Dick: I think it's my fault. I told him he should be making friends his age and then he told me about Ives. Someone he had never brought up before but apparently they had been friends for years. And when I asked why I never met him he said Ives had cancer... Just- so casually...

Steph: yeah. I think he is real. I just think he is a fish. And Everytime he dies Tim gets one that looks the exact same and names it Ives.

Damian: I believe it is delusion from too many head injuries.

I want Ives to return, and Tim decides that he doesn't want to keep losing touch with people he cares about because of his vigilante bullshit, so he's working up the courage to tell Ives and Bernard is like "you can do it, you're tall and your meat is huge" Meanwhile, Tim has completely forgotten to tell Ives that he's a whole queer disaster, so Ives is just waiting patiently for Tim to tell him that he's dating the boy whose lap he's currently sitting on.

timives are so. tim copies ives' math homework 5 minutes before class, he sleeps through english and ives will sit in front of him to block him from view because he already knew it was going to happen, they'll spend hours playing blade runner together afterschool together, tim walks ives to his classes, ives will use tim's shirt to clean his glasses, tim will constantly poke fun at ives for his part time job but still show up and wait for his shift to finish to drive him home, ives will poke fun at tims height and then pretend he didnt see the kick to his shin coming. idk its about being so intricately familiar with someone, you know them inside out where it matters and it doesnt matter about the secrets that you both know exist between you because ives doesnt need to know about tims secrets because he already has tim drake.
