Plot: a young actress has her first day meeting the stars of the avengers set, playing Morgan Stark.

Y/n, a 6 year old girl who had recently started acting, sat in the office beside her mum, her legs swinging, as the adults talking. She knew she had gotten a big role in a Marvel movie and she got to play in a movie with some big names in Hollywood. Her parents had said they had to talk some logistics out before she would have to go into the big room where all the other actors were to meet them. Something that made her incredibly nervous.

Her head snapped out when her mum said her name. “Y/n?” The 6 year old looked up with a small smile.

“Yes mama?” Her voice lilted as she tilted her head to look up at her mother, not sure about what’s going on after colouring her pictures the whole time the adults have been speaking.

“Are you ready to go meet your co-stars?” Y/n’s little heart picked up a little bit, her nerves striking her as she was about to meet some pretty big stars. She nodded her head and tucked her colouring book and pencil crayons away in her small backpack and stood up next to her mum who held her hand out, prompting the child to take the womans hand. “You okay little butterfly?” She asked crouching down, noting her daughters quiet demeanor all of a sudden.

“I’m nervous mama… what if they don’t like me?” She asked, her head hanging down, her foot shuffling back and forth. “What if they’re mean?” Her voice had dropped to a small whisper.

“Oh baby… I promise you that no body will be mean.” The mother said, one hand landing on the girl sshoulder and the other tucking a piece of brown hair behind her ear. “They’ll have to deal with mama bear if they do.” A small wink was thrown towards the little girl who giggled quietly and wrapped her arms around her mums neck forcing the woman who scoops the little girl up.

“Okay mama.” She muttered as her mum walked towards the board room that was full of her newest co-stars. When the director opened the door, the small girl tucked her head into her mothers neck with a small whimper after seeing everyone there. “Too many mama…”

“You’ll be okay butterfly.” A warm hand started rubbing her back gently. “One at time okay? We’ll start with Robert because he is who you have the most scenes with okay?” A small nod was given before green eyes peeked out to meet with Robert Downey Jr. eyes. “This is Robert.”

“You can call me Rob though sweetheart. I promise that its not as scary as it sounds. Most of the people here are so nice and fun, except Scarlett, shes scary.” The man winked at the little girl who looked over at who she knew to be Scarlett Johansson who had a look of pure shock on her face.

A small smack was heard before the whole room melted at y/n’s little giggle that followed after watching the blonde smack the man gently. “I am not! If anything, Renner is the only scary one.” Johansson said looking at the little girl who giggled again looking at the man who mocked a loud gasp. “Look how scary he is.”

“How dare you Johansson! I am a saint!” Jeremy said, placing his hand on his heart. “Mackie is the worst!” Another gasp had the girl giggling.

“Excuse you Renner! I am perfect just the way I am!” Mackie said with a proud smirk on his face. “Nice to meet you lady y/n! My name is Anthony Mackie!”

The girl smiled shyly then looked over at a lady who rolled her eyes and smiled shyly.

“Hi darling, I’m Gwyenth but you can call me Gwen. I play Robs wife so I’ll be your mum.” Y/n looked back at her mum then at Gwen and nodded.

“You can be my mama for the movie.” She said smiling at her. “You seem nice!”

“Awe thank you darling!” Gwen placed her hand on her heart smiling sweetly.

“You’ll be my mama so he will be my daddy?” Y/n said pointing to Robert who nodded and smiled widely at the girl.

“I will be! Youll be my daughter, Morgan Stark!” He said with pride.

“Morgan Stark… I like that name!”

“She’s so cute!”

“Mackie! Give the girl some space.”

“Stop telling me what to do Evans.”

“Never in my life!”

“Seriously. Can you two stop talking?”

“Says you Hemsworth.”

“Ow! I did nothing wrong Renner!”

“You were looking at me funny Ruffalo.”

“What does that even mean??”

A sharp whistle was heard and all the adults turned to look at Robert who had a disapproving look on his face, his hands placed over the 6 year olds girls ears so he didn’t frighten her. “You guys are scaring the kid!” They all looked at the girl who had a big smile on her face, her eyes sparkling with laughter.

“Wow… the whole Avengers cast is really just a big bunch of nerds…” Y/n’s mum uttered, sparking a whole new fight between the cast making the girl laugh even louder.

an | starting this special event off with something sweet and special, for one of my absolute favs— sam <3 this is my first time writing for him, so i hope i did him justice! just the thought of him having a son who looks up to him so much made me sooo soft, hope you guys like this one and enjoy the rest of the event :'-)<3!!!

As he stood before his third-grade class, his little notecards shaking in his hands from excitement, Riley could hardly contain the smile on his face. Standing beside him, as steady a presence as always, Sam was doing everything he could to keep from tearing up. Placing a hand on his son's shoulder, he gave him a smile as the small boy looked back up at him with an indescribable sense of pride shining in his gaze.

