You cannot convince me he didn't.

James was the most sassy drama queen in the entire castle (exception, of course, being Sirius Black)

Imagine him in his oversized ABBA shirt and hippie sunglasses.

And he's just strutting down the hallway.

He was proud to be a Marauder, proud to be Quidditch Captain, Proud to be James F-ing Potter.

He literally had the confidence and ego of a movie star.

James would always announce his presence when he entered a room.

He was the literal life of every party. (And threw about half of them)

He and Lily were THE IT couple.

Hot? Athletic? Funny? Nice to his friends?? He was husband material, let's face it.

And he knew it too.

James Potter was literally impossible to embarrass.

Peter tried embarrassing him one time by acting all weird but James just followed along, not caring who was watching him.

He's such a dork and that's part of his charm.

He let's lily do his hair up in rainbow colored bands sometimes.

It unironically looks good on him for some reason.

Oblivious James Potter (despite knowing how AMAZING he was) had no idea there were girls that were actually crushing on him.

It was probably for the best, he was terrible at all things flirting.

But even though he was confident and sure of himself, he was never overly arrogant.

He always said please and thank you.

Always held the door open for the people behind him.

He treated Lily like a QUEEN and never let anyone speak down to her.

Even though he was James Potter, quidditch captain, heir to one of the richest and longest standing wizarding families:

He was fiercely protective of his friends and never complained.

He was raised RIGHT by Effie.

He was also James, hopelessly in love with the same girl since first year. He was Prongs of The Marauders, best friends with the poor Half-Blood werewolf, the Black family reject, and the kind and awkward Peter Pettigrew.

He strutted down every corridor in that castle

But he always did it with his friends by his side.

And THAT my friends, is the real James Potter.

rivalship hc that i take VERY seriously:

kaiba is the one who confesses to yugi, and is the first to realise his feelings of the two. i also think he gets rejected initially, because yugi doesnt feel the same (or at least, he thinks he doesnt).

i just love seto getting humbled lol i think he gets rejected and he is DEVASTATED, but he sucks it up and nods at yugi who lets him down kindly but clearly, and then he reflects on their past a lot. in my headcanon of events, this happens years down the line after canon dm and wayyyy after dsod. i think once seto is able to be a lot more mature about who he is and what he thinks of himself and his past actions is when he is finally able to come to terms with his feelings for yugi and really make amends with the others as a result.

as for yugi: he tells the Gang like guys youre never gonna guess what happened lmao and tea is like omg did he finally confess????? and yugi is like wait what how did you know??? and tristan is like ugh, omg im so glad it finally happened. the tension between you guys has been unreal since high school, im so glad we are past that. *cue joey patting yugi on the back, tearing up* "i'm so proud of you, yug', even if you are dating that rich kid now." and yugi is just mindblown like wait guys WTF ARE U TALKING ABOUT I DONT LIKE HIM. and theyre just. like. pause. yes u do? and well, after enough time in denial he finally comes to terms with it and is like omg wait you guys were right -> begs mokuba to help him ask seto out and then BOOM. gay people....
