Barista Soulmate (Café Part) a1 d3
[Caution: These are not full fics, or even full parts of fics for some, these are part of my writing progress archive!]
Concept: Reader owns a café in Seoul, known for being private, discreet, and delicious among those in the entertainment industry. The owner happens to be the final piece of the well-known 7-member soulmate cluster and global superstars BTS. Not that anyone knows that.
Word Count: 2,010
Notes: I've got a lot of ideas for this fic, and I've already restructured the world building like 80 times. This part does not feature any members of BTS, but it does feature Changbin and Yeonjun :D Yeonjun is important UvU This is probably the only part I have rn that won't be entirely redone lmao. This beast is hard to write bc I have a very specific vibe in mind for it.
Warnings: None that I know of?
Masterlist Link <3 | Next Part Link :D
You hum tunelessly to yourself as you bustle around your silent cafe. The sweet smell of the pastries currently baking in the backroom and the soft light of the pre dawn hours are your only companions as you lightly dance around sweeping the floor and watering the plants that need it. Just like every morning, you entertain yourself with your own music before the playlist that’ll take over your entire day begins to play. You could always change it, but the mix was soothing to you after 3 years.
You’d moved to Seoul for university about 4 years ago, promptly dropped out, and used your life savings to buy your cramped little café. It’d been your dream to expand it, once, but by now everything from the kitchen you could barely move in, to the single cozy bay window seat, to the tight alley that your front door opened to was precious to you. You’d poured your soul into this little place, and moving was unthinkable now.
You could certainly afford to do so at this point though. When you’d first opened you’d had to camp out in your closet-like break room, no other home to speak of. After about a year you’d proven to the locals that you brewed the best coffee in Seoul and baked a mean muffin to boot. You’d gained enough loyal regulars to keep your head afloat and, as word spread and you got busier, enough to afford your own apartment nearby.
Your café stayed right where it was, though. It would stay there for a long time, if you had any say about it. Your cramped little alley and crowded four walls had soaked up all the love and comfort you could bear to exude and at this point you felt as if the building had taken on a soul of its own with everything you’d given for it.
Your customers sure seemed to appreciate it, at least. You’d lost count of how many times your café had been described to you as lovely or cozy or homey. You’d strived to create a safe haven between these four walls, for you and for your customers. A place to put down their busy lives and rest for a spell, and a menu that allowed them to take a piece of warmth and healing with them when they leave.
Just as you finish your sweeping and begin to open your register, a knock sounds on the large bay window by your front door. You look up to see a familiar silhouette dressed head to toe in black, face covered with a black ball cap pulled low and face mask. Once he sees he has your attention he waves cheerfully. You make a face and stick your tongue out at him, going back to opening your register.
You can’t help the smile that breaks across your face when his offended wail manages to make it into the building despite your locked doors. Luckily for him, the register was the last thing you had to do before going back into the kitchen, which could wait the 10 minutes it’d take to greet him.
You finish up and able your way towards the door, café now completely silent as your humming stops. You take your time unlocking your heavy wooden door and swing it open only a crack, just enough to peak your head through.
Sure enough, Changbin’s recognizable girth greets you when the sunlight meets your face. You can’t help the smile that crosses your face when you see him, but you narrow your eyes into a suspicious glare anyways.
“We’re closed.” You deadpan, cackling internally as his face screws up enough at your taunt for you to tell behind his mask.
“I know the owner, she always lets me in,” Is his smug retort and, well, you can’t deny that. He was one of your best customers after all. There’s a shocked choke from behind him, and for the first time you notice the slighter figure hovering somewhat timidly behind Changbin. Immediately you straighten up and lose the mischief to your smile.
“You should have told me you brought me a new customer, Binnie!” You scold him with a laugh, “I’d have prepared a warmer welcome.” You don’t recognize the man he’s brought with him, but you assume he’s another idol. The new faces your Idol regulars bring with them usually are.
Being located on the edge of Nonhyeon-dong bordering Cheongdam-dong means that you see quite a few idols just casually hanging around. After the first had indulged in the caffeinated goodness you specialized in, more and more had trickled in over time. These days it was rare you didn’t see at least one in a day. Even the ones like Changbin, who’s companies were a bit farther away, tended to stop by once a week or so.
You like to think it’s because your coffee is just that godly, but in all honesty it probably had just as much to do with the private location and low foot-traffic.
“You didn’t give me a chance!” Changbin complains, gently sliding past you as you finally open the door, holding it open as both idols make their way inside.
“Yeah, yeah, it’s your fault for always stopping by before we open.” You snipe back, moving behind the counter to start his usual order as he pulls your chairs down from the tables like he works here. His friend hovers somewhat anxiously as he does this, but the action only takes him a moment due to how few tables you have. When he’s done he swings a chair around to take a seat. His friend follows suit and you have to wonder when Changbin will either introduce him or order for him.
Changbin brings a dramatic hand up to his chest to feign hurt as he leans back in his seat. “I’m hurt, really I am! I thought we were friends!” you roll your eyes at him fondly.
“If we were such good friends,” You state him primly, “You’d’ve told me you had a show I’d be able to attend soon.”
He perks up at this, eyes sparkling as he forgets his dramatics, “Wait, seriously?” he asks, “Which one? I’ll get you a good ticket!” You scrunch your nose up at him.
“I’m not telling you! I got the ticket I have fair and square, like a proper STAY. You don’t get to take fan status away from me.” His answering groan is music to your ears and you round the counter with his drink in hand to set it in front of him.
“C’mon, I could beg for us to commission you for catering and all!” He whines.
“Even more reason not to tell you,” You tease, “It’s on my birthday, I don’t wanna work on my birthday.”
You ignore his gaping visage, aware that you’d just dropped a bit of a bomb on him, and turn to his forgotten friend.
“Since this lug seems to have forgotten his manners, hi, I’m the owner of this café.” You greet. You introduce yourself briefly and then proceed to ask if he’d like anything to drink. “On Binnie’s tab, of course.” You barely hold back your amusement as that breaks the beefy man from his daze and he starts to protest.
“Ah, I’m Yeonjun,” He returns your introductions, “Uh, an iced americano would be fine, please.” You don’t recognize the name off the top of your head, but if he becomes a regular you’d need to find a way to support his group, so you’d look it up after he left.
You’d done the same with every new group to pass through your doors. The majority didn’t know about this, of course, but as your largest (and largest-tipping) regular customer-base, you’d decided it was the least you could do. A few times the idols had been the only thing between you and sleeping in the break room again, so you felt you owed them what support you could afford to give.
Besides, your new customers very often ended up on your café playlist after a while, so it all worked out.
As you make your way back behind the counter to make Yeonjun’s drink, Changbin jumps up to follow you.
“Wait, wait, wait,” he stammers, “No, we gotta rewind, what do you mean your birthday?” He questions insistently.
“I mean my birthday is the same day as one of your upcoming shows,” you explain slowly, like he’s dumb. He’s not, you know, you’re simply enjoying riling him up far too much. You know exactly why he’s freaking out. After all,
“I’ve known you for a year and a half!” He bursts, “How is this the biggest hint I’ve ever gotten about when your birthday is?!”
“Because you don’t need to know.” You inform him. “You’d try to do something, and I don’t want you to.” He groans again, sinking down to lay his head on the counter.
He removes himself from his sulk just enough to pull out his phone and check his calendar.
“We just announced the tour, but it’s gotta be a Seoul date, right?” He mutters to himself, “We’ve only got four...” He trails off, looking up to glare at you as you work. “I will figure it out!” You smile and reach across the counter to pat his head.
“Good luck with that, bud.” You know damn well that those four shows are two sets of two set decently far apart. The only real hint for your birthday will be that the Café will be closed. Unfortunately for Changbin, he will be performing that day.
Yeonjun apparently has had enough of being sidelined and involves himself in the conversation, “Maybe I should come around and investigate,” he muses, “I could be free.”
You finish up the drink you were working on and ring up both drinks on the register. You push the card reader toward Changbin’s pouting form as you round the counter to hand the americano off to Yeonjun. The slumped idol pulls out his wallet begrudgingly, but does pay. If you know him well at all, he’s even left you a nice tip, despite your constant ribbing.
“As long as you don’t tell Binnie your findings, all is well,” You agree peaceably. Yeonjun snickers as he accepts his drink from you.
“Oh, of course,” he nods sagely, the both of you enjoying Changbin’s long suffering noises behind you. Yeonjun takes advantage of the lull in conversation to take a sip of his americano.
Changbin straightens up and turns to watch Yeonjun with a certain gleam in his eyes as the other idol takes the first sip of his drink. You watch Yeonjun’s eyes widen in surprise as the taste hits his tongue, pausing just to look at his cup with awe.
“I told you,” Changbin pipes up, “Best in Seoul.” he states proudly, as if it’s his café instead of yours. You can’t help your fond smile as you shake your head at him.
Yeonjun looks up at you like you’ve handed him the holy grail. “I’m going to need, like, four gallons of this.” He tells you seriously. You laugh and wave him off, promising him that he’s welcome to come to the café anytime.
You take a glace at the wall clock above the counter and begin ushering the boys to take their leave.
“I’m sure you both have places to be, and I have a café to actually open,” You aim the last part of your statement at Changbin, who only smiles unrepentantly. He’s the only idol who’d ever taken your promise of ‘welcome anytime’ 100% seriously. It’s the reason you’re such close friends now, but it does mean that the man shows up at every odd hour.
Both idols leave with smiles and drinks, and you can’t help but think that if a bit of a detour in your routine is the price for all of your days starting out well, then it wasn’t really much of a price at all.

tagged by @broodsys for this writer questionnaire uvu ty, i got really into this one. the deep jazz lore incoming <3
tagging @lyriumlullaby-ao3, @inscrutable-shadow, and @skadizzleross
copy and paste-able question list at the bottom of the post!
