"What is going on?" You say groggily as you sit up and face him.

Bucky opens his eyes and rubs his neck because he slept on it funny "seems like you were having a nightmare, so I comforted you because I used to have them really badly too." He says as he stands up. "I promise you that is all"

Sam laughs "yeah right Buck, y/n, tell me the truth did you.." he wiggles his eyebrows suggestively

"Sam!" Bucky scorns him

"No I think he's telling the truth Sam, I'm sorry I didn't warn you about my nightmares - I just didn't know how to bring it up" you say, you're too embarrassed to make eye contact with either of them.

"I'm a heavy sleeper so don't worry it didn't disturb me, sorry to hear you're having trouble" Sam says softly.

"Hey" Bucky touches your arm softly "it's okay, they will go away eventually."

"Is that why you stay up and read Buck?" You sigh

"Well I have a lot of catching up to do, I was brainwashed for the best part of 70 years" he jokes and you silently face palm at your lack of awareness

Sam leaves to check with May how far off you are from base.

"Thank you..." you start, "I haven't been able to control the flashbacks... But man, I slept like a baby after whatever you did."

"It's alright y/n. When I came up from the brainwashing I really struggled with sleep. I didn't know whether I could trust my own memory, my own conscience...." He sighs "I couldn't just sit and watch you suffer, and I would do it again and again."

"I couldn't ask you to do that...."

"You don't have to, from now on I'll be checking up on you" he smiles "not in a stalker creepy way, but you are an asset to the team, and well, you seem like a really lovely person who deserves a good night of sleep."

"Thank you, James" you smile back.

His face drops "was that cringe? I just thought James would be better in that situation, it is my name but my friends call me-" he rambles before you interrupt him

"Bucky, I know, or Buck, or old man when you're not listening," you joke "I like the name James, or Bucky, but I do think old man is too harsh, you look good for your age"

"Ouch, my feelings!" Laughs Bucky, "hey who calls me old man I wanna know!"

"Seriously though, James," you sit down next to him "what you did really helped, brought me back, and the cuddles were just a bonus" you wink.

"I think its written in the bible" he says, air quoting with his fingers "James B Barnes - master at cuddling, very rare"

"Hey guys!" Sam interrupts from the hallway "stop flirting and get dressed we're ten minutes out from base, Steve is waiting for a debrief and to give us our next mission."

If you sent in an ask specifically about any of the leaked promo pics consider it answered here. If I still did not answer your specific question go ahead and resend.

First up we have the staggering 3 Pictures the Press Site Originally intended and the 1 picture they gave to TV GUIDE which in true AOS fashion are all of the same scene just with close ups.

As I’ve said in previous asks I don’t think that is Fitz they are looking at, if so I think Deke would be more in the thank goodness Bobo is finally here face vs a wtf face. And now thanks to the Leak I can pretty much confirm that it was....

Kora.

Who looks to have a bone to pick with Daisy and really we are trying to escape here so if Sousa and Mack could just come and knock her out real quick or if Daisy can just get this over with fast we’ll be on our way. However, I am a bit on the fence if May was able to get through to her and nothing would set up Nathaniel killing her like Kora betraying him and helping his rival Daisy and his meal tickets to Fitz get away.

I shall pause for the collective aww of Jemma sleeping on her very protective grandson’s shoulder. They’ve been through a lot and I love how we’ve been able to see their relationship grow over the season. Its everything I’ve been wanting since the second we learned who he was.

Clearly they have been taken onto one of the Chronicoms ships, either for them to continue to interrogate, as bait for Fitz knowing that he will tear the Universe for Jemma Simmons, or as hostages to use against Shield. The second picture to me looks like almost a more candid photo that could have been taken between sets but it could just be some more lovely bonding.

Daisy to the rescue! However, I get some major bad vibes from this here. Jemma looks almost afraid of Daisy (who likely quaked her way in) and doesn’t seem to know who she is. Meaning Diana had to block a lot of other people when she blocked Fitz out. Hopefully I’m wrong here and Jemma is just upset because Daisy is freaking out about the whole “Who is Fitz?” thing too.

