mark... stretch marks. thinks stretch marks are so cool, like actually thinks they're so hot. likes to trace them when you both watch a movie together, its so second nature to him. when you told him you didn't like them he was kinda lost. he's like 'what, dude you look like a painting." likes them especially when they're deep/dark but doesn't care where they are, likes them when you have them in places only you and him can see as well since it makes it more personal. heart eyes for you always and isn't corny about it, he makes you feel so hot about yourself deserved. encourages wearing whatever you want regardless of if it shows the marks because he'll always be there to hype you up. also likes that his name is in the name LOL

renjun... noses/side profiles. ADORES big noses and unique side profiles. tells you its a challenge for him to draw because he HAS to perfect you on paper. can't stop looking at you. traces his fingers on your nose all the time and loves when it's cold out and the tip of it gets all pink and reddish hehe. compares you to paintings all the time, its in his nature. once he meets you, he goes on a mission to try and perfect drawing your side profile even before you guys began dating. even going as far as to sit next to you in lectures just to be able to sneak glances at you LOL. nose pecks and boops all the time

jeno... plus sized people. TO ME i feel like plus size people are the joy of his life. hates when you're an adult and people either infantilize or sexualize you for being plus sized because like damn... it gets on his nerves lol. never thought it was that big of a deal other than the fact that he thinks you're a god among humans. just finds you so gorgeous and you're such a beautifully stark contrast from what he looks like, that its such a good balance in a sense of like everyone wants what they cant have, yknow? just loves feeling how smooth/curvy and soft you are??? he's obsessed with everything about you to be honest. never makes you feel fetishized or weird. #1 defender. takes couple pics by standing behind you and placing his palm on your lower stomach YALL KNOW WHAT IM TALKIN ABBTTT

haechan... crooked teeth. OH MY GOD thinks its literally the cutest thing ever. he didn't know you didn't like your smile until he caught on to how much you would cover your face whenever he would make you laugh. he would make it a point one day to tell extra jokes and catch you smiling so he could grip your wrists and pull your hands away from his face. takes this as an opportunity to GUSH about how much he loves the way you look when you smile and how cute your teeth are and how much you remind him of a bunny, or a certain animal hehe. WHEN YOU SMILE INTO KISSES?? he loses his mind. likes to pull up the corners of your lips whenever he's a bit sad because he claims seeing your pearly whites will recharge him haha

jaemin... round faces. GOSH, oh gosh he is obsessed. always pokes your cheeks and runs his thumbs on your cheekbones whenever he holds your face in his hands. likes it when you put on a lot of blush because it excentuates your face shape. LOOVES when you smile and your cheekbones lift up sm and you look so glowy yknow?? cheek pincher and squisher. oh my god i've said this before but he thinks you look so adorable when you wake up all puffy because it makes your cheeks and face 10x more round and soft. likes pulling your cheeks and taking off guard pics with your eyes shut tight, hand reaching for his to make him stop. does that thing where he sucks your cheeks with his mouth LMAOOO. you are his soft angel baby

chenle... acne. it doesn't matter where the acne is, he never minds it or makes you feel bad about it. likes helping you with your skincare and putting cute pimple patches on any marks or blemishes. he has acne too im sure so it's nice to be human, yknow. never understands why its an insecurity to you because he thinks its the least important thing about you. always tells you how having acne never makes you any less pretty. always encourages you to wear tank tops or clothes that may show body acne because he thinks it doesn't matter. and not in a bad way like he would never ever dismiss anything that would upset you, i think he would just try and make it a point that some acne is never gonna change how attractive you are to him. shoulder kisses always

jisung... thick thighs. ON MY SUNG THICK THIGH ADGENDAAA he loves them sm. likes playing with them like silly putty. doesn't matter if you have big thighs but hip dips, wide hips, flat butt, big butt, like he does not care he just loves your lower body in general lol. can get suggestive with it once you get closer in your relationship but also just likes poking and playing with the fat and skin on your upper thighs for funzies. runs his hands on your butt but so genuinely innocently lol. you are his best pillow. likes laying in between them while you do things. head on your stomach with your legs on either side of his head, runs shapes on the outer part of them with his fingers. knows how when he squeezes your legs with rings on, you jump from the cold metal, he thinks its funny lol

