pairing: y/n and Matt sturniolo
summary: a girl with a lot of baggage and a boy with even more try to help put each others pieces back together one by one. A story about a girl who’s broken and a boy who doesn’t talk.
warnings: mentions of being scarcely thin, mentions of lack of food, toxic household
—————————————————————
Matt and I walked out of his room back into the living room where Chris and Nick were still talking.
"You don't know her Chris"
"Neither do you! I'm just saying that--"
I cleared my throat and they both haulted their conversations and turned to us. I looked over at Matt who held a firm gaze on them, his eyebrows low. I swallowed and shifted on my feet suddenly feeling very unwelcome.
I turned Matt.
"Hey, I'll see you tomorrow right?" I mumbled hugging my arms to myself. Matt broke his gaze on his brothers and turned to me. He just blinked at me for a second and then pushed off his feet and walked up to Chris.
Chris looked down at him. Matt pulled out his phone before typing something out on it and showed it to him. Chris glanced over the screen and looked up at him.
"Why?" He asked. I just looked between them as Matt typed on his phone again and brought it up to Chris's face. Chris looked to Matt and shook his head. Matt glared at him.
What was going on?
Matt typed again. Chris looked at the phone. Chris glanced over to me and my eyes widened.
"Do you want to stay for dinner?" He asked unenthusiastic at me. My mouth opened and I looked at Matt who wore a sympathetic glance. I felt sick to my stomach. I felt goosebumps appear on my arms.
"Uh, No it's okay" I said quickly shaking my head. One dinner with Chris and he might jump across the dinner table and strangle me. Nick stepped forward.
"Please stay. I'll cook, I'm a good cook. Matt's never complained" Nick smiled brightly at me. I blinked towards Matt who rolled his eyes. Obviously Matt never complained because he didn't speak.
I still thought it was too much, I didn't want to take their food. The sandwhich Matt gave me was too much in the first place. I shook my head quickly.
"No, It's okay. I think....I think my dad--He is gonna pick up something. He'll be waiting on me" I lied, badly. I didn't even know when I went home if my dad would be there, let alone have food waiting for me. My stomach growled at the thought.
Nick studied my eyes.
"I'll be fine, I don't need your food" I said softly shaking my head. Chris sighed and looked at me. "Just stay" He mumbled the least condescending thing he's said to me all day. I took in a breath and looked at Matt who's eyes pleaded with me.
I swallowed.
"Uh, okay. Fine" I nodded. "Thank you" I whispered, looking between them. Nick smiled and nodded as he walked into the kitchen. Chris just shook his head as he followed. And Matt smiled at me.
I smiled back.
-
I felt eyes on me as I ate. I glanced up as I shoved yet another spoon full of food into my mouth. I set it down before meeting Nick's eyes.
"Is it good?" He chuckled at the speed of which I ate. I wiped the napkin against my face. "Yeah, I love pasta" I breathed chuckling awkwardly. Matt shook his head smiling down at his plate.
The dinner was nearly ending and I had basically licked my plate clean. I wasn't lying. The pasta was incredible. I hadn't had homemade food since my mom got sick over a year ago.
I sighed as I pushed my plate away from me and the boys around me continued to eat. I would have been self consciousabout how fast I devoured the meal, but I was too hungry to care. I hadn't eaten at all that day and I didn't know where my next meal would be.
"Did you take your medicine?" Chris looked up from his plate looking at Matt. Matt looked up from chewing and looked at Chris. He just blinked at him.
"You're suppose to take it with food" He said pointing to his plate. Matt looked away from his clenching his jaw. I just looked between them.
"Did you take it?" He asked again. Matt set his fork down and nodded raising his eyebrows, sending daggers at his brother.
"Okay, Jeez. I was just asking, don't have to get all defensive." Chris mumbled looking back down and shoving his plate away. I looked over at Matt and he stared at the table before pushing off his chair and walking towards his room.
Nick turned his head as he walked away. Chris just shook his head.
"You're not his mother, Chris. He can take care of himself, he knows when to take it" Nick glared at Chris. Nick stood up taking the plates off the table.
"He actually can't, Nick. If we--"
"Don't. We have a guest" Nick looked at me before wondering off towards the sink. Chris looked over at me. I just stared back at him. He sighed and leaned back in his chair.
"So what's your deal?" He asked blaniently. My mouth opened as I stared at me. "My deal?" I asked pointing to myself. You're the one treating me like i'm some random bully-bitch, my mind screamed.
He pursed his lips as his eyes ran over me and all the sudden I felt like I was naked sitting in front of him, I felt so vulnerable. I shifted in my seat. He met my eyes again.
"You don't have food at home" He stated. It wasn't a question. I blinked at him and I felt my cheek redden.
"No I-I do" I nodded looking at him, crossing my arms over my chest. He blinked at me and raised his eyebrows.
Had Matt told him that? Matt didn't even really know that.
"You devoured that meal like it was going to disappear if you didn't eat it in under 3 minutes, you're skin and bones, and you're a bad liar" He tilted his head. I smacked my lips together and looked down.
I didn't know I was that transparent. I took in a breath and turned my embarrassment into anger.
"Didn't your mother ever teach you not to comment on women's bodies?" I breathed glaring at him. His gaze didn't lighten.
"My mother's dead"
My glared dropped and I sat up. "Oh, I didn't know. I'm sorry" I shook my head. He just looked at me and sighed.
"Look, I'm sorry for being such an ass eariler, I shouldn't have--" He sighed, as If this apology was a lot for him. He glanced to the empty seat next to me.
"I misjudged you and I'm sorry" He muttered. I blinked up at him. I shook my head as I played with my fingers. "How do you know you misjudged me? You don't even know me" I mumbled. He licked his lips.
"I've never seen Matt smile so much in one sitting" He stated. I looked up at him, meeting his eyes. "That's how I know I was wrong" He said. I just looked at him.
Matt walked back into the kitchen and slammed the empty pill bottle in front of Chris. Chris looked up at him. Matt raised his eyebrows. Chris stood up and took the pill bottle and rattled it in front of Matt before walking off.
Matt glared at him before looking back towards me. I smiled softly up at him. I stood up before wiping my hands on my jeans. I blinked up at Matt.
"I should go, my dad's probably waiting" I stated. He wasn't. I knew he wasn't. Nick turned around looking at me. "Can I help? Before I go?" I asked as I began to walk toward Nick washing the dishes. He shook his head.
"No, you go. Thanks for coming, try not to steal anymore bandaids" He chuckled. My eyes widened as I glanced over at Matt who furrowed his eyebrows looking at Nick. I swallowed and wrapped my arms around myself.
"Yeah, I'll try" I whispered before walking towards the door. Matt walked behind me before I opened the door. He stepped outside with and I looked up at him.
"Your brothers are nice" I smiled. He tilted his head. I smiled and closed my eyes. "Nick's nice...Chris is....intense" To say the least. Matt nodded. I sighed as I looked away from the house.
"I'll go" I mumbled. "See you tomorrow" I whispered. His mouth parted as I turned from him and walked down the steps. I heard him walk behind me. I turned around and he blinked at me.
"What are you doing?" I asked. He motioned for me to walk. I turned and walked, I heard his footsteps behind me before he walked beside me. I paused and turned to him again.
"Matt, what are you doing?" I asked again. He looked up and motioned around us. To the fact that it was dark. I looked back at him.
"You don't have to walk me home" I shook my head. He just looked at me with a blank expression. I closed my eyes and sighed and turned to walk. He walked with me, sliding his hands into his pockets as he walked next to me.
We walked in silence for a few minutes but I couldn’t help but feel a fire in my chest from Nick’s comment. I didn’t want Matt to know about that. The fact that I stole in general. Let alone from the place his brother worked at.
“I didn’t steal those bandiads because I just wanted to steal. I just….needed them” I defended myself. Matt looked up from the ground and his eyes burned in me.
I wrapped my arms around myself as we walked and I stayed staring at the ground in front of me.
“I don’t want you to think that I’m going to steal from you or your brothers, I would never do something like that Matt I swear—“ I shook my head. I swallowed the lump in my throat.
“I’m not a thief” I whispered.
I didn’t want him to judge me, but he had to have been. I mean who wouldn’t? Stealing is wrong. What I did was wrong. And I knew that. Matt probably knew that too.
He didn’t say anything but he watched me. I didn’t dare look up at him. I didn’t want to read his eyes, because I knew what they were going to tell me.
I felt him pull my arm loose from my around my body. I looked up and his hand slid into mine. I looked down at our hands and then up to him, he just looked forward.
I smiled softly. It was his way of saying:
It’s okay I’m not judging you
I smiled towards the ground.
As we approach my house I felt bad butterflies sworn my stomach. I didn't want him to see my house. My house was big enough for me and my dad, that was it. His house was big enough for an entire family. I swallowed as I stared at my shoes hitting the pavement.
But when we got there. He didn't say anything. He barley looked at my house. He just smiled as I walked into my house and then turned on his feet to walk back.
-
"Do you know Jake Andrews?"
He looked up at me holding my gaze and then looked back towards his book. He shrugged. I nodded and looked back to my book. The only sounds between us were the sounds of his pencil scrapping against the paper.
I tapped my foot as I stared ay book page. I couldn't focus. There was a hockey game tonight and I knew Jake was playing and I half-way told him that I would go. I bit my lip as I read the same words on the page over and over.
It was back then when I-It was back then when I-It was back then when I-
I tapped my foot faster.
I looked up when I felt his hand cover over on my leg, stilling the tapping. His eyes focused in on his page, his glasses swooped on his nose. He lifted his hand from my knee without looking over at me, after he stilled my tapping. My knee burned where he touched me.
"Sorry" I quickly mumbled realizing my tapping must have annoyed him. He didn't react. I set my book down realizing I wasn't getting anywhere with reading the same line over and over again.
"Do you ever go to the hockey games?" I asked turning to him. He sighed and set down his pencil and gave me his full attention.
"Sorry" I shook my head realizing he was trying to focus. I lifted my book and stuck my nose in between the pages.
He reached over and set down my book. I looked over at him and he raised his eyebrows. I brought my knees up to my chest.
"Did you know Jake was on the hockey team?" I asked. He pursed his lips and shrugged. I looked down at the table.
"He wants me to come to his game" I mumbled. Matt stared at me. I rested my chin on my knee before tilting my head towards him.
"Will you go with me? I mean--If I went to the game?" I asked him. He stared at me as if contemplation crossed his face.
He shrugged.
I swallowed and looked down. "I think he wants to be my friend" I stated. I felt Matt's gaze burn into me. I looked up at him he just slowly shook his head. "What?" I asked. He just shook his head.
"Do you not like him or something?" I asked. He sighed and shrugged, annoyance crossing his face. I sighed and picked up my book as I looked at the page.
"Well I think he's nice" I breathed. Matt looked up from his page and looked at me. I didn't turn to look back at him.
-
I smiled as I pushed the doors of the gym open. Matt followed reluctantly behind me. I pulled the jacket tightly over myself as I turned around to look at him.
"This is fun right? I've never been to a hockey game before" I smiled up at him. Blank stare. I smiled and grabbed his arm as I drug him towards the bleachers. He tensed under my touch.
I sat down and he sat next to me as the players skated on the ice in front of us. I looked over at Matt who watched the players on the ice. I shrugged the jacket off my shoulders.
"Do you want your jacket back? I think it's colder in here than outside" I chuckled as I pulled my arm out. He looked down at me and shook his head. I furrowed my eyebrows. "Are you sure?" I asked. He nodded and leaned back.
I pulled the jacket back over me.
"Suit yourself" I mumbled as I looked back towards the ice. My eyes grazed over the players. I spotted one with longer, flowy blonde hair. I tilted my head as he turned. It was Jake. I smiled and he glanced over the bleachers before his eyes landed on me.
He smiled and waved. I smiled and waved back. He turned before he skated in position to start the game.
"See" I leaned over to Matt. "He's nice" I smiled. He raised his eyebrows and bit his lip nodding sarcastically. I pushed him. "Don't be rude" I chuckled. He looked away.
Matt stood up and I looked up at him. He pointed towards the concession stand. I nodded and looked back towards the game. He pointed towards me. I looked up.
"I don't want anything" I shook my head. He just blinked at me for a second before he walked off the bleachers without another word, as I refocused on the game. The puck went into the air and they fought for it.
I didn't really know how hockey worked, and I didn't even know how to skate. Honestly the sport of hockey seemed hard to someone liked me. I couldn't really tell where the puck was, they moved to fast for me to see.
A few minutes passed before Matt came back and handed me an apple. I looked up at him.
"I didn't ask for anything" I said. He sighed and sat down before pulling out his phone and typing something. He moved his phone over to show me.
They didn't have any strawberries, blueberries, or blackberries.
I smiled and chuckled before remembering our previous conversation about my fruit chocies. I shook my head as I took a bite of the apple.
"You have to stop feeding me" I smiled shaking my head. “But thank you” I smiled leaning into him briefly. He just looked down at me. I lifted off of him and leaned forward. He blinked at me for a second before he opened his bottle of Pepsi.
The game wasn't much of anything. It was a back and forth of angry men hitting each other and a puck sometimes going into the goal. I would have been bored out of my mind If I wasn't thinking about what to say to Jake after the game.
If he even wanted to talk to me. If he had other friends waiting to talk to him. Not that he considered me a friend yet, but—I don't know. I pushed my hair behind my face as they skated off the ice.
Matt was quick to stand up. I looked up at him, still sitting.
"Wait, I want to talk to Jake before we go" I breathed. He let out a breath and his jaw hardened as he reluctantly sat back down. It wasn't 5 minutes later before Jake pushed out of the locker room and his eyes landed on me.
I looked over at Matt.
"I'll be right back" I stated, he didn't react. He just looked at me as I stood up and walked off the bleachers towards the boy with flowing blonde hair.
"Hey" He breathed pushing his sweaty hair back. "Hey" I smiled back. "I was happy to see you show up. I didn't think you would" He smiled down at me as he pulled his bag over his shoulder. I smiled and nodded.
"So what are you doing now? Do you want to come eat with some of me and my friends?" He breathed. I blinked up at him not expecting the sudden invitation. I opened my mouth and turned to see Matt still sitting there staring at us.
"Is that who you came with?" Jake's voice brought be back to him. I blinked up at him. "Matt? Yeah, we're friends" I nodded. He furrowed his eyebrows down at me and gave me a weird look.
"What?" I laughed lightly. He shook his head looking off.
“No, I think that's cool. It's just--" He cringed. "Does he talk to you? I don't think i've even seen that kid say a word, he's kind of like a ghost" He chuckled. I raised my eyebrows and looked at my feet.
"I mean he-" I swallowed trying to find the right words. Jake just looked down at me. I felt the pressure from his gaze. "He's a good friend" I nodded blankly. Jake shook his head and chuckled as he looked down at me.
"Is that his jacket?" He pointed to the jacket around my shoulder. I looked down at the jacket over me. "Yeah he---we're friends" I shrugged. Jake nodded and rocked back on his heels.
"Okay" He nodded. I smiled and nodded. "So? Food? Me and my friends?" He asked raising his eyebrows. The words friends rang in my ear. I really wanted to go, but I really didn't want to leave Matt.
"I still need help with that biology thing, we could go to my house after" He smiled tilting his head showing his lop-sided smile. I took in a breath as my mind raced back and forth.
Jake
Matt
Jake
Matt
Jake-
"I-" I turned around to look at Matt but he was gone. My eyes widened as I searched the crowd for a second. Fuck. I turned back to Jake.
"I'm so sorry. Can you just give me one second?" I breathed as I backed away. He chuckled and nodded as he turned. "If you wanna come, my car's out back. You know which one" He smiled before turning away.
The memory of his white leather seats washed over me and I almost forgot what I was doing. Fuck, Matt.
I turned as I pushed through the crowd of people trying to exit the gym. I wasn't that tall so I attempted to look for the brown hair I was searching for, but I couldn't find it.
I pushed out of the doors into the parking lot. I turned in circles before I saw him walking towards the sidewalk. I groaned in annoyance as I chased after him.
"Matt" I yelled. He just kept walking. I ran up to him and grabbed his arm, pulling him back. He looked down at me.
"Matt, what are you doing? Why did you leave?" I asked shaking my head. He glanced behind me and then back down to me.
"You totally just left me in there" I laughed lightly, but slightly frustrated. He’s too good at running away and damn was he fast.
He scowled at me and shook his head before he started walking again. I followed him.
"Wait, what is your problem?" I asked glaring at him. He let out a breath and shook his head before shrugging.
"Is it Jake? Do you not like him or something?" I asked shaking my head trying to understand. He just blinked at me and then shrugged. I looked down at my feet and let go of a breath.
I turned around and saw Jake's car parked outside and a few people crowding around it. I turned back to Matt.
"He wants me to go hang out with him and his friends" I breathed looking up at him. Matt didn't turn to look at the group. His face didn't even change, but his eyes did.
"I wasn't gonna go but-"
He sighed and looked behind me and motioned towards the group. I turned and looked at the group.
"Y/n!" I heard Jake's voice. He waved me over. I looked back at Matt. "Do you care?" I whispered. He paused before shaking his head. I swallowed tapping my foot.
"I'll see you tomorrow then?" I said. He just looked at me and then shrugged. I gave him a smile before turning and walking towards the group.
Then, I paused before walking back over to Matt quickly.
"Matt, wait" I breathed. He turned and looked at me raising his eyebrows, slightly smiling. I shrugged off the jacket.
"Your jacket" I said as I held it out for him to take. His expression became unreadable as I took the jacket out of my hand.
"I'll..see you" I gave a small smile. He stared blankly at me as I turned around and walked away.