And we are making for the exits! Hazzah bearing in mind we run into Kora shortly after this.

Jemma is simmonsing, trying to explain something. Perhaps about Diana, perhaps what she remembers about the plan and something they have to do while on said Chronicom ship. Really these are shots in the dark. The blue lights could mean the Chronicom ships are about do do something or its an early state of oh look trespassers. We do see the lights red in the Promo with Mack.

HELLO MORE WE HAD TIME FLASHBACKS!

And we can add another theory hit to the list! Looks like Fitz is using the Framework and I could be in the minority but I’m glad to see it. It was so heartbreaking in Season 4 to see something he built to protect Jemma and his friends twisted into a hellish nightmare prison. I am more than thrilled that he looks to have been able to put it to good use here and is either using it to keep an eye on the Chronicoms, which him in “Framework Mode” would leave him absolutely exposed. Or he’s using it as a way to build the tech faster. My guess is here is where the realize they’ve found a way to spy on the Chronicoms, they are testing something, or had some other ah ha moment.

Also worth noting is a pregnant Jemma there in the background, complete with a baby bump.

I know I said I would die on that hill and have been for over a year now. But to see it, actually see it coming is still super overwhelming in a way.

But there she is! SECRET CHILD CONFIRMED!!!!!!!

Working and playing alongside her parents as they continue to prep for the final mission. Also happy to see Jemma’s frown turn upside down by her little ray of sunshine there.

I don’t know what this thing is, I have my theory that I’ll go into below, but whatever it is gong to be insanely important. Not only that Jemma is the one who is going to have to assemble and activate the dang thing.

Hence the practicing, even while blindfolded, working it into her muscle memory. Because Jemma Simmons excels at preparation.

My guess is this is where Fitzsimmons explain how it works to us. I’m going with this sucker is how the frack we get Fitz back from wherever the crap he is. And you’ll see why below after he’s made his Grand Entrance.

And could explain her look of concern here. Concern she won’t get it right when the time comes. I also find it odd we have almost different variations of the same scene here or if its a Fitz wakes up and sees she’s concerned.

The we thought Inescapable was straight out of fan fic....well the finale leak says hold my beer. Jemma doing some light reading about the cosmos and taking notes even has mean leaning to them going with a more celestial name to speak to the “one of these days we’ll find something magnificent out in space” quote from Season 3 that came as they offically became cannon.

And then Fitz shows up with Tea, so this could be when we learn their daughters name or Jemma has figured something out to do with the Chronicoms and space and timey whimey stuff. I am rooting for option A.

I’ll take Fitz Kool Aid Manning in for $1000

And for like 10 seconds after he lands he runs the risk of being shot and/or quaked into next Tuesday. Also LOVE the parallel to Deke’s helmet and first appearance.

That glowy ball thing there looks very similar to the device that Jemma was working with in the earlier pics. So hence its the Fitz summoning device.

I’m calling this one with Jemma clinging to Deke here as confirmation that Diana is still in full force and she has no idea who Fitz is. May’s hand up there in the middle could be her warning him of Jemma’s fear or May letting Jemma know he means her no harm.

Collective team surprise at Fitz once again appearing impossibly out of no where.

Based on the WTF looks on pretty much everyone’s faces I’m calling this Fitzsimmons Fitzsimmonsing what the heck the next step is how they they’ve unlocked Fitz as a playable character. And bonus shock that they had a Secret Kid all stashed away all this time too.

I also had a few asked about the helmet there on the table. If the Framework is how Fitzsimmons were able to hack into the Chronicoms systems (turn about is fair play) then I think that helmet on the table was how Fitz was hooked up to it. And it definitely looks different than the one he made his grand entrance in wearing. Jemma activating the device could be what pulled him out and to her. Jemma was literally the ONLY key to getting at Fitz.

