Heyo, Happy International Ace Day to all my fellow aces and everyone out there!! I’m so glad I was able to find a piece of myself a bit ago and so many amazing friends and peeps within the whole ace spectrum and LGBT+ community!! You’re all super valid and loved, and I appreciate you all a heccin’ ton, more than I can even show!! <3
First art piece of Cormie and Falsus with the cool ace shrooms was made by @/Kevlar_Unicorn (over on Twitter and Instagram!), and I still love it so so freakin’ much!! ^v^
kinda late for #InternationalAceDay but here it is! HAPPY (belated)ACE DAY FOR THOSE FOLKS THERE!!
these two are flirting btw 📻🍎
anyway I originally planned to have a blue green-ish background cuz the background is supposed to be alastor's bayou but i don't want it to rot in my folders so here's another one
Today is #InternationalAceDay! I'm an ace person who is writing ace characters across all my shows and Forged Bonds is no exception. I wanted to explore the idea of demisexual Aphrodite for a long time and being able to tell that story this year means so much to me. And of course we have to have our aroace arrow ace Artemis in this show as well!
The audiodrama community is the first place I truly felt comfortable being ace in and to be able to share a bit of that comfort through my shows has always been a goal of mine. I hope yall feel that in this show and in everything I do.
Happy Ace Day from your local chaos ace! I look forward to sharing my ace characters again soon 🖤🩶🤍💜
Believe it or not, if you look past that random public domain illustration of a Bird I stole, you'll see that I'm actually somewhere around asexual!
So yeah, this has sort of influenced how I write - around 2 years ago I tried to write a romance novel and... yeah, didn't go well. This experience actually inspired me when I started writing a more successful NaNoWriMo project "The Most Tragical History of Captain James Hook" where, like any good tragic backstory, I had to give the villain a tragic Romance life. Since this book was a parody, I ended up just really leaning into the stilted quality of my previous writing for the sake of comedy.
Anyway time for some #InternationalAceDay shilling!
"The Nine-Two-Five Universe" is a workplace comedy series I write, featuring way too many cameos from public domain characters (including the main trio). Also, due to a series of unintended writing choices, most of the main cast ended up being Ace (hence why I can shill here) - https://archiveofourown.org/series/2955447
I spend so many years thinking that I was broken, that something was wrong with me for not feeling the same as others and not doing what is considered -normal-... But I wasn't wrong, this is how I am and since I come out I feel happy! Happy Aceday!
