OMG that is a so rare and I have never gotten this ask before.
I'm posting an answer but this is something I do not track, so I will need help. Keep an eye on the comments for the ones I missed.

Framboise (played by Kaji Masaki) is probably my favorite side character of 2022. In a year of great older queer men in genre, from Mork’s uncles Cheep and Dej in My Ride to Uncle Man in 21 Days Theory, I’m so glad we got Framboise as well. In Framboise we see a self-actualized gay man that literally lights up the room with his energy. He is what I aspire to be in a gay elder.
When Framboise first appears, it is in a burst of sunlight and flowers as he enters the convention floor. He’s excited to see other creators, and thrilled to be near another queer creator who he’s clearly admired for a long time. Framboise is determined to get Nekoyashiki to join them at the after party for other queer artists. Though he’s constantly rebuffed (and expresses his frustration vocally), he doesn’t give up on or abandon Nekoyashiki.
Framboise, like any sort of manga/anime character, has a clear and specific style. What I love so much about him is that he is more indicative of what so many gay men actually look like. We have facial hair. Some of us are chubby. We like for our clothes to fit well. So much of what I love about Framboise’s style is how it fits with his physicality.
His joy when he moves around is about being in the space with everyone. He’s not flashing his clothes to impress others; those are the clothes that make him feel most like himself. It’s such a joy to see a heavy-set character happy and comfortable in his skin in a BL, especially one that’s older.
Like many of us, Framboise thrives on queer community so much that he takes any offerings of kindness from Mamoru for the big deals that they are. He was so surprised in the middle of the series that he was overwhelmed with love and fell down. Like many of us, we can all appreciate the attention of an attractive younger man, and yet it mostly stops at play.
In the finale, we get to see Mamoru finally relax himself enough to be open to Framboise, and can finally receive directly the unconditional love of another queer person who cares about you. It’s big and it’s joyous and it is offered in behind the back hug that takes you off your feet.
Framboise isn’t happy for Mamoru because of specific success (exemplified by Takkun), he’s happy that Mamoru finally drew something he was happy with. As a queer elder, it’s such a joy to see a baby gay figure themself out and finally appear comfortable in their skin; conversely, Framboise displays how genuine appreciation for being seen earnestly. Mamoru knows that he’s appreciated.
As we reflect on the future of BL, I will be writing about Cheep, Dej, Man, and Framboise again, because this was the first year that queer elders really contributed to my enjoyment of the genre. I hope Framboise is the beginning of us seeing older queers having joyous lives in our dramas.

“What face shall I put on today?” My boyfriend asked. It’s my turn to pick, and I know what meal I want to eat all week.

Okay, I can’t take it any more, I give in. Please explain Guardian to me. I’ve tried looking at the Wikipedia page but it provided no answers. All I can tell is that there are these two guys, and one is a police officer and the other a university professor but they’re both also magical immortals or something? And maybe one of them is the eponymous guardian of the other? If that’s the case, I totally can’t tell which is which. Please help, every day I see gifsets and each one leaves me more confused than the last. I thought The Untamed was bad, but this…

