Listen im gonna keep this short. There’s no way Buddie can get overridden by other ship, queer or straight. It’s too massive, too imposing. I mean take a look at the asks I get telling me to fuck off bc I even mentioned Tommy lmao.

Tim Minear knows what type of relationship we see between Buck and Eddie, and at the end of the day he’s the man running the show, not the actor, not the network, not even us.

They can’t throw them in a mixer and suddenly put them both as queer on the same episode, same day, same realization. They may not be real but they’re telling a story, and it has to be plausible. If you ask me I think eventually they’ll make it canon, today just feels different than the last six seasons.

Hyping bucktommy up won’t do much more than maybe keep the character around, or take longer or a different route in their relationship. Either way, love, canon bi Buck is a huge accomplishment, and right now that’s what we should focus on. It’s a huge win regardless of any ship.

Why is Reylo so hated? Is it just a symptom of being a part of the mess that was the sequel trilogy, or what? IDK it's not my favortie ship in the world but I don't mind it either. So the level of hate it gets has never really made sense to me.

i think ppl were just… u know . insufferable . and the discomfort that comes w shipping villains with heroes and especially the way they were written was messy . i think ppl got doxxed and others threatened to sue (watched that in real time on twitter lol). reylo fanfic’s become real romance books now like twilight fanfic also but that’s like semi related LOL but reylo’s come up in the same breath as other toxic ships so the correlation is hard to separate 🤷‍♀️

i used to be a pretty vitriol filled hater cuz i was sooo ot3 reyfinnpoe ride or die but ehhhh. at this point i like hearing others’ perspectives on it LOL it’s just fandomisms to me…

something I have noticed about shippers especially #one group of shippers it's that they don't seem to like the idea of jk actually being attracted to men. A lot of shippers frame jk's sexuality as him being a straight dude with an exception for their fav (tkkrs too) and u can see an extension of this by the way they choose to insult Tae too,I have seen them act "offended" on jk's behalf bc "how could you think that he could like Tae's refrigerator body" (ofc they word it a lot more meaninly) and the pictures the show it's just him being a hot dude lmao 😭 among a lot of other vile remarks about his body and of course there's nothing wrong with his body but it's clear to me this ppl have an idea of how a gay couple should look to be appealing to their fantasies and that jk must be a straight dude whose world happened to be put upside down by their "feminine prettier than girls" fav which btw I don't see jm as feminine at all btw it's just that he is short man 😭

And then I think about the many videos of jk being entranced by Tae's looks and particularly that one where they were filming the run's pool scene and his shirt sticks to his body when he is out of the water and u can clearly see that jk likes likes what he is seeing (made more obvious by jm's absolute normal friend reaction) and him being like "his back is bigger" completely entranced and yes, jk likes a man, jk likes men (and there are many different ways in which a man can look ofc and different ppl can be particularly attracted to a way or other or many) but jokers point is the opposite of that, the way they insult Tae is like they don't like the idea of jk being attracted to traits they deem as not feminine bc are usual on men like being (comparatively to women) bigger in height and body proportions etc and that's bc deep down and bc of their straight fantasies a couple should have marked differences. Anyways my point is that if you are going to believe that your fav is in a relationship with man you have to believe they like MEN and not act weird about what that means.

And this applies to both shippers bc i have seen tkkrs being weird about tk's bodies too

This is really interesting too. Important to note that demisexuality is real, where the attraction develops after the emotional attachment, and that could encompass this idea that only one guy is attractive to him.

But it's not really about what JK does and doesn't find attractive. If he's attracted to various men, we have no idea, but as ever the real problem is the absolute shutting down of an idea. Discounting a whole "genre" of man just because they'd rather sit with their fantasy is problematic, reductive and wilfully ignorant of the breadth of queer attraction. And when the shutting down of an idea comes with a damaging limiting stereotype and a weird kind of body shaming, almost...? I'm side-eyeing. It's very "yes you can be gay as long as the gay that you are is the gay that I want you to be." Nah, accept all queerness, actually.