I have so many headcannons/scenarios for these silly lads I decided to document them over the last like week, take these as you will (I will PROBABLY write some of these.... eventually)

Modern!AU aquarium trip- little Omega's first outing with all of them !!! Crosshairs a little prick as usual, mama Echo has everything they need and still ends up chasing Cross around all day, and Wrecker is mistaken for a chaperone for a kids trip that day, so he gets to have lots of fun with some random five year old kids who think he's the best thing since sliced bread- Omega, Tech and Hunter end up going around all day, and Tech and Omega have a GREAT time. Hunter gets them ice-cream because he can't say no to his youngest two siblings, not when they're the cutest pair in the world- just basically a bunch of cute ass siblings shit

Modern!AU game night !!! They're ruthless animals that play the WII and learn quickly that they shouldn't be allowed play competitive games, ever. Classic Cross and Tech bickering with Omega teaching Hunter how to play while Wrecker and Echo test the limits of the games physics. Bonus points if they play a horror game and scream, forgetting ALL about their squabbles just for the sake of safety in numbers

Modern!AU power outage...... really shitty time for them all, especially when it's just Tech, Wrecker and Omega home alone late at night, spooky sounds have them sending Tech outside, who spooks them BAD.......... he's evil. And gets locked out of the house for his troubles, which doesn't help

Not modern au !!!! Just a PheeTech mission fic where they fuck around and find out, dance while they're supposed to be sneaking around, make shitty jokes while hiding from smugglers and blow up a ship or two.... maybe they hold hands, as a treat

More not modern au, just Crosshair and Hunter going on their first mission together after everything..... awkward times, very serious !! >:( nah jk they get space ice-cream and talk about their feelings, they're lovely

Profession: She has a summer job working with the hippo riders, although that doesn't pay as well as adventuring, so she's looking forward to Dawntrail and doing more than delivery runs.

P H Y S I C A L A S P E C T S

Hair: maroon and light pink

Skin: brown

Tattoos/scars: I headcanon the single choice of tattoos per face for roes are meaningful somehow - I chose coming of age, getting her Adventurer Name, and leaving home, so those were fresh porple swoops over her cheekbones in ARR :D I've only known her as long as she's been Frog and looked like this.

The scar on her nose is from being underhand punted like a rugby ball by an older brother back when she was an orb shaped child. Since adventuring the regular healing has stopped her getting too scarred up from any misadventures.

F A M I L Y

Parents: Notable members of their remote mountain community, maintaining an important set of Arcanima wards around an aetherically dangerous geological fault. Of course, they're good at their jobs so this wasn't very scary as an upbringing. They're a lovely couple and make a hell of a bowl of soup. All else I know about them is they're very supportive and Frog writes to them regularly.

Siblings: like six rowdy older brothers. She was very spoiled by this squad of bodyguards tbh. (Ignore the previous comment about one of them maiming her, they DO love her even if they saw her as a cannonball under other circumstances.) A couple of them left to be mercenaries, uncertain if for Garlemald - they don't write home as thoroughly.

Grandparents: Probably, tbh. We're getting out of my limited perception of Hellguard culture and history but I think I can say the remoteness of their village is an excuse for nothing too terrible to have happened to any of them :P

In-laws and other: She was sort of starting to think of Edmont as a potential in-law and he began acting like it after Events so she's acquired some without marrying. He DID also adopt Aymeric informally, so now she's courting him it's coming back around!

