Nothing really changed? I mean, your friendship was already so great, thoughtful and deep, after the confession you both just oficialized what everyone was already suspecting. Of course now there was PDA, but Luna never shivered away from one of your hugs, absolutely loved doing aaaaaall of the sappy gay shit, hand holding, star gazing, romantic walks in the lake, hand kissing after gift exchanging, cuddling, you name it, she loves you are bubbly, how you get easily excited, really longs to tell you stuff because you are always so enthusiastic! Across *all* fandoms?!

I’ll give it a go:

1. Jaime x Brienne, A Song of Ice and Fire/Game of Thrones.

They hold a special place in my heart, especially in the books. I especially relate to Jaime since I, too, want to love and protect Brienne whilst knowing full well she can protect herself, and GRRM’s writing and world building is my absolute favourite.

2. Janeway x Chakotay, Star Trek: Voyager.

You guys. That show was my life throughout college. And my favourite dynamic was always the one between these two, their deep respect for each other and the tragedy of their predicament. Such good mutual pining, and I’m a sucker for mutual pining.

3. Luna x Harry, Harry Potter.

I just couldn’t not mention them. As problematic as JKR is nowadays, Harry grew up with me. Those books gave me my love for reading and writing, helped me learn the languages I speak today, and were the sole reason I met so many wonderful people in my life. Makes sense I would mention my very first OTP, ever (still ship it passionately).

4. Stan x Rick (Stanchez), Gravity Falls/Rick and Morty.

How could I leave this one out? Yes, this is more of a recent ship for me, I only got into these two fandoms a couple months ago, but the content is fantastic, and there’s something magical about grumpy, sarcastic characters being soft for each other.

Eden by Rancore!

For all my non-Italian followers, you should still absolutely check it out, the lyrics are a masterpiece (and there’s plenty of translations out there) and I’ve been blown away by him. Rancore is a winner in my heart.

3) last movie I have watched:

Um... I think it was Frozen 2? I don’t much watch movies, as opposed to tv shows.

Good movie with great music, though! Been covering Into the Unknown at karaoke ever since!

4) Reading:

Just bought Coraline, I’m pretty much alternating between that and re-reading Half-Blood Prince (it’s that time of the year when I’m out of work and re-reading Harry Potter, you guys).

5) what food are you craving right now?

Watermelon! I love me some watermelon!

Age of Conan: Bêlit #3 throws a few road bumps in the way of Bêlit’s plans as the Kushites renege of their deal and her drunken “Captain” continues being a jerk. I’m really liking this exploration of Bêlit’s early days from Tini Howard, Kate Niemczyk, Scott Hanna, Jason Keith, and Travis Lanham.

Archie #704 throws some roadblocks in the way of Archie and Sabrina’s relationship through the form of a “Bachelor”-like charity programme set up by Cheryl. I love the even more stylized pastel colour palette from Matt Herms.

Batman & The Outsiders #1 is an entertaining debut from Bryan Hill, Dexter Soy, Veronica Gandini, Clayton Cowles. I’ve not read the arc in Detective Comics that feeds into this, but this first issue provides enough information for new readers now to be lost and gives good incentive to check out what’s come before. Great art from Soy and Gandini, with an interesting look inside a team and a compelling start to a mystery about the last survivor from a metahuman generating factory.

Bronze Age Boogie #2 continues the strangest Doom Patrol story as the Martian invasion angle has taken hold in the future and a motley crew of heroes bands together to try to stop them. Stuart Moore, Alberto Ponticelli, Giulia Brusco, and Rob Steen are playing with some interesting cross-media influences to tell a highly entertaining tale. It’s rounded out with the usual goodies in the form of prose, letters, and what’s probably my favourite of the back-up strips so far, Major Ursa, from Tyrone Finch, Mauricet, Lee Loughridge, and Rob Steen.

Conan the Barbarian #6 sees Jason Aaron, Mahmud Asrar, Matthew Wilson, and Travis Lanham tell a story of Conan’s frustrations as a mercenary in the skirmishes between Turan and Stygia. People constantly underestimating Conan is always a fun story.