And for the Dousy fans out there! Sousa is kinda digging the crazy plan Fitzsimmons just laid out and are they in the Playground or Koenig Bar? Either one I appreciate its not blown up.

Okay there you guys go. I left out just a few of the pics that were super close ups or seemed to be more of BTS than from the shot kind of thing. Have to say it was a very nice surprise to get to do this one more time and on a theory that has been so near and dear to my heart.

y'know the "shot heard 'round the world" thing from the Battle of Lexington (first battle in American revolution, if you don't know what it is, we have no clue who made the first shot & both sides were telling their troops to not fire. once that shot was fired the battle broke out)? yeah well that was Loki i'm pretty sure

Loki comes to Earth and becomes an Avenger and all but only ever introduces himself as DB Cooper. Thor doesn't ever come to Earth, so everyone just thinks DB Cooper found the secret to not age and just showed up to save people. he disappears for stretches of time & everyone stops being confused bc he was in hiding for decades of course no one's gonna find him (he is actually on Asgard)

Songbook Fanfic Master List

Hello all. I have gotten a lot of new followers this year and I’m so happy to welcome you all. For the end of the year, I have created several lists of my work over the years, organized here in a Master List. I have broken them all up by fandom, so you can click on the fandom(s) you are interested in to see more.

I’m really proud of the work I’ve written over the years and some of it is clearly better than others. But I have always written fanfic for myself and any joy it can bring other people is a bonus. So even though some of this writing is rough around the edges, they all hold a special place in my heart.

Songbook’s Legend of Korra Fanfiction: Seeing as most of you are have found me from my Kyalin fic, here is all the LoK fics have written both here and on AO3. It is not all Kyalin, but I love them all the same.

Songbook’s Harry Potter Fanfiction: This is the first fandom I started writing in (most were written under the penname Minerva’s_Soul). Minerva McGonagall remains one of my favorite characters and I really enjoyed writing in the HP Universe.

Songbook’s Star Trek Fanfiction: So one of my favorite pieces that I ever wrote is a Star Trek AOS story. I also have a couple of other pieces (mainly on FF.net and are old, so read at your own risk).

Songbook’s Downton Abbey Fanfiction: After LoK, this is the fandom that I have written the most for...and every single one of them is Isobel Crawley/Richard Clarkson. There is one fic that I never finished and may rewrite next year which features multiple characters/couples. We shall see...

Songbook’s Doctor Who/Sarah Jane Adventures Fanfiction: I have only written Sarah Jane Smith fanfics in this fandom, because she’s my absolute favorite.

Songbook’s Star Wars Fanfiction: I started writing Leia/Amilyn Holdo fanfic...and found myself delving into the world a bit. I would love to play in this sandbox some more because there’s so much potential.

Songbook’s The 100 Fanfiction: There is only one fic in this fandom and it’s a fix-it fic all the way back in Season Three. Clexa fans will know what I’m talking about.

Songbook’s X-Men Fanfiction: I don’t know how to explain these and I almost left them off the list. But I wrote them. And honestly, they are what I needed at the time that I wrote them and helped me become a better writer. So take a look at your own risk.

life is not the things that we do (it's who we're doing them with) by @knoepfchen - TOG - modern!AU Joe/Nicky, finding love while getting stuck together in pandemic lockdown, very sweet and soft

Deep in the Tree, All the Locks Click Open by Tam_Cranver - TOG - Andy/Nile/Quynh fusion AU of fantasy and awesomeness that combines elements of Ladyhawke and Jane Eyre and JUST GO READ IT OKAY, IT IS GREAT (the boys are all there too, being awesome, but the focus is on the ladies as it should be)

Ten Degrees Below Zero by @kianspo - Star Trek AOS - Kirk/Spock AU where everyone's still Starfleet but the circumstances are somewhat different (it's inspired by "The Vor Game", as a bonus for Vorkosigan fans), and it's a goddamn delight to find new excellent Trek fic, because this is a fandom I rarely write but have read quite a lot in and it makes me so happy.

