it is no surprise that daichi is the captain of the karasuno males' volleyball team–what's there not to like about him? he's experienced, strong, very friendly, yet he makes it clear that he cares about the members outside of volleyball, that he cares about those he loves as people, not just as teammates or colleagues.
and of course, the same could be said about how he feels towards you, his beloved partner.
one thing to note about daichi is that he is a worrier, beneath that tough and sometimes scary image he has, he only gets this way when he's worried–when things get out of hand; and when it comes to you, daichi can't help but fuss over you a lot, but he is never overbearing, mind you.
he gives you your space when you need it, lets you figure out what you have to do to grow as a person and to let you live a little more independent from him–but he lets you know that, when things get tough, he wants to be your refuge; to be the one you come to seeking comfort in and helping you catch your breath from such awful or bustling days.

he may be a bit immature, sometimes clueless that he is being immature–but can he help it, wanting to live in the moment and enjoy his last year of high school? especially with his girlfriend–you.
bokuto is a loud, boisterous guy with a massive confidence; he's kind of the stark opposite of you, and he loves that very much. he likes being all loud around the rest of the guys on the team when he's talking about you, whining about how the day's way too long for him to not spend every hour with you, and he loves catching your eye when you enter the court during their practice matches to see him play.
he goes absolutely crazy when he sees you in the crowd, he will personally go out of his way and climb into the bleachers just to hug you, to shower you with affection that's long overdue.
akaashi tries to stop him and hold him back from attracting too much attention towards you two, but as long as you're okay with it, bokuto finds no reason to not give the only girl he's made to love all the love, affection, attention and devotion he has for you.

Propaganda Under Cut
Kairi
kairi is the third protagonist of the kingdom hearts series and the third member of the destiny trio, alongside fan favorites sora and riku. sora/riku shippers HATE kairi, and will go out of their way to discount her at every turn. the hate for her ranges from typical "she's a boring bitch" to fans of soriku making five-hour long video essays reassuring their fellow shippers that the big bad kairi won't show up in the next installment – to quote one video, "she's in a box. she's on the shelf. four walls, no door." kairi is the greatest bogeyman the soriku fandom has ever known, to the point where most of said video essays and fanon meta posts focus not on why sora and riku should get together, but rather on why they don't like kairi.
Literally has a 100+ page Google doc fan theory writing her out of the narrative and putting all of her (few) canonical accomplishments onto half of the popular m/m ship (soriku). Don't even get me started on how her memory was completely written out of the canon plot of re:coded. KH is a nightmare to explain so dude trust me she is THE victim of yaoi
She is so fundamental to the plot and themes and narratives of game and yet it is near impossible to find anything about her thats not ship bashing pre-mlm with the other two characters. I dont even care if she ends up with one of the main characters i just want fans to see her as a cool character to love or like, anything other than “annoying comphet girl.” You can write your mlm but pleaae stop inventing comphet where it doesnt exist. She does not even get to spend time with sora ever?? Why does everyone see her as a threat and a thing to destroy?? Let her have friends so help me
Misa Amane
she gets treated in-canon the way fandoms treat female characters that Threaten an m/m ship. it's like, "oh why don't you go sit in the corner and be pretty, misa, while the Men have intelligent conversation and pretend they aren't ten seconds from fucking each other, doesn't that sound nice?" it's infuriating. and MAYBE it's better now but i remember her getting treated the same way in fanfiction too, like we all need to do just as badly by our female secondary characters as fucking tsugumi ohba, but with the added insult of making her be alternately oblivious of the relationship between light and L or actively trying to sabotage it—incompetently, of course, because god forbid misa be allowed dignity or moments of cleverness.
she's one of the first characters I think of when I consider old school fandom misogyny. The annoying bitch and clingy crazy gf allegations were AFTER HER ASS. She's also a lot more intelligent than people gave her credit for, but most seem inclined to take the Very Biased word of our unreliable, narcissistic narrator and his homoerotic arch nemesis and claim that just because she's bubbly and into romance that she's also a complete moron. Which is blatantly untrue. Everyone was afraid of Misa girlbossing too hard. Killing people and devoting yourself to the deranged twink of your dreams even though you know he'll never love you back??? Having a hardcore goth aesthetic and being so Hot even literal Death Gods are into you?? God forbid women do ANYTHING!
Not only is she the victim of yaoi culture, she is the victim of early 2000s misogyny by an author that wanted to introduce a girl character because he knew his male rivals were getting too homoerotic. She is a goth bimbo icon who portrays what I think is one of the few callouts for stan culture and what parasocial relationships can do to both the stan and the idol. The fact that she is a toxic fan of Kira and also hot, funny, sociable is tragic in its own way, which I think the author did try to touch on but was too misogynistic too really get through. Of course, she was reduced to villain status by the fandom and anime alike because she got in the way of the supposed romance in their psychological horror anime.

Okay here are some thoughts I've spammed to my friends in the last few days! (BTW I read the manga already for the first game so I basically spoiled it but I was still equally as shocked when these things happened in the game lol)
By the way, spoilers below for anyone who hasn't played!
General thoughts:
SORA IS SOOOOOOOOOO CUTE 🥺 The voice actor voiced him PERFECTLY, he's exactly the perfect combination of hopeful, friendship, little kid, strong heart, over confident at times, stubborn, sweet. 😭💖
Told a friend I love Sora in a different way than I love Gohan, here were my thoughts:
Gohan is more quiet, sweet, gentle, burdened with a lot of power that he seems hesitant to use and slowly builds his confidence throughout the show, I relate to Gohan a lot, sweet cinnamon roll that must be protecc, but forced to protecc others, etc etc
Sora is sweet and gentle but loud, has a HUGE heart and he uses it to protect his friends with 100% confidence (he's more like Goku in that way), his heart is just unwavering and he doesn't seem to doubt himself often (at least in KH1), funny and goofy and his stubbornness can get him into trouble sometimes but his bonds with his friends give him strength, I don't relate to him but I would love to draw inspiration from him

