I did a little twist on this. Idk if this was what you wanted. I had to ask doggo experts for how doggos act around each other. I am leaving this off on a small cliff hanger because I do want to write more of this.

Twilight didn’t trust the new person in the group. Well. It’s more like he didn’t know what to think of her. She came in like a hurricane running after the Shadow like it was her prey. Then when the dust settled and she calmed down the group quickly learned of why. The short of it being that for some reason the Shadow attacked her brother and she took chase. Which then led to her to finally agree to join the chain. Much to the Ranchers chagrin. However, he knows better than to start an unnecessary fight. Twilight could be civil.

Civility could only go so far.

Little Red, as Warrior’s likes to call her, noticed Twilight’s presence and slight unease of her and ran with it. Twilight couldn’t understand just why she was always running circles around him talking about this and that. It confused him to no end when she instantly would stick to him even when he was wolfie. He had to on more then one occasion threaten to bite Little Red’s hands. She never cared or backed away from Wolfie when he showed a bit of aggression. “He is going to bite you.” Wild warned her as he watched Little Red try to play with Wolfie.

She looked up at Wild while holding Wolfie’s face, “what? No the baby is just playing.” That comment only made Twilight growl more.

“Baby? Wolfie isn’t a baby.” Wild was torn between being completely amuse and helping Twilight out as he did know about his slight distrust of Little Red.

“No no no, Champion. This is a wolf pup. He has to be like…” Her attention draws to the wolf as she observes the good boy. “Man… I have to say maybe 10? He is very small even for that age. Wolfie is like an adult dog size but he is definitely a wolf.” She boops the snoot and quickly pulled back as Twilight tries to bite her hand again. This only makes her giggle more.

“I think your wolves might be just bigger than my Hyrules.” Honestly to Wild, Wolfie was the same size as most wolves, but he just shrugs and not questions that further. Twilight couldn’t understand why you were like this, he wonders if it was just an eccentric thing. He has met a lot of weird people in his life and Little Red might be one of them. After being free from your grasp he takes it upon himself to run away for now. Only because you don’t tend to grab his face while being Twilight and thats the most annoying part of being wolfie around you.

It wasn’t until they finally came to her era that he finally understood.

The village Little Red lived in was small, but cozy. It reminded Twilight of his own home. People tended to light up when seeing Little Red. But given the size of the group following them most villagers tended to just say hi and remarks that they needed to talk to her later. “My house is a bit further.” Little red said pointing to a path that ran into the woods. “It’s just me, my brother and Grandma oh and our cat. I’ll make sure to keep her out of your stuff. But we should have room to fit everyone.” She explains as the path slowly clears up to a cottage in the wood with a small garden. There was a small pup running around in the yard playing with said cat. Who was purely annoyed at ready to pap the puppy in the head.

Little Red’s eyes brightened “Link!” She calls out gaining the Pups reaction.

She dashes towards the house as the puppy starts running towards her. They meet halfway and the puppy shifts into a young boy. “You’re back! You’re back!” This Link giggles as he gets lifted in the air by his sister and spun around.

“I am! For now.” Little red nuzzles her brother’s face as she shifts her grips on her brother to put his weight on her hip. “Boy’s this is my brother. Link these are the adventurers I’ve been traveling with.”

She turns to the group with a smile. The chain was utterly confused and silent before Wind speaks up “Did he transform into a wolf?”

Bulls**t - Gojo Satoru

gojo satoru x non-specified reader

I don’t think I used any gender specific pronouns or character descriptions, however, I have written this with female reader in mind.

Summary: Gojo Satoru is the king of making up stuff. There is one thing he keeps saying that is actually true tho.

Gojo Satoru is a knowledgeable guy, especially when it comes to Jujutsu sorcery and the history of it. He is also the type of person to have many interests. He spends hours learning about his favorite topics and has an opinion about everything. When people bring up stuff he doesn't know about he listens carefully and is deeply invested in the conversation, and once he has enough free time he will read and learn everything about the subject matter so that the next time he can be an active part of the conversation. That is the sole reason why people never question all the random shit he says. You see, Gojo Satoru enjoys messing with people more than anything. Hence, he makes up random facts and stories and he is insanely talented in delivering them with such confidence that they are easy to believe.

One time in high school he managed to convince Shoko that the famous J-Pop idol from the late 90s, Ayumi Hamasaki, was his half-sister. He spent 15 minutes explaining to the young healer that before his mother met his father, she had an affair with a man from Fukuoka named Netero Hamasaki and got pregnant. According to Gojo, his mother was young and had to give up on the child, but Hamasaki-san was more than willing to raise her with his wife who was unable to have children. The special grade sorcerer also explained to his classmate that his mother and Netero were not getting along, because after Ayumi became famous they started ignoring the rest of the family and they became too full of themselves. Shoko listened to Satoru's words in awe, eating up every single word leaving his lips. Two days later, a very excited Yu Haibara approached him, begging for an autograph from Ayumi, which resulted in Gojo telling everyone the truth, resulting in a deeply annoyed and humiliated Shoko.

In another instance, he made Megumi believe that he was supposed to have a pelican Shikigami right after he got his demon dogs. He also showed the young, impressionable boy a series of goofy hand gestures and dance moves that were "supposed to summon the pelican, the most powerful shikigami of the Zenin clan's ten shadows technique". Poor Megumi spent a week going around night and day, doing the insane moves taught by the special-grade idiot who was supposed to take care of him, but the pelican never appeared. However, Gojo enjoyed the situation way too much, bursting out in uncontrollable fits of laughter every time he caught the raven-haired boy while he was trying with all his might to summon his second Shikigami. Thankfully, Principal Yaga cleared the air one time he was taking care of the child while Gojo was out on a mission, however, Megumi never asked Satoru to help him with his technique again.

During their second year, as he and Geto were bored out of their minds with the recent missions they were sent to, the two convinced the higher-ups that they encountered a special-grade curse that injected them with some kind of venom that took away their cursed technique until further notice. This scheme included Shoko as well as she was the one to forge a medical report, claiming that a few days off in Okinawa or any beachy environment would make the toxins release from their bodies faster. The young healer made sure that she was included in the trip claiming that constant medical attention was an absolute must in the current situation. They spent a total of 10 days not doing anything on Jujutsu Tech's account.

Recently, as an assistant teacher, you witnessed how Gojo Satoru tried to convince the first years to do his chores, claiming that it would make them stronger. Yuji didn't question this ridiculous statement, given his circumstances of recently learning about the mere existence of the Jujutsu World, however, Nobara and Megumi knew better, instantly protesting doing his chores. Gojo Satoru is determined as fuck tho, so he managed to spend 30 minutes trying to change the stubborn children's minds until you intervened and dismissed them from class.

"Oh, c'mon sweetheart, I was about to break them." he whined, following you to the teacher's lounge like a lost puppy.

"You shouldn't lie to teenagers like that, Gojo. Especially not Yuji, he's in a vulnerable state, and he will believe everything you say. I know you like to come up with the most unhinged stuff, but one would think that your students were the limit of your idiotic shenanigans." you chastise.

"Everyone thinks my lies are funny though!" he exclaims, his voice laced with fake hurt.

"I doubt that." you whisper, your mind drifting towards all of the instances he claimed that he liked you and wanted to take you out on a date. You knew better than to believe anything coming out of his mouth, especially when he used the tone he always uses when he tries to sell one of his elaborate stories. You had to protect yourself from falling for him or his lies after all.

"What's wrong?" he asks. He recognizes a shift in your cursed energy, it falters and he knows you well enough to able to tell that it's because you're sad.

"Nothing, leave me alone, Gojo!"

"Nu-uh, you're the love of my life, I have to know who or what made you upset so that I can blast them across the universe with Hollow Purple."

"Stop lying, Gojo!"

"You think I'm lying??? I would never lie about my feelings for you!" he exclaims, now he's offended.

"Bullshit!"

"What do you mean bullshit?! I've liked you since day one, y/n!" he steps closer to you, lifting your chin up so that he can look you in your eyes. You are surprised to notice that his blindfold is lowered to sit around his neck, his cerulean eyes on full display. The two crystalline orbs reflect nothing but honesty and you even question how he was ever able to sell any of his lies when his eyes seem to be telling the truth at all times. Of course, he's always covering them when he's about to come up with his most unhinged stories, however, now he's confessing the most important truth of his life. "Do you believe me now, sweetheart?" he asks, his voice breaking, afraid of rejection. You nod shyly, blushing as you realize how close his pretty lips are to yours.

"Can I kiss you?" he asks enthusiastically and you don't answer, you just eliminate the small distance between you two, inviting his lips into a sweet dance with yours. His arms wrap around your hips, pulling you closer, savoring the moment he's been dreaming about for years.

Gojo Satoru has many made-up stories and anecdotes to share, but none of them can compete with the story of your first kiss. That's one he'll be telling for a long time.

