so I wanna do a little trip/photo dump of my latest jeffy adventure. I may delete this who knows but for now, adventures below!

I tbh wasn't at my best during this trip, I had a bit of a not fun ocd episode while traveling and I do feel like I spent most of the trip trying to get back to my baseline okayness - so to my lovely friends and travel partners thanks for being awesome and treating me with kindness!! I really, really appreciated it 💖💖

okay now time for obnoxious trip slideshow haha

chiang rai was beautiful. we went to an insanely gorgeous garden cafe on the first day

on the second, we went to the white and blue temples

btw I love doing street photography so 2 of my favs from chiang rai:

tbh by the time Jeff was onstage I'd been standing around since 2pm (he got on stage...at 10pm 😭) the things We Do for Barricade. I was soooo sweaty and frazzled by then

it was a very cool set up tho! it was a little music festival, lots of food/etc, and they lit up hot air balloons over our heads

we saw a few performers and slot machine!! who were right before jeff. finally got to see them live and ohmygod did they pop off!! at one point they were in front of us just tearing up the stage for ages, they threw guitar picks at us haha (I did not catch one lol)

and then jeff.....look we all know how that went down

but here's a screenshot of when he Looked at me the first time and i fucking realized if I can see them.....they can see me. no??? jfc i think i like super reacted, flailed backwards a bit I think. i prefer to not beobserved okay?? but anyway and that's why he came for my throat later i believe. demon

then look after jeff it was just jumpscare after jumpscare, bumping into his band member at midnight in our hotel lobby (all the musicians and sound crew were having a big drinking party on the steps of the hotel. jeff wasn't there tho) and then the next morning bumping into rasika checking out etc etc

okay some of my fits on the trip! day 1, then jeffy day and the next travel day, which ended up being the Day we followed Jeff and his team around at the airport, unintentionally

each of these in front of the cupboard nowhere near as good as jeffs lol

some of the treasures i got at the show! these are mainly bread's amazing creations. @patpran thank you so much i adore my jeffy cat stickers ;.;

also (made by another fan) the jeffy pop socket i'm screaming,,,,,should i put it on my phone..

okay now bkk!! i got a few street shots cause i love doing that

then witnessed jeff on the bts and found some cat pants

and went plus size shopping at platinum mall. i knew about the names before hand but oh my god im laughing

and then!!! bang sue junction, which is mile and apo's fav hang out spot for vintage shopping. sadly we didn't bump into them. but it was such an awesome place to explore

we also wrote a lil letter each and wrapped up some presents to send to jeff. i would like to say it takes 2+ ppl to puzzle out a thailand post box and how to put it together (and there was only 2 of us at that point lol ;.;)

okay i was gonna add more but that's heaps, i think. despite my brain being frazzled 24/7 on this trip it was a good one. thank you so much to @patpran who showed me all the cool places and was a very lovely travel partner!!! you were awesome!!!

i'm honestly so grateful i got to go, and have these experiences ahhhhh, i'm gonna treasure it (sorry post trip emo-ness) anyway i gotta get back to work now but, if you've read this far, you're a star haha <3

Which Project Sekai group do you think would sing each PokéMiku song?

VERY good question that made me actually sit down and listen to all of the Project Voltage songs lmao

This got long so everything past the first two are under the cut!

TL;DR: 4 L/N, 4 MMJ, 4 VBS, 4 WxS, 3 n25

Volt Tackle- I think for just Volt Tackle itself, L/N could rock it since parts of it remind me of songs like Teo or Hibana -Reloaded-. However, for the Jewel Remix, VBS would be the ones to cover it and you cannot change my mind on that. It’d be really cool if in-story this was one of L/N’s songs and VBS decided to remix and cover it

Electricity Forecast- The Viridian Forest theme (one of my favorite themes in all the games and not only because of Yellow) seals to me that this would be an n25 song. I really have no defense for it other than that but honestly tell me it doesn’t fit. Like I could see an argument for VBS but I think n25 would slay this

What Kind of Future- I could see MMJ doing some kind of collaboration with Pokemon and covering this song, like them kind of incorporating the “attacks” in their choreography or something like that. The beat also reminds me of some of their songs, like Newly Edgy Idols. I can definitely see this on an idol stage. I also think at least Minori would be amused by all of the puns XD

The Pokemon Inside My Heart- This one for sure gives WxS, especially on the gaming side of things. You know if this were a song in-universe Nene would cover it even on her own. It honestly reminds me of some of their more chill songs as a group, and honestly feels kind of reminiscent of Starry Sky Melody for some reason?? That might just be me

Battle! (Hatsune Miku)- VBS hands-down, are you kidding? I don’t even think I have to justify my choice here

Fly With You- It’s telling the story of Mudkip and Pelipper, so I think WxS would cover this just on the storytelling ground, y’know? I could see it being a show on Wonder Stage

