Solomon x GN! reader
Summary: You and Solomon sit on the roof stargazing, and some interesting curiosities arise.
AN: Guess who's back? It has been way too long since I've written anything, but I'm still in the middle of a writer's block and college courses, so this is like a one time thing...for now. Ooh, I hope y'all like this! :)
Warnings: None
Shadows painted across your face as you and Solomon sat on the roof of Cocytus Hall. He had suggested the two of you climb up and stargaze for a little while as a way to unwind after another stressful day. The inky black sky hung above your heads as the soft chirping of frogs filled the silence that surrounded you. Small dots of light shimmered against the dark backdrop, and mentally, Solomon was connecting the stars together and forming the constellations he was familiar with.
If this was the human realm, his eyes wouldn’t hesitate to flicker to every constellation, to every lone star and recount to himself the stories and legends behind them. And while he’s familiar enough with the Devildom folktales, nothing can compare to the sky back home.
“Solomon?”
The sorcerer’s eyes shift slowly over to your figure, whose head is still lifted up towards the sky. His voice stays soft so as to not disturb the tranquil peace between the two of you. “Hm? Something on your mind?”
He watches you take a steadying breath before you speak again. “Have you ever held a star in the palm of your hands?”
Solomon’s eyes spark with interest at your question before he chuckles to himself. “I have, yes. Is there any reason you’re asking?”
“No.” You shake your head, never taking your eyes off the stars. “I was just curious.”
Solomon nods as he glances back up as well. And for a few moments, it’s silent between the two of you once more. He thinks about saying something…anything, after missing your presence all day. He takes a breath to speak but pauses as you begin again; your voice so quiet he wonders if you even mean to say these things out loud.
“Have you ever walked on the dark side of the moon before? Or maybe visited a celestial entity just because you could? Seen galaxies that exist far, far away…or watched a supernova up close?” You finally break your gaze from the sky, blinking at him with a childlike curiosity. “Have you ever done anything like that before?”
He’s taken aback by all your sudden questions, each one more interesting than the last. A soft smile is directed your way as he answers you. “I’ve done all those things and more. But those stories would be too long and complicated to explain.” He sighs as he fondly reminisces those experiences only he could witness firsthand. “I can still feel the light on my skin from the stars I’ve held. Every time I look up at the sky at night, I’m reminded of their radiance and warmth. I may have lived a long life and I may not remember everything that I’ve done…but it’s something you never forget.”
Solomon chuckles at your reaction after having made it out from the darkness; your mouth agape slightly and your eyes wide and intent. “There must be some interest in these subjects if you’re asking so much. If you’d like, I’ll teach you how to summon a star into your hand.”
You gasp softly. “Woah, really?”
Solomon nods with a grin. “Yes, really. And until then…” He waves his hand around with a graceful flourish and a small stone appears in the palm of his hand. He eyes it for a moment, feeling the energy humming from it through his veins. “You can have this.”
It’s a crystal that holds an endless galaxy within it, though its contents are merely a replica that he’s conjured up with his magic. He holds his hand out for you to take it. Your eyes flick down to his extended hand, tentatively taking the object and closely inspecting it in awe.
“This is beautiful, but why do you want me to have it?”
“Why not?” Solomon shrugs, grinning at you. “It’s mine to give to whoever I choose, and that person is you.” He leans in and places a featherlight kiss to your cheek but he doesn’t lean back. He stays close to your face, gently caressing your cheek with his hand and guiding you to lock eyes with him.
“It’s my promise to you. It’s my promise to protect you and to help you cultivate your knowledge for all things magic. It’s my promise that you will hold a star in your hand. And I’ll be there with you every step of the way.”

Left Knee scars are from someone trying to torture her with a knife.

