Something like this would probably happen a good few months into your relationship, so you know to step away from him for a while, until he calms down, then you'd make him some tea and you'd both sit on the couch or lie in bed in a somber but somewhar comforting silence.

Jason would then find some way to apologise for his outbreak, and you would repeat multiple times that it's not his fault.

It is my very firm belief that Kate and Anthony have an arrangement with their modiste and tailor respectively. Whenever Kate picks out fabric for a new dress her modiste sends a bolt of fabric over to Anthony’s tailor so he can have a waistcoat made to match.

It saves everyone time. His tailor literally cannot have Anthony stand there any longer mulling over which of two nearly identical fabrics match Kate’s dress better. They may as well use the exact fabric. Because Anthony wants to let everyone know that Lord and Lady Bridgerton are a matched set.

I’m also, on a side note, really excited to see Kate’s wardrobe this season. Last season’s clothes were picked out by Lady Danbury and Kate Sharma was also trying to fit in and fly under the radar. Lady Bridgerton has no reason to do that and I’m excited to see it

“The . . . tailor?” Thirteen wrinkles his nose, looking puzzled. “We’ve got clothes.”

“Do they all look like that?” Kara says, pointing at his current outfit instead of addressing just how empty both their bags look.

“Yeah?” He looks still more puzzled.

“Then no, you don’t have clothes,” she says. “You can’t go around dressed like that. Especially not you,” she adds, eyeing the crest on Match’s chest. “Whose family crest is that and why did Kal leave it on you?”

“It’s not a family crest,” Match says, clearly mystified by the assumption. “It’s branding.”

“. . . ‘branding’,” Kara echoes very, very slowly.

“We, uh, came from different labs,” Thirteen says, touching the El crest on his chest self-consciously. “Cadmus put, um, the S-shield on my suit, but the Agenda put their own logo on Match’s.”

“Logo?!” Kara demands in horror, because she cannot even approach the thing where Thirteen just called the El crest an “S-shield”, whatever weird nonsense that phrase means. Match just stares blankly at her in a way that distinctly reminds her of every subordinate she’s ever had transfer in from under an abusive bastard of a commander.

Right. Okay. If she can’t get a tailor in this afternoon, she’s going to go steal clothes out of Kal’s own damn closet for these two. That’s just what’s going to have to happen.

“You can’t wear that here,” she tells Match, forcing her voice to stay calm. “The council will think we haven’t accepted you into the House of El, if you’re wearing another–crest.”

“I’m always wearing it,” Match says, perfectly blank and perfectly neutral. “It doesn’t matter if it’s on my clothes or not.”

“. . . what does that mean,” Kara asks with fresh dread, and then has to deal with a physiological teenager unfastening the back of his already-indecent clothing and pulling the top of his bodysuit down to expose his chest, which, thank fuck she’s Warrior Guild or she’d have to have a conniption about that.

Which she doesn’t have time to do, because there’s a tattoo on Match’s chest, and that’s a much more important conniption to be having right now.

A tattoo of the Rao-damned logo, to be specific.

“Aethyr’s ass,” she says, staring at it in horror for a moment before she snaps out of it enough to cover her eyes. They’re “family”, yes, and Match is technically a child, but his body and mind are developed far past his chronological age and she just really doesn’t want him getting the idea that it’s acceptable to go around taking his clothes off this easily either way. The clothes are bad enough as they are. “Cover yourself, that’s not–you can’t just take your clothes off like that!”

“It was just my chest,” Match says with an audible frown in his voice, though at least she hears fabric rustle, and hopefully that means–yes, he’s fixing his bodysuit. Thank fuck.

“Your chest is not just,” Kara says, then vaguely remembers Kal mentioning something about how risqué most of the Earthling fashion he saw was and tries not to grimace. Just–gods, this whole experience is going to involve so much culture shock, isn’t it. “Your sex characteristics are inseminator-based, not carrier. You can’t just show people your chest.”

Match keeps staring blankly at her, the obvious desire to ask a question concealed in the back of his eyes, then just barely slants a look towards Thirteen, who glances back at him before frowning at her in confusion.

“Uh,” he says, still frowning. “Why not? He doesn’t have ti–breasts or anything. So why’s it matter?”

. . . Earth is very different from Krypton, Kara realizes.

“The only reason you should ever bare your chest in front of anyone not a sexually-inclined lover or a physician who’s directly examining you is if you’re feeding an infant,” she tells them. “Which most of us don’t even do, for the record, the birthing matrix generally means lactation isn’t triggered in carriers. Only the extreme throwback communities actually do carry anymore.”

