hello! my name is scottie! i am a 20 yr. old nb college student trying to write a fantasy series (among other minor projects!), looking for active writers to be mutuals and interact with (bonus if ur open to beta reading! or want a beta reader!) :D ask/tag open! i love talking to people, so don't be afraid to say hi :)

magic school coming-of-age that turns into a dystopia. and there are lesbians EVERYWHERE. basically. it covers ten years of this girl's life where she's

also lesbians! contains time shenanigans and dragons. set in a world sort of exactly like the Modern Pre-Crown World in fionna and cake. i reference this because my main lady penny is a silly little history buff and decides to go on this expedition to find more information on a lost goddess, and ends up getting entangled with time. after a long, emotional trek that goes wrong more times than it goes right. penny somehow manages to get sent thousands of years in the future when the world has been ravaged by magic and godly power. and then she meets a girl who has a dragon and a dude that does everything she says, and more shit happens!

untitled crime story (now: unorthodox methods!)

i will not stop calling it untitled crime story!!! but i had to come up with a silly and catchy title because i chose this as a premise for the feature film script i'm writing for class. but untitled crime story i'll remember you

you guessed it.... lesbians.............. but they're exes with sooo much unspoken beef and they go off-grid together anyways so neither of them get put in prison ??? it's in a world where magic is normal and a bit frowned upon, now getting out of have because there's a global shortage of the one drug that suppresses magical powers. and this girl's ex calls her one night! the fun ex---she's supposed to be fun!! but she sounds super terrified and serious and chaos ensues! lesbians running from magical authorities and having to face their very long, very loud shared history.

finally edited it! this post just doubles as my wip masterpost :) i do not feel like doing a whole new post i am just here to have fun

ROTTMNT HORROR AU MASTERPOST

In this universe, there's a more concrete reason behind Master Splinter not wanting to continue his clan. As a Hamato, you are obligated to go through a trial period once you reach ten years old: a trial which is meant to test your strength and teach you how to face your fears.

Only over time, it's evolved from that. Or maybe devolved. Because now, centuries after Hamato Karai first created these trials, they are no longer a challenge. Rather, they are a prison. One which our beloved turtles have to fight their way through.

They escape, sure. But what happened to them? And how will they recover?

Basically I put the boys in Situations. Each of them are dumped in a universe where they have to experience life in a certain horror genre: Raph is in paranormal horror, Donnie is in cosmic horror, Leo is in Psychological horror, and Mikey is in slasher horror.

Since someone else recommended umineko, I'm going to make a 'if you like danganronpa you might like this' recommendation in the opposite direction!

I recommend a youtube webseries called MILGRAM!

Just like Danganronpa its really character driven except the writer is a psychologist interested in writing characters with depth

There are 10 prisoners and we get to try and figure out who they are and what they did based on a voice drama interrogation and a music video of their memories So there's a lot of speculation and theorycrafting Then we vote on if we Forgive them or Not Forgive them (this got translated as Innocent or Guilty, but we know they all did something, its about how we feel about what we think they did) And the results affect the story

There's 3 Trials (seasons) and we're almost at the end of the second!

(Also I promise its not like Kagerou Daze just watch all the MVs and voice dramas in Trial 1, then all the MVs and voice dramas in Trial 2 but I did make a post of links for convenience here)

MASSIVE SWILTAETT (DELTATWIST) UPDATE.

I realized that I haven't made a single SwilTaett update here since I revealed it now being owned by me, and I hope that this post can be a good source of understanding (as well as also acting as a 'SwilTaett Masterpost')!

First, the Cast Designs for SwilTaett's very own Three Heroes! There are two sets of designs made so far (with the second image being what's currently canon), and here's what they look like:

In regards to Amstda (the ghost thing that's kinda like Mad Dummy), they're situation and plans are being entirely reconsidered by Me and the COB MOB (yes that is our actual team name). Instead of just being a reskin Ralsei Replacement, Amstda will now be introduced in ACT 3, potentially related to a certain yearning for the mines! Also, Jack has a design in the Heavens and it looks like this:

Next, and the thing that most people go to AUs for, the Secret Bosses! We only have one which can currently be shown right now, and that's Doenor, the once cheerful and happy party planner, turned into a cold and distant prisoner...

(Milgram self-insert oc masterpost hehe)

Name: For the sake of posting online I’ll call her Rose!

Color: #E7355B [the pink in the art]

Age: I guess she’d be 20 given when Milgram started huh. Gross.

