I need you all to know that I woke up at 3am to feverishly compose an Apology Post (no ukelele) for some heinously offensive thing I was convinced I had included in my debut, Strictly No Heroics, but by the time I opened Tumblr I'd forgotten what it was
I just remembered and -
Fellas, I was convinced I had written the entire book as if the American Revolution never happened (???). And that Riley at one point went on a page-long rant about the glories of the English monarchy (??????). And that no one, from my Betas, agent, editor, or sensitivity readers, had stopped that atrocity from going into print (????????????????????)
Anyway Happy Fourth to all who celebrate, congrats on tossing that tea in the harbour?
I think Batman got all of his medical information from St. elsewhere and like Grey’s Anatomy. I know everyone says he went to medical school. No. He’s studied Pre-med. Never finished the degree. but he spent a lot of time watching medical dramas. And decided that that’s all he needed.
It’s taken me five minutes to type this because I keep scrolling and then exiting tumblr and forgetting why I’m here but I am now an Ashlyn calls Maddox Bub as a term of endearment truther.
lockwood and lucy falling asleep on the couch together on accident...george walks in and puts a blanket over them
george and lucy paint each other's nails while exchanging gossip conspiracy theories
lockwood notices that george's specs are held together by tape down the middle, so he gets him a new pair, the exact same kind
lockwood started wearing suits after he finished training with sykes, but he never really learned how to tie a tie properly. not until george teaches him how
lucy absentmindedly leaves doodles everywhere, on the margins of george's notes, on lockwood's receipts from satchell's...the boys keep her sketches and tape them above their desks. there may or may not be a doodle of lockwood holding a giraffe and of george as an owl (idk that one quote about him looking like a constipated owl has never left me)
laundry mix-up leads to them wearing someone else's shirt or jumper or trousers at some point, but then they just keep sharing clothes and no one says anything about it