They're my favorite traumatized transgender homosexual little creature. He is so tragic. He is such a kind little soul who wouldn't hurt a fly, he just wanted to be accepted for who he was! His family didn't accept him when he came out as trans and he was in a horrible place when the God of the Sun came along and told him he could give them a better life. Of course when a God, respected and worshipped, offers to give you the life you've dreamed of, you'd take it. Then a lot of really shitty stuff happens to him, I won't get into it here because some of it's really sensitive but you can find all his lore on @lux-loquitur plus some other characters from his lore. He's got two kids, and he loves them both unconditionally even if they are both in some way direct results of his trauma. He gets betrayed by his husband (Moon) who saved him from his abuser, (Sun) and he ends up trapped in a 'star room', or a depiction of his last movements which were so confusing and tragic in so many ways that they ruined his afterlife. He is stuck here for centuries, unable to interact with any of the objects in the room including pictures of his daughters, as well as himself and Moon. He can't figure out why he'd killed him, it's lost on him. Slowly he goes insane, his mind snapping, until he is summoned by Moon after the God finds a strange orb (which the universe itself may or may not have had some role in delivering). Felix, now the only Lux to ever visit the living realm from the afterlife, is more powerful than even the God of Creation, killing Sun, his abuser, and taking on the position of God of the Dead and the Stars.
Felix is a part of a species called the Lux, with dark skin, freckles, a long tail with a tuft of fur at the end, and long pointed ears. His eyes are a vibrant electric blue, matching with the glowing bits of his antenna. His hair is cut halfway down to his neck and is a dark brown. His usual attire consists of a crescent moon choker, a sleeveless crop top, and a pair of dark blue shorts and an arm band depicting hearts. After death he comes back as a spirit (and eventually becomes the god of death) and he is a slightly opaque, vibrant blue. His eyes are a dark cyan and parts of him which once gave off light are now dark. His death wound on his neck as well as his mouth and nose bleed for centuries. His arm band depicts broken hearts and he is able to have either a wispy, genie like body or legs as he pleases.

She/her
I have put her through enough goddamn trauma for both iterations of her life. She has suffered through capture by the faux-SCP Foundation of my universe, had like maybe five years worth of time with her brother before he got killed because she let her guard down for a second, spend maybe another year trying to come to terms with this (with the support of her girlfriend <3) before she was forced to kill her girlfriend (</3), then got like a week to start processing all of this before the end of the universe.
AND THEN THE UNIVERSE RESETS BECAUSE THE CORRUPTED GOD FRAGMENT (there are 3 creator fragments btw) ABSORBED ANOTHER ONE OF THE FRAGMENTS AND MADE A FLAWED AND NONSENSICAL REPLICA OF THE OLD UNIVERSE!!! So now Luna has to deal with inexplicably working for the Foundation after escaping as a D-Class equivalent years before while being haunted by a strange anomaly that she can never remember (her brother acting as a guardian angel). She gets a different girlfriend this time around, who is also helping her through her problems, but because it's the Foundation where everybody has to have something wrong somehow, the girlfriend is intrinsically linked to an exploitative demon that takes control occasionally, exploiting the weaknesses that Luna has shared to further damage her mental state. She also has to cope with their weird hollowness left over from the unresolved feelings pre-universe reset, so there's that.
She just desperately needs a win right now. She's got the anger of a poorly-adjusted teen trapped in the body of a 20-something year old, a theoretically biting wit that often fails her whenever she's trying to make any sort of clever remark, and a seeming curse of absolutely horrendous luck.
She has been my main failgirl-poor little meow meow-scringo for the better part of 4 years now after countless character developments (she started off as the child of two fnaf ocs when I had a brief intersection between interests in fnaf and scp and she just stuck around forever) and I just desperately want her to have some kind of award before I spring the third universe reset on her (sorry luna).
Being demonic in nature, she has dark grey skin, black eyes, and red pupils. Her hair is white, as is her brother's, and she dyes it with orange streaks. She has two horns that break through the hair which extend about three inches out from her forehead and curve. Each horn comes to a slightly curved T-shape split, where the arms of the T extend about an inch below and five inches above where the horn sprouts. Her blood is blue, a color which comes through when she blushes. She has acne scarring on her face across her cheeks and her nose, as well as down her back and on her shoulders. She also has several scars from various battles on various parts of her body. She has a fairly muscular build, though when she initially returns from the Foundation she is somewhat malnourished. She stands at approximately 5'7, a good 7 inches shorter than her brother (a fact that he teases her about regularly), and weighs about 164 pounds.