I GOT YOU!- VBS, and again I don’t really think I have to justify this choice lol, I also think this is one of my favorites so far

JUVENILE- L/N both based on the overall sound and the themes in the lyrics! Very fitting imo. Tell me I’m wrong I dare you

I’m a Ghost Type- I was originally going to say VBS, but I honestly think that n25 could handle this song slightly better? I’m still kind of torn between them but I’m going to say final answer n25 because they do deserve some hard-hitting beats like this, plus n25 has done several syudou songs before that went well

GO! Team BIDOOF- I’m kind of caught between MMJ and WxS for this one, but I think I’m leaning towards WxS just because it’s giving Niccori and I love Niccori lol (edit a second after I wrote this: they’re produced by the same producer so that’s probably why I kept drawing parallels between the two lmaooooo)

Awoo- n25 is probably gonna end up getting all the spooky-themed songs tbh but I really do think they’d do well with this one lol

Encounter- I’m split between MMJ and L/N but this also reminds me of Torinoko City so I think I’m going to give it to MMJ. Both groups fit the lyrics “‘You’re stronger than you were back then”/Even though I’ve grown up/Nothing seems to have changed, does it?” but MMJ gets the edge in terms of the sound of the song imo since it also lowkey gives Watashi wa, Watashitachi wa

Eon Ticket- I gotta go with L/N for this one, I mean just listen to it (I am maybe a little biased that marasy also produced Aoku Kakero! which is one of my favorite L/N covers)

PARTY ROCK ETERNITY- Another where I’m between VBS and n25!! Ahhhhh I think for this one I’m going to go with VBS on this one. This is another one of my favorite Project Voltage songs now lol

Journey’s Prequels, Journey’s Traces- WxS for this one, it just Gives Them

Psychic Psychic- I want to say MMJ for this one and I have no idea why. I think it kind of reminds me of Melty Land Nightmare vibes?

MELLOMELLOID- This one, oddly enough, had me split between MMJ and n25, but I think this reminds me too much of Darling Dance to not give it to MMJ

Glorious Day- I would love hearing L/N do this one, so I'm gonna have to give it to them!

ngl I think that at first he didn't care THAT much, like okay maybe u had extra work to do, maybe you slept in (which actually would earn you a scolding)

but when he hears from your friends that you are sick? he's very much worried

he makes some time in his oh so busy schedule to visit you

when he comes to visit I don't he'd get TOO close to you

like he brings u water, cuts up some fruit for you so you can get your vitamins maybe makes you some tea and he gives it to you while you are in bed but he won't hug you or like sit next to you for too long

oh! and he definetky acts like he wasn't worried and like he "just had some extra time"

as if he didn't spend almost an hour figuring out what he should and shouldn't get out of his schedule in order to visit

I think he'd justvsit in a chair next to your bed and talk to you about his day

unless you have a headache, then I think he'd do some of his work but like still in a chair near your bed

overall pretty good, pretty great, he has the Mid seal of Approval™️

mans is a busy guy, VERY busy guy

he almost doesn't realise you were not at school, until floyd comes in complaining during lunchtime cause "shrimpy is sick" and "he's bored without shrimpy"

after school he doesn't go directly to the monstro lounge and instead visits you

I feel like merfolks' and humans' bodies would react differently to sickness

so he KINDA knows what to do (having also read a lot of books and knows some stuff) but he doesn't KNOW KNOW what to do

he's a bit awkward but he definetly tries to keep on that "cool fish mafia boss, gang leader of the fish" facade on

lowkey fails but don't tell him that

he doesn't stay too long as he has work to do, unless you tell him to, then he's not moving

he'd leave and then visit again, maybe even bring you some painkillers to help

he definetly makes jade check up on you if he's too busy

somehow makes a potion in alchemy that makes you feel better quicker?? mans just invented new medicine??

but it tastes like total crap tbh

overall also good, also has the Mid seal of approval™️

Jamil Viper

he'd notice relatively quickly that you're gone and would discreetly ask about it

once he finds out he's worried but he can't just leave kalim alone

but when he cooks lunch for kalim he makes you soup<3

he then gives you said soup during lunchtime and he spends as much of his lunchtime as he can with you

knows what medicine, foods andstuff in general you need and he gives it to you

when it's club time and he has time away from kalim he comes to visit

WHO NEEDS BASKETBALL AMIRIGHT??

out of the three, he's the one that would be more caring, not cause the other two aren't, just cause he knows what he's doing

he too sits down and rants about his day, but unlike the other two he sits on the bed next to you

he does not let you touch your phone, if you're bored then you better sleep cause he's not giving you that phone till you feel better

kalim comes to visit at some point, followed by a grumpy jamil

overall, he gets the Mid award™️ for who to call when you're sick

Ok most of this is insane rambling but for one part of it you’re going to need to remember Bethany the Ballet Fairy’s tragic backstory of having a gay quarter life crisis because of a homoerotic ballet rivalry with a girl who she loses the lead role in a show to please and thank you