guardian was based on a bl book and was obviously censored - i'll provide an explanation of the show rather than the book, but pls know the most significant censoring (other than the obvious) was the change of everything from ghosts, demons, etc to aliens
you get this big animated infodump at the beginning with no warning and it's glorious
for backstory, there's three races on haixing - the haixingians (effectively humans), the yashou (alien race #1, can transform into plants or animals depending on type [main animals are snakes and crows, with one noticeable exception in my beloved catboy da qing]), and the dixingren (alien race #2, can have basically any powers that you want for plot related purposes, have to remain underground due to a treaty that was written 10,000 years ago)
zhao yunlan (the one with the facial hair) is the chief of the special investigations division (sid), which is kinda like torchwood but less and also more competent? depends on how you look at it. he's the titular guardian, because he's in charge of keeping haixing safe by catching the dixing criminals who come to the surface (in the book he also gets a cool whip which is called the guardian order - at one point he mentions that when he was given it he thought he was gonna be the first male sailor moon, bless him). smart and smartass. likes being one step ahead of you without you knowing. permanently exasperated with existence. in absolute love with shen wei.
shen wei (the one with the eyes, you know the one) is hei pao shi, or the black cloaked envoy - he's the dixingian envoy also tasked with ensuring all dixingren who unlawfully cross into haixing are punished back in dixing. university professor who teaches biology. worst liar in the entire world. wears sleeve garters and an ass chain to kill me personally. absolutely devoted to zhao yunlan.
they will send you absolutely insane and you will thank them for it. they're on levels of eye contact never before seen. together they Are the gaslight/gatekeep/girlboss mansplain/manipulate/malewife couple of your dreams/nightmares.
shen wei has been around for the aforementioned 10,000 years - zhao yunlan is his own special case ;)
there are 7 members of the sid and they will all send you various levels of feral
da qing - aforementioned beloved cat boy. zhao yunlan's cat but also brother but also father but also son. best dynamic. they ran out of budget to be able to have him transform into his cat form like 5 episodes in (their budget got majorly cut partway through), so instead it's just a guy in overalls acting like a cat. i lvoe him.

lin jing - resident scientist. stresses himself out a lot. makes me laugh. still stumble over saying jin ling when referring to him

xiao guo - baby boy. baby. the babiest of boys you will ever see. precious little beanpole. genuinely the sweetest character you'll ever see in your life. levels of earnestness you wouldn't expect someone to pull off, but he absolutely does.
chu shuzhi - dixingren. has magical strings and a magical puppet. you can pinpoint the moment he falls in love with xiao guo down to the millisecond, and i screamed when i watched it.
throughout the plot they're tasked with collecting the four hallows, holy tools that have a lot of power, because the resident Big Bad (and their minions) want them to take over the world and so on and so forth (they're fun and dumb)
this show will tear your heart out and you will thank it, and then you will rewatch it while sobbing the whole way through because gahhh!

Well from your recent posts I've gathered that you are not a Big (with a capital B yes) fan of A Boss and a Babe so it's probly safe to say this . The reason i haven't watched this series is bcz I find the leads eerily similar looking?? Like if not siblings but atleast like distant cousins ??? Idk why but i can't unsee it now. Help .
Oh I don't think they look alike at all. Sorry, I don't know how to help you.
Maybe focus on specific features? Think of it like you were sketching them as a portrait artist? Like they have different mouth shape, eye shape/placement, cheekbones, and hair lines. Force (left) has a thinner straighter mouth more sculpted, slightly higher more prominent cheekbones, much heavier lidded eyes (he looks sultry and sleepy most of the time), slightly broader nose, longer face over all, and a prominent Adam's apple.
Book (right) has more delicate and finer features, his face is more heart-shaped and proportions are different (where his features fall on his face), smaller slightly pouty mouth, thinner nose, slightly rounder cheeks, close but less deep-set eyes. He's also lighter skinned. For all these reasons he's cast as the uke in their shows, as they are pretty much the same height, age (Book is actually a little older), and deferential politeness IRL, it could have gone either way.
(I don't make the rules, the yaoi gods do.)
Your Moment of Academia
If you're still struggling, there could be more/other reasons for this.
There is something called the Cross-race effect which may be impacting you. (The way to train your brain out of this one is to just keep watching tons of dramas, fashion, MVs made by cultures not your own. More info and discussion on this in this episode of All in the Mind podcast: The human drive to connect – and divide)
There's also Prosopagnosia to consider, although that's a lot rarer than modern peeps make it out to be.
I've also always felt like Dunbar's number may come into play with this kind of thing too. Like perhaps the human brain just has a limited max capacity for facial recognition storage.
So you might do better if you focus on their mannerisms and way of speaking which are completely different. (Siblings usually share vocality and mannerisms especially if they were raised together.) Body language and their way of holding themselves, smiles, eye crinkles, use of eyebrows, etc... Very few actors can move on from these tells.
Book has a more mobile face (which is why he suits comedy so well) but Force's is more emotive and expressive in nuance. He's uses more micro-movements, like little eye crinkles and a little crooked smile.
Their voices are very similar, but Force's is more burred, and a little more monotone (rare in Thai). He has a mellow soft way of speaking especially around the ubiquitous krap. Book has a rounder, wetter way of speaking, his kraps are more sharp and clipped.
All that said, IMHO you don't have to bother to watch either of ForceBook's series. So far this pair has been ill served by GMMTV. So if it wigs you out, there is plenty other, better BL.
Also if you want to actually watch a BL where the characters are some iteration of siblings, I'm sure Japan is there for you. If not, there's always the stepbrothers trope...
I have to say, I tend to way MORE annoyed when characters in a show who are meant to be siblings look absolutely nothing alike. Like bone-structure level "qua?" I know blood siblings don't always look alike, but they rarely look so completely different as we often get in TV or film the world over.
Way back, I did a series of actors in BL who I thought SHOULD play brothers and these are my favorites:
Mark Siwat Jumlongkul and War Wanarat Ratsameerat.
Now those two boys look related. To me, anyway.

