The Justice league finds out about the new high king of the infinite realms when he walks into a UN peace conference to discuss that the US has preemptively declared war on his people with the signing of the anti-ecto acts and how he would very much like to avoid war with other UN members.

[kuzco’s bones added to inventory] fuck yeah.

Okokok so my main thought is not only is the Justice League freaking out, but the Green Lanterns are as well. An entire dimension worth of beings warning that an entire planet accidentally threatened war upon them? Yeah that’s very much so within their jurisdiction.

The League is freaking out and are afraid that this leader of this dimension may be extremely hostile but when they arrange a meeting, they find out that its just a teenager. From what Constantine informed the League, looks can be deceiving for Ghosts. Their bodies wont change but they may be centuries old and still look like a child.

First impression: The King does his best to be formal and stern but the second the meeting but Batman could easily see that this was simply practiced high class etiquette in place. They discuss the repeal of the antiecto acts and the further actions that would be needed to prevent something like this from happening again. The King seems to be relatively new at this but is fairing well and learnt much in his very recent acquisition of the throne.

Second impression: The second the scheduled meeting was over the King’s mannerisms did a full 180. From a stoic King to a very unsure teen. After cautiously and shyly asking a few questions to Superman and Martian Manhunter about their planets and history, the boys mannerisms fully flipped. He was now just a very excited kid who was excited in learning about space.

Discussions went back and forth for many hours. The boy threw bits and pieces of information about forcefully acquiring the throne and the stress it caused him into his conversations without even recognizing it. Did… did the boy briefly mention his family trying to dissect him?!

Ok yeah. The League had only known this all powerful teen for no more than 8 hours but they would already fight the armies of Darkseid for him.

I Am Your Dad But Also Not?

[DPxDC Week 2023 Day 7: Clockwork // Accidental Baby Acquisition // Misunderstanding]

• In which, Danny is Richard Grayson from an alternate universe (the dna matches even if all the names and history don’t)

“Papa, hold me!” The words were Danny’s only warning before the bundle of flying child plowed into him. He spun with the momentum, hands quickly gripping the little girl so she didn’t go tumbling away.

Despite her sure and enthusiastic greeting, she was not in fact Danny’s child. Or maybe she is now? He’s starting to get really confused. Apparently he looks and feels like her dad since she’s so clearly attached herself to him. Clockwork’s cryptic smiling is not helpful so he takes his newly acquired magical toddler and leaves.

At least he’s assuming her powers are magic or something. The last time he tried asking something that “obviously papa knows already” she got a look not dissimilar to a sad baby seal. Sad baby seals are not something Danny can resist evidently.

So, asking Clockwork is out and asking the child in question is out. Danny is running out of options and he has half a mind to just assume she’s his child from the future.

Luckily Danny is a genius, maybe not literally but his point still stands.

His idea? Brilliant.

Implementation? Flawless.

Hotel? Trivago.

The little one is outgoing enough that when Danny prompts her to introduce herself to Sam and Tucker (visiting on holiday), she goes off into a rambling of questions and information without even pausing for anyone to answer her questions.

That’s how they learn that she’s Mar’i Grayson and she lives in Blüdhaven most of the time, except when her Papa and Mama go on trips, then she’s stays with Grandpa Alfie and Grandpa B and Uncle Damian, but also sometimes Uncle Damian comes to stay with her and Mama and Papa because he sometimes gets into disagreements with Grandpa B.

She says disagreements in such a careful and proud way that Danny makes sure Sam and Tucker compliment her on her awesome vocabulary.

That just leaves them with the problem of getting Mar’i back to her own home dimension and parents, who are probably worried sick by her disappearance.

Danny really really hopes that Mar’i’s actual dad and mom have such an abnormal life that they might be able to find the infinite realms because trying to find her exact universe from his side of things without Clockwork’s help will be nigh on impossible

He really hopes she’ll recognize her real dad. Danny is not equipped for parenthood.

Or at least not equipped for a toddler. He was able to skip the whole toddler part with Ellie.

Speaking of Ellie and her horrible timing, she has chosen this exact time to get back from her grand adventure aka traveling the worlds and she proceeds to laugh so hard she can’t even stay on her feet. She resorts to floating along behind Danny and Mar’i cackling and occasionally heaving non great gasps of air only to fall back into the laughing cycle once more.

Danny’s shooing motions are ineffective and he’s not about to show a five-year-old the violence or language necessary to get Ellie to go away.

When she finally does stop laughing, she starts snapping pictures at every angle she can imagine. Which is a lot given that she’s a half ghost like Danny. She has yet to let her feet touch the ground but that doesn’t bother Mar’i who seems to have similar ideas about gravity. Her own feet rarely touching the floor as soon as she realized that beings work differently in the zone.

In the end Danny can only keep the ruse of fatherhood up for a couple of days. Mar’i is no fool even if she is five. She figures him out and she’s not even mad when he explains that he didn’t want her to be scared if she knew she was alone with strangers in a new place like this. Her magnanimous forgiveness is one of the best things Danny has ever experienced. He understands why people have kids now.

