Hero's Spirit: A Vision of Nightshade

All For One did not reach the age of over 200 by not listening to his medical professionals.

He was still looking for a faster way to regain his full vision, but until then the Doctor had recommended him using a cyberpathy quirk to look through security cameras and such, so he wouldn't be out of practice with light levels, colors, and shape recognition.

He didn't enjoy it, because he disliked having his consciousness out of his body (at least unless it was going to be a permanent transfer). But he recognized the value of the Doctor's orders and did a few short bursts a day.

During one of these he noticed Tomura's little rival, Midoriya. (He would allow it until All Might finally chose a successor, then he'd encourage Tomura to switch over.) Midoriya was talking to a young woman on the sidewalk he seemed to know, who was speaking to him fondly. Maybe she had been his baby sitter when younger, or a neighbor? He focused the camera in on her.

She was beautiful, with long dark hair and purple eyes and lips that made a stark contract over pale skin. All For One felt his pulse quicken through his weak connection to his body as his heart pounded in his chest. His mouth when dry and his palms began to sweat. What was this feeling? It had been so long since he felt it? Ah, right. Abject Terror.

He slammed back in to his body and immediately opened the communication like to the League of Villain's current hideout.

"Shigeraki Tomura you will immediately cease any activity targeting Midoriya and any focusing one UA class 1A that might involve him." Tomura, predictably, did not like this announcement. "No! You said I could destroy the things I hate! And I HATE him."

"Tomura if you continue this vendetta we will both die."

"This is stupid! I'm not afraid of All Might-" "Nor am I. He is a pathetic worm that will one day die at your hand. But Midoriya is under the protection of Nightshade." Fear shone in speaking her name.

"Never heard of a hero by that name." Tomura began scratching at his neck.

"Not a hero, no." Kurogiri tilted his head in thought. "Was Nightshade not the name of the first villain?"

"It was. It is. I knew her well, as we had been allies for a time. She didn't seek power, but wielded it effortlessly. Personal power, power over others. She had amassed an army of those with powerful quirks even at the dawn of them and laid waste to the United States. She had been fond of the first hero, you see, though he was never credited as such. And the American Government not only killed him, they covered up all he had done, to ensure he was forgotten and their mistake never came to light. She crippled the country which at the time boasted the strongest military force in the world." "But she was stopped. I mean, America's still a country."

All For One shook his head. "No. She stopped when anyone even tangentially involved in the decision and those who defended them were dead. No quirk affected her, and he quirk could not be stolen. She is an untouchable wildcard who will slaughter thousands to make her point. She has chosen Midoriya as hers. Do Not Touch Midoriya Again!"

I was wondering if I could I request comfort fic for Shoto and/or Deku where the reader had to move on their own after just turning 18, because of her parents decided to move 4 hours away, but they had to stay behind because of her studies in the UA.

She feels good at living alone at first and they were supposed to celebrate her birthday later on, (because they were packing and cleaning on her orig b'day. )

But on a phone call with her mother, she says she doesn't know when they will have time to do that since they have other things coming up and they don't really have time. And just watching them live their lives without her.

And now she just feels like she's just outside of the family and out of their lives now, and that she's just on her own now, alone. Like she isn't really that important to them anymore., and will get forgotten. (even though it's not true)

Duo Maxwell

I can't remember when I started loving him but I do. He's outgoing and just so truthful and honest and caring. There are more reasons but I adore him.

Tim Drake

I love Tim. He's my favorite Robin, the one I grew up reading (even if I never read how he became Robin in the first place) and the one I know best. He's who I wanted to be like when I was younger (they all were actually).

Bucky Barnes

Baby boy has been through a lot but he's always bounced back. He's a great in proving that you can go through hell and make it to the other side.

He's a rebel.

Clint Barton

He's a little shit (to me), a circus brat, gave us Lucky and is hot in his own way. He lives off pizza, which is how he met Lucky (if I'm recalling correctly), owns his apartment building (or did), and helps his community.

Katsuki Bakugo (or is it Bakugou?)

He's all knowing, to him, swears up a storm, you can tell he cares for Izuku even if he doesn't act like it, same with the rest of the class, is smart as heck especially because of his quirk, and is learning to be a better person, slowly.

