So... I recently played a lot of a certain game and I feel so emotionally invested that I really have to mention it.
I rarely get the urge to rant nowadays (as one might have noticed) but this just really hit home when I didn't expect it to.
I'm talking about Tyrion Cuthbert: Attorney of the Arcane.
YES, it is an Ace Attorney clone. And YES it does have striking similarities but it's story and characters function in a MUCH different way than Ace Attorney does.
Its setting is probably the most different. It involves magic and yes while it does seem weird to put magic in a game that involves a lot of logic, trust me, it makes sense.
You're placed in a world where aristocracy/monarchy rules the kingdom of Wyverngarde. The playable character is Tyrion Cuthbert who is a very young defense attorney who takes up a murder trial as his first case. The defendant is a young girl and the victim a part of her family. Sound familiar? TRUST ME the story gets MUCH MORE wicked later on.
You're facing leaders of noble houses and trying to correct the injustice that this faulty system has. Nobles always kind of get away with crimes by pulling some strings whereas the common folk have to pay for those crimes.
The involvement of magic is pretty simple. Magic leaves traces at crime scenes which lets you assume which spells were used. Each spell has certain physical laws that they work under such as gestures, incantations, durations, and other restrictions. Each person has a spell compendium that tells you what kinds of spells they know.
It really isn't that complex, but the story does have everything you can ask for. Dramatical twists, confrontations, character development, supernatural creatures and beings, evil masterminds, and MY favorite... ACTUALLY GOOD ROMANTIC SUBPLOT.
It's a fantastic game with a playtime of roughly 30 hours and I was really excited that insaneintherainmusic was involved in making the soundtrack for this game.
If you don't know them, they're the ones responsible for a lot of good Pokemon remixes. It's worth checking out for sure!

Looking at the patch notes for patch 5! This is the first set of patch notes I've actively paid attention to and man, it's fucking huge!
Honestly, reading through this, I am just mind-boggled all over again about the scale and ambition of this game. Obviously there were (and probably still are) quite a few bugs, unexpected interactions, etc., but Larian have worked their fucking tails off to make a fully functional automated D&D combat system and a story that has a monumental amount of potential variables, and speaking as a programmer it makes my head hurt just thinking about all of the moving parts that must be involved in making this work.
And they seem to be blasting through fixes at an incredible rate too. This is a good development team who seem to have a brilliant combination of technical know-how, good humor, community-mindedness, and passion for their source material, and I'm incredibly impressed even in the short amount of time that I've been playing the game so far.
Obviously I already knew about the addition of the epilogues, which it sounds like makes the ending much more satisfying overall, but some other things that stuck out to me:
"While at camp, you can now access and manage the inventories of companions who aren't in your active party." Yesssss; this has been one of the more annoying aspects of the game up to this point.
"You can now sell and barter items inside containers when trading." This will simplify things for me given I have a System involving Karlach and Shadowheart each carrying a Bag Of Crap to sell.
"Improved grouping and sorting of items in containers while trading." Please tell me this means all the dyes will finally be grouped together when I try to buy them for hoarding.
"A romanced Minthara can now refer to her bond with you using a drow word for deep, unbreakable love." Minthara is probably coming a good deal later in priority on my playthroughs but this is cute.
"Withers will sneakily resurrect any dead companions that fell before the final battle so they can join the ending cinematics. What a helpful skeleton." Good job, Withers.
"The loading screen art now unlocks gradually as you progress through the game." That's a neat touch.
"Fixed occasional T-poses and frozen animations related to the Incapacitated condition." No more T-posing drunk goblins!
"Fixed the combat UI not automatically skipping to the next available party member after a controlled character dies." I think this was why Hector's whole party almost died to the Selune lasers. XD
"Two new play modes: Honour Mode and Custom Mode." No idea what that implies at all but I'm intrigued. More content!
"Improved Astarion's Ascendant route at-will gnome kiss for masculine body types." This is not relevant to any playthrough I'm currently doing but just reinforces what I was talking about above, regarding the incredible number of variables this game juggles (for the most part super successfully).
Also quite a lot of updates that just made me laugh:
"Boo will no longer take damage when thrown."
"When players start a combat inside the Elfsong Tavern, all the patrons will now cower instead of continuing to drink."
"You can no longer use the awesome force of bombs to flip the switch behind the final door in the Gauntlet of Shar to force the door to open."
"You can no longer loot the entire inventory of unconscious traders - instead you have access to a limited selection, as with dead traders. Nice try, pacifists."
"Added the intensely satisfying 'Ahhh' sound for players who Short Rest using a keybind rather than a UI button."
"Shar is now aware of Shadowheart's actions even if she is using Disguise Self."
"Using the lift in the House of Healing when in Turn-Based Mode no longer causes it to loop between floors indefinitely upon exiting Turn-Based Mode."
"Fixed a rare bug where Halsin would decide to turn into a bear whenever you went to talk to him at camp in the Shadow-Cursed Lands."

