“We felt as if we were just one body—bone, blood, flesh—that momentarily splits apart to come back together, pulled by the irremediable need for touch.” - Gabriela Ponce, Blood Red
How have you been? You've been posting less and I just wanted to make sure you were doing OK! Make sure to drink water and get plenty of sleep! 💛
I’ve been well! Just been hanging out with family and friends for the holidays :^) also working on real life stuff for work as well as oc stuff haha, I’ll probably post that stuff soonish.
For now, have a lil fireelec doodle I did in my spare time
Your Honor, they kissed while covered in the blood of the fallen.
Your Honor, they’re in love.
I rest my case.
Let’s just also take a second to appreciate the growing blood puddle under Iseult’s bed since Cazador’s palace. Every morning after Astarion feeds it grows bigger. The feedings must be wild. I fully support it. After all, blood is their love language.
Funny things I found out playing with language setting in Netflix while looking episode 15:
Chilchuck's scream sounds HAUNTED in brazilian portuguese. Give it a try if you can.
(You can hear it here)
In spanish dub, Senshi says: "tocó mis senos de hombre", which means "he touched my man boobs" in Spanish. And I think that's the best dub line one so far.
Vladimir Mayakovsky, from a letter featured in "Love in the Heart of Everything; The Correspondence between Vladimir Mayakovsky & Lili Brik, 1915-1930,"
calling my lover "mine" but not in the way that my toothbrush or notebook are mine, mine in the way my neighborhood is mine, and also everybody else's, "mine" like mine to tend to, mine to care for, mine to love. "mine" not like possession but devotion.