Deadly Class #38 sees Marcus and Maria return to King’s Dominion. It’s kind of messed up seeing the new status quo, but at the same time the tension that Rick Remender, Wes Craig, Jordan Boyd, and Rus Wooton build here between to old Legacy kids and Marcus & Maria feels like it’s going to explode, suggesting something even worse for the characters is coming soon. It’s very captivating.

Detective Comics #1003 reveals the identity of the Arkham Knight. It’s not really anyone you could have possibly guessed, but an interesting addition to Batman’s rogues gallery. Also the cult surrounding the Arkham Knight is certifiably insane. Gorgeous artwork again from Brad Walker, Andrew Hennessy, and Nathan Fairbairn.

The Empty Man #7 goes full Clive Barker as we get an explanation for what the Empty Man really is and how he continues to manifest himself upon reality. I know I keep saying it, but the body horror brought about in the art from Jesús Hervás and Niko Guardia just can’t be stressed enough. Every issue they seem to outdo themselves with creepy and intriguing designs.

Eve Stranger #1 looks to be another winner for Black Crown. This first issue sets up the titular character as a secret agent who seems to need to reboot her memory every week. Why, exactly, is left unknown, but that’s part of the fun. David Barnett, Philip Bond, Eva de la Cruz, and Jane Heir do a wonderful job here with the action and intrigue. Also it’s great to see Bond doing more espionage tinged action, his art always looks so great telling these kinds of stories.

Excellence #1 is a thoroughly excellent debut from Brandon Thomas, Khary Randolph, Emilio Lopez, and Deron Bennett. The world and character building in this first issue is impeccable and the art from Randolph and Lopez will just blow you away. Incredible development of a magic-based society and the class structure therein.

The Flash #70 begins “Year One” promising new insight and occurrences during Barry’s origin story. Given that the last time this happened his mother was murdered, changing the timeline and resulting down the line in Barry trying to fix it with Flashpoint, anything’s possible. The real draw, though, is the stunning artwork from Howard Porter and Hi-Fi. Porter is really giving this his all and it shines through wonderfully.

Hawkman #12 brings Bryan Hitch’s tenure on the series to an end with the conclusion to “Cataclysm”. This is an excellent, action-packed final confrontation between the legion of Hawkmen and the Deathbringers, setting up a whole Hawkman for possibly the first time and hints as to worse things waiting on the horizon.

Infinite Dark #6 amplifies the terror and chaos as the dead-ish things exposed to the void start spreading fear and panic throughout the station. Ryan Cady, Andrea Mutti, K. Michael Russell, and Troy Peteri ratchet up the horror here.

Invaders #5 raises more questions after we thought some things were coming into focus in the previous issue, as Chip Zdarsky, Carlos Magno, Butch Guice, Alex Guimarães, and Travis Lanham continue “War Ghosts”. The tension here on the brink of all out war between the US and Atlantis is incredible, and there are more interesting twists that suggest something far more sinister occurring.

Jim Henson’s The Storyteller: Sirens #2 features a gorgeous adaptation of the story of Chinese mother goddess, Nuwa, by Chan Chau with letters by Jim Campbell. The artwork is amazingly beautiful supporting a very sweet tale.

Justice League Odyssey #9 opens up an interesting thread that Starfire, Cyborg, and Azrael may be unduly under the influence of Darkseid. Dan Abnett is setting up some simmering conflict between Jessica Cruz and the rest of the team here, along with quite a few occult catchphrases thrown in to help amplify the mood.

Lodger #5 is the end to this excellent crime drama from the Laphams and it is all kinds of messed up. We learn what really happened to Ricky’s family and...yeah. This has been a strange, at times disturbing, ride and they stuck the landing.

Murder Falcon #8 is the epic conclusion to this series as Jake and Murf take on Magnum Khaos. Between this series and Extremity, Daniel Warren Johnson has proven himself time and again as a master storyteller and it shines through with the heartrending end to this story. This one goes up to eleven.