Interview: Mike Faist Isn’t Sure About This Whole Acting Thing

“I can’t tell if I hate acting or if I love it too much,” he said ahead of the debut of the Amazon series “Panic.” Coming soon, a major role in Steven Spielberg’s “West Side Story.” For now, he’s going to Ohio.

Tall and lanky, looking as if he were born wearing Wranglers, Mike Faist cuts quite a striking figure in the Amazon Prime series “Panic”: His character, Dodge Mason, is a Stetson-wearing rodeo dude who breaks untamed horses, then soulfully gazes into their eyes.

That, however, is not at all how the character was written in the Lauren Oliver young adult novel that inspired the show, debuting Friday, in which Dodge and a dozen other small-town teenagers face off in a series of life-threatening challenges — think a naturalistic “Hunger Games” with more class war.

After shooting a pilot in 2018 in upstate New York (where the book is set), the production completely rebooted in Austin, Tex., a year later, and Dodge’s back story was changed to better fit the new locale. Suddenly, the school wimp who was interested in cards and magic had been turned into a Western archetype: the strong, do-right loner who doesn’t say much. Faist went with the flow.

“Ciphers can be really boring,” said Oliver, who also wrote the screenplay, “but he manages to capture the power inherent in a certain level of invisibility.”

Dodge is quite a departure for Faist, who is best known for his Tony-nominated performance as the tormented, cynical Connor Murphy in the Broadway musical “Dear Evan Hansen.” Blessed with a rangy charisma and a bone structure that appears to have been carved with a scythe, the actor, now 29, could have easily coasted in “Panic.” But his sensibility is closer to that of such atypical leading men as Adam Driver, and he modernizes a potentially boilerplate part.

“Mike really didn’t want to be a caricature, but I don’t think he ever could be,” said Jessica Sula, who plays Natalie, Dodge’s love interest in “Panic.” She recalled that when shooting resumed in Texas after a Covid-19-imposed pause, Faist chose to live in a trailer on a plot of land with his rescue dog, Austin.

“He’s just so fabulously ridiculous and wonderful,” she said of Faist, laughing fondly.

Faist’s own course has been ascendant since he dropped out of acting school at 18, and his plum role in Steven Spielberg’s highly anticipated “West Side Story” as Riff, the leader of the Jets, should put him on Hollywood’s speed dial when it debuts in December. (Shooting wrapped in September 2019.)

And yet the actor spent much of a recent conversation candidly admitting to ambivalence and incertitude. He spent some of the past year driving around the country with Austin and writing a screenplay. He has been turning down offers and is now selling his Brooklyn apartment and heading back to Ohio.

Faist was warm and laid back on a recent sunny morning in Park Slope, and he laughed a lot in what seemed to be protective self-deprecation as he pondered his future, professional and otherwise. These are edited excerpts from the conversation.

How did they spring the new Dodge on you?

It was still the same elements in terms of, “Oh, here’s the new guy,” but instead of, like, a weird magician, he’s now a … cowboy? I was like, “What do you mean, I’m now a cowboy?” They were like: “Yeah, yeah, you’ll be fine. Maybe try an accent.”

You do look pretty comfortable playing a horse whisperer.

I’d never worked with a horse in a production before. There were two of them: a very calm, gentle horse and a skittish one. We just ended up working with this skittish horse because it was actually doing stuff. The scene where the horse moves toward me was not planned or choreographed at all. They are, you know, unpredictable.

It might have been less intimidating than a sex scene. Is the one with Jessica Sula your first as an actor?

Maybe. I don’t know.

Wouldn’t you remember?

You’d think! I did do a romantic scene [onstage] in “A Month in the Country” with Taylor Schilling. I remember getting a pretty [expletive] review. [Laughs.]

Since the fall of 2018, you’ve gone back and forth between “Panic” and “West Side Story.” How did you handle these very physical projects?

For “West Side,” I found these Bruce Davidson photos of Brooklyn gangs from the late ’50s. If you look at their photos, these guys are emaciated, they have tattoos, and they look wired. Any money they had, they would pool and buy cheap wine and maybe they would have French fries or something. Then they were doing drugs. So I was like, “I need to lose some weight.” But my body was totally breaking down. Then I tried to bulk up as much as possible for “Panic” — just eating potatoes.

Did you do any kind of special training?

I started going to the Mendez boxing gym in Manhattan for “West Side.” I was working with John Rosado, who was raised in New York, Puerto Rican, badass. He was like, “I can’t believe I’m training a Jet!”

Your first big job was in the Broadway musical “Newsies,” which is quite dance heavy. Still, was it daunting to audition for “West Side Story”?

I put together a tape, and then they said, “We want you to come back in and dance.” I was like, “Is there any way you could not have me dance?” They were like: “What are you talking about? This is ‘West Side Story’!” The only saving grace is that Justin Peck [the choreographer] and I have similar body types: tall, nothing but arms and legs. They had their work cut out for them in order to get me up to snuff.

Why aren’t you in the upcoming “Dear Evan Hansen” movie alongside your former co-star Ben Platt?

I feel like I couldn’t do it. I started that when I was, like, 21, and was with it for five or six years. When you’re doing eight shows a week, it very much turns into relying on your technique and the job of it. And the show was such a zeitgeisty thing. It really took a lot out of me, and I didn’t really have it in me anymore.

With “Panic” and “West Side Story” behind you, what are you lining up?

Maybe this is so pretentious, but “West Side” was everything I had ever hoped to accomplish as an actor. It’s really crazy, but it was transcendental: either I didn’t feel like I was myself, or I was the most authentic version of myself. I can’t really tell which one. Having gone from having no money, wanting to just be a working actor — I don’t want to just be a working actor anymore. I had that experience. It [expletive] me up.

What did?

“West Side,” in the best of ways. I can’t unsee what I’ve seen. The pandemic nearly killed us and — what, I just want to be an actor? That’s ridiculous. [Laughs.] I don’t care enough. It’s a weird thing: I can’t tell if I hate acting or if I love it too much. It’s not like I don’t plan on doing it. I just don’t want to follow the trajectory of what the industry wants me to do.

Which is what?

Put on a cape and wear a mask. I need to take more agency because no one’s going to do it for me. It’s tricky, but it’s interesting and pretty exciting. I’m going to hang out with my family in Ohio and then start to figure out where I’m going to go. I would like to ultimately be of service and of use; that’s when I feel at my best.

Shion as the White Rabbit!!

HONESTLY, THIS IS A GOOD CHOICE NGL. I remember someone said Shion acts like a catalyst of the story, one way or another. You know now as I read the novel, Shion is the catalyst to the titular No.6 as he learns and relearns and then his background and experience mesh up to shift the direction of the setting. Shion’s curiosity and nervous demeanor of ‘down the rabbit hole’ is really like him too Also— on the website on Alice in Wonderland analysis stuff, they noted White Rabbit’s

The White Rabbit is nervous and always in a hurry. However, he is confident enough about himself to contradict the King of Hearts.

This is also fitting because Shion’s position later on (and even before) as a prestigious figure and highlights Shion’s personality as prestigious but not prideful, I think? Or is the exposure of being the ‘new person’ in Alice’s human world that made him weird at first glance…?

Nezumi as the Mad Hatter-

Technically this makes sense on multiple faces. One on the fictional effects of people, even though there’s actually not a lot of info about Mad Hatter as far as I know, he (or at least his archetype) remains quite popular, I think that’s also the influence that Nezumi has on reader: some sprinkle of mysterious and interesting narrative. Two is that in the original Alice in Wonderland, I just found out that Mad Hatter isn’t the original name - it’s only Hatter or some variation of that - which is kind of like Nezumi’s identity like ‘masking, unintentionally?’

But also here there’s a bit about Mad Hatter that on other opinions is that he keeps changing his personality, but his devotion and eccentricity remain true. I think this speaks to Nezumi a lot because he sticks to his promises no matter what, and his presence has kind of a charm - whether it’s in the theatrical dramatic sense or genuine - there is a presence of Nezumi that makes him consequently, quite lonely, or becomes more significant (Eve, VC, or his knife skills, or his high empathy) that it’s kind of ironic when it touches his survival instinct to stay low

ANOTHER THING IN THE ANALYSIS STATES THAT

He occasionally is very rude and provokes Alice during the tea party. When he is called upon by the Queen, he is very nervous and frightened

That kinda fits Nezumi because I think that in the end he is still human and he expresses his fear of Shion pretty often

Also apparently Mad Hatter is a term to describe workers who were poisoned by Mercury exposure? I haven’t thought about how this fits it but uh - the more you know.

Inukashi as Cheshire Cat

Okay for one, that’s a very contrasting choice considering what Inukashi has attached themselves to, but also there isn’t a prominent dog-like character in Alice as far as I know.

But - the analysis website, states that Cheshire Cat actually listens to Alice’s concerns and guides her toward Wonderland itself. Cheshire Cat is mischievous, yet also a guidance is a guidance figure too - quite explicitly. This characterization is something that I think Inukashi also has because Inukashi, lovingly raised in a cruel environment, would still lend a hand and also express care like when they interrogated Nezumi or eventually wished Shion and Nezumi to be back safely Also as a guide - could be looking at Inukashi’s role in baby Shion’s life too?