“. . . what?” Thirteen says, clearly baffled. “Like–you just don’t get pregnant? None of you?”

“It’s not necessary, and it’s more difficult to genetically optimize children in-utero than in a birthing matrix,” Kara says. “Match, just–don’t show anyone that tattoo. Or mention it to anyone. The crest issue is bad enough, but getting tattooed is just . . . not a thing we do in proper society.”

Admittedly, she’s known a few Warrior Guild members who got something small, but it was never anything like a logo or–

“I didn’t ‘get’ it,” Match says, frowning at her. “The Agenda put it on me to identify me as their product.”

. . . Kara wants to scream.

“Either way, don’t mention it,” she says instead of doing that, because she is a grown goddamn woman and a general. “Well–you can tell Kal, obviously, but no one else."

“. . . why is that ‘obvious’?” Match says, and the fact he has to ask really does not make Kara feel good about this situation.

“He’s your petitioner,” she says. “He might need to know, especially if the council intends to have you two examined by physicians. Also, he won’t be an ass about it, unlike a lot of other people probably would.”

She doesn’t think anyone in their family would, at least as long as they knew Match didn’t get tattooed willingly, but she’s sure there’s a goddamn nosy neighbor or bastard council member or local gossip who’d take the excuse to.

“Uh, so body mods are a no-go in general, then, or . . .” Thirteen trails off, tugging uncomfortably at his earring.

“The earring’s a bit out there as a fashion statement, yes,” Kara says. Thirteen looks even more uncomfortable. She wonders why he even has it, considering. And only one, too? Not even a matching set?

“The hole, uh, won’t close,” Thirteen says, tugging at it again and not quite looking at her. “They pierced it when I was in early development, so . . .”

“What?” Kara blinks at him in bemusement. What does he mean by “early development”? Not when he was an infant, right? Why would–“Who did?"

“Uh,” Thirteen says, staring at the floor. “Well, Match got tattooed, and I got . . . tagged.”

. . . Kara wants to bomb so much more than just a lab right now, but if she gets any more enraged, a Red Lantern ring is going to come find her, and she just doesn’t have the time for that right now. Just–no, she really doesn’t.

“I see,” she says very, very calmly, then just . . . gestures towards the hall. “Your room’s this way. I only have one guest suite, so you’re going to have to share, but I got a second bed put in yesterday and you’ll have your own bath to share too. It’s fully stocked, and I’ll show you how to run the cleaning systems and how the plumbing all works.”

She can’t imagine Kryptonian plumbing or cleaning systems being particularly similar to Earthling ones, so . . .

“Um, okay,” Thirteen says, shifting awkwardly. “Uh–thanks. Ma’am. Uh, when’s lights out?”

Kara is going to have a fucking time with these kids, isn’t she. And not in a good way.

Lorra’s left tit. She is definitely, definitely throwing Kal off that building. And then she’ll take his new wife to tea while he recovers in the healing chambers, the little bastard, and show her every embarrassing childhood holo she can find.

“I have absolutely no idea how much sleep you need, so we’ll be figuring that out together,” she replies frankly. “For now, just don’t leave the apartment without me. I don’t want you getting lost and the council won’t like you wandering around unchaperoned yet either.”

“Yes, ma’am,” they both say in stiff, discordant unison, both looking tense.

Kara . . . exhales, slowly, and then leads the way down the hall.

“My suite and office are the whole top floor,” she says, pointing out doors as they go. “The kitchen is through here, that’s the guest bathroom, those are both storage, and that’s the living room. You can go anywhere in the house except for my suite and office, and if you need me while I’m in either of those, just chime.”

“‘Chime’?” Thirteen wrinkles his nose.

“Yes,” Kara says, then realizes he doesn’t know what she means. “Ah–you know? Chime?”

They both stare blankly at her. She sighs. She’s too damn old to chime, but . . .

“Like this,” she says, and then vibrates her secondary vocal chords to produce the sweet little sound. She hasn’t chimed in . . . Rao, since before she left for the academy, probably. Still, they’re still children, so–

“We’re–allowed?” Thirteen asks, his expression looking . . . strange. “To do that?”

“Yes,” Kara says, thinking longingly of bombing Earthling Thinkers’ labs. What does he mean “allowed”? “It’s chiming. Who’d keep a kid from chiming?”

“It’s obnoxious,” Match says flatly, clearly repeating someone else's words. Kara stares at him. Once again, he’s found a way to say something even worse than the thing she already thought was the worst thing she was going to have to hear today. It's almost impressive, at this point.