Barcelona Femení x Child!Reader
Summary: You're sick
Tumblr media
It started with a little cough.
Ingrid didn't really think anything of it. Sometimes, you just had a cough. It wasn't really a big thing which was why she was so happy to leave you in Mapi's company while she went to do some media things.
Only, the cough seemed to be getting worse.
It started out as a little tickle in the back of your throat at breakfast and then got more and more scratchy as time went on. Your head started to pound too and your arms felt all weird and heavy in a way that you had never really experienced before.
"Hey," Mapi said, shaking you lightly," Are you okay?"
You shook your head, eyes squeezing shut. "My throat don' like me, Mapi," You said, squeezing at your neck as if it would help.
You coughed again. Your eyebrows drew together after it took you a while to stop.
From just outside your field of vision, a hand moved until it was pressed against your forehead.
Your frown deepened as you darted your eyes to the side. The hand belonged to Irene. You looked at her.
She was frowning too. "Does it hurt to swallow, Nena?"
You nodded miserably.
"Say aah."
"Aah!"
Irene moved closer so she could look in your mouth, frown deepening for a moment before she drew away and nodded.
"You've got a case of tonsillitis there, Nena."
You don't know that word but you nodded because Irene is a mama and mamas know things like this.
"Tonsillitis?!" Mapi exclaimed, her voice going very squeaky," Shit! Is she going to die? Do we need to call an ambulance?!"
Irene rolled her eyes. "She just needs some medicine and for you to calm down. Once Ingrid's back, you can take her home. It's not that serious."
Mapi certainly looked like this was serious. "Does she need them removed?!"
Irene laughed. "Not right now. If it gets worse or keeps happening then yes, maybe, but what she needs now is medicine and some water. Calm down, Mapi."
Mapi took a deep breath before panic flashed on her face. "I don't have kid's medicine!"
"I do." Irene pulled a little bottle out of her bag and shook it. "I was meant to bring it home for Matteo but I'm sure he can share."
You dutifully took the medicine even though it tasted kind of yucky and drank the water Mapi put in front of you.
Breakfast was easy after that but there was separate training for the defenders so Mapi had to hand you off to someone else to watch.
Tia Alexia sat next to you when she took a break from her gym session.
You felt better than earlier but still a little bad.
Tia Alexia checked your temperature like how Irene did and you leaned into her cold hand. She laughed.
"Careful there, Nena," She said," Don't go falling asleep on me."
"'m not sleepin'," You slurred, forcing your eyes open and squinting at her.
"Sure you're not," Alexia said, pushing the hair out of your eyes," But I need those eyes of yours open. Can I check your throat?"
Everyone had been checking your throat now. Irene did it earlier. Mapi did it a lot before she trained. Even Marta and Caro had looked at it for some reason.
It was routine now so you opened your mouth and stuck out your tongue.
Alexia looked inside for a moment, nodding a few times before getting you to drink from your water bottle. She checked your throat again afterwards before she went back to her weights.
She kept looking back at you though, as if to check you hadn't disappeared or anything.
Honestly, you don't think that you have the strength to just up and disappear. You were content to be miserable on the floor with your scratchy throat until your next babysitter came to get you.
You missed Ingrid. You wish she finished her job so she could come and get you. Last year when you had the flu, Ingrid flew all the way back home to make sure you were okay. Mama didn't like that because she thought it was making you co-dependent or something but Ingrid and you didn't care.
Ingrid made the best soup and she had medicine that tasted nice, not like the one that Irene gave you earlier.
"What with the grumpy face, Nena?" Lucy asked as she joined you, poking at your cheek. "Why aren't you smiling?"
"Ingrid's not here," You whined," And I'm sick."
"You're sick? How come?"
"I just am!" As if the punctuate your point, you flew into a big coughing fit.
Lucy looked very worried, flapping her hands about like Mapi did earlier and looking around the room as if someone would save her.
Tia Alexia came back and wedged the straw of your bottle back into your mouth as soon as you finished coughing.
"When is Ingrid done?" She asked as you drank your water," Nena really needs to go home. Some cuddles and a nap would do her wonders."
"She should be done soon," Lucy said," I don't think she knows yet. I can go and check."
"No," Alexia said," I'll send Patri and Pina. You've still got a gym session to get through."
"I can wait with her until Ingrid comes," Lucy insisted, looking down pointedly at you as you began to scratch at your throat again," Do we need to give her more medicine? She looks uncomfortable."
Alexia looked at her watch. "We've still got another two hours before we can give her another dose."
You scratched harder at your throat and Lucy gently took your hand to bring it away. You whined a little, pulling out her grip. She was running warm. You didn't like that. You wish she were cold like Tia Alexia was.
Lucy was like a furnace as she sat next to you and you edged as far away as possible. You tugged at your shirt and kept having to shift around because your clothes were sticking uncomfortably to your skin.
Your throat was getting very scratchy again and you whined.
"Ooh," A new voice said," That doesn't sound very good."
You whined again and raised your arms.
Ingrid picked you up instantly, checking your forehead with the back of her hand and looking down your throat like everyone else had done.
"Irene says there's somethin' wrong with my tonsils," You replied.
Ingrid smiled, pushing your head into her neck. "That's okay," She said," How about we go home? I'll make you some soup and we'll have some cuddles."
"With Bagheera?"
"Yes, with Bagheera."
"Is your Mapi coming?"
"Mapi can come too."
"And I get soup?"
Ingrid laughed. "Yes, you get soup."
"Okay."

company & comfort ||alexia putellas x reader||
Tumblr media
you take care of alexia when she gets sick.
the incessant beeping of alexia's alarm pulled the woman out of a deep sleep. she woke surprised to find herself fast asleep in an empty bed. usually you were still asleep whenever she woke up. that was just the first of a few things that alexia woke up noticing were off. the second was the pounding in her head, like someone was taking a jackhammer to her skull trying to break a piece off.
a normal person would have taken that as a sign that they were sick, but alexia wasn't normal by any standards. you had always held her in an extraordinairy regard. alexia didn't take sick days like everyone else. she was the captain of the biggest women's soccer club in the world, and that came with extra duties. simply put, alexia didn't believe that she could afford to get sick as far as her career was concerned.
"ale, are you okay? you look a little pale." it was asked purely out of concern for your girlfriend, only to be met with a nasty glare from alexia. she softened the expression on her face a little when she noticed the way that you backed away from her.
"my head, it hurts a little. that's all. nothing like last week," alexia said. you were pretty sure that she was reassuring herself more than she was telling you. it most likely was the bug that had run through nearly half the team during their break. you had caught it from ona, who had begged you to take care of her when she came down with the sickness. after that, alexia had taken care of you and despite being in close proximity to you for the whole time you were sick, she hadn't shown any symptoms. at least she hadn't until today.
"well, take some medicine and go lay down. i'll let coach know that you don't feel well. better to nip this quickly than let it fester and grow," you told her. alexia didn't like the idea of sitting at home all afternoon, but she wasn't in the headspace to argue. that was your clue that alexia really wasn't feeling good because you swore sometimes that arguing with you was her second favorite past time.
alexia took some of the leftover medicine from when you had gotten sick and laid back down in bed. you made something small for her to eat, knowing that even if alexia was sick, that didn't mean her appetite would be gone. alexia's body ran on a schedule, and you had assigned yourself the job of making sure that she could rely on you to keep her on that schedule. the last thing you wanted was to somehow have alexia in worse condition after taking care of her.
"aw, poor baby. can i get you anything else?" you asked. there wasn't really much that you could do, but since you had already gotten sick, you could offer a bit of company and comfort. alexia didn't say anything, but she did open her arms up and shift over just enough to allow you plenty of room on the bed.
you smiled to yourself as you got in bed next to her. instead of wanting to be held like you had, all alexia wanted to do was hold you while she was sick. she wrapped her arms around you as your head settled on her chest. you could hear her wheezing with each breath, which deeply unsettled you. alexia seemed to pick up on your sudden discomfort and began rubbing little circles on your back.
"maybe if my head starts to feel better later, we can go out and play a little? i was really looking forward to practice today," alexia suggested. if she really did have what you had, there was no "getting better" for today. you hummed in agreement. you did want to go out and play a little, even if you weren't really looking forward to practice. it was a cardio day, which meant lots of running and sprints, which as a goalkeeper, was not your strong suit.
"just because you're sick doesn't mean i'm letting you get a goal on me." alexia chuckled at that. in reality, you knew that alexia would get a goal on anyone if she really wanted to. she had proven it time and time again in practice. the days whenever you had been a little mouthy, she had even started to have a little fun with it. both you and alexia knew that she could utterly humiliate you if she really wanted to.
"after i rest, it's all over for you," alexia teased. you didn't completely doubt it. she'd remember your teasing for the next practice she felt good enough to attend. alexia never went easy on you. everybody on the team knew that you were together, and alexia didn't want them to think that she was going soft. technically, it made you a better goalkeeper, but at the end of most days, it had you harboring some negative feelings about that day's practice.
alexia's hands ran through your hair, slowly coming to a stop as she fell back asleep. you quickly joined her in slumber, always glad to get a couple of extra hours here and there. alexia wasn't a big fan of naps, not even after a grueling practice or long week. she could keep going and going until she completely burnt herself out and was forced to take a step or two back for a moment. getting to lay in bed all day with alexia was like a secret blessing for you. you hated that she felt bad, but you were glad to see her getting proper rest for once.
even when she had woken up, alexia didn't make any moves to try and do anything. she did join you in the kitchen when you decided to make some soup, but that was only because she didn't trust your cooking completely. you knew that you weren't the best cook, but alexia had asked for homemade soup and agreed to talk you through it so there was no way that you could mess it up.
"stop making that face, i told you we should have ordered in," you said as alexia grimaced a little. the soup was somehow incredibly salty despite you not having done anything aside from exactly what alexia told you. she had even measured out the spices for you, and yet, you deemed the soup nearly inedible.
"it's fine, i swear. i just am not very hungry. can you get me a gatorade mi carina?" alexia asked you sweetly. you nodded, giving her a peck on the lips as you got up. she had finally given up on telling you not to do that, which you were grateful for. alexia even leaned in to kiss you whenever you brought the drink back to her.
the two of you laid on the couch together watching a movie until alexia started coughing. you sat up with her and rubbed her back until the fit stopped. alexia's eyes were watering as she sat on the couch trying to catch her breath. it broke your heart to see her in any kind of pain, especially since the last time you saw her cry was when she got injured.
"it's okay, i've got you," you tried soothing her. alexia tried to stand up from the couch, but she fell back almost instantly. "take it easy. do you want to go back to bed?"
"no, i want to go on the balcony. i need a change of scenery," alexia told you. you helped her up and over to the balcony. the two of you sat down in the chairs, alexia putting her feet up on your lap to stretch out. "thank you for taking care of me today, mi carina. i know that i did not do this good a job when you were sick."
"it's okay, i like taking care of you. today has been surprisingly easy." you pushed alexia's legs off of your lap and leaned over her chair to give her a kiss. alexia put her hands on the back of your neck to hold you close for a couple of seconds after the kiss. "i'll always take care of you, even if you won't let me."
"sometimes, i swear you are too good for me." you vehemently disagreed with alexia's sentiment, but you weren't going to argue with her today. instead, you pressed another kiss to her lips before you sat back in your own chair. in your mind, alexia was too good for you, but you weren't going to look a gift horse in the mouth. alexia loved you just as much as you loved her, and that was what mattered.