A note on attraction though: I think about especially the Run wet tee moment that you referenced and actually, when Tae is dancing and JK is shouting awww yeah from the table - it's always struck me as an attracted appreciative tone to his voice.

But also noticing Namjoon's thighs first? Cute story but actually... To be distracted by someone's thighs... 😂 And Namjoon is so masc.

despite my video I don't actually ship aeon... like they're a good duo and I like them together but in the remakes there aren't any romantic moments between them and I feel like aeon shippers deliberately misinterpret scenes to fit their narratives and their beliefs

Like the kiss scene in 2 HOW was that romantic... re2r was my second re game and even I realised the first time I played it that he was annoyed and didn't kiss her back. But aeon stans never mention that they're just like 'oh they kissed so they're in love' nooo... SHE kissed HIM. and not for any romantical reason either. And then when Annette tells him Ada isn't FBI he doesn't question it he just seems dissapointed because he KNEW she wasn't. But aeon fans get so mad when u say that they act like it's real life like it's not that deep....

And also the shippers who act like their head over heels for eachother. They're not like they do not know eachother. They r practically strangers (talking ab the remakes.) And it's very clear with the remakes Leon has more of a spine and isn't allowing himself to be pushed around by her. Ppl infantilise him and make him seem stupid but it's like../. In re2r he is. A 21-year-old GROWN MAN. maybe a bit naïve but not some stupid little baby who can't tell Ada is fucking with him which is the way a lot of people paint him.

believe it or not, it even took me a long time to break away from that "aeon as default" mindset. it's only been since... may of this year that i've felt comfortable/confident enough to say that aeon has been de-canonized and eagleone is far closer to a canon romance than they are in the remake-verse.

RE6 has been out for 10 years, and the post i just made the other day where i first mentioned that RE6 ends with leon rejecting ada is the first time i've said that out loud/in public. because that "aeon as default" discourse is so prevalent and oppressive.

but we need to be willing to talk about these things openly and with our names attached if anything in the fandom is going to change. and it can't just be me, either. like i've said, my reach is very limited. but the fact of the matter is that aeon fandom has had a chokehold on the conversation surrounding this series for 25 fucking years, and their interpretation of the story is wrong.

it's just wrong.

it's incorrect.

it's not what the story actually is.

and it's being pitched to new fans without giving said new fans a chance to think or speak on their own. and the perpetuation of misinformation throughout this fandom continues.

people are finally starting the first rumblings of pushing back against the "leon's background is in the italian mafia" bullshit. we can push back on the aeon narrative, too.

Okay don't shoot me for these y'all! so I'm a go by character let's start with kie, I hate how the writers passed around like a fucking hot potato like give that lesbian a GOOD love story.

this is gonna be long, but,

i used to be into youtube fandoms alot but the only ones ive retained are dan and phil and smosh. i was big on phan but i fell out of it years ago, i still like them but im more of a causal viewer than a rabid racoon frothing at the mouth every time some content drops.

(and also realised, as im no longer a teenager anymore, how shipping real people together is tricky and there are boundaries you dont cross and should be handled a particular way)

I relate so hard with ur comment on phan, I feel the fandom has gone thru a massive transformation and feels so much for chill now! Ppl have grown and are taking into account Phil and Dan a lot more!

Yes! Rpf is a tough area! I've said it before but the most important thing is the ppl themselves and their feelings! If Shayne or Chanse (or anybody from Smosh or that knows them tbh) asked me to stop, I would in a heartbeat! I, of course, would never intend any harm! And we see such a small snippet of their lives, its truly just based off their internet personas. My one rule is that u shouldn't go out of ur way to shove rpf into the ppl's faces unless they've said their okay with it! (Example: Them finding a fic by themselves is not the fault of the author, but the author sending it to them constantly crosses some boundaries)

thank you for the questions !! finally able to finish this since i was a bit busy !!

everything will go under the cut because i ended up writing like a very mini essay

1. Why do you like or dislike this character?

she is my daughter !! i rlly love the love she has to offer to the world !! and most importantly, i love her passion for basketball as well -- i rlly enjoyed how integral she was to the teams she was a manager to due to her data collecting, and how those analytical abilities made her a force to be reckoned with !! in conclusion, that's my girl !!