Turning back to face his class, Riley cleared his throat before beginning, "My name's Riley, and my special person is my dad." The kids ooh'd and ahh'd in their seats, some of them recognizing him from his line of work. "He's an Avenger!" a young boy from the second row blurted, earning a gentle hush from the teacher. "Yeah, I know," Riley laughed, "Pretty cool, right? Lots of you've probably seen him on TV— to everyone else, he's the Falcon. But to me, he's just Dad." The sweet boy turned to give his father a side hug, earning 'aww's from the audience as Sam fussed his hair playfully.

Trying to refocus on the little speech he'd written, Riley then turned back to his notecards. "My dad is a superhero at work, but to me, what really makes him a hero is all the other stuff he does. Before joining the Avengers, he was a pa-ra-res-cue man in the Air Force," he sounded out his words, "and at home, he takes care of me and my sisters and Mama– and he's the best dad ever." Hearing this little presentation for the first time, Sam couldn't help but gulp down a batch of tears, his heart swelling warmly with pride. "When I grow up, I wanna be just like him: smart, kind, and always ready to help others."

At the conclusion of the speech, the class erupted in cheers. A round of praise could be heard through the room as the pair earned a standing ovation, "Wow, Sam's awesome!" "I wanna join the Air Force too!" "I wish my dad was a superhero!"

Sweeping little Riley up off the floor in a giant bear hug, Sam held his boy close as he whispered in his ear, "That was awesome, bud. I'm so proud of you."

"Proud of you too, Dad," Riley breathed into his dad's embrace, "always proud of you."

"Thank you, Riley. Class, would anyone like to ask Mr. Wilson a question?" the teacher cut in, nearly every hand in the room shooting up in the air. Chuckling at the class's enthusiasm, she turned to Riley and offered, "Riley, would you like to call your friends?"

"Sure!" the boy was pleased to agree. First he chose a girl sitting in the front row, whose eyes went wide with excitement at being selected to ask the hero a question.

"Hi Mr. Wilson!" she beamed, earning a friendly smile from the man, "My question is: who is your favorite Avenger?"

so We Have A Ghost was the expansion pack I expected, spoilers abound

I liked that while the short story it was based from had focused on the perils of being social media famous, the movie focused on humanizing the ghost more in spite of the thriller and mystery tropes for kids being commonplace already

David Harbour taking on a largely non-speaking role means a lot, much more when there’s not much indication that his Randy McGovern character was a normal talker which opens up my headcanon that even in life Randy could have been situationally mute

Ernest's ghost visuals, though, make him look more angelic than ghostly: he's literally shimmering gold and often basking and bathing in the sunlight like he's divine, and judging by this I easily understand why some people would outright find him kinda hot

Black characters in much of the media I have consumed are not allowed to be total softies so I have to say I haven't consumed enough Black media but Anthony Mackie being a dad held this movie up like a spine

the fluid dynamic among the Presley family set the tone to contrast the rigid though similarly unstable dynamic among the Scheller and Yoshino folks, bonus point that Joy outright criticizes her status as the model minority that white people have weaponized Asians to be to keep Black people under their thumb

I can pick this movie apart more, but this is what I got for now and it's only my first viewing

Hi Minnie!! So I saw the gif set where Anthony is talking about how Seb is just shy and you gotta get him warmed up with almond butter. And I was like, "Why almond butter?"

Then my brain went into overdrive that "almond butter" is the secret word that Chris and Seb came up with for when they wanted to hook up. Like on set, they'd talk be talking about lunch all innocently, mentioning "almond butter" on toast and everyone thought they were genuinely talking about food but what they really meant was, "Meet me back in my trailer so we can fuck".

But all the production people saw was Seb looking real relaxed and happy after Chris made him an "almond butter" toast so they thought, gosh Seb must really fucking love almond butter, including Anthony.

But yeah...this is where my brain goes while running errands. I make no apologies lol. Have a lovely day!! 🤣🤣🤣

Oh my god, this is the best headcanon for Anthony's remark, I love it 😂 I was happy just to believe that almond butter was the first kind of white people food that came to Mackie's mind when he was describing how to win Sebastian over, but this is so much better!

The idea that even Mackie didn't realise that almond butter was a euphemism and he genuinely thought that Seb just got all blissed out looking just from eating some almond butter toast (when in reality it had to do with another type of nut altogether) is amazing and I never want to believe anything else ever again 🤣

All of episode 4. From him waking up to the torture scene to him offering up his heart to him waking up and attacking his captors to him walking out covered in blood with Dimi's head in hand. It's all perfection!!!!