Riku is so insanely jealous of Sora it's hilarious, he's overall kind of a jerk and even Kairi said she wanted to leave the island without him, but also Riku is 15 and hormonal and Maleficent got to him so I don't really blame him for it
Donald and Goofy are way less annoying than I assumed they would be, I like that they seem refreshingly mature?? Donald is stubborn and beefs with Sora a lot and Goofy seems like he has a good head on his shoulders and is a deep thinker
Also I keep seeing memes of Donald constantly getting knocked out in game and being useless but for me Donald ALWAYS comes in clutch with the elixirs and ethers
That scene where Maleficent tells Riku that Sora replaced him and Kairi with Donald and Goofy was sad in both the manga and the game but what REALLY made my jaw drop was that SORA LOWKEY FELT THE SAME:
(Yes he was fighting with Donald at the time too but LOOK AT HIS FACE!!! 😭🙏)
If Riku talked to Sora for more than 10 seconds at a time literally all of this would be resolved XD LIKE!! Sora is literally trying to find them! Riku please!

It was low blow after low blow! I read this in the manga too but somehow it hit harder in the game!
Hollow Bastion is a great OST and I've been listening to it on repeat. The map is also pretty nice but I wish I could explore more without heartless appearing every 5 seconds
Actually I also liked the OST "A Day in Agrabah"
I beat Riku's ass in 10 seconds and it was glorious (Ansem is a whole other story...still working on it)
DID I MENTION SORA HAS SUCH A KIND AND SWEET AND STRONG HEART!?
Every single cutscene had the words "light" "darkness" "friendship" "heart" "memories" repeated over and over again to form a cutscene (I saw this in a Youtube video and thought it was incredibly accurate XD)
My sister and I were CRACKING UP during this cutscene because it made NO SENSE
It just kept getting more and more non-sensical XD
I think Aladdin was my favourite world so far but tbh they were all pretty cool (Sora's Halloween Town fit was so cute! Also I loved flying around by Big Ben, and then getting the glide feature)
The Maleficent Dragon boss was really hard, cool, and fun; Tinker Bell really came in clutch
Also I gotta say this game is really hard to play because the control are so annoying, the jump function is annoying (I keep falling off and misjudging his jump), it keep glitching cause it's connected to the cloud or something, the directions are too vague so I have to follow a walkthrough while playing, and I have to keep stopping between plays because I get motion sickness from the wildly spinning camera really easily -- despite all that I am indeed having a blast

Xion: hypothetically, if I were to, say, illegally smuggle a certain blonde haired nobody with mysterious memory powers out of radiant gardens… how likely do you think it is that I’d be pursued by the law?
Terra: extremely… why?
Xion: you may want to be wilfully ignorant of the blonde girl in my bedroom then…
Roxas: *to riku* do you think your going grey because of excess stress? Or are you just naturally that ugly?
Sora: I would like to preface this by saying that I asked Terra, who said no. So, then I asked Aqua who… also said no. But then, I asked Riku and he also said no, but in that way that totally means yes.
Riku: I really didn’t…
Ven: I just gunna hot diggity dog my way out of here and hope for the best.
Riku: I am not often proud of my acts of violence, but there is something so funny about watching Roxas get knocked on his ass by a wind spell.
Sora: “expect the unexpected” I’d rather unexpect the expected to be honest. The unexpected is getting predictable.
Kairi: I told Ven about that time I jump scared Riku so bad he fell out of a tree, and he tried to reassure me that I wasn’t to blame. Like I wasn’t fucking proud of that shit!
Roxas: I could do that yes, but the thing is, I have my heart set on being a hinderance!
Isa: sometimes I come out here just to think… but mostly I come out here to rehash arguments that happened five years ago.
Xion: I’ve had enough! When you come to write my eulogy say “she was nice, but she was shit at executively functioning.”
Ven: Vanitas can be labeled as many things: my darkness, the evil twin… the strange creature under the bed you take pity on but absolutely would beat to death with a lead pipe if it were to venture father into the room. The list is endless really.
Terra: what’s nice about getting to work with Riku as an equal is that I don’t have to stress about fucking up, he does that all in his own!
Riku: hey!
Kairi: Do you ever think about how human life is so fragile, you could end it instantly and never feel a single thing?
Everyone else: *takes a huge fuck off step back*
Riku: Being someone’s most important person is exhausting. I could decimate whole planets sephiroth style and Sora would still be like “he’s just a little guy!”
Aqua: Do not tell Sora that! mainly because he's impressionable, but also he's dumb as a brick.
Terra: when arriving in a new world there are three things you must remember: 1. respect the world order; 2. always respect the authority of those you are lending a hand to; and 3. There is a certain financial limit we expect you to adhere to when atempting to bribe local law enforcment to 'forget' what they saw Kairi just do.
Lea: Isa is the ‘moon’ to my ‘sun’, the ‘sky’ to my ‘land’, the ‘irreversible fuck up’ to my ‘realised he was evil in the first week’, the ‘I can fix him’ to my ‘let me brake his face with this chair’!
Isa: I said I was SORRY!
Lea: *mumbling* yeah well, love you too.
Sora: I don’t cry, I leak occasionally, it’s a hazard.
Riku: please get help.
Roxas: we are literally begging you.