In the initial timeline, she always wears a black jacket with grey faux fur that her brother got her when she showed up st his doorstep immediately after escaping, which she continues to patch up and wear to this day. She tends to wear cargo pants (for more pockets), sneakers, and t-shirts of various designs, though while going off on missions under the guidance of the fragments she tends to don her old Foundation jumpsuit (inexplicably - she seems to have fond memories, or may be wearing it because of a promise.) Her hair is fairly unkempt, and tends to fall over her left eye.
Post-reset, she wears her hair pulled back in a low ponytail to keep it out of her eyes. She uses makeup to hide the acne scarring on her face. What she wears changes depending on her mission, but most of the time while she's on the job she wears a black two piece suit with a white work shirt, black dress pants, black dress shoes, and a black tie (the standard uniform for agents within the site where she works.) Her casual wear tends to be the same as pre-reset: t-shirt, cargo pants, sneakers. She also wears a black hoodie as opposed to the pre-reset back jacket, as her brother technically never existed post-reset. The hoodie still makes her feel remorse and nostalgia, though she can't quite place why.

Legends of the Screen
James Byron Dean (February 8, 1931 – September 30, 1955) Actor with a career that lasted five years until his death. His roles typified teenage disillusionment and social estrangement of his time. He had uncredited gigs from 1951 to 1953 before starring as a rebellious son attempting to win his father's approval in East of Eden (1955). In Rebel Without a Cause (1955), he portrayed a teenager frustrated with his family and social life. His last lead role was a Texan rancher who discovered oil and became rich, in Giant (1956).
Dean's debut television appearance was in a Pepsi commercial. He quit college to act full-time and was cast in his first speaking part, as John the Apostle in Hill Number One, an Easter television special dramatizing the Resurrection of Jesus. Dean worked at the widely filmed Iverson Movie Ranch in the Chatsworth area of Los Angeles during production of the program, for which a replica of the tomb of Jesus was built on location at the ranch. Dean subsequently obtained three walk-on roles in movies: as a soldier in Fixed Bayonets! (1951), a boxing cornerman in Sailor Beware (1952), and a youth in Has Anybody Seen My Gal? (1952).
In July 1951, Dean appeared on Alias Jane Doe, which was produced by Brackett. In October 1951, following the encouragement of actor James Whitmore and the advice of his mentor Rogers Brackett, Dean moved to New York City. There, he worked as a stunt tester for the game showBeat the Clock, but was subsequently fired for allegedly performing the tasks too quickly. He also appeared in episodes of several CBS television series, The Web, Studio One, and Lux Video Theatre, before gaining admission to the Actors Studio to study method acting under Lee Strasberg
Dean's career picked up and he performed in further episodes of such early 1950s television shows as Kraft Television Theatre, Robert Montgomery Presents, The United States Steel Hour, Danger, and General Electric Theater. One early role, for the CBS series Omnibus in the episode "Glory in the Flower", saw Dean portraying the type of disaffected youth he would later portray in Rebel Without a Cause (1955). This summer 1953 program featured the song "Crazy Man, Crazy", one of the first dramatic TV programs to feature rock and roll.
On April 20, 2010, a long "lost" live episode of the General Electric Theater called "The Dark, Dark Hours" featuring Dean in a performance with Ronald Reagan was uncovered by NBC writer Wayne Federman while working on a Ronald Reagan television retrospective. The episode, originally broadcast December 12, 1954, drew international attention and highlights were featured on numerous national media outlets including: CBS Evening News, NBC Nightly News, and Good Morning America. It was later revealed that some footage from the episode was first featured in the 2005 documentary, James Dean: Forever Young. (Wikipedia)

New Lightcannon idea: Prince of Persia crossover. A new exhibit of rare relics from Shurima opens in Piltover with the highlight being the supposed 'Sands of Time' hourglass and Dagger of Time. The ancient Vizier attacks the Museum to gain both items, and use them to turn both cities into a replica of his kingdom he was master of in ancient times. However Jinx (Surviving being stabbed by the Dagger she just happen to be wanting to rob as well.) makes off with the Dagger in a visiting Lux being dragged along for the ride.