— dodging his kiss
including kaveh, thoma, xiao, scaramouche x gn! reader
꒰ genre ꒱ — fluff, i love making them suffer
Tumblr media
— kaveh
"hey no fair! give me a kiss."
nonsense. utter nonsense. kaveh wondered what had started all of this.
the urge, or let's rephrase that, the sudden interest you took to squabble at every minuscule situation, alternating between being his sweet significant other or turning into a taunting little devil.
again, before he was about to leave for the akademiya, kaveh helplessly required from you to send him off with a kiss, just one, but as he went on to fill the distance between you both, you quickly tipped your head to the side in order for him to barely hit your cheek.
he's frowning, the warm air he exhaled tiptoeing on your skin.
"why are you like this?" for an individual as romantic as kaveh seemed to be, you sure had him on the edge the entire time, tickling out every sweet reaction you desired to witness and archons, was he easy to get to this state.
one might think that being roommates with the scribe surely had his sensitive nerves tightened, had them turned to clear, unbreakable diamonds that weren't able to be messed with.
"you're cute when you're angry." you shamelessly admitted back to him, benevolently conveying the sweetest smile you had stored while watching him pout, settling for a closer spot next to you when he ultimately caged you in with his arms.
and when he was hardly an inch away from your face, kaveh decided to give you a taste of your own, bitter medicine.
"really? so you're only cute when you're nice."
dramatically, and in his usual fashion, kaveh tipped his head back to deflect his attention from you to the ceiling, nervously waiting for a response back while also mentally praying to the dendro archon that he didn't cause you any pain with his words.
you see, it was quite seldom for him to tease you back, to push you over the edge because in reality he clearly enjoyed the differences in personalities you both shared.
it's also safe to say that he preferred your minimal plays to that of his roommates, who'd always go too far like last time when he casually decided to grab both keys, making it impossible for kaveh to sleep in their shared home so that he had to come over, in the midst of the night, to stay overnight at your place.
(not that you mind, if anything, you'd love it when alhaitham could repeat the corresponding situation as much as he desired to.)
your smile, in a sudden, slowly disappears when it after a couple of seconds, rose back up in a contagious laughter, your palm subconsciously hiding your mouth, "you're really bad at this."
with your final words, you quickly grabbed his chin to pull him closer for a kiss, missing his bewildered guise when you drew yourself back again.
"i have other qualities, you know?"
kaveh spoke in a low tone, a little hazy, still seeking for more when he had long since forgotten that he actually wanted to leave for the akademiya.
Tumblr media
— thoma
"hey." kindly, thoma carried your hand in his palm when he gently brought you to his warm chest, "my break is almost over."
he looks sullen, thoma was saddened that he couldn't spend more time with you, just a little longer, but it had been quite a busy evening today in which he was greatly required, his helping hands were obviously not to be compared with any other.
thoma gingerly hooked his arms around your waist before flaring his soft lips over your forehead, attempting to lower his face to place a chaste, goodbye kiss on top of your lips.
little does he realize you didn't actually plan to receive said affection from him as you swiftly flopped your head to the right direction so he'd clumsily hit your ear instead.
"uh-" at first he thought it was him who took an incorrect approach on this, supposedly seizing the right opportunity at the wrong time.
"i'm sorry." he nervously laughs at you while anxiously rubbing his neck, his eyes a bit scrunched together.
you shouldn't be so joyful when he tapped right into your scheme, fell into it head first, more so when he attempted to kiss you right again, this time being slightly embarrassed and irritated that he had messed it up the first time.
because how on earth did he even manage to accomplish that?
and when thoma carried on with his endeavor, you, at full tilt, angled your head to the left side, ensuring that he missed again.
as disoriented as he was at present, he recalled the past few seconds and skimmed through the situation at hand, his undisturbed utterance evolving into a coquettish guise, "really now?"
your chest muscles pitched together when you puffed out a breathless laugh, excessively amused by his bafflement, well, maybe you were a little pain sometimes, but that's what made thoma fall in love with you in the first place.
"my love." he instantaneously speaks up upon catching a glimpse of your triumphant smile bolstering around the corners of your lips, "i need a kiss from you, right now." he made sure to speak the last words exceptionally clear, as to get his point across.
you're welcoming him, eventually twisting your hands around his neck to place a warm kiss on his lips, mumbling out an innocent 'sorry', yet you cannot find the proper tone in your voice to say it, because in reality you weren't sorry in the slightest.
"why do i feel like you aren't actually sorry?"
though bristling with joy, thoma wasn't actually oblivious as well as new to your usual approaches.
the hilarity of it all was heartwarming, or the new perspective of affection shared by you.
before you let him go at last, you gently pulled him to you so your lips would hover on his ear, aiming to set your intentions clear.
whispering, "because i‘m not."
Tumblr media
— xiao
on a tranquilizing evening, your lashes slowly fluttered wide to divulge your eyes to xiao while still remaining enclosed by his arms.
idly, you paid attention to the low thumps of his heart under his ribcage. Your grin was wide from ear to ear, happy at how peaceful it had gotten when you perceived how xiao begun to sluggishly roll himself up.
he tried his utter best to rouse himself from the relaxing atmosphere, to split himself from the slothful— he so referred to it, climate to return to his established routine.
"i have to go now." his golden eyes were all the more compelling under the dim lighting, illuminating their instinctive glowing when he centralized his focus on you. "i will return afterwards."
his breathing nervously hitched, a little, before he decided to add something to his intuitive words, "if you want me to."
delicately, you placed your hand on top of his to calmly ghost your thumb over his knuckles, "of course, i always want you to visit me."
at the realization of your words, xiao's face elated with a rosy shade, a diligent smile creating small wrinkles on his handsome face while his ears tipped a red color.
with another innocent flutter of his eyelashes, he carefully sank back to your frame, aiming to complete his visit with a serene, pacifying kiss.
but, given you were on quite the adventure today, or maybe you had gotten a bit intrigued and interested as to how someone like xiao would react to your almost menacing schemes, you directly dodged his kiss which had him hit your pillow instead.
oblivious to the entire situation you had carefully planted onto him, his face shrunk, "i.. i apologize." yet before you could retort to his words, he insisted in trying it a second time.
his gaze was visibly confused, again when he sought out your left cheek as a substitute, suffering once more when you skillfully dodged it without moving a single muscle.
his reverent, peaceful behavior was threatened by you, as well as your, over the top, innocent stare even after pulling through with your evilness.
"what's the meaning of this?" xiao was commenting on your behavior, his lips were vaguely pursed in a confused way, accentuating the small wrinkles on his forehead. "what do you mean?"
you acknowledged your boyfriend's question but replied in an opposite direction, concealing a bright laugh.
xiao's eyes were a tone lower when he fully sank to you, just about to nearly tower over you.
"you're doing this on purpose." he carefully placed your cheek in his palm before gently ghosting his thumb over your lips, as to try to regain some sort of control over the situation because now, he had you actually figured out.
yet do not get him wrong because contrary to popular believe, xiao found it quite amusing whenever you set forth a somewhat childish, playful behavior like this one in particular.
you weren't a boring human and the small ministrations were usually the highlight of his entire day, like a ray of sunlight peaking from behind the dense, darkened clouds.
"maybe i did." you bluntly chimed back to him, audaciously smiling and cradling his wrist with your hand while leaning into his palm, absorbing his welcoming affability.
"and why is that?" his voice grew calmer and soft, xiao didn't smile often but whenever he did, it's as if the whole world would stand still of a sudden, allowing time to freeze on its entirety.
his senses began to feel the tranquility in your lowered breathing as he suffocated the distance from you, tamely positioning his lips on top of yours, rendering you speechless.
Tumblr media
— scaramouche
fundamentally speaking, when scaramouche appeared to be piqued by an irritating occurrence, it was often for him to find comfort in your company, purifying in your gentle clasp.
"the audacity some people display on a daily basis." he heaves at you, slurring while anger thrummed in his body. "whatever." he clicked his tongue.
quickened, scaramouche rubbed his eyes, tampering through his thoughts when his lids fluttered wide to scamper over your face. "at least this boring day is close to its end." your brightened laugh served as a response to his mumbling, vibrating through his being.
archons, how dearly he had missed you, scaramouche longed to see you each passing hour of the day, to at last, be tightly entangled in your arms again, candidly arriving home.
yet as he was appearing to nervously fidget with your shirt, amplifying that he was in his thoughts, you tilted your head to the side to conveniently survey over his features.
and when he noticed, a rush of excitement tipped its way to his cheeks, tugging at the hem of your shirt.
"i think you haven't kissed me today, kuni." you suddenly speak, complying with his thoughts and sometimes scaramouche asked himself if you actually were proficient in reading his thoughts.
"i haven't?" he's a little coy, scattering his hand over your collarbones before settling on your cheek, blood rushing through your face, "i should change that."
you made sure to give yourself a mental applaud later by how easy you had him laced around your finger with kuni being perfectly set for your so called prank.
he didn't waste much time to get to his promise, eagerly striving to kiss your lips when you swiftly clasped your hand on top of your mouth, leaving him behind— utterly bewildered.
his hands tightly clung into the soft bedsheets next to you, his brows furrowing together in confusion, "seriously?"
with all the galling, tiresome people scaramouche had to deal with today, this surely was the icing on top, not to mention how it came from his own significant other.
he slowly pulled away to see you laugh frantically, trying to figure out how to explain this to him, "so this is funny to you?" he takes a moment to summarize before at once, targeting your belly to tickle and pinch the flesh.
you squealed out in surprise, "ah— no please!" unexpectedly you began to beg, evoking whiny screams from your throat, which were now thoroughly in vein, your once innocent scheme twisting into his grasp when scaramouche continued to tickle and pinch you, "now, now."
he's lowering his face to you, smiling when he perceived your warm cheeks and amusing expression, his voice tinted with something akin to hilarity and glee, "how disgraceful of you to fool me like this."
"you're one to talk." you immediately bite back, your hands lifting up to his face to playfully squeeze his squishy cheeks in your palms, "i was trying to see how you'd react."
you disclosed your real intention behind your show, innocently pouting as to convince him to stop the abuse on your belly.
"i think i deserve more than that." scaramouche proceeded to ghost his hand over your stomach, sinking closer to your frame to try again, with you this time knowing well to suffocate any tricks in the near future.
you're greeting him with an affectionate kiss, melting into him while soliciting the warm hearted love you held towards each other.
"maybe i should punish you like this more often." - "please don't."

“Is that a kid?” - Sick
Katie woke to someone tugging on her arm and completely woke up when she saw you leaning against the bed.
"What's wrong sweetheart?" Katie spoke quietly as she saw your tears, getting out of bed to pick you up.
"Shit" Katie mumbled feeling your hot skin as you placed you head into the crock of her neck.
"Let's go find something to make you feel better, sweetheart" Katie whispered, sparing a quick glance to make sure Caitlin was still asleep as she carried you out of the room and towards the kitchen, setting you on the counter.
You whined when Katie stepped away, "I'm just getting you some water" she said as she filled a sippy cup up with water for you. Handing it to you as you took a couple of slows sips at Katie encouragements.
"What are you guys doing up?" Caitlin asked with a yawn as she walked into kitchen, instantly feeling worried as she saw your red and tear stain cheeks.
"Do we have children medicine?" Katie asked looking over Caitlin.
"We should. Katrina had us buy the whole store saying we would need it at some point" Caitlin said as walked over to you, kissing your forehead gently as you now cuddled into her as Katie pulled out the medicine.
"Have you taken her temperature?" Caitlin asked as Katie handed her the thermometer.
"Hey darling, feeling yucky?" Caitlin asked causing you to nod into her chest.
"Is it your tummy?" She continued as you slowly shook you head no
"Can you point it out?" Caitlin tried, hoping to figure out what doesn't feel well to give you the right medicine.
You slowly pulled back, pointing to your head and throat.
"Can you let me take your temperature? Then we can get you something to help make you feel better" as you allowed her to put the thermometer in your mouth.
"39.3" Caitlin said, sharing a worried look with Katie who bite her lip debating if they should take you to the emergency room.
"Medicine and warm bath. Then we will check her temperature in a few hours" Katie said walking over with medicine to give you.
"Here, drink up. It will taste like grapes. Isn't that yummy?" Katie said holding medicine out to you as you looked back hesitant before taking it. Instantly pulling a disgusted face as you looked at the older women who were hiding their smiles at your face.
"See, not so bad" Katie said.
"Let go get you in the bath" Caitlin said picking up and heading to the bathroom.
Katie quickly turned on the water and helped Caitlin undress you as you gripped on to both of them shaking your head no.
You shook you head no again as more tears fell, gripping Caitlin harder.
"Sweetheart, I promise it will make you feel better" Katie tried as she looked at Caitlin who looked just as helpless as you gripped her shirt tightly in your little hands.
"I've got an idea" Katie said taking you from Caitlin arms as she looked at her confused, you quickly gripping Katie's shirt in hopes not being put into the bathtub.
"Getting in with her" Katie stated as held your crying body in her arms and slowly sat down in the water with you. You slowly calming down and relaxing against Katie who was smiling up at Caitlin who looked relived to see you not crying.
"See, this isn't to bad" Katie said after a few minutes as you were fighting to keep your eyes open
"Looks like she is falling asleep" Caitlin said fondly as she grabbed a towel for you and Katie
"I've got her" Caitlin said wrapping you in a towel as Katie held you up. You instantly cuddling into Caitlin as she walked you into your room and set you on your bed
"Let get you changed, darling" Caitlin said grabbing on of your shirts, only for you to tug on her shirt
"What's wrong?" Caitlin asked as you refused to put on your shirt, looking close to tears again
You whined pitifully as you tugged on her shirt again, "okay, you can have my shirt" Caitlin said as she took off her shirt and put it on you. Leaving a kiss to your forehead before your leaning back into her, wrapping your arms around her neck
"Let's go lay down" Caitlin said picking you up and carrying you back to her and Katie's bed, seeing Katie already changed.
Caitlin gently laid you on Kate's chest as she went to find a new shirt.
"We've got you" Katie said kiss your head as you lad on her chest, as she gently ran her hand through your hair. You instantly gripping a piece of Caitlin new shirt as she laid next you
"I'm right here" Caitlin said gently holding your hand that held her new shirt. Both women watching as your eyes closed and your breathing evened out
"Looks like someone is clingy when their sick" Katie whispered.
"Just like someone else I know" Caitlin whispered with a smirk as she leant over and placed a kiss on Katie lips who only smiled back.