“It’s how you’re going to get my attention,” she says. “So you’d better get used to doing it, or you’ll have to call me on my comm every time you need something from me.”

“Can’t we just . . . knock?” Thirteen says. Kara has absolutely no idea what that means. She can’t think of a single child-call that sounds like hitting something.

“Depends,” she says, tilting her head. “What’s a knock call sound like?”

“A–what?” Thirteen looks baffled. “No, like–it’s not a . . . ‘call’?”

“It’s a knock,” Match says.

“Like, you know,” Thirteen says, and then reaches out and raps his knuckles against the wall. Kara gives him a blank look.

“How would I even hear that?” she says. Chiming carries. That was just . . . hitting the wall. Not even hitting it hard.

“I mean–you do it against the door,” Thirteen says, looking a little flustered. “Like, of the room someone’s in.”

So she’d be encouraging teenagers to hit her doors on the regular. No, that’s not happening.

“Just chime,” she repeats firmly, folding her arms, and Thirteen and Match share a look. Thirteen looks anxious. Match looks blank. Kara . . . doesn’t even want to know how she looks, at this point.

The Nursery/Kid Collection

Hello everyone 🤗

I'm wishing you all a Happy New Year 😍🥳🥳 I hope you're all doing great at the beginning of 2023!

I'm so, so happy today to share with you the biggest collection I ever made and to show you my progress in Blender 😱

About my progress this month:

One of the biggest new skills I have now is that the bed blanket is animated!!!!

I learned how to make a cloth simulation on a mesh, which means I created from scratch for the first time in my life the pillow, the blanket (bed cover?), and the bed canopy

As I already said, I learn how to animate the blanket, which means the bed is fully functional exactly as it should be. No more strange animation when a toddler will going to sleep in it 👌

I also learned how to create a curve, which was needed for the garland

Most of the rugs in this collection has now a thickness even if the shape is not a basic shape such as a square, rectangle, or round. I learned how to add texture details to them which gives a realistic and mellow appearance which can be great if you have a Simstagram and share cute toddler poses for example

I started learning several new other skills but the end result is too bad to be shared right now 😂

Thank you all so so much for all your support without which I simply wouldn't be able to spend as much time learning new 3d skills 🙏❤

About the collection:

The collection is composed of 25 new CC with a total of ... 291 swatches! 😱

I wanted to cover as many styles as possible with plain colors and matching patterns for you to be sure to be able to create a lot of different toddler bedrooms even if you're using the same mesh. I'm personally always frustrated when the CC is exactly the one I want to use but can't find the swatch that is matching with the other items made by another CC creator.

Of course, I couldn't create all the textures ever possible, but for sure when an item has 38 different swatches, you'll find at least 1 of them matching your interior 😍

The color palettes I used to create this collection are mostly white, pink, orange, green, and blue with matching patterns and for some items, I created different kinds and tones of wood from light to dark.

Everything is base game and HQ compatible

Everything is functional and playtested

All items have from 1 swatch up to 38

When possible, all items have all their LODs

Except for the bed canopy (sorry), everything is low poly

They all have their custom thumbnails and are correctly tagged

Most of them can be found under "kid's furniture" or "kid's decoration"

All of them can also be found with those keywords: sims4luxury; nursery; toddler; kid

How to make the bed functional:

The bed is coming in 3 separated pieces:

Bed frame

mattress

blanket

and ONLY THE BLANKET is actually functional. Bed frames and mattresses are only decor items with 0 interactions or animations linking to them. So you'll need to place the blanket if you want your toddler sim to be able to sleep in the bed from this collection.

You can use the blanket with any other bed frame you have, it will work the same.

I separated the bed into 3 pieces for you to choose between all the swatches and mix and match all of them the way you prefer.

About the bed canopy:

The bed canopy is a high poly mesh. I did my best and created several versions of it but the only one which didn't look too weird to be shared is the version that has 25k poly. So please be cautious!

I created the mesh to be placed as close as possible to the walls in a corner so that the bed frame can be placed below it, not next to or in front of it and it does not create a collision with any sim.

Tips:

Because of the number of swatches a lot of the CC in this collection has, the files are large.

If you need to save space on your computer but still want to keep this collection installed, I suggest you delete the swatches you like the least with Sims4Studio.