Look, I just got home from a ten-day vacation of much family and zero writing time, which was lovely but makes me feel extremely behind in all my WIPs. Which is a very silly feeling, since it's not like I'm writing on any kind of schedule, but still. Stupid productivity hustle. But I did manage to sit down and do a full outline hashing out the plot points for the last part of my Old Guard 007 AU, so I know exactly where that's going and how it's getting there, which is rather a relief considering I've been flying by the seat of my pants for this whole series. Which, in fairness, was not really supposed to be a series when I started it! It was just a silly quick one-off Andy/Quynh AU scenario, with potential for a fun little Joe/Nicky followup! And then it grew a plot for some damn reason. Stupid plot.

Ryokuryuu’s Lifeline

Part 10: The Choice

When you woke up, Jae-ha wasn't beside you. As you slowly sat up, your door opened, revealing a certain Ryokuryuu. Jae-ha nearly ran over to you, placing a hand on your back to support you.

"Easy," He murmured as you winced in pain. "You were asleep all day yesterday."

Your eyes went wide. "Oh no! Did I miss the send off?!"

Jae-ha chuckled nervously, "No, that's later today. How are you feeling?" Concerned eyes scanning your figure anxiously.

"Better than before." You reassured him. "Still a little sore, but I'll be alright."

Jae-ha nodded, and you situated yourself so you were leaning against the wall, legs extended in front of you.

"Wait here." Then he left, with you looking curiously after him. He came back with a large plate of food and some water.

"Yoon?" You guessed and he grinned. The mouth-watering food couldn't have be made by anyone else.

"He says you're to rest and limit your movements or else he will reprimand you into next week." Jae-ha relayed, handing the food to you.

You gobbled it down. You hadn't realized just how hungry you were.

Jae-ha laughed at the sight of your stuffed cheeks, it somehow mirrored the image of Shin-ah's squirrel, Ao. You pouted at him as best as you could after you gulped down your food and he patted your head fondly.

"You're just very cute, Y/N."

You blushed at that, setting down your spoon, mouth gaping open as you struggled to fire back a response but coming up empty. He chuckled and you huffed at him, crossing your arms stubbornly over your chest.

As you continued to chow down on your food, you noticed Jae-ha was visibly agitated across from you. Setting aside the now empty bowl, you took his hand in yours, lacing your fingers together. He looked up at you at the contact, tears watering in his eyes.

Your eyes widened in shock, "What's the matter?"

He choked on his words, unable to formulate them and you hushed him, drawing him close to you. Your fingers ran to his hair, and you pressed a soothing kiss to his temple.

"Number?" Your concern grew when he didn't answer you right away. "Jae-ha?"

He hesitantly brushed one finger against your wrist and you tensed in alarm.

"Are you hurt?" Eyes frantically roaming over his form in worry. "What's wrong?"

Jae-ha took a deep breath, and exhaled shakily. "I'm leaving with Yona today."

Tense silence fell over the two of you.

"Okay." You shrugged nonchalantly.

He blinked. "Okay?"

"Yeah," You got up, stretching your arms above your head. "When do we leave?"

"Whoa, whoa, whoa," Jae-ha held out his hands to stop you as you moved to gather some things. "You're not coming with."

You narrowed your eyes at him. "And why not? Wherever you go, I always go."

"It'll be dangerous." You rolled your eyes at that, but Jae-ha didn't stop. "The princess is being hunted, she's basically in exile from the castle, there's no telling what would happen. I'm not putting you through that uncertainty and danger again."

"So you're going to leave me behind? Where I'm 'safe'?" You retorted and he nodded. "You honestly think that just because Kum-ji is dead, this town will be safe?"

He flinched at your words but he heard the truth in them. "There will always be something or someone, Jae-ha. I'd rather be by your side than anywhere else in the world when I come across it. I'm going with you."

