You....you know how Lleu is named after Lleu Llaw Gyffes?.....
Llaw's two uncles canonically had kids together, I already told one of my friends and I am very willing to spread that info more because it is ASTONISHING how Medlleu managed to avoid going down THAT route
I just looked it up and it's insane!!! Morguase would turn them into animals too!
Also, the fact that the reason they are turned into animals in the first place is because they rape their cousin whose name is Goewin! Like those kids were set up to fail. God I need to finish reading the Mabinogion and then reread!

No in regards to Merlin and morgana, he literally is the villain….. she needed someone and he chose to gaslight her…. He was the absolute worst….. but like also im so biased cause the actress really acted the fuck out of morgana like I just don’t like her being a villain at all, idc that it’s the actual lore like they have morguase right there to be the “lore morgana” and morgana could’ve stayed good and we could’ve had badass scenes with morgana and Merlin(and emmrys) using magic, etc

The start of season 3 marks a one year time skip from the end of season 2, and we start with another double feature!
S02E01&2 — The Tears of Uther Pendragon
A year after being whisked away from Camelot, Morgana is found, disheveled and bruised in the forest and claiming abduction by bandits. Superficially contrite and charming, she remains in league with Morgause, for whom she collects tears shed by Uther. These Morguase uses to curse him through a doll fashioned from mandrake root, which Morgana places under his bed. As it slowly starts to drive the king mad with hallucinates of ghosts, Morgause - after taking Merlin prisoner - induces rival king Cenred to invade the weakened kingdom, for which Merlin summons the Great Dragon for aid.
The Great Dragon returns Merlin to Camelot where, convincing Gaius of Morgana's treachery, they break the curse on Uther by burning the mandrake doll. Nonetheless, they feel he would not believe them if they exposed Morgana. Whilst Cenred's men lay siege to the castle, Morgana uses a rowan wood magic staff to create an army of sword-wielding skeletons to fight the knights inside Camelot. Merlin destroys the staff, the skeletons disintegrate and, as the tide turns in favour of Camelot, Cenred calls off his siege. Morgana, however, takes the credit for destroying the spell and is acclaimed by her foolish guardian.

Archer tapped the console of the nearest junior archivist tech. "I need to see all comm backups involving the following keywords: Talon. Couerl. Baxu.”
He felt Harvard's microscopic shudder of amusement as he spoke, brisk and sharp. But he was unprepared when the tech, and the duty officer alike went pale.
"Sir, we. We can't do that." The Lieutenant finally said.
Archer lifted his chin. His rank and clearance were irreproachable. "Explain."
"Special forces does a weekly purge of their keyword data at all comm locations." Morguase said in a tone that implied Archer should know that. "They take a copy of everything and burn what we have."
Archer shifted his weight, hands clasped behind his back. "Tell me, lieutenant, does that seem... proper to you?"
She looked at the others, then back at him. "Sir?"
"Do you think the Dominion would allow any of its forces, no matter how elite, to be unaccountable?" Archer snapped and they jumped.
"It was just orders, sir, Station Command said..."
"Do you understand now why I am here, Lieutenant?" Archer barked.
"Yes sir!!" They responded quickly.
"Excellent. When was the last purge?"
The nearest tech looked up. "Fifteen minutes ago, Major. Talon 1 is still in dock. Colonel Couel did the pickup." He gestured at a status screen.
Archer felt the threads of the universe vibrate. "Thank you. You've all been exceptionally helpful and I will include that in my report to IAB when we finish investigating Pelegus Command. You will keep this meeting a secret, understood?"
They were still saluting as he turned crisply on his heel and strode out.

"Did you find anything else useful in there?" Archer murmured as he strode towards the lift.
"Internal docking bay security protocols." Harvard chuckled in his ear. "I'm worried tho, Archer. Major Aix Rosen is going to show up in Pelegus' logs now."
"It's ok, love." He rested a hand on the shimmering sash, feeling his Other's warmth. "The General's been as good as his word so far, and as long as my activities ultimately benefit him, he'll keep up his end."
He could feel her silent disapproval as he entered the crowded lift.

In the hangar, his uniform shifted again to the black and orange coveralls of the station dock crew. Harvard had sent just enough confusing data into the station network to scramble all of the flight schedules, and the Talon ship was trapped like all the others.
"Scan of site personnel shows at least two Talon operatives in with station command. No doubt demanding priority departure." She hummed in his ear.
Archer pushed a cart of repair tools, along with his case, towards the Talon ship, and set about working on one of the malfunctioning clamps as she disengaged from him, slipping in shadow until she located on of the tertiary airlocks.
Archer's uniform shifted again, a sleek, dark suit molding against him as he shouldered the sword case. Harvard flitted back to him, folding around his arm in a scaly sleeve.
He looked around, then pulled himself up, slipping silently into the ship.