Ashley Dragon looks like a dragon version of nessie the loch ness monster, which is a great design tbh DRAGON ON THE JEANS YES Also different versions of dragons! we love diversity Outfit does not match but she makes me not care! It’s different colours but its the right shade of each colour (this is such good colour theory knowledge El well done) HAIR EXCELLENCE Pockets! Sandals are not the right shade of yellow, it should match the top or the dragon on the trousers - also the chunky looking design is ugly, she needs to either go barefoot or have jesus sandals

Lara So well put together oh my god This is a witch not a fairy Adorable kitty! Cat lady vibes (cardigan) but super super cool (skinny jeans and boots) I am WEAK for those boots omg Lovely hair as well

Erin How is her hair literal fire??? Idk but I am Loving It Lara’s a witch, Erin is a goddess Freckles!!!!!! THIS is how you do a headband! The honeysuckle fire flower thing? HEADCANONS: please remember Bethany’s backstory again thank you! This is the girl who takes the role of Odette in Bethany’s dance company, and the girl with whom Bethany has a homoerotic rivalry. Sophia weaponises flirting because it amuses her, especially aggressive flirting, like Bethany can be leaning against a wall and Sophia will come and put her leg up on Bethany’s shoulder. Sophia just delights in getting really close to her all the time. Sophia is into Bethany, Bethany is into her, Bethany knows neither of these facts. She has a high ponytail when she’s doing ballet and it just makes Bethany's brain go offline. Later in life they’ll run into each other, when Sophia has a high-powered ballet girlfriend and Bethany has her wife the costume designer and her really chill life. Sophia will apologise for making Bethany freak out but she really was into Bethany, and Bethany will reply yeah you fucked up my life for sure, but I don’t think I would have quit without you so thanks. Also your leg gave me horny nightmares.

This is gonna be a long one so strap in 😂 tbh ive been a tad apprehensive today about going purely cause of what ive seen in Twitter (and we all know its bullshit but it sent my anxiety reeling). this probably isnt exclusive to harry but the people around me standing werent super friendly (i say this off the back of mcr in which you buddied up with the people around you in an instant for mosh pit safety) but we move - this soon changed and i found friends (going solo can be tricky) but there were still some bad vibes. i got to the venue literally as doors opened so ended up at the back (which for Brixton is still very good)

The pre show playlist is VERY one direction heavy. H is lierally the biggest fan.

cannot even begin to describe how good he was, the crowd were insane and there was a moment during little freak where he genuinely looked surprised at how many people knew the words. Matilda made me sob but whats new there, especially when he prefaced it by saying we had to make sure we loved ourselves.

mitch literally hid in the darkness when harry talked about writing sings with him - this poor man just wanta to play guitar in peace bless him

anne was there and he apologised for some of the lyrics he was singing including cocaine, sideboob choke her with a sea view

before boyfriend's he read out a sign from a girl whose boyfriend had slept with her best friend. safe to say some strong words were said - this is a family show.....or is it 😂

had lil break which was nice and they whacked the ac up which cooled us all off.

adore you and watermelon sugar wete epic as always - he said something about it being to do with oral sex (i may have misheard) - there was also some very vulgar signs toward the front that people held up during 😡

his rendition of wmyb is interesting? im not sure how i feel but i had a great time anywho. Ended on kiwi and my god his lil dancey dances ate adorable, he made sure to baptise the first few rows at least (if not more) with water.

it was amazing, i cant wait till june and it felt so intimate to be in such a small venue - it didnt feel like he was hartd styles the household name, it felt mire like we'd all popped in for a lil sing song 🥺

Sorry if I get too excited answering these!!!

I pretty much like all of them, they all have their own charm! My absolute favorite is Ludis Mergas because he’s a cutie cinnamon roll :,) fell in love with him ever since the Lukedonia Invasion arc came out!

I like and welcome all ships, (except for one) I think they’re all dynamic and interesting! My favorite is Ludis/Rozaria.

For other ships that I think are pretty cool (not in a particular order & a few are reverse flexible) : Tao/Takeo, Regis/M-21, Regis/Rael, Frankenstein/Lunark, Raskreia/Karias, Raskreia/Rozaria, Karias/Razark, Kei/Rozaria, Juraki/Dorant, Ignes/Maduke, Previous Lord/Muzaka, and many more that will just make the list too long XD

Other stuff and anything really… oh boy that’s gonna be LONG haha!! (there are mild spoilers below so take care; maybe only read if you’ve finished the series!)