Red Sonja & Vampirella Meet Betty & Veronica #1 is an interesting mash-up of the three properties from Amy Chu, Maria Sanapo, Vinicius Andrade, and Taylor Esposito. Some nice fish out of water humour as Sonja and Vampirella acclimate to Riverdale.

Savage Sword of Conan #5 concludes “The Cult of Koga Thun” from Gerry Duggan, Ron Garney, Richard Isanove, and Travis Lanham. Some interesting twists in this finale of what has been a highly entertaining adventure.

She Could Fly: The Lost Pilot #2 sees Martín Morazzo cut loose again with some of the designs and presentation for Luna’s dreams and schizophrenic episodes.

Star Wars: Age of Rebellion - Boba Fett #1 features some incredibly rich artwork from Marc Laming and Neeraj Menon. Great detail throughout this story spotlighting Boba Fett’s cold, silent amorality.

Star Wars: Doctor Aphra #32 begins “Unspeakable Rebel Superweapon” as Aphra and her young protege steal the titular MacGuffin. There’s some interesting flashbacks to Aphra’s youth and it’s great to see Caspar Wijngaard doing more Star Wars art, even if just the flashbacks.

These Savage Shores #4 is a sumptuous feast. Ram V, Sumit Kumar, Vittorio Astone, and Aditya Bidikar are elevating the artform of comics which each subsequent issue. The epistolary narrative, the horror and mythological themes, the plays upon the nine-panel grid, the shadowy character designs, the lush and spooky colours, the overlap with historical events, the unique approach and detail in each character’s missive...just one of these elements would result in an entertaining tale, this comic mixes all of them into a superlative package. You’re doing yourself a disservice if you’re not reading this series.

The Unstoppable Wasp #7 throws Nadia a birthday party, wherein she learns of her relations to what seems like half of the Marvel universe. Also, issues a death threat to Tony Stark. It’s cute, from Jeremy Whitley, Alti Firmansyah, Espen Grundetjern, and Joe Caramagna.

War of the Realms: New Agents of Atlas #1 sets up the conflict in the Pacific with Sindr while introducing a swath of new international characters to the Marvel universe. Also, Amadeus Cho continues to be a massive idiot, even at his shrunken size. Great art from Gang Hyuk Lim and Federico Blee.

Wonder Twins #4 sets up the twins with a pair of dates, allowing for some hilarious misadventures. Also, Polly seems to have a weird obsession with testicular cancer. Mark Russell, Stephen Byrne, and Dave Sharpe continue the fun, even though this one kind of takes us away from all ages material.

Wyrd #3 opens up the messy can of worms of Wyrd’s past further as a figure out of the past he can’t remember emerges for a “meet”. Great tone and atmosphere for this story from Curt Pires, Antonio Fuso, Stefano Simeone, and Micah Myers.

X-Force #7 begins “The Counterfeit King” from Ed Brisson, Dylan Burnett, Damian Couceiro, Jesus Aburtov, and Joe Caramagna as past and present threaten to collide. Some nice character development for the team as they wait for Deathlok to do his thing.

Let me tell you, if you want some complicated fucking female friendships (slash borderline more if you squint), these two, from Elena Ferrante’s Neapolitan quartet, are Good Shit. Two girls growing up in a whirlwind of poverty, misogyny, unequal educational opportunities, and crime in Naples, from the 1950s to the present day: the ways in which society fucks them over, they fuck themselves over, they fuck each other over (intentionally and unintentionally), they scheme to make their positions better, they love each other, and they hate each other are breath-taking, and the world they inhabit is insanely rich and atmospheric and wonderful. Probably the best books I read this year.

Abigail Griffin

Tenacious, hopeful, loving, gritty at times, competent as hell, a leader amongst all men and women. A Mother Character™️ who’s allowed to be a lot more, and 10/10 would bang, to boot.