YoRHa Unit 2B
The Battler style unit with the Type 2 personality. Battler's are masters of close and long range weapons, swords and guns. (2B is extra good at this as her designation is not actually 2B, but 2E. An executioner model. E types being the most advanced and combat focused of all YoRHa units)
She is very cold and serious, but by choice. Trying to force down her emotions as to not feel the hurt with the dealth of her allies. As when an Android dies, if their memory is not backed up, who they 'were' dies.
A loyal member of the YoRHa but she deeply wishes to experiance happyness and humanity.
YoRHa Unit 9S
A scanner type Yorha unit with the type 9 personality. Very curious and eager to learn, facinated by humans and their... everything.
9S is a very submissive femboy character in my writing.
Commander White
Commander White is the... well... the Commander of the YoRHa organisation. 2B, 9S and so many others superior.
A very strict and serious woman who hides her inner caring and guilt as she is unable to give her soldiers the support they need
YoRHa Unit A2
An older Attacker unit with the type 2 personality. (attackers are ebst at close range combat, usually with swords)
Originally shy and timid, average was the best word to describe her, A2 did not die when she was expected to. Being declaired a trator at that. And so A2 did battle, survived, killing machine and android alike to survive.
YoRHa Unit 2P
A clone of 2B made by the machines. A very dominant, confident and powerful being. She is confidence on legs, not scared to cut down or humilate any who talk to her with a dismissive glance at best.
Her name, 2P, is based off a '2nd Player' for video games, the type P apparently exists in canon. As such I belive P stands for Paladin, all of the skills of the type A (attacker) units as well as the type D (defender) units.
YoRHa Unit Operator 6O
Operator 6O is a very sweet and cheerful girl. An Operator Unit asigned to 2B, she is 2B's mission control... and arguably only/best friend. Curious and happy about humanity and the world long lost, she is a cheerful ball of sunshine
YoRHa Unit Operator 21O
21O is the opperator Unit assigned to 9S and acts as his big sister/mother figure, stopping him from getting too absorbed in hus curiosity and making sure he follows the rules. Stern and serious, she makes sure the job is done as she works as 9S' mission control

Dedede: (Scoffs While Walking Out of the Bus Alomg with Cloud and Tifa Behind Him) Bunch of posers. What kind of Mall Santa would charge someone to take one picture with them?
Tifa: There are few other malls I can think of, that actually does that kind of thing actually.
Cloud: I'm surprised you never thought about doing it as well, De.
Dedede: Why would I? It's the holiday! I ain't never gonna be the one to try and crush people's dreams of wanting to meet St. Nick for few a dough, especially since OUR mall starting to up charge the prices. (Turns to the Couple) Did y'all know they charge nutcrackers sixty dollars now?

Dedede: Yeah, sounds stupid, doesn't? It ain't even that special looking either! We have people working hard on their grind to try and buy games, gift, subscription cards, and rare looking action figures that cost just as much and then some, and y'all expecting people to pay that much for a regular looking ass nut cracker? Hell Nah!
Daisy: (Gently Grabbing onto Luigi's Hand Walking Next to Them Out of the Bus) I'm telling you, babe, you have nothing to worry about here. You folks seems like nice people from what you told me about me.
Luigi: ('Sigh') Yeah, but they can be a headache sometimes. Uncle Arthur and Tony especially. I can't TELL you how many times they kept pestering me about not having a girlfriend and boyfriend......
Daisy: (Forms a Confident Smirk on her Face While Hugging on her Boyfriend Arm) Well, luckily, you got yourself a kick ass girlfriend who's more than willing to stand by your side throughout all of it. I could even brag a little if you want.
Luigi: If it helps get those two to back off a bit, then I say go for it.
DK: (Walks Out of the Bus Along with Diddy While Sigh) I don't know, Diddy. Are you sure Pauline's not gonna be mad me for what happened?
Diddy: (Gives DK a Reassuring Smile on his Face) That was a long time ago, big guy. She don't seem like the kind of lady who hold grudges from what I heard.
DK: ('Sigh') I guess. (Smiles a Bit) It's cool have an entire city named after me at least.
The duo then starts noticing a few city folks glaring harshly at the big ape in question, causing him to swallow his confidence down with one gulp.
DK: Even if everyone here does hates my guts.....
Diddy: (Pulls the Front of his Shirt to the Side in Awkwardness) Sheesh.....
Peach: (Struck in Awe at the City in Front of Her) So this is New Donk City.......It's so.....big, vibrant....(See a Few Cars Driving By with the Multi Sounds of Horns Starts Ringing her Eardrums) A lot more busy than Smash Town even.
Mario: (Chuckles Lightly as He Walk Up Next to Peach) That's the city life for you. It used to look a lot different when Lu and I were raised here, but it still feels as homey and recognizable as it always been. Pauline did a really good job taking care of this place.
Peach: Yeah. That's.....(Frowns a Bit) Great.......
Mario: (Turns to Peach with a Bit of a Worried Look on his Face) Is everything okay, Peach? You're not having tummy ache again, are you?
Peach: (Giggles Softly) No baby~ I'm find. Really. I just got myself lost in my own thoughts again is all.
Mario: (Stares at Peach for a Brief Second Before Sighing) If you say so. (Points at Himself with a Grin on his Face) Just know I'm always here if you wanna talk and vent, okay? I'm serious.

Peach: (Giggles Softly) I try!~

The couple turns to see the Mayor of New Donk City, Pauline, walking over and happily waving at them.
Mario: (Smiles Brightly at his Old Friend) Pauline, hello! (Walks Over to Pauline and Gives her a Hug) It's so good to see you.
Pauline: (Hugs Mario Back) Likewise!~ (Forms a Teasing Smirk on her Face) I see you're looking a like a pipsqueak as you've always been.
Mario: (Smirks Back at Pauline) Hey, I've grown a least a few inches in the last few months or so!
Pauline: Really?~ Then how come I see still see the top of your head after all these years, hm?~