The smell of incense wafted through the pod, mingling with the pungent scent of medicinal paste and herbs. The room was dimly lit, filled with a hushed tension that seemed to permeate the air. Tucked in the far corner of the room, you were busy patching Lo'ak up, applying a cool creamy paste onto his battered body.
As you began to soothe a bruise on his arm, Neteyam stormed into the room, frustration evident on his face. His steps pounded against the woven floors, sending a trickle of fear up your spine.
"What were you thinking Lo'ak? Meeting up with that killer tulkun, again!" He hisses, roughly pushing at his younger brother's head. "Why do you have to make things so difficult?"
"Neteyam," you soothed, moving to stand before him, "Your brother is actually seriously injured. Can we please have this conversation another time?"
"My brother wouldn't be injured if he didn't go past the reefs again. My brother wouldn't be injured if you didn't help him sneak out," Neteyam seethed, towering over you as his golden eyes burned with a blend of anger and disappointment.
Under his intense gaze, you curled into yourself, ears pinning back. You knew what you did was wrong, but you had never seen Lo'ak connect so deeply with someone before.
"Payakan is Lo'ak's spirit brother," you hushed softly, arms and tail wrapping around yourself as you tried to explain yourself to Neteyam, "Outcast or not…They are spirit brothers, Neteyam."
Neteyam clicked his tongue and threw his head back in frustration. Your name then escaped his lips, laced with cold disdain, "I would have expected this from him, but I never imagined you would actively go out of your way to assist him. You were trained to be Tsahìk, and I trusted you to act responsibly."
He took a moment to breathe, his pause magnifying the weight of the situation. "I couldn't be more wrong."
The walls of the room seemed to close in, suffocating you, as his words pierced your heart. Shame washed over you, causing your body to tremble as you grappled with your emotions.
"Neteyam, I…" you tried to speak up once more, but your mouth ran dry, throat shutting close.
"I…I'm sorry, sir," you force out, voice quivering.
Lo'ak's gaze intensifies, and a surge of protective rage surges through him. He swiftly moves to your defense, shoving Neteyam away, a low hiss rumbling from his chest. "Y/N did what she thought was right. We're all responsible for our own actions. Don't you dare lay this shit on her for something I did."
Neteyam's lips were pulled back into a snarl as he pushed Lo'ak back, his voice laced with bitter sarcasm. "Responsible for our own actions? That's rich coming from you considering how much you just love to start shit."
Lo'ak growled before he moved to grapple Neteyam, forcefully pinning the older boy against the pod's walls. The impact caused the wall to shake, knocking a few bottles of herbs from the shelves, which tumbled and clattered onto the woven floors.
"Lo'ak—!" you gasped out seeing the boy draw his hand back, knocking his fist into Neteyam's face.
Neteyam staggered backward, colliding with the wall, as the force of the blow resounded with a heavy thunk. Momentarily dazed, he blinked and glanced up at Lo'ak, his hand instinctively reaching to his throbbing jaw.
“You skxáwng,” he growls.
"Yep. That’s me," Lo'ak quipped, his grin transforming into a menacing sneer. "Your disappointment of a brother. The fucking outcast of the family here."
Neteyam scoffs, wrenching himself off the wall, stomping forward until he was in front of Lo'ak. "What was the one thing dad asked for? Not to cause any trouble, right?" Neteyam huffs. "I'm just looking out for you! We are brothers, Lo'ak. Sully's stick together"
Lo'ak bares his teeth then, a growl ripping from his throat.
"You are not my brother."
Before you could process it, Neteyam's knuckles, flesh and bone, connected hard with Lo'ak's nose. The sound of the impact echoed through the pod, a sharp crack that filled the air. Your eyes widened as you watched Lo'ak reel backward, his body colliding forcefully with a wooden pane. The sudden eruption of violence from the normally composed Neteyam shattered the silence that had settled in the pod.
Lo'ak's snarl shifted into a pained grimace as he clutched his nose, blood streaming between his fingers. The pod fell into an eerie stillness, the air heavy with tension.
You stepped forward, a mix of fear and concern driving you. "Stop! This won't solve anything," you implored, reaching out to Lo'ak with a gentle touch.
Neteyam watched as you fretted over his younger brother, a burning mix of guilt and resentment bubbling up in his gut.
Lo'ak stared up at Neteyam, his anger wavering, replaced by a mixture of hurt and disbelief. His eyes searched desperately for a hint of remorse, a glimmer of understanding. But the older boy just stood there, his jaw clenched.
Shaking his head in frustration, Neteyam turned towards the chamber's entrance. His gaze lingered on Lo'ak, expression hardened with resolve.
"No flying or diving for a month," he declared, his voice carrying a note of finality.
With that, he strode out of the room, leaving behind a tense silence.
Lo'ak clicked his tongue before turning to you, concern etched on his face. He sent a cautious look your way, his voice filled with compassion. "You alright? That was rough back there. His words, I mean."
You mustered a watery smile, trying to brush off the events that just transpired.
"You're the one injured here, I should be asking you that. Plus, I'm used to it," you replied, your voice tinged with the slightest hint of amusement. Lo'ak attempted to speak up once more, but you swiftly redirected the conversation, your hands already reaching for the healing paste.
"Come, let's fix you up."
Tumblr media
The recent days had become a harrowing blur, with a sense of impending doom hanging heavily in the air. Throughout the village, warriors hastily armed themselves, and healers busied themselves with gathering herbs, all while a dark storm loomed ominously above.
It was undeniable—the sky demons had returned.
In the midst of the mounting turmoil, you found yourself travelling through the waters with your friends, following Lo'ak after he abruptly plunged into the depths of the ocean, navigating past the reefs with his ilu.
The salty air clung to your senses as you leaned forward, desperation lacing your voice.
"Lo'ak! Where are you going?!" you cried out, tightly grasping Neteyam's waist as you both pursued him on the back of an ilu.
Lo'ak remained eerily silent, his focus fixated on the abyssal strength of the wavves before him. With an alarming agility, Lo'ak dove down, the sleek figure of his ilu slicing through the water with ease. Gripped by fear and worry, you turned to your beloved, seeking solace and answers.
"Nete—" you began, but your words were swallowed by Neteyam's grim interruption.
"He's going after Payakan," Neteyam replied curtly, his teeth clenched. Gripping your thigh tight, he positioned himself with a firm hold on the ilu's saddle. "Hold on tightly."
With a commanding click, Neteyam directed the ilu to dive down, plunging deeper into the unknown depths.
Then, as you emerged from the depths, you found yourself in the middle of the battle. Crashes of boats and metal birds floating all about you.
As you surveyed the battlefieds, you froze, heart sinking at the sight of Lo'ak perched atop a familiar tulkun, desperately attempting to remove the tracking device cruelly embedded in Payakan's flesh.
Without a second thought, you propelled yourself forward, driven by a surge of adrenaline, disregarding Neteyam's frantic shouts as you rushed to aid Lo'ak in freeing his spirit brother.
The others, recognizing the gravity of the situation, quickly rallied to your aid. Hands reached out, working in unison, as you all grappled with the device, pulling, tugging, and knocking against it in a desperate attempt to break its grip.
"Pull!"
Each moment felt like an eternity but with a final surge of combined effort, the tracking device relinquished its hold, tearing free from the tulkun's skin. A collective breath escaped your lips, mingling with the creature's relieved exhalation.
However, any semblance of relief quickly dissipated when Jake's voice pierced through Neteyam's communication device.
"Boy? Are you there?" Jake's voice quivered with anxiety, instantly sending a shiver of panic down your spine. The sinking feeling in the pit of your stomach intensified as you strained to listen to every word exchanged.
Neteyam swallowed, his throat constricting, before he mustered the courage to respond, "Yeah. I'm here, sir. What's wrong?"
The tense silence hung heavy in the air as you all held your breath, anticipating Jake's next words.
"Is your mate there?" Jake's voice crackled with urgency, the weight of his inquiry sinking into your bones, evoking a gnawing sense of apprehension.
Neteyam hesitated, his eyes briefly meeting yours, before he replied, his voice tinged with unease, "Yes. Yes, she is here—"
Before he could finish, Jake interrupted, his tone laden with concern, "There's been a report that a female na'vi was spotted on the docks of the boat. Are your sisters there?"
The weight of those words hit you like a thunderbolt.
"Shit," you cursed under your breath, running a hand through your braids.
"No, sir. Both Tuk and Kiri are not here," Neteyam replied, his voice laden with dismay.
Jake's voice crackled through the communication device once again, the urgency palpable in his words. "Stay vigilant, Neteyam. We can't afford any risks."
Neteyam nodded, his expression grim and resolute. "Understood, sir. We'll stay on high alert."
As the connection ended, Neteyam immediately began to issue orders, his voice firm and commanding.
"Ao'nung, take Roxto and Tsireya away from here. The open waters are too dangerous. We'll regroup by the rock outcrops," Neteyam directed, his tone brooking no argument.
The metkaniyan nodded, a stony frown etched on his face as he hurriedly ushered his sister and friend away from the immediate vicinity, their ilus awaiting them nearby. Neteyam watched them depart, his gaze lingering for a moment, before he turned his attention back to you and Lo'ak.
"That means you two as well."
"No, Neteyam, no," you protested vehemently. The mere thought of leaving him alone in the face of the approaching war was unbearable to you. "I am not leaving you."
Your plea hung in the air, thick with emotion. It made Neteyam take a moment to pause before he reached for you. An arm curled around your waist as he pulled you close, pressing a searing kiss against your lips.
Then, with a heavy sigh, he drew back, his brows furrowed as anguish swam around his sharp eyes. His gaze shifted to Lo'ak, a silent understanding passing between them. Neteyam's voice was strained but resolute as he addressed his brother, "Go. Now."
The weight of his decision lingered in the air, and you pleaded desperately, your voice wavering, "Neteyam…"
But his mind was made up. Casting one final, heart-wrenching look back at you, he rushed away, vanishing into the crashing waves.
Frantically, you turned to Lo'ak, and it only took one look for you to know that he shared your thoughts.
"We're going after him," he declared, his voice echoing your own desire.
Without wasting another moment, you set off, running towards the crashing waves, adrenaline surging through your veins.
The open waters beckoned, their depths mocking with unseen perils, but you refused to be deterred. The clicks of your ilu's came close and you both made haste, clambering atop the creatures as you dived towards the boat.
By the time you had arrived, half of the vessel was already submerged in the water, and you and Lo'ak quickly scaled its metallic walls, scrambling across the deck.
As you scanned the surroundings, your gaze locked onto three familiar figures at the edge. Kiri is the first to meet your eye and she starts shouting for you to take cover.
The echoes of gunshots reverberated through the air, jolting you into immediate action. You and Lo'ak swiftly slid down towards the figures, engaging in a fierce struggle as you pushed aside soldiers in your path.
Lo'ak managed to snatch a gun along the way, arming himself for the impending confrontation.
"Y/N!" Tuk called out for you as you ran to their position.
Reacting swiftly, you scooped the young girl into your protective embrace, shielding her from the bloodshed unfolding around you. Meanwhile, Lo'ak urgently guided Kiri to safety behind a nearby wall, ensuring she was out of harm's way and sheltered from the relentless barrage of bullets.
In the midst of the pandemonium, Neteyam retrieved the gun from Lo'ak, his movements experienced. He positioned himself around the corner, using it as cover, and unleashed a volley of return fire at your assailants.
"Y/N! Move them out!" Neteyam's cry echoes through the chaos, his voice strained as a bullet narrowly misses his skull.
"Yes, sir!" Reacting swiftly, your instincts kick in without hesitation. Grasping Tuk's hand tightly, you forcefully propel her forward alongside Lo'ak and Kiri, sprinting towards safety.
A sudden prickling sensation on the back of your neck momentarily distracts you, but the rush of adrenaline surging through your veins pushes it aside.
Neteyam, ever vigilant, stays close behind, providing cover fire to protect you all as you navigate through the perilous terrain. With every beat of your heart echoing in your chest, you reach the edge and, without pausing to think, leap over the railing, plunging into the water below.
As the shock of hitting the water subsides, you gasp for air, determined to stay afloat. Despite the biting cold and the sharp tremors running through your body, you maintain a firm grip on Tuk's hand, ensuring she resurfaces beside you.
That was when you realized something was wrong.
The hollers and war-cries of your friends echo in the distance but all you could focus on was the searing hot pain burning up on your neck. The wild waves toss and rock your aching body, carrying you further away from the safety of the group.
"Y/N? Are you alright?" Tuk questioned, immediately taking notice of how pale your face had gotten. The girl paddled closer to you, a shrill scream ripping out of her throat once she saw the murky red waters around you.
The others reacted with alarm, rushing over to you. Choking and gasping for air, you felt your head sink beneath the waves, saltwater filling your lungs.
Fortunately, before you could drown, a pair of strong arms encircled your middle, pulling you up from the depths. As you were turned around, you found yourself face to face with Neteyam, his expression panicked while his mouth opened and closed, searching for the right words as he took in your pale face.
"Syulang—" he began, his voice choked with urgency.
"Bro! What are you waiting for? Get her on!" Lo'ak's voice interrupted, snapping Neteyam out of his trance. His gaze shifted to Lo'ak and Kiri as they guided an ilu towards you. He hastily moved to lift you atop the saddles, before clambering up to sit behind you. After making tsahelyu, he instructed the creature to move, making sure to swim above the waters due to your injury.
Heaving, you felt blood seep from your mouth as you curled onto Neteyam's chest. His normally steady heartbeat was frantic, a panicked endless thrum that seemed to almost blend into one. His lips were pressed tight against your temple as his fervent prayers seeped against your burning skin.
"Stray strong. I need you to stay strong," Neteyam's voiced hushed.
In the distance, he spotted a rocky outcrop where his parents stood, urgently waving them over. Lo'ak followed closely behind, his voice trembling as he called out to them. "Dad! Mom! It's Y/N!"
Working together, both Lo'ak and Neteyam carefully lifted your body onto the rocky stump, surrounded by Neteyam's family. Your breaths now came in short, labored heaves, your chest rising and falling rapidly as it struggled to draw in enough oxygen.
Jake stepped forward, his hands pressing against your shoulders as he gently rolled you over to examine your wound. A sinking dread settled in his chest as he saw the gaping exit wound at the base of your nape.
Neteyam stood by his father's side, his hands trembling with panic. "Sir? What's wrong?"
"Pressure. Put pressure," Jake's voice came out monotonous which sent a strike of fear through Neteyam. Immediately, the boy did as told, his large hands pressing onto your frail neck. Your eyes darted frantically across the faces gathered around you, wild and unfocused, until they finally settled shakily on Neteyam.
"Sir, I—" you gasped, more blood slipping from your lips as you inadvertently bit down on your tongue in pain. Neteyam quickly hushed you, his frown deepening at the militaristic term you had used. "Sir, I'm sor—"
Then, the pain began to dull and a sense of impending finality washed over you. Heaving, you allowed yourself to lower your façade of strength and embrace your vulnerability in what could be your last moments. With a trembling hand, you reached up and pressed it against Neteyam's cheek, tears welling in your eyes as you took in the sharp features of his face.
"I'm scared," you winced, feeling small and lost, like a frightened child. "Ma'Neteyam… I am so scared."
Grief and anguish filled Neteyam's expression as he reached for your hand, pressing his lips gently upon it.
"I know, syulang. I know. I'm sorry," he murmured, a pool of guilt building up in his stomach as he recalled his last conversation with you and Lo'ak. "You'll be alright, okay? You have a strong heart."
As he looked into your wide, fearful eyes, Neteyam felt a surge of emotions wash over him, carrying him back to the vivid memories of your childhood.
The scenes played out in his mind like a reel of nostalgia, as if he were standing once again among the towering, thick trees of Omaticaya. He could almost hear the laughter that had filled the air as you both explored the wonders of the forest together, the exhilaration of climbing the sturdy branches, and the shared secrets whispered under the shelter of rocky caves.
Tumblr media
"Neteyam… I'm scared," you whimpered, your heart throbbing in your chest as you felt the coarse texture of the sturdy tree trunk pressing against your back.
Both of you were out playing in the forests and had lost track of time. It was way past eclipse now.
The dense forest was sprawled out before you, engulfing everything before you in an ominous shroud. The fading light of the setting sun cast elongated, eerie shadows that danced amidst the towering trees.
A young Neteyam stood in front of you, his hands gently cupping your tear-streaked cheeks, tenderly wiping away the droplets. Then, the warrior boy radiated a warm smile at you. "I'll keep you safe, syulang."
The air resonated with unsettling growls and haunting howls. Amidst the gloom, pairs of luminous eyes glimmered from hidden crevices behind the trees, concealed beasts lying in wait. Though fear still lingered within you, you summoned the courage to step into his awaiting embrace, seeking solace and security in his arms.
"Do you promise?" you asked, your voice barely above a whisper.
"I promise."
Tumblr media
"I'll keep you safe, syulang," Neteyam hushed, his voice filled with desperation, as he leaned in to press a kiss against your cracked and bloodied lips. The taste of iron flooded his mouth, but the concern for your well-being eclipsed any discomfort he felt.
Drawing closer, his forehead gently touched yours, causing his tears to mingle with yours as they cascaded onto your cheek. "I promise."
Neteyam's trembling fingers delicately brushed against your neck, seeking the faint and weakening pulse that throbbed beneath your clammy skin. Your breathing, labored and high-pitched, struggled to utter his name, "Neteyam—"
"Nete...I," Then, in an agonizing moment, your eyes dulled, your body going limp as you gasped out your last breath. Neteyam froze, his heart pounding in his chest as he withdrew from you, his movements graceless. "Syulang?"
"Neteyam… I," Lo'ak croaked out, his voice laden with guilt as he moved closer, attempting to offer comfort to his brother. "I'm sorr—"
His well-intentioned gesture was abruptly met with a forceful push, as Neteyam's frantic state escalated. Disregarding the presence of the others, he gathered your lifeless body into his trembling arms, holding you close as he began to hyperventilate. "No, no, no, no—"
Lo'ak stood motionless, his gaze fixed upon the devastating scene unfolding before him. Blood stained the younger brother's hands, a haunting reminder of his involvement, the guilt and remorse etched deep within him. Kiri pressed herself against his side, offering what little solace she could.
Tears streamed down Neteyam's face in an unrelenting wave as he shook vehemently, his grip on your lifeless form tight. Every breath he managed to take came in ragged gasps, his chest heaving with profound anguish as his quivering lips whispered a fervent prayer to Eywa.
"Great Mother, I beg of you, please don't take her away from me. It's not her time. Please, I can't bear to lose her," the words tore from his throat, strained and desperate, a raw and hoarse plea echoing through the air.
But the silence that followed was deafening, and the universe remained indifferent to his anguished pleas. Fate had dealt her cruel hand and there was no reversing what has happened. A despondent hush settled upon Neteyam as he cradled your cold body, his fingers trembling as he traced the contours of your face, desperately clinging to your fading warmth.
Tumblr media
'All energy is only borrowed, and one day you have to give it back.'
These were the words that had been etched into Neteyam's consciousness since his earliest memories, told to him when he was a mere babe. Through the years, those words had taken root in his heart, their significance growing with each passing day. They held a bittersweet reminder of the transient nature of a Na'vi's existence, an understanding that all things, no matter how great or powerful, would eventually fade away.
And now, as he stood amidst the darkest hour of his life, pushing a leaf which cradled your lifeless body along the gentle waves, the weight of his mother's words pressed upon him with a poignant intensity. They whispered to him the solemn truth of loss, the inevitable fate that even the brightest and most vibrant blooms would eventually wither away.
Far off by the shores, the Metkayina clan were gathered together to honor your death. Soft songs were sun by artisans in the distance while warriors surrounded the waters, ready to assist your grieving mate in anyway.
The ebb and flow of the waves embraced your body, as Neteyam delicately allowed you to be immersed in the water. Neytiri and Jake moved to swim towards him, their concern evident in their eyes, but he shook his head, a silent request for solitude as he embarked on the final journey with you alone.
Silently nodding, they swam away and watched from a distance, their hearts heavy with grief for their son as Neteyam held you close, whispering words of love onto your cold lips.
Taking you into his arms once more, Neteyam took a deep breath, and with a graceful dive, immersed himself into the depths of the ocean.
In this underwater sanctuary, time seemed to stand still as he held his breath, allowing the weight of his emotions to wash over him. The silence enveloped him, broken only by the gentle lullaby of the underwater currents. His tears, blending seamlessly with the surrounding currents, were carried away into the vast expanse of the sea.
With a heavy heart, Neteyam loosened his grip, letting you go and releasing you into the gentle caress of the water. As your curled up form sank slowly towards the ocean bed, soft hues of blue and green cradled you in their hold, painting the scene with a poignant melancholy, as if the ocean itself mourned your passing.
A soft glow of bioluminescent algae adorned the waters, casting a mesmerizing luminescence upon the solemn setting. Each flickering glow, like a delicate farewell kiss.
Neteyam watched on as the golden tendrils engulfed you in its shimmering embrace. Then, finally, glowing like a chorus of tiny stars, the algae weaved their radiant tendrils around you, a final act of nature as Eywa took you in.
Ngaru irayo seiyi ayo,
Srrìri tìreyä,
Ma Eywa, ma Eywa.
Tumblr media
Neteyam swam before the tree of ancestors, his heart heavy with a mix of anticipation and sorrow. His hands grasped onto his queue tightly, feeling the sacred bond beneath his battle-hardened palms. Just beside him, Tsireya floated along the deep waves with a heaviness in her gaze, her eyes downcast as she shakily signed to him, her hands trembling with emotion, 'Are you ready?'
Both of them had embarked on this solemn journey together, a quest to connect with the Metkaniyan spirit tree, seeking solace from your spirit and Eywa herself.
Neteyam had requested Tsireya's presence, knowing the sisterly bond that had blossomed between the two of you over the months. He understood that she, too, carried the weight of grief for your loss.
He nodded, a bit more frantic than he'd like. Tsireya smiled at his eagerness, her eyes shimmering with shared anticipation, her hands signing once more, 'Is there a specific memory you'd like to see?'
Neteyam paused, his mind drifting through the vast ocean of memories that he held of you, each one precious and poignant.
A minute passes, and finally, with a gentle nod, he signed his answer.
Tumblr media
Neteyam found himself standing amidst the lush foliage of the Hometree, bathed in the soft glow of the sun. The vibrant colors of the forest danced around him, creating a tranquil backdrop for his restless heart. With each purposeful step, he moved stealthily through the forest. And then, his eyes locked onto a familiar sight—a burrowed cave where you often retreated to immerse yourself in craftwork.
His heart quickened with anticipation as he approached, his hand reaching for the necklace that hung around his neck, feeling the smooth beads under his fingertips. Then, in a single, fluid motion, he unclasped it and dropped it to the ground.
The remnants of this memory came rushing back, the echoes of your shared past resurfacing with vivid clarity. As he drew nearer, your teenage form seemed to flicker and shift, transforming before his eyes into your adult self. The passage of time etched upon your face, mirroring the weight and wisdom you accumulated over the years.
Time seemed to stand still as your gazes locked, a magnetic force pulling Neteyam closer to you. Emotions swelled within him, a blend of joy, sorrow, and a deep yearning to bridge the gap that separated you both.
"Hey," he smiled tearfully, his voice filled with a mixture of tenderness and vulnerability, "What are you doing, syulang?"
Your face lit up, a radiant smile gracing your lips as you gestured for him to come closer.
"I just finished weaving something. It's for you," you exclaimed, your excitement palpable. "Come, let me put it on."
Neteyam eagerly obeyed, lowering himself before you, allowing you to clasp the necklace around his neck.
"My mighty warrior, it suits you," you remarked, your voice filled with warmth as you beheld the necklace settled atop his chest.
Neteyam huffed out a bittersweet laugh as tears streamed down his cheeks. "It does."
Concern then etched across your face.
"Ma'Teyam," you murmured softly, your touch soothing as you gently ran your hands through his braids. Neteyam's tears continued to flow, an outpouring of emotions that spoke volumes of his love and longing. You furrowed your brows, tilting your head to the side.
"Why do you cry, Nete?"
"I'm just…" Neteyam took a moment to steady his breath, his voice a tender reflection of his inner turmoil. A mixture of joy and sorrow lingered in his words. "I'm happy to see you."
Your laughter, a melodic and breathless symphony, filled the forest with its warmth. It wrapped around Neteyam's heart, offering a fleeting respite from the weight of your loss.
"Oh," you replied, your voice tinged with affection, "I am happy to see you too, Nete."
Tumblr media
Tsireya stood from afar, allowing Neteyam to meet you in spirit alone. She watched over him as his form drifted, a gentle smile gracing her lips.
Her heart then swelled with warmth as she witnessed his lips curve into a genuine grin, seeing his once stern expression melt away into a state of serene contentment.