1. How many works do you have on AO3?
says 88, but one is anonymous lol 89 babey
2. What's your total AO3 word count?
824,682
3. What fandoms do you write for?
dragon age currently, prior to that, detroit: become human. some witcher and RWBY mixed in. teen wolf, dishonored, red vs blue, homestuck back in the day, a couple other things.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
Truth in Melody (witcher, geraskier)
The World Upside Down (dbh gen)
left an impression on my heart (teen wolf, scott/stiles. its over a decade old i am not linking this lol)
Variable Outcome (dbh, connor & gavin gen)
Winter Chill and Summer Bloom (dbh, connor/gavin)
5. Do you respond to comments?
absolutely! if i don't, it's only because the person is being a jerk or just uncomfortable. give me a heart emoji, you're getting a heart emoji right back. boop
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
i generally write happy endings, no matter how hellish the road to that happy endings is. i do, however, have a Bad End dbh oneshot. Fair Compensation. it's straight up non-con, and from aggressor pov, so viewer discretion is advised
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
gosh idk how i could pick. as i said in the previous answer, i try to leave off on a high note. Truth in Melody or perhaps Promises to Keep. wouldn't say they're happier than others, but they're among my longest fics, which means the characters had to go through some bullshit to get those happy endings lmfao
8. Do you get hate on fics?
a couple times. more often, i get weird / uncomfortable comments that i just ignore
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
i do! well, i'd say "kinky" tends to be a general theme ahahaha and feelsy! smut in my chaptered fics are more basic, the oneshots can be wild though. and then there's from the depths, an ancient song, where i wrote a foursome involving a LOT of tentacles. like a lot. so take that how you will.
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
ive dabbled in ideas, but rarely get around to actually writing them. i do like the concept of smashing my favourite universes together, though. my dbh vampire series is basically just the lore of vampire: the masquerade, but i wouldn't consider it a full crossover
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
not that i know of
12. Have you ever had a fic translated?
i have! and a couple additional requests, one that i denied, and another that i agreed to but no result yet! still hoping <3
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
yes, for events. shout out to any of my buddies from the homestuck shipping olympics who see this :p can you BELIEVE how long it has been
roleplaying is also kinda like co-writing fics sometimes honestly. i've got some threads that have been ongoing for years and took a lot of plotting and planning together uvu
14. What's your all time favorite ship?
how dare u ask me this. this is nearly impossible aughh but i'm going to say corvo/daud from dishonored
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
basically anything from my favourite games and such that are nonetheless overshadowed by current hyperfixation. i'm forever sad that most of my many, many dishonored fic ideas were from a time when i chronically could not finish anything
16. What are your writing strengths?
i don't know, i'm bad at acknowledging good things about myself lol characterization, i suppose, that tends to be what i get the most lovely comments about <3
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
fluff, unless it's the resolution to angst lmfao i need to build up to it. drop me straight into a nothing scenario of fluff and i don't know what to DO. technical-wise, idk, descriptions i think
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language in fic?
it certainly has its place and can be done well! but it's easy to mess it up, too. you need to make sure it's accurate and fitting for the scene, you need to avoid racist stereotyping, you need the story to still make sense and flow well. if the message isn't clear because most readers don't know the language, or have to keep looking it up / reading author notes, that's immersion-breaking imo. with fictional languages where much of the fanbase is familiar with the common words, though, no big deal i'd say
19. First fandom you wrote for?
honestly i think it was the cartoon, angry beavers lol i didn't know what's what i was doing, at the time. as far as serious, intentional stories, maybe firefly? or xmen?
20. Favorite fic you've written?
i cannot pick just one lol 4 is as low as ill go
previously linked Winter Chill and Summer Bloom: this is very hurt/comfort, my favourite thing, with a bunch of my other favourite things tossed in. touch-starvation, non-verbal character, characters getting away from the location of their suffering to heal in a better place, both physically and mentally, sweet slice of life stuff etc.
take these broken wings and learn to fly: more h/c! this one starts off heavy as hell and involves a lot of Process of Healing (to no ones surprise, at this point). healing has gotta be one of my favourite genders. also it's femslash.
Sight & Shadows: it's both plot- and character-driven, i'm happy with how i balanced both simultaneously. it's my vampire au, and other than the v:tm lore borrowing, it feels almost original to me. it's a rarepair, in an au--as niche as it gets, shaped a lot by the universe and story i put together for the whole series. it was a joy to create, because i truly did write this for ME. i wouldn't say any of my fics were written for others, per se, but i guess this one just felt different from the start. i wasn't anticipating an audience, i was just telling the story these characters needed, the way i like to do it. i had great friends supporting me through it, so i wasn't alone in the process or anything, it just felt the most like writing an original story than any of my other fics have
into the light of the dark black night: first of all, yes, 2/4 fics listed here are titled with lyrics from blackbird by the beatles. blackbird lyrics means intense feelings, that's just how it is. i've done it twice, and ill DO IT AGAIN. anyway, this one takes place in one of dbh's grimmest possible endings--the nuclear blast ending. i did a lot of research for this one, and also put a lot of thought into handling it with as much care as i think a concept like this requires. it's weighty, but hopeful. it has apocalypse elements, which i love. i got to do cyberpunky stuff as well. i added some of the elements i think dbh would have included if d@vid cage weren't a coward. i projected multiplicity onto some of the characters. i got to write north as the steadfast and successful leader of the revolution, as she deserves. blackbird fly <3
if you made it through all of that... thank you :>

for kyojuro: 1, 9, 11, 24, 25
spicy headcanons | @vonerde asks about kyo!
Tumblr media
1. where are your muse’s most sensitive erogenous zones?
hmm, i'm gonna say his lower stomach, his scalp, and his neck/shoulders! and this isn't part of the question, but i imagine that kyo's stress causes him to have some soreness in his neck and shoulders. so i'm just saying that he probably gets extra sensitive in those areas, especially if your muse is being kind and massaging his muscles uvu
9. what’s one thing that never fails to turn your muse on?
intentional touches and the like :' ) a hand brushing against his thigh, leaning in closer than you really need to and lingering there -- while kyo isn't subtle himself, i don't think that sort of thing is lost on him, and it gets him thinking. it becomes something of a little game, too, bc he'll try to figure out if you're actually dropping hints by mirroring you ( or trying to asdf ). but this really only works if he's in a relationship with the other person/knows them well enough to realize what they're doing bc otherwise, he'll just be ??? what're you doing??? i also recommend the aforementioned massage :' )
11. how loud is your muse during sex?
even though kyo is a loud person, i don't think you're going to hear him yelling during sex asdf a lot of the time, that's him putting on a little bit of a persona; in an intimate moment, he's more likely to be vocal but at an average volume. he isn't embarrassed by what comes out of his mouth, so don't count of him trying to be quiet unless your muse requests it or they need to be! he will freely moan and praise your muse, grunt and growl, whatever feels right in the moment!
24. how high is your muse’s sex drive on average?
bc kyo is a high energy personality, i'm gonna say his drive runs kinda high. he's got incredible self restraint, though... : )
25. would your muse hide hickeys/marks on their body or wear them proudly?
oh, he'd hide them for sure asdf if he was in the privacy of his own home alone with his lover, that's one thing, but i think kyo would be on the more private side when it comes to this stuff. he'll proudly declare his love without a doubt, but what happens between him and his lover is their business alone. plus kyo was raised more traditionally, so i doubt that there was much of a " birds and the bees " talk, if there was one at all. i can see him being shy and embarrassed if anyone were to poke at him about any marks.

Tally Hall uvu
Gotcha! Okay, so, here's all the reasons why you would be correct:
"Spending every dollar at the liquor shop and even though I know I haven't got a lot I'll try to give you love until the day you drop!"
Very accurate to Caleb's whole vibe! Especially considering that when he's going through a really rough time he will end up resorting to alcohol to keep his sanity. He's also a very caring and generous man and will do anything to keep his loved ones happy
"I promise I'll be all you'll need, ever need, you'll never have to shop around (don't shop around) and I'll give you all you'll ever need, ever need, don't worry I will never let you down, let you down, don't worry I will never let you down"
He's always wanting to keep everyone in his life as safe as possible, he also always tries to make sure that his loved ones always has everything they need, he's always super confident in himself when it comes to lovers.
"I graduated at the top, I like to take advantage of the bourgeoisie, so if you have a fantasy of being a queen, maybe you should blow a couple bucks on me"
This is actually super ironic! It's really funny because Caleb never actually graduated university or school (my memory wise)! He also doesn't have a lot of money and the most he can give you as a present is a flower he stole from someone's garden.
"Going once, going twice, every man here has a price. Over where? Over there, sold to not a single lady in here."
Very good lyric to associate with him! Because he's always the last one to be picked when it comes to relationships. He's also always trying his absolute hardest to get whatever crush he has to like him by doing the smallest of things for them even if it rarely ever works in the end.
In the end, this song is very him for not only these reasons but also because of the metaphor placed into the song itself. About a man wanting a certain lady and yet never being 'sold' to that woman, but when he is, he promises her that he will always love her no matter what happens. And I feel like that message is very him! AKA, me.

@darkwee009 :  I think it's a bit of a bummer they hype Gorgar up and it's all "Surprise! He was a recurring character all along!" And yeah, I didn't care much for the Twi puppet they used for her. Maybe its more because I'm spoiled by fan designs which look a lot better. But there's always the comics and I love to see the real Gorgar come by and is all "oh those ponies want to play dress up as me? Fine then...." and there's this big arc to stop him from getting his bell..
Tumblr media
           ||. my best piece of advice as far as the grogar/discord reveal goes is to give it some time. i know when i found out , i was a little disappointed myself. B U T because it took so long between the initial spoiler and me finding an english version of the finale (admittedly, leaked), by the time that i got around to watching The End, i could really appreciate what the writers were going for with the twist. frankly i find it incredibly clever and in-keeping with everyone’s characters. AND, like i said! gives us some HUGE potential grogar arcs in the comics!
      E S P E C I A L L Y WITH THAT BELL.

I spy with my little eye.... something about a Stardust River? :0
Can we get a little more information on what this river is, exactly? The purpose of it, why deities need to visit it, when or under what circumstances do they need to visit it?
Thank you! You AU is lovely and the interactions between Faun and everyone make me smile every time 💖
Ah, I as wondering when someone was going to ask about this! Especially given how important it is in this world’s lore. XD
To put it simply, the Stardust River serves multiple functions in this AU, the primary being to “recharge the deity’s batteries” so to speak. Compared to Twisted Wonderland and how magic functions there, in this universe the deities can’t just rest and regain their magic or cleanse the blot from their bodies—they need a little extra help!
