I Might Be Lost by Yusuf Alioğlu

I Might Be Lost My Interplanetary Memories Interplanetary Travel Sometimes I think I'm lost. Maybe I'm looking for myself on this trip I've taken. Maybe I'm looking for my lost life. During this time that I was missing, there were many things about life that I missed. None of them will be re-lived for me. They will remain in my mind as unforgettable memories. Memories that should have been lived but never lived. I don't remember exactly when I got lost. This journey I have embarked on has been a constant search for me. The search for a new life, a new existence. Maybe I would be able to exist again when I found what I was looking for in this endless vacuum of space. I could start life again. Maybe I wouldn't be able to get back the lost time. But I would be able to start feeling life again. I don't know exactly how this search will turn out. Maybe an even worse ending awaits me. I do not know. Maybe it's better for me to be lost. Camera: Canon EOS Kiss X7i Photograph by Yusuf Alioglu Location: Outer space (space) Facebook Become a Patron! raise a glass to the posts you love that end up deleted. to the fanart and fanfics you lose track of and can't locate. to the blogs you used to look through that ended up unexpectedly disappearing. to the things you didn't archive because you always assumed they'd be there.

I do sort of wish western anime fans would analyze anime and manga from a framework of japanese historical and cultural context. Specifically a lot of works from the 90s being influenced by the general aimlessness and ennui that a lot of people were experiencing due to the burst in the bubble economy and the national trauma caused by the sarin terrorist attack. I think in interacting with media that’s not local to our sociocultural/sociopolitical sphere it’s easy to forget that it’s influenced and shaped by the same kinds of factors that influence media within our own cultural dome and there ends up being this baseline misalignment of perception between the causative elements of a narrative and viewer interpretation of those elements. It’s a form of death of the author that i think, in some measure, hinders our ability to fully understand/come to terms with creator intent and the full scope of a work’s merits

ITS DINLUKE WEEK!!1!
This an old au idea I had with my friend keylime about Luke and Leia going to ✨political parties✨ to gain allies for the New Republic! Of course dinluke shenanigans occur, we can’t have politics and daddy issues the WHOLE time 🙄✋
