Sev is the earth
1 they are an oddball amongst other. The earth is the only planet that isn't named after the god and the only planet that has living creatures.
2 people take them for granted. They gain benefit from them but don't care about them at all. When they can't gain benefit from them anymore they discard them ,(Many people try to find other planet to live instead of saving the earth)

This is World Cancer, one of my rare request-pieces I did for a DeviantArt friend. It was something I'd planned to do for myself anyway, and I asked him and a couple of other friends if I could include their characters in the image. He's the green guy front-and-center. My gang is the brown Predator, the multi-armed weirdo behind her, and the gold guy behind him. The other three were friends who came along for the glory and honor of killing a planet.
Somewhere in my notes from twenty years ago, I have the outline of a story that explains what the heck is going on here. The short version is that there's this entire planet that has gone cancerous - it's a world-sized teratoma with all the tentacular horror that one could imagine. Our intrepid Hunters need to find a way to kill it before it eats any other planets and grows large enough to start attracting things to it with a deepening gravity well.
I made this with Prismacolor pencils over an ink drawing.

El Ojo ‘The Eye’ Island Location: Buenos Aires, Argentina
First discovered by Argentinian filmmaker Sergio Neuspiller in 2003, El Ojo is an uninhabited circular rotating floating island located within a slightly larger circular lake in the Paraná Delta in the Buenos Aires Province, Argentina. This island is constantly rotating on its own axis due to the flow of the river beneath it. The island was named because of its resemblance to an eye when viewed from above: as the island rotates within its surrounding circular lake, the eye appears to move.

Clearest picture of Jupiter, from Earth. Isn't she beautiful? Actually hundreds of photos taken by the Gemini North Telescope in Hawaii, compiled to produce the infrared snap in order to see beyond Jupiter’s hazy atmosphere.