a buncha headshot portraits! three out of five portraits, i'm finishing up the last two c: the sketches here are from way back in august/september, and i fiddled with them for some weeks on end trying to make Something out of them, then proceeded to frustratedly shelf the lot of them away. so it's nice to see at least these three all finished up now :') and they were really nice to work on too ;v;
but ohoho okay, this is a lot of announcements in one single post, so bear with me a moment :3c
here's a tl;dr first:
1) headshot portraits as a new commission option maybe? :0ccc
2) commissions are opening again on monday, jan. 23rd!
3) separate commission info webpage for reading convenience (particularly for folks on mobile)
4) commission rules changes: payment in full & upfront, rather than half-and-half
5) two-slots-per-person rule will be no more and folks are free to send as many orders as they want, but any ones after the second will go into the queue instead
6) also a small change with unoccupied queue slots

so, i've been thinking about adding this sort of portrait as a commission option!! fairly simple compositions but fully rendered (because i darn love painting so much; cellshading is nice and all, but coloring it all in one layer is just... heart-eyes), on the big 2600px to 3800px canvases as well c: and i'm thinking of pricing commissions like these at 28 USD (feels like a good price but i'm accepting feedback on that — the point was to add something that's just straight up fully-rendered, but for the lower end of the pricetable, and the limitations of a headshot portrait feel fitting enough on both sides ;v; )
also portraits like these are fairly quick to draw, so the turnaround time would be fairly short! add to it that 1) these are fun, 2) i could use focusing on just the face and expressions rather than elaborate poses and all, 3) portraiture lighting my beloved, and 4) these are painted, and don't take forever to figure out or paint. :D
but yeah, let me know what you think of the headshot portrait option!! would you folks be interested in something like this? :0c
and now hold on a moment, i have more things to say!! xD
commissions are reopening monday, jan. 23rd, at the usual 5pm BRT (UTC -3:00)!
6 active slots (previously known as regular slots; can't believe it's taken me years to figure out a better way of calling these orz), as well as another 24 slots on queue. these will remain open until further notice; money's tight right now, hence the lack of closing date :')
there should be plenty of slots either way tho, so no rush at all! but i apologize for the super short notice orz
also, i went and got all the commission info on a separate webpage on wix instead. here you go!
should be easier to access and read through stuff, particularly on mobile — or at least i sincerely hope it is, please leave me feedback if you can!!! let me know if you encounter Problems, i've looked and combed through every bit of these four (4) pages but i might have missed stuff still, pretty please let me know if you run into any Issues! ;-;
but yeah, the website has all the rules and info and all the different options as well, with extra examples and all. on monday, you'll also be able place orders directly through there, i made a little form and all c': technically the form is already there but pls don't send requests yet, i can't reserve slots ahead of time!
also also, and these are the last things i've got to say, i promise (and thank you if you've read this far!),
a couple commission rules are changing!
1) from this new batch onwards, i'll be charging commissions in full & upfront instead of the half-half system i'd been doing up until this point. the exception is if an order exceeds $80 USD; for those ones we'll return to the half-before-sketch + half-once-finished situation instead!
but how's that? :0c i hope this is alright, but please let me know if this would make commissions just... unaffordable ;o; i do really like the half-half system, and i'd rather keep it, but it's either this or raising prices, and i don't think i can do that yet :T either way, please let me know your thoughts on the matter!!
2) the only-two-slots-per-person rule will no longer be in effect, so go ham with multiple orders if you wish on monday — the caveat is that i'll still be working only on two orders at a time per person, so if you order three things, the third one will be placed at the end of the queue c:
looking back i could've... done this from the beginning. orz it should be more convenient to send multiple orders if you have 'em!
and finally, 3) if the queue list hits its closing date with slots still available, folks who have already ordered and would like to get in the queue again can go on and grab those empty queue slots if they want, instead of being limited to two slots per person per batch, and then having to wait for an entire new batch.
i opened this exception for the last round of commissions (thank you once again to the folks who wanted repeats ;-; ) so i thought i should just make it into a proper thing instead, since it does make sense to do it anyway — the queue list is purposefully filled with a ton of slots, then left open for weeks on end to make sure everyone interested can get their orders in, so letting folks claim those remaining slots after the deadline sounds fine ;v;
that being said, there won't be a deadline for this monday's batch, so this bit technically doesn't change anything xD but i thought i should mention the New Thing #6!