With that tiny summary out of the way, here’s the main course and answer to your question! And yes, this will be mentioned and brought up throughout the AU so this will just help make things a little clearer. UvU
*~*~*~*~*~*~*
Believed to be the source of power for all deities, the Stardust River is quite possibly the oldest primal element and major source of magic remaining from the Age of the Divines. Those who possess deity blood (even if one is only half-mortal) are able to receive the benefits from drinking or swimming in the waters. The frequency in which a deity needs to visit the river varies as does the length of time they must spend in it depending on how much magic one possesses.
For example: Ace’s magic reserves compared to Riddle’s would be the equivalent of a gallon container versus a full-sized bath/hot tub. Meanwhile, Riddle’s reserves compared to Malleus’ would be the equivalent of a large pond or lake versus an entire ocean. What this means is that Ace would require far less time than Riddle in the river whereas Malleus would require far longer.
A visit to the sparkling river, however, doesn’t necessarily mean that they’ve used a lot of magic either. Much like blood in the human body, the magic circulates through theirs when in use. When not in use or overused, it can cause the magic to lose its potency and cause just as much harm as absorbing too much magic. Without that circulation, the old magic begins to “rot” and turn into a poison that can’t be filtered out by normal means. Being submerged allows the river to cleanse the blot caused by over and under usage.
One thing to note is how a deity can tell when they require a trip to the river. For them, it feels like a hunger or when one gets low blood sugar: becoming dizzy, nauseous, trouble focusing, etc. The hunger is like a craving for a type of food in humans, such as wanting something sweet or salty, which means it can’t be quenched until they go to the river or even have a drink from the river to tide them over until they can get the full exposure once more.
For mortals and half-mortals, however, the benefits from the river are minimal in comparison but can still be considered miraculous in some ways. Injuries such as broken bones or non-fatal wounds are healed at an accelerated rate whereas even a single drop ingested can ease and cure certain ailments. Despite its watery appearance though, it loses its magical properties if it goes too far from the source without a proper container. So far Lilia is the only known deity who was taught by the Heavenly One of Thorns how to craft a vial from one of the crystals found only in the river, though it’s not as if he will share this secret with the others and has only made a small handful—“for emergencies.”
Speaking of the crystals, one can find unique rocks and crystals that are either calcified or crystalized forms of star fragments or even solid chunks of magic itself. Think of them as the magic stones from Twisted Wonderland, except instead of finding them in a mine shaft you would find them along the edge or in the depths of the river. The best and most prized of these stones are found in the deepest parts of the river, though navigating it can be very difficult due to visibility issues and the fact that most who try wind up bobbing back up to the surface due to its nature—making it impossible to sink or drown in it.
There’s no need to fear any danger that may be lurking below though, as there is none—the only living creatures are bio-luminescent fish made from pure magic. Gentle and friendly, these creatures create a calming area of effect and help draw out blot or sickness from those who float in their home. Fun fact, but Silver tends to have a couple following him around as he makes his rounds in the realm of dreams!
Now you might be thinking: if the river and these fish can remove blot, wouldn’t they be able to heal the Withering Blot Curse? Well, you’d be right…to an extent. Given that it is a mortal-afflicting curse, most if not all of the mortals that fall to it have no deity blood in them, which means that their “circulatory system” that the fish are used to for removing the blot magic is not going to be easy to draw out compared to a deity. They can draw out some, but not all of it—which means it only delays the inevitable and prolongs the suffering.
But I digress.
While it’s still unknown just how much the river is capable of, another thing to note is how it connects the mortal realm with the deity realm. In fact, it connects all realms together: the mortal realm, the pantheons, and even other realities and dimensions. The latter is more or less glimpsed rather than traversed as very few even know how to locate these threads of reality, Che’nya being one such deity. One could say that this is how the deities can easily get to and from our world to their own. If that’s the case though, why wouldn’t it be just as easy for mortals to visit the pantheons of their own free will? Simple:
The stream or “bridge” from the mortal realm to the deity realms suffered from a cataclysmic event, forcing the deities to effectively destroy it and leaving only small pools. These pools can still be connected to their realms, though the deities have to protect each pool to prevent any mishaps. This can range from creating illusions that force the intruder to walk in a circle or avoid it without realizing it, or it’s protected by golems or guardians based on which deity created them. It is possible for a mortal to fall into the pool themselves, though they’d have to be very lucky or somehow have a certain blue-flamed chimera at their side.
That’s all I have for now! If ya’ll wanna know more, feel free to message or ask me to elaborate~! >w<
Also, this is a reminder that the deity AU event is still ongoing and I'm still accepting submissions! Link to the post is right here~! :D Deity AU Event Time!

Sorry to bother you, but I have a question. Do you have a headcanon either Sparkling and Cherry Blossom?
BOTH 🥺 since you say A headcanon I’ll pick one for each uvu Pretty lengthy ones bc I like elaborating sometimes :v
Sparkling Cookie and Cherry Blossom Cookie ! 👇
🥂Sparkling can be a difficult person to see through. As I mentioned before, he is skilled in acting for previously being a theatre kid at school. So it’s difficult to tell whether he’s being upfront or putting up a character. He’s still the charmer, level-headed and approachable cookie we know off of work! But he’s actually a man struggling to find self-worth and with an endless guilt of isolating himself from his family weighing him down, but also frustration because he doesn’t want to fee guilty. He enjoys parties because he gets the attention he’s craving, keeping up with the same act over and over again. Theres a reason why he seems to acquaint with Roguefort really well compared to his father and little sister. They don’t seem any different from eachother.
🌸Cherry Blossom and her family was previously a group of bounty hunters/assassins/demolitionists. Mostly against wild cake monsters that terrorizes the forest. It’s pretty rare when they’re ever call in for a specific hit. They were once toe-to-toe with Lilac and his family of assassins. (Awee yeah flower petal gang whaddup?) But eventually Cherry Blossom quit this practice and would rather invite locals from the forests for picnic events and have solo picnics in the kingdom itself. She is now Mary Poppins Cookie, no more girlboss assassin Cookie. Although she still has tension between herself and Lilac with a bit of previous affiliation with Yogurt Cream. (Ahem- he was somewhat her ex at some point.)
🥂🌸 Despite coming from sketchy backgrounds and they’re people you definitely didn’t expect them to be, they’re EXACTLY what you’d expect as a couple. Hand kisses, back hugs, it gets their days going! A lot of the time, Cherry Blossom drops off Sparkling’s meals for the day, breakfast, lunch, and dinner, etc.— She made it fresh every day and she figured he wouldn’t have time to cook for himself :’)!! Sadly its very rare for them to go on dates because Sparkling’s always so busy </3

please do make a list of Korean Isekai you’ve read, I’ve been wanting to get into them more 👀
And the word has been spoken
I was going to use images for each but tumblr only allows 10 or them 😑. Imma list all isekais/re incarnation webtoons that I personally recomend, a note though that last night I actually opened just a few more tabs with new ones to read so I may give this list an update later lol.
.
Long list bellow!
Doctor Elise
Not exactly my best recomendation seeing I kind of dropped reading it but I still go back from time to time. Main character is currently on her 3rd re incarnation and set on being a surgeon and making use of all her knowledge on earth. It's actually really interesting! Reason I dropped is more related to the romance, but that is simply out of my own personal preference and I don't consider it bad at all.
.
The Justice of Villanous Woman
Also dropped but it was actually because I missed too many updates and now I need to re read it jajdjxkwhdjskaj, it's not a WOW story but it's good, specially since the main character is pretending to act like a villainess (two faced on purpose) against the ACTUAL villainess who was just pretending to be nice. It was a really good twist.
.
La Dolche Vita di Adelaide
This one is actually completed! And it's really good too!! The female lead is very assertive and the male lead is one or those that can be pretty shy lol. It's a really nice read.
.
Reminiscence Adonis
Badass female lead that I would gladly let step on me. It's really good but I also dropped due to missing too many updates lololol. The main character and the male lead basically flirt with each other all the time later in the story it's ridiculous l o l o l o l.
.
The Abandoned Empress
Though I dropped due to it not being my cup of tea it may just be yours since although not my preference I can't deny the story is actually good. Female lead was done so much wrong to her in the past and is trying to change her destiny even against God.
.
Survive as The Hero's Wife
One of my favorites big time!!! Female lead is amazing and male lead is so. damn. cute I can't even. Also ART????? It's so damn pretty. Female lead re incarnated inside a novel, she makes a REALLY good use of all her knowledge.
.
They Say I Was Born a King's Daughter
Not gonna lie this is just one I read to pass the time. Entertaining enough though the story itself is, ???????. It takes a while to get used to the art style. Though I only find it mildly interesting, it can be really good to someone else. And I really cannot say that this one is in any way bad because it absolutely isn't. Prepare for frustration directly related to strong mysoginy though.
.
The Reason Why Raeliana Ended Up At The Duke's Mansion
Another one I dropped because I missed too many updates jshbdcjshejcksjenfoskjfjoa but it's really good and the main character basically takes to shit. Her main goal is scape death.
.
Miss Not-So Sidekick
This one is a very comedy centered one , I dropped due to the fact because updates are pretty damn slow I ended up loosing the track of the thing, what I am doing now is waiting for it to basically end so I can read it all in one sit. It's actually pretty good and the art style is very unique!
.
Suddenly Became a Princess One Day
ALL TIME FAVORITE OH MY GOD WITH EVERY UPDATE I LOSE ANOTHER YEAR OF MY LIFE SPAM. Just, just give it a go. The art is BEAUTIFUL, the characters extremelly well made, and the main character is just fucking great I love her.
.
I Was Born As The Demon Lord's Daughter
Another one I dropped due to slow updates that caused me to lose track;; But it's actually good! And the autor did the thing many don't do in these stories: have the main character actually be someone and give her a story that actually becomes reason of many of her actions and feelings in her current life. Also soft good Dad uvu.
.
The Emperor's Companion
This one was too frustrating so I ended up dropping but I can't deny it's good so I will recomend it. To wake up in a body of someone who was supposed to have a lot of responsability but has been in a coma basically all her life which resulted in her underlings going ape shit under corruption and now that she's awake she gotta fix it.
.
The Villainess Reverses The Hourglass
ANOTHER ALL TIME FAVORITE AND THE ART IS SO GOOD TOO. The main character is NOT pretending to be a villainess, she is straight up made of wrath and spite and is set on ruining those who ruined her first in her previous life.