2. Favorite canon thing about this character?

ok i do feel like i answered that in the last question, so i'll add that im absolutely so endeared by the fact she nicknames many people :] honestly kagamin and midorin are amongst my fav nicknames from her... think kagami and midorima won there

7. What's something the fandom does when it comes to this character that you like?

i don't have too much experience with the fandom -- since i got into knb in mid 2022 and rlly have only interacted with a few ppl on tumblr and my friends -- but from what ive seen, i rlly love the amount of love ive seen !! most people ive seen like her a lot and support her !! even those in other fandoms (looking at my beloved a3! fandom the most) -- when momoi's on polls (ex. @/girlygirltournament, @/girls-in-love-bracket, @/pinkandbluebracket) there's always a lot of support for her !!

quick fun fandom thing -- i do want to say that in the pink&blue poll, an alliance was made with a3! fans because both a3! fans and knb fans were super supportive of each other and had a fun competition and ever since then... they have been brother in arms 2 me...

and of course my favorite is still @/pinkhairswagtourney where we arranged for muku (the a3! pink haired boy ever, i even have a little can badge of him) and momoi to tie and be a team together !! and then they won the whole tournament... being able to beat madoka :D and i like to think it is bc of our shared love for charas

(also to anyone reading this, i think you guys should vote for a3! charas when u see them on polls)

again, i don't really interact with fandom, but i can guess (based on most fandom patterns) that there are people who likely ignore her in favor of the other (most likely male) charas and that'd make me :(

i like to think she and takao will eventually become besties and have a very fun group with midorima and kise

16. What's your least favorite ship for this character?

i assume this question excludes ships you would have no real opinion on (so probably some pairs where they dont interact that much -- even tho i have shipped charas who have very little interactions it all depends on the vibes...)

anyways that makes it a tough question for me !! i personally do prefer aomine and momoi to be platonic, but like. i get it. theyre childhood friends who love each other a lot. inseparable... their bond is just very special to me...

this ended up being me talking abt how i like aomine and momoi's bond but i think that's ok even if i basically didnt answer the question because like. after writing all of this im like... yeah its not my least favorite but i already committed to writing this much

CONCLUSIONS!!

sdlkjf ya'll i really wanted this to harder but idk i didnt feel the depth or sensibility this called for was there tbh. but it was a blast!!! but … it missed a bit of that x factor thing. like some kind of universality to the romance w/ the rogue. i feel he was too sketched-in.... i was also a bit disappointed that ruby's friend was not her friend bc it meant her whole thing this ep of connecting to that woman was for nothing (and up until that point it was feeling very Important specially after the marti thing) (and speaking of, the chuldur's were kinda very sketched-in / surface-level as villains as well) … yeah. idk. kinda disappointing ngl (diodati > this i think). pretty fucking gay tho so that was nice.

having sexual trauma issues is hard (for a lot of real reasons but im gonna talk about a silly one now) cause all i wanna do is make my favorite characters suffer through it too through art but my favorite characters right now are from TMNT, and projecting my incest trauma onto those guys would be like opening a can of worms that hate you and want to kill you with guns because every third post in the tmnt fandom is like INCEST SHIPPERS DO NOT INTERACT and i dunno how to explain to people that what i'm doing is in no way shipping

but ppl really only want to see your trauma art if its like, tasteful and just hints at what happened instead of graphic and furious and ugly

anyway this isn't a serious issue it's actually just kinda funny to think about. I've got plenty of other ways to vent hahh

also if you're triggered by incest you prolly shouldn't follow me just as a heads up and I'm giving u permission to block me for your own health (I know you don't need my permission but I also know some of us are neurotic and would feel bad about it and I'm saying its FINE) because I will randomly talk/vent about stuff that happened to me in the past and I dont shy away from or censor the word incest (though I do tag it as either incest or incest tw)

Monica's mothers! I love them soo much, probably my favorite ship in the mcu. Do I even need to explain? I love the angst in captain marvel movie and I hope there's more content in the marvels. I need to see carols reaction to Maria's death

2. Jessica drew/spider woman- caroljess

100/10

Amazing, fantastic, terrific. Should 100% be canon idc what u say. They fight like an old married couple and constantly call each other names like love, honey, babe, kirk/spock. Also carols name in jessica phone is "carebear" The way that ppl in earth 616 thinks that carol is the father to jess's baby💀 which tbh he does look like carol and carol did pay for her medical bills bit sus. Kamala did write a fanfic one time called "spidermarvel" which was probably carol x peter(comics them met when they where both adults) or herself x miles but I will choose to believe it was about them. Sad that we probably won't see them in the mcu since spider woman is a Sony character.