one where katie is rlly clingy cuz she's sick
Tumblr media
stuck to you II k.mccabe
you knew something was off the moment katies feet hit the floor with a dull thud at six in the morning. your eyes shot awake and you sat bolt upright as your girlfriend collapsed to her knees and started retching in the ensuite.
flinging off the covers you hurried to her grabbing her hair and pulling it out of her face, rubbing her back as she emptied the contents of her stomach into the toilet bowl.
"oh babe." you sighed sympathetically as she slumped against the wall wiping her mouth with the back of her hand. "you're really pale and burning up." you frowned, checking her temperature as her forehead pulsated with heat and her brow was matted with sweat.
two more times she threw up before seeming to settle, an empathetic wince on your face as her head moved to rest against your leg. "you feel up to a shower baby?" you asked gently, running a hand through her hair as she nodded.
"yeah i feel disgustin." the girl rasped out and your heart ached at the obvious strain on her voice where her throat was straining. "gimme the toothbrush first please." katie requested quietly as you did as she asked, helping her up and toward the sink once she was done.
rinsing her mouth out again thoroughly you placed a kiss to her flushed cheek and moved to run the shower. once the water was the right temperature you helped her undress as her body slumped against you, taking her hand and helping her into the shower.
quickly stripping off your own clothes you joined her, her body wrapping around yours as the water rained down on the two of you. turning her gently you helped her to wash her hair, assuring it would make her feel better.
placing feather light kisses to the back of her neck you massaged the shampoo into her hair as her taller frame leaned into you slightly, eyes closed.
rinsing off the last of the conditioner and softly kissing her shoulder you helped her out of the shower, wrapping her in a towel and gently tugging her back into the bedroom.
"hoodie or shirt?" you sat her down on the corner of the bed and moved her damp hair gently out of her face. "shirt, yours." katie mumbled out as you nodded. "i'll be two seconds baby, promise." you assured as she moved to grab you with a frown as you tried to move away.
katie letting go of your arm you quickly dressed yourself and grabbed some shorts and a shirt for her, helping her into them. not wanting her to lay back down with wet hair you gently dried it a little more with a towel, your girlfriends head resting against your stomach as she hugged you while you did.
"okay love, back to bed for a little for you." you smiled down at her softly as she nodded, letting go of you and shuffling up the bed, tucking herself under the covers and making grabby hands at you.
slipping in beside her you tangled your hands in her hair, nails gently scratching at her scalp as katies face pressed into your neck. her body heat overwhelming you kicked off your side off the blankets a little to have some respite.
your girlfriend falling right back to sleep you weren't long to follow suit, though not even an hour later you awoke to katie doubled over coughing. you sat up and rubbed her back as she wheezed and choked slightly, a bottle of water thrust into her hand from your sidetable.
a light squeeze to your knee was a silent thanks as katie quickly took a large mouthful of water. "no!" she managed to get out, grabbing the back of your top as you tried to leave the bed.
"baby i have to go get you some cough medicine, i'll be right downstairs. please stay here and try to rest, i'll be fast." you promised, the irish footballer shaking her head firmly and pulling you back into bed.
"katie, my love. you are so good at taking care of me when i'm sick, please let me return the favour." you pleaded, hands cupping her flushed cheeks as she hummed and let you go, a scowl on her face as she nodded none the less.
"ten minutes then i'm comin down after ya." the older girl warned flopping back into bed, voice cracking adorably as you chuckled. "deal." you agreed, pushing her hair out of her face and tenderly kissing her forehead.
it was just after eight in the morning as you sent leah a message that katie was unwell and wouldn't be at training, having met your girlfriend through the blonde english captain who you'd known since primary school.
leah sent her well wishes and advised if either of you needed anything to reach out, before jokingly wishing you luck as you rolled your eyes at the message.
for katie to be this ill you knew to take it seriously, the girl could break her ankle and still refuse to show a sign of weakness, one of the most stubbornly passionate human beings you ever met and you loved her dearly for it even if at times it was incredibly frustrating.
you swore quietly to yourself realising you were running low on quite literally everything you'd be needing to look after your patient, grabbing a fresh bottle of water and returning upstairs.
"get in here and cuddle me." katie croaked out, bundled up in the covers as her head peeked out over the top. "i promise i will, but-" katie let out a small groan and a cough at the last word as you sat on the edge of the bed.
"i have to go to the chemist and the store baby we've got no tissues, no cough medicine, soup stuff, tea-" you listed off what you needed as your girlfriend groaned again, shuffling across the bed and resting her head in your lap.
"don't need none of that darlin, just you." katie rasped out with a sigh as you smiled and ran a hand through her hair. "thats very sweet but unfortunately you need a little more than me if you wanna get better." you advised as the brunette shook her head.
"no." "yes." "no." "yes." "no. stop makin me speak my throat hurts!" katie huffed, looking up with a frown as you chuckled.
"then stop arguing with me." you warned softly, words mumbled against her warm skin as you kissed her temple. "baby i need to change and go to the-" you tried to stand only to be pulled back into bed, and even not at full strength katie easily outmaneuvered you.
"katie." you sighed, hint of a smile at your lips at her clingy behavior, her toned arms wrapped firmly around your torso. "thats baby to you." the girl retorted, words muffled as her face pressed into your chest, her hair tickling at your nose.
"do you want to be match fit for sunday? because we can stay wrapped up in bed all week but you won't get any better and i'll keep texting leah saying you can't train and-" a hand settled over your mouth cutting you off mid sentence.
"i don't like when you make sense." she huffed, arm settling back by her side. "i know. you just date me for my good looks and witty banter, certainly not my brain." you teased as she pinched you for the quip.
"baby!" katie whined tiredly as you wrenched her arms off and quickly rolled out of bed as she snatched at thin air. you ignored her needy huffs and moved into the bathroom, grabbing some clothes on the way.
by the time you'd changed and returned to the room you frowned not seeing your girlfriend in bed where you left her. you jumped as suddenly she stepped out of your shared closet, changed into fresh clothes.
"i'm comin with ya." katie grumbled tiredly, latching onto you tightly. deciding it wasn't worth the argument you gave in, rubbing her back and kissing her cheek. "fine. but you're staying in the car!" you warned, a firm look shutting down her protests as she nodded.
"babe i need to drive." you chuckled as katie continued to tug your hand into her lap. "drive one handed." your girlfriend mumbled, head thumping against the glass of the window which fogged up as she exhaled with a slight wheeze.
you threw her a concerned frown and subconsciously stepped down a little harder on the accelerator.
"i will be twenty minutes, tops. take a nap love you look shattered!" you requested, smiling as the brunette nodded tiredly, eyes fluttering closed as she finally let go of your hand.
you made it back in just under fifteen, the sound of your door opening waking katie who blinked sleepily but perked up as you slid into the car.
"that felt like hours." your girlfriend huffed, body slumping sideways into yours as you smiled, reaching over her to drop the bag of supplies by her feet. "you're so clingy when you're sick baby, its quite endearing." you chuckled, katie smacking your leg half heatedly and mumbling something inaudible.
gently pushing her off of you she slumped back into her seat, immediately reaching over to interlace her fingers with yours and pulling your hand into her lap.
arriving home you, with some argument from the brunette, had katie lay down on the sofa as you busied yourself making her a lemon and honey tea. again with some argument you had her sip on it, fighting out of her grip to return to the kitchen.
you had just started preparing the soup when katie grew even more restless, refusing to lay down and instead sticking herself to you like a second skin.
with her chin resting on your shoulder and arms looped around your stomach she clung tightly to you, mumbling into your neck every few minutes how you needed to hurry up.
"okay! yes i'm done now." you chuckled as she whined into your shoulder for the ten thousandth time, dishing the two of you up a bowl of soup.
again you made your girlfriend take a seat, gently pushing her off and promising with a quick kiss that if she could stomach a few mouthfuls the rest of the afternoon you were all hers.
getting through half the bowl katie tapped out with a grimace as you placed a gentle kiss to her cheek and nipped off to the kitchen, rinsing the bowls and smiling at the impatient huffs and groans coming from the living room.
forcing her to take some cough medicine, bribing her again with a few soft kisses.
finally you settled into katies usual spot on the corner of your l shaped sofa the footballer wasted no time rolling her body to rest between your legs, a cool towel on her forehead and your top balled firmly in your fists.
your clingy girl.