Elise Wassermann

Competent, bad at reading and interacting with most people but good-hearted and in search of justice nonetheless, awkward and endearing without being made overly precious or having her competencies and intelligence downplayed.

Siobhan Sadler

Competent, another Mother Character™️ allowed to be more, scary at times and loving, violent and scheme-y at times, can be amoral, but gorgeously so.

(I...might have an Older Woman Competence Kink, love Italian fuckery/stories about girls fighting for education, and love awkward smart women...)

#9 Che il tuo nome sia di buono auspicio per il nostro futuro assieme

eccoci di nuovo. è domenica, sono le dieci e io sto palesemente prendendo tempo per riconnettere la giornata e i miei pensieri per buttare giù cio che (come al solito) ho bisogno di scrivere. Diamine ogni volta mi viene da dire “lasciare su carta” mentre sto picchiettando su una tastiera e guardo le mie parole comparire maggggicamente sullo schermo..

comunque

Che giornata è stata oggi. Sono follemente innamorata di V. Del mio ragazzo, è il mio ragazzo (inserire tante facce a cuoricini)

Che poi detta così ci si può immaginare una giornata indimenticabile tipo gita in montagna o giornata al luna park, in realtà non è successo niente.

è semplicemente domenica, ed è venuto a mangiare a casa mia, siamo partiti da casa sua però, perchè ieri sera siamo andati da i nostri amici e mio cugino, abbiamo fatto tardi e ho dormito da lui.

Poi ci siamo svegliati, o meglio io mi sono svegliata alle 10 credo e ho trovato poco dopo il mio amore che aveva finito di lavorare, e siamo passati da casa mia. Abbiamo mangiato, ci siamo divertiti, poi siamo stati un po insieme da soli. Cioè solo io e lui in camera mia, tende chiuse a lasciare la stanza abbastanza illuminata da vedere tutto bene, abbracciati a rilassarci, quasi dormire.

Dimentico la chiacchierata a tavola con i miei quasi da film con tanto di discorsi sul futuro, il matrimonio, il lavoro di V. ecc.. A tratti scomodo, non direi imbarazzante solo... un po gne. però ecco nessun problema.

Però poi.. non so sono rimasta folgorata quasi.

Da qui in poi intendo tutto in senso positivo

Non so davvero come spiegarlo...anzi una bambina saggia una volta spiegò in modo perfetto un emozione indescrivibile, ed ecco forse è a quello che si avvicina molto quello che provo.

È tutto un casino nella mia testa xD ho le farfalle nel cervello anzi che nello stomaco

va be provo a tornare a scrivere in maniera decente e comprensibile, cioè a riordinare i pensieri in realtà perchè mi sono ripromessa che qui avrei scritto solo e unicamente come penso. Proprio per buttare giù roba e non scendere nella poesia... anche se...

Tornando al “folgorata” ed “emozione indescrivibile” Giuro che non riesco a pensare ad altro che quanto lo amo. Ecco forse, se non l’avessimo detto così presto e forse, se fossimo in un film, oggi sarebbe stata la giornata perfetta per dirlo. Si, c’è stato un altro momento che non sto a descrivere ora, perchè non devo raccontarlo a nessuno, lo ricordo e questo basta. (sempre per tenere a mente di scrivere diretto ciò che penso) Però oggi c’è stato un qualcosa che non so’ descrivere, sono stata travolta dalle emozioni, continuavo a pensare a mia madre che diceva “sta volta alice è innamorata veramente” e lei lo sa. E poi a quanto perderei se perdessi lui. Questo perchè spesso, quando stiamo insieme dico sospirando “la vita è bella!” oppure lo dico con un certo tono contento. Insomma a volte suona come uno che lo dice da rilassato alle hawaii con le pantofole, un cappello di paglia e una camicia a fiori; a volte come l’apetta giulia. Beh sta volta l’ha detto lui e forse e la prima volta che glie lo sento dire, se non la seconda al massimo. E l’ha detto col sorrisone, abbracciandomi, rilassato e con gli occhi chiusi. Io poi mi ritrovo a rispondergli (forse un po sottovoce) “perchè ci sei tu”.