.
The Duchess With an Empty Soul
So. Damn. Interesting!!!! The way the main character is portrayed wasn't something I have seen many do, and she's a badass!! Male lead is a good man uwu. Also it's one of those with 'marry me but don't expect love'.
.
A Stepmother's Marchen
One 👏 More 👏 Favorite 👏 the art is BEAUTIFUL, the characters are WELL MADE, and I just LOVE the interactions between them, be it from interactions I want to punch one of them in the face to interactions where I just am in love. Also OLD PEOPLE ARE DRAWN SO BEAUTIFULLY. The art in this one is just BEAUTIFUL and I really can't even-
.
Beware of The Brothers!
Same creator as Suddenly Became a Princess One Day, only this one is actually deal with a lot more, serious (?), subjects in which one(just a single one) of them was the reason I dropped. But in fact, said subject is currently being really well fucking written, so although not my cup of tea, it definetelly deserves a chance.
.
Beware of The Villainess!
I KNOW many of you know this one and I KNOW all of you also love the female lead, the blue werewolf, the *cough* lesbian *cough* heroine and the maid. I love them too. It's a REALLY good one and it also is one of my all time favorites. Be ready to want to kill some guys though lol.
.
Lucia
Just- just read it. It's GOOD. And recent updates just started going deeper. Please. It's good, I promise-
.
The Evil Lady Will Change
It's also pretty damn good and also has the thing with 'marry me but don't expect love'. Both female and male lead are actually pretty good guys but their reputation was twisted so now they are seen as villanious like in public eye.
.
Priscilla's Marriage Request
Powerful female lead that is set on avoiding the outcomes of her previous life. But of course, once one manages to change the course of the previous story a new one starts, and in that new one she won't have her previous knowledge for it. Also she has a crush on the male lead ever since her previous life l o l.
.
This is an Obvious Fraudulent Marriage
Female lead is quite oblivious and the male lead only becomes better with time. The female lead may throw a few tauntruns but they're never annoying. I really like this one.
.
I Became The Villain's Mother
Also dropped because of slow updates, to be reborn as the mother in a family of villains and trying to give them the love they lacked. Both father and son and little shits.
.
The Villain's Saviour
Though the fact that the female lead cries way too much is a bit annoying, the story is so damn interesting. Male lead is basically a literal psychopath. The drama is off the charts too, specially since this one also makes use of Soulmate Marks.
.
Beatrice
One more on the list of dropped because of slow updates so now I am waiting for it to basically end so I can read it all in one sit. The fact she is insekaid is only shown at chapter 4 nsksjxksnekxjasfo, it's a good one though.
.
IRIS - Lady With a Smarthphone
Although I wish they would have actually focused more on the fact that she has a phone and put it to more use, it's actually a really interesting story in which the female lead is aiming to destroy everything related to all the pain she faced in her past life, and she is being very through with it.
.
The Youngest Princess
Badass female lead re incarnated in the same world so it's not isekai but it's very much re incarnation. Family interactions are great in this one lolololol, female lead is really good as a character. I have re read this one quite a few times though it's still very much only on the beggining of the whole thing.
.
The Duchess' 50 Tea Recipes
Came for the isekai, stayed for the female lead's obsession with tea to the point you could make memes about it. Poor male lead losing his position to TEA. It's in all honestly one of my all time favorites and though it is very focused on tea, it's very entertaining as it deals with other subjects too. It's so amazing how some problems were actually solved with tea. Very recomended.
.
Chitra
When you are reborn in a world that of all game functions it has decided to be GATCHA. It's really damn good though and the art is hella great, extra plus for comedy material lololololol.
.
The Villainess Lives Twice
Female lead is very particular, she isn't nice but she isn't necessarily evil, her actions are pretty manipulative due to it being all she has ever known and she uses herself as a mere tool to have others achieve their goals, automatically achieving her own goals. I just find the way she works really interesting as she goes against those who ruined her in the past.
.
A Capable Maid
Not really isekai nor re incarnation but I felt the need to put it here due to the fact that not only it is great but also due to the fact that the female lead had visions of several times in history that has helped her in many tasks.
.
A Returner's Magic Should Be Special
Now I'm not sure if it's korean but I love it so it's here. This time we have a male main character, it's really damn good and I read it all first in one sit. Main character went back in time before apocalypse right after he just destroyed the cause of said apocalypse in the future. Now he is aiming to avoid the apocalyspe alltogether and make sure his loved ones stay alive and well this time around.
.
The Pet of The Villainess
This one is so damn interesting, seriously. It destroyed so many too often used tropes in these kinds of webtoons and its PERFECT. I seriously recomend it just from the fact it takes a completelly different approach to many now "cliches" in these kind of webtoons.
.
Please Throw Me Away
Another interesting one, male lead is a huge puppy in love with a distrustfull cat female lead. Her family is shit and I would pay to have them destroyed. Have I said the male lead is a huge fucking puppy.
.
Actually, I Was The Real One
When you are accused of being fake and sentenced to death only to be told by the fake herself that you were actually the real one all this time. Main characters has no socializing habilities and it's cute lol, she is doing her best. This time she is making sure to try to avoid the same ending, and searching to know why she was brought back in time.
.
I Became The Hero's Mom
This girl took stanning to the next level and decided that no, since now I have the chance I will make sure my favorite character grows up as a happy child being loved and smiling instead of suffering. Male lead is the dad and he is so fucking great.
.
A Young Lady is a Royal Chef
This one is pretty centered in food as the title says, it's pretty new so the story hasn't gotten a chance to fully develop just yet but it's still interesting enough to keep me hooked.
.
When The Villainess Loves
B O I, I DIDN'T EXPECT TO LOVE IT BUT I DID AND HAVE RE READ IT MANY TIMES AND I NEED MORE UPDATES AAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA. Anyways this can actually manage to hurt your feelings with "fake angst" and I give kudos to that lolololol. The male characters are killing me seriously, they're too cute, then too hot, then too cute, THEN TOO HOT, BUT THEN S O C U T E-
.
I've Become The Villanious Empress of a Novel
Also one fairly new to the point the story hasn't fully developed yet, I really like it solely for the fact the female lead is now on the road to fix the bullshit around her. She's also a badass I would gladly let step on me.
.
Shadow Queen
A big FUCK YEAH to this one because the main character deserves it. After dying to a very thought out plan and even having her son killed, she is now planning on turning the tables and ruining the ones making the plan from inside. She is amazing and I love her pls read.
.
The Lady and The Beast
Honestly this one is both comedy gold and angsty at the same time the mix of feelings makes me go jshejdhsowjebfoshexiwnnfso, it's so hella great though, it's also basically new but it has developed it's story quite a bit.
.
This Girl is a Little Wild
And to finish this list on a gold but sad key, this one is also one of my all time favorite, the female and male lead are adorable and ridiculous together and I love them, the main character is so likeable and the plot has so many puzzles but, rumor says the original creator has dropped this, thought it is sad I hope said creator is okay, even incompleted it's still a really damn good read.

Hello Tumblr. You get to hear my rant on the topic of Tommy on Dream Smp UvU
First off, I mean like just plot/character Tommy, not the funny stream bits in between that lighten the mood so just a warning xD
Tommy is a child who has gone through multiple wars, giving up so much for nothing in return in the long run. He learned how to live in war times, not peace.
Everyone else seems to have a sense of what peaceful times are like but Tommy doesn’t. He doesn’t understand what it’s like not to be at war. That’s the sad thing though, no one understands that he doesn’t know what it’s like. They all think he’s being difficult but he just doesn’t understand.
Now the thing is, this child hasn’t had even one second of peace and you can’t convince me otherwise.
He was going to finally get some peace and have everyone with him when Schlatt gained control. The thing is why was he exiled alongside Wilbur? What specifically had he done to deserve that?
Tommy is a child. And I don’t mean that in any way of being mean. He literally has not had the same experience as other. Same for Tubbo but he seems to have been through things Tommy had not.
Seriously think about it. Why out off all the people that worked against Schlatt was Tommy the one sent away? Was it just bad luck? Probably. But that one bad flip of a coin is what’s lead to everything else that has happened.
Out of every person that had more authority than him, he was the one to be exiled and that is not only jarring but could have greatly settled the thought process he has that he has to fight 24/7 to protect what he loves.
The one time Tommy gets a break is in the ravine he watches his brother go insane in. He spends all the time he should be relaxing and learning to cope after a war, plotting the downfall of a government.
Tommy had one glimpse of peace for it to be taken away. And no one did anything about it. They watched it happened or helped take it away. The only ones that actively tried to help? Techno and Wilbur.
Think about it.
Yes, Wilbur was going insane, but he was only trying to do what was best for the two of them, even after he had given up on L’Manberg, he never gave up on Tommy.
Techno, who had no real reason to get involved with any of this (yeah I know he would get to take down a government, but they already tend to do that themselves so he had no real reason to help), joined Wilbur and Tommy. And he stuck with them until the end, even trying to persuade them to try and not make anymore governments as they had only hurt Tommy so far.
Sure Tubbo was there as well, but he was technically working for Schlatt, and you can’t tell me Tommy didn’t think about what Wilbur had said to him a million times a million different ways. It was just the two of them.
And that one line by Alivebur that has just been proven true. That if Tubbo had the chance he would drop them. And he did. He left Tommy with a ghost that is a constant remind, not only of everything that has happened to him, but that no one really cared about why he had fought in the first place.
Wilbur had been right. Tubbo chose others over him. And now it was just the two of them again. With one thing the same. Techno was there too. He had been there the first time, and he’s still there this time.
Tommy doesn’t think he has anyone to trust. He thinks Wilbur planned this since he chose Tubbo. Tubbo betrayed him. He blames Techno for lots of things. He blames Dream and Schlatt a lot too.
He has never had a peaceful moment and is punished for it. He's angry, sad, betrayed...
And I honestly can’t blame him for anything.
He’s only done what others have told him, sure a little louder and more vulgar than intended, but he’s done them. The one time he doesn’t to try and gain one of the many things he’s lost thanks to listening to others, he looses even more.
Basically, Tommy is one of the only people in that world that has genuinely only done something for the good of others. He has only once acted selfishly and paid way too steep a price.
Techno knows this as well. He hinted that if Tommy wanted the disks, then he was working with the wrong people to get them back. The only person Tommy has not worked with is Techno.