But I don’t want to go among mad people,’ Alice remarked. Oh, you can’t help that,’ said the Cat: we’re all mad here. I’m mad. You’re mad.’ How do you know I’m mad?’ said Alice. You must be,’ said the Cat, or you wouldn’t have come here.’ Alice didn’t think that proved it at all; however, she went on And how do you know that you’re mad?’ To begin with,’ said the Cat, a dog’s not mad. You grant that?’ I suppose so,’ said Alice. Well, then,’ the Cat went on, you see, a dog growls when it’s angry, and wags its tail when it’s pleased. “Why didn’t they just walk away?” : 70s suburbia and social norms

Guess who’s back with another ramble/mini essay/analysis/ meta or whatever people are calling it now days. This time I’m tackling the widest complaint I see about the movie and using it as a great jumping point for further discussion and analysis so , buckle up.

Strangers-

There’s a reason we say “stranger danger” lock our doors and generally mistrust people. A reason we don’t get into vans, hitchhike or help look for lost dogs. The age in which the black phone is set is kinda the reason why. Sometimes the late 60s but mainly 1970- the late 90s and was the height of serial killers/spree killers in America. People who took advantage of open doors and trusting strangers and eventually changed the social tide forever.

It’s common to help out a neighborhood or stranger, it’s a small town it’s likely you know everyone or they at least know you. You smile on the streets, help the old lady find her cat, sit together at barbecues etc. “why does Robin just walk to the van?” “I know I didn’t just see Bruce walk directly into the van💀”

Well for one thing it’s the way the scene is shot, he’s just going around the corner and the vans Infront of him. For all we know he was aiming to walk straight past or The grabber offered him- likely candy , like he came to the store in the first place for. Bruce, was probably confused and wanting to help then got slapped by the door.

It’s a lot more common to trust “hey could you help me” or “hey kid you want some candy.” Or “come to my house and I’ll give you a puppy” because all the cases that made us distrust this shit was happening right then!

It’s like seeing a card on the door of your car or someone dropping something Infront of you. Now days we are, almost overly, cautious and usually automatically distrust it. Back then, there was a bit more faith in the common man I suppose.

Latchkey kids

Largely starting as a trend during WW2 it soon became a sure thing with Gen X (I mentioned before my parents were kids/around the same age as these kids. So I do have a bit of a talking reference source). Essentially it’s - your kid always has a house key and lets themselves in/takes care of themselves. Usually from there parents being working class and unable to afford a care service or for one of them to stay at home.

If you ever heard your parents (or maybe it’s true to you, idk y’all’s ages) talk about “we used to come home/have to be home once the streetlights turned on” that’s another part of it. Basically kids kicked out to go play all day and just- trusted to come home. Very laissez-faire style of parenting.

It’s a entirely different culture. Kids were allowed and ENCOURAGED to go off on their own and do whatever they wanted without supervision or stay at home etc. this isn’t to say parents never taught their kids stuff such as “don’t open the door for random people. Don’t trust someone creepy” etc just it was a less spoken/cemented in lesson. Now days doing this would probably be classified as bad parenting as we live in a Society which prioritizes helicopter parenting/constant communication (which it’s not a bad thing to know where your kid is but constant constant check ins during play time or their own shit Is - idk)

I think Finney and Gwen are great examples of latchkey kids. When they’re dads at work, they have a key. When he’s home, Finney is looking after him and himself do to his fathers alcoholism. Also that they walk themselves to and from school- it’s not to far but it’s still a WALK.

I suspect Vance and Robin may be as well. However Billy and Bruce both, read as more middle class in that, they’re mothers or a parent may be home at times even if they work etc. Griffin? Idk.

Another blurb that doesn’t really fit anywhere is that hitchhiking was also culturally fit in this time. Like to the point it’s all over media. You get in a strangers car and just trust they’ll take you where you want to go or drop you off somewhere on the way. I feel like this dropped off in the 90s or 2000s because I don’t remember it being much of a thing in the early 2000s

Debut: Pac-Man: The Animated Series

I’m glad Pac-Man has a dog. He is the kind of guy who should have a dog. He’s a “family guy”! He has his family, and they have their dog. His entire family is held ransom due to legal disputes, his dog is still there for him. He gets a fresh new state-of-the-art family, and his trusty dog is still there, same as always, a welcome constant in his life! That’s the great thing about dogs, that they are immortal! But where do such creatures possibly come from?

They come from Hanna-Barbera cartoons, of course! When Hanna and Barbera give you a dog, that’s when you know you’ve made it. I do not have much to say about the cartoon itself, but if you’re the DOG of a famous character who debuted in a licensed cartoon and went on to become a mainstay of the franchise, that’s when you know you’ve REALLY made it!

The Hanna-Barbera cartoon had weirdly a lot of influence on the game series, serving as a source of inspiration for Pac-Land, which even uses a version the main theme song as its dang music! And look who’s there, it’s our pal Bluish-Gray Chomp-Chomp. Mere years before his first metamorphosis.

I have talked about Pac & Pal here before, but it is important to Chomp-Chomp’s history, so I will go over it briefly again here! Pac & Pal is a Pac-Man followup featuring Miru, a friendly yet mischievous character who helps collect fruit in the maze, at the cost of some points for the player. When (unsuccessfully) testing the game in the west, it was renamed to Pac-Man and Chomp-Chomp, replacing Miru with the cartoon dog! I love Miru to death, but look how cute Chomp-Chomp is in these sprites! I’m not sure why he was redesigned, but it’s definitely my favorite design for him, and I wish the game was popular enough to properly release, so we could have both versions. And like I said in the Miru post, I think a dog actually fits better in this context, as a character who you know is a friend, but who you might not want to get away with your stuff!

And then, Chomp-Chomp just sort of kept appearing in things! Long after the cartoon was even relevant, here he was in Pac-Man World, for example, where he has clearly pupated between games, since he now has developed a whole new body plan! He also talks in this game, which is very funny, because he sometimes says dog phrases like “good boy”, as if he’s mimicking what his owners have said to him.

I’ve always been a bit torn on this design. It’s very cute! But I just feel like a Pac-Dog SHOULD be spherical. What if he was spherical?

Oh no! Oh god! This is wretched! Why would you do this, Pac-Man World 2? This is not a dog! This is just a Pac-Person with floppy ears! This is not how you make a spherical dog!

Ah... thank you so much, Pac’n Roll. I really needed that. Thank you for reminding me that a Pac-Dog can be spherical without looking like the equivalent of Pac-Man’s severed head. He is just named Pac-Dog here, but we all assume this is Chomp-Chomp.

The most recent Chomp-Chomp development... well, you may be aware of the Legal Hell that Ms. Pac-Man has been in, and you may be aware that Pac-Man’s entire family has now been retconned into new characters, with new names and new designs. But what of our dear Chomp-Chomp? Must he be replaced, as well? Are we in for the most drastic redesign yet?

Nope! Good ol’ Chomp-Chomp is our anchor, keeping us stable and comfortable even when the world as we know it crumbles around us. His body is smaller in comparison to his head now, and I think I kind of like it more? The more stylized proportions feel like they fit more with the other characters! He DID, however, get a name change.

He is now Pac-Buddy! It feels unnecessary, but whatever! It’s fine, I guess. He is indeed a Buddy. Maybe they were worried Hanna-Barbera would decide to start caring about the Chomp-Chomp name again. I don’t really care what they call him, though! The Pac-Dog is here, he’s always been here, and with the more consistent branding recently, it seems like he is finally here to stay!

For me, you’re totally right!!! The writing has been so terrible lately. I didn’t know where else to rant, so I apologize in advance for the HUGE rant.

It’s getting annoying and tiring that we have to follow up with so many different storylines.

It doesn’t even make sense anymore. I mean, we have at least five more villains. Of course, we knew some from before but it’s STILL unbearable. They tried to fit so much into an episode when it could’ve fit into an entire season.

For reference, there were a lot of unfinished storylines:

- Rosalind’s accomplice

- People targeting the police and someone taking out the “guy” behind it (why was it brushed over???)

I don’t know about you but I’m TIRED of Monica. There was a lot of screen time that could’ve gone to the main characters of the show but it didn’t.

But what I’m hating right now is the way Everton treats Lucy.

IT’S INFURIATING. After Jackson’s death, it seemed like she had no one other than Tim or Tamara. However, she doesn’t have either at the moment.

IT WAS ALSO SUPPOSED TO BE HER DAMN BIRTHDAY!!! Why did no one say anything? They (Angela and Nyla) also brushed off what she said about having 12 undercover identities. I don’t know about you but they’ve never been encouraging.

It’s sad and disheartening that her friend is a LITERAL teenager and treats her better than everyone else on the show. With Tim out of the picture, she’s alone. I mean, what happened to everyone’s friendship? It used to be Nolan, Jackson, and Lucy. I know they used to date but I mean, come on, they moved on so why shouldn’t they stay friends?