while i'm pretty set on most of these (specially the full-upfront-payment bit — again, money's tight orz), i'm still definitely open to feedback, and to change things if something doesn't work for you folks!! please do share your thoughts on it, or send a note if you'd rather!! and let me know if you have any questions too ;v;

1. How many works do you have on Ao3?
193 as of now! Wow that's more than I thought I'd have.
2. What's your total Ao3 word count?
1,537,974! That's about what I expected actually xD
3. What fandoms do you write for?
Well I got dragged into the Danny Phantom fandom recently as I'm sure you all can tell. The show was actually a really big part of my childhood, but this is the first time I've been actively in the fandom, go figure! Of course I'm still in the Sanders Sides fandom, and I'm back once again in the Phineas and Ferb fandom, still chipping away at that long fic I've been working on for a while.
4. What are your top 5 fics by kudos?
These aren't too surprising to me, as they're also my fics with the most hits.
5. You Just Didn't Notice with 349 kudos (dear god please don't go find that one it's from so long ago I can't bear to look at it).
4. Warm with 356 kudos! I think this is the touch starved light sides au I wrote! Yeah I'm still fond of that one
3. By Any Other Name has 365 kudos! Still think fondly of my time writing that one, it was so fun.
2. Consequences with 420 kudos! Honestly I'm a little surprised this one is in my top 5 I guess a lot of people just really liked it.
Protector! Yeah, no surprises here. This one seriously blew up on me, it's got more hits than any other work I've ever posted on AO3. 504 kudos!
5. Do you respond to comments?
Sure do! I make an effort to respond to every single one I get if I can, unless I just cannot for the life of me think of anything to say. And I do read all of them, rest assured that even if all you get is a "Thank you!" that I loved and appreciated your comment, and that I mean those "Thank you"s every time.
6. What is the fic you wrote with the angstiest ending?
Honestly, I'm not sure, most of my fics tend towards happier endings, even if the time before that sucks ass for everyone involved. I could pick any number of one shots from series, but I'm not sure those count as complete stories, since most of one shot series do actually tell a story. Oh you know what, I'm looking through my stuff and it's "Denied Reconciliation" for Roleslaying With Roman. Yeah nothing's getting better in that one.
7. What's the fic you wrote with the happiest ending?
This might sound weird for anyone who's read the fic, but in my mind I think it might be Protector? I listen to "Carry On" by Fun whenever I think about the ending for that fic because it fits the vibe so well, and because that's what the ending is about. Everyone is going to move on and live their lives to the fullest. Not everything's going to be sunshine and rainbows, but the characters don't want that anyway. They get to work to fix things and they have a chance for a really good and full and fulfilling life coming for them. What's happier than that?
8. Do you get hate on fics?
Not really, actually, I'm very fortunate in that everyone seems to get that I'm just trying to share stories I love writing for fandoms and characters that I love. Thanks to all my readers, y'all are the best!
9. Do you write smut? If so, what kind?
Nope! Not necessarily because I'm completely opposed to the idea, I have technically written a couple makeout fics, but when it comes to smut I feel like I'm too ace to know what I'm doing xD
10. Do you write crossovers? What's the craziest one you've written?
I don't, mostly just cause they don't scratch my brain in the way that inspires writing for me. I've read some really amazing ones and I definietly come up with some in my head from time to time, but I'm not sure I'll ever actually write one.
11. Have you ever had a fic stolen?
Thankfully no, or at least not that I know of.
13. Have you ever co-written a fic before?
Yep! I'm currently writing and co-posting Defense Mechanisms with VorpalGirl on AO3, and I brainstorm enough with her and with my QPP @mishiitake-mushrooms that I end up putting them in the author's notes with credit quite a bit, and in my mind, that counts!
14. What's your all-time favourite ship?
Honestly I don't ship nearly as much as I used to. This may be a bit of a cop-out answer, but I find myself getting way more invested in sibling dynamics lately. I'm loving writing about Phineas and Ferb and Candace in my long fic, and Danny and Jazz in my new AU. Even in Sanders Sides, I'm tending more towards Roman and Remus lately, and of course brotherly dukexiety will have my heart until the end of everything. If I had to pick one, it would probably honestly be Elizabeth and Mr. Darcy in Pride and Prejudice? Kind of an out of left field answer, but I love how much both of them change in the book and I love how their romance is handled. Jane Austen is good at romance, I know, hot take.
15. What's a WIP you want to finish but doubt you ever will?
I have a Light Side Virgil AU where Virgil was a light side from the start that I still absolutely love, but I'm not sure I'll finish at this point. I still want to, I've just got so much going on that it's going to be a while if I ever get to it.
16. What are your writing strengths?
Dialogue and plot! Sometimes I write what I jokingly refer to as my "stick two characters in a room together" fics where I do exactly that and just let them talk to each other. It's some of my favorite writing to do, actually. And I absolutely adore getting to plan and figure out plots and watch everything as it comes together as I write. Story epiphanies are the best.
17. What are your writing weaknesses?
I struggle a bit with action scenes, since character and dialogue are my strong suit writing characters just doing a whole bunch of stuff is difficult (especially if it's a fight scene, woof.)
18. Thoughts on writing dialogue in another language for a fic?
I am definitely not strong enough in any languages other than maybe French to pull it off, but I think it's really cool when people do it!
19. First fandom you wrote for?
My Little Pony Friendship is Magic. I was 12 no you can't see them.
20. Favorite fic you've written?
I'm not sure I have one, honestly? I have this thing that happens where I put all of my excitement and energy into whatever fic I'm currently writing xD
I do definitely have a couple that are very close to my heart for various reasons, though. Protector was my first fic that went over 100,000 words, and for that as well as numerous other reasons I'm very proud of it! Hope With Me turned out almost exactly how I pictured it in my head which is, like, crazy to me. I did a shit ton of math I'm really proud of for Three Minutes Less. I did coding for Seeking Advice. I wrote a bit about how I think aplatonicism would work in Friendship is Magic in Same Conclusion, which is the one MLP fic from me you get to see.
I don't know, I don't really want to name a favorite fic I've ever written, that takes away the possibility that I could still write it in the future! And yeah, I get the question is really asking "favorite fic so far," but... I don't know, I like too many of my fics for different reasons. I hope that's not too much of a cop-out answer.