L’Manberg betrayed him. The Badlands wants war. Dream Smp has caused most the problems. Literally anyone he has worked with has only used him for their benefit before leaving him.
I feel, if Wilbur hadn’t died and instead regained sanity, he would have sided with Tommy. Especially with the way he acknowledged the fact that Tommy has done nothing but sacrifice for others.
I got very off topic.
Point of this was that Alivebur has been right about everything so far, even if he was insane when he said most of the stuff.
Techno has also been right with the whole Theseus/Hero connection.
However, those two are also the only ones that haven’t ever betrayed Tommy.

Q:
Where does a ghost go on vacation?
Tumblr media
Shinsou Hitoshi had never been one for leaving his house. Life was already stressful enough, he would much rather stay within the comfortable confines of this nice house he worked hard to pay rent for when he could take a break. Even with dismay from his parents and relentless invitation from his friends, he still turned them down with an obviously fabricated excuse every time. He had everything he needed here. If he could, he would not take one step out that door at all which was ironic because now that he really had no reason and no choice to leave the house, he would give anything just to even poke his head out of these four walls.
Contrary to popular belief, you could never really quite feel your death. Of course, there was this short period of struggling in his case, together with the pain that slowly spread through his body and the numbness that followed suit. But all in all, it really felt like he was just slipping into a heavy curtain, free-falling onto a large bed with a mattress that let your entire body sank in until your consciousness was just floating onto of the pillows.
He had yet to register that he was already dead when his eyes snapped open again until he realised that he had forgotten to breathe and it really didn’t matter to him anymore. There really was no existential crisis that could compare to what he felt when he looked down to see his own body lying on the ground.
Such a ghastly sight, he would much rather not think about now that it was long gone.
He had wondered what life after death would be like anyone else but in all honesty, it was very underwhelming. There was no guidebook, no reaper showing up to collect his soul, nothing but him in an empty house. He could not leave the damn house no matter how hard he tried. Every time he stepped out the door or leap out the window frame, he would always end up right back at the spot where he took his final breath like some cruel joke, and eventually, he gave up. Not that he had any other choice.
No one wanted to move into a house where someone had recently died there and during the time of the house’s vacancy, Shinsou had set his mind to test the limits to his newfound existence as a spiritual being. In his little quest to self-actualisation, he had discovered several things. He could pass through things, which was fun and he spent a good amount of time poking his head into random objects for a while. Making himself tangible took longer for him to grasp, but eventually, he came to the realisation that the key to it was to not think too much about it and just do it like he would if he was alive. He still had his senses to some degree, but things that would bother him when he was alive, like the feeling of fire right below his palm per se (yes he tried that too, it was not like he could die twice anyways), did not have much of an effect on him now that he wasn’t. People appeared to be unable to see him, much to his delight after realising that none of the passersby saw him standing in front of the window for several hours like some cheap cgi from a b-movie.
He was still pretty pissed that he could not float. But hey, who knows, maybe he would unlock that skill later on after he jumped off the table for enough times.
What he had concluded after a while was that being dead was boring. He had all the time in the world but there was no cable or internet so binging whatever show he never got around to pick up while he was alive was not an option. Besides, it would probably stir up quite the panic if the neighbours heard the sound of people talking coming from the supposedly empty house. He did, however, picked up several new hobbies. He learned how to play the grand piano that was left here in the living room by the last owner. He always played it as quietly as he could, he would be in so much trouble if people picked up the faint music at night. It was hard figuring out the notes and scales on his own but with the amount of time he had, eventually he got to the point where what he played sounded somewhat decent. He also discovered a stack of vinyls and a record player covered with cobwebs stuffed at the back of the attic, one of which was an audio tutorial on how to waltz that was from god knows how long ago. Shinsou had never seen himself as the waltzing type of person, but when you were a ghost who was bored out of his mind, anything you could get your hands on was worth a try.
He stopped counting how long it had been since he died at some point, burying himself within the keys of the piano and stumbling to figure out how to practice each step without a partner. For a while, he felt like he didn’t quite mind spending his eternity like that.
Then one day, the door swung to show a woman with a large smile on her face and a couple that looked like they would die if they did so little as took their arm out of the others’ walked in.
Turned out, people would eventually forget about the young man who died tragically in the house as time passed and land got more expensive. The new owner of the house was a newly wedded couple, according to what the wife said giddily to the real estate agent. Shinsou watched from a corner of the living room as the agent handed them the key, sighing as he realised that his silence in the house would never be restored.
For a while, he felt like he could get used to this. Both the wife and the husband would leave for work in the day, giving him the personal space that he desperately needed. They would come back at dawn together, carrying bags of groceries and laughing as they walked in. Shinsou had no part in it, but he decided that if he never got to have a family of his own then being happy for the residents of this place he was stuck in was the closest he would get. He liked listening to the couple talk over dinner, smiling and nodding his head as if they could see him at all. Was it lonely that he was in a world of his own despite watching people around him carry on with their life like he had never been in this place at all? Kinda, but Shinsou figured that he didn’t mind it all too much. At least these people were happy, and there could be nothing more tragic than being stuck with a miserable family in the house he could never leave.
Until one day, he picked up that the couple stopped kissing each other goodbye before leaving the door in the morning. Until that evening when he realised that they stopped coming home together. He saw it all too clearly, the outsider that could go through walls that the living could not see through, and he was worried that this peace would not last much longer.
Until that one night, when he thought that the husband and wife went back to their old ways as he heard the laughing from outside the door only to feel his heart drop when he noticed how that woman giggling sounded nothing like the wife.
They didn’t even bother going into the bedroom, immediately all over each other the moment the front door was clicked. Shinsou curled up at the corner of the attic that night, pretending that if he heard nothing, then whatever was going on in the living room right now never happened at all.
The wife still wasn’t back the next morning and against his better judgment, he took a lipstick out of the woman’s bag and put it somewhere he knew for sure the wife would see.
He wasn’t sure if he had done the right thing when he saw tears streaming down the wife’s face after finding the unfamiliar lipstick that was clearly not hers. He stood and watched as she slammed the door, her cries and screams still echoing through the house even after she left.
Shinsou decided that he would never meddle with the living again when he saw the man broke down sobbing, while he could only stand there and wonder if it would have been better if he was never there at all.
The couple that wasn’t quite a pair anymore moved out soon after that, and Shinsou was left to his own device in an empty house again. It was funny how things could be cleared out so fast and as the man locked the door for the last time, it was like they were never there at all. All the pictures and tiny knick-knacks that made the house alive were gone, with only empty spots on the walls.
Sometimes when Shinsou sat in silence at night,, staring at the vacant spots around a house that was too big for one lonely ghost, he felt like he was never there too.
The next occupant of the house he died in was a family of three. He watched through the windows on the second floor as the truck pulled up and an excited child ran towards the door. He could hear the laughing from the parents even through the thick walls. Shinsou was never one for children, they were too noisy and too unexpected. He sighed, watching as the dad picked the child up to twist the doorknob, the sound of innocent blabbering immediately filling the house up right as the lock clicked.
He didn’t really think that these people would make much change in his routine, it was not like they would notice him anyways. He nearly felt the blood that wasn’t there retreating from his face when his eyes met with the young son of the family, the way his round eyes slowly widens told him the one thing that he was most afraid of.
The kid could see him.
He was expecting the child to scream, to run to his parents, or cry even. But he didn’t, much to his surprise. Perhaps the child mistook him as one of his imaginary friends that happened to be a lot more real and a lot less imaginary? He would never know. You know children, you could never really quite understand how their world works after you grew up.
The house was alive again, and Shinsou felt like he could get used to this, for real this time. The kid didn’t annoy him as much as he thought he would, and there were times when he didn’t even notice the smile on his face as he watched the boy ran to his parents to show them things he was proud of. They were good parents, Shinsou thought from his childless young adult perspective.
He liked the kid, as wild as it sounded. He admitted that the young resident of the house was a cute kid, round eyes and wide smile, hair always tangled up in a mess quite like his own. There were times when he would creep down the stairs behind the adults’ back and when he placed a finger on his lips to signal the boy to not say anything, the child always had a hard time biting back a chuckle, shaking his head as his eyes sneakily followed the ghost’s figure.
The boy found a sense of pride in knowing something that his parents didn't, the purple-haired roommate was his friend and his friend only, a tiny secret that he shared with the young ghost who always gave him a thumbs up when he held up his drawings to thin air much to his guardian’s confusion.
Shinsou assumed that one day, as the kid grew up, he would stop being able to see him like the other adults. The idea made him feel lonely sometimes, but he was alright with it. If he never got to have a kid of his own, he supposed watching someone else’s grow up would be the closest thing he would ever get from having a family of his own.
For a while, he really thought that things would be set this time around and he would not have to be alone for a long time coming. Until that night when everyone was asleep upstairs and he being the ghost he was, decided to indulge in his ghostly lack of need for sleep to lounge around the living room, heard a rattling at the door lock.
He froze in horror when the door crept open and a masked man walked in, very careful with each movement and making no noises even though the wooden floor had a tendency to creak with the lightest of steps.
This felt all too similar. Someone breaking in at the depths of the night while everyone was asleep, unaware of the danger lurking just steps below. He could feel his blood curl at the familiar unfolding of events, and seeing the man snooped around made him recall the feeling of seeing his own dead body much to his dismay.
He thought of the parents, the good people who were just trying to live their lives. He remembered the child, so young and with so much potential, and the wide grin on his face. He had hoped to see him grow up, to see how he would look like years later when he got taller. His fingers trembled when he thought of what could happen to the family, of how they might end up just like him.
Shinsou clenched his jaw, hands clutching both in anger and in fear. The same thing was happening but something was different, this time he was here. Nothing would happen to the family as long as he was around, and he was bound to be around for a very long time.
The house was big, but one ghost haunting it was more than enough.
The mom screamed when she saw a man lying on the floor unconscious the next morning, with hardcover books and kitchenware all over the floor. The man was still alive, she realised after checking his pulse gingerly and woke her husband. The mask and the many tools in his belt hinted that whoever this strange man was, he was definitely not there for friendly inquiries. The couple was shocked and confused as to what happened for the burglar to be there, especially after looking around to see that no valuables were missing.  As for the child, he was barely awake as he made way down the stairs, rubbing his eyes when he saw the many people in his living room. He did not know what was going on but daddy and mommy looked very serious so he did the smart thing and left the scene, going to see if the purple boy wanted to see his new lego set instead.