The fact that Nolan’s more friendly with his ROOKIE is baffling. (I love Celina by the way, this isn’t a diss.

I mean, what happened to character development? We don’t see much of Aaron or Celina. They waste so much time with storylines that fizzle out the next episode and don’t matter anymore because either Angela, Wesley, or whoever can’t (legally speaking) touch the criminals.

I’m more upset that they ruined Chenford. For drama? This show won’t be getting renewed in the future, maybe there’ll be an eight season but come on…It’s upsetting how we won’t see Lucy and Tim together anymore. Wasted five seasons of my life only for them to break up and end their relationship in one.

Personally for me, I believe Lucy and Tim are the ones who have TRULY been through it.

I mean, I understand everyone else has their stuff. However, Lucy has been kidnapped and nearly died. Her parents aren’t even supportive of her career. Her best friend died.

While Tim was abused by his father, found out about his father’s affair, had to sell the house he was abused in, etc. He went to war and now the whole thing with Mad Dog jumping off the roof!

Meanwhile, everyone else is happy. Sure, they went through so much but they AT LEAST HAVE SOMEONE TO HELP THEM THROUGH IT!

THESE TWO HAVE NO ONE!!! They aren’t married or have good parents!!!

Sorry for my rant, feel free to ignore but I’m sad about the turnout of this season. I wished they somehow got married and moved into a beautiful house far away from this chaos, and had at least three children by next episode but that won’t happen.

There's too much to try and keep track of in too few episodes.

The pacing of the episodes is utter crap because they tried to cram a full season worth of shit (which is usually 20 to 22 episodes), into half a season of 10 episodes.

So the storylines are all over the place. The characters are running around like chickens with their heads cut off.

Don't apologize. I bitch a lot on this blog. No one I know in RL watches the show, so the only people I can rant to are other fans on here.

Where do you get 5 more villains? I thought it was 3. Monica, Blair and the guy who I think is mobbed up, that Lucy's working for as UC, and taking care of his kid. Who else do you think is involved? Oscar? I think he just did Monica a few favors. I don't see him as one of the villains of the season.

As for the unfinished storylines, I'd be very surprised if they finished them. The show has a lot of problems and this, and the timeline are major ones, imo.

I hate Monica and have ever since she came on the scene. All her BS doesn't interest me at all, and I want Angela to kill her.

Who is everton? I'm sure you meant someone else, because I don't know a single character with that name. So, I can't comment on it because I don't know. Do you mean Primm, the guy that stopped her from making Detective?

I hate that Lucy lost both Tim and Tamara this season. Also, don't get me started on the birthday bullshit. Tim's the only one who remembered and even did something for her.

John's supposed to be her friend, but ever since Jackson was killed and Bailey's stupid ass got with him, he's basically been like 'Lucy, who?'

As for Angela and Nyla, I'm already pissed that they were being assholes to Lucy earlier in the season. Angela only gets involved with Lucy, when it involves Tim. Nyla doesn't give a shit in any way.

John doesn't have time for Lucy. He's up his lame ass wife's ass all the time, and dealing with Celina's spiritual bullshit.

Honestly, while Celina has grown on me a little, I still like Aaron more and want him to have more screen time than her. But yet, I'm assuming their scenes were cut since there was only 10 episodes and they had to force the drama bullshit though, so their scenes were cut.

Yeah, I agree about Chenford. They've both been put through the ringer this season more than anyone else, and yet they get fucked over while everyone else gets to be happy. That's such bullshit.

I'll admit, I like drama. It makes shows interesting. However, when the drama and bullshit doesn't let up and my favorite characters are sad/hurt/lonely/abandoned all the fucking time, it doesn't make me want to keep watching, as it's too depressing.

Some Refs of RM’s outfits and stuff :} been working on this all day as I didn’t really have a decent design of RM, it’s been a full year two years since his first reference he was very much due an update.

Some info under the cut about him and outfits

Name: Bailey Aliases: RM Height: 8″8 Occupation: Circus Ring Master (Dog walker and baker in other aus)

Bailey’s egg was created in a lab instead of being a natural born data pak. He was made specifically to be able tolerate the constant data flow of being an entertainment Boss Pak.

However things didn’t go as exactly as planned and something along the way of his creation caused him to malfunction and his data became slightly corrupted.

Because of this corruption Rm can only tolerate so much data information before he starts to corrupt and glitch out, this has made him a sort of Data vamp. when his mind is taking on to much he needs to seek out another citizen of the cyber network and because of his outward friendly personality and trusting nature he’s able to lure in unsuspecting victims before he drains them dry of there data, stopping his bed from corrupting but leaving his victim as nothing but code and binary.

He doesn't particularly like doing it so tends to only lure in those he thinks deserves it.

Only Boss is truly aware of what Rm does but feeling particularly close to Rm for various reasons he turns a blind eye to it.

Rm also takes care of his twin brother, Azzy who is far worse of then he is, neither of them have spoken to there ‘father’ in years and feel closer to there mother who only donated her DNA in her creation of them both.

Rm is a lot larger then an average data pak making him a rather attractive mate to other paks that show interest, he is pretty shy when it comes to things like that though and tends to be unaware of when others show interest in him first.

Outfits

Glasses - Being lab born means he is missing some slight important parts of being a true data pak, Rm needs to wear these tinted glasses around the cyber network as the lights of the city tend to make his head hurt and his vision blurred. He only tends to remove them when inside the circus tent or when he’s somewhere with lower lighting.

Ring Master outfits - (Design courtesy of @hollowsart ) Rm’s main show outfit that he uses for the circus, it’s the opposite to Azzy’s in being a sun motif and being rather flashy for the ring. The jacket itself has glitter speckled all over it and it tends to get everywhere. If you find a lot of glitter in one place it’s possible that Rm is preparing for a show.

casual wear - outside of being a ring master, Rm tends to like wearing more lose fitting clothing, it’s rare he’s seen outside of work with a fully buttoned up shirt, he likes to let his big boobas breathe after all. Besides he says when he wears them bully buttoned his chest is far to tight and he’s nearly taken out someones eye with a stray button flying off.

casual wear 2 - staying healthy is important! Rm likes to skate, But Rm also likes to dress like an 80s man whore to.

Data saving form - A much smaller form of Rm. Data saving unit 01 is a 4″5 version of Rm’s body with stubbier legs. The form is made to be a cuter and simpler version of his larger form. All Data pak bosses have a data saving unit body for emergencies in case there main bodies have issues and need to be worked on. there data is transferred to these smaller temp bodies.

The downside to these smaller bodies is they don’t have all the normal lower parts of a regular sized data pak and they can get more tired easily, having to rest more then normal.

It’s rare boss paks have to use these forms but Rm and Azzy are in and out of these bodies frequently due to there own illnesses so there main bodies tend to go through a lot of maintence.

So I felt inspired to write something new. I’m taking some ideas from @rainiishowers on their post on MC with senior pets. Check out their blog, they write some good stuff. :]

Also me not finishing the end of my first series, but that can wait. Basically just a talking heads fic. Not proofread, may contain mistakes, ‘keep reading’ is used to shorten page

A/N : MC is adopted in this fic

CW: Mentions of mortality, pet loss

Summary: MC has volunteered to be a hospice to two Devildom pets, and reminds the brothers of their own mortality.

You had a request for Lord Diavolo, something to enrich your stay in the Devildom besides being the exchange student living with the Avatars of sin. Something that you were passionate about, and gave you a piece what you did back home. Providing hospice care to cats and dogs in the human world.

Despite Lucifer’s initial opposition, Diavolo had allowed you to adopt one hellhound and one cat from the Devildom Dogs and Cats Home. He, however saw that you were being responsible and not one mention of you causing trouble when you with the brothers, so he had allowed it.

You had specifically requested to adopt out the oldest hound and cat together, which meant you were dedicating all your time to them and not with the brothers. You were there around the clock, making sure the old hound and cat were comfortable and you kept them company. An old hellhound with chronic arthritis and an aged cat that was nearly blind.

It had now been a month or two since Lucifer approved of the adoption, yet the honeymoon phase had passed. Lucifer had enough of his little brothers bugging him constantly over you not spending time with any of them. Minus Satan who was faithfully by your side in helping you look after the two pets. He was trying to get important work from Lord Diavolo in a timely manner, but whether from verbal or text formed complaints from his little brothers, he had enough.

“It’s not fair Luci!” Asmo whined loudly as he crossed his arms and pouted at the eldest. “All MC does now is spent time with them, it’s like they don’t want to do anything else. Those animals are cutting into time with us, more importantly me!” The fifth born frowns as your self care sessions and club nights with him had been pushed aside for staying home.

“MC doesn’t even want to go on our car drives unless that mutt’s coming! Not to mention Satan takes up all their time too.” Mammon grumbles as his frown was pronounced as Levi shoots Mammon a look but chimes in annoyance. “He says we’re not fit to take care of them, I have a pet too you know!” Levi whines as Belphie shakes his head.