Just watched The Sins of the father (2x08) and wow. First off, never seen Arthur so mad, but god seeing him apologize to his mother for killing her was heartbreaking and thank god he knows it wasn’t his fault. Uther, should’ve just told the truth. It wasn’t worth lying. Merlin. Fucking hell, ‘a trusted ally in the fight against magic’ said to a warlock. Uthers a bit thick. That one guard/knight that I can’t remember the name of must be so confused. He knows all the gossip. Also morganas got a half sister! Is morguase also Arthur’s sister or is it the other parent? Idk I’m a bit confused to be honest but hopefully it’ll all make sense soon.

Chapter Three: The White Lily
Summary:
"Lancelot here has got an admirer” Gwaine declared. Merlin scoffed, turning back to his bowl of strawberries “So what’s new about that...poor girl must be questioning her choices right about now” Merlin teased as Lancelot grabbed the bowl of berries from him.
“Look Lance, you know I love you but you’re like Camelot’s resident heartbreaker. The handsome noble knight who no one will ever get” Merlin explained, grabbing back the bowl. “Hey! I thought that was my title!!” Gwaine protested. Merlin and Lancelot shared a bemused look as Lancelot stole a strawberry, earning Merlin’s glare. “Gwaine, you are more like the handsome knight of Camelot that everyone gets” Lance pointed and Merlin nodded in agreement. Gwaine didn’t seem offended by it, “Well actually that’s more fun” he grinned devilishly.
“Anyway gentlemen, we are getting out of topic. Our friend Lancelot isn’t untouchable no more, today at the market we came across a beautiful woman who offered Lancelot flowers as a gift and for the first time he used his brain and actually accepted them. Also got her name-”
“It’s Elaine!” Lancelot blurted, interrupting Gwaine.

What your BBC Merlin comfort character says about you (based on my opinion and experience - aka these aren’t to be taken too seriously 😗✌🏼)
Merlin- You are a beautiful, wonderful, amazing, talented, funny, witty and an empathetic person but for the love of god please locate therapy I’m worried about you-
Arthur- You have Mummy and/or Daddy issues. You doubt yourself even when you really shouldn’t. You might also have Imposters Syndrome lurking in you somewhere and how is it being emotionally stunted and unable to express/receive affection easily?
Gwen - You are either somehow really mentally stable or this >< close to going off the deep end yet you’re the therapist of your group and you probably give great hugs and advice. Also if you are close to losing it you probably don’t listen to the advice you give your friends or you don’t open up because none of your friends know what to do because none of them are mentally stable and you are their lifeline??? If you get that somehow then yeah.
Morgana - Parental issues part two. Also anger issues?? Or your temper blinds you . You’re also very strong minded, you strive for what’s right and are very passionate. Did you have an emo phase as well because that seems to radiate as well-
Gaius - You’re mature for your age, maybe it’s trauma or maybe you’re just built different.
Leon - You’re the mum friend. You’re quite stable and have you’re life together yet you’re lumbered with what feels like children for friends but you wouldn’t change them for the world and you know it.
Elyan- You’re severely under appreciated, you also most definitely have the best sense of humour. Also I bet you are great at cooking I just get the feeling. You’re also genuinely a really lovely person to be around because you care so i love you-
Gwaine- You use humour as your coping mechanism. Sorry. But you’re loyal and fun to talk to as well. If not then you have commitment issues and maybe even abandonment issues.
Lancelot - You are the "chill" friend of your group but in reality you’re likely the most chaotic and reckless.
Percival- You are the best hugger in your group and probably are a himbo/bimbo. You are really nice but you could kill someone if you wanted to...
Morguase- You’re the gay cousin or the middle child that’s always forgotten about in favour of the oldest and youngest.
Mordred - Mummy issues 😜, you seek validation constantly. Also very determined?? How’s life being a burnt out gifted kid? Or a child who had their innocence shattered very quickly? Who knows.

Man, what a bunch Of A##holes, though compared to some politicians on our own world, they’re probably okay. What will happen to each of these kingdoms after their current leaders are gone? (that also includes the 2 courts, what would happen if both Morgause and Titania die, maybe from some divine killing weapon for the latter?)
Yeah...kinda scary how even the worst LG politicians probably aren't half as bad as a lot of real-world ones, huh?
This is a question with way too many answers, because the possibilities are endless. Literally anything could happen, there are so many factors to consider. I think for the most part, new leaders will just take over and it'll be business as usual. Most of these assholes will die of old age or their terms will expire or whatever, and then their kids will take over or some other asshole will get elected in their place. Rinse and repeat.
I think Titania and Morgause are exceptions, since they are the original founders of their kingdoms. The face of each of these kingdoms would change a lot without them, because these leaders are all they've ever known. I'm sure Titania and Morguase have both chosen successors to take their throne if something happens to them, but who knows what direction these successors will really take their courts in. Both of these kingdoms have been stagnant for so long, getting rid of their immortal rulers would have to end the stagnation and lead to a state of constant flux like all the other kingdoms.
As for the other High Rulers, I just don't think their deaths would cause much chaos or change in the grand scheme of things. They think they're so high and mighty and important, but in reality they're all pretty insignificant. They'll get a blurb in a history book, maybe a statue or two, then they'll all rot in a tomb with all the kings and queens before them.