Pets: Multiple, even not counting animal sanctuary beasties. Some she drops by to visit where they're being looked after once she'd raised them or sheltered them for a while (the baby hippo was donated to the hippo riders thankfully before he got too large and hungry for example). Others live at the free company house getting spoiled by the staff. The free company is named after the baby tapir who is the best and cutest. :)

S K I L L S

Abilities: In character, she has yet to find something she isn't good at after a couple of false starts. (ooc is much more of a mess depending on my ability) As an all-jobs all-crafts all-gatherers weirdo she's genuinely alarming to contemplate.

Hobbies: crafting/gathering/fishing is more of a wind down respite than a career calling for her. Canonically she's finished the fishing log... ooc I haven't by a long shot :P She also loves visiting bars and pubs across the world that she's visited to drop in on old friends, or go on foodie tours of places she's liberated. They stole G'raha being a foodie traveller in the dawntrail trailer from her actually.

Kinda always wanted to do a in character review of all the drinking establishments in game.

T R A I T S

Most positive trait: determination and everything that went into being strong enough to do the end walk, which did feel like a culmination of all the positive things they ascribe to the WoL. Since she's living the life of box art Meteor with no plot deviations or alterations except what I can put into the downtime and spaces between cutscenes, I can't argue with times when they REALLY show the admirable heart of the WoL.

Most negative trait: She's not going to say no, so if you need a favour just stand near where she wanders by routinely and look forlorn and you WILL get helped to within an inch of your life.

L I K E S

Colors: royal purple, dark reds and deep blues

Smells: fresh baked anything. Probably also the fresh morning smell when she gets up at ass o'clock to do stretches or whatever gross things morning people do.

Textures: G'raha ears >:)

Drinks: black coffee, red wine, milky tea

Smokes: tried it with the Vath and hated it. Still has no idea if Fogweed is a drug or not.

Hi Bushy! I'd like to ask how did you get into k-dramas/ c-dramas and what are your favorites? I'm currently watching Love between fairy and devil and I'm so into it!

oh man i've been into asian dramas since I was a little teen. like while all my peers were into anime i gravitated toward jdramas, before eventually getting into kdramas and more recently this past year cdramas. I think I love the stories and that they're shorter overall than western tv, so I don't have to keep being engaged over the years.

Narrowing down my faves is soooo hard but for folks who want to get into kdramas my recs would be (under a read more because I used a lot of gifs):

Coffee Prince - all time fave, just the best characters and sweetest story. The ending was meh but I adore them all so much, this will always have a special place in my heart. Also the OST still SLAPS. Also also I know I used the term my best girl a lot but Go Eun Chan IS ACTUALLY the best girl she is like my dearest friend

Strong Woman Do Bong Soon - MY BEST GIRL (yes i know what i just said) and my best pathetic man, adore them and this story. Kdramas have this fun genre thats basically romcom with a side of murder and I eat that up. Also two of my favorite actors ever

Twenty Five Twenty One - I have to rec it because those first 12-14 episodes were the best episodes of any drama I've ever seen. Just phenomenal. Might break your heart but worth it tbh

When the Camelia Blooms - see: romcom with a side of murder genre. also just adore everything gong hyo jin is in

Healer - it's got its problems but the identity shenanigans are top tier just YEAH

Extraordinary Attorney Woo - I know western fans might not be so impressed with the fact that the actress herself is not on the spectrum, but I thought the portrayal was very well done and considering how this is the first kdrama depicting ASD characters as the hero, it's an incredible first step. Also it's just so adorable and wonderful I even put up with my hatred of legal dramas for it. Also whales.

Her Private Life - prettiest main couple ever i could stare at them forever. i'm not a fan of the childhood connection plot but i accepted it for this, also Sian my baby boy

Goong - SO DATED NOW but it's my first kdrama so i gotta rec it omg. But arranged marriage enemies to lovers YESSS AND MODERN MONARCHY YEAHHHH

Moonlight Drawn by Clouds - the crossdressing trope is a big one in kdrama and i always enjoy it look im a simple gal okay. also i adore the female lead so much

A Business Proposal - kookie fun, just so much fun djkfhsd. Wonderful friendships and romance. Thank god this aired while 2521 was on air cause i don't know how i would have survived tbh

Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok Joo - JUST THE CUTEST MAIN LEADS LIKE GOSH I LOVE THEM SO MUCH

Those are the ones off the top of my head I have to admit I am BEHIND and i don't always finish a drama, because tbh it's really a mixed bag and they can be good or absolute garbage but depends on your interests. I tend to gravitate towards romance genres but theres a lot of intrigue and mystery and action and melodrama there's really something for everyone. And not everyone will agree with each other on it but still

I'm new to cdramas but I really loved Love Between Fairy and Devil, stellar throughout. I gotta rec The Untamed because my best boys but it might not be for everyone. I'm still working on New Life Begins but it's very cute and feel good.

So! Mutant Mayhem is finally here and I took the day off work to go to the first showing this morning like a weirdo! I just wanted to share my initial thoughts on the movie now that I'm fresh out and haven't unblocked the Mutant Mayhem tag to see what others have been saying.

(Most of these come down to personal preference so, if you read something you don't like, don't come for me!)

First things first, the turtles!!! I love, love, LOVE them!!! This is honestly the first time I've had difficulty picking a fav. They were the highlight of the movie for me.

I don't think I've ever said this about Leo, but OMG he was adorable!! Such a good boi! I'm glad they cut that whole 'holier than thou' attitude he often gets lumped with. He was just out here doing his best and trying to have fun along the way.

Raph is my son. I have adopted him.

Donnie is hands down the cutest Donnie ever to exist. 2003 Donnie is still my fav, but I can have two, right?

I have to say that of the four, Mikey was the biggest surprise for me. And in the best way possible! I much prefer when he's not singled out as the stupid one acting dumb or the "funny" one. Sorry to any Mikey fans out there but I find most iterations of Mikey to be insufferable, and there're only three I actually genuinely like (including this one)! I like that he's on equal footing with his brothers. They are all dumb and funny together, and Mikey isn't fighting for their attention.

I was also super happy to see that no one turtle had the spotlight. They were very much a unit.

Return of the batman voice, this time ft. Leo!

The turtle tots were cute little chicken nuggets!! Really makes me want to get back into writing turtle tot fics!

This Splinter was really leaning into the stressed single father side of Splinter's persona more so than any other version. I'm here for it! He still kicked ass!

Another teen April. I'd prefer an older April that looks out for the turtles like an older sister tbh. I miss those days. But still, she was a great April all things considered!!

I could have done without the Leo/April stuff. I get that as teenagers they're going to have crushes, but any Turtle x April ship gives me the ick.

On that note, is Raph the only turtle to not have a significant crush on April in the whole franchise?!

The other mutants were enjoyable. None of them really stood out to me personally. Though, every Ray Fillet scene had me creased thinking about Postie in the recording booth. I'm glad that in the end they all sided with the turtles and they have a nice little found family going.

Splinter and his girlfriend!! 😂 It's about time!

WTF happened to Splinter that had him so concerned about them being milked. I mean, he was right in the end but, who hurt you child?

The animation style took a little getting used to but I thought it was very creative and interesting. The random shots from "real-life" like Ferris Bueller and the Chris' were a bit jarring, but funny nonetheless.

The whole "No Diggity" montage...*chef kiss* The 4 Non Blondes part was hilarious too!

I loved all the pop-culture references, but I think maybe it was a little excessive? I would have preferred if they left those primarily for the turtles. Instead, every character was a pop-culture connoisseur trying to out do the other characters.

Related to that point, I'm in Japan, so I felt bad for the non-English speaking Japanese watching this movie because there's only so much you can do with subtitles. 90% of the pop-culture references would go over the average viewers' head here, and yet, most of the comedy was contingent on these references. No one laughed. No one. (tbf, that's common in theaters in Japan regardless of how funny something is, but even so, I can't imagine it being very humorous to a non-English speaking adult here.) I might try the dubbed version just to compare. There's more freedom in dubbing but I can't see it being too much better.