To make it a lot shorter (still veery long) I have:

Rai: OMG. Our titular protagonist. Pure beauty and elegance. I think I first got into this manhwa when I was in 8th or 9th grade and I’ve never came across a protagonist that left such a deep impact in my memory until Rai. Just everything. I think every single one of my notebooks and homework papers had Rai doodles all over them, haha XD I love his cute sides too!!!! Ramen forever 🍜 Also I think his concept of being Noblesse is quite an intriguing. Being bound to loneliness due to his position/status as that silent guardian being, but eventually finding his own family and home. It all resonates too well ;-;

Frankenstein: tbh, in the past I was never too fond of him since there were some contradicting parts of his character that I found a little hard to like, but now I can see how him being morally grey has a charm of its own and he is a fascinating character . That maniacal side? And the purple from Dark Spear to contrast his beautiful gradient blonde hair?? So interesting!

M-21: Ahhhhh. Ah! ah! Another one of my favorites :,) his backstory and character growth is probably one of the most impressive ones. There is just so much DEPTH to him. Also his ever growing and changing werewolf transformation is just so fascinating!! Love his visual design very much too!

Takeo: Gun expert & purple hair beauty. Calm and has a funny side. That’s all I need to say ;,) His design in terms of outfits is probably one of THE BEST (especially in DA-5 form)

Tao: Computer expert mushroom boy!!! I love how chill he is, he’s always so funny!!! He’s always the one to suggest and do bizarre ideas which is part of why I like him! And the black nail polish Omg…

The four children: I love them for being there with us from beginning to end!!! Showing Rai what an ordinary life is like, and caring for him when they notice something is wrong. Little angels

Regis: Cutie pie!!! Landegre is one of my favorite clans and I love how interesting his personality is. Just being overly concerned with elegance and he tries so hard XD Love his determination and care for his friends! Also his design is just SO cool with the black streaks in his hair.

Seira: ahhhhh that long silver hair. Her fighting style with Death Scythe. A girl of a few words, but can sometimes be very expressive. And those blushes when she gets praised!!!

Rael: another one where we see HUGE character development!! I love his attitude, both before and after XD nice design too!!

Razark: Dutiful, determined, and cares for his family. Too beautiful. Him wielding Kartas? And his noble attire design and the Kertia bat matif in general??? Perfect!!!

Karias: I love how he doesn’t act like your typical noble and is very funny! His messy hair… the roses he always has at hand… that flashy outfit.. and his bow Amor!!!! Too good!!!

Gejutel: okay gramps is just like. One of my favorite characters. Who doesn’t love gramps the invincible!!!!

Ludis: Baby!!!! My absolute favorite from the series!!!! I love how he’s super interesting in human activity like tea parties and housekeeing,,, so cheerful,,,, and that round head?? Those bangs??? The green aura he emits and Izarok??? For me, the closest that gets to what people would call a fictional character crush!! He’s just smol and precious. Give him his tea party ;-;

Rozaria: one of the coolest big sisters on the block. I like how the clan leaders/noble families all have a different inspiration to them; a lot them are melee/fighting type and I really LOVE how they gave her a different approach with that witch/magic caster vibe. That red hair… those glasse… the fur coat and dress… the heels… she’s just beautiful!! I love her special sister relationship with Seira too!

Kei: I don’t see many people talk about him or at all really, but also one of my favorites! (i love nobles in general too) His guantlets are super cool and I love how he’s like on the extreme end of melee fighters. His messy hair and martial arts style in general… just so cool! I like how the theme just POPS out so much like that. And that Tiger motif. Probably one of my favorite subjects to draw!

Raskreia: oh my,,,, I just love her so much. Don’t even know how to put into words but her inner struggles really resonates with me somehow, relating with her to a certain degree. The things she has to bear and overcome, and she did it in her own way which is really fascinating! Also that design… the hairstyle especially the braided bun…. And her outfit… and SOUL WEAPON…. they come together to form a beautiful character. Also one of my favorites subjects to draw.

Previous Lord: He’s just too funny, I love how he has his quirks XD

Claudia: alsolutely beautiful design, I love her braids and pigtails. Wish we got to see more of her! There’s so much left unknown! I wanted to see her wield Dolor and show her true power so much

Roctis and Ignes: I love how their goals and personalities contrast so much. The extremes of Selflessness vs selfishness. And the whip with a sea monster/snake motif??? LOVE.

Gradeus: aggressive berserker Jack O Lantern, hehe!

Urokai: love his design. That eye patch.. ugh!! Too beautiful!! Also the reason behind his betrayal is very different from the others which is a detail I find to be very fool.

All the other nobles: will get too long if I list all of them but they’re all cool! Love that consistency with eye color design, the eye color is the same for all of them but they look so different on everyone!