"Besides," You tossed a smirk over your shoulder, "I was already planning on tagging along." You grinned slyly at him and shot out of the room, your dragon scrambling after you.

"What, since when?!" He exclaimed.

You tapped a finger to your chin in thought. "Since the second day they arrived, I believe."

"WHAT?!?! WHY?!"

"Because I already knew you were going to go with them, even if you didn't see it at the time." You explained.

He scratched his head. "Did you already tell everyone else?"

"Yup," You chirped. "How do you think the pirates knew you were leaving too when they asked you a couple days ago?"

Jae-ha jolted, "You were awake?!"

Your giggle answered his question and he asked softly, "Are you sure about this?"

"Jae-ha," You could see the insecurity swimming in his eyes. "You're not making me do anything. I've already decided on this a long ago."

"I didn't want to choose between you and Yona, Y/N." Jae-ha said seriously, and you understood where he was coming from, but he really didn't get it.

"Who said you have to choose?" You replied softly. "I'm loyal to her too, even if I don't understand it fully from your perspective, not being a dragon and all. But like hell you're leaving me behind."

Your stubborn declaration sent a spark of desire pulsing through his veins. Jae-ha cursed under his breath, and you bent down to look at his shadowed eyes covered by his distinct green fringe. "What's wrong, big guy?"

You gasped as he pinned you to the wall roughly, his breath hot on your ear. "I love you, Y/N, so much, but you're not making it easy to contain myself."

His hard body pressed against yours, and you whimpered as he began to kiss your neck, instinctively tilting your head to give him more access. Your eyes closed and you muffled a moan into his shoulder as his leg pushed between yours. "Can I keep going, Y/N?"

You eagerly nodded.

"Need to hear you say it." He murmured, sprinkling hot kisses onto your skin.

"Yes, Jae-ha. Please." You mewled, arching into his touch.

"If you two brats are going to do it in the hallway," Captain Gi-gan's voice floated through the air. "Block off the area or something. You have an audience."

You and Jae-ha looked up to see your comrades looking at you wide-eyed.

Jae-ha smirked, "It's normal for them not to be able to resist my beauty, captain." They all collectively groaned, and the pirates yanked you out of his grasp.

"Yah, Jae-ha! Don't defile Y/N!!"

You laughed as they swept you away, and Jae-ha chased after them. You broke out onto the deck, the sunlight shining brightly in the sky.

"Give her back." Jae-ha licked his lips, gaze predatory.

"Never!!!" The pirates cheered, charging at him. You laughed as they fought, Jae-ha defeating them all easily.

"Jae-ha~" They whined. "No fair!"

He ignored them as he walked over to you with a smile wide on his face.

"I believe I deserve a kiss for my victory, missy."

You leaned up and closed your eyes as his lips collided with yours, hollers and jeering coming from your pirate brothers.

"It's time." Captain Gi-gan announced. You and Jae-ha exchanged a glance as the pirates all began to file off the ship and head towards the edge of the town. You gave him a small nod and he tossed you a smug smirk. Then, he leaped off in the direction of the forest and you ducked in your room for the last time. You rushed to get dressed, putting on a cloak and tossing up the hood, roughly throwing a couple things in a sack and slinging it over your shoulder. Captain Gi-gan and the others should be seeing them off right about now.

You raced to the edge of town, spotting Yona easily, her red hair a dead giveaway. You scampered along the rooftops as you made your way to them, keeping out of sight.

Captain Gi-gan exhaled smoke from her pipe. "If you ever need a boat, talk to me. I'll always have one prepared."

"Thank you." Yona replied gratefully.

You saw Hak glance at where you were, catching your movement from the corner of his eye as you ducked into the shadows. Scaling down the wall, you landed lightly, blending into the crowd and made your way past them, clambering up a tree a little ways away from them.

Watching and waiting.