The family moved out of the house as expected, you could not call somewhere home if you didn’t even feel safe in it. The child cried when his parents told him that they were moving, knowing that this meant leaving his new friend behind. Shinsou did not have the heart to say anything when the child strike up a conversation with him the first time, asking if purple boy could move with them too. Shinsou wanted to lie and say that he would be there with him, but he knew that it was better to not hurt the child even more when he would eventually realise that the ghost was nowhere to be found in his new home.
The kid was the only one who looked back before the family walked out of the door. Shinsou put on his widest smile and waved, despite really really wanting to cry.
The house was left unoccupied for a long while which made sense, murder and robbery didn’t exactly sound the most appealing. Shinsou had decided that he liked it better this way, no one around meant no one to get attached to. This time, even if someone did move in eventually, he was determined to not stick his head into a world he didn’t belong in. The living come and go, but he could not leave no matter how much he wanted to and he did not necessarily want to go through that again.
He was pretty content with being alone, now being able to carry on with his newfound hobby of waltzing (badly) and playing the piano in minimum volume. Shinsou had a strong feeling that he was better of spending the rest of his eternity like that with no one around to disturb him.
And then you showed up.
You were unlike any other who moved into the house, the only one who was alone, much like him back when he stepped into those doors with a pulse. You were curious when you first walked inside, looking around in interest as if you had no idea what the house looked like prior. You intrigued him, someone closed to his age and bright-eyed, twinkling in interest when you saw something that you liked and scrunched your brows together when you didn’t. Poking your head through each doorway and quickly leaving to see the other rooms, mumbling under your breath about how one person could use so many rooms which he absolutely agreed.
Shinsou felt a weird emotion bubbling up in him when he saw that of all the rooms you could pick from, you settled moving your stuff into the one that he used to sleep in.
Perhaps it was because you were young and single and very much so on your own, he felt way more of a need to respect your space than he did with all the previous residents of the house. There were many times when he stopped himself in the tracks as he was about to pass through the bathroom to get to another place, knowing that you were in there from the sound of water running. You were completely unaware of his struggles as you lounged around with shorts and thin thin crop tops, all sprawled out on the couch while the ghost was scolding himself to just take his eyes off you and look somewhere else. He was dead, but he was still young and filled with hot blood(?) no less and the fact that you looked so lovely with your hair wet and waist showing under the loose shirt did not help his plan to not pay attention to you at all.
But all inner struggles aside, you just seemed like a nice person to be around in general. He was always peaking behind you to see what you were reading when you were leisurely sipping your coffee on sunday mornings, slightly shocked and very approving when he saw that you had discovered some of his old books in the attic. You were the only person to notice that well-hidden trap door down the hallway, and he couldn’t help but smile when he saw you beamed in delight as you found the stack of records. He convinced himself that it was just his own loneliness talking and that he was only feeling that way because it had been too long since he came across someone his age, but something about the way you laughed when you were on the phone with your friends or the little dance you did when you were waiting for the water to boil made his heart flustered in a way he didn’t know ghosts could.
He wished he could talk to you.
His world was flipped upside down when you saw him for the first time. There were many times before when you would look past him, staring right past his ghostly existence, but he felt shivered running down his spine when you actually looked at him.
Wonderful, he thought to himself as he froze in place, not knowing how to react as your eyes meet, there is no way they’re gonna stay knowing that I’m here.
It seemed like the living had once again outdone his expectations. You stayed in the house, much to his shock and delight, and you had started talking to him. He was very tempted to reply every time you greet him in the morning but refrained from doing so, remembering what happened the last time he interacted with the living. You had taken the liberty to test out different ways to provoke a reaction out of him, leaving sticky notes and pens around the house, going far enough to prepare food for him even though he never really sat down at the table.
He thought you would give up eventually but you didn’t, and his will to steer distance from you was slowly faltering.
The first time he did something for you was out of instinct, you forgot to take your clothes out of the washing machine and it was making him anxious because he had made the same mistake before, nothing could compare to the annoyance of having to do your laundries again. Your mouth hang open when you sprinted down to the kitchen after sleeping past your alarm to see your clothes spinning in the dryer, turning your head to see Shinsou sitting on the kitchen counter, looking anywhere but you as if he did nothing.
He could not forget how happy you looked as you thanked him, and he knew he was gone for.
You seemed to accept that you had a roommate and he was a ghost. Casually asking for his opinion on things despite never getting a spoken response. Your casual acknowledgment of his existence only made things more difficult for him. There were many times when he would think about you in a way that was everything but innocent while you were deep in slumber in the other room, his room. He could touch you if he just walked through the door and reached out, but he always managed to pull back before doing something he knew he would regret. He liked you far too much to risk driving you away and he would just have to handle this frustration himself.
He imagined the way you would sound as he caressed you when he reached down to palm himself through the fabric.
He was doing so well, pushing away any impure thoughts and acting as gentlemanly as he could in giving you space you rightfully deserved. But when he heard a moan from your room that one night, something inside him snapped. He stood in front of your door, the last bit of self-control pulling him back as the sound of your rapid breaths and wet noises which he did not need to make a guess to know its source filled his ears.
You sounded even more heavenly than he had imagined, and he could feel his own arousal building up.
You knew he was here and still decided to went through with it, knowing that there was a chance he would notice. Then it must have meant that you wanted it to happen, right? Right?
He waited for you to object, to scream, to push him away when he climbed over your naked form, soaking in your body that was displaying wanton lust as clear liquid leaked from your cunt all over the sheets, but you didn’t. Your pupils were diluted as he stared at you, face flushed and filled with desire.
He took your silence as permission to keep going, and he did not miss the way you mewled when he gripped your wrist.
“Let me take care of that.”
He finally did what he wanted and talked to you, along with many other things that he had only dreamt of doing.
“Ouch! You’re stepping on my foot!”
A yelp broke him out of his haze and he snapped back when you hit his shoulder. You had moved the record player down to the living room under his request and right now, soft music was playing as he held you in his arms, one hand on your waist and the other holding yours.
“You were the one who suggested we do this so you better focus.” You sent him a glare and he smiled apologetically.
“For someone who said they have been learning how to waltz for quite some time now,” you hissed when he hit your toe once again, “you are really bad at this.”
“Don’t blame it on me,” he said pulling you close to him until his cheek was right against yours, “never had a partner to practice with.”
You snorted, mumbling something about him playing the dead card every time. He grinned, feet moving clumsily in unison with yours in each step as he gently swayed you.
You stumbled when he suddenly twirled you around, clicking your tongue in mock judgment before he eased your scrawl with a light peck on the lips.
You sighed. “Good thing we have plenty of time to get better at this.”
Shinsou smiled, thinking that he had finally found a way and someone to spend all this time he had never asked for.
“Yeah,” he said in between kisses, enjoying your warmth as you hook your arms around his neck, “plenty of time.”

I’ve been hanging onto this idea for a good while cuz I didn’t have my designs fully nailed down until now, but here’s a “part 2″ of sorts to my limbo au! The first half of the au (as seen in this post) takes place in limbo, while this new second half takes place in heaven UvU I’m gonna drop a summary below of the full au that includes the new stuff ;o
Basically how this au starts out is that when a fusion splits, their soul is sent to limbo since they have no body of their own and have nowhere else to go. Without a physical form to ground it, the soul is malleable, susceptible to the energies of limbo and undergoes changes of how it manifests itself. Vegito’s transformation was exacerbated/accelerated through him feeding on other creatures in limbo despite him not actually needing to eat. Since potara fusion is never used again after Vegito’s birth, Vegito is essentially abandoned and left fully vulnerable/constantly exposed to limbo’s effects.
When Gogeta comes along, metamoran fusion is utilized more frequently, so Gogeta isn’t lingering long enough to undergo his own changes, so he remains normal in appearance. Gogeta is Vegito’s only companion in limbo, so Vegito latches on to him like a lifeline, and is always distraught whenever Gogeta disappears for a fusion, only relieved when they reunite after the 30-minute time limit
At one point, Gogeta disappears for a fusion but never returns, having been killed in the heat of battle. Since he died in a physical body, Gogeta is granted access to heaven and becomes an angel. His soul is split from Goku and Vegeta’s via dragon balls; Goku and Vegeta are revived, but Gogeta remains in the afterlife since he wasn’t specified in the wish. Gogeta then starts going around seeking aid, hoping to find a way to reunite with Vegito, but most people he talks to refuse to help him, believing that whatever is in limbo deserves to stay there.
Cut to many years later, Goku and Vegeta are long dead and roaming the afterlife as they please, and Gogeta finally finds a solution to bring Vegito to him. Said solution involves Goku and Vegeta giving up their physical forms to give to Vegito, given that they’re his fusion components and Vegito can’t cross over from limbo without a body to inhabit. In the process, Goku and Vegeta giving up their forms will lead to them being reincarnated into new lives back on earth (aka Goku Jr. and Vegeta Jr. from the end of GT, those kids are too damn similar to not be reincarnations lmao XD). It’s an EXTREMELY hard sell, Gogeta eventually threatening that they OWE this to Vegito, that they abandoned him and left a kind soul to rot in such an awful place
Once Gogeta gets them to agree, then begins the process of pulling Vegito over via a rip/portal between limbo and heaven. When Vegito is brought through, his long-standing mutation from limbo impacts his new form, thus making him into a mutant variant of a heavenly angel. While Vegito is thrilled to finally be reunited with Gogeta, he laments the fact that he still isn’t “normal”. Some days he’s perfectly fine, enjoying his time with Gogeta, but other days he has a tendency to slip into depressive spells and grieve over the permanent loss of normalcy, to which Gogeta steps in and reminds him that he loves him no matter what, that he’s fine just the way he is UvU
I had a lot of fun designing this new form for Vegito ^v^ I took elements from seraphim (the 6 wings) and ophanim (the rings with eyes) since I thought they looked super cool, and of course what eldritch Vegito design of mine doesn’t have a nightmare mouth embedded in his face lol XD This mouth is a little different than the other ones I’ve put on other designs, considering he can actually hide it and it’s only visible when he opens it. He doesn’t have a proper “normal” mouth and his voice comes out in an ambient sort of echo, so the only things his hidden mouth can do is be terrifying, eat things, and give Gogeta tongue kisses cuz he gotta kiss his mans somehow (this IS a gogito au after all) XDD

daichi x female reader where they both had a crush on each other in hs but never let the other know (but everyone else knew heh). she didn't want to distract him from volleyball and he was scared she would reject him since a lot of other guys liked her. now they're both out of college and single and run into each other!
