Disney Announces Details On D23 Brazil Event

Disney has announced details on the first-ever D23 event it will be running in Brazil, which will be the first time Disney is bringing the D23 experience to Latin America, where fans can explore the latest from Disney, Pixar, Marvel, Star Wars, 20th Century Studios, Searchlight Pictures, National Geographic, and more at this multi-day event—that will include interactive experiences, exclusive shopping, and entertainment for all ages.

The event will take place on November 8th, 9th, and 10th, 2024, at the Transamérica Expo Center in São Paulo, Brazil.

For Disney Television Animation fans, the event takes place 1 month before the studio's 40th anniversary so we could expect some announcements for them or information on latino-driven series like "Hamster & Gretel", "Moon Girl And Devil Dinosaur" and "Primos" and the upcoming latino-driven series like “SuperStar”, a “NDA Preschool Series by Jose Zelaya”, "NDA Preschool Series by Norma P. Sepulveda" & the potential The Proud Family latino-lead spin-off “La Familia Avenúñez”. as part of the celebration.

One of the projects under our radar is a "NDA - Disney Channel Series" created by Pedro Eboli and Mark Satterthwaite, which would probably make Eboli the first Brazilian on creating a animated series at Disney TVA. So this could be a perfect chance to give a series greenlit as part of the event.

Gino Guzzardo Discusses CHIBI TINY TALES Alongside New Key Art For Chibi Tiny Tales 100th Short.

On the success of the series, and celebrating 100 episodes of Chibi Tiny Tales, Vice President of Multiplatform Content at Disney Television Animation Gino Guzzardo said, "The response from fans has been immense" over the last four years, so they decided to bring together "two ultimate fan favorites" for Episode 100, Phineas and Ferb and cake:

"Four years ago we launched 'Chibi Tiny Tales' to entertain our viewers with snappy one-minute shorts, since then the response from fans has been immense and it’s become the most watched series on the Disney Channel YouTube! This momentous 100th episode brings together two ultimate fan favorites: 'Phineas and Ferb'… and cake!"

Guzzardo pointed to the impact of the Chibi Tiny Tales series, bringing up the Chibiverse spin-off series, which is set to debut its "Season 2 finale [on] July 20:"

"The popularity of 'Chibi' has also expanded into its own spin-off series, 'The Chibiverse' – the Season 2 finale is on July 20 with more 'Phineas and Ferb' where Perry the Platypus gets a voice for the very first time."