ʚїɞ a big sucker for filming tiktoks and challenges with you, even if you’re not a dancer. he’ll be willing to teach you and guide step by step even if it takes the whole day. and ahhh this cute tiktok’s like yk,, leaving lipstick stains on his face, jumping at each other n all of that… his (and yours) drafts are filled with that. and taro watches them when he’s away from you <3

ʚїɞ he’s a human battery charger. taro is literally sunshine itself, vitamin c and happy pill?! so it’s only normal that when being his partner, he’s spreading that energy around him and it’s kinda… impossible to be sad or mad about anything when he’s here, next to you… smiling like :] and being so adorable… squishable…… cries. but he’ll go to the ends of the world to make you cheer up, everything in his willpower to make that frown upside down hehe >.<

ʚїɞ not a moment is full with him!! taking a spontaneous trip to japan during the weekend? he’s dragging you to the airport. craving a very specific meal that’s all across the town? already hopping in the car. something caught his eye during a walk? he’s running there like an excited puppy. you have a sudden outburst of energy and want to play basketball at 11pm? he’s already ballin’. taro also kind of gives me that vibe of someone who’d order silly stuff online so yeah… on some days you’d wake up to a package at the front door… it being the cat-shaped phone holders, a set of spoons looking like shovels, ice-cube makers in a shape of a lego man… and… more… ㅠㅠ

ʚїɞ speaking of japan, he’d love to talk to you in japanese (even if you don’t understand it) and flirt with you hehe~ he’d definitely try and teach you if you wanted because,, as someone said – the best way to practise your language skills is having a partner who speaks it lmao but yeah he loves when you speak japanese, even tho it’s not perfect it warms his heart <3 and the other way around too, he’d love to learn your native language too!! pls teach him >:)

I unexpectedly found out that I was pregnant 6 months ago. I told Harry the night I found out, just after he'd been at a long sidemen shoot. He was shocked and we were both scared but also excited, and there was absolutely no question if we were or weren't going to keep it. Me and Harry have been together for just under 3 years, and had spoken about kids but it wasn't something we were thinking about now. When we told them, Harry brought me along to a more sidemen shoot. As we were sitting on the couch Harry suddenly blurted out "by the way I'm gonna need a little time off soon." The boys were confused "what why?" Ethan asked. "Just to look after the baby." Harry said calmly. I tried desperately to hold in my smile. "Baby... what do you- OH MY GOD!" JJ jumped up with excitement. I smiled "surprise!" They all immediately began congratulating us.

Today it's Harry's day off and we're going shopping for the baby's nursery. We haven't had much spare time to buy anything. But one night, after he'd been out all day, Harry came home with a little white polar bear sleep suit along with some matching booties. My hormones were clearly all over the place because I ended up in tears because of how cute it was. I got up and ready, made some breakfast then woke Harry up. "Haz, wake up!" I said shaking him softly. He yawned "morning." he said with the morning voice I love so much. He got up, we had breakfast, he got dressed, then we left. We got a taxi into central London, payed and thanked the driver then headed straight into the first baby store I spotted.

We got a cab back to our house and Harry carried in all of the bags up through the the door and placed them in the (currently empty) nursery. That night we ordered a crib, dresser/changing table and a few other things we needed for the nursery, clearly buying things for the baby kick-started my brain into realising how un prepared we were.

The next day most of the things arrived, most importantly the crib and dresser. Harry had to be at a sidemen meeting so I decided to begin building some of the little, less heavy things. Later I heard the front door open and padded footsteps toward the nursery. "Hey." I said softly with a smile and tried to stand from my cross legged position. Harry practically launched forward to help me up. I laughed "thank you." and made a face. He furrowed his brows "what?" He asked with a slight smirk. "You're just really cute." We ordered some dinner and after we ate we got straight back to working on the nursery. And thankfully I now had Harry to move all of the heavy things around. "No, the other way!" I said pointing from the instructions then back to the half built crib. "Ah, there we go!" he said as it clicked into place. Soon the entire crib was built, along with the dresser and everything else. It was pretty much done, just needed some decorations.

We stood by the door and admired the room. A tear slid down my cheek. "Are you ok?" Harry asked with slight panic in his voice. I looked at him "fine, I just- I was terrified when I first found out we were gonna have a baby, that would be my responsibility to keep alive and healthy. But now I- I feel ready to be a mum." I said with a sniffle. He smiled and pulled me into a soft hug. "You're gonna be an incredible mum." he said into my hair. I pulled back and smiled "and you'll be an amazing dad." I said. He placed a hand on my bump "I love you both so much." he said as his eyes flickered down to my belly. "We love you too."