“It’s not like you’d be taking them out Levi. Too much work.” Belphie piped up as Beelzebub groans, “But Belphie, you’re not out taking care of them with MC either, you’re always napping. I don’t think MC is taking care of themselves either, they always feed the animals before themselves.”

Lucifer huffs as he supposes he’d appease his little brothers for now. He pinches the bridge of his nose, “We’re going to have a civilized talk with MC then.” he directs as he gives the brothers a sharp look, already used to all of his brothers fighting over for time with MC. He wanted this to be quick, the sooner the better.

The brothers were making their way towards the quiet garden as they noticed you and Satan in the clearing threw he window. A large black and greyed hellhound was cuddled close to your side as you had the cat in your hold. Before Lucifer could say a thing, a loud yowl filled the air. The brothers all ducked behind the window as they peeked out, they could hear you soothing the disgruntled feline.

“I know...I know...You hate taking the medicine. But you did good Hex. I have get your meds refilled later this week.” You cooed as the black cat gave you a low hiss and hobbled over to Satan’s lap and nestled herself against him. Once the cat was off your lap, the old hound laid his head on your lap and you gently stroked his head.

Setting the syringe into a pouch that housed her many meds, Satan chuckles as he stroked the cat in his lap, “I know they gave these two a month or so until they pass, but do you think they’ll exceed their expectation?” he asks as you trace the grey lining of the hound’s muzzle, “We don’t know for sure Satan, she might. Hex and Balthazar will let us know when the time comes.”

Satan feels the low purr of the cat against his hand as he noted the corner of your eyes starting to mist up and you started blinking rapidly. “MC? Did I upset you?” Wrath asks as he frowns and you quickly shake your head, “No. No, you didn’t.” You take a breath and groaned as you wipe your eyes. “I should be used to this by now.” You sigh as Balthazar let out a small whine and you resume stroking him, his tail slowly wagging against the grass.

The brothers peered through their hiding spot from the window, they fought the urge to go down there and comfort you, but decided to hear you out. Mammon frowns as he half whispers to Lucifer, “Ya sure we can’t go down there? MC needs us!” Mammon was met with a swat from the eldest, “Shush.” Lucifer scolded lightly as they all wanted to hear was your perspective.

“May I ask how you decided to adopt senior pets?” Satan asks as he scooted closer to you, careful not to disturb Hex who was asleep in his lap. You looked thoughtful as you smiled bittersweetly, “I guess I should start at the beginning. Do you remember that I told you guys that I was adopted?” Satan nods as you continue, “I was about...nine? Almost ten. Most couples in the human want to adopt babies instead of older children. I suppose the same could be said for cats and dogs. Everyone loves puppies and kittens, and children are no different.”

You continued as you found Balthazar asleep in your lap, the hound snoring loudly as you couldn’t help but laugh softly. Endearing as it was to you, the rest of the brothers found it as a bother as you continued, “My parents who adopted me had a senior dog around the time I came into their home. Her name was Molly and she was a lovely little mutt. They said they adopted her because she was an older dog and no one wanted her despite her being a well mannered dog with a good disposition. And of course, no adopters wanted to deal with her medical needs.”

A tear fell from the corner of your eye as you recalled fond memories you spent with Molly, who became your constant companion. “She was a beautiful soul. All animals are. It’s a comfort to have an animal companion. We learn to be responsible, compassionate, and to understand the preciousness of life. To have a little being who sees nothing but the good in me. I suppose it was hard on me to have to let her go when the time came.”

Satan frowns as he sees your shoulders tremble and he could only know what happens next in this story. “And when her time came?” You sniffled loudly before wiping your eyes with your sleeve, “I was there with her, I held her. I kept telling her that I loved her and thanked her for being a part of my life. We went home in silence, I was holding her collar, along with her ashes. She’ll always be with me, and I can’t wait to see her again at the rainbow bridge.” You smile softly at them as the silence settled in, the same sentiment was palpable as you had dedicated so much time with the two hospice pets.

Satan was quiet for a moment as he handed you a handkerchief. You wiped your eyes and leaned against his side, and he continued, “Did you see yourself her? And in senior pets?” he inquires as you gave Satan a knowing look, not surprised that he read you perfectly when you had brought them home. You let out a soft chuckle, “I do see myself in senior pets yes. I know what it’s like being overlooked and not to be loved or cared for. I don’t want any of my pets to ever feel that way.”

“Would you do it again? To go through heartbreak again?” Satan questions as the cat stirs in her sleep and nudges the blonde for comfort, the latter gently cradled her in his arms in response. You simply smiled in response as you placed your head on Bal’s head, as the hound had been making soft whimpers in his sleep. “Yes. I would if it meant that the pets under my care got the best things in life, no matter how short of time they had with me.”

“I want them to know the feeling of finally having a home and to have a family. I don’t want them to be scared if someone will hurt them. I want them to feel safe and loved.” You where sure that tears were running freely down your cheek as you take a breath. “I’ve gone overboard with all the little achievements these two got to experience, I’m sure the brothers by now are sick of it. But I’m glad they got to experience it all before they’ll leave us, I’m sure I’ll see these two at the rainbow bridge too.”

“There’s a saying in the human world. ‘You can have pets all your life, but your pets only have you. You are their world. I want them to know on their last days, they’re with the people that loved them. I know when my time comes, I’d want to be surrounded by the people who loved me.” You sniffled as you wiped your tears, and this time you noticed Satan’s eyes starting to water. “Satan?” You wipe at his eyes with his own handkerchief and frown slightly.

“I’m sorry. I’m sorry that we’ve never said it sooner. I’m sorry I took your life for granted.” Satan apologizes as he takes your hand, and “I suppose we’ve become accustomed to you being here with us, we forget that you’re human. We’ve been blissfully unaware that you might leave us sooner than we’d like to admit.” Satan faltered as he bit his lip, refusing to cry in front of you. “I don’t like thinking about the day when you do leave us MC. But you have my word, and my brothers’ that we will be there by your side when it’s time for you to go.”

You only smile warmly at Satan and gave him a half hug, careful not to disturb the sleeping cat in his lap, “Thank you Satan. I know you and your brothers will be there.” As a breeze passed by, you let out a sigh as you were content and didn’t feel like doing anything right now as the two pets were asleep. “I think I’ll take a nap out here with Balthazar. Are you going in?” You ask and lean against the hellhound and Satan simply shakes his head and joins you.

All the brothers could feel your waves of distress through the pacts slowly calming down as the spying brothers remained silent. Lucifer and his brothers could only absorb everything they heard from your past and what you did now with these animals, they understood it now. Why you dedicated yourself to these animals and the preciousness of life that you so cherished now that you had faced death time and time again.

They so easily took life for granted, being such powerful beings they had forgotten about how short humans actually lived. How fragile they were, and that their life compared to them was just a blip. And how guilty they all felt now as they all put your life in danger at one point, with one being successful. To care for something other than yourself, you truly did have the blood of an angel flowing in you.

In silence, they all looked at each other and nodded as they made their way towards the garden as they originally planned. As they approached you and Satan, you were just settling in with Satan by your side before looking up at the brothers, “MC. Satan.” Lucifer begins as you groan a little and sit up, “Yes Luci?”

The eldest takes a breath as Satan gives him with a raised eyebrow, “May we join you?” he asks as you and Satan look at each other, the brothers’ behavior a bit suspicious since they hadn’t been too involved with you and Satan, “I guess you can, don’t you all have other things to do though? I’m sure you’d all be elsewhere than here.” You ask as the snores from the hound had returned.

“No, we want to stay with you. That’s all.” Lucifer states as he looks over at the sleeping pets, “And if you wish, we will all do our part in making sure these two will live out the best life while they are here with us.” The eldest states as you look at the younger brothers behind him, not all of them seemed as enthusiastic when you had brought them home. “You all are?”

The eldest nods as he figured Diavolo would keep an eye on you and the pets you boarded in his home, “Yes, of course. I’m sure Cerberus will enjoy the canine company. But...If this commitment is one you feel so strongly for, I will do everything in my power to aid you. And..” Lucifer sighs as he looks at you, “Suppose the time has come to say goodbye, it will be a bridge we will cross together.”

Levi stammered as he piped up, “Erm...MC, if you’d like I can make some digital scrapbooks for them...If you want, so we can remember all the little stuff they do.” Levi twiddled his thumbs as he stated, “If I get jealous...Just let me know, okay? I don’t mean to, but they are important to you, so...um..I’ll do better.” Beel was the next to speak, “Well...If they’re family members to you, then they’re family to us too.” Beel looked over at the sleeping animals, “If you need help giving them a good meal, I know all the pet friendly restaurants we can bring them to for a good meal. They’ll get the best before they have to leave us.”