ed è lì che penso a quanto significa per me e quanto è forte quello che ho detto, ma perchè lo sento veramente. è tutto troppo cambiato da quando V. è nella mia vita Io prima ho conosciuto il suo lavoro, amo stare con lui mentre lavora o nel posto in cui vive che sembra un piccolo paradiso: quasi in mezzo al nulla, solo natura. Prati immensi, salci piangenti, animali che chiedono coccole ovunque. una casa grande, dal soffitto alto. Il legno, gli odori, il cibo. Il caldo e il freddo, le sensazioni di riparo a tutte le intemperie come anche la sensazione di essere piccoli e fare parte di qualcosa di grande. Non so a volte mi sento come fossimo Adamo ed Eva, solo io e lui in spazi sconfinati di colori e quell’aria di libertà. Non potrei stare meglio. Ha ragione l’amica di mamma, ho trovato la mia dimensione (da vera hippie che sono xD)

no, ma sul serio... lasciando il paradiso terrestre a parte. Ho trovato un amico, che ride e scherza proprio come me, che è monello tanto quanto lo sono io. Adoro quando mangiamo schifezze insieme, sia che mi porta al burger king sia che si inventi quelle ricette strampalate che prendo tanto in giro come per sgridarlo e fare la salutista, quando in realtà amo ogni cosa di lui. Le cose più piccole sono le più adorabili, davvero. E adoro come ci capiamo. Anticipa le mie frasi, a volte ci capiamo davvero con uno sguardo... abbiamo lo stesso tipo di umorismo (quasi) e abbiamo tantissime cose in comune che ci piacciono. Quello che non conosco me lo racconta e io faccio lo stesso con lui. Non riusciamo neanche tanto a stare arrabbiati l’un con l’altra, poi vabbe anche se ci provo non mi prende mai sul serio, sdrammatizza sempre tutto e sinceramente, sono grata di questo.

La vita è più leggera con lui, ma anche più piena

È più bella

e oserei dire completa. Ovvio ho sempre bisogno delle mie passioni, sono pur sempre un essere umano, non unicamente un partner, come essere umano è lui.

Onestamente, non mi importa dei problemi o del futuro (in un certo senso) in questo momento. Cerco sempre di vivere al meglio il presente e sò per certo che voglio che il mio futuro continui ad essere pieno di noi, però non ho ansie.

Sento solo che sono innamorata davvero. Per la prima volta? si, sicuro

E questo è uno di quei giorni in cui sono tanto grata e realizzo tutte queste cose e tante altre tutte insieme. So che non dobbiamo parlare di matrimonio ma oggi.... Con tutte queste emozioni, tra gli altri peniseri, per un attimo mi è scappato che se lui mi avesse chiesto di sposarlo, gli avrei detto si immediatamente.

Però è giusto aspettare. io faccio troppe cose di fretta senza capire mai che non devo correre dietro al tempo o alle esperienze della vita ma devo lasciare che accadino ed esaminare le mie emozioni e tutto quello che è successo solo dopo. Va be ma questo è un altro discorso.

Non so come reagirebbe V. se vedesse questo post o semplicemente sapesse che ho pensato al si. Ma oggi non riuscivo più a gruardarlo senza smettere di piangere o che smettessero di tremarmi bocca e gambe, non scherzo. Mi sentivo disposta a fare qualsiasi cosa, smuovere anche montagne per lui. e sono sentimenti fortissimi e se ti ci fermi a pensare fanno anche paura quanto queste emozioni possano pervaderti e delle cose che sarei davvero in grado di fare, solo per lui.

So che ho fatto e detto tante cose prima, ma pian piano ho la conferma che queste emozioni sono tutte le prime volte che le sento. perchè è anche la prima volta che vengo amata veramente. e ancora non so come ho fatto e nemmeno se me lo merito.

ecco cos’era...era da un po che avevo in testa questo sentimento e me ne rendo conto solo ora. Alla fine mi ritrovo sempre a pensare che non me lo merito. Ma non perchè non amo me stessa abbastanza per permettermelo.. ma perchè è tutto così fantastico e lui mi dà così tanto...