You lifted your head as you heard Yoon exclaim in surprise as the Captain gifted them some sejusou. As the group said their last goodbyes, you waved at Captain Gi-gan from your vantage point, and she smiled secretly at you. Their group hadn't made it more than a few paces before Yona sprinted back towards the town.

You smiled softly as she launched herself in Captain Gi-gan's arms. As the captain hugged Yona, the pirates all started bawling, and you couldn't stop the few tears that escaped yourself. You were going to miss them, but you wouldn't be gone for forever.

Finally, you started to walk away from the town that you had called home, leaving behind your family. Yona was still crying as you left, causing Yoon and Kija to follow suit. You followed them stealthily from the treetops, keeping your steps light.

Yona sniffled, "I wish I had gotten to say goodbye to Jae-ha and Y/N."

"Jae-ha? I thought he joined us." Kija asked, confused.

Unsheathing his blade from his back, Shin-ah sliced clean through the tree trunk beside your group, causing your eyes to widen in shock. Jae-ha's shout could be heard for miles as he fell down with the tree.

"Jae-ha!" Yona exclaimed in surprise.

"Ah... Yona dear." Jae-ha rubbed the back of his neck sheepishly. "Seeing as though the pirates are no more, I've decided to travel with you."

"What about Y/N?" Yona asked, worried she had caused a rift between the two of you.

You landed in a crouch in front of them, startling everyone except for Hak and Jae-ha, who knew you were there.

"No worries, Your Highness," You winked. "If you'd have me on your quest, I pledge my loyalty to you. It would be an honor to serve you again."

"Y/N," Yona's eyes sparkled. "I would be so happy!"

You leaped up, hugging your friend tight.

"So," Hak interjected as Jae-ha pulled you to his side, arm draped protectively over your shoulder. "Where do we go now, Princess?"

Yona smiled, exchanging an excited look with you. "Wherever we'd like."

Bonus Ending:

"So, does this mean I'll get to see you two kiss eventually?" You asked, pointing at Hak and Yona, who both were blushing furiously.

"Y/N..." Yoon warned, glaring at you.

The smug grin on your face didn't fade. "And maybe I'll get to do more than just kiss Jae-ha next time, if that's what they want." You sighed wistfully.

"DON'T BREAK THE FOURTH WALL!!!" The genius pretty boy snapped angrily at you while Jae-ha smirked.

Yona looked at you innocently. "What do you mean Y/N?"

You opened your mouth to answer her, but Hak slapped a hand over your mouth. You glared at him, but he didn't falter. "You don't need to hear the lies she'll tell you, Princess."

There was a muffled shout from underneath his hand, and Jae-ha stifled his laugh. "What Hak means to say, Yona dear, is that-"

He was interrupted by the Thunder Beast's fist making contact with his face. You wiped your mouth with the back of your hand in mild disgust.

"Ugh, gross!" You complained. Shin-ah cracked a smile and you grinned widely at him. "Ah Yona, allow me to explain..."

The second you slung an arm over her shoulder, you were pushed off by a certain ex-general. He gripped Yona tightly to him, glaring at you over her head.

"Y/N." Cobalt eyes pierced yours and you raised your hands in surrender.

You back away, crashing into Jae-ha who was cleaning the blood spurting from his nose with the back of his sleeve. You shared a mischievous grin with him.

They were going to be so fun to mess with.

So... I love the concept of a Dousy pregnancy. Shoutout to all the brilliant writers out there for the fics exploring this— they’re actually the most adorable thing ever. Like?!? Daniel being an amazing supportive dad & always making sure Daisy is comfortable?? Yes. Gimme. Daisy being like the coolest superhero mom on mother earth?? fUCK YEAH. Bonus if her and May bond over it & May teaches her stuff about parenting bc let’s be honest she’s the ‘team Mom’ & helps Daisy feel comfortableeeee and ahHHH CUTE.