Daichi x Reader
an absolutely precious request!!! thanks for the idea and I hope you enjoy it uvu (i decided to make them freshman at university in this fic, just fyi)
a/n: aghh I love Daichi so much. the first words that come to mind when i think of him are “warm, genuine, and protective.” here’s some campus cuteness!! i tried to do a bulleted list, but got carried away and wrote a short one-shot heh <3
warnings: none, read freely!
wc: 1950
---
There are two kinds of people: Those who don’t fear rejection and those that do. Unfortunately, you and Daichi both fell into the latter category.
From the moment Daichi laid eyes you, he couldn’t take them off of you. The scrunched up face you make when you laugh, the empathetic glance you gifted someone with when they scored a bad grade on a test, and the sweet smile you would shoot his way if he ever caught your gaze.
It got his heart racing, bearing a side of him no one had seen before. It was an aching mixture of the protective feeling he got when furiously defending his team on the court and the overwhelming joy he drowned in after a volleyball victory.
Both fiery and vulnerable.
You on the other hand hadn’t noticed Daichi until your 2nd year.
Yeah, you were both in the same year, but your classes never seemed to match up so he didn’t stick out to you. Your infatuation with the boy truly began at a practice game against a guest team in the Karasuno gym. You’d only gone to appease a friend, but Daichi hooked you immediately. His voice deep, full of command and confidence. You so admired his ability to control the spirit of the court and it was thrilling to witness his powerful, fearless receives.
He’s also built. Just sayin.
The both of you were hooked on each other, but there were a couple of problems.
First, you knew how much he loved volleyball. The way his eyes lit up at the sight of the court would give anyone chills. You couldn’t bear to distract him even in the slightest with some kind of confession. It felt obvious that rejection would be in your future if you even tried to ask him out, something you would be nervous about even if volleyball weren’t an obstacle.
Second, the confidence that Daichi exuded on the court didn’t fully translate outside of it. He knew that so many guys were after you. You’re absolutely gorgeous, talented, and witty, able to make an entire class laugh. Traits that any guy would be lucky to find in a girl. So it wasn’t a surprise that half the team, half the school really, thought you were cute. Daichi wasn’t sure he could stand up to that. Even with Asahi and Sugawara’s attempts to convince Daichi that you definitely liked him back, he didn’t want to risk it.
“Daichi-san, what’s the worst that could happen?” Asahi pushes, “You do realize that she always cheers for your number right? She’s always looking your way in class and on the court.”
Sugawara huffs, “I would have asked her out myself if it weren’t for your stupid crush.” Daichi sends a sharp glare at Suga, making him snicker through his signature smile.
It was clear that the two of you had a crush on each other, but timing really is everything. Daichi had to focus on finding his confidence off the court. You needed your own wake up call: the freedom to make your feelings known without fearing the outcome.
---
Flash forward to your Freshman year at university. Spring brought cherry blossoms and fresh feelings, contrasting perfectly with the dreary Winter months you’d just escaped from. You wish you’d worn an extra layer, but you’re simply stuck with a thin, long sleeve shirt today. The 1st semester of college went by quickly, not leaving you much time to make friends or establish a social life in general, but you were determined to make the 2nd semester memorable.
You decided to join a study group that met regularly at the library. It’s pretty early in the new year, so you didn’t expect many people to show up, so you tried not to get your hopes up. The chilly air outside made you walk a little faster up the concrete stairs. Taking a deep breath to calm your heart rate, you reach for the grand wooden door to the library. Finding the meeting room wasn’t difficult, but what you didn’t expect was to be the only one there. So you wait a while, pulling out your books and holding out hope. You weren’t banking on any more surprises, but wow you’re about to be in for a real treat.
Daichi peers in through the door window to the meeting room only to see the back of a girl's head. He sighs, I’ve probably got the wrong room, but decides to check with her just in case.
He cracks open the door, “Excuse me, is this the… uhhh…” You turned your head toward the male, your (h/c) hair whipping around with it. Both of you do a bit of a double take, eyes widening in recognition.
“You- you’re Daichi, right?” You asked, your eyes bright with silent excitement and cheeks getting pinker by the second.
“Ah yeah, hey! Y/n?” He responds, scratching the back of his head with his own dimpled smile.
You smile wider at his remembrance, “That’s me!” You both turn to look around the room, unsure what to do next. You decide to add, “But apparently it’s just me,” you laugh a little, “I don’t think anyone’s gonna be showing up anytime soon either, sorry.”
“I don’t mind!” He says a bit too eagerly. “I mean, um. I was honestly just looking for someone to hangout with anyways.” He straightens up, doing his best to be honest about his appearance.
“Ah, me too actually. I had a long semester and I still don’t really… know anybody.” You tilt your head cutely, but you can’t help but sound a little down about it.
Daichi just nods in understanding. “It hasn’t exactly been eventful for me either. Sugawara and Asahi are both at different universities, so it’s odd not knowing anyone at all.” You sigh and nod back.
He takes a moment to think, face getting a little flushed at his idea. There’s a coffee shop a couple blocks off of campus… and judging by the lack of faces, there won’t be a meeting here today.
“Hey, y/n, would you want to maybe walk to get a coffee with me? My treat of course.” He offers while adjusting the sleeves of his black, fuzzy jacket, doing his best to hide any hint of nervousness in his voice.
Your heart starts to beat faster. It’s not a date. It’s not a date. It’s not a date… but wait it kinda is? I mean he’s paying?
You let yourself stare off for a moment too long without saying anything and Daichi puts a hand behind his head, with an apologetic look. “Hey, no worries if you don’t want to, just thought I’d offer. I feel like we might have some stuff in common.”
“No, no, I’d love to! Really. Just let me pack up my books and we can get going.” You turn to pack up your book bag, collecting the papers you let loose and gathering stray pens. Daichi waits patiently in the doorway, secretly freaking out a little that you actually want to go get coffee with him??
You both make your way out of the room, back out the door, and onto the brick path toward the cafe.
One look at you and Daichi can tell that you’re shivering from the biting wind chill. “Are you gonna be okay, y/n? You look cold.”
“A-ah no I’m okay, j- just kind of chilly.” Your teeth chatter through the entire sentence, all of your lying creds dropping way down.
Before you can stop him, Daichi is shaking off his big, cozy jacket, grabbing your book bag from you, and placing the coat over your shoulders.
It’s warm… and smells warm too? If warm and snug were a scent, it would be Daichi, you decide.
Meanwhile Daichi is doing his best to hide a smirk at how smooth that was. Thank you, wind god, he acknowledges soundlessly.
As you both make your way to the road, he stretches out his arm, offering you something to link your own arm onto.
You take it gratefully. You begin to relax as you fall into rhythm with his own footsteps and begin to make conversation.
“You know, I remember you pretty well. I would go to a lot of Karasuno’s games. You really are talented, Daichi.” He turns his head down toward you, his short black hair getting ruffled by the wind and a sweet grin forming on his face.
“I remember! You were kinda loud actually.” He chuckles and you elbow him gently followed by a feigned indignant, “Hey, rude!” Then joining him with a giggle that makes him go oh so soft.
“But really, y/n, you encouraged us… me, a whole lot back then. I really appreciated the support.” You flash him a grin, “That’s what I’m here for.” You reply.
Despite his nerves, Daichi feels brave for a moment, choosing to be honest, “Y’know I meant to speak to you more then. I just wasn’t sure how… something about highschool really screws with your head, y’know? It’s easy to get caught up in everyone else’s business.” He sighs, attempting to sound thoughtful, but he’s entirely focused on your response.
You look ahead, stepping up to the next crosswalk, making sure to watch your step before commenting.
“Same here. I really… just didn’t want to get in your way.” You explain.
He looks back down to you questioningly, inviting further comment.
“I can tell how much you loved the team.” You smile warmly, looking down at your feet as they hit the pavement. “And I loved watching how seriously you all took the games. I felt like I might’ve been intruding.”
“It’s not intrusive to start a conversation y’know.” You’re one to talk, he shoots back at himself.
You both approach the coffee shop, he lets you walk in first, taking the jacket off your shoulders as soon as y’all find a seat. He asks for your coffee order and walks up to order while you get comfortable at the shiny, wooden table. Cute atmosphere, white ceramic mugs, and a sweet date? This might just be my new place. You nod to yourself.
Daichi, looking really smart in a brown wool sweater and black jeans, makes his way back to the table with your and his coffee. Once he gets himself settled, you continue where you left off.
Coffee in hand, it was time to subtly shoot your shot.
“I didn’t start a conversation with you because I wanted you to be able to focus completely on what you love. Daichi, I really liked you. How could I get in the way of what you’re so passionate about?”
His mouth slightly agape, he lets himself get slightly flustered. Wow, she got to it before I did… wait a second??? She actually did... does like me? Am I an idiot?
“W-wait really?” He stammers, then attempts to compose himself.
“I mean, same here. I, uh, liked you a lot. I just thought you would find someone before I could say anything… and I… guess I didn’t want to totally shatter my ego.” He says candidly, placing a hand on the side of his flushed face, squishing it slightly.
You laugh a little at his honesty, but you’re blushing now too.
“So do you still, y’know- are you interested in making this a regular thing? I just want to get to know you better, really.” He expresses with a genuine sweetness you’d never encountered in a guy before. “I know it’s been awhile since then, but I think it’d be fun.”
“Yeah, let's take it slow, but I would love that.'' You gift him with your most charming smile, brushing a stray hair away from the front of your face.
“So tell me about more yourself…”

Shipping interview!