Muzaka: our werewolf Lord ahhhhhh!!!! Love how creative they were with his design. That hairstyle is very unique. Love how carefree he is, until he gets serious.

Ashleen: BABY!!!!

Lunark: Perfection. One of my top three favorite female characters. Love that sass. Those pink eyes. Everything.

Kentas: Burger boy!!!

Maduke: One of the more interesting villains for sure! Also love that side swept hair and cunning personality.

Dorant, Juraki & other werewolves: I just love how… brightly colored they are. There’s at least one character for every shade of color on ghe rainbow. Like not humans or nobles…the werewolves are the most colorful bunch!!

Other stuff that I like:

-the ART STYLE OF THIS MANHWA!!!!! It’s so simple yet sophisticated at the same time. The character expressions? Fluid poses and gesture drawings?? Combat scenes???? Every scenes?????? So nice!!!!

-probably not like too related to the manhwa itself but there were mobile games released based on this manhwa! Sadly most of them had their servers shut down and it’s all in the past : the most notable one for me was the one released by Neowiz. That GAME did a superb job designing new outfits for all the characters (game-original and not present in the manhwa) a and honestly they were so good they could’ve totally been canon! The characters’ typing and stats were also based on characters’ nature in the manhwa itself so a nice touch. Sadly it got discontinued in 2021 I believe. I’ll remember it forever!

I would like to read something about becoming friends with Melita during her pregnancy from Wrecker's perspective, especially what led up to Citali wrangling him into lifting her tummy. It's just a beautiful thing to see not just Wrecker but all of these men eager to help, learn and support Melita through pregnancy, something none of them have seen firsthand. ❤️

AHHHHH thank you so, so much for this! One of my biggest regrets in writing this fic is not spending more time showing the very early relationship between Wrecker and Melita (Citali and Echo too tbh, looking back on it now I feel I rushed it). I'm really glad to have written this, eased some of that regret.

"And this is my best friend, Melita," Citali said and everyone greeted each other. Wrecker was dazzled by everything about this woman: her radiant smile, her coily hair that caught the light of the sun like a black halo framing her pretty face, and he adored her sense of style. The gold bangles on her wrists, her big hoop earrings, and the neon coral polish on her fingernails seemed to tell the world she was spunky, cool, and vivacious. After spending just a few minutes with her, Wrecker realized she was all of those things and more. Melita was witty, genuine, and exceedingly kind. It was obvious everyone at this little party was enchanted by her and Wrecker was no exception. Melita made a quip and managed to pull a hearty laugh out of Cid to the astonishment of Wrecker and his brothers as they looked at each other with wide eyes. Wow, she actually made Cid laugh?! That was no small feat, he could not recall even seeing Cid smile before. Wrecker was quite impressed. He was admiring the interesting designs on her top when he finally noticed her belly protruding slightly but it was small and her shirt somewhat loose, he wasn't absolutely sure if she was pregnant or not. As curious as he was, he thought it would be inappropriate to ask her about it after just meeting her.

Melita had taken it upon herself to entertain everyone: keeping their plates and glasses full, throwing a toy for Snowball, playing with the kids, and making them all feel welcome while their hostess was busy inside the house charming Echo. "Got some more food for you Wrecker," Melita said cheerfully, handing another plate of food to him. "You seem very hungry."

"Oh I am," Wrecker chuckled. Food security for his squad was a little more consistent recently but Wrecker still wasn't really able to eat as much as would like. Not like during the war when they had an endless supply of ration bars. But Citali had prepared a ton of food, more than enough that Wrecker could eat to his heart's content without worrying if others would have plenty too. "Thank you, Melita."

She suddenly appeared to become dizzy, putting her hand on her forehead and taking some deep breaths. Wrecker immediately stood up and ushered her to sit down in his chair.

“Thank you, Wrecker,” she said smiling up at him.

“Are you not feeling good?” he asked, wondering if he should get Citali. But Citali's mentor Iirde was close by and did not seem too concerned as she handed Melita a glass of water.

“Just a little dizzy, nothing to worry about,” Melita said. “Been happening since I got pregnant. I hoped it would go away by the second trimester but no.”

“I was wondering if you were having a baby,” Wrecker said with a smile. “Congratulations, that’s so exciting!” Melita almost seemed surprised by his enthusiastic reaction to her pregnancy. Little did he know, she was surprised by it. He had no idea this was the first time someone had reacted so positively to the news. Melita looked like she was on the verge of tears, he wondered what was going on inside her mind. In seeing her struggling to contain her emotions, Wrecker was worried he had unintentionally hurt her feelings but he breathed a sigh of relief when she gave him a genuine smile.

“Thank you so much,” she said her voice cracking ever so slightly as she put her hand on her bump. “I’m very excited. It...hasn’t been easy and I know there will be struggles but…I’m so, so happy. I can’t wait to meet this little one.”