I’m 2 eps into Manner of Death, and I’ve spent the past - year? year and a half? - poking around in bl being all, ‘yeah, yeah, MaxTul, whatever,’ but you guys weren’t kidding, and this is going to send me down a MaxTul rabbithole, isn’t it?
Anyway. Bun, even before he so blatantly tried to stop you from investigating, I was guessing your friend with the mustache was the killer. Anybody with that facial hair is up to no good, plus he’s related to the local magistrate, so we’re gonna get some good corruption and coverup, I bet. Also, i don’t yet know how this ties into Natty, but I suspect the bitemarks on both bodies are not only related but are also related to the way Mustache Guy was trying to haul Jane bodily out of the party. The only thing that makes me doubt it’s him, at this point, is that y’all are telegraphing his creepiness, and it’s kind of early to be tipping your hand, so I’m wondering if this is deliberate misdirection by the show. Plus, Inspector M, or whatever his name is, from the police, is also a creepfest and does a really good job of reminding me why i don’t trust cops, so there’s also that possibility, I guess, although I’m more surprised M hasn’t roofied you, yet, Bun, and threatened your virtue. I kind of thought he was getting you sloppy drunk with a purpose in the first episode, but I guess not yet?
As for you, Tan, you could stand to be a little less of a creep, yourself. I realize this drunken stranger kissed you out of nowhere after you two shared some sort of Moment When Your Gazes Met, but hitting on him in his hospital bed with his friend - your apparent girlfriend, who you seemed perfectly willing to cheat on with him before she turned up dead - barely cold ... you can see how you look a little skeevy, right?
Bun, you are beautiful and perfect and have never done anything wrong in your life (except completely forgetting about Oat - who are you, Kinn Theerapanyakul?), and I am charmed by your self-appointed calling as speaker for the dead. You and Frank Pembleton, man.

"The Girls of BL" Appreciation Post
The only GL series I've seen is Pearl Next Door, which was a spinoff of Gameboys. And the only BLs I've seen give air time to GL couples have been Bad Buddy and The Warp Effect.
But since the success of GAP, which stars two actresses who first worked together in Secret Crush on You, I feel like there will be more to come -- at least in Thai dramas.
From what I can tell, Jan Ployshompoo (left) and Ciize Apichaya (right) are the top BL actresses. You've seen Jan in Cupid's Last Wish as the sister/vessel, Lin; in Tonhon Chonlatee as the sex worker turned beard/ally, Miriam; and in an actual queer role in The Warp Effect as the boxing club owner turned reluctant mom, Nim. And you've seen Ciize in Tonhon Chonlatee as the gbff, Pang; and in The Warp Effect as the very patient gf of a furry, Liu.
We could also argue that Aye Sarunchana of A Tale of a Thousand Stars fame and the current Be My Favorite series, as well as the adorable Samantha Melanie Coates, who played the same role in Until We Meet Again and Between Us also qualify as BL regulars.
Then there's the other memorable women in The Warp Effect: We've got Silvy Pavida, who played aspiring "plus-size" actress, Molly; Fah Yongwaree, who played the traumatized main lead, Jean; and Gigie Sarocha, who plays the promiscuous flight attendant, Kat.
And I would give Film Rachanun, who played Black's gf, Eugene, in Not Me an honorable mention.
But who would I pair in a GL?
I think my vote would be for Sammy and Silvy. I want to see them have their day in the sun.
I feel like the plot could be Sammy's super girlie character opens a salon next door to Silvy's saucy, edgy character's salon -- an enemies to lover's trope where they butt heads at first and then band together against their predatory landlord. And the other girls in BL could all have supporting or cameo roles. Like Sammy's salon would have services covering hair, nails, facials, and massages, while Silvy's would have hair, makeup, tattoo, piercings, and cannabis services. And their clashing clientele is what starts their rivalry, but eventually they realize they'd be better as partners. Call it Sugar & Spice.