3. Jessica Jones

Carols other bestie named jessica. I'm suprised I haven't seen more ppl ship them. They're cute. I like how both jess's fight over carol and carol calling them "my Jessica's". Also when jessica was going into labor w Dani and carol had to carry jessica to the hospital.

Hey shaz, I've seen people question why we need more jikookers banding together and I wanted to address another side of it. ( This may get long sorry!) Yes ttkkers are getting way too comfortable invading jkk spaces but besides the fights they start....they also hurt alot of new and more casual media-using jikookers.

Not those insecure ones, but those who genuinely love and support jikook but may not be in the ideal headspace to combat these people. I'm not a big social media user and I've met so many other jikookers who feel the same and just use Twitter and media to appreciate jkk and engage with content they enjoy. No one asks for drama, but then you have tkkers there shuting down curiousity and engagement from the onset. They attack stupidly yes, but for ppl new to this, or not strong enough for that fight..its enough to leave a traumatic impression. And it's bloody ironic this happens to the new jikook community when tk is the first ship that most new fans get recommended and indoctrinated into!

Especially in this "drought" before MS, please remember to take care of yourself and your mental health first. And definitely keep in mind that to support jikook, jk and ESPECIALLY Jimin..you have to be willing to play the long game. Trust in these two and their relationship. That the truth will out eventually, that they KNOW they have people out there who support them and that everything will work out.

Tkkers will make something out of nothing so you better believe they will always have "explanations or connections" for every little thing Tae and jk. They have the advantage of bending their narrative however they need. Jikook, however, is a real couple with real problems, and moments. They will never play to a narrative so we won't always get these "easy loud moments" all the time. THEY determine what to show and they determine when to show it..all we can do is try to understand NOT impose a narrative. Yes, I understand it gets frustrating when you see tae and Jk moments being twisted by tkkers while jkk are laying low. Tkkers always be loud for no reason, rather than let those things get to you, appreciate the subtly of a different jikook right now. Enjoy that these moments we get are left there for each other and for us who they know will understand. Those who get it, will get it and whose who don't will be writing wattpad narratives to explain jikookery👌

Idek why we listen to people who loudly claim Jkk haven't seen eo all year. Anyone with a brain would know all members are seeing eo at some point we just dk about it. We only found out from RM Minimoni were together recently otherwise we'd have never known that if he didn't tell us. So who knows who else is hanging out and when?

Also as per the logic that what u see is what's real then tkk the real couple have only see eo 5 times all year so far. How does that make sense? These people when they claim things they don't even consider how it will backfire on them. In 6 months tkk have only seen eo 5 times and I'm supposed to believe they're a couple? How?

Its why I hate insecure Jikookers sm because they don't think. Ever. And even worse they listen to people who are absolutely dumb as fcking rocks. I can't respect someone who believes anything a tkkr has to say. I simply can't.

But everything anon said was true. However can I just say as bad as twitter is you can only see what u want to see? If you curate your timeline properly you shouldn't be able to see their shit. Very many Armys are on twitter and don't even know what goes on half the time. Especially Armys who don't ship and are on twitter for BTS and other things. They are completely blind to the fighting half of the fandom does. It's absolutely possible. Just follow the right people and block anyone with a tkkr sign on their bio and u should be good. Also Suga solos are moving like tkkrs now in terms of dragging Jimin every chance they get so u might wanna watch out for those, too.

Oh also unfollow Jikookers like me who fight alot with these people because then u will definitely see that crap on your timeline 😂