Multiple KH Characters and Their Favorite Video Games!
Destiny Island Trio:
Sora: Fighting games- preferably Smash. He mains himself main characters (Mario, Link, Kirby, FE protags). He sucks. He is the guy who button mashes and corners players to beat the hell out of them.
Riku: Fighting games- preferably Tekken or Street Fighter. Mains Jin or Lee. Attempts to be strategic but gets way too competitive fast and is busy mashing all the buttons off the controller.
Kairi: Way too good at fighting games. But she’d probably play lots of Pokemon or monster collecting games. She has many setups that are both competitive or just fun ones for a fun challenge.
Sea Salt Family:
Roxas: Persona fanboy. He hasn’t played 1-2 but he can’t pick a favorite between 3-5. Plays all the spinoffs or has someone else play them for him. His favorite characters are the protagonists. Hears jazz music and assumes this is a Persona 5 reference.
Xion: Resident DMC and Souls-like player. Girl is a monster on the controllers despite being just being born. The way she can effortlessly combo and dodge all attacks makes her a fearsome opponent.
Axel: Mario Kart. Axel is pretty average at video games (unless they’re like, retro or arcade) but Mario Kart? He’s on it like Donkey Kong. He mains Funky Kong.
Saix: He has two wolves inside him- the logical gamer and the second, more absurd gamer. Sometimes he wants to unwind, so he might pick up a basic platformer like Mario or Sonic, but on the other side- he’s a menace in a Warriors game. He’s hacking and slashing. He’s killing everyone in his path. Also, he’s a completionist. He has to get the best markings and everything. Won’t settle for less.
Wayfinder Trio:
Terra: Minecraft and fighting games. He tries his best lmao. He’s just got pretty big hands so often he messes up with combos but he’s also pretty impatient and tends to spam certain moves.
Aqua: Rhythm games definitely. Watch her effortlessly get all perfect scores in one try. Even the hardest OSU! map has nothing on Aqua. She also kicks ass at fighting games.
Ventus: He likes Mario and Sonic at the Olympic Games and Mario Party. He always loses at almost any game against his friends though.
Bonus Characters:
Namine: I feel like she enjoys visual novels and Okami. She really loves aesthetic games and is a patient player.
Xemnas: does not play video games beyond Candy Crush or Solitaire. You kids and your “Splatoons” or “Bayonettas”, go pick up an old Final Fantasy game smh.
Xigbar: Call of Duty. Fortnite. PUBG. Overwatch. He’s a menace and plays all sorts of FPS games. His sniping abilities IRL translate very well into games. Also likes the Hitman games.
Vexen: Bookworm and civilization manager games. He’s big on Age of Empires and is a top talent within the community. He loves playing as the Vikings or Mayans for competitive play. He’s also made many custom maps.
Zexion: Tower Defense managers and Ace Attorney. He loves deducing the crime or finding the best way to defend his base with the minimum amount of units possible.
Xaldin: He doesn’t play games (lie). He plays romantic visual novels. Plays all kinds of them. Otomes too. He is a lonely man. Also loves cooking games.
Lexaeus: farming games. He just has a fun time playing Story of Seasons. Rune Factory is nice too but he prefers SoS because he loves the farming aspect more.
Demyx: Guitar Hero. No argument. This man did all the crazy achievements and was going at it for days.
Luxord: Yeah yeah solitaire and gambling- have you considered he loves playing the Yakuza games? Well now you do. He loves the games dearly and cherishes them and likes to be the biggest Yakuza on the block. Also yeah, he plays lot of gacha games.
Marluxia: Doesn’t really play video games, but he’d most likely play some horror games with Larxene or town management games.
Larxene: Horror games or multiplayer games where she can troll people. Banned from multiple servers and people refuse to play with her minus Marluxia. Aesthetically though she loves Trish from DMC and thinks Vergil is number one.

Vibe check for borderline crack but also kinda serious AU where Baldr somehow finds himself heart freeloading in Riku years after his death, and now Riku has a keyblade wielder with a body count hanging around over the events of the mainline games. Baldr haunting the narative figuratively AND literally.
Extra features such as Riku and Baldr having extra strong light in them because to quote the intro to KH1 "the closer you get to light the greater your shadow becomes" but much like how negative times can easily overtake positive ones, it's not easily noticeable.
Featuring events such as:
Hanging around Destiny Islands as an incorporeal ghost that can barely interact with Riku but spending most of his time sleeping or at ease kinda does wonders for all those repressed emotions and trauma.
Adults think Riku has an imaginary friend. Riku was halfway convinced he was being haunted thanks to Baldr's white hair, eyes and lashes.
Baldr gets attached. Just a little bit.
Watching Riku struggle with his inner darkness and feeling abandoned in KH1 hits a little too close for comfort for Baldr, but hey, he knows from experience that anyone's voice would be preferable to the darkness.
Baldr clocking Xehanort almost immediately and going what the fuck. What the hell are you doing. Bastard what happened to you after all these years. Finds out Xehanort's trying to create Kingdom Hearts and is all OH so when *I* try to do it, you kill me, but if it's you, it's totally fine? I hope the kid beats your ass.
Baldr popping in as a voice in the climax and giving Ansem Seeker of Darkness a crisis before he dies, which he didn't quite *mean* to but he can still read emotions as a heart ghost. Feels kinda good he's not gonna lie.
Riku eventually grows taller than Baldr and he feels slighted. Offended. You're supposed to be a pipsqueak stop that.
Riku instead of turning into Ansem SoD in KH2 takes on the form of Baldr from connecting with his own darkness and, by proxy, Baldr. Instead of getting taller he gets shorter.
Cue Baldr weighing the pros and cons of Riku revealing his new form in front of Xemnas like-
Cons: The possible rise of danger my heart innkeeper will be in.
Pros: Chaos.
Sora squinting at Baldr!Riku until he screams and points like "YOU'RE THE GUY! FROM RIKU'S DRAWINGS! THE GHOST!" and Kairi doesn't get it until Sora reminds her of the guy Riku sometimes talked about when they were kids and drew pictures of and then SHE'S pointing like !??!!?! and Riku's like uuuuhhhh I can explain but it'll take a while.
"You know Xehanort? Why didn't you say anything??" "Yeah he was my classmate. And then he executed me after I killed the others in our class. And some of our upperclassmen. It's not the best conversation opener."
Riku becoming understandably distressed once he finds out how exactly Baldr died and the lead-up to his breakdown. Has to go talk to Mickey and be reassured that if Riku ever loses his way in the darkness again, they'll pull him right out no matter how many times it takes.
Baldr tries very, very hard not to be bitter.
"My feelings about my friends, sister and place of birth are complicated on the best of days, but I'm glad you don't have to live with the suffocating guilt and anxiety that there's something inherently wrong with you for having even a sliver more darkness in you than what's considered acceptable and worrying your loved ones will put you down if they find out. I'm glad you have people who understand you, and who try to understand you."
"Do you ever wish you could meet your sister again?" "I'm content mourning her."
The state of Sora, Riku and Kairi's friendship and complicated feelings about each other is almost enough to give Baldr an aneurysm when he feels them.
The fun of DDD where Baldr can take a solid form inside the dream realm and meets young Xehanort when his death is still fresh in his mind :^ )
Baldr, finding out about what happened with Eraqus and his apprentices; "Goddamnit Eraqus."
Someone telling Riku to follow his heart and he goes "Are you asking me to kill?"
Baldr; The number one guy who can get under Xehanort's skin and tear down his 'specialest guy' mindset, and only partly because his emotions are an open book to him. Takes a look at adult versions of him and goes "Oh I want to bully him so bad, it'd be so easy."
Xehanort; Has spent the last decades researching darkness because of Baldr, while also pointedly not thinking about Baldr, that Baldr killed their friends, or that Xehanort killed him.
Why is Baldr in Riku? Eeeh, unsure. Mayhaps the kids were all meant to go to Quadratum after they died but Baldr went "nope" and drifted around instead until Riku was born and his heart went "oh twinsies". Maybe his classmates have been looking for him, after time has passed to think and reflect yet there's still been no sign of him.
And since I'm a sucker for happy endings all the DR kids reunite in Quadratum and Xehanort and Baldr can now kick each other's ankles and be the kind of pair that would be unbelievably toxic where they different people but it somehow works. Being able to read your partner's emotions would be very one-sided in any situation except where they can read yours right back.