Never played the Prince of Persia games (I seem to be saying that a lot with having not watched/read/played lol) so I'm only able to talk from context clues, but I'm somewhat struggling on figure out how to mentally develop the idea (If that makes sense).
Usually with these submissions it gets my brain buzzing, but with this one I don't really know how it would go. Like I can see Jinx being a little gremlin sneaking in to the exhibit, maybe getting found out by Vi and Caitlyn (who are patrolling the exhibit given it's high profile nature and the fact Jinx likely sent them a note expressing her interest). Lux could also be there as a diplomat.
It's just I'm drawing a blank on how the story would advance past getting the cool dagger.
I don't know, for some reason my mind just drifts to the Mummy given the subject matter and my enjoyment of the movie. In that case it could be an AU (or take place in Runeterra who knows) where Lux hires a team to explore newly discovered ruins that are thought to house unimaginable treasures.
Team would be: Lux (Kinda over it archeologist), Ezreal (Well-intentioned explorer friend that's a massive idiot surviving through sheer luck and is practically unkillable), Sivir (Local guide, gruff with a heart of gold when it counts, constant mocker of "Dumb foreigners"), Jinx (Ex-Convict hired due to her unmatched skills when it comes to traps and engineering, keeps flirting with Lux), and Caitlyn and Vi being thrown into the bunch as Jinx 'technically' isn't an Ex-Convict since she escaped prison early because she got bored.
Villain would be Xerath or something, who the accidentally unleash and have to deal with.
Maybe I just want to rewatch the Mummy.....

Refining Replicas
When making replicas, details matter. That's true for organoids too – lab-grown replicas of human organs. To replicate brain tissue, brain organoids need neural stem cells (NSCs) to persist so they can produce the brain's tens of different cell types. This, however, has proven tricky to achieve. Researchers now present brain organoids that do contain long-lasting NSCs by suppressing the activity of two proteins involved in development, SMAD and Wnt, for a short period of time, early in organoid generation. Suppressing both SMAD and Wnt (pictured, right) produced greater levels of long-lasting NSCs (red) compared with suppressing SMAD alone (left). This method also produced defined regions containing outer radial glia – cells found in a particular layer of the brain – suggesting the production of organised brain tissue. These organoids, therefore, provide a more accurate way to model brain tissue and investigate brain disease.

DIVERGE: CHI + BACK COVER — The Foretellers, Prologue
The Master of Masters, an enigmatic genius inventor, presided over the world Daybreak – a beautiful and vibrant world separate from the lanes connecting all the worlds beyond. Prior to the birth of Daybreak, the Master created a sentient book called the Book of Prophecies. Its sole purpose was to observe, record, and archive all aspects of existence throughout time. So, he placed the book somewhere it could perform its duties undisturbed – a place no one, not even himself, could easily access. Even so, he kept a link to the book via his Gazing Eye; his own eye that he implanted on his keyblade. But even that vanished in time.
The Master used the Book’s descriptions to create various machinations such as the World Replicas, the Chirithy, and even keyblades. It was all part of his objective to “protect what comes after”. At the heart of this objective were his six apprentices Ira, Aced, Gula, Invi, Luxu, and Ava. He taught and trained them until they mastered keyblade. He then instructed his apprentices, whom he called the Foretellers, to form unions that each would preside over. Their objective was to train prospective guardians to protect the worlds beyond from the darkness and cleanse their corruption.
Unfortunately, the Master wouldn’t be around. For some reason, he strangely disappeared without a trace. Before that, he left each of his apprentices with important objectives of which they were instructed not to disclose to the others. Luxu, his most valued apprentice, was the first to be given his objectives. Luxu arrived at The Master’s chamber wearing a smaller version of The Master’s black coat that only he was given. The reason was never clear.
“But why am I the only one who doesn’t get a flashy robe?” Lux asked him.
“Because I said so, humph!” The Master replied, childishly folding his arms. “Also, I ran out of ideas for designs. But don’t get all mopey about it. I think it suits you.”
The Master threw his arm around Luxu’s shoulder. “Look! Now we’re twins!”
“Uh huh…” Luxu then replied, unconvinced.