...But as much as that is the loveliest concept ever..having thought about it a bit- I don’t actually think (at least in the ‘canon’ universe of AoS & the way things were left off after the finale) that Daisy is/will be pregnant..? That is not to say she will never be a mom, though.

Her & Daniel are, like, top-notch parent material. Seriously. But having experienced the horrors and abuse and loneliness of the foster-care system? There’s absolutely no way Daisy would want anyone e v e r to feel the way she did growing up- to be foreign to the concept of family, safety, home.. to have the crushing reoccurring thought that there’s no one out there who wants you.. that’s heartbreaking!! Especially to a kid—even more so to a teenager because now these horrible thoughts have engraved themselves into your essence, identity, soul..

No one can tell me Daisy wouldn’t want to save them all. And Daniel. C’mon. He would obviously be 362685% supportive because he adores her and- being out of his time- knows what it feels like to have nothing and no one, to be lost— so they’d want to heal these broken lonely kids, patch them up, mend the little wounds and cuts and bruises on their skin and the not so little ones on their hearts and give them a home.

But I also think they’d adopt older kids. NOT that babies deserve less of a family or love—but because they know its only a matter of weeks before some other lovely couple adopts them and gives them a beautiful life. Babies and toddlers are cute and adopters can still go through the whole process of ‘raising them’ & baby stuff, so they’re usually the first to go- it’s a sad truth, but Daisy knows it. Instead, they’d look to adopt older kids, teenagers, 12-18 year olds who’ve probably given up hope.. (Daisy knows she had by then..). And they would probably adopt a lot of kids. Like I can just see them coming to meet a potential teen or two they’d like to adopt and like not being able to leave the others because they have so much love to give and just..

But that’s what I see them doing tho!! Adopting special-needs kids, teens with mental disorders, inhumans who don’t know how to control their powers, queer youth shunned for being different by the foster-care system’s 'discipline’. They’d adopt ‘difficult’ kids because..well, Daisy knows what it’s like to have that label. And obviously it wouldn’t be easy. None of it is. Parenting, being a superhero, navigating the many needs of each kid, getting to know them, making sure they’re ok--But Dousy aren’t looking for ‘easy’. And since most of them would be almost adults, they’d soon go off on their own path- some to the Coulson academy, some to university, some on a journey of self-discovery-- Daisy and Daniel would just always be there for them, be their constant, their safe place...

...just like her own S.H.I.E.L.D family, no matter how scattered and far away, will always always be to her :)

Ten of my favourite fictional women for women’s history month

I was tagged by the ever lovely @valentinaonthemoon! Thanks so much lovely! :)

The following is in absolutely no particular order.

1. Leslie Knope (Parks and Rec)

A very passionate, very kind and amazing and hardworking but who is also flawed and can let her passion blind her to the truth sometimes, and her habit of digging her heels in can sometimes get her in sticky situations. I love her lots and lots and the level to which I relate to her is probably not good. I often say I am like the English Lit Leslie Knope with bonus anxiety. I love her lots.

2. Skye/Daisy Johnson (Agents of Shield)

A badass queen who I love SO MUCH. Honestly her arc in AoS is just one of my favourites of all time. She is funny and passionate, but also headstrong and determined (sometimes to a fault). I love that she is not perfect, that she is flawed, and has been through so much and still chooses to be good. I love her lots.

3. Jemma Simmons (Agents of Shield)

A wonderful science queen. She is just SO fundamentally good. Her curiosity and wonder for the world (and universe) is just so inspiring to me, but again her love and passion (esp for Fitz) can sometimes blind her to the reality of a situation but I still love that about her (it’s a very human trait to have). It has been an absolute privilage to watch her go from this very bright eyed, naive and curious young woman, to a passionate, badass, yet still so fundamentally kind and caring woman. Again, one of my favourite character arcs ever. I love her sososo much.

