Later that day, Casey and Malaya's friends Cam and Piper come over. Malaya shows Lilia to her auntie Cam. "Aw, she's so cute Mal." Cam says, and Malaya smiles. "Right? I can't believe she's almost 8 months." Malaya says, tickling her daughter's tummy and making her giggle. Lilia lets out a fart (she has the gassy trait too), making Cam and Malaya laugh. "She gets that from Casey, not me." Malaya adds jokingly, and Cam grins. "I can believe it." She says, while Casey grumbles playfully at the two of them.

After that, Casey shows Lilia to Piper, and she coos over her. "Awww. Hey nooboo, its auntie Piper." She says, making silly faces at her niece*. While Cam chats with Casey, Piper talks with Malaya. "How are you doing, Mal?" She asks gently. "Tired as hell, but I'm trying to take it one day at a time and just enjoying spending time with Lilia. Plus, my moms have been helping Case and me so much and I'm grateful as hell for that." Malaya adds, and Piper smiles. "I understand, and I'm not a parent but for what it's worth, I think you and Casey are doing a good job." She says, and Malaya smiles. "Thanks Pipes." She says, her smile tired but warm.

I read in your tags about Elizabeth Boleyn's "mercenary" attitude towards everyone but her family, and a scene where Anne and her mother harassed Wolsey... Could you elaborate more about these 2 things? It sounds interesting... You always offer a different angle to the "well-known" Boleyn story.

Oh, I mean I'm being a bit facetious, that is a portrayal I would like to see, it's based mostly on conjecture (the papal envoy was apparently afraid of both Anne and her parents, emphasis plural, which is interesting...) and Anne's own affection for her ("next to my own mother, no woman alive I love better"). I would just like to see her placed a bit more prominently in these moments, by her side when the gauntlet of "tell him he may come here, where the King is" is thrown.

The #girlbosslay moments wrt Wolsey, I just sort of get the feeling that she was involved in her daughter's power struggle/battle for influence with Wolsey, in her daughter's corner, she was in the barge for the journey soon after his fall from grace, and contemporary report places her along for the ride of overlooking all his inventory at York Place as well. Earlier on, in the context of Anne reprimanding him for having not sent her a message/update in quite some time, they both demanded some delicacies for their table from him, and there's a bit of an exasperated, put-upon tone about this from his gentleman usher:

Excuses his non-attendance upon Wolsey. Mr. Carre and Mr. Browne are absent, and there is none here but Norres and himself to attend the King in his bedchamber, or keep the pallet. Every afternoon when the weather is fair the King rides out hawking, or walks in the Park, not returning till late in the evening. Today, as the King was going to dinner, Mistress Anne spoke to Hennege, saying she was afraid Wolsey had forgotten her, as he sent her no token with Forest;—she thought that was the reason he did not come to her. Hennege told her that his message was of such importance that Wolsey had forgotten to send a token. Was requested by my Lady her mother to give her a morsel of tunny; she said she had spoken to Forest to ask Wolsey for it. Tonight the King sent him down with a dish to Mistress Anne (Boleyn) for her supper. She caused Hennege to sup with her, and wished she had some good meat from Wolsey, as carps, shrimps or other. "I beseech your Grace, pardon me that I am so bold to write unto your Grace hereof; it is the conceit and mind of a woman." Was ordered by the King to bid Forest remain here all night.

Here's the whole fam! Before we start the story explanation, let's start with heights

Now, story time!

So, Juliana and her sibs are mixed race.

Her mother is American and her father is Colombian.

Due to this, Joanne and Reyes were each disowned from their family's and decided to leave the place they lived. Being supportive, Alanso, Elba and Deidra decided to go with them, not before Deidra came out to her and Joanne's parents. Them leaving, despite being disowned, did not go well in both communities and Joanne and Deidra's brother, Markus Plaskett(whom I've yet to design), captain of the American brigade, made it his life mission to track down and bring both sisters home.

On the road, Joanne and Reyes married and each couple had their children along the way.

When Juliana reached the age of 17, her and her family finally reached the Encanto Valley, able to get in through the crack that remained from the movie events(a year prior to the Mendoza family's arrival).

Of course, many were shocked by the new arrivals and Alma was wary of them, but they were allowed to stay and make the Valley their home. It didn't take long for Juliana, her siblings and cousins to make friends with the young adults and children of the Encanto Valley, even befriending the Madrigal family.

Juliana first grew close to Mirabel, both girls being explorative and bold, before becoming havoc makers with Camilo. Of course, the two grow crushes on one another cause what's Disney without romance. Mirabel was still dragged along in their schemes, despite the two’s growing emotions.

Adding more into classical Disney, the happiness the family found didn't last long(maybe a month). Markus soon tracked the family to the Valley and he and his men attacked, setting fire to the village houses, leaving only the Madrigal house standing. Before leaving, Markus demanded the return of Joanne and Deidra.

With emotions high, the Mendoza family was immediately blamed for the attack, some even demanding they hand over the named women. But, with some calmed words and arguments from Mirabel, with backup from her family, does demands were quickly squashed, leaving more 'what to do' questions.

After some arguments, agreements and planning, a plan was reached and the Madrigals and Mendozas set out to face Markus and his men. When they reached the brigades' camp(found just at Pedro's River), Alma demanded the brigade leave and never return to the Valley. Determined and cocky, Markus refused an demanded to have Joanne and Deidra brought to him, the two women having stayed behind in the village.

With the refusal, the attack began. Isabella used her plants to destroy tents, Antonio used his animals to chase soldiers away and convinced the horses to flee while Camilo shapeshifted to turn Markus's men against one another and Juliana and Mirabel set fire to the men's supplies and weapons, Juan and Alanso fighting men head on while Reyes faced Markus.

Eventually, Markus and his men were forced to retreat and the rallied Madrigals and Mendozas returned home. It was soon decided to reclose the mountain and, with Luisa's and Isabella's powers, it was soon done and the Encanto Valley was left in peace and to celebrate.

That's the gist of Juliana's tale, but, of course, there are some in-between dialog and story, but some things aren't concrete and haven't been thought up.

The Pink Ladies

As Gloria has gotten older, she's learned to appreciate the little things... particularly, the tiny furballs she's adopted over the years. Recently, as her health has declined, her daughter and granddaughter have moved into her doll-like Victorian home to help with care and upkeep. Gloria's laid-back attitude has always driven Rachelle crazy, but Audra adores her quirky grandmother. Rachelle thinks that it's time for Audra to grow up, but Gloria insists that she remain spoiled for as long as she's around.