May I hear about your Kyrie fic?
Oh, hello, Ember! Thank you for all the work you've been doing and all the awesome questions! I love reading them and discussing the ideas with my friends.
Gonna put this under a break because it might be a little lengthy.
Uh, this is going to be a weird and convoluted explanation because I have no clue how to shorten this. Please bear with me. The fic itself isn't Kyrie-centric, but she's a major part of it and I wanted to catch her side of the story with a song that had gotten released recently by Madds Buckley that fit the theme of it well.
I've been on like a super big brainrot train after not being in the fandom for like 10 years (I'd only ever played DMC4 before). I'm a super big fan of Dadgil content, and at some point I joked about the concept of the DMC4 events but if Nero had been raised by Vergil and was working with the Devil May Cry crew.
Well, me joking ends up with me doing 90% of the time, and now I have an extensive AU(unnamed, currently. A few hundred-thousand words in total) that has those hypothetical DMC4 events as the last multi-chapter fic of the series. I don't know if/when I'll ever post them since it's absolutely self-indulgent nonsense, but I appreciate the interest!
Kyrie in the story is very much like her canon counterpart. Though because Nero wasn't there to protect her she's grown wary of the Order's odd behavior as of late. In the fic she struggles to keep hold of her faith and it gets challenged moreso because Nero knows who he is. She also plays a more active role in the story, for reasons that I don't want to drop in case I do end up posting once most of the fic is good to go.
I would have answered sooner, but in true fanfic author fashion my house just got broken into when I got the notif for your ask xD We're safe and nothing was stolen, so don't be too worried on our behalf.

Yes exactly! When he was bearing the weight of being a peace-advocating member of the Shambali, accidentally hurting anyone would've been such a nightmare for him. It only matters now in that he doesn't want to hurt you, the repercussions on which Reader has pretty outright stated are none since they understand that accidents happen.
Hahaha, honestly I think the reason I didn't finish it was because someone had proposed the original EY prompt in my askbox and that kind of set off a chain of events that meant EVERYTHING got tabled until EY was finished.