4. Peggy Carter (Agent Carter and wider MCU)

She is nothing like me and yet everything I aspire to be. What an absolute badass. She’s so intelligent and just such a role model to me. She stands for no shit and never sacrifices an OUNCE of her femininity to do it. Before coming across her I had never seen a character who was like that, who could retain this utter solidly badass personality and still keep this femininity, who liked having her hair done, who wore lipstick and skirts. I struggled so hard in my teenage years with reconciling, particularly femininity and intelligence, I wanted to be taken seriously but I never thought I would be if I was in a dress, and Peggy was the one who really changed that for me and I started embracing more traditionally feminine things. I just love everything about her, she has a temper, she lets her anger get the better of her sometimes, SHE IS NOT PERFECT (are you noticing a theme) and I just love her so much.

4. Rose Tyler (Doctor Who)

Again, a very formative character for me. She was working class, she was amazing and smart and sassy and most importantly for young me, SHE WAS BLONDE. I had grown up with the dumb blonde stereotype being put on me (despite never really being unintelligent) and hadn’t ever really seen a blonde character who didn’t slot, at least partially into that stereotype. She is fierce and firey and can give anyone exactly what’s coming to them. She is brave and wonderful, and so incredibly human. I love her lots and lots.

5. Beatrice (Much Ado About Nothing)

My snarky love. You all know how much I love Much Ado right? Her “Oh god that I were a man” speech is just one of my favourite pieces of writing at all time. I could write multiple dissertations just about her, she is so endlessly fascinating to me in all of her iterations. A woman scorned and holy shit she’s gonna let you hear about it. One half of the best (SUSPECTED) lovers to enemies to lovers. She’s so INCREDIBLY witty and sharp and she’s just so BITTER about whatever the hell it is that Benedick did to her and ugh I just love her so much.

6. The Thirteenth Doctor (Doctor Who)

I cried at every single episode in her first season because I was so happy and so overwhelmed that The Doctor was FINALLY a woman. She is intelligent and quirky and just wonderful, whilst still retaining that really deep seated anger and kind of fury that The Doctor holds within them self. asdfghjkl I love her so much.

7. Anne Eliot (Persuasion)

My soft, quiet, pining queen. Wants snuggles but only gets struggles. Pines for nearly a decade for the same guy (a full mood) and MARRIED HIM IN THE END BC HE ALSO PINED FOR HER FOR A DECADE!!! Underappreciated by her family who are arseholes and deserves so much better than them and Jane Austen gave it to her and we cannot help but stan for that. I love her so very much.

8. Darrell Rivers (Mallory Towers)

Mallory Towers by Enid Blyton was my favourite book series growing up. I have read it more times than I can actually count. My copies are the most loved books in my collection. Darrell was the first character I ever remember relating to. There’s a passage in the first book where she sits down with her teacher bc her marks aren’t very good and they talk about how some people, like her friend Alicia, can muck about in class and be silly and still get good marks, but other people, like Darrell, need to focus and concentrate in order to do well, and that HIT HOME with 7 year old me. She has an awful temper and says things in spite and anger that are really quite awful, but always feels bad afterwards and really is just a good egg. I love her lots.

9. Sibyl Crawley/Branson (Downton Abbey)

An all time fav. An absolute SWEETHEART but will absolutely tear you a new one if need be. It’s been almost ten years and I am still absolutely DEVASTATED by her death, we were absolutely robbed of seeing her as a mother, she would have been absolutely incredible. Part of one of my favourite romantic plotlines of all time, they shoudl have had their own show, Julien Fellowes fight me. I have so many feelings about Sibyl I could not possibly do them justice in just one small paragraph. I love her SO MUCH.

10. Elizabeth Bennet (Pride and Prejudice)

A sassy queen who is stubborn and benefits immensely from admitting that she was wrong. One of my favourite characters of all time, Jane Austen knew how to write characters SO INCREDIBLY WELL!! I think we have all met someone like Elizabeth Bennet in our lives. Declares she will never marry for anything but love (we love to see it) even if it means she will either be a spinster or destitute (probably both). I love her so much.