i am so curious. whos your favorite of organization 13 (the original but the "real" is fine too if u have any particular favorites) . i feel like roxas and xion are obvious answers because if you hate either of them you're just sucks. but other than them
xion is 100% my favourite org member hands down, both her role in the original and the 'real', but if not her then larxene literally showed up for one game, served cunt, was a bitch, and died. and then came back. and i love her so fucking much for it. when she dies in 3 she literally just admits that she didnt give a shit about xehanort shes just there for the drama and i love her so much for it, she also has cool ass knives which i gotta respect her for
she's also just like. an ACTUAL antagonistic original kh female character!! kairi, aqua, xion, namine, olette, and the other original kh girls are all protagonists or at least on the side of light which is cool but it leads to a lot of similarities in characterisation and not much variance. but larxene. she fucking kicked a child then threatened another with her knives. UNAPOLOGETICALLY. then comes back in kh3 in the frozen world and actually makes a good point about having to autonomy of choice. but in general she sucks and i love her for it!! i was recently thinking about either a com roleswap between her and marluxia/a personality swap with them (theyre already relatively similar being co-conspirators and all but slightly stoic and mysterious/ominous larxene and marluxia being more of a taunting bitch about someone sora forgot about and constantly withholding that information just out of reach (which would be a good parallel to his own experience with strelitzia and his whole past) is a dynamic i would love)
her voice acting is also very enjoyable AND my favourite spell is thunder so i gotta give her that. one thing i will say is that i was kinda sad that her remix of the 13th struggle in the kh3 data bosses is the most similar to the original and she doesnt get anything too unique. especially given the fact that saix has ELECTRIC guitars and not her, i really think it wouldve gone hard. my one wish for her in the future (since it looks like ux characters will be relevant) is that they dont just completely erase her personality and let her keep some of that edge, i dont want her to be washed down to another demure, generic supporting female character.
i can also say that my very very least favourite org member is xaldin because i have a strong personal grudge against david dayan fisher (xaldin's eng va) that i cannot say without revealing some very personal information. when i say personal grudge i dont mean theres like an obscure fact about him that i wont ever actually experience or be affected by that i dont like, i mean this is a very real/personal thing that i do not like him for. in person (its not that serious but i love being a hater. and i will never forgive him)

About 3 months later and I finally managed to finish the second part of my Destiny Trio fusion designs. A combination of life stuff getting in the way and having to restarting several times until I got a pose I was happy with. It do be like that sometimes.
As mountains are where the land and the sky touch I have thus nicknamed this fusion Yama. You may have noticed he's got a bit of an odd expression on his face. There's a reason for that... after the cut.
For this one, I tried putting a bit more thought into what his personality would be like. Since I'm basing these on the kids' KH1 designs specifically, I thought back to what Sora and Riku's dynamic was during the beginning of the game, before the Heartless arrive and separate the three friends.
At that point in the game, Riku is the resident cool kid who excels at everything without even trying; Sora may get a lucky win a few times, but it's clear as day that this little rivalry of theirs is horribly one-sided (let’s face it, you totally lost that race the first time).
Now, skill alone doesn't make you cool: it's all about that attitude, you see. While Sora wears his emotions on his sleeve, Riku is calm and collected; he doesn't let his superior racing prowess get to his head. You think that if Sora started getting solid win streaks all of a sudden he wouldn't start bragging about it all the time? This is a long-winded way to say that Yama is that kind of friend. He may not even mean to come across as condescending, but for the love of- dude it's just a race, you don't have to rub it in!
As for the design itself, the general idea — turning Sora's jumpsuit into overalls suspended by Riku's X-shaped straps, worn above a hooded shirt — came to me fairly quick. The tricky part, however, was figuring out what to do about Riku's weird-ass pants. It took me waaaay too long to find out that "detachable pants" are an actual garment that exists and that I could just look up pictures of them for reference.
I thought about including a black version of Sora's necklace in reference to Oblivion's keychain (like how Suihei had a star necklace referencing Kairi's lucky charm), but I thought that might've cluttered the upper chest area a bit. Plus, I already hid a crown shape in the hair, see if you can spot it.