The rain droplets over the roof. A storm was occurring; you sat beside Muzan in his sickly form. Dipping down a small towel in cold water and putting it on his forehead as you sat near him.
You were his fiancé to be soon married by him, but it couldn't be due to the state of his body. Your eyes couldn't help but produce tears from your eye, dripping down to your lap, as you stared at his miserable form. Feeling a cold hand brushing your cheek, "I hate it when you cry" Muzan muttered, you held his hand to your cheek as you tried to smile, but your lips faltered.
"I-i know," you whispered, looking at him, tears threatening to fall out, as you breathed in. "Just why do they have to be so cruel" your lips trembled, "Just why" you cried.
You took Muzan's hand off your cheek and gently placed it near the sides of his body. You looked at his him again, he was soon passed out, before you looked at the door opening up to one of the doctors assigned to Muzan.
"Good afternoon, Mrs. L/N," he said to you slightly bowing down to you, as you got up dusting off your kimono, you tilted your head at him and walked out of the room. Stepping down on the tatami floor, going outside, as the feeling of the cold dropping rain on your skin, staining your kimono, as you stepped backward underneath the roof.
Sitting down on the leveled floor, you back leaned on the pillar as you stared at the abyss of the sky. Your eyes soon closed as you slipped into slumber.
Before heard a loud thud on the ground, fully waking you as you ran almost tripping on the wet floor, as you quickly opened the door to Muzan's room, looking at him covered in blood standing for what you thought was the first time, his hand holding a butcher knife to the doctor head, that laid there collecting a pool of blood.
"M-muzan, what did you do" you whispered, covering your mouth in horror.
His mouth was still stained with a bright blue pigment on his lips, as he stood his ground without any help or distance at all. His pupil was formed like a cat and the color of crimson.
You stood there in silence before he dashed straight out you covering your mouth, as your eyes only stare at him with fear. You didn't know who he was anymore.
He looked at you straight through the eyes, your heavy breathing, making your heart pump faster. You looked at his nail that grew sharper than any sword you have seen before.
He soon took his hands off your mouth, cupping your cheeks, while tears threatened to slip out of your eyes, as you stared at him. Someone that once your lover, turns into a deranged animal right in front of you. You opened your mouth to say his name but were soon entrapped into a kiss with him.
Your pupils shake, from the sudden intimacy. Before closing your eyes leaning into the kiss.
Before he withdrew from our lips, staring into your own, as you looked at him bewildered by his appearance, "My precious, Y/N" He brushes your cheek, and his fingers brushed your lips.
"I'm no longer someone weak, not anymore" he whispered to you.
"M-muzan....you just murdered someone" You took his hand away from your face, as you backed away from his figure.
"Y/N, he was just a lowly doctor, who could do nothing but to bickered and give me nonsense creations of his medicine" he exclaimed, extending his hand to you.
You backed away more when he took a step away, your body melting with fear. "You're not someone who I used to love, your monster" you screamed out before dashing towards the door, before you could, muzan was right there.
His body leaning towards you, "Y/N, don't be like that" he spat, as he soon got annoyed by how you were acting.
"Get away from me" you lashed out.
You were too slow for a man not to catch up with you with his newfound abilities. He grabbed you, hid nails digging into you, as you winced in pain. "There is nothing to be afraid of," he said, trying to comfort you but you flinched away from his touch.
His eyebrows twitched, as he soon threw you down to the floor, and you yelped in pain.
You crawled away from him before getting pulled, his shadow creeping into yours. He kneels towards you. Before he looked at your figure on the ground as pieces of your kimono were off of your body, exposing your undergarments, "Muzan, please" you cried.
"Be gentle" you said.
His nails cut the thin pieces of fabric off your body, leaving your body bare. His eyes are hungrily staring at your naked body.
"Muzan, please promise me...if we do this, you'll stay with me " you begged, your lips trembling, you clasped his hand with your yours.
"From the beginning and end, my dear" he answered you with a kiss. He gently pried your legs open, his body between yours.
You closed your eyes, feeling his member sinking into your wall. As you registered the pain. You winced. His pace picked up, as he trusted you.
Every time he dragged himself out of you, plunging himself into you, you moaned in pain. Covering your hands to your eyes. His tempo frantic plunging into you, your body jolting from the tempo.
The pain simmering into pleasure, as he slides into you. As he held it down to your waist gripping it, his nail digging into drawing out blood.
"Shit" he groaned, as his animalistic thrust goes into you, pounding right into you. Your arms holding onto him, as he bit your collarbone, littering your body with love bites, the taste of blood going into his senses.
As his animalistic urges grew.
He dragged himself in and out of you repeatedly his pelvis brushed onto your own, and you moaned out. You felt a warm feeling growing in you, as you felt the core snap. A blow of heat washing through your body.
Your juices coating his dick, his thrust going in faster into you. Your breast jolts in the temp, bouncing with him.
The simple pleasure of making you hooked, feeling himself plunging himself into you. The room makes your body feel hot. You cocked your head away, releasing your arm from the grip.
His pace soon slowed down, and as his thrusts gets sloppier. His nail in denying further into your skin. Soon pouring himself into you, coating your walls white.
He groaned, his body leaning forward. Bruising your hip even more. You looked at his form through the tears on your thick lashes.
You're heavily breathing being heard, as you covered your sweating face.
Before he pulled out of your tired figure, you stare at him with sleepy eyes, "You did well, Y/N" he said, brushing the excess hair off of your forehead.

"(y/n)," albedo calls out, moving from his desk to your bedside. it's been a while since you stepped foot in dragonspine, so the effects its weather had on you wasn't surprising. "are you feeling better?" he asks, to which you reply with a painful cough.
albedo sighs worriedly, bringing his hand to your forehead to assess your body temperature. "i can't let you stay at my tent, your temperature won't go down here," he says, thinking of ways to bring you back to mondstadt. you're wrapped up in his coat, shivering from the cold.
"bedo, i'm fine," you say weakly to reassure him. "we can walk down dragonspine, i just need to wear more layers." you sit up from the bed, but then your spliting headache makes you wince. "ow..." you complain, and albedo is quick to wrap his arms around you.
"my love, i'll ask for knights to pick you up from here." albedo rubs your back gently, letting you rest your head on his shoulder. his comfort doesn't take away the pain of your headache, but it's reassuring. "thank you, bedo," you say softly.
"i'll take care of you while they get here. get well soon, my love."
Tumblr media
childe is instantly worried about you when teucer tells him you've been in bed all day. he opens the door to his bedroom to see you wrapped in a mountain of blankets. usually, he'd find it cute, but he has a feeling you're sick.
"darling, i'm home," he says, pulling the blankets down to see you sniffling underneath. he regrets answering to his mission when he sees you sick. "(y/n), i'm sorry, i shouldn't have left you alone." childe quickly damps a towel with cool water, placing it on your forehead gently.
"it's okay, ajax, you didn't know." you hold his hand and smile weakly at him. his pouting face easily makes you laugh, but your happiness is short-lived as you sneeze again, which makes childe squeeze your hand. "i can go to the pharmacy to get you medicine, but i don't want to leave you alone again..."
"i'll be fine, you can head out to the pharmacy."
"maybe i can ask tonia to head out for me-"
"ajax." he laughs at your suddenly stern tone, saying he was just joking.
"i'll be back, darling. wait for me, will you?"
Tumblr media
constant 'i told you so's flood your ears as you watch scaramouche wring your jacket before hanging it on a branch. you two were casually out on a walk when it began to rain. this didn't stop you, however, as you cheerfully ran around.
scaramouche took protection from under a tree, scoffing as he sees you enjoying the rainfall. the rain has since then stopped, and now your sopping, sneezing, body sits next to his legs. "i told you the rain would make you sick."
"i know, you've told me like, 20 times now." you cross your arms as you sneeze again, earning a loud sigh from scaramouche. he finally sits down, but you don't look at him, as you sneeze once more in the other direction.
his constant scolding was getting a bit irritating until you felt a gust of wind coming from beside you. you turn to look at scaramouche, whose head was facing the other way. his hand was producing a constant source of anemo, which was slowly drying your clothes.
"you always play in the rain and get sick and guess whose liability you become? mine!"
"i'm sorry..." "ha? why are you sorry? anyway,"
Tumblr media
lucky for you, tighnari is the best at taking care of others when they're sick. he knows exactly what medicine they need and how much rest they should get. "stay in bed, dearest, you're still sick." one problem: he doesn't let you do anything.
even if it's just a small cough or cold, he's quick to make sure you stay in bed. he always makes sure to stay with you though, so it's not all that bad. when he has to go out, he asks collei to watch you for him. of course collei is worried about you as well, but she at least lets you have a little more freedom.
"don't tell tighnari you let me go out, okay?" you and collei went for a stroll just outside your hut, the nice breeze being easy to breath in. "i won't (y/n)," she whispers, not wanting to get caught by the other forest rangers who don't know you're out of bed.
as you and collei enjoy your stroll, you hear a familiar voice in the distance, and a shiver runs down your spine. "..collei, i have to run," you tell her, and she nods her head. tighnari got back earlier than you thought, and he caught you both outside the hut. "(y/n)! hey!"
you run, or rather, jog, away from tighnari as he (slowly) chases you. you laugh as you playfully scream, the other forest rangers admiring the sight of the two of you playing cat and mice. when he finally catches up to you, he grabs your wrist and drags you back to your hut. "nari, i just wanted to go for walk."
"i know, but as your caretaker, it's my job to look after you. get better first, and then we can walk all you want."