Spooktober idea's
Bear with me, but I'm going to try and return by trying to beat my writer's block by picking up my writings, including some unfinished requests from my event. My life has been so chaotic since my summer vacation that it is just so crazy! I hope things settle down soon but I can't promise I will be fully back.
Bút with spooky month just around the corner, me into watching Destination Fear and not able to stop thinking about demon!Xiao, demon!Childe and demon!Heizou, I decided to use those themes to write a few things for October (it will be posted in October, in spooky month.) And decided to pitch those idea's with all of you. So, feel free to let me know what you think etc! (Because tbh I am excited to write some thriller / horror stuff ^.^)
A little more info about the concepts can be found underneath:
First concept:
Visiting and investigating haunted places in a more psychological way aka how Destination Fear is about but instead with the crew, it will be 3 genshin men x female reader. You guy's can suggest the places and I will do research on those (ex: searching information on the internet, looking for clips of people that have visited the place, people sharing their experiences etc and based on those things I will write around it.)
Now, of course I need to choose 3 genshin men for this and had a few men in mind and this would be the team (but please! Feel free to suggest other characters, because obviously I am favoring certain characters xD):
- Childe, the funny and joking one of the group but the one that would scream the loudest when he's alone and something happens, to afterward deny it all when watching the footage because after all, he is the 'bravest' of everyone. But would totally be the one that would provoke for interaction and when entities toy with him he is the type to react back to it etc (but still screams the loudest.)
- Xiao, the cameraman who follows the others. The more quiet one as he just does his job but does interact with the team. The one that attracts the (dark) energy and / or activity when he is on his own (cameraman or not, he will also be sent out on his own.)
- Heizou, the one that does the research on beforehand (and the only one that knows all the information and shares it the moment they arrive at the location to keep the others anticipated on purpose )
- Female!Reader, the more cynical person on the team, always tries to find a logical explanation for everything, she doesn't like to be sent out alone. Still, when things happen and she can't explain it, she does interact with the sounds/noises/interaction etc.
Second concept:
Three different fics / storylines possible to turn into a short series of drabbles, fics etc. Xiao, Childe and Heizou will all be a demon, better known as princes of Hell.
- Demon Xiao aka Alatus third prince of Hell
- Demon Childe aka Ajax / Tartaglia (I need to decide which one), first prince of Hell
- Demon Heizou, also his prince of hell name, second prince of hell.
All three are based on different songs,
• Xiao's one is based a bit on Slenderman's Lullaby and Rings around the Rosie(fun fact, it's apparantly not a children's song as it has in fact a dark history and the song is based on the plague.) But I couldn't find a better fitting song for Xiao.
• Childe's one is based on the song "Blue Knees" which comes from the horror game "MaDiSoN" (a really good game!!) But it will have a bit of an adjustment(as I will use a bit of the lore and song lyrics from the game itself), instead of Blue Knees, it's gonna be Blue Eyes (bc Childe has blue eyes.)
• Heizou's song is 'Hide and Seek' the English translation sung by Lizz Robinett (I love the song, but the original (by Ho-ong-i & and sung by SeeU in Korean.) is a little bit better imo, but the translation explains the story of the song.)

Psycho: *screeches to a stop, before proudlu extending his cupped hands to her* Look at the bug I found! :D
Poppy: *immediately forgets what she was worried about* Oh my gosh! Is that a German roach? From the human side of town!? Where did you find this little guy???
*they proceed to enter bug talk mode for the next three hours*

Smartass, stressed out and grumbling about all the paperwork he has to do: *notices some kind of presence coming towards his desk* Psycho, if 'ya try'ta eat the pens again-
Poppy: Oh, no. It's just me.
Smartass: *glances briefly in acknowledgment before getting back to work trusting Poppy not to cause trouble*
Poppy: I know you don't like to be disturbed while you're in your office, but-
Smartass: *rolling his eyes* Of all the- What's Greasy up to now?
Poppy: No no! There's no trouble. I actually came here to offer you this. *places cup of tea on desk*
Poppy: A nice warm drink always makes me feel better. I didn't know what flavor you liked, but you can't go wrong with chamomile ^^
Smartass: ... doesn't know how to respond
Smartass: *takes a sip before focusing back on his papers*
Poppy: *smiles at him before walking away again*

Poppy, frantically looking for everybody: *sees Stupid* Stu! Where's Psycho?
Stupid: Duh... Doing stuff.
Poppy: *dread increasing* O-Ok... Where's Wheezy?
Stupid: Trying to stop Psycho from doing stuff.
Poppy: Oh good lord... Um... Where's Greasy?
Stupid: Trying to stop Wheezy from stopping Psycho from doing stuff.
Poppy: Wh-What about Smartass?
Stupid: He's trying to stop Greasy from stopping Wheezy from stopping Psycho doing stuff.
Poppy: O-O
Poppy: Um... What are you doing then?
Stupid: Oh! I'm supposed to be stopping you from helping the boss stop Greasy from stopping Wheezy from stopping Psycho doing stuff! Greasy told me ^^