A Boss and a Babe Ep 7 Stray Thoughts
Last week, Cher and Gun began formally seeing each other, though Cher wanted to keep things private for now. Their dynamic is adorable, and everyone at work knows; folks are just keeping quiet to protect them. Unfortunately, life prevents them from committing to their eSports team, and they lost a big match. We left off at a very lovely moment of consent, which felt especially nice from New.
I like that Gun explicitly doesn't like skinship, so it at least explains why he doesn't instinctively reach out and touch Cher when he's unwell and instead clasps his arms behind his back.
Ah yes. This is a Thai BL. That hair better be dry or you will die if you go to sleep.
I'm okay with Sugar Daddy Gun. "You and your friends got beef? Let's grill it on the beach."
Oh, Gun, that was smooth. "Think of it as an inspection," as a way to make the guys feel more at ease is very kind. I like everyone here.
I also like the smirk Zo gave Cher.
I'm enjoying the Three apology scene, but I'm so distracted by the guy in red trunks in the background behind Jack who keeps disappearing and reappearing.
I'm definitely in love with Fluke Pusit. I really like the little bit of facial hair they're letting him keep.
See? Everyone sees what's happening with Cher and Gun, and are all like, "I'm not in that conversation."
Gun may be wealthy, but no one is immune to being dragged into the water for play time.
I think Thoop frustrates me because it's an experience I've been in Cher's position a lot lately in the last three years.
I like how genuinely Gun smiles around Cher and his friends.
I don't know about drinking out of actual glass on the beach. That seems hazardous.
Oh, Nivea product placement. How you never let us down. I'm not surprised that Gun is a nice drunk.
Yes! More Zo-Cher interactions! Zo is the emotional backbone holding this team together.
Once again! Everyone knows! Jack and Aoi told Cher not to broadcast that they went on a trip with the boss. The relationship is professionally inappropriate, but folks see how it's helping both of them, so they're keeping quiet! This is a show about how you can't control how others perceive you, and will just have to accept that people are going to misunderstand and dislike you. It's pretty clear!!
I love Aoi so much.
Book Kasidet is so fun to just observe. He's a special actor, and he and Force are to be reckoned with.
Oh, Gun. You really shouldn't appear on his stream and flirt. People are nosy and messy.
Gun is such a boyfriend. I love it.
Part of what I like about New's style sometimes is the lack of surprises. It felt like Thoop was an addict the entire time, and so it was revealed that he has been gambling. The conversation with Cher also goes exactly where you'd expect: Cher stresses that his sense of duty to Thoop is bigger than his feelings for Tian, and of course Thoop is going to force the money on Cher. Thoop is a gambler, and they don't like feeling like they owe people. He's also going to promise not to do it again, but we know he's going to get into huge trouble.
First Thoop says Cher only helps him out of a duty to his sister, and now he's mad that Cher is with someone else? Is he supposed to just mourn her forever even though she rejected him??
And now Thoop is going to do something especially dangerous.
Oh, I love Jack, too.
These two should not be having a cute conversation at work with those catty girls around.
Looks like they might get found out next week.
This has been a really enjoyable show for me, and I'm excited to talk about it alongside Step By Step next week. I've seen some confused gripes about this show, but it's been working well for me.