Hi. Boom. Here's long assorted sleep deprived thoughts I'm gonna be face palming at later about my current KH3 impressions.
Finished Olympus, Corona, now I'm on Toy Box.
PUNTING DONALD INTO ORBIT. And low key, Goofy, too. Like, on one hand, they're just Some Guys and also cartoon characters that make me giggle every cutscene they're in and they just try to lighten the mood or whatever. On the other hand, narratively, NOBODY is getting off Sora's case oh my god. Like, they've teased him before but it feels much more frequent and pointed this game towards the things Sora is insecure about. "Haha, you know Sora, our forgetful, stupid, careless, rash, powerless, weak, codependent idiot! We love him. <3" (exaggerated for comedy but they really don't stop with the punches and it's so uncalled for lol) And he either takes it or lightly goes "hey..." half the time. Donald keeps talking shit, Goofy just lets it happen and whenever there's actually disputes where Sora sasses back a 'lil then he steps in and it gives off vibes of "now don't make your mother angry." They're questionable guardian figures. Rehoming Sora to Supportive Dad Mickey Mouse real quick out of saltiness. That said, Goofy kind of laying a steadying hand on Sora on the Trinity Sled and when he was upset about Eugene's "death" in Corona is sweet.
The face of someone doing completely well who says "I can take it" twice in a row just to prove how well he's doing:
Bestie. You're fifteen years old and running around in a world where tripping acid on identity issues, amnesia, and listening to vague monologues from strange predatory darkness men is another Tuesday.
Sora keeps spacing out and giving thousand yard stares especially throughout this game, and when Ienzo told him "yeah, your heart's not entirely yours!" And Sora just stared blankly at the phone like "figures." I just laughed, lol. He's just constantly pivoting between being occupied by and amazed by the Wonder™ of the world/absorbed by the hype of meeting new people and the Horrors™ presented by the constant tumult of foreign emotions and memories running through his little head, clearly to such a degree that it's no surprise to be told that there's whole fuckin people within him. Teenage experience, honestly. Love coming of age narratives that are just crazy fucking magic bs manifesting in dissociation central. What a guy.
I was in tears laughing when Sora was hearing voices in Twilight Town and thought Hayner and co. were those same voices for a sec and very enthusiastically, as though to prove himself went: "See?? :DDD Voices!" SORA, HONEY.
In other news of AAA-
Way to the Dawn just fucking broke? Why was everyone so calm? Am I missing something? Riku's like "aha gives me an excuse to skill up and get a better one-" child, I am gripping you by the shoulders. This blade is manifested as an extension of your heart, they don't just BREAK. Should I be concerned about the integrity of your soul, brother?
THE SCENE WITH KAIRI AND LEA/AXEL WAS SO SWEET, I WANT MORE OF THEM. NEED MORE OF THEM, ACTUALLY. When Kairi was like ":3 hehe I'm gonna beat your ass in the ring," and when he started CRYING because he caught a glimpse of Xion in her. 😭 Her letter to Sora was so fucking sad I am heartbroken how she becomes more alienated from her friends as time goes on. She went from sending the letter as a waypoint in KH2, like "please come back, here I am" to "you know where I am, but I'm still here talking to myself anyway." I. 👏 NEED. 👏 CLOSURE. 👏 Preferably for Kairi with both Sora and Riku, but they'll probably do just Sora but I dunno I don't want to get my hopes up or down. I just... I dunno, even if things aren't necessarily the same with all of them, I'd just like there to be something affirming where they stand because like even though the care they have for each other is obviously there, you can see it with all three of them in KH1 and KH2 (drives me up the walls bonkers when Riku shielded her with his body and Sora caught her when they were flashbanged), it's also like that feeling of a dwindling group chat kind of scenario. "That's right, no more waiting for you to come back from your adventures..." Props to VA that line was delivered so laden with hollowness. I hold Kairi in hands. Devastated.
THE FOCUS ON SAVING ROXAS HAS ME EXCITED. THAT IS ALL. I WAS YELLING AT SCREEN FOR FOREVER LIKE "USE A REPLICA" and then Riku finally was like "🤔✨...Replica?" And I went and mentally hoisted him onto my shoulders for a little "hip hip hooray" because the dots are connecting with the characters, fellas. I might see at least one of my peoples, soon.
Riku's VA just sounds like he's given up for this game and it's killing me, lol. Voice direction just hasn't been in his favor so far.
Mickey Mouse and Riku bonding time in hell. Riku's like "wow, mouse dad, I feel less riddled with self doubt these days. It's pretty nice to feel like a go-getter, haha, wonder why tho?" And Mickey Mouse is like... "Well... 🏳️🌈...! :D" Riku goes: "🤔... 🏳️🌈👍." strength to protect what matters And then that's that. Back to reconnaissance mission for lost veteran. Cinematic perfection.
Sora is still a certified Disney princess, if anyone's curious. He got his dance number in for this game, and he had birds gently circle around him and land on his finger.
Marluxia: "Ah yes, we finally reunite." Sora: "who"
I still can't tell if anyone has debriefed Sora, Donald, and Goofy about what happened in Castle Oblivion yet in any way. I'm wondering why they're (writers) playing that particular plot line so close to their chest.
Adorable how well Sora and Rapunzel got along. While Sora is a friend to all and shit it's really sweet seeing how he still seems to have bonds where he personally clicks with some characters more than others. And all for good reasons- like matching with his traits. I imagine him, Rapunzel, Ariel, and Hercules get brunch at the Bistro now, and no one can take this from me. Also Hercules is such a Sora hypeman, cheering him on even when he's getting crushed by a building. He passes the vibe check 100%.
I manifested my gag attack concept from my BBS post halfway into being and I'm so happy about it, lol. Thank you Hercules from hit movie Hercules for swinging Sora around in a circle like a broadsword in your special attack. I think more people should use him as a broadsword for enrichment reasons.
THEY CUT OUT THE SNUGGLY DUCKLING FROM TANGLED. SO MUCH POTENTIAL HAS BEEN LOST FROM CANON. I WILL NEVER RECOVER.