At the end of a week with no news from Clockwork and an increasingly homesick Mar’i, Danny takes her back to Clockwork’s tower to demand some action himself or at least get some ridiculous riddle to keep him and Mar’i occupied until the “time is right.”

Clockwork’s smile upon their arrival is bordering on deranged in Danny’s eyes and he hugs Mar’i closer as though to protect her from Time’s hands.

“It is time,” the god says and bangs his staff on the metal flooring of the tower.

Before Danny can demand an answer about that, a portal opens beneath him and both he and Mar’i go tumbling through.

YOOOO by my time, I am not late on any of these prompts (even though they are a lot shorter and more vague than I’d like. Can’t help it with the thumbs being the way they are). But like legit I am proud of myself. Deadlines are a thing I struggle with especially when it comes to writing. But I’m finally getting better with it. Middle school and high school me would both be crying tears of joy rn.

I love that we started with found family fluff and ended with it. Danny and Mar’i are going to have a very lovely and entertaining adventure together. It’ll be great.

“Yeah, Cyborg and I noticed,” he says, smirking at Tim in amusement, who feels a little bit like an idiot over forgetting about anything as basic as Vic’s security and Kon’s powers, but under the circumstances is going to forgive himself.

“Scans all clear?” he checks.

“So far,” Vic says, glancing up from his tablet. “Far as I can tell, the kid’s all clear on trackers, chips, and anything suspicious. How’s the DNA?”

“Looks stable to me, but we’re going to want a second opinion,” Tim says. "This isn't my specialty."

“Right,” Kon says, not doing a very good job at concealing the flash of relief at hearing the word “stable”. “I know a couple people I could look up, maybe.”

Well, he would, Tim supposes. And he doesn’t know if he wants to have the Justice League doing those tests right now, because it’s going to remind them of how Kenley was created and reinforce their impression of the kid as a metaweapon, which would . . . not be ideal, to put it mildly.

Tim is also a very paranoid man, when it comes to it.

the strawhats land on an island that is having a bit of a pick-pocket problem caused by a sneaky young girl and dont think much about it cuz same-old same-old, yknow? its just one kid so how bad could it be?

until she pick-pockets sanjis lighter, thus leading the crew on a wild goose chase, constantly spotting her just to hit dead ends or see her appear somewhere else. a devil-fruit user, they assume. finally after two days of scooby doo-like chase sequences, theyre able to capture the child

only for it to turn out, no, she doesnt have devil fruit powers, she is actually just one half of a pair of twins pretending to be one singular little girl to better enable their thievery! mystery solved, sanji demands for his lighter back....

only for the room to be thrown into chaos when a third little girl causes the roof to cave in on them

because its actually triplets pretending to be one singular girl and the last one is here to rescue her sisters =)))

this leads to a long series of shenanigans, including the girls stowing away on the sunny to get back at the strawhats for blowing their scheme, constantly stealing and hiding sanjis lighter from him, and being general nuisances that eventually leads to playful gags and eventually bonding, with the crew, particularly sanji amd zoro, dreading their eventual departure when they reach the next island

(sanji gives them the nickname of 'eenie, meenie, and moe' after they refuse to tell them their names. unfortunately for him, zoro's nicknames for him quickly enter the girls' vocabulary in turn)

Castlevania x Accidental Baby Acquisition AU Part3

Okay, I just love the Alastor is a Belmont AU and I couldn't resist making Lucas related to him that way.

One of Dracula's cult leaders had the bright idea to try and fight fire with fire so to speak. They figured that while kidnapping was an option, it could get messy real quick and tip off the remaining Belmont and their allies they're up to something.

Cult leader remembered that one particular Belmont was successfully killed via bullet to the skull and torn limbs so he asked his cronies to fetch some samples. While their science isn't as advanced yet they had black magic in spades.

There were limits though and the cult leader soon figured out they needed one other to create the baby. While they could use a vampire or some other creature, they decided to aim higher in terms of parentage. They managed to tweak the ritual so the baby will have a connection to the powers of hell and be "blessed" by a tiny sliver of Lucifer's power.

The baby was "born" soon after and Alastor Belmont now has a "son" they could use against their whole family. Once they were done, they couldn't resist naming him Lucas after the King of Hell himself.

Life went on and they assigned Lucas caretakers. Once he was grown enough combat and magic lessons would start.

Time passed and Lucas' lessons began. He excelled in everything but couldn't help but feel something was off. Turns out the cult was starting his generation's world domination plot.

The cult leader that started this all decided to sway him to their cause and tell him of their war with the Belmont family which was a big mistake. Unfortunately for Mr. Cult Leader, Lucas took after his "parents" a little too much.