“I’m sorry you’ve been having a hard time,” Wrecker said sadly and sincerely. “I hope things are better now."

"They are," Melita said and Wrecker was glad to hear that.

"Have you had anything to eat?” With his muscle mass, Wrecker had to eat almost constantly and when he did not, he was prone to dizziness and headaches. He imagined growing a whole human being in one's body would require a lot of food too.

“I could use some food, I haven’t had much to eat today.” Melita went to stand up to fix herself a plate when Wrecker put a gentle hand on her forearm.

“It’s all right, you just relax. I’ll get you something.”

From that moment on, Wrecker made it his mission to make sure Melita was taken care of whenever they were together, as did Omega and his brothers. Anytime they all hung out, while Echo and Citali got to know each other more and more, everyone else made sure Melita was hydrated, fed, and took breaks now and then. Omega had never known anyone that was pregnant before and though Wrecker, Hunter, and Tech had all seen people who were pregnant during the war and knew at least the basics of what pregnancy entailed, the closest thing they were familiar with was seeing clone fetuses on Kamino. Melita’s pregnancy was something totally different of course. Her baby wasn’t floating in a growth jar, it was inside her and her pregnancy had very real effects on her body and mind, some positive others less so. Melita told them she liked how her hair was shinier and how her dark skin glowed since becoming pregnant but she also got tired more easily, had difficulty sleeping at night, had to use the refresher more often, and was uncharacteristically weepy.

“I'm sorry. I don’t…know…why this song…it making me cry,” Melita said between sobs, burying her face into Wrecker’s shoulder, her eye makeup from her day at the office that had started to run smudging on him. Omega rubbed her back soothingly while Tech desperately tried to change the song, kicking the jukebox in frustration.

“Just unplug it before you break it Goggles!” Cid yelled from behind the bar before Tech did as he was told. “Geez…and you’re supposed to be the smart one.”

Melita was still crying and the silence only made her cries more audible throughout the bar. “This is…so embarrassing,” Melita wept.

“Oh, don’t be embarrassed Melita,” Wrecker said sympathetically, wrapping an arm around her. Seeing her cry made him feel like crying too. “It is kind of sad song and it’s not like you can help it. You’re pregnant after all.” While some might find it humorous to see a hormonal pregnant woman weeping uncontrollably at a song, Wrecker and the others did not and felt for Melita. He thought it must be exhausting and frustrating to cry at the drop of a hat, unable to stop. “But even if you weren’t, there’s nothing wrong with crying.”

"You're right," Melita said, his words calming her. "Thanks, Wrecker. You always know what to say to make me feel better."

It didn't take long before Wrecker came to see Melita not as someone with whom he shared a mutual friend, but as a true friend herself. He always said "yes" when she asked him to dance, talked to her about her job (she did not seem very fond of it at all), telling her about his missions for Cid, and his love of building explosives. And Melita's pregnancy in many ways made it easier for them to get to know each other. Throughout the summer they bonded during impromptu childbirth education classes Citali gave all of them, Wrecker becoming particularly interested in what Citali called "comfort measures". These lessons were mostly for Melita's benefit but Wrecker tried to learn all he could during them on the off chance he was there when Melita's baby was born. If he wasn't there, his assistance would at least help Melita figure out the different positions she liked, what forms of touch made her feel good, and those that did not, all of which Wrecker assumed was important to know before childbirth. The techniques he learned weren't solely for childbirth, many eased the discomforts of pregnancy. Putting pressure on Melita's lower back or squeezing her hips with his hands seemed to help her a lot and because of his strength, Wrecker was able to do these sorts of things longer than anyone else could.

By the time autumn arrived, Melita seemed very comfortable with Wrecker touching her. At first (though she always said it was okay) there were times she was jumpy or seemed a bit nervous, but now Wrecker could feel and see the tension release from Melita's body the moment he put his huge hands on her, when they danced together, or when they embraced.

Their latest mission for Cid had taken Wrecker, Echo, Hunter, Tech, and Omega nearly a week to complete. Citali and Melita were so excited to see them that when they arrived at Cid's to give her the credits from the client and receive their cut, the two women were already waiting for them in the bar. Wrecker was shocked at how much bigger Melita's belly had gotten in such a short amount of time. Being so short and petite, Melita's baby had nowhere to go but outwards. Poor thing, she must be so uncomfortable, he thought. If she was, it didn't stop her from socializing with everyone in the bar and teaching Omega some dance moves while she sipped on sparkling water.

"Oh damn," Melita groaned, standing still and wincing. Wrecker noticed her in pain as did Citali who was at a table eating dinner with Echo. Despite spending a lot of time "alone" with Echo when they hung out like this, Citali always noticed when something wasn't right with her best friend.