Twilight Town is gorgeous and I now know the answer for "if I could pick a video game place to live" that's not just Stardew or Pokemon or something.
"I can't computer so... do that." Me too, Sora. Helping him learn his phone by having him take a ton of pictures, though. I'd like to imagine he sends them to his buddies or is excited to show them later or something. That would be so <3
The Kingdom Hearts social media posts are so funny to me for some reason btw. You get surreal shit like Riku pain-posting "I wonder if I'm the reason Ansem looks the way he does :/" and. The sideway frown just sent me. No, I can't explain why. Just comedy gold. "Mfw when possession :/" "sometimes I think about when my friend was in a coma for a year :/" "y'know I wonder what my family felt when my home was overcome with darkness because of me. Did it hurt? Were they afraid? Well they're back now but I wonder that sometimes. :/"

From most to least likely
Leviathan. He has every single keyblade. He has all of the novels and manga. He’s played every single game. He wants to fight Tetsuya Nomura. He also hates Donald Duck. He thinks Kairi deserves more. He’s written a 50 page essay on KH Union Cross and when three came out he wouldn’t shut up about how he knew it would be integral to the lore.
Satan. HEAR ME OUT FIRST!!! Okay it started out as a joke because Levi would not shut up about how stupid the release order of the games was. Then he sees Levi with novels . “Why is Mickey Mouse holding a sword?” He asks. He then reads all the novels. He reads the whole wiki. He likes Dream Drop Distance the most. Feels bad for Ventus.
Mammon. He tried to sell Levi’s replica Kingdom Key. Found out it was worth $500 when Levi immediately tried to fight him over it. He wants a big ass gucci key too and orders one. Thinks Demyx would be a cool demon. Plays Chain of Memories the most. He also hates Donald Duck.
Belphie. Birth By Sleep and Dream Drop Distance are his favorite games. Ventus and Riku are his favorite characters. At any given moment he will look at Satan and go “What’s your name?” Or “Ven! Are you okay?” Everyone has to watch as Satan laughs so hard he starts crying. Every. Single. Time. He also wants to take a 10 year nap. He has a life-size metal Starlight keyblade.
Luke. He saw a poster for KH3 while in the human realm and thought it was so cool! He plays KH1 the most. Sometimes thinks MC is “just like Aqua!” Wants to dress up like Sora for Halloween.
Solomon. He knows about it. He’s neutral on it. Thinks Sora in Smash was a funny moment in human history. Says Donald Duck is the best character just to mess with Mammon and Levi.
Barbatos. He finds Tetsuya Nomura’s Time Travel rules amusing. That’s the only reason he knows about it and that’s about as far as his care goes for it.
Asmo. He’s seen it trend a few times on social media! He thinks the in-game clothing designs are hideous. He once walked in on Mammon and Levi playing Chain of Memories and got offended that Marluxia could look that good while wielding a scythe. He likes the 20th anniversary fashion designs though. Refers to Larxene as “blonde bestie babe”
Beel. He watches Belphie and Levi play sometimes. Always gets hungry when they play KH2 and has learned how to make sea-salt ice cream. Thinks more tasty food should be in the game.
Diavolo. He does not know much but he thinks Mickey Mouse is a wonderful king. “He’s trying to unite their worlds too, right Barbatos?” He’s confused but he’s supportive nonetheless.
Lucifer. He has too many other things to do than to focus on some video games series. He’s banned the name Xehanort from the dinner table. He then had to ban the name Sora.
Simeon. This poor man can’t even operate a phone! I don’t think he could make it past the first fight in the tutorial.

My Highlights from Royal Rumble 2024
So it's people throwing season again, soon to be sign pointing season
The Royal Rumble remains perhaps the secondmost highlight of WWE's calendar, mainly as it sets the wheels for Wrestlemania. This one however has a stacked amount of names but an air of distaste given the lawsuit against Vince McMahon, allegations which are horrid and egregious and would justify anyone who sought not to watch the show in response to it.
Still, the PPV was something to check out...albeit not through paid transaction, so let's talk about the positives of the show

The Pre-Show is worthless save for Paul Heyman who always delivers on the promo
Pat McAfee always feels happy to show up at least
Nice to hear Naomi get a pop again
Even though it failed in the end, Kairi's hold-on was pretty cool
Showing the top 3 active wrestler's times was a nice bit of information too
Big ass wings from Zelina
Shotzi got a bigger tank this time
Oh Truth...
Bayley was very much the right call to win too
They at least explained why the count wasn't made during the stack, even if it's bull
Oh Hey Logan Paul actually has some decent gear...
Putting the Usos to start the Men's Rumble is a clever move
Andrade's extra headpiece for his mask was cool
Reminder that technically since nobody entered in place of Rey Mysterio last year and that Cody left over the top rope that he technically won last year's Royal Rumble
Kaiser with the casual sidestep as Lashley brawled with AOP next to him
GUNTHER, that is all
Truth trying to tag in XD Then doing the Cena 5 moves of doom
Gotta hand it to him Dom sold the hell out of being thrown over
SAMI, would've been a great surprise winner