Idea for a story

I have so many 😆 But the one that has always stuck with me is expanding It’s Still You and It’s Still Me into a series. I have parts of it written but can't figure out the very next part I also have that series with the reader who owns The Raven Hotel with the messed up stack that you looked over for me but I never finished 😅

Unpopular opinion

Not sure how unpopular this is, but Tak is actually a true romantic deep down. If you look at the OG Tak and his relationship with Quell, he is so soft with her and the way he still pines for her is so heartbreaking (and even the way he is with Ortega after they sleep together is really tender). After losing her and his sister (so he thinks), he put up a hard shell but he is still that same sweet, big-hearted man underneath.

Favorite relationship

Tak and Poe. It's sort of a Bruce Wayne and Alfred relationship where Tak bosses him around and Poe is super sarcastic with his responses and I love it!

Favorite headcanon

They never actually destroyed the double sleeve of Ryker's body after season 1 so while one version of Tak gave up the sleeve so Ryker could come back and took on the Anthony Mackie sleeve (and all of season 2 happened), the other Ryker sleeve with the copy of Tak went off to live on. This is also the version who was with Miriam during the final fight so he isn't burdened by what happened with Rei.

If people want real queerbaiting they should have been part of the teen wolf fandom. Or speak to any one of the millions of people who ship destiel.

Anthony Mackie who plays Sam Wilson made a good point that men (especially POCs) are overly sexualized and, that we should allow male friendships to be represented without it being anything beyond that.

I think fandom is dangerously approaching a very strange place of wanting writers to be like fans. We should learn to suspend disbelief and also allow male friendships to be showcased.

If we want Melshcass, we gotta write it.

or bbc sherlock or doctor who or really any show with two guys as besties, especially from that time frame.

I'm gonna give what anthony mackie said more context because he's not wrong and I know he was viciously attacked by fans because they're racists - although i do think there's something kinda :/ about presenting mm relationships as overly sexualized and I do think it probably didn't come out in the best way possible, but I don't want to pile on him because I think he was coming from the right place. and yes undoubtedly men of color, in particular Black men, are fetishized. and diego luna, despite being a white latino is racialized differently in the us, is definitely fetishized and stereotyped in the broader star wars fandom along with pedro pascal and oscar isaac.

he was talking specifically about shippers, not mlm who might want representation. in fact he says "the exploitation of homosexuality" and it's pretty clear that means slash shippers who get off to stereotypes of gay men and then get mad when men end up being close friends without a romance involved.

these shippers, usually straight women tbh, then attack anyone who criticizes them or doesn't ship their mm ships and call those people homophobic for (gasp) shipping men and women, even if those people are LITERAL QUEER PEOPLE lol.

so he's definitely right in that regard.

that being said I'm gonna push back a bit. I do not think it is out of bounds for fans to demand better representation, and I think writers should listen to queer fans (not weird fetishizers) because they should listen to queer people on how to represent queer people. it is important to represent men's friendships with people of all genders. we can do all of these things - have healthy, intimate and supportive friendships that are platonic represented while also doing the same for queer relationships, and hell even platonic relationships between queer people.

it isn't taking away representation to have two men be friends. but it isn't disrespecting men to headcanon two men who are friends as romantic. the disrespect comes in when the headcanon is just fetishizing bullshit, stereotypes - and when people think that it's like idk doing something for queer people to attack literal queer people and actors and writers for not shipping their ships LOL that's ridiculous and toxic.

i don't think melshi and cass will get together because i don't think that's the dynamic they've set up but it wouldn't be taking representation away from men's platonic friendships if they did LOL

HOW DOES YOUR CHARACTER FEEL ABOUT THE BATTLES? ARE THEY TRYING TO AVOID THEM? OR ARE THEY EAGER TO JUMP IN? Sam gets it, he’s seen soldiers start fight clubs, he’s seen the way the blip changed the rules and the world, it would almost be entertaining if it didn’t have the stench of last resort all over it. There’s a difference between people choosing violence, and all other options of agency being robbed from you.

WHY HAS YOUR CHARACTER ACCEPTED THEIR JOB POSITION? WILL THEY USE IT TO GET CLOSER TO DOOM? OR WILL THEY USE IT EXPLOIT HIM? OR DO THEY SIMPLY LIKE THEIR JOB? Sam Wilson stared at the sheriff badge for five minutes before asking if doom was fucking crazy. When he thought about it further he realized maybe he could make a difference or at least use the position to keep the resistance as safe as he can in Manhattan.

His messed up chaotic friends - Three male spots open to round out a misfits/Outsiders/bad influences type of group of high school friends who have since grown up. They came from messy lives and continue to have messy lives. However they consider their group of friends to be their family and there isn’t a thing they wouldn’t do for those within that group. True ride or die friends who still like to stir up trouble, knock back a few, and just have a good time with one another. These are your guys who are salt of the Earth, have some red flags they like to wave around but do really have a good heart despite the messes they seem to leave in their wake.