"Melita, I know you love to dance but you've really got to start taking it a little easier," Citali said with concern. "You're gonna hurt yourself one of these days."

"Safe exercises like dancing is good during pregnancy, you've said so yourself."

"Yes but I've also said you need to listen to your body and stop before it gets to this point. Is it your lower back again?" Melita nodded her head and Citali looked at Wrecker. She smiled at him and waved him over, Wrecker immediately standing up and walking over to them. "Want to help with something?"

"Of course!" Wrecker said excitedly. "As long as it's okay with you, Melita."

She giggled and said, "Totally fine by me."

"Great. So..." Citali said before warming her hands by blowing into them and rubbing them together. Wrecker did the same in case his hands were cold. "I'm gonna teach you something called a belly lift. It's really helpful with pelvic and lower back pain during pregnancy and birth."

"Can I ask a question? Might be kinda silly," Wrecker said and Citali smiled kindly at him.

"There are no silly questions, Wrecker. Ask away."

"Is it...just the weight of the baby that causes this sort of pain or is there another reason? I think Omega said something about...a hormone the other day but I can't remember. That it does something to a pregnant person's joints and can cause pain?"

"Ahhh...guess Omega got to chapter four in that book she borrowed."

Wrecker laughed. "More than that, she read all of it. Twice." Citali was the one laughing now as she glanced at Omega fondly.

"You are correct Wrecker." He grinned, happy that he remembered that conversation with Omega correctly and he prepared himself for one of Citali's mini-lectures. Tech often did the same sort of thing but Citali had a way of explaining things that made it very easy for a person with limited knowledge of pregnancy or birth to understand that Wrecker really appreciated. Not that Wrecker's knowledge was limited anymore, he'd learned a lot since meeting Citali.

"So during pregnancy the body releases a hormone called relaxin to loosen the ligaments in the pelvis." Wrecker noticed that Omega and his brothers were listening in on the conversation, Echo doing so with a huge smile on his face. "This allows movement of the pelvic bones so the baby can be born more easily. But this hormone loosens all the ligaments in the body: back, knees, fingers, feet. That's one of the reasons most people go up in shoe size during pregnancy. Well...that and swelling but I digress. The looser ligaments in the lower back combined with the weight of the baby can cause a lot of people to have back pain. Lifting the belly will give someone temporary but very effective pain relief. So...what I need you to is stand behind Melita."

Wrecker made eye contact with Melita first and she smiled at him, signaling that she was okay with this. He got behind Melita, towering over her. "Now wrap your arms around her." Wrecker followed Citali's instructions, Melita lifting her arms up so Wrecker could easily put his arms around her waist. He had to press his body right up against hers, so close he could smell the pleasant scent of the oil he sometimes saw her spritz in her hair. He hoped this didn't make her feel uncomfortable. Wrecker looked for any signs of her distress but did not notice any.

"Put your hands under her belly," Citali said, Wrecker putting his hands under her protruding stomach. He could already feel how heavy it was. No wonder she's in so much pain! How does she run around and dance like this? Wrecker hoped this worked, he really wanted to make Melita feel better. "Yup, just like that," Citali said. "Now gently lift her belly up." Wrecker did as instructed and instantly Melita let out a moan of relief. Wrecker panicked and almost let her belly go.

"Did I hurt you Melita?! I'm so sorry," he said concerned.

"Oh maker not all, that feels amazing. You have no idea how much my back has been hurting. This feels so nice, thank you Wrecker," she said as she rested the back of her head against Wrecker's chest, putting her hands on top of his.

"She's never gonna let you go now," Citali said laughing.

That's fine with me Wrecker thought. Melita was growing a baby in her body and that was hard work from which she had no breaks or days off. This was the least he could do to support his friend. Wrecker would lift her belly from now until the baby arrived if he could if that meant she wasn't in pain. He obviously could not do that but he could do it now and show her that she was cared for. Wrecker loved Melita and this baby he'd yet to meet.

He hoped they both knew and felt that even when he was halfway across the galaxy.

OKAY SO. SOME THINGS! i’m a little bitch and pause the video every 15 seconds, so excuse me. but this also means that i can give you my rambling thoughts for various timestamps SKSKS. i’m not a theorist. i’m just a guy with some thoughts. you can actually skip all this bs if you want since i did an ACTUAL post abt my thoughts HERE.

but then seeing (what i’m assuming to be) gabriel’s statue just. standing there with his face obscured, after the text “awaken my son” appears is. wow. (definitely had me pausing my video every 3 seconds and hiding behind my phone.) i’m not gonna lie, i never expected alt! gabriel’s influence to go back that far into the christian lore. man’s been here from the jump i guess. (and ofc we get the infamous forbidden fruit scene, and eve becoming painfully aware and scared of the man looking down at them)

I noticed you’re into dissection and anatomy so I thought I’d share a suggestion and some experiences!