Your fingertips calmly run through his dark locks, so softly that it's almost a ghostly touch. His head rests on your shoulder. It isn't unusual for Levi to snore very softly when he's deep asleep, his mouth hanging slightly open as his breathing becomes labored, allowing the bottom of his white teeth to peek through his dried lips. Your left hand soothes him, while the right one holds your phone as you scroll through TikTok disinterestedly. What is unusual is for Levi to be sleeping at 13:00 on a Tuesday, buried under the thick winter duvet.
He had taken a day off from work due to the flu, and you knew that if Levi let you know the night before that he was taking the day off, it was because he truly felt terrible. So, you took the day off too to be there for him. The fever rose at night, lowered after he took medicine, but rose again in the midmorning, and he had fallen asleep, exhausted once more.
Your thumb moves up and down repeatedly, passing one short video after another until something catches your attention. An influencer explains new poses to use for sending nudes, and with Christmas around the corner, any information that could secure you a better gift is considered good. She explains in detail how to lower yourself on your knees, placing a blanket on the floor because it's cold, legs parted, weight shifted to the front of your legs as you arch your back. Your back should be facing a mirror that reaches the floor, softly turning to the side and taking a photo of the reflection.
"That one is nice," Levi's hoarse voice comes from your left as his half-lidded eyes admire the explanation. "But the one over the shoulder to the ass is better."
First, you slightly jump, surprised by his voice breaking the silence, then you click your tongue. "Too bad, it's meant to be a surprise, so now it's not happening." You fake a strict tone as Levi's arms grip your body, trying to find a more comfortable position, coughing a few times in the process.
"Well, if you send it, I promise to act surprised," he comments as his voice loses its initial sleepiness, and his hands run over your body, squeezing your waist playfully. "You know what would make me feel better?" he suggests, and you swear you can feel the smirk on his lips against your skin.
"The chicken soup that I made you," you reply while rising from the bed now that he seems to be finally awake. His hands refuse to withdraw as you part from his frame, groaning annoyed. "You can barely breathe, and you're thinking about that?"
"Well, one head is filled with shitty mucus, so the other is doing the thinking," Levi says as he moves to lie flat on the mattress, coughing a couple of times and reaching for the napkins to blow his nose.
Despite it all, his sense of humor seems intact, making you chuckle as you move to the door. Two steps outside the room, and you hear his congested voice, "You know, that picture would look very good with the set I gifted you. I'm dying; conceive me one last gift."
Rolling your eyes so big that you must have almost torn a muscle, 'Men… they get a cold and act as if they are writing their testament.'
If he was in a cocky mood, therefore you were too. Peeking over the door's frame to look back at him laying on the bed enveloping himself as a burrito with the duvet and said, "Who said the photo was for you?"
The anger appearing in his face slowly doesn't match his red nose and mouth hanging, making you chuckle as you descend the stairs to the kitchen.
"You're lucky I'm dying—cough, cough, or I would put you in your place, brat"

-------------------------------------------------------
You felt your body heavy that you couldn't move when you wanted to. Your hands above your head, tied to the head board of the bed. Your eyes wanted to open, so you pried them, feeling a bit of a burn.
"Mmh...oww." you groaned, opening your eyes and saw what was in front of you. A tall man wearing a tight, black, t-shirt that shows his tone abs and muscles. Tan trousers that doesn't hide his bulge well enough, and a black cloth covering his face. But those blue eyes. Those blue eyes that you are familiar with. "K- König?"
He tilted his head, walking to the side of the bed, getting closer to you. He took off his mask, revealing his face to you. He sat down on the bed, making the bed sink down a bit. He hold your chin using his thump, "you're so beautiful." He got closer to you, his mouth near yours. "My beautiful bunny."
"Where am I?" You felt his lips over your cheek, on your forehead, over your nose, on your neck. How badly he wanted you. How hard he's pressing the palm of his hand to his cock, feeling it hardened. "König."
"You're home, liebling." He said kissing your neck while rubbing his hardened, clothed, cock with the palm of his hand. You can feel your wet spot of your neck, where his lips are, vibrate with his moans.
He got up and hopped on the bed with you. He grabbed your thighs and spread them apart. He positioned himself in between your legs, his throbing dick touching your clothed area. You didn't fight him. You didn't argue. You didn't scream. He lifted your chin up for you to make direct eye contact with him. "I'm afraid I have to stop, bunny." He got close to your face, "not now. I have to prepare you."
He got up and left to go to the bathroom. You quickly closed your legs to hide the fact on how wet he got you. You felt so weak on his touch.
König dropped his trousers and started to jerk off. He pumped his cock with his hand, gripping it tight. He wants to touch you, to be inside you. It didn't help that you were tied up the way you were, it turned him on even more.
He gripped onto the sink, closing his eyes shut. "A-..aaah..liebling....augh...liebling....mmgh...ngh....Scheiße!" He felt his balls getting heavy, bouncing on how hard he's fucking himself. How badly he wanted you to suck them dry. To take his full dick in your mouth. To watch your eyes rolling the back of your head as he cums deeply inside of you. He pumped his hand back and forth rapidly fast. Squeezing his hard, veiny, girthy cock,"(Y-y/n)...Ja!...aAaH!....." he felt the cum squirting out of the tip of his penis. He watched as cum covered all over the mirror of the medicine cabinet, the sink, the floors, his hand, dam even parts of the wall. How badly he wanted this. How badly he wanted to fuck you. To mark you.
Your his to touch and breed. To love and cherish. To sacrifice the world for you. He knows how much you take over his mind. He would kill a thousand men for you.
After he cleaned himself and the bathroom, he made his way over you. He adored how you aren't screaming at him, how he feared your reaction, thinking that you might put up a fight with him. "König?"
"Yes, darling." He took his shirt and pants and put on a pair of light sweat shorts.
"Are you going to kill me?" You looked at him. It was a stupid question and you know that. But the feeling on your chest, the nervousness, the fear. Is he getting revenge for him being locked up? Was he playing you this entire time, is he playing you until you gain his trust, just for him to drive a knife on your back.
He snapped his head towards, slaming the drawer shut. "Never. Ever! Say that again. I'll never hurt you." He cupped your face with his hand, "I love you, liebling." He pulled out his bowie knife, which made you flinch a bit, but all he did is to cut the rope off your hands and headboard. "Let's get some rest, love."
He positioned you to your side, facing away from him. You pulled your knees to your chest as König positioned himself the same way. He covered the both of you with the blanket, you felt his arm wrapped around your abdomen, pulling you closer to him.
Your body shivered all night. You couldn't tell if it was maybe the cold or because you are laying in bed with König. His warmth body, made you feel out of place. You never experienced this before. His strong grip. His affection. His attention towards you. You never had this before. He wants you. He loves you. He said that he loves you.
"I'm so sorry (Y/n). Your mom's liver isn't responding to any treatment and she doesn't have alot of time." The doctor told the girl, sitting on the doctors office.
"I thought UNOS was going to give my mom a new liver, isn't she on the transplant list?" The girl question as the doctor gave her a nod.
"Unfortunately, UNOS rejected your mother. Your mother has a drinking a problem. For UNOS, they don't accept patients who...harm themselves and possible have them damage the new organ when it can go to someone who-"
"Isn't an alcoholic. And I'm not a match, right?" The girl finishes the Doctor's sentence.
"I'm sorry, but you're right."
"What should I do?" The girl asked.
"Be by her side. Call anyone you need to call. I'm so sorry, (Y/n)."
What if there is no one?
"(Y/n), what are you doing here?" The sick mother said with her raspy voice.
"I wanted to visit you, mom." The girl gave her mother a smile.
"I don't need you here (Y/n)." The sick mother looked up at the ceiling of the hospital.
The girl's smile disappeared.
"Call your father. Tell him where I'm at." The mother closed her eyes, enduring the pain of swallowing the saliva.
"Mom, he doesn't want t-"
"Call him!" The mother followed up with tough, dry coughs.
The girl dialed her father's number. She hardly spoke to the father. He never really showed up to any of her events or any day at all. He mostly mails her letters and card, sometimes. When she does call, he hardly picks up. When she leaves a voice-mail, he will respond with a short text message.
"Dad? It's me..(Y/n). Um...I'm sorry for bothering you, I'm not sure if you might get this message. Uh...my mom is sick and she wants to see you. So...please get back to me when you get this. Ooh and uh we're in Saint Teresa's hospital if you might be wondering...um bye."
The girl waited for hours for the response. Her mother was question when the father will get here. "Where is he, (Y/n)?"
"I'm not sure, mom. I called him. He might be here. But I'm here and i-"
"(Y/n) I don't need you. I never did. And I don't want to see you as the last face I see when I die, so get your father here. Do something good for once. Do this for me."
The girl called her father multiple times. But as time went on and days passed, not a single response. The mother would look at the girl with disgust and hatred.
The mother grew weaker each day. She eventually felt her fall through. "(Y/n). I want you to know, because I don't want you to bother shedding a tear. I know I've never been a good mother to you, but the truth is. I never loved you. You tore me apart since the day I find out about you. Because of you, your father found me unattractive and slept with multiple women." She laughed with her weak voice as you stood there, on her side. " you caused me to feel this way, and now I'm paying for it. All thanks to you. You deserve a good mom, but you're not daughter, you never were. Get out of here. I don't want to see your face."
The doctors talked to the girl about the different programs for grief. The girl worked two jobs, while going to school so she can afford a funeral for her mother. She was the only one to attend. The only one to say goodbye to her. As they placed her six feet under, the girl finally received a message from her father saying 'I'm sorry'
She never went in contact with him ever again. She never received any mail from him. It was just her.
You woke up and didn't feel Köngs arm around you. You sat up on the bed looking around the room. A desk on your right, a chair on the right corner of the room. A dresser next to a closet on your left. Near the corner, entrance was closed shut. You wanted to get up, but heard the door knob jiggle making you froze on the spot.
König came into the room and saw they you woke up. "Schatz, you are awake. I made breakfast. C'mon let's go." He grabbed your hand and guided you to the kitchen. The home is beautiful. Very antique and vintage. He walked you to the kitchen table and opened up a sit to you. You saw the delicious breakfast he made you. He did this for you, you thought. Do you even deserve it?
He sat down in front of you and immediately digged in the plate of food. "I miss real food. Not that crap they give me in that prison hell." He said, chomping down the food.
"Konig? You stabbed the piece of sausage with your fork.
He looked at you, taking a sip of his water, "yes, schatz."
"How did you end up at the hospital? I know that you're ex- military, but how?" You questioned him with a squint of your eye, afraid you might've said something triggering to him
"No, love. Not ex-military. I'm still in. They didn't like my behavior with the enemies so they had me tested and the stupid doctor sended me there." He took another bite of his scramble egg.
"Dr. Smith?"
"No, another one. My original doctor left and that blonde bitch came in like she knows everything." His thick accent with a chuckle made your heart pound. You wouldn't have thought you would find it attractive. "But it's okay, she's gone now so there is nothing to worry about."
"So you're still in the military?" How if he murdered innocent people? You thought.
"Mm..sort of. I was only suppose to be there for two years and leave, but then you came along and changed everything." He followed your glance at him with his eyes, "and if your worried about the people I killed. I have good men that cover it from the public eye. Eat your breakfast, it's going to get cold."
There was a knock on the door. You still have no idea where you are. Who's house this is? Where are you?
König stood up, placing the napkin on the table, "stay here." He walked up to the door and opened. You tried to peak who it was, but couldn't due to the massive structure of König's back. "Okay, put him in the garage. Make sure to tie him up good." He shut the door and made your way towards you," he whispered to the man infront of him.
Still sitting on the chair, you looked up to him. "Who was that?"
König lowered his head with his thump on your lip, "no one, liebling. Eat your breakfast."
He turned his back on you, ready to head out. "Where am I? What is this place, König?"
"Just eat your breakfast, liebling." He left you in the kitchen.
He made his way to the garage. Horangi was standing there, stomping the stomach of Mr.Miller, who has duck tape on his mouth and hands and feet tied together on his back. Mr. Miller saw König coming out of the shadows. His tight black shirt and tan trousers, making it hard to picture him without the white wear of the hospital. As soon as he saw König's face, Miller let out a scream through the ducktape on his mouth.
"Thank you Horangi, but I can take it from here." Horangi gave him a nod and left the two men alone in the garage.
He crutch down to him with his legs spread apart, knees bent, forearms resting on his thighs, " Such an imbecile."
He was about to take off the ducktape when he heard your voice, "König?" He looked back and saw you standing there with a fright look, "What's going on? What are you doing?"
He stood up and marched over to you, "Go back inside okay."
You looked past König and saw Miller tied up. "Why is he here?"
"Schatz, go back inside." König pointed to the exit door.
You looked at him, "are you going to kill him?"
König pinched the bridge of his nose, "(y/n)! Do what I tell you! Go back inside!" You flinched at his harsh tone at you. He noticed and felt bad, "I'm sorry, schatz, but you have to listen to me, okay. I'll deal with him, go inside and eat your breakfast, it's probably already cold."
You shook your head, "are you going to kill him?" You fiddled with your fingers. You couldn't keep your mouth shut and do as he says, you thought. However, you needed to know.
"Scheiße! Tu, was ich dir sage, und ich werde dir nicht weh tun. Wie schwer ist das!? (do what I tell you and I won't hurt you, how hard is that!?)" he yelled at you. He never to yell at you. Quite frankly, he knows he's overreacting. "Yes, I'm going to kill him. He touched you. He touched something that is mine. Du bist mein!"
"I'm sorry König." You looked down on the floor. He rushes to you and cupped your face.
He lifted your face up for you to face him, "it's okay, liebling. You just have listen to me, okay."
"You'll never hurt me right? You said you'll never hurt me." You said, placing your hand on his.
He shook his head, placing a kiss on your forehead. "Go back inside, okay. I'll be in there in a minute."
You did as you said. You went back inside. You heard the door behind you lock. König didn't want you walking in on him breaking every one of Miller's bone.
König took his bowie knife out and cut the rope that tied his legs and arms together. He ripped off the ducktape that taped his mouth shut. König lifted Miller's left food up in the air. He placed his foot in the middle of his calf. "NO! PLEASE! I'M SORRY! I'LL NEVER DO THAT AGAIN! PLEASE!" his cries didn't stop König from stomping on the calf, hearing the bone crack. "AAAH! GOOD! FUCK!" König lifted his other leg while the men cried in pain, "I'm so sorry! Please! Please! Please! I'm sorry!"
Snap
The men let out a shriek of pain, feeling his legs completely shattered. Nothing stopped König to reach his arms and pulled them apart, breaking them from the shoulder point. The men on the floor, feeling the blood coming out of his body.
König then reached to his neck and gave it a final squeeze. Seeing the life of the men quickly going away.
You waited for König in the bedroom, you covered yourself with the blanket, staring at the door. At last, you heard his loud footsteps coming closer. He opened the door and closed it shut. "Schatz, you have to listen to me. You have to do what I tell you." He took off his black shirt, showing his perfect abs and chest. The scars on his body, making look raggedy. He took off his pants, leaving his boxers on. His tone thighs and legs that made his way towards you. "Don't make me punish you."
He yanked off your blanket which made you cover your body with your arms. He grabbed your legs, which were bent up to your chest for more protection, and pulled them down, pulling you closer to him. "Why don't I show you? My beautiful, beautiful, hase."
"Meins." He gripped onto the neck line of your white tank top. "Alles meins." He ripped your top apart, revealing your lacy bra.
"My beautiful hase. Mein wunderschöner Hase."
He would never hurt you.