That's all I got for now! I'm sure I forgot to mention a bunch of stuff. I will be going to see the movie again next week, and I'll probably have more to add after a second watch. But for now, I really enjoyed it. As a fan of the darker versions of the TMNT, I know I'm not the target audience for these things anymore. Coming to that realization today was a depressing thought. I had a great time watching for sure and I'm excited to have a lot of new fans joining the fandom!

I'm not sure if this movie cracks the top 5 of my favorite turtles but it's up there for sure. I give it a solid 7/10.

I think both of us would enjoy one of those croissants that don't really have anything at random moments. Either as part of breakfast, as a midday snack or as something to take when going out - it's always soft and the flavour is not that strong so I'm sure Welt is buying some for us with that in mind. yup, something soft and sweet that isn't too much in terms of flavour sounds about right

Of course we do, I bring her clothes for her dolls or random things that I know will catch her attention and be to her liking, like maybe a little goat plushie or some kit to grow up flowers. After she learns a bit of writing, she'd try to send me letters while I'm studying in the city although most of the space in the letter will probably end up being taken by a drawing. Not complaining, though, they're the cutest. Caught up with the BNHA Anime again and was like eh why not make a little chart of my opinions on BNHA ships. Whatever!! Misc. Opinions/basic thoughts on each under the cut

Shindeku:

This one's my fav tbh. They haven't interacted too too much but of course I always pick a somewhat rare pair to be my fav. I think their personalities work well together and I want to see some casual friend time between them before the series ends, PLEASE.... Also AU potential for if Deku joined general studies at UA. I also like that their quirks would make a very cool Hero team possibility.

MirioDeku:

Sunshine guy / crybaby dynamic yipee [yeah i know it works better with Tamaki but I don't really like him. Sorry.] Also the fact that their birthday is on the same day is SO cute??? I think their interactions in canon are fun. I'm never a big fan of "child character adopts younger child character" but I think the two of them make a good "big brothers" dynamic for Eri. I think early Mirio/Deku can give Deku more motivation to be strong [as if he needs it] and a source of positivity is nice.

[Also no I don't care that Mirio is 18. they're 2-3 years apart. Its not that deep. I'm 23 and dating a 20 year old. They are two years apart in school, and its not that big a gap in maturity. Its fine.]

RodyDeku:

Not pictured above but I wanna talk about it anyway. I haven't seen the movie since it was in theaters BUT I LOVE THESE TWO??? Speaking of fun dynamics and characters that get along well. Ough. Also Rody's quirk makes very fun possibilities for fanart and fanfiction.

BakuOcha:

Yeah you might have figured out I lean towards ships in shonen where the main starter point for the ship was "that one time they beat the shit out of each other". I think the sports festival battle put this one in my head, its the fact that Bakugo respected Uraraka enough to not underestimate her and actually use her name that got me. I also think their personalities work better then say, Deku and Bakugo, because Uraraka was NOT childhood friends with Bakugo.

DekuOcha:

Let's be real, its the canon ship. Its what is going to be end game, even if you don't want it to. So its going to have cute moments, and even though I don't want this ship to be canon, its going to be, so I'm going to enjoy the cute moments they have. These characters are literally written to be each others crushes so you really don't have to argue for it. I do like Uraraka better then say, a character like Sakura [Naruto], because she isn't just blindly going for a character who she thinks is hot and throws away a lot of other things just for the one guy[I could go into a Sakura Rant but Not Today]. Uraraka has distinct dreams and goals and personality! [Although that's not to say I love her- I think she could be better and female characters in this show are repeatedly designed and written in ways I loathe but that rant is for another day]

DekuMei:

They're nerds that can rant together. Yeah that's pretty much it sfdbjfds. Support course Deku is a fun possibility AU for this ship as well!

IidaDeku:

Once again, nerds. But Iida and Deku are different types of nerds so that's a fun dynamic. Also the whole fight against Stain, but I think the ship kinda drops for me the further into the show we get. The scene in Season 6 was nice though.

