“Rejoice always, pray without ceasing, give thanks in all circumstances; for this is the will of God in Christ Jesus for you.” —1 Thessalonians 5:16
“In all circumstances part 1: trust in God's character” By Antique Candle Co.:
“Why is it that we most often seek the Lord during the valleys of life? We know from His Word that He wants us to seek Him in every season. During the peaks, with moments of great joy and celebration; during the valleys, in times of worry and uncertainty. Not only does He desire His children to seek Him out, but He calls us to be faithful in all circumstances.
“Trust in the Lord with all your heart, and do not lean on your own understanding...” —Proverbs 3:5
Trusting in the Lord's character allows us to find hope in every situation. It's not just about trusting God to get us through the difficult moments, but fully trusting in who He is, which extends to every moment of life.
So what is God's character? Many things. God cannot be compared to anything else in all creation. He created all things. Therefore, there are some attributes of Christ we can and cannot understand. We can't understand being 'unchanging' or 'all-knowing' ourselves because, as we are finite beings, we are neither. However, His Word tells us these truths about Him so that we may trust the characteristics that are unique to God alone. We can see and acknowledge the truth of His character in the Word and in our own lives.
GOD IS UNCHANGING:
“Jesus Christ is the same yesterday and today and forever.” —Hebrews 13:8
“Every good gift and every perfect gift is from above, coming down from the Father of lights, with whom there is no variation or shadow due to change.” —James 1:17
GOD IS FAITHFUL:
“...if we are faithless, he remains faithful—for he cannot deny himself.” —2 Timothy 2:13
“The Lord is good; his steadfast love endures forever and his faithfulness to all generations.” —Psalm 100:5
GOD IS ALL-KNOWING:
“He who planted the ear, does he not hear? He who formed the eye, does he not see? He who disciplines the nations, does he not rebuke? He who teaches man knowledge—the Lord—knows the thoughts of man, that they are but a breath.” —Psalm 94:9
GOD IS SOVEREIGN:
“For from him and through him and to him are all things. To him be glory forever. Amen.” —Romans 11:36
“In him we have redemption through his blood, the forgiveness of our trespasses, according to the riches of his grace, which he lavished upon us, in all wisdom and insight.” —Ephesians 1:7-8
“And we know that for those who love God all things work together for good, for those who are called according to his purpose.” —Romans 8:28
“And this gospel of the kingdom will be proclaimed throughout the whole world as a testimony to all nations, and then the end will come.” —Matthew 24:14
Place your trust in a God who is unchanging, faithful, all-knowing, sovereign, and so much more. In all circumstances, His character is something that will never fail.”

How Do You Pray to God?
By Adrian Rogers “For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.”  Romans 11:36 God is in the business of getting glory for Himself, and the reason many of our prayers are not answered is that we are not interested in the glory of God. Read More

How to pray for unbelievers
Brothers, my heart’s desire and prayer to God for them is that they may be saved. (Romans 10:1)
Paul prays that God would convert Israel. He prays for her salvation! He does not pray for ineffectual influences, but for effectual influences. And that is how we should pray too.
We should take the new covenant promises of God and plead with God to bring them to pass in our children and our neighbors and on all the mission fields of the world.
God, take out of their flesh the heart of stone and give them a new heart of flesh. (Ezekiel 11:19)
Circumcise their heart so that they love you! (Deuteronomy 30:6)
Father, put your Spirit within them and cause them to walk in your statutes. (Ezekiel 36:27)
Grant them repentance and a knowledge of the truth that they may escape from the snare of the devil. (2 Timothy 2:25–26)
Open their hearts so that they believe the gospel! (Acts 16:14)
When we believe in the sovereignty of God — in the right and power of God to elect and then bring hardened sinners to faith and salvation — then we will be able to pray with no inconsistency, and with the confidence of great biblical promises for the conversion of the lost.
Thus, God has pleasure in this kind of praying because it ascribes to him the right and honor to be the free and sovereign God that he is in election and salvation.