I can't think of an interaction, so here's a headcannon: Poppy is afraid of thunderstorms. It's mainly the loud thunder not being a good thing for her sensitive hearing, but a lot of her cartoons also included thunder, so it brings back bad memories. And Wheezy has this sixth sense where he just knows what the weather is going to be. So when they became friends, Wheezy started letting Poppy know if there was a storm on the rise so at least it wouldn't come as a complete surprise to her. Poppy appreciates it a lot ^^

And Smartass' was Awwwww whereas Greasy's was Awwww?
Psycho holding the bug was actually kind of sweet! It's nice to have unconventional bonding activities!

So, uh, hi? Long time no see!
IT'S LEGIT BEEN FIVE YEARS HASN'T IT HAHAHAHAHAHA
So a lot of stuff has happened since I left - in short order:
~DeviantArt went to shit and got a confusing new look which I didn't gel with, so I left. Afterwards, I pretty much exclusively used Twitter...up until you-know-what happened just recently. So now I'm back here!
~I ended up getting a new drawing tablet and have pretty much quit using pencils and paper entirely. I used GIMP for the first year or so that I had the tablet, but now I've got Krita, and it's SO much easier to work with! Highly recommended!
~I realized I may be trans??? Blame Snapchat. XD
And, uh, WOW THINGS HAVE CHANGED. I have no idea where anything is at the moment; please bear with me as I sort things out XD
In the meantime, I hope anyone who still remembers me on here is looking forward to me being active again sometime in the future! (Near future, probably, if Elon Muskrat tanks Twitter enough LOL)

You made a fanfic about Mirabel being bullied and Julieta's reaction to it. But what if there was another bully that was far worse? They would start off by calling her names which escalated to physical violence.
The bully was smart and would make sure Dolores and other family members was distracted by their chores before tourmenting poor Mirabel. They were eventually cought tho. Like Mirabel came home all bruised up and was seen by her family. She tried to brush it off but no one believed her. Cue all of them marching to the bully's house, Julieta being at the front, furious. I'm pretty sure the situation would be even worse when they found out the bully was a boy....mama bear Julieta mode activate.
I guess it would be much later because I don't think a 6yo kid would be that cruel and violent. But if it was a few years later – at 10, 11, 12yo, then yeah, I think it may be a possibility?
Then, I think it would begin with Antonio's birth and saying that he'd surely get his gift because his side of the family isn't broken and it's obvious whose kid he is, so there is no doubt he's a Madrigal and because of that, he would get his gift.
Mirabel is a cheerful girl who's a little sad her family is very busy and everyone has something to do, but she has Antonio and she fell in love with him as soon as she saw him, so she can't say she's bored. She looks after him, thus bonds with Pepa's family more and is always there when Julieta takes care of Antonio because it means getting to know more about babies because Julieta is more willing to answer any questions Mirabel may have than Pepa is lol.
(Please, someone give me a fic where Mirabel, enamoured with baby Antonio, asks her parents for a little sister XD Luisa and Isabela would be "no, thank you", but Mirabel would be so excited at the possibility lol)
But still, Mirabel is a happy girl. Until there is someone who decides this happiness does not fit the giftless Madrigal. Because surely, not having a gift in such a family must be a nightmare and her family must secretly despise her for that. So, that bully would start with words, aiming to hurt her or to make her cry. Maybe Dolores would actually hear it and appear once st the scene, which would make the bully stop for a while until they realize how to continue the bullying without Dolores knowing.
So the weeks/months pass, Mirabel is fairly happy again, but then the bully strikes again, now not only with words, but with some pushing or pulling on her hair, or taking her things/glasses from her. They'd claim it's just for fun, and that she shouldn't be so uptight but it stops being funny quickly. Instead, Mirabel starts being uncomfortable and someone in the family notices that she lacks a smile when she's going to school and she always was so happy about it. They ask Camilo, but the bully is kinda smart and never does those things near Camilo. So Camilo doesn't know about any of it and when he asks Mirabel, she brushes him off.
Things get physical but Mirabel still pretends it's alright, she doesn't want to worry her family, especially her mama, so she tries to sneak into the kitchen for some arepas but then a toddler Antonio sees her, and he's ecstatic, and he runs into her, and since he's still a clumsy baby, he pulls on her clothes a little too hard and her injuries are uncovered OR he runs into the bruised part of her body and it alarms some of the adults, they ask Mirabel if she's okay. She says she is. No one believes her and someone (Pepa/Julieta/Abuela) demands her to show what made her so uncomfortable. She doesn't want to, but there comes someone (for example Isa) who's fed up with her being so stubborn and secretive, so she just forcibly removes her skirt/shirt and there are many bruises and scratches on Mirabel's skin, and some blood little stains from being pushed on something (a fence, bricks (they scratch awfully), maybe glass).
The fam asks what happened, Mirabel claims she was just her clumsy self, but then Dolores steps in and asks, very calmly, if that bully started doing it again.
And the hell breaks loose.
Pepa has to be held back by an evenly angry-looking Felix, Alma remembers the time Bruno was bullied as well, and Julieta's eyes just become ice-cold. She warms up when talking, very calmly, to Mirabel and asking her to give her names. Then she manages to calm Pepa down, and, I imagine, together with Agustin and Alma (and maybe Dolores, since she has some info and people know she never lies in those matters), they pay a visit to the bully's family. And well, have you thought Pepa's fierce temper is something to be terrified of? Julieta's ice-cold gaze and an equally even ice-cold voice would give you shivers every time. The bully sees her in the town at her stand? Her warm smile immediately disappears and her expression becomes cold when she looks at the bully only to morph back into a warm smile when her attention snaps to other people. She heals them, of course she does, but there's no warmth in her eyes when she gives them her food. She doesn't say anything, just stares and when the bully thanks her, terrified, she just nods in acknowledgement.
It kinda terrifies not only the bullies but the townspeople as well, even if her anger isn't directed at them lol
LOL, I basically wrote a long summary of a fic that doesn't even exist XD