Suggestion: Cow eyes make for a very pretty dissection. They’re really cool.

Experiences:

I had an anatomy course in grad school in which over 12 weeks we dissected the entire human body. Big old lab in the basement and like 30 cadavers, 4-5 people to a body. It was really cool but super stressful because of the amount of info we had to cram into our brains for tests haha. The class was 2 hours of lecture and then 3 hours in lab, anything you didn’t finish you had to come back that night and do so you could start the next section in the morning.

Cool things I saw in lab: person who died from head trauma- the physical damage to the brain was so interesting!, the space behind the eyeballs(alot more fat there then you’d think)/the tiny muscles that move our eyeballs(very small and delicate), some person who had a heart the size of a foot ball-one of their lungs had atrophied to provide space for the heart, and lastly the human brain- much heavier than I thought it would be, after dissecting it out, (prof had us cut the skulls in half and then came around and carefully yanked the brain out for us cause he didn’t want us to mess up the nerve connections so bad we couldn’t tell what was what) we kept them in buckets under the dissection tables. Also cutting bone with a rotary saw smells like stale Cheetos.

I could go into further detail but I think there’s word limits on asks, don’t want to freak anyone out too badly, and also it’s just a lot of info lol

I've done a cows eye, and it was absolutely amazing! I did it once for my anatomy and physiology class, and then again for perception! I'm surprised I enjoyed it since eye injuries are just about the only thing that can make me squirm, but it was super cool!

And that is awesome! I know a bunch of people probably think I'm weird for being bummed that I missed out on cadaver lab, but I am. I would love to hold a human brain holy moley I bet it's so squishy o_o

I've smelled bone particles during surgery (ortho surgery is a sight and smell to behold) and it is Not Pleasant (and neither is the smell of cauterization, tbh)

I've seen pics of lungs compensating for assorted Heart Things, but that would be incredible to actually see in person!

Shout at me about these things any time, I am actually so fascinated by this stuff :o

A/n: Ahhhhh, thank you so much for requesting, I’m sorry I have taken so long to write your request but I have been very busy and also feeling unmotivated to write. But now that I have relaxed and have some time for writing decided to do this. It’s my first time fully writing for Nami and I hope you love it as much as i did writing it.

Nami and you had been in a relationship for almost a year.

You two had met on an island and fell in love almost instantly. You both shared the wish to sail around the world. She even admitted that she loved you a thousand times more than money (even though sometimes she would always look at the treasures that you would find with heart eyes)

Nami was the one who showed interest first, you worked at your family’s bakery on the little island you lived on.

“What’s your favorite one?” You were looking at your phone when she suddenly appeared asking what your favorite pastry was, she completely caught you off guard, you could feel your cheeks burning as she looked straight at you with those beautiful eyes.

She was a pretty girl, the prettiest you had ever seen around. And she was talking to you, asking you what your favorite pastry was. In this town, most people didn’t really notice you, let alone ask your opinion about something. Every time you would try to say a word a bunch of non-sense would come out of your mouth, she made you nervous.

“By the way, I’m Nami” She said smiling, trying to help you a bit. You took a deep breath and calmed yourself down.

“Hi, my name is Y/n” You replied, still feeling your cheeks burn but at least you could say something coherent.

You showed her all your favorite pastries, but the one that you enjoyed the most was the orange cupcakes, they were sooo underrated but they were your favorites because your sister and you used to do them all the time together, before she left and joined the marines. Little did you know that she also loved oranges, it was her favorite fruit of all times. She asked you if you would like to have some of the ones she had on her ship to make some more cupcakes.

After that you two kept on talking for hours, getting to know each other. It was the first time in a long time that you had opened up to someone, but with Nami it felt so different, like you had known each other for so long. She understood you like no one else.

From that day on you were inseparable. She had introduced you to her crew, they were all so nice and fun. They were a weird but cool family, and made you feel like home from the moment you went on their ship. Their captain offered to join them on their journey to the Grand line, to which you happily accepted as it had been your dream since you were a little girl, and perhaps..just perhaps you would get to see your sister one day again.

Nami knew that you were just shy, and she respected that, knowing your boundaries and limits. But sometimes she would get a little too romantic, kissing you on the neck while you were sitting on the dining table, or giving you soft kisses on your shoulder. Making you completely flustered and freeze instantly.

“I love you, you know” She would say from time to time, as you walked around a new island leaning her head on your shoulder and surrounding you with her arms, loving how you would always react to that. Making you always want to run and hide, as how nervous you got at the affection gestures she had with you. Nami would giggle and go back to her original position, maybe just hold your hand.

She loved teasing you and making you get flustered, mostly because she thought you were the cutest.