For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have mercy on them all
Daily Verse Reading – Romans 11:29-36 29 for God’s gifts and his call are irrevocable. 30 Just as you who were at one time disobedient to God have now received mercy as a result of their disobedience, 31 so they too have now become disobedient in order that they too may now[a] receive mercy as a result of God’s mercy to you. 32 For God has bound everyone over to disobedience so that he may have…

A Saturday Meditation Between Horror and Glory
Mis-named or Perfectly Named? Yesterday, in the mis-named/perfectly named, Good Friday, we reminded ourselves of the price of our redemption. Today we remind ourselves of the utter loneliness and suffering of the early disciples. On Saturday, their vision of the greatness of the sacrifice was obscured by the pain of their loss, and un-ameliorated by the glory of what would happen on Sunday…

Through the Bible in One Year
Through the Bible in One Year
Day 274 Romans 11:25-36 We saw in the previous section Paul using the analogy of olive branches to describe how the Gentiles have been brought into the family of God.  Paul concluded that section by saying that if wild olive branches have been unnaturally grafted into a cultivated olive tree, then the branches that have been cut off from the cultivated olive tree are also able to be grafted…

The Parable of the Lost Sheep:
Redemption and Restoration
In the parable of the Lost Sheep, Jesus conveys a deep message about the relentless pursuit of redemption and the boundless grace of God. Let us delve into this timeless story and explore its significance in our lives today.
A certain shepherd had a hundred sheep, yet one of them strayed from the fold. Undeterred by the ninety-nine, the shepherd embarked on a relentless search for the lost sheep. He scoured the hills and valleys until, at last, he found the wayward sheep, weary and alone.
Filled with compassion, the shepherd tenderly lifted the sheep onto his shoulders and rejoiced, calling together his friends and neighbors to celebrate the sheep's return. In the same way, Jesus explains, there is more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine righteous persons who need no repentance (Luke 15:3-7).
This parable reminds us of the depth of God's love and his unwavering commitment to seek out and restore the lost. Just as the shepherd pursued the lost sheep, so too does our Heavenly Father pursue each one of us with relentless love and compassion.
No matter how far we may have strayed, God's arms are always open wide, ready to welcome us back into His embrace. His grace knows no bounds, and His forgiveness is freely offered to all who humble themselves and turn back to Him.
The parable of the Lost Sheep challenges us to reflect on our own lives and consider those areas where we may have wandered away from God's path. It beckons us to return to the fold, to repent of our sins, and to experience the joy of reconciliation with our Heavenly Father.
Just as the shepherd rejoiced over the lost sheep's return, so too does God rejoice over each one of us when we turn back to Him. Our repentance brings joy to heaven, and our restored relationship with God brings fulfillment and purpose to our lives.
Broader context:
Parable of the Lost Sheep (Luke 15:3-7):
This is the main passage where the parable is found.
God's Pursuit of the Lost:
Ezekiel 34:16 - God seeks out the lost and brings them back to safety.
Isaiah 53:6 - We all, like sheep, have gone astray, but the Lord laid on Jesus the iniquity of us all.
Matthew 18:12-14 - Jesus' teaching about the shepherd who leaves the ninety-nine to seek the one lost sheep.
Psalm 119:176 - Like a lost sheep, seek your servant, for I have not forgotten your commands.
God's Rejoicing over Repentance:
Luke 15:10 - There is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner who repents.
Luke 15:32 - It was fitting to celebrate and be glad, for your brother was dead, and is alive; he was lost, and is found.
Acts 3:19 - Repent therefore, and turn back, that your sins may be blotted out.
God's Unfailing Love and Faithfulness:
Psalm 23:1-3 - The Lord is my shepherd; I shall not want. He makes me lie down in green pastures. He leads me beside still waters. He restores my soul.
Psalm 36:5 - Your steadfast love, O Lord, extends to the heavens, your faithfulness to the clouds.
Psalm 136:1 - Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good, for his steadfast love endures forever.
Lamentations 3:22-23 - The steadfast love of the Lord never ceases; his mercies never come to an end; they are new every morning; great is your faithfulness.
The Shepherd's Role as a Metaphor for Jesus:
John 10:11 - I am the good shepherd. The good shepherd lays down his life for the sheep.
Hebrews 13:20 - Now may the God of peace who brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, the great shepherd of the sheep, by the blood of the eternal covenant.
Call to Repentance and Restoration:
Joel 2:12-13 - "Yet even now," declares the Lord, "return to me with all your heart, with fasting, with weeping, and with mourning; and rend your hearts and not your garments."
Revelation 3:20 - Behold, I stand at the door and knock. If anyone hears my voice and opens the door, I will come in to him and eat with him, and he with me.
The Joy of Salvation:
Romans 15:13 - May the God of hope fill you with all joy and peace in believing, so that by the power of the Holy Spirit you may abound in hope.
Psalm 51:12 - Restore to me the joy of your salvation and uphold me with a willing spirit.
Questions:
Have I strayed from God's path, and if so, am I willing to humble myself and turn back to Him?
Do I fully grasp the depth of God's love and His relentless pursuit of me, even in my moments of wandering?
How can I share the message of God's grace and redemption with others who may feel lost or disconnected from Him?
What steps can I take to deepen my relationship with God and experience the fullness of His joy and restoration in my life?
Let us pray:
Heavenly Father, we thank you for your unwavering love and grace, demonstrated to us through the parable of the Lost Sheep. Give us the courage to humble ourselves, repent of our sins, and return to you with open hearts. May we never forget the depth of your love for us and the joy that comes from being reconciled to you. In Jesus' name, amen.