The Master sat at his desk flipping through an alchemy book. He turned to Luxu and spoke, “…so that makes you the indispensable number seven”.
Confused, Luxu blankly stared. The Master stood from his seat then held out his hand. Streaks of electricity writhed in his palm, and then a black and silver keyblade appeared. He handed it off to Luxu who couldn’t help but notice the strange eye implanted near the tip. Before he could ask about it, the Master tapped the keyblade’s sharp edge and chanted “Behold, the Gazing Eye!”
“The Gazing Eye? So, that’s the name of this keyblade then?”
“That’s not what it’s called. Hmm...come to think of it, it doesn’t have a name.”
Luxu examined the keyblade, gliding his hand across it. “No name, huh…”
“Well, gazing or not…” the Master sighed, titling his head back. “That keyblade does have an eye in it – my eye, to be exact”.
“Ew!” Luxu winced in disgust.
“Oh, you think that’s GROSS do ya!?” the Master shouted, somewhat annoyed. “Anyway, about your objective. I need you to pass down that ‘nameless’ keyblade to your apprentice, and then them to theirs, so that I can observe the future as it unfolds.”
“Observe? Wait, does this have something to do with the Book of Prophecies?”
The Master smirked. “Bingo! Since my link to the Book was severed, I can’t see its archives. So, I don’t know what’s going to happen next – well, not entirely. The Book doesn’t dictate fate – it only records what it sees. So, by my telling you this, you’ve already succeeded. That means you found an apprentice, passed down that handsome keyblade, and fulfilled your objective! Congratulations!”
The Master clapped hysterically, ignoring Luxu’s confused face.
(Why’s he all giddy and proud? I haven’t even done anything yet.)
“Unfortunately…” The Master clasped his hands then stretched his arms. “You’ll be on your own from here on out. Nothing to keep you company except for that keyblade and –”
The Master suddenly slapped his fist into his palm.
“Right! I completely forgot. Hold on a sec.”
The Master rose from his seat. He pulled a large and dusty black chest from underneath his desk, then dragged it to the center of the room. It had strange red and silver symbols all round its sides, and a large symbol with arrows pointing in every which way on its lid.
The Master cleared his throat. “As I was saying, it’ll just be you, that keyblade, and this chest. Once you’re completely out of sight, all you have to do from then on is watch with your own eyes – and my eye, of course – as things unfold. Then when the time is right, go off and do your thing.”
“What’s in it?”
The Master began to giggle uncontrollably.
“It’s a secret. And, well, you see, the thing is…you can never open it!” he said, nonsensically, then slapped his hand onto Luxu’s right shoulder. “Buuuut since I’m feeling generous, I’ll indulge you. This secret stays between us though, and you have to promise to never open the chest.”
Luxu nodded. The Master leaned in and quietly whispered into his ear. Luxu hung on to every word. The realization of what lay inside the box shook him to his very core. He stared at the man he admired and followed, bewildered, then asked “But why?!”
The Master smirked while staring him in the eyes. “You’ll see…”
After that Luxu met with the Master a couple more times before moving onto his mission. And just as the Master had done, he disappeared and patiently waited for what would unfold.

"Lux and Nox, replicas of the Sun and Moon whom were both transported to the world of Teyvat, to accomplish the Mission of discovering Khaenri'ah's secrets and existence. Lux, the strong twin who is determined to protect her Brother, Nox, the twin who is Kind, but may seen as gloomy. During exploring, something had happened that affected The Twin's missions, an abyss lecturer whom they tried to stop, clashed with Lux's Light blade; for no one shall interrupt with the Abyssal Princess/Prince's plans."
"The Incident made Nox use his Alchemy skills due to his Sister's demise, creating an exact clone of Lux from the Sun's energy and Alchemy. He needed to complete the mission, but without Lux, he can never have the Mission accomplished."
"Nox's experiment was a sucess, an exact clone of Lux has been created, he could go again and complete the Mission, forgetting that his Sister who is standing besides him, is only a mere hommunculus."
"When Nox and Lux were young, they always admired the sun and moon, The Gods of Lunar and Sun peeked down upon the two for they find them both worthy, granting them the ability to use the Sun and Moon's blessings."