Despite Mr. Cult Leader pulling all the propaganda tricks in the book, Lucas didnt want to fight for their cause. This is Alastor's son after all. While there was enjoyment to be found in slaughtering his enemies, he wasn't interested in killing the weak.

He kept quiet about it though and looked for an opportunity to escape or better yet take the entire cult down just so he won't have to go in hiding.

Long story short, Lucas managed to sway a good chunk of cult members to his side and there was a Rebellion™. Lucas' faction wiped out the rest of the cult and saved the world ala Belmont tradition.

Unfortunately, as much as he excelled at combat and magic there was still the fact he was very young. He saved the world but it was a pyrrhic victory. Him and his faction succumbed to their injuries.

The next time he woke up, he was in heaven. Turns out his Rebellion™ saved so many lives he became an angel in death. The rest of his faction was there too and didn't seem to hold any grudges which was a relief.

All the events that came next, more or less followed part 1 in the Accidental baby Acquisition AU

Gay wrongs tournament, round one of the major bracket

For Kid and Killer:

there’s some somewhat recent anime episodes where there’s a lot of “I would do anything for you” “I would put my life on the line for you” and it’s just. There’s no way they’re not dating. Also they’re big scary pirates that pillage and fuck stuff up and we love that for them

They have been together committing crimes and killing people ever since childhood and they’re not about to stop any time soon

They are badass pirates who both have a huge bounty on their head. Killer's epithet is 'Massacre Soldier/Murder Mashine' (depending on the translation), so he probably got quite some blood on his hands. Kid is his captain, and has a reputation of not caring about civilian casualties and destroying more than necessary to defeat his opponent. Also, the whole crew crusified some other crew. But besides being murderous, these two care so fucking much about each other! They've been friends (lovers?) since childhood and would literally do anything for each other, including dying. Kid will destroy anyone who laughs at his partner (how he canonically calls Killer), lets himself be recaptured just after he escaped prison to save his partner, and Killer eats a faulty SMILE fruit that stops him from portraying any other emotion than laughing, makes him unable to swim, and doesn't gain him any powers, just to get a CHANCE to save his captain. When Kid saw him laugh while he obviously didn't want to, it broke his heart in many pieces (and ours with it). It's true love, your honor. True, murderous love.

For Kazuki and Rei:

they're essentially contract killers. rei comes from a long line of assassins and kazuki fell into the profession by circumstance. they're 'best friends' who live together and work on their hitman cases together. they're on one of these cases when they find themselves in an accidental baby acquisition situation and suddenly unasaka miri, aged 4, is their daughter. now all that's left is for them to forge a bunch of documents to get miri into daycare! they desperately juggle being fathers and assassins until eventually they realise they'd rather run a diner, and they live happily ever after with their daughter.

They're hitmen. They share an apartment. They end up raising a kid together (after killing her dad). They try to give that kid a normal life, but are terrible at it in complimentary ways.

Assassin partners who end up adopting a child.

Okay so apparently I have an idea for another Ninjago Au based on season 4 mostly the scene where Kai has the staff of elements.

So pretty much after Kai broke the staff of elements everyone got their powers back except for Kai leaving him powerless (as some sort of punishment?) and with a little bit of corruption from the time he held his staff. I sense his eyes stayed permanently red color.

Even though Chen was defeated the powers of Kai still didn't come back.

Sometimes Kai can be a little unstable lashing out at everyone even when he doesn't tend to do it. Kai is still part of missions but the whole powerless thing leaves him very frustrated.

Part of me thinks the relationship between the whole team is strained even though they are trying their best to help Kai, but they sometimes give up when Kai refuses to accept their help, everyone wants to find a way to bring back his powers but is useless as they haven't find anything.

Now a tricky part of the au is that Kai with time comes distant to everyone and stays in his room for hours no body knows what he is doing in there but they respect his privacy, meanwhile Kai is messing with dark magic from a book that perhaps belonged to Clouse (haven't figured this out yet) and he mastered some sort of fire abilities through the book but he kept this mostly to himself not sure how the others would react of the idea of him using dark magic.

Another thing I forgot to mention is that Nya gets her powers earlier since the team needs the most help possible during missions so Master Wu starts training her immediately, meaning Nya gives up her Samurai X stuff to become a full time ninja, also some of these gadgets Kai uses them when he is in the mood to join missions and help the team.

Okay i mentioned that Kai kept his dark magic and fire a secret from everyone? Well while fooling around with his dark magic he accidentally poofed a baby into existence making him go into panic and seeking help from the team including Master Wu who just stare in shock at the baby that Kai is holding, in other words accidental baby acquisition that just poofed out of nowhere due to dark magic.

Oh yeah the only two of my Ninjago oc's that stay in this Au are Alev and Etsu, Alev well her powers remind Kai too much of what he lost and well Etsu is the baby that poofed out of nowhere.

Might be calling this new Au: Dark Fire Au, but anyway this way just some aimless rambling from me, this idea seems fun to develop so might as well developed furthermore.