now let me says some of my theories to contribute in this humans-are-weird train. What if the Aliens do not know what origami is? and they only fold some designed papers like origami for funeral or birth? then one of the human crew members like to make origami, and ends up making them most of the time, like paper stars or paper planes, paper cranes etc etc...

hello there GA(I'm using the Galactic Assembly inspired @starr-fall-knight-rise he is an awesome and epic writer and funny too, go red his works and give him more attention peeps) as you know my name is Kallos, My species and I have recruited a few humans to the ship three moon cycles ago or three human “monts” ago. And my fellow species and I might have found a new thing that humans do, might want to update it to the Human-user-guide-Manual. so the story goes like this.
I was heading up to the commander’s office, around the time humans are resting in their nests. so I was walking as quiet as I can since I do not want to startle the humans rest. while I was walking, I noticed that a human wasn't resting and was instead sitting at the cafeteria chatting with a flat thing(??) they call “Smartphones” oh right! I haven't write to you about it General, but I will after I finish this report.
and one thing that caught me attention of the human is not the “smartphone” but a small folded in weird shapes thing. At that moment I thought that one of his relative must've passed (I'm not comfortable with using the word “died” or “die” so bear with me :’)) and thought to myself maybe I will prove my sorrows for his lost after I pass up the report to the Commander.
once i reached the Commander office, I saw a human sitting beside him. human-Eugene was holding a piece of paper, and Commander was holding one too. following Human-Eugene's words and rhythm, they folded the paper. I actually at that moment did not understand, why was commander learning to fold papers when we don't really need it?
and I accidentally tripped. and they saw me.
soon Human-Eugene told me about this paper folding activity humans do called “O-LI-GA-MI”(????) and they do it mostly for FUN, or to wish people who are sick to get better. but they mostly do it for FUN. THEY DO THIS, THE RITUAL WE MAKE TO CELEBRATE A BIRTH OF MY SPECIES, OR A DEATH OF MY SPECIES IS SEEN AS A FUN ACTIVITY. AND EVEN COMMANDER IS TAKING PART IN IT-

Greetings. I'm here for your dream interpretation game!
The last dream i had was quite confusing. .
I first had friends over, and we played pranks on each other. Water balloons, twisters, board games, after a long active day you know. I was almost dying from laughter xD
Then my boyfriend came. It's been 4 months since we date. We haven't been texting as much because we are busy people, im studying, he is working.. So he came with a neon cap on, a camouflage t shirt and black shorts, his hair was long and a bit curly, just like i remembered but he seemed taller with a stronger build. He had a bit of a concerned look as i hugged him and told him that i missed him.
He said that "But baby, if you purr at me like that with other people around, what am I to do with you?" I was like "I don't care, I missed you!" and snuggled further.
The day after this dream I dreamt of him again but I don't remember much, we hugged again there. When I told him about this dream, he told me he missed me so much as well. But sometimes I feel apathetic, sometimes full of love like in this dream. What could that be?
In exchange, I'd like to rely on my intuition and give you a small reading..

the fact that you remembered so much about the clothes is interesting! so although you two seemed distanced right now, the fact that he was taller and had a stronger build in your dream could mean that you two will be together in the future!
the neon cap indicates he would be wiser or aspiring higher education/going after his dreams which would make sense if he's older when you meet (again). he may reappear or become more present when life feels good since you were interacting with friends in the beginning.