I guess I can update this now! If you haven't figured out by now I love Roman Reigns! I'm also pagan (some prefer the term polytheist because they see pagan as offensive but I don't) and a witch (not wiccan) I post about it regularly on my blog along with Roman. I write fanfics whenever I get the urge. I make gifs and post a lot of pictures.

I DO NOT give permission for my works to be translated or posted elsewhere! I DO NOT give permission for my stories to be fed to AI!! I don't own any wwe or any of their characters only my OCs. Romans 11:33-36New International Version
Doxology
33 Oh, the depth of the riches of the wisdom and[a] knowledge of God!     How unsearchable his judgments,     and his paths beyond tracing out! 34 “Who has known the mind of the Lord?     Or who has been his counselor?”[b] 35 “Who has ever given to God,     that God should repay them?”[c] 36 For from him and through him and for him are all things.     To him be the glory forever! Amen.

Quote
Consider the end of God's decrees - and this is no other than His own glory. Every rational agent acts for an end; and God being the most perfect agent, and His glory the highest end, there can be no doubt but all His decrees are directed to that end. "For to Him are all things.

Prayer Bonds Us With God
By Adrian Rogers “For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things, to whom be glory forever. Amen.”  Romans 11:36 What is the origin of effectual prayer? Its roots are in the purpose of God. The prayer that gets to Heaven starts in Heaven. “For of Him and through Him and to Him are all things.” Prayer is God’s way of getting Heaven’s will done on Earth, not man’s way of getting man’s will…

Okay, since I am extremely bored, I am doing the second edition of the RWBY Hottest Character Poll. A few characters are different from the first one; for example, Oobleck isn't on this one, and I don't think Jinn was in the first one but she's in the second one.
Anyway.
List of Characters:
1) Blake Belladonna
2) Yang Xiao Long
3) Weiss Schnee
4) Jaune Arc
5) Nora Valkyrie
6) Lie Ren
7) Ambrosius
8) Qrow Branwen
9) Raven Branwen
10) Young María Calavera
11) Coco Adel
12) Velvet Scarlatina
13) Yatsuhashi Daichi
14) Fox Alistair
15) Neopolitan
16) Roman Torchwick
17) Cinder Fall
18) Emerald Sustrai
19) Mercury Black
20) Salem
21) Ozpin
22) OG Ozma
23) James Ironwood
24) Winter Schnee
25) Pyrrha Nikos
26) Kali Belladonna
27) Ghira Belladonna

32) Harriet Bree
33) Sienna Khan

50) Arthur Watts
51) Robyn Hill
52) May Marigold
53) Fionna Thyme
54) Joanna Greenleaf
55) Hazel Rainart
56) Klein Sieben
57) Willow Schnee
58) Neon Katt
59) Vernal
60) Flynt Coal
61) Glynda Goodwitch
62) Leonardo Lionheart
63) Rhodes
64) Blacksmith Lady
Obviously, just like in the first one, I didn't add underage characters such as Ruby, Oscar or Whitley. Pyrrha is there because since her confirmed birthday was on April and the Vytal Festival took place in the Fall, then she had most likely turned 18 by volume 3.
I randomized all the pairs, but still I made sure most guys were with other guys because considering how gay this fandom is, all the guys would be out of the poll in the first round if they were against women.