Status: Milgram Staff, Machine Technician

Symbols/imagery: ballet, musical theater, potted plants, board games, various bugs

Song genre: very similar to Mahiru's, something upbeat and extra pop-y

Tentatively she's number 011? She's not really prisoner but she's also not free to come and go, so I'm not actually sure if she'd get a number

Story: I figured since the project is supposed to be realistic/present day, the mv machine would be brand new and unpredictable tech, so they’d want someone keeping up on maintenance and making sure the brain-invasive process won’t cause any harm to the prisoners. She was studying abroad in Japan working on some cool neuroscience tech (irl I know nothing about technology or brains but shh) and she stumbled upon the Milgram team’s machine/plans. Long story short she was dragged into the experiment to make sure things ran smoothly.

Writer's Reasoning: She’s really fun for me to play around with, as she allows me to work with a character who is simultaneously trapped in the prison but hasn’t committed any murder**, someone who has a tiny bit of pull over Es’ mindset in conversation but not the final decision (aka the voting system), and someone who would have a reason to see all the canon content.* I really enjoy the character interactions and dynamics Milgram has set up so far, so it’s been super fun seeing how things change for better and worse when someone not quite aligned with either Milgram/the prisoners is thrown into the mix!

*As much as I love dramatic irony in fiction, it would drive me crazy if I knew every detail of of the vds/mvs but Rose didn't – and every single Milgram character is The Worst Communicator Ever so I couldn’t justify that she’d hear it second hand from them...

**I’ll also add that I don’t believe I’m above murder lmao – the main thing stopping me from making her a prisoner was a) the reason above, and b) there’s no way I could have produced a full music video, and it would've driven me crazy if she didn't have one 😂 Still, I imagine she has to run some tests on the machine to make sure things are calibrated correctly, so she'd extract little things here and there (giving me the opportunity to think up lyric snippets and recurring symbols for her without worrying about full encompassing music videos :))

Story roles:

She’s a bit conflicted -- she’s officially Milgram staff and knows she should remain neutral on the prisoners, since she won’t be allowed to interfere with the process/executions. At the same time, her job description is literally “make sure they all are safe and healthy” and she's way too emotional to avoid getting hopelessly attached to everyone 😅

I really enjoy the theory that the machine extracts videos based off of priming, so one of Rose’s duties involves listening in on the interrogation and making sure there’s been enough material discussed/not too much time has passed overall (hence the ringing of the bell happening at different lengths for each vd). She then watches the mvs along with Es to make sure there are no machine glitches.

I'm not afraid to admit she falls into Mary Sue territory every so often by being everyone's friend, because it's less about "aw everyone likes her" and more about "canon is too painful rn and I need a fix-it tool to take care of these guys and give them hugs and tell them someone forgives them and cares about them and unfortunately these characters wouldn't let anyone less than a friend do that." Rest assured she's definitely not perfect and will fuck everything up on occasion :3

Miscellaneous: Whenever I play around with normal au ideas she's still working on the machine (but in a public, more ethical setting), and she's Mahiru's roommate :) Her character isn't super focused on love, but if I had to pick a cover song it'd be Stickybug II. It's very much my vibe, the lyrics fit well enough (better than most songs, at least lol) and it's one of my favorites of the unchosen songs!

So yeah, I hope she's not too boring without a cool crime to decipher, but I wanted to share since I was really proud of her! It took a bit of tinkering to find a way to fit her into a perfect secret-third-thing role that runs very smoothly with all of canon, so I was very excited!

Synopsis: Shen, after Hamato Yoshi's disappearance - worked at an animal shelter in New York and four of the new turtle eggs wouldn't hatch. They assumed the turtles hadn't made it. Shen was... saddened by this and asked one of her friends (Draxum) who worked for a lab to help her figure out what was wrong with said eggs. Late at night, when they were checking on the eggs, there was an explosion that flooded the facility with mutagenic gas - shortly after they got to what would be known as the lair, the eggs hatched. Draxum told her to take care of the boys while he went and got supplies to make the lair more of a home - seeing as they couldn't exactly go back to live in normal society after what had happened. Shen agreed and stayed with the boys - after all, she had stayed with them the whole time and she was the one who made sure they'd made it... why would she leave her little ones? ... One night Draxum didn't come back.

But when the empire returned to open it, they found only skeletons. What happened? At first the Empire thought the inhabitants ran out of resources, but this was not the case (the bio-dome was self-sustaining with farms and water purifiers) Rather, social order broke down and there was apparently a civil war. Too many doctors and skilled technicians were killed in the war, which caused the rest of the population to spiral towards a slow demise.

Zareen Empire abandoned the project out of shame and refused to make the results of the experiment public. The bio-dome was left in a remote region of the ocean, where it still remains today. Some think it's only a legend, and many assume it's haunted by bad spirits. Not many know about its origins with Zareen Empire.