Multi, single, or fewship?:  fewship! i can be super picky when it comes to ships. and i like to take my time and give my attention to developing them through various ic interactions. i am open to all sorts at first but then if the writing style doesn’t fit or if i see a lack of interest from the other party then i just elegantly float away. my actual preference is single ship but i do recognise the huge commitment that warrants. right now i’m not openly shipping anything but there is a potential one with @irondamsel  that i currently am enjoying quite a lot uvu
What are you willing to RP when it comes to shipping?:  i like letting things take their own course. not one for planning things out unless it’s necessary and oftentimes the muse just does what he will. from angst to smut to fluff it all depends on the progress of things. and i don’t write it just for the sake of writing it. it has to have make sense. otherwise it’s boring to me and will likely get dropped.
How large does the age gap have to be to make it uncomfortable?: obviously he’s a grown arse adult so he won’t be going after minors. large age gaps i don’t have issues with tbh but anything that’s just controversial isn’t my cup of tea. as long as they are two consenting adults at the end of the day, that’s all that matters really. age is irrelevant  to me then, when they’re both adults.
Are you selective when shipping?:  i would say so. there has to be chemistry between the muses that’s for certain. and it wouldn’t hurt to be able to have conversations with the mun although i don’t take that as a must tbh. as long as i can see that the muses chemistry is obvious and the other mun can too, then i’m good. there’s been many potential ships on this blog since its inception but they fizzled out for some reason or the other. i’m not someone who likes to talk alot so that can be challenging tbh but i do enjoy chatting about muses and their shenanigans whenever.
How far do steamy moments have to go before they’re considered NSFW?:  soon as nakedness, touching of certain parts happens, it’s deffo steamy. i don’t like using readmores tho since they are just soooo inconvenient. i don’t like how i have to lose the reply and get taken to the other mun’s blog. other than that, steamy rps are of course tagged accordingly. not that anything of the sort has yet happened on this blog haha!
Does one have to ask to ship with you?:  Not really. i let my ships happen naturally. the muse does what the muse feels like is my sort of mentality. if i see that things are heading towards the ship side then i like to go talk to the other mun and see how they feel about it. other times i just let it be and it progresses on its own. either way, it’s always fun with the other mun sees what i see and is on board. that’s when things get really interesting. but if i’m asked for a ship i find myself a little reluctant about it for some odd reason. i like things to happen naturally through rp instead.
How often do you like to ship?:  i honestly don’t know. it happens on its own? i don’t do it often and rarely write a lot in the first place. but it’s always fun to explore when the potential arises.
What is your favorite ship in your current fandom?:  lisa x shun tbh. i feel like everyone enjoys and writes about shunxuki. they’re awesome and total soul mates no denying that. but lisa and shun is overshadowed and hardly explored much in the fandom and i like things that are hardly explored very much! it’s quite appealing to me uvu

pssst, drop the postsim kaito hcs 👀
*cracks knuckles* Alright lets go-
Under the cut because major V3 spoilers and warnings for illness, trauma, anxiety, and depression mentions! Also long-
He really doesn’t like anyone worrying about him, so he just kinda tells everyone he’s fine even though he’s really not.
He lost a good chunk of his motivation, so he hardly does his hair (or makeup if you wanna follow my KAITO HAS FRECKLES BUT COVERS THEM UP hc uvu) anymore. He also keeps putting off going back to work for the space agency even though he really wants to and is able to.
Anxiety has gone through the damn roof. He already had some anxiety about not being good enough, but the game made it become way more real to him. He’s a lot more fidgety out in public, tending to look around a lot more.
He’s also a LOT more punchy. Remember that video of Buzz Aldrin punching the moon landing denier? Yea that’s Kaito at literally any reporter that doesn’t stop asking about DR when he asks them to-
He has nightmares most nights, and because of them, doesn’t get very much sleep. The nightmares range from events that happened in the killing game, to alternate scenarios that he could’ve stopped but wasn’t able to. (Also not a serious hc but his sleep paralysis demon is just a weird lookin monokuma- I just wanted to type this tbh-)
His illness in the game messed him up the most. There were some nights just after he came out of the simulation, where he still felt like he was very sick. He would cough and dry heave himself into panic attacks until he tired himself out and passed out on the floor. As time went on, this became a rarer event, but he still can’t handle being sick with something as small as a cold without becoming really anxious and uncomfortable, and the slightest taste of blood, from like biting his tongue or something, could also trigger the attack.
He refuses to get help, though his friends (Who found out how badly Kaito was hurting by finding him in the middle of a rough moment) keep trying to get him to.
He does eventually get a bit better later on. He still refuses to get professional help, but he does an ok job with just his friends (and his somewhat unhealthy coping mechanisms-).

i know no one asked for them but hey, take some pretty detailed headcanons on my daiya/hiro kiddos (the first two at least) do note that daiya is trans here uvu
- so daiya and hiro got together after daiya and chisa / hiro and chihiro got together, but they were pining for a while. like. a long while. until their respective partners were like "we don't mind sharing go for it bro" - daiya knows hiro adores kids so he's the one who brings up them having some. hiro knows that it was hard for daiya to get pregnant, though, so he says he's not bothered if they end up not being able to have a bio kid, that's fine. in fact he suggests adoption at first, which neither of them are against, however... - the way it ends up, daiya gets pregnant the first time they try somehow and hiro is. incredibly shocked to say the very least. as is daiya but he doesn't show it as much
- as for who they tell first, daiya tells chisa first and hiro tells chihiro, since they are their partners and kinda need to know, and they're both very happy for them. it's real sweet! there's no jealousy or anything cause like, yknow, they're pretty much their kid too
- the first month is pretty uneventful other than daiya finding out relatively early because they were expecting the results. hiro is just. so happy. much crying from hiro. also lots of cuddles and kisses. - second month sees a slightly more like. broody daiya is the best way to describe him. it's not that he's mad at the people around him he's just. broody. he's also mother henning the other kids like crazy. - additionally he's a little snippier than usual and his temper a bit shorter but it's not. horrible. hiro does cry once and it makes daiya feel really bad so he tries not to do it again - third month, there's a lot of hormonal stuff going on and it's a little harder for daiya to adjust than for his other pregnancies for some reason? they figure out why not too far in: surprise, it's twins! daiya is. understandably shocked because what he just had twins with chisa. but not mad bc that makes everything else make sense. - he's also wanting to "eat and hide" a lot for some reason? normally he stays in the living room for dinner with hiro and the others + kids but now he's like "i must take my food and Run". nobody tries to stop him bc hey he has his reasons - month four and he's gaining more weight so now there's a visible baby bump and he gets a little self conscious. but never to fear, hiro is there with kisses! he does try to make sure that daiya's eating a sensible diet bc left unchecked he'd just survive off of like candy and soda and as enticing as that sounds it's not good for a pregnant person - also catch hiro talking to daiya's stomach bc that is a thing hiro would do you can't convince me otherwise don't even try to - also highkey daiya gets more cuddly around this time. he just wants cuddles and snuggles. and is also very clingy. unfortunately for mondo he is often the target of this clingy worry and gets fussed over a lot ("daiya i have two kids of my own would you please leave me alone") - month five and his emotions just. spike. daiya is either very happy or very sad and there's no in-between. like. he'll be having a normal conversation and then drop a spoon or something and now he's bawling. hiro and/or chisa can usually calm him down but sometimes you'll just catch daiya crying for thirty minutes over one of those SPCA commercials - month six and now on top of being emotional he's also really, really moody and broody and nesting horribly. all the pillows and blankets are belong to daiya. hiro buys him one of those pregnancy pillow things and daiya does not let go of it, don't even try to take it from him you will not succeed and also you might lose an arm or two - however despite being moody and whatnot he still wants to cuddle with hiro and receive back rubs because having a previous spinal injury + carrying two children is not an easy thing to do. but thankfully both hiro and chisa are very willing to take care of him - month seven is when daiya starts getting tired of being pregnant, especially with twins because they're very active (apparently they did Not inherit hiro's chill) and no part of him is safe. he's sleeping a lot more to make up for the times at night when he can't because the kids decide it's party time. daiya still fusses over the other kids but it's mainly hiro/chisa + chihiro taking care of them now because he's mainly resting. - by the eighth month he's so done. he loves his kids. he loves his partners. but he does not love this experience and wants it to be over. it's pretty obvious that he's not gonna be happy until the babies are out and in his arms. hiro does his best to keep him calm because he's emotional once more and liable to cry at everything and anything. pretty much everyone's ready for the babies to just be born already.
as for the actual birth, daiya is a whole week past his due date and no one is happy. he's just. mad. and crying. and ready to do just about anything to get these kids out of him because he's miserable and ready to be done. they're a day away from taking him in to be induced when his water breaks in the middle of the night and he's like "okay fucking finally" because as badly as he wanted to get these kids out of him he also was adamant about not having them at a hospital (his and chisa's were born at home with a midwife so that's how he prefers to go).
he is in. so much pain. and it's hard for hiro to be there because with his and chihiro's kids, chihiro had a c-section so it was? not very intense? plus she was high as a mf kite bc of the drugs so there's that, but there's none of that with daiya. he has awful back labor and his contractions are really strong right from the start. but we'll give hiro credit because he does stay the whole time and hold his hand and basically does whatever daiya asks him to, which is mostly just to stay right with him.
it's way more intense than they were expecting because daiya goes from three centimeters dilation to like. eight centimeters in an hour and a half and everyone's just like "how did this happen so fast what the fuck" but unfortunately that just means more pain for daiya (the cervix dilating is literally your actual bones pulling apart so like. dilating that fast is p a i n f u l)
thankfully he only has to push for like thirty minutes before the first one is born and then the second one comes like ten minutes later so. all's well that ends well! they have a girl and a boy, tomoka and mitsuharu oowada. and they're both completely healthy so no complications on that side at least
some assorted things for after: - tomoka is the clingy baby and mitsuharu is more independent, personality-wise, but tomoka gets more independent as she gets older - despite them being hellions as fetuses, as babies they're actually hella chill. so apparently they did actually get hiro's chill - hiro has freckles and he passes them onto his kids - they were both weaned at the same time, around six months, because daiya unfortunately discovered they had teeth when nursing them one morning. you can imagine how that went. mondo thought this was hilarious until several years later he went through the same thing with ayako and daisuke - tomoka did not. absolutely did not. want to wean. not at all. not in the slightest. she was pissed and even after weaning she'd still cry if she wasn't on or near the titty - mitsuharu on the other hand was like "hell yeah i want food give it to me" - hiro adores his babies oh my god. he'd spend every minute with them if he was able and also didn't have to do things