Belphie hums as he nods, “Mhm. If it’s naptime like this, Beel and I can look after them while you take a break. Beel says you need to take care of yourself you know.‘“ Beel gives you a sheepish look and nods as well, “MC, you can’t look after them if you aren’t your best.” Asmo chimes in as he agrees, “That’s right MC! We have a lot of self care sessions to catch up on~ I suppose we can catch on it when these little ones are being cared for by the rest of the brothers~” Asmo winks as Mammon groans behind him. “If you want MC, I can post all the senior pets at the shelter to my Devilgram to get them homes~”

“Oi. Don’t think you’re going to take all of MC’s time-” Mammon nearly shouts before being smacked by Lucifer, “Mammon. They are asleep.” he scolded as Mammon huffed, “Well...Erm, well. If ya need anythin for Talon and Shookcranks, I’ll give ya help. For a price.” he mumbles a flustered statement. You let out a chuckle at Harrison Porter reference as you smile at your first man.

“Oh course, thank you Mammon. And thank you, all of you.” You smile at the seven demons before you, those that you loved surrounding you and you. They all started getting down in the grass, all being as close to you as possible. You sigh and closed your eyes, soon drifting off to sleep “I love you all, don’t you forget it.” All the brothers gave each other a knowing look, nodding at each other as they all followed you to sleep, for once, the rambunctious bunch in serenity with yourself and each other.

"We love you too MC and we will be here with you and always, until the end.”

Headcanon Voices - My Twst OCs

(sighs) So, less than a month after I said I would NOT be doing this...I’m doing this. Go figure. :P People keep asking me what voices I headcanon for my OCs, especially for Twisted Wonderland. I decided, just for a lark, to finally provide a dreamcast of English voices for my major TW OCs. (I probably won’t bother with Japanese voices...at least, not right now.) I decided to go with voice actors who primarily work in video games and anime dubs, and I wanted to make sure they had done recent work that felt like it matched the age range of the characters. With help from various people, and a lot of research, I think I’ve finally figured out the voices. SO...here is the Dreamcast of headcanon voices for my Twisted Wonderland OCs.

Nakoda Spivak = Landon McDonald

Initially, I was going to give this to Daman Mills, but after I reminded myself of McDonald’s voice in “Bungo Stray Dogs,” and then listened to his work in “Demon Slayer” and a couple of other places, I chose him, instead. I don’t know if McDonald can sing, but in terms of his speaking voice, it is EXACTLY how I would imagine Nakoda to sound...provided you just give him those tell-tale hisses. ;) Billy Géant = Stephen Fu

I love Stephen Fu from a few roles, but it was specifically his work as Noe in “The Case Study of Vanitas” that made me choose him here. His voice in that role has a certain mixture of grit and resonant depth that I felt Billy needed, but it’s still light and young, which I also felt was needed. In that specific role, he also shows two different sides: Noe is one half gooberish cinnamon bun who can be insanely cute and sweet, and the other half is...well...a vampire. A very, VERY powerful, strong, and dangerous vampire. He can flip on a dime from downright TERRIFYING to just the cutest little guy in the world. That’s EXACTLY what Billy should be: one moment a big loveable dunderheaded child, the next a rage-fueled disaster machine who can be fiery or icy depending on the situation.

Elias Inque = Brandon Johnson

I only just recently discovered Johnson for his work as the title role in “Skeleton Knight in Another World.” That role alone was all it took to convince me. In the part of Arc, the main character, he proves to be equal parts an over-the-top pseudo-villainous ham, a somewhat goofy and geeky sort, and a fairly down-to-Earth, rational person...AND, surprisingly, a massive glutton who is CONSTANTLY thinking of food. That’s basically Eli in a nutshell. I can even imagine him using his “normal voice” for Arc as Elias, while he transitions into his “bold knight” voice for when Eli becomes the Phantom Blot. Seems fitting.

Reno Rovar = Adam Gold

I really don’t know Adam Gold well at all. However, after @belliesandburps shared with me clips of him from “Cookie Run,” I was convinced. Case closed.

James Killian = Ricco Fajardo

Initially, I was going to cast Kieran Flitton here, even though I’ll confess I don’t know Flitton very well. Things changed when I discovered Fajardo’s work as Achilles in the game “Smite.” I knew Fajardo already from a few places, but it was Achilles in “Smite” that convinced me. Just like with McDonald as Nakoda, the instant I heard his work in that role, all I could think of was, “that’s James. That is EXACTLY how James should sound.” Heck, even some of his dialogue sounds like stuff James would say, in PRECISELY the way James WOULD say it! So that settled things in an instant.

Smitty McCarthy = Joshua Waters

Waters is a bit of an odd one here. This is a case where it’s less one or two specific ROLES that convinced me, and just the actor in general. I was most heavily influenced by his work as Miyano in “Sasaki & Miyano.” The soft, “smol” voice he uses for Miya in that show sounds very much like how I would imagine Smitty often sounding. The energy is different - Miyano’s personality is NOT the same as Smitty’s - but the specific SOUND, the QUALITY of the voice, is just about on the money. Knowing Waters’ other work, I think he’s a fine choice.

Maelstrom Baleno = Kellen Goff

I know Kellen Goff best for playing Sasaki in “Sasaki & Miyano” and Overhaul in “My Hero Academia.” Neither is the voice I imagine for Maelstrom. XD Much like Joshua Waters as Smitty, this is a case where it’s less about a specific role, and more about the actor. Goff has an INCREDIBLE range, and can do a lot of really cool things with his voice that you wouldn’t guess just hearing his neutral, natural tones. It was a combination of hearing a few roles of his, including his characters in Cookie Run, Volke from Fire Emblem, Glamrock Freddy, and a few others that made me decide he could, very likely, handle Maelstrom. While his natural voice is quite light, he’s shown he can bring depth and danger to a voice with ease, so while he may be unconventional as a choice, he seems possible to me.

Theodore Hamilton = Jalen K. Cassell

Theodore was quite possibly the hardest character to cast. I kept changing the voice right up until the last minute with him. The problem is that Theo is different from my other OCs because he’s based on a female source. Not only that, but it’s a female source with a VERY iconic sort of voice: the Wicked Witch of the West. Whether you go with Mila Kunis or Margaret Hamilton, how does one turn that heckling, cackling, snarling, shrieking voice into the sound of a handsome anime boi? I considered several actors: Brandon McInnis, Chris Guerrero, even a few who ended up with other characters, like Goff and Fu. Jalen K. Cassell won out because he had the right balance of youthfulness and slickness, while also showing the ability to snarl and get vicious and even surprisingly gruff and dusky. And he can cackle with the best of them, as far as his laugh goes; a perfect match for any wicked warlock.

Grit Gravelle = Bryce Papenbrook

This was the easiest voice to choose. Simply put, Grit is a LOT like Shindo from “My Hero Academia.” So it seemed only natural to use Shindo’s voice for his own. Case dismissed. And there you have it, folks! I must admit, I’m slightly unsure about a couple of these voices (specifically Maelstrom and Theo), but the rest seem right on the money and are unlikely to change. Now please, everybody, stop asking. XD

Hi hello can I request a rant about ikeshot 👀 Anything you want like headcanons and stuff I'm begging pls I'm so starved for ikeshot content you're literally the only person here talking about them

Ikeshot. Let’s talk abt them.

Since you didn’t really specify what topic you want me to go over abt them i’ll just give you my general thoughts in regards to them and just specific general details i like to consistently characterize them when thinking of au’s and such.

Firstly abt Hotshot. He’s Korean-American in my opinion. There wasn’t really any specific actor that inspired this hc (not even the korean newsies cast, i don’t really know that cast that well) but i feel it fits him perfectly. He was born in Korea to Korean parents and then moved to the states for both canon and modern era (i hv no clue if there were any Korean immigrants in New York in the time where newsies take place and no i hv no interest in finding out whether that’s historically accurate<3). I like to think he’s the youngest. He has 12 older sisters. Idk it just feels fitting to me. His actual name is Park Ryung-Gu and i’m following the usual Korean naming rule so Park is his family name and his given name is Ryung-Gu (idk how to explain how to properly pronounce it other than like saying ‘young’ but with an R at the front followed by ‘goo’. Also i’m not very adversed with Korean naming and culture in general so there might be a few errors i make despite alr doing some light research. Srsly i ended up watching a kdrama compilation just to find out how to pronounce that name If anyone reading this can correct me then feel free to drop an ask).

Seeing that he had lived his majority of his childhood in the states, he’s considered the most fluent english speaker in his family. He likes helping his mother cook especially when she’s making kimchi. Man loves kimchi and can live off of eating that one single dish for his entire lifetime. He likes tiny hamsters but also big dogs. He actually likes a lot of k pop but can’t dance to save his life. Also one of his fav k pop boy band back when he was younger made him question his sexuality. His main sport is basketball but he come from swimming parents so it’s important that he knows how to swim well, thus he was able to reach the six foot mark by the time he reaches sophomore high school and ended up growing to 6’6. He’s good friends with Spot and Albert (i hc albert moving to Brooklyn at around age 10 before moving back to Manhattan for middle school so). He’s usually the more reserved calm and collected friend and dare I say the tired friend. Not to be confused as the mom friend bcs that’s Spot. Anyways. In some au’s Hotshot to me is a pharmacist or a beauty chemist. Whatever it is, he majored in a chemistry field for college bcs he’s best at chem class back in high school. It just clicks to him for some reason compared to other subjects like biology or economics.