Non riesco neanche più a seguire la velocità dei miei pensieri davvero.

Sono completamente travolta dalle emozioni e ancora non capisco cosa stia succedendo ma pian piano realizzo quanto davvero V. sia la cosa più bella che ho in assoluto nella vita.

Ti amo, ti amo da matti, ti amo alla follia. Vorrei darti tutto ciò che ho, tutta me stessa, amo la nostra relazione e quello che abbiamo creato e non lo perderei per nulla al mondo. Non permetterò mai a noi di diventare come le coppie che si dicono bugie, che non sono al 100% loro stessi. Lotterò e farò qualunque cosa x te e x noi. Sei il mio riparo sicuro dal mondo e la cosa più bella e preziosa che mi possa mai capitare e spero che un giorno non ci spaventi più così tanto il pensiero del matrimonio o di avere dei figli o di passare la vita insieme, solo perchè siamo giovani e tecnicamente non guadagnamo abbastanza neanche per mantenerci, beh guadagni solo tu e il discorso vale comunque anche solo per il singolo.

Spero davvero che tutto vada sempre bene per noi. non so più come esprimerni, cioè potrei ma non ho voglia di spremermi, ho già la testa e il cuore in un altra dimensione, voglio solo tornare a letto e piangere pensando a quanto ti amo e quanto sono grata di averti nella mia vita.

La Ottanta del Circolo Nautico Santa Margherita ed è subito altura!

La quinta edizione al via il 6 aprile, prima tappa del Trofeo Caorle X2 XTutti Salutati i grigiori invernali, al Circolo Nautico Santa Margherita tutto è pronto per la stagione offshore 2019 che si aprirà con la quinta edizione de La Ottanta, in programma il 6 e 7 aprile. La regata è il primo appuntamento del Trofeo Caorle X2 XTutti, il percorso di vela d’altura che da aprile ad ottobre, consente agli equipaggi di misurarsi con quattro percorsi di diversa difficoltà nelle acque adriatiche, dalla costiera all’offshore più impegnativo. La Ottanta salperà sabato 6 aprile lungo la rotta Caorle-Grado-Pirano (SLO) e ritorno, X2 e XTutti, in classe Libera o con i sistemi compensati ORC o IRC. Trai i numerosi pre-iscritti a tre settimane dal via, alcuni equipaggi che si avvicinano per la prima volta ad una regata alturiera, con un occhio già puntato verso La Duecento e magari il sogno nel cassetto della 500x2. “Siamo molto soddisfatti della risposta degli armatori” commenta Gian Alberto Marcorin, Presidente CNSM “La Ottanta, pur essendo una regata che si svolge lungo costa, offre un percorso non scontato, che consente di mettersi alla prova, divertirsi e navigare lungo splendidi scenari.”. Nella categoria XTutti, tra habituè e nuovi arrivi ci sarà battaglia nell’alto adriatico, a partire dai vincitori del Trofeo Caorle XTutti 2019, Luna per come te dello Sporting Club Duevele chesaranno allo start di questa edizione insieme a molti altri, tra i quali Spirit, Cross IMS di Luca Pizzi, Don’t Forget to Smile di Giampietro Sforza, Charlie Victor di Matteo Ranza e il Pogo 850Giant Turtle dell’austriaco Franz Suttner. Nella X2 non mancheranno come tradizione, gli agguerriti ministi adriatici capitanati da Antigua di Franco Deganutti, Skip Intro di Marco Romano-Paolo Favaro, Angelo di Federico d’Amico-Edoardo Giannessi, Yak2 di Maurizio Gallo-Giulia Biasio e i vincitori 2018 del Trofeo Caorle X2, Demon-X di Nicola Borgatello-Daniele Lombardo.