The mini match of Cody and Punk started well, kinda showing that really they could've had a Mania match and left the rumble winner a surprise because they got too obsessed with each other
Conclusion
Eh, I didn't have as good a time as I'd hoped I'm afraid. A lot of dead space or things not clicking; the US title and UNI title matches were forgettable, the former's finish was awful. Jordynne showing up was a surprise spoiled already but even then it happened last year with Mickie anyway, not much novelty there, plus she eliminated nobody and was felled in a minute against Belair, classic WWE-ism of 'oh this is a top person for you? Well they're not as good as our non-champion'. Pat eliminating himself was a waste of time, and as much as Jade had a good showing like, Nia? Really? We've seen many pick up Nia Jax let's be serious here. Also neither Jimmy or Jey eliminated each other, what was the point of them as the first two? GUNTHER deserved better than being eliminated by Cody yet again and Drew and Punk literally did the same thing before they were eliminated.
I suppose it'd be enjoyable if you were a WWE-only who believes everything commentary says, even when they contradicted themselves on the night when Waller and Theory referenced Luger/Hart's win and then later Cole went 'no rumble has had 2 winners'. But even then the men's rumble was woefully obvious, Cody winning back to back just feels uninspired too, they're literally trying to run it back after dropping the ball last time - except, with no WWE championship anymore Cody can't really finish the story of winning the title his father was robbed of winning now can he? It's just, not surprising, and that's been the theme of this entire event because you saw most of it coming a mile off; Jade, Naomi, Jordynne, Andrade, Cody/Punk final two, Solo interferes in Roman's match, Logan Paul wins beat cheap means it's just meh, the only genuine surprise was Sami coming back and he barely lasted.
Also I gotta say that WWE's method of lying to media to try and put people off the scent; 'Ronda Rousey isn't returning in the rumble' (not this year ofc), 'oh Punk talks fell apart he won't return at Survivor Series', 'Cody's not finishing the story this year', it isn't a misdirect it's just fucking lying. And man Punk's credibility continues to drop when he talks about how great it is in the company that he accused of making him mentally ill and then doing a Pedigree in the ring, bad enough that Cody does one as a face after he kept teasing it as a symbol of a heel turn in AEW and then left before he did.
On the plus side at least, Bayley deserved that win.

Reading hyunjin's pov, ngl I felt bad for him but y/n reallyyy needed to confront him... idk it just felt good to see my girl going off at hyunjin(I live for angst🤭). the miscommunication was just bad BAD, so I hope it gets resolved soon.
But I'm just happy that chan and kairi are back😭🩷 I just love them soooo much and reading about what happened to them in the story just makes me feel very sad since all of this possibly happens to idols irl and it's just very sad that despite being humans, they have to go through all of this and are basically denied from feeling basic feelings💔
Also, THE CLIFFHANGER😫😫 I'm excited to see what's in store for the both of them hehe

DANCE: What fortune is it that the two of them ( with the added bonus of all the new friends they accumulated in their journeys ) would be back at home, just in time for the Destiny Island's music festival. Too bad this big palm tree is being too much of a stubborn ass to join the fun, wall-flowering it up off to the sides.
Maybe Sora can convince him to let loose with the others a little.
By now they were hailed as heroes (even against the better judgment of one), part of Destiny Island's pride of joy, a representation of what it meant to carry their hearts out to the worlds.
Woven into the culture of the music festival had been a few shoutouts towards them. Good drink raised, and the rhythmic push of multiple instruments drumming up a symphony of their very own. Seeing so many familiar faces had made it inevitable that Sora would bask in this dance of life. Tidus and Selphie could be seen making a mountain of catch up with Kairi, as Wakka himself had joined as one of the showmen for instrument playing. After scouring the stars for brands of excitement, brands of self discovery, part of it felt ethereal to be active in this again.
Those days where he'd love to do the same exact thing. That said, growth of multiple veins had left to a different ground for his primary running man. Best believe that Sora had taken the initiative to sweep his gaze about for Riku. To no one surprise (and a sullen tug at his own heart), seeing the big lug situated in location akin to the shadows of their figures made his lips quirk in distaste. In a way.. Part of him gets it.
A lot in their lives has changed. For Riku, somehow the boisterous nature of those earlier days had grown lax, allowing for a more evolved state of his reserved nature. The question remains however if either guilt or shyness played part in eliciting this to be his primary plan.
"Yo Tidus? Hold on a sec, and make sure the guys don't dive into the punch bowl either! I want me some seconds!"
"Yeah yeah. Better not make a disappearing act for too long, or else!" That comment nudged a snort out of Sora before he wove through the small ocean of people, passing through stands and patrons alike as that sway of silver hair managed to be a beacon in where to approach.
Riku wouldn't even have a moment to prepare before the hero abruptly shows himself, virtually shooting out the crowd with a big, cheery grin.
"Sora--! Wha?"
"Ohhh no you don't. C'mere!"
"Spot warming isn't gonna make ya any good memories, y'know." His words were driven with a sense of mirth that held a serious undertone. Both of them realized it somewhere deep down as it leads to Sora joining him, arms tucked behind his head while an exasperated sigh spilled from his lips. Not even the novelty of fresh aromas of great meals, to even a few shoutouts towards him had switched his tune.
"Even if I find it fine enough here? Who else is going to take point in keeping an eye on you guys?" ! That bit immediately earned him a nudge from the shorter keybearer, in tune with that, an equally 'pointed' stare towards him.
"Who said we needed a leader in that to begin with? Don't go makin' that up for yourself, especially when we all looked after each other back then.. Erm, my crybaby days aside from when I was younger."
To hear that actually drew a ghost of a snicker from Riku frustrated as much as it relieved him. "And you say that like it hasn't changed. Aren't you the prime example of wearing your heart on their sleeve."
"And I remember you saying how you wanted to take after that at one point."
This manages to get a stunned breath to usher from the silver haired master. It was the truth, yet, there was a difficulty in actually allowing those more silent wishes to be actually heard. How could he when at one point, there was a willingness to throw this treasured sight to oblivion itself? Being swept within those thoughts led to contemplative silence, which led to Sora in actively pushing him towards the crowd.
"Riku.. Days like this, getting lost in the past or some idea in the future is going to make you miss it all. Believe it or not, there's still a great deal of people who care about you here."
"Who wants you to be a part of a few more memories."
Sora understands how this was a matter that wouldn't be immediately alleviated. All the same, there was a stir of desire to actually push towards creating these possibilities for him, to leave a little courage to try letting his voice experience laughter, his eyes to drink in these sights with renewed value..
To live a little more outside of his Guardianhood.
"This is the now we've fought and bled for. Isn't it important to take it for what it is too?"