Ok now for Ike. He’s younger than Mike by like 13 minites and Mike holds that over him bcs older brother duty™️. However Ike is taller than Mikd by like 1.5 inches which he holds over him bcs younger brother duty™️. Pretty sure it’s alr widely known that their names are Michael and Issac so yeah i stand by that fanon but i personally think their last name is Alvarez. In some au’s i hc them hving a little sister a year younger than them while other times i don’t. They are Cuban-American. Their parents along with their siblings are Cuban immigrants and gave birth to the twins in America. Ike is autistic while Mike is neurotypical. Throughout his childhood, Ike struggles a lot with sound and touch and regulating his emotions in general but he was mostly non verbal in his earlier years. The only other person he talked to back then was Mike up until like when he’s 8 or so was when he started getting better at his speech. Their mother in short isn’t the best person to be a mother. Safe to say it was for the best that their parents divorced when they were ten.

Ike was considerably the more reserved one between him and Mike but that doesn’t mean he’s not considered a troublemaker bcs in reality he still is. Despite still being able to joke around, he’s quite uptight. When he’s trying to regulate his anger he usually turns to boxing which is smth his father taught him back when he found out the twins were being bullied in elementary school. It serves as a great sport but also a great outlet to let out his anger. He’d punch a punching bag or ask Mike to spar with him. He’d dare to say that without boxing he might still not know how to regulate his anger in his adult years. However he’d say his main sport was soccer since that’s what he played in school teams. That does turn Ike to be a bit feisty, especially when he’s being disrespected. He doesn’t always go for the first punch, only as an act of self defense. Anyways, i hc him majoring in some sort of engineering field. Like he’d get a phd to research environmental engineering (renewable energy and all that stuff). He loves to learn actually and has an interest in technology + environment. He also loves cats. He has a brown cat named bear.

Now how did they ended up together you may ask? They met as a friend of a friend of a friend. Sorta. So while obtaining their bachelors degree, Ike has had bad luck with relationships. All the guys he’s ever liked are… terrible to say the least. He swears off dating until he gets his bachelors. Around his senior year, his good friend racetrack higgins just so happen to have a boyfriend from brooklyn named Spot who was also good friends with Race’s best friends and also Ike’s good friend named Albert. Spot and Albert also had a friend named Hotshot. One night when they were all going out to celebrate them nearly graduating, Ike and Hotshot met for the first time. Ike wld be lying if he said he didn’t find Hotshot to be attractive and Hotshot can’t deny he thought Ike was cute. However nothing happened and they only ever met every now and them in a big friend group setting. And ike was true to himself when he says he’ll put a hold on dating until he gets his bachelors (talk abt academic validation lolz definitely not self projecting here) in the middle of them obtaining their master’s degree, things start to escalate between them. They actually started seeing each other on their own and hv a fun time. When they finally gotten around to a confession (after being pushed by their friends to do it ofc) they started going out and took things slow to see where this was heading. As it turns out, they were a perfect match and ended up becoming more confident and srs with each other.

Hotshot and Ike are both reserved in their nature. Mostly calm and collected but can last in a fight if provoked. They’re not the most sociable person and it takes awhile for them to come out of their shell. So meeting and being comfortable with each other was great. Ike likes that despite the strength Hotshot displays, he is still kind and gentle to others. He’s very caring and sensitive. He gives Ike a sense of peace and security. He also gives the best hugs. Hotshot adores Ike for how careful he is at everything and how supportive he is. Ike is loyal and kinder than he lets himself believe. Ike always tries to better bcs he never really thought he was very great at displaying his affection when really Hotshot feels plenty loved by him. He loves how smart he is and how fun he can be when he’s comfortable but will also defend him till the end when he’s being wronged. He gives Hotshot a sense of comfort and warmth. He’s also feisty which is smth Hotshot finds to be quite cute in an affectionate way.

PREESTABLISHED REFERENCE FOR JAEL.

I entirely get the urge of wanting to roleplay, expand our muses together, and this is my personal starting pack for Jael! If you’re hooked to one category but don’t think your muse can fit still HMU about it and I’ll see how we can work that out! REMINDER I HAVE A LOT OF THREADS. Like often a lot. Roleplaying is something that effortlessly really relaxes me, but I am still one human. I like to see all my threads through no matter how long the wait is and do my best ! Thus we might not be threading right off the bat depending on how much stuff I have, but everything established can get into asks, dash shenanigans, etc. What matters is that it shapes our characters. 🙏

MILITARY PEERS. Be it someone of the same rank, above or below, fellow militaries all have a particular bond by the fact that hey went through roughly the same thing, albeit it can go on the wild side. Be it from another country or from the same place, from being another soldier or the lady that gave food at lunch time, at some point you and Jael were in the same camp. This profile fits any muse who can fit an occupation into a military setting.

MISSION PEERS. Different from military peers, you didn’t necessarily know Jael while he was doing his everyday work, you two collaborated in action, be it to handle a hostage situation or launch an attack on a terrorist camp. Be it in the Middle East where he did earlier service or right in New York City where you had to juggle between politics and doing your duty, you were both on the same case and had to work your way through it. This profile fits any muse who has undergone military type of missions, they do not have to be officials; they can be mercenaries, criminals, anything goes.

BLACK OPS. At the peak of his career, Jael was part of the black operations. Nasty stuff with no records. See the ugly side of the nation, the whole world. A “good” soldier, he followed orders and did like everyone else his best to not be too emotionally scarred. However, as Jael became a branded traitor due to an inside machination from higher ups, several of his peers were killed and he found himself on the run. Whether your character also survived but think of Jael dead or you are still loyal to the army without having been betrayed, you two know what no one else do. This profile fits muses who excels in what they do under military operations, they do not have to be officials; they ca nbe mercenaries, criminals, anything goes. It also targets characters who are in hiding with a convoluted lifestyle.

PAST FRIENDS. At some point in your life, you spent a consequent amount of time in Canada. There, you may have met a young farm boy who scraped his bleeding knees wounds on top of his knees wounds, or a tired young man who drank beers, played hockey and smoked weed with no idea where he was going. Maybe you went to the same secondary school. Although he had a lot of flaws, you befriended this person, maybe you were rivals through the sports team you were sharing or dated after meeting at the park you were both walking your dog at, with who you built youthful memories. This profile fits muses that range around 30+ years old who were at the time chummy enough to attract such a normie jock/slacker.

GIRLFRIENDS. Unlike dates that would be consider past friends, Jael had some serious girlfriends. That lasted several months, maybe even one or two years. They most likely broke up due to his insenstivity and immaturity, most likely your character became an adult while he stayed a kid the whole time. Still, you two spent so much time together, so many memories of young love, that it’s a unique bond that shaped how you both are. This profile fits female muses (or male muses before their transition) who range around 25+ years old. Mostly good-looking people who could handle such a normie like him to consider dating him.

ONE ( ͡° ͜ʖ ͡°). Alcohol was most likely involved. Jael is casual when it comes to sex and your character has caught his fancy. You two spent the night together and… really, that was it. This profile fits female muses (or male muses before their transition) who are casual about sex and are quite open about it, with having, at least at the time, very feminine type of attire, most likely along the mainstream type.

PRISON BREAK. From being in the same gang in the caucasian corner of the yard to the guard he kept bugging when he was born, you were in a high security prison alongside John Smith, which was Jael fake name at the time. His chumminess, loyalty and muscular build helped him be on the good side of others despite the rougth environment. However, he was also known, like it or not, to participate in humiliating others who didn’t do the way they wanted, both sexually and physically to keep the jungle in control. If you ever talked, faught or just ate together, you witnessed John’s behaviour, and then, he broke out and was never seen again. This profile fits male muses who worked in a prison or were jailed.

FARM BOI. Jael grew up on the countryside in a numerous siblings family and like any of those, every mouth to feed at to pull their weight. You were involved in the market, be it as another farm or the kid of the trucker who took the bounty to the city. You saw Jael grow up (quite pathetically, to be honest…) alongside yourself and so many days spent together, although it was work, don’t go unnoticed. Atop of that, it’s always in those areas that town gossip and families pressure to find your future match too. This profile virtually fits any muse who worked actively with farmers.

DRINKING BUDS. He’s nearly 40 and is Canadian; Jael loves beer and will go to any pub that sells chips and nice a microbrewery drink. As a usual drinker yourself, patron gets to know patron, just by sight even, and sometimes exchange a drink or two, unbeknowst at times of the history of the other. This profile fits any muse who likes alcohol (most likely beer) and likes to hang out at common bars.