I should tell something about myself, hmm..
Others would describe me as shy but friendly nonetheless. They are right about that, but what many do not know is the sacrifice with which I look after my loved ones and my loyalty to them. If I really trust and love a person, I would move mountains if possible to help that them. Sometimes I go so far that it is not so good for my own health.
But I am always there for my loved ones and can be very patient if necessary.
Quite I'm also a clumsy girl. Wherever and whenever I can, I run into doors, furniture, trip over my own feet and many more. XD
I'm not religious, but I believe in fate. I think everyone has their own destiny and is guided by it. But we can still take the destiny into our own hands.
(Remember: everyone can follow their own belief! This is the way I see things and I am perfectly fine if others do not share this opinion with me! =) )
Now something about my hobbies.
In addition to reading and drawing, I also do origami or do various things. This is also the reason why my loved ones always get something I have made by myself for their birthday!
Thanks to my love for nature, I like to go for a walk in the fresh air, regardless of whether if it is wind, rain or snowfall. The bonus of the walk is also that I can take photos. I love to take photos of the nature and never miss a chance for a good picture! =3
But my absolute favorite hobby is and will always be playing video games! There is no way around it for me, thehe! ^^ I'm quite a nerd about that sort of thing. I've even gone so far that I've already played almost every genre. However, my heart beats for adventure and jump and run games!
I would never say no to play games together! ^^
Things i like..
Foxes and nature, obviously! My favorite season is autumn, thanks to the many bright colors.
I also love spending time with my loved one! Whether games, activities or just cuddling, I'm up for a lot. Especially cuddling, I looove cuddling!
And how much I like video games, I don't think I need to mention. X3
What I don't really like, however, are big cities, spicy food and swimming. Yes, even in summer I don't go swimming. (Sorry my dear Noodle, but swimming is not my thing ^^")
In addition, I absolutely cannot stand if someone underestimates me or even treats me like a child. I may be a sensitive person, but I am strong willed and can be quite determined. Unless I'm arguing with my loved ones, then I want it to go over as quickly as possible.. ^^"
By the way, I'm sometimes afraid of the dark. I love the night and the stars, but sometimes I find the dark scary. Just like bugs and spiders. I find this living beings fascinating, but only as long as they don't come too close to me. XD
I guess that's all I can say to myself, I've probably written way too much by now, but I'm still looking forward to the result. But please, please take the time you need and even if you don't answer this I wouldn't be mad at you at all !!

🤍 Someone who’s patient, loyal and attentive? Well, sign Papa Bear up! He enjoys people who are willing to be patient with him, because he tends to take life rather slowly since he wants to savor the moment. He’s also the kind of guy who would also move mountains for those he cares about, so to have that reciprocated by his pumpkin would really mean the world to him! He’ll be sure to keep an eyesocket on you though, just to make sure you’re not overexerting yourself too much because he cares about you and your wellbeing.
🤍 A fellow nature lover! Papa Bear is a big outdoorsy kinda guy so he really just enjoys getting the chance to spend some time outside. Fishing, hiking and camping are among some of his favorite things to do, and his favorite season also happens to be Fall! He also really loves some time indoors too though. He’s really not the best at video games, but he’d be more than happy to play them with you or even just watch! Plus he gives some pretty funny commentary and is pretty good at figuring out riddles and shortcuts.
🤍 He’s really not a big fan of the city either which is why he relocated his home all the way out into the woods. It’s cozy and peaceful without the whole hustle and bustle of an actual city, but he is close enough at least to where he can make a small daytrip of heading into town if he needs to. Makes for a wonderful place for lots of great photos too, and there are a few views he’d love to take you to see some stellar views of the mountains, city and ocean!
🤍 And a fellow cuddle bug too? Goodness. He’s quite the cuddle bug, mostly due to the fact that he’s a huge teddy bear when it comes to his significant other. It’s how he shows his love aside from showering them in gifts and doing his best to say words of encouragement to them. He just loves how you’re smaller than him and how perfectly you sit in his lap, plus he adores bundling up in all kinds of soft blankets because they feel nice. Have no fear, he’ll happily let you hold on to him even in the dark!