Draco Malfoy

Arrogant, mama’s boy (even if he says his dad all the time), handsome, obsessed with Harry, I love his smile, and just him in general

Alec Lightwood

Sweet, harsh, baby boy. His smile, his shyness, his overall love for his family, and he just wants to do the correct thing. I love Jace but I picked Alec for this.

Sam Winchester

He’s Dean’s world, John loves him, he’s the baby of the two brothers and uses that to his advantage. Smart, pretty, deadly, nice, and sweet. He’s everything a person would want.

Kurt Hummel

He knows exactly what he was and will work for it. He’s so confident and he’s handsome also. He’s a great person and friend and while he has his ups and downs, as everyone does, he’s not afraid to try things.

JD Dunne

He’s the youngest of the seven, the official sheriff (it’s all of them, he just took the actual job and Chris is in charge), he’s eager to do what’s correct, Buck literally took him under his wing from the get go (which got Chris to start liking him), he adores his friends and family, and he’s handsome as heck.

One extra because people might consider Bucky and Clint part of the same fandom.

Rodney McKay

He’s an asshole and knows it. Is one of the smartest people on Atlantis, there are a lot of them, scared to death of crap but still does it. He's also a bastard but that is him. He cares in his own way and loves his family and friends. He won't give up and just keeps going. He's my favorite person in the whole universe. I love him.

AAAAH Hi Pocket! Thank you so much for indulging my questions about KWWBN AU! You are very nice. If I may be allowed, how does the BNHA Two Heroes movie go in your KWWBN AU? What are David's and Melissa's reaction to Izuku? If you don't feel like answering this, treat yourself to your favorite snack. If you do answer, thank you and have a treat! Have a stress-free week!

Ah the Shields so this one was a detail I went back and forth on for A Long Time but now I think it's like this:

- Toshi DOES tell David he's adopting. I mean they're ex-husbands and even if that was mostly to avoid extra paperwork problems and worse tuition, you gotta tell your ex if he's going to have a new ex-step-son. Even if you don't tell him all the background, ulterior motive stuff.

- Normally I let these sort of changes keep Dave from doing stupid things. But I can't do that every time, now can I? David, being a father himself, and a scientist who knows it's Bad that Toshi's time is declining... Is like "oh no. Now I HAVE to get Toshi something in order to make sure that Japan doesn't lose All Might AND to make sure Izuku isn't orphaned a second time!!!"

- he's panicking. But now he has to figure out how to steal his own invention and get it to Japan without anyone knowing, because if it is public knowledge there was a theft than Toshi would just try to return the item and not even use it, plus the stress on top of everything else he has to deal with!

- And then Toshi sends him an email like "hey. So you know how my adopted son was quirkless? Yeah ok he just manifested a quirk anyway and it broke all his bones and I know your support stuff helped me in my early days please help" and now David is panicking about a third problem.

- This is when he tells Melissa that her ex-step-dad / uncle adopted a kid, and she's very excited and demands his email right away so they can be penpals.

- The problems start solving each other when David realizes 1- Melissa can help design stuff for Izuku, 2- he can rework his invention into bracers for Toshi and sneak them out in the boxes for Izuku

- This has the added benefit of him reducing the strain of use somewhat. Toshinori keeps the bracers around for emergencies, but tries not to rely on them because they still wear him out and he's got to focus on training Izuku and getting everything set up.

- But this is obviously not financially beneficial to Dave. He doesn't care. Sam does though, and once he realizes David isn't going to get them rich, he goes for the money in a different way: blackmailing David over him sneaking out illicit tech

when it's too late to love someone . . .

It seems I have a thing for the character who comes second to the one they care for the most. The one that means the world to them, the one they'd give their life for, doesn't feel the same, but they do for someone else. And they know they'd never be the same important, but they don't mind, because they love them so much.

Shoto knows he'll never be as important as Bakugo is to Izuku. He'll never reach the level of friendship they share, and that's alright, he'll still do everything for the two of them, because they are his dear friends. His dear friends who will put one another's life first, than his own.

Castiel. He knows he'll never become real family to Sam and Dean. That no matter how many times he'll die, he'll never be a real brother to them, that they'll never choose him, over one another. Yet, he'll die countless times so they'd never get to make that choice, he'll always throw away his life for anything.

Just look at them. Staring at someone that can't have.

And these are only two examples that come in mind. Mikasa with Eren and Armin is another. Mel with Jayce and Viktor. And so many more.