I’ve gotten back into Hades recently and I really want to be playing it, but I don’t have access to my computer at the moment, so I’m gonna start rambling about the story so far and see where that takes me. You don’t have to read all of it

You play as Zagreus, son of Hades and Persephone, and prince of the underworld. Something I haven’t found out yet happened a long time ago, causing Persephone to leave the underworld for good. Zagreus was raised by Nyx, goddess of night, but realised right before the events of the game that his mother is in fact Persephone. With Nyx’s help, he contacted Olympus to ask for help, and got answers from most of them. They can talk to him but he can’t talk to them, and partly thanks to Nyx, they can’t see him either. They think he’s fighting his way out of the underworld to join them on Olympus, hence the help; he’s actually fighting his way out to find and meet Persephone

So that’s our backstory. So far, I’ve made it to the very end a few times and fought the final boss, Hades himself, at the gates of the underworld. I’ve made it to phase 2 twice but I haven’t quite beaten him yet

I have, however, made some good progress in two subplots:

In the second zone, Asphodel, you can meet Eurydice; she gives you food that can power up the boons the Olympians gave you. You can also meet Orpheus; he’s been sentenced to solitary confinement because he refused to sing, but you can pay to have him brought back to continue serving as Hades’ court musician. However, he still won’t sing

Eventually, Zagreus finds out that they know each other and starts playing messenger. The end of their myth, with Orpheus turning around, seems to have gone kind of like a messy divorce. Eurydice kinda hates him now and wants nothing more to do with him, whereas Orpheus desperately misses her. After a few more conversations with them, you can get Eurydice to write down the song she’s been singing and bring it back to Orpheus. Shortly after, he will start singing it

When you see Eurydice again, she says that you’ve gotten her thinking about Orpheus again and asks what you expect her to do with that. Then gives you food and you leave. That’s as far as I’ve gotten in their storyline, but I do have a prophecy (sort of like a sidequest but not really; you have a list of prophecies like “Zagreus will one day escape the underworld” and you get rewards for fulfilling them) that they will be reunited. And I’ve seen that they sing that song as a duet eventually, but I’ve avoided listening to it before I get to hear it in-game. It’s called Good Riddance, if you want to hear it

Then there’s Achilles. He’s Zagreus’ mentor figure; he taught him how to fight and smuggled him the weapons that you use in escape attempts

When you reach Elysium, you can meet Patroclus, who’s waxing poetic and sitting next to the river Lethe; the one that makes you forget everything when you drink from it. Eventually, Zagreus figures out that Achilles and Patroclus know each other and asks Achilles about it. He asks him to send a message, that he still thinks about Patroclus every day and sends his love. Patroclus doesn’t believe that you actually know Achilles, and I haven’t managed to convince him otherwise yet

After more questions, Achilles will then explain that after he died, he made a pact with Hades; Patroclus would get to go to Elysium instead of Asphodel, and Achilles would serve in the House of Hades for eternity. His logic was that they couldn’t be together regardless, so at least Patroclus gets a better afterlife this way. He doesn’t know that Patroclus doesn’t like Elysium very much, since he doesn’t exactly fit in with the, quote, “braggarts and kings”

And I’m absolutely sure that I can get them reunited at some point, too

So yeah! Hades story! Here’s some random other stuff about that game as well!

Cerberus does guard the gates to the underworld, but he can be bribed with treats because he’s your dog

The boss at the end of Elysium is in fact two people: Theseus and the Minotaur (Asterius). I haven’t learned their backstory just yet, but from what I understand, Theseus somehow and for some reason got Hades to put Asterius in Elysium with him. Anyway, now they’re inseparable. They say they have a brotherhood that Zagreus could never understand. But also, I’m fairly sure Theseus calls Zagreus a homewrecker if/when he starts becoming friends with Asterius. I do know for sure that Asterius reassures Theseus that their bond could never be broken by anyone besides themselves, and to not let Zagreus get in the way of that

I really like Asterius

The weapons have four Aspects each, which are different forms the weapon takes on for different wielders (and each one has a different gimmick that changes how the weapon plays). Each one has one Hidden Aspect, which is a form it will take for someone in the future

And my point here is that in Hades, you can fight the god of the dead himself with the actual Excalibur

And there’s also a dedicated button to pet Cerberus. Great game

Ah yes I have heard of this game but I haven't actually played it yet bc it's a roguelike and roguelike Hard for me. But ooh. Thank yew for the infodump. Any game where you can pet the dog >>>>

Diluc despise crowds as well so most of the time, you'll find yourself spending the time in his embrace as he works through paperworks. Korekiyo-> Another man that much rather prefers the quiet and gentle nature of silence. Being with him, you're bound to receive a large amount of compliments every day! You'd wake up to him caressing the side of your face and smiling fondly at you with so much love in his eyes, pressing a chaste kiss on your forehead before muttering; "Good morning, love." ♡ He's one to compliment your photography skills and may even give you some advice sometimes! Fyodor-> Fyodor, being the closed off man he is, it'll be hard to understand what exactly he's feeling since he doesn't express himself much. However!! He'll be smooth with his words when it's concerning you, tone laced with adoration as it's directed towards you and only you.

Fyodor will be protective over you, it's in his nature. So expect to be pampered by him occasionally, gifts and small acts of affection through hand holdings and hugs from behind. He'd creep up on you and wrap his hand around your waist, placing his head into the crook of your neck, this way he kills two birds with one stone as he gets to be close with you and also warm his cold hands <33

Fyodor also dislikes loud environment so he'll definitely love to spend quiet time with you, indulging in your hobbies and even taking the time to listen to you talk about what you love! He knows a thing or two about books so he'd be more than happy to share with you some of his recommendations!

I'm a bisexual girl with long ish blonde hair and blue eyes. I love doing my makeup and dressing up if the occasion is there, but on a day to day basis i look very ordinary haha.

My main hobby is photography. My dream is honestly traveling the world with my camera, and then come back to a tiny cottage by the sea. I've always lived by the sea and i feel at home there. If i could I'd take walks on the beach everyday with a dog, and sit there reading. And then i don't mean a beach in a tropical environment, I'm from the north and heat is not my thing haha. I also like being creative crafting different things.

there’s nothing wrong with ordinary. in fact, despite his recent change of opinion, matthias grew up thinking ordinary was beautiful. the girls where he’s from don’t do extravagant things to make themselves look good, so he wouldn’t care either way whether or not you did something to look different. the only think he would care about is if you were confident and happy with yourself, because you were beautiful to him however you chose to present yourself. he would appreciate the occasional dress up, though. he likes seeing you smile.

i think matthias is also very connected to the sea. and he has absolutely no problem with the cold, he probably prefers it honestly. he’s so used to it. i think he’d want to settle down somewhere quiet and peaceful, so he could focus on you and be away from all the chaos. an ordinary life full of ordinary things was more than enough for him. all his love was focused on you, he didn’t need any distractions from that. i do think he’d enjoy traveling a bit, just to see other cultures. as his perspective started to change, he’d realize what he had been told about other cultures was untrue. he’d want to see the truth for himself, following you all over the world to experience it with you. this meant visiting kaz in the barrel, and wylan and jesper in the kerch countryside. going to ravka and seeing the little palace and nikolai and nina, or novyi zem and seeing jesper’s hometown. he’d take you to fjerda if you wanted to go. they may preach hate, but there’s still some things that are part of his culture that are worth seeing, and he’d value you respecting that. he’d protect you from the rest, never letting anyone disrespect you or your own culture.

he’d really understand you seeing yourself as a fighter. while he hates that you’ve had hard things happen to you in your life, he adores the fact that you’ve had the courage to push on and keep going. it’s inspiring to him, and it makes him believe he can do it, too. matthias has been through quite a lot in his short lifetime as well. he carries the burden of his past mistakes on his shoulders, and he spends every day trying to make up for his sins. he’d do everything he could to protect you from your own trauma, helping you in any way you’d let him. he had never known a peace like the one he feels now before meeting you, and although he’d love to travel with you and go on adventures, all he’d really want to do is sit with you by your little house on the beach in a nice secluded area, maybe with a dog at your side. all he wants to do is love you and love life, and was content wherever he was, as long as it’s by your side.

you’d be sitting on the shoreline of the beach just outside your home together, a book in your hand, and your shared dog at your side. matthias would wake up to see you already outside. he couldn’t help but smile at the sight of you, grabbing a blanket and coming to sit next to you. your dog would get up and settle himself next to matthias’s side.

you’d huff, although your feelings weren’t really hurt. “that dog likes you more than me. it’s infuriating.”

he’d smile, draping the blanket around your shoulders as he spoke. “what are you reading, my love?”

you’d smile at him, leaning into his side. “a book kaz gave me last time we were in ketterdam. he said it was too “apple pie” for him. that’s probably why i like it so much.”

matthias would quirk a brow in confusion. “apple pie?”

“ordinary,” you’d rephrase. “small, comfortable. in kaz’s words: boring. as if kaz wouldn’t give up every cent he had for an apple pie life with inej.”

matthias would chuckle at your words, pulling you closer. “that is not the life either of them have chosen. they wouldn’t choose it for each other. they wouldn’t be content…not like i am.”

you’d playfully scoff, although your heart would warm at his words.

“you’re such a softie, aren’t you?”

“only for you, my love.”