TogaOcha:

Yeah this is just because of that one panel in the Manga. What can I say, I'm not immune to "I love your smile" and "Your the cutest girl in the world" even though I don't know the context.

BakuDeku:

Honestly if I watched this show when I was like 12 I probably would have liked this ship. This isn't saying only 12 year olds watch this show, this is saying that I shipped Sasuke and Naruto as a Kid and this is this generations version of that. Albeit I still ship Sasuke and Naruto, but BakuDeku has a much different dynamic. I love that Bakugo and Deku are starting to be friends, but I like their dynamic to stay that way- I don't like them as a romantic pair, but I think they're fantastic rivals. I don't think they work romantically, because for the most part what I've seen of romantic works featuring them waters down their personalities. Its hard to write them in a canon supporting way together, and I think both characters have much better options.

DekuToga:

They really haven't interacted much, and I see Toga as much more just liking Deku [and a few others, including Uraraka] from a starstruck way. She doesn't really know him, but becuase she's always been shunned for her quirk, she doesn't know how to handle her feelings. I like Toga with Uraraka because I have seen them interact more and I think there's more basis there. Also to point out the obvious reason I don't like this ship for those that know me: I don't like Yanderes. Toga is very close to that trope, and a lot of the fanart of DekuToga is Yandere related. No thanks.

Misc: Dekubowl

I don't actually ship this but I think its funny if more then one person takes interest in Deku and has a sort of rivalry over it. Its silly and fun.

OVERALL: Shipping is silly and fun and If you disagree feel free to say so, I really don't care! Its fine! As long as you aren't being rude I'd even love to chat about opinions! I might make more notes on pairings in the future, or maybe not, we'll see lmao.

I think this is a good example to explain what i mean by "this is becoming one of My AUs" 😂

This one is for the various Tigress Adopts AUs (Kung Fu Panda)

I decided i would prefer if Tigress adopted another cat, one thats medium to extra large sized (like her). So i found out every cat and/or cat subspecies currently native to China. Then i had to find pictures because i didnt know what they looked like, and the pictures had to show me the full body (which is actually not easy to find). Then i realized i couldnt tell the cat's height in all these photos, so i looked up how long each cat was. AND THEN i found out half of the measurements included the tail so i had to look everything up AGAIN and in some cases do the math, guess based on the tail, and metric to imperial conversions myself. So i have that done. I realize to calculate the height of the animal standing on its back legs i need its leg measurements. GOOGLE AGAIN. Then i do the math (shoulder height + body length = standing upright height).

(This is before i added the shoulder height and double checked the math)

I google giant panda and do the math again but for Po. Pandas are 7-8ft tall when standing upright. We know Po is taller than Tigress, which would mean she would have to be a small Indochinese or South China tiger. I chose South China because they're smaller (7ft).

Now i have a base measurement - 7ft. I choose the cats i think will be around that size and calculate their minimum and maximum heights (based off both male and female heights).

Eurasian lynx

Clouded leopard

Asian golden cat

I then made a graph

(Po would be 8ft if Tigress is 7ft, so pretend Po has a solid line and not dotted at the top)

At this point i have no idea how many hours have gone into this. At least 3 was dedicated just to finding the measurements and doing the math (which may or may not be correct. Im notoriously bad at math and who knows if the measurements were right in the first place 🤷🏼‍♀️)

I decided to eliminate all the minimum heights (too short). And ended up eliminating Asian Golden Cat, but i dont know which cat to choose yet. Tbh i think its gonna come down to looking at baby pics and choosing the cutest one

And i did all this for a AU in my head i have absolutely no intention of writing at all outside of bullet points. Thats what i mean by "my AUs"

He likes bread so much bc he and his mama would bake bread on the weekends

Kento doesn't know why, but hearing his dad say that made him really emotional and he had to excuse himself from the room for a minute

He kinda wants his family to move with him when he retires because he wants them all together in a relaxing place

He knows that's probably impractical, but he likes the idea of coming together for a family dinner every weekend