Dungeon Meshi Quick Reacts
CH.30 (Good Medicine)
Tumblr media Tumblr media
I kind of assumed that things would get worse from here...
...yeah, there's no 'but' to that. Getting Falin back so quick was too good to be true.
Tumblr media
Aren't those the ghosts Falin talked to? They could be friendly.
Tumblr media
"ee gads! a hairless little man!" I'd be frightened too if Chillchuck was suddenly behind a door I'd just opened.
Tumblr media
Chillchuck, buddy, less than 24 hours ago you threw a knife directly into a dragon's eye. You can take care of some worgs, right?
Tumblr media
Senshi's a card carrying member of the smells-okay-to-me-chief club.
Tumblr media
Orcs be like 'oh, dragon's gone? Hm. Curious' and then just carry on. Wouldn't you be worried that something took out the dragon? Could be even more dangerous than the dragon itself.
I feel like at this point Falin might be just that.
Tumblr media
MOUTH TO MOUTH RESUSCITATION!
Tumblr media
Marcille, I don't think you have a lot of options.
Tumblr media
......just realized those moose antlers are holding up her rack. Talk about a pushup bra. Damn. Respect.
Tumblr media
Wait go back to that "create monsters to do their bidding" thing again. Was that the little mini dragons or does that include larger monsters like the dragon itself?!
OR something that was IN the dragon, controlling its actions and make it act irrationally? Is that why the Sorcerer wasn't surprised to see Falin as a separate thing outside the dragon? Was the assumption that whatever THING it was had escaped and become Falin?
And for all we know... it kinda had. It had merged with her spirit....
Or maybe I'm way off.
Tumblr media
Congrats on the larger story plot! :D You're now in even more danger! Hoorah!
Tumblr media
Chillchuck, a normal person would just go 'I'm leaving, pay me'. You're giving yourself away, worrying for them.
Tumblr media
I can't hate him for the reasoning here. The deeper you go, the less likely you are to be found. The only person who cares enough about Marcille and Laios and Chillchuck to find their bodies are.... each other. So if they're dead here, they're likely dead-dead.
Tumblr media
I want to nestle into her bosom and live there as a little creature.
Tumblr media
Moreso than when she was literally in the gullet of a red dragon?! Come on, be reasonable. At least she's alive now. And remembers who she is.
Tumblr media
Ooooh friendly ghosts. Makes sense why Falin was so chill about them.
Tumblr media
All the more reason to believe there's something to be done!
Love the doggo yawning behind Chillchuck.
Tumblr media
He's a coward, but being afraid isn't necessarily a sign of weakness. It's a sign that you realize how dangerous a situation is. Cowardice isn't stupidity, no more than ignorance of danger is bravery.. I think the orc leader is maybe realizing he's not doing it for completely selfish reasons. Mad respect to her though.
Tumblr media
It WAS Falin, wasn't it? It wasn't as if it was a thing pretending to be her. She was there, and she was revived successfully, and then the soul confusion thing happened.
......damn. What a small holiday they got, before the next horrible thing happened...
Tumblr media
hey, Marcille is not dumb! She's got loads of braincells! they're just all focused on doing evil stuff and being gay.
Tumblr media
🎯
Tumblr media
That's right! It's just like you, Chillchuck!
Tumblr media
Was that... there before?
Oh, okay, no, it was. Hm.......
Tumblr media
This stupid man is about to full a Falin and jump out a window to go look for her, isn't he.
Tumblr media
Gods, this sucks for him so much. For all of them. Because they.... they WERE successful! They rescued Falin! They brought her back from the head! They DID that!
But now, instead of getting the reward of it, she's just gone. Is it better, because she's alive?
Or worse, because the threat is even more nebulous?
If they all died, would it be worth it?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
who's the coward...? he's ready to go back.
Tumblr media
For Falin, they went down there. They risked themselves.
For them, after talking to him only a bit, the orc leader went from 'hey, nice snack for my dog' to 'we're helping you get that girl back'.
It's about the CONNECTION!!! IT'S ABOUT HELPING EACH OTHER AFTER LEARNING TO UNDERSTAND ONE ANOTHER!!!

Seeing Ghosts
Tumblr media
This is the first fic I've written here, so I hope you enjoy it!
Pairing: Bradley Bradshaw x reader
---------------------------------------------------
"Bradley honey, I'm home!"
No answer.
I sighed, setting down the groceries on the island countertop. I knew he was home, the Bronco sitting in the driveway was a clear indication of that, but I also knew why I had received radio silence.
"How was Mav?" I asked, almost scared of the answer myself.
"Mav's fine hun." Bradley retorted. He must have been upstairs in the bedroom, hiding away from me. I understood how hard this must have been on him, but not seeing my husband run down the stairs and greet me with a kiss when I walked through the door still kind of hurt my feelings. Still, I knew how important his space was after his visits.
"How are you bubs?" I called back. Nothing.
Mav had been in and out of the hospital for months now, more and more parts of his body slowly giving way. For a man who wasn't supposed to live past his 30s, everyone was certainly surprised to see it was in fact old age that did him in. Recently though, it was his brain that was going, and this seemed to be the hardest on everyone.
Bradley had been struggling, badly. Between his parents and Ice, Mav was the only one he had left, and to see him slowly slipping away, losing both his body and mind at the same time? Bradley had barely been able to stand it. Each night he would come home after visiting, crawl into bed, and simply lay his head on my chest and cry. I really wasn't sure what else to do at this point, other than be there for him.
I sighed, grabbing the fancy bottle of wine I picked up from the grocery store, before heading upstairs. We both needed a pick me up, and what better way than a good wine, and a home-cooked meal.
"Roos, darling," I called, slightly pushing open the door to our bedroom. I vaguely caught a glimpse of his figure, but I pushed right past it, wanting to grab the things I knew he needed and was probably avoiding. When he got like this, he tended to neglect his medicine, and I knew if I took a glance at him, I would have too. I grabbed the bottle off of the bathroom counter, seeing it right next to his spread-out shaving kit. I pushed back into the bedroom, finally looking him in the eyes.
"Roos, I have a- oh God!"
Rooster sat on the edge of the bed, his big broad shoulders slumped over in defeat. I could tell he had been crying by the dark red circles around his eyes, but none of this is what concerned me. Above Rooster's top lip laid no mustache, something he had worn with pride for years. He always considered it his best feature and took meticulous care in grooming it. I had never even seen him without it. I knew something had to have been terribly wrong.
I sat down the wine on the dresser, my excitement fleeting with the bottle, before reaching for his face. I brought my legs over him, straddling his lap, before taking his face into both of my heads. Immediately, I began to wipe his tears, while simultaneously peppering kisses to his cheeks.
"Roos, honey, what happened?"
"He called me Nick again."
My heart sank, pulling him fully into my embrace. I felt tears start to fall from my own eyes and the boy beneath me began to sob, shaking in my embrace. His hands clenched the back of my shirt, as I attempted to comfort him in his sorrows.
"Bradley, I am so sorry," I said. I felt guilty. I felt anger toward Maverick, even though I knew none of it was his fault. Still, he had hurt Bradley, my Bradley, and the anger that came with that radiated through me. I took a deep breath, trying to push these emotions down.
"I just want him to see me" He whimpered into my shoulder. My hand found the nape of his neck, slowly playing with his hair there. It was his comfort spot, and I felt him slowly relax into me, letting all of his body weight fall freely as if we were being combined into one. I let him lay here for a few minutes, switching between playing with his hair and rubbing his back, before slowly backing away, and once again taking his face into my hands.
"Bradley, honey, I am so sorry that happened to you, but I need you to know, no matter what happens, Maverick loves you so much sweet boy," I comforted, "and on top of that, I love you so much. So no matter what, you are loved, Bradley."
He pulled me in the back of my neck, planting a sweet kiss right on my lips. The lack of hair felt foreign to me and caught me off guard. I pulled away, still holding his face in my hands, when I noticed his cheeks turning a color red.
"So, how bad is it?" He asked genuinely, causing me to chuckle.
"You are still the most handsome man in the world Bradshaw," I told him genuinely, "but how long before it grows back?"

The next morning, you woke up with an unbearable headache, immediately noticing Rindou's presence, you could only remember the argument you had.
He would be extremely worried about you and your condition, so he would do his best to make all the hangover go away.
"Are you awake? Do you even remember what happened yesterday?" Rindou questioned you, giving you some cut fruits to feed you.
"We had a fight and then you got drunk on some guy you don't even know, fuck it, do you know how worried I was about you?" Rindou said in a serious tone, shaking his head in denial.
"I hate giving lectures, but, don't ever do shit like that again, if I hadn't found you and taken care of you, something bad could have happened and I honestly wouldn't forgive myself! And, I'm so sorry for our fights..." Rindou would hug you and sincerely regret every word he said, despite that, he wouldn't stop scolding you for your behavior.

"What the fuck were you doing in that bar yesterday?" As soon as you woke up, it didn't matter if you were hungover or not, he would question you.
"I hope you at least remember the guy who was drinking with you, I shouldn't even be looking at your face, but I'm here like an idiot taking care of you!" Kokonoi would definitely still be hurt and jealous about the whole situation, however, he would also take care of you the next morning, not forgetting to give you several lectures for drinking more than you could handle.
"Don't ever do that again and promise me you'll never step foot in that kind of local alone!" He would make you promise, Koko actually worried about you even after they argued, somewhat ignoring his jealousy for your well-being.
"... Forgive me for our argument, I know it was me who caused such damage, I'm sorry for my words, they weren't true." After he calmed down, he would apologize for such an argument earlier.

"Holy shit, I thought you would never wake up, what the fuck did you want to do? Go into an alcoholic coma because of me?" Izana would question you the next morning, completely ignoring your headache and hangover.
"Do you realize that I found you in a bar drinking with a guy? I wanted to leave you there or in the middle of the street, but no! I preferred to take care of you all night!" Still jealous, he would say without thinking too much or being careful with his words, for Izana, that situation really was stressful and worrying at the same time.
"Don't make such a fuss again, I should have kicked that guy's ass but I was busy worrying about my irresponsible darling." Izana would definitely not fail to give you the worst lecture you've ever heard, besides, he really wouldn't have any desire to apologize for the argument before all that mess, even though he belongs taking care of you, he would ignore you most of the day and he would throw in your face the fact that he had wasted his night trying to cure your drunkenness.

Shinichiro would stare at you in silence, making you eat light food and take medicine in the morning to cure your hangover, after a while he would find the courage to talk about what happened.
"Seeing you with that guy makes me feel so fuking sick, even more drunk, I didn't need to see that." He would say, still indignant and disappointed with his behavior.
"... Something bad could have happened to you if I hadn't looked for you, I don't want to come out as the hero of the story, I know I caused this, but, don't ever do that again." Despite being hurt, he would be understanding, leaving his jealousy aside, even if he still felt uncomfortable.
"I'm sorry if I hurt you with some of my words in our argument, I hope this all serves as a lesson for both of us, I want our relationship to be healthy, you understand?" Shinichiro would sincerely feel sorry and wouldn't hesitate to apologize to you, even so, he would still feel strange for a while thinking that you would easily leave him for another man without even thinking twice.

"What the hell were you looking for in that bar yesterday? I'm glad I found you, I've never been so angry in my entire life, I'm so hesitant." Hanma said as soon as you woke up, he was still angry and hurt by your attitude, even so, he gave you some medicine and made you eat.
"I spent the night awake taking care of you, I cursed you a little, the shit you did still hasn't entered my head." He would definitely take out some of his anger on you, still jealous, Hanma felt threatened to see you with another man.
"Who was that son of a bitch that was with you? Or do you not even remember that disgusting face?" He would question you about the person who was drinking with you, even if you claimed that you didn't know him, Hanma would still remain suspicious of that whole situation, at the same time, he would feel relieved that he took care of you even though he was angry.
"... Let's not fight anymore, please." Hanma wouldn't apologize, but he would definitely regret that argument.

"Good morning, are you feeling better? For a moment I thought you weren't going to wake up... You really drank too much, you know that, don't you?" Kisaki told you as he made you drink water and eat, despite being angry, he definitely didn't want to treat you rudely.
"... I know I hurt you in that argument, but don't ever do that again, understand? Something bad could have happened to you, you know you crossed the line, I don't want you to do or think about doing that again." Without elaborating too much on the subject, Kisaki would say, leaving his jealousy aside at that moment, he was sincerely sorry, even though he was a cold person, with you he always tried to be a sweetheart.
"Taking care of you will never be a problem for me, it's my obligation to keep you safe and well, but don't do shit like that to yourself again, damn! That was so ridiculous." He wouldn't stop scolding you like that, however, he was just doing it out of concern.
