The Valkyries was comprised of Mary, Marlene and Lily. It was created to rival the Marauders in a Gryffindor Tower talent contest. Mary was lead singer, Marlene was on drums and Lily was on guitar. Alice chose the music for them, being a big fan of ABBA, a lot of the songs they covered were from them.

The group was a massive success. The Slytherin girls got involved. The notorious Dorky, Dora, Rory and Rita decided to become backup dancers, choreographing routines and styles for the band.

Soon the band became more than a band. It was a unity. Every girl at Hogwarts wanted to be a Valkyrie and whilst of course the group itself were the official Valkyries, the title was for everyone. The girls bathrooms had secret etchings on sinks of wings, microphones or even just the word Valkyrie. Molly Prewett even created a spell to unmask messages so girls started secretly creating large art forms on Hogwarts walls that could only be unmasked by using the spell.

Remus even found “I am a Valkyrie” etched onto Sirius’ trunk.

The Marauders were historic but the Valkyries were a legacy and the originals were legends. Over the years, the names of the original members got lost in translation, the stories of them being told as almost folklore.

Ginny Weasley showed Hermione where to find the images and told her the stories her mum had told her.

Years later, Rose Granger-Weasley stood at the foot of a wall and silently whispered the spell under her breath. The wall lit up with the image of girls her own age, standing on a stage, the background resembling an old version of the Gryffindor common room. They all looked familiar but she couldn’t quite remember where from.

Just then, Lily Luna Potter came around the corner and stopped in her tracks.

“That’s my Grandma” she smiled, for the first time feeling the true impact of her name.

This musical is highly recommended and a must watch! I love how they put a story in ABBA songs. I'm very obsessed with all the songs. I like everything👌. Dancing Queen and Super Trouper are the front tier. Though the storyline is not that great for me because many argued that they messed up in the second installation's timeline, like how unnecessary Cher's character was lol. I also believe that Amanda Seyfried's character could've done better. Meryl Streep was just a versatile actress. Colin Firth is my favorite in all of Sophie's fathers but Bill is the real father as per everyone's prediction. I'm also obsessed with Mamma Mia's theme/motif, the costumes, the people and the place, Greece😭, I really wanted to go there. I badly wanted to have a party or attend a party that plays Mamma Mia's soundtrack with unlimited food, haha SOON! I'm currently waiting in their third part, I really wish that it's not real that they're just going to add like three new songs, oh please add mooooreee.
